00:00:17
We're gonna talk about how Christian Fauria thinks that the Patriots are 100% done with Tom Brady.
00:00:26
We're gonna do an in dive depth with the help of Mike Assault breaking down the Patriots roster needs and we're gonna look at it.
00:00:36
Free agents altogether is Kyle Van Noy seems likely to get a big payday elsewhere.
00:00:42
All that more here on DP on What's going on? Everybody and your boy Ray, Welcome to DP and Sports Talk Alive here on SportsCastr.

00:01:49
We like football season and everything that goes with it.
00:01:54
Thank you guys for tuning end, so I gotta be honest with you guys.
00:02:00
I started my YouTube channel back in 2017.
00:02:03
Since then, I've been writing and talking about the Patriots every single day, basically minus, you know, a day here and there.
00:02:10
I've got to watch this and talk about this team winning Super Bowl 53.
00:02:15
I got to talk about Tom Brady winning the league M v P.
00:02:18
I got to talk about the Patriots losing Super Bowl 52.
00:02:22
I got to talk about the divisional win.
00:02:24
This are lost this year against the Titans.
00:02:28
I got to talk about a lot of good things.
00:02:29
I don't think I've ever as a guy who for most of his online career, has talked about the New England Patriots.
00:02:40
I don't think I've ever talked about Tom Brady as much as I have the last two months.
00:02:46
It seems like every single day there's some new piece of speculation, some new piece of news, some new opinion that somebody around the league wants to give about Tom Brady.
00:02:59
And, hey, man, I've given my opinion on it.
00:03:01
What? I want to see him do what I think he could do.
00:03:04
We've talked about the Las Vegas Raiders, the L A Chargers.
00:03:07
We talked about the Dallas Cowboys.
00:03:11
I mean, Tom Brady is the hottest story in sports, and everybody with the Paul's has given their opinion.
00:03:16
Now some of them have just been opinions, and we know their opinion.
00:03:20
Some of them have been Flatow, lies that have led to speculation Michael Irving and I don't know if Irvin was lying, but puts out a rumor that the the Dallas Cowboys are actually thinking about training.
00:03:33
Dak Prescott surely consigned Tom Brady.
00:03:37
Obviously, that kind of stuff makes absolutely no sense, and it just adds fuel to the speculation and false narratives around the National Football League.
00:03:47
But it's the hottest story, and everybody is giving their opinion.
00:03:54
And now you can count in former New England Patriots tight end W. E.
00:04:00
I host Christian forya, and I'm probably saying his name wrong.
00:04:09
I don't care.
00:04:11
Faria Faria Body.
00:04:14
Yeah, I'm Italian, so that's how I bring it up.
00:04:17
But his words kind of I don't want to say, shocked me today.
00:04:24
I guess that wasn't the right thing to say.
00:04:26
But you know what? Henry Mechanic kind of broke it down and let's let's look at this, right? So former New England Patriots tight and Christian Fauria is extremely pessimistic about Tom Brady's return to the franchise, which has been Tom Brady's employer for the last 20 years.
00:04:43
And he believes that when Brady enters free agency, he will sign with another team, in part because far it doesn't think that the Patriots are willing to pay Brady a respectable salary for this upcoming season.
00:04:56
Here's exactly what he said, quote.
00:04:59
I believe that the Patriots are 100% done, retired Patriots tight end Christian Fauria said on Brady and W E E Eyes Ordway.
00:05:08
Ah, Merloni and forya.
00:05:11
I think that the Patriots are okay and ready to move on.
00:05:14
Everything that comes out from NFL Network reporter Ian Rappaport is just bogus. Nous.
00:05:21
It's fake.
00:05:22
It's narrative change, changing its camouflage.
00:05:26
It's not the truth, because there's there's going to be quote.
00:05:30
It's not our fault. Fans.
00:05:33
They know that Brady's not coming back. End quote.
00:05:37
In case you don't know who he is, far is a guy who was suspended by W E I.
00:05:42
I think I don't know his last year when w.
00:05:46
E.
