I am Matt Williamson with the Yard Barker here to discuss the Dak Prescott situation, and I, overall thoughts of them are early in his career.
Is kind of a Phanom first on the scene with Zeke You Elliot.
At that point, I thought he was a little overrated.
Well, now I think he's vastly underrated and has really come on strong.
I mean, throughout his career with Garrett, the scheme hasn't helped him, though, that much they don't throw to the running backs enough.
There hasn't been enough easy throws for him.
Enough schemed up offense, but he still led a very, very good offense.
Could be great leadership traits on and off the field.
From what I understand, it's obvious on the field, Um, and while the you know the new coaching staff has to do a better job of scheming up more easy throws, preferably dizzy HQ, Elliot Dak has really become a great deep passer.
In the meantime, I mean, his downfield accuracy has got better and better as he's been in the league.
There's also seen a lot fewer bad plays than ever as well.
I mean, clearly, this was his best year, Um, again more big plays, fewer bad plays.
And of course, he can hurt you with his legs and is a very physical style of runner.
But that's secondary now.
He's a better passer than many given credit for, but the legs are obviously useful.
Um, come off his best years.
I mentioned with his best supporting cast and has really come on to his own.
Is a quarterback overall.
I mean, he is developing quickly and very, very well.
He has to be resigned.
Extended, franchised, whatever you wanna do.
I mean, he can't leave Dallas.
They He's by far their most important player in ascending player.
So the Cowboys need to lock up back for the long term.
And if it means Franchising him in the meantime, just to buy time, all that'll work as well.
So thanks so much again.