00:05:47
I was floating the narrative that Tom Brady was going to hold out on the Patriots because he wanted Jimmy Garoppolo tight money.
00:05:54
Um, that's not why he was suspended.
00:05:55
He was suspended because he try to do some funny imitation of a Chinese person pretending to be Don G.
00:06:03
Tom Brady's agent and did a awful fake Chinese accent in his attempt at humor.
00:06:11
Just in case you don't know who he is.
00:06:14
But at the end of the day, does he have insight to the Patriots? Maybe W E.
00:06:20
I has a lot of players on.
00:06:21
He's a former player, one a couple of yeah, when a couple of Super Bowls with the Patriots.
00:06:27
Maybe he has some inside sources that other people don't have.
00:06:30
But, I mean, I don't know if you can come around and definitively say 100% of the patrons have done with Tom Brady, but we have discussed that whole $30 million salary in the past.
00:06:42
We've talked about the possibility that the Patriots could have put it out there.
00:06:46
I think when they came out, I said, Is there a possibility that the Patriots are put? It floated this to the media because nothing comes out of New England unless they want us to hear it like the media doesn't learn things unless the Patriots want us to hear it.
00:07:01
If you go all the way back to that 2017 I think it was released in 18 to 2017 agencies in that whole tension gate thing.
00:07:08
When you know Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, attention over Garoppolo and craft got involved.
00:07:13
Now there's tension between Craft and Ballot Shack and the whole upper brass were all, you know, hating on each other.
00:07:18
And we talked about what if there's smoke, there's fire.
00:07:21
There's gotta be some stuff they wouldn't write.
00:07:23
An article like this was all completely untrue.
00:07:25
And I know some Patriot fans were like, No, it's all bogus.
00:07:27
It's all be asked, Bubba, Bubba, somebody in the organization leaked enough of those stories toe wicked Sam, or whatever the hell his name is, too, to get that stuff out there.
00:07:36
And I believe that it could have come from Brady.
00:07:38
It could've came, came from the Patriots.
00:07:40
It could.
00:07:41
It came from a few sources, but it all could've came together.
00:07:44
The whole thing about it is, though, is that the whole thing about it is that nothing comes out of the pages organization unless they want us to hear it, you know? And then those stories came out.
00:08:00
All the Patriots are frustrated that that whole $30 million thing got floated like they were losing some sort of leverage or something.
00:08:06
I talked about it at the time that I believe there was all posturing by the Patriots.
00:08:11
I thought it was the posturing to try to lure Tom Brady back, but we talked about the possibility that may be new.
00:08:17
England was doing this because they knew that there was a good possibility a good chance of Tom Brady wasn't going to return to the Patriots.
00:08:26
And when that happened, the best thing that they could do is turn around and say, Hey, look, we did everything we could do toe.
00:08:33
Bring Brady back.
00:08:34
We did everything that we could do to get the guy back on this team.
00:08:38
We were willing to offer him $30 million.
00:08:42
We were willing to offer him money that we've never offered him ever in his career, and he chose to turn his back on his New England turn his back on you, and he went somewhere else.
00:08:52
Pats Nation.
00:08:53
Let's all rally around Andy Dalton or Jared ST Amour.
00:08:56
Philip Rivers, Whoever the hell is the quarterback for the Patriots? You know this season.
00:09:04
So maybe there's a possibility that there could be a real possibility that that was the Patriots entire m o.
00:09:13
We don't know.
00:09:14
Like I said, it's one of the most secretive organizations in the entire NFL, and I just don't see that kind of stuff coming.
00:09:21
But you got to admit, man, it's an interesting theory.
00:09:26
We all know Brady is set to enter free agency on March 18th.
00:09:32
Um, he could communicate with teams legally.
00:09:36
Ah, I think Starting March 16th and at 4 p.
00:09:39
m.
00:09:40
On March 18 teams could start signing the free agents stories that broke out last week.
00:09:44
If the Patriots are prepared to allow Tom Brady to explore free agency, you know, according to NFL, in that word, Robert Kraft and Brady agreed it be best for Tom Brady to explore free agency.
00:09:56
And then when he sees what's out there, if he feels like he wants to come home to the Patriots than he can again, this is gonna be the Patriots saying, Look, we wanted him back.
00:10:06
We said, Go see what's out there and then come home and Tom Brady chose not to come home.
00:10:10
Maybe that's what they're doing.
00:10:14
And you know what? A lot of people are predicting that a lot of teams are aggressively going to try to sign Brady, So it'll be interesting to see exactly how it goes down.
00:10:24
Do I believe that the Patriots are 100% done with Tom Brady ready to move on? Finished? Finito? I don't think so.
00:10:32
I think a Brady came back and said, Hey, man, I want to sign with the Patriots.
00:10:35
I don't think Tom Brady is going to come and say, No, I don't want to sign with you That's ludicrous.
00:10:40
That's That's a ludicrous thing to say, you know? And I mean, at the end of the day, we this kind of stuff is going to continue being talked about until March until Tom Brady signs or somebody that's when we're finally going to get some sort of ants or some sort of resolve when we're gonna finally kind of understand what the Patriots want to do.
00:11:07
So I mean, until then, like, screw it, man, let's just move on with our life.
00:11:12
And let's not just focus on Tom Brady.
00:11:15
Why don't we? Why don't we focus on all the needs of the Patriots have because if they just signed Brady, they're not gonna be a good team this year.
00:11:23
There are things that they have to address on their team.
00:11:25
It might to solve the patriots dot com.
00:11:27
I want to go through his article with you.
00:11:29
It's a great article.
00:11:30
He breaks down.
00:11:31
All of the Patriots roster.
00:11:33
Needs position by position.
00:11:37
Yeah, excuse me, He's identified eight of them.
00:11:43
It goes like this, he says.
00:11:44
With just over a month to go until free agency, the Patriots will begin in their Ducks in a row in the coming weeks, preparing to build their roster for the 2020 season.
00:11:54
Well, Tom Brady status is eclipsing just about everything else.
00:11:58
It would be easy to forget that the rest of the roster that will be left with significant holes once the new league starts.
00:12:05
Besides Brady, notable players like Joe Juni, Kyle Van Noy, Devin McCourty and Jamie Collins will all be looking for new deals.
00:12:13
Any potential departures would significantly alter the team and require either a corresponding move to fill the open spot of the depth chart or the expectation that a younger player make the leap and take on a larger role.
00:12:28
So let's count down the needs, how the Patriots could choose to fill them, whether it be a veteran free agent, a rookie draft pick or an in House candidates.
00:12:38
So does that looks at number eight on his uh, hate position lesson that special teams.
00:12:44
And he says, quote, there's not a lot to unpack with special teams this off season with Matthew Slater and Nate Abner both headed for free agency, while Stephen Gostkowski is coming off an injury and counting for more than $5 million against the cap.
00:13:00
A.
00:13:01
Landon Roberts and Chili Kun are two other players who are consistent teams, performers that will be looking for new contracts, adding in a middle ian punch and kick return performance in 2019.
00:13:12
And there's a lot of places the always special team cautious Patriots could look to improve in 2020 and it also comes as a team looks to replace special teams coordinator Joe Judge.
00:13:26
So he goes on to say how to fill the needs.
00:13:29
He says internal re signings and drought and draft With Justin Bethel in the mix, Jake Bailey coming off a fantastic rookie year and Brandon King expected to return from a season ending injury in the preseason.
00:13:42
There are some strong pieces in place that's later and Abner are more valuable to the Patriots and elsewhere and should be a manageable to resign.
00:13:51
Well, the team look for their next kicker in the draft.
00:13:55
That might be the most significant question facing the special teams.
00:13:58
End quote.
00:13:59
Now, look, we all know that Bill Belichick puts an absolute premium on special teams.
00:14:07
And we thought this year look how many punt blocks points that the special teams put up Jake Bailey's ability to flip the field.
00:14:18
You know, when I joke, sometimes the kickers aren't real football players, but we don't have to solid kickers.
00:14:22
It can hurt you.
00:14:23
We saw it in the wild card game in when Tennessee would punted that ball with whatever a minute left in the game and put the Patriots on their own one yard line.
00:14:32
I mean, that's what a good punter can do for you.
00:14:35
When you can flip the field like that, you take any hope that a team hasn't you take it away.
00:14:39
I do believe that the Patriots are gonna go find the new kicker in the draft this year.
00:14:43
I don't think they're gonna get one out of free agency.
00:14:45
I covered the kickers on a separate show that you can go and check out.
00:14:49
It's up on YouTube now.
00:14:52
Yeah, I don't believe that.
00:14:53
I don't believe I think Stephen Guesthouse is gone, you know, Look, for the most part, Kostovski, for most of his career to Patriots, has been a pretty reliable kicker.
00:15:00
He's been a guy that they could count on from time to time.
00:15:03
But after is since Bell 2015 we started to see a decline out of Stephen Gostkowski, and I know he was dealing with a hip injury before he went out, You know, on the i R last year, but we started seeing just Maura and Maur inconsistencies coming out of him and $5 million.
00:15:18
He's not living up to the Contract with $5 million kicker, and I think that it will be important that the Patriots move on now the seven now number seven on his list.
00:15:25
It's the offensive line, and it goes like this Joe tuning in Marshall Newhouse will hit free agency, and it's expected that to need to cash in elsewhere since the cap strapped Pat's already gave Shack Mason a sizable deal, Tooni would be a sizable loss.
00:15:41
But if there's one position that isn't a huge challenge to fill its probably Guard 2009 rookie cajoled four.
00:15:48
Holtz didn't look ready to step up and play last summer before going on injured reserve were Negi Toronto Ron Tauron, ready to step in and play last summer before going on injured reserve as well Air soy and returning from the practice squad.
00:16:05
Add some additional death I can't read today, guys.
00:16:07
Newhouse stepped into a tough situation, having to start multiple games at left tackle, but with solid is a swing back up in the third.
00:16:14
Tackle Marcus Cannon still has two years left on his deal.
00:16:19
While there are questions about where Isaiah win fits best and whether David Andrews can return really shocked Mason at right guard is the only thing set in stone at this point.
00:16:31
The best case scenario.
00:16:32
The team just needs to replace Tooni and Newhouse as the swing and swing back up the worst.
00:16:37
They decide to slide, win inside and cut Cannon, while Andrews is unable to return to the field, requiring three new tackles along with the new center.
00:16:47
How to fill the needs external free agency in the draft.
00:16:52
There should be a good chance to find a guard in the draft, possibly one who could step right in and start like to needed after being 1/3 round pick.
00:17:00
Building tackle depth should be a priority as well.
00:17:03
Those second year player Yonica Usti is intriguing by the draft.
00:17:07
The teams should have more clarity along the old line, and that's likely to be where they do most of their team building in that position.
00:17:15
Now, look, I've already talked about that.
00:17:16
I believe that the Patriots will use the draft to retool the offensive line and retool the tight end position.
00:17:22
I believe that's the best in the two.
00:17:23
But you know, the divan Andrew situation is interesting.
00:17:26
And one thing that we don't talk a lot about, or maybe we don't recognize, is that David Andrews his football career could be finished.
00:17:36
That's how scary this whole blood clotting in the lungs is.
00:17:39
And I don't you know, it's I'm not diminishing what anybody thinks about him, but he could be done playing football, and if he is, he is, and I'm not.
00:17:46
You know what I mean? Like being alive and being healthy is more important than playing football, like whether you're a patriot.
00:17:51
Whether you're Cleveland Brown, it doesn't matter.
00:17:55
But if he goes from a Patriot perspective, appear football perspective.
00:17:58
I mean, the Patriots gotta do n't.
00:18:00
I already said Ted Kerak.
00:18:01
Ted Caress is a ah, he come crashed Caress is a ah, free agent this year.
00:18:07
I mean, he did a great job, its center for the Patriots.
00:18:09
He had his moments, but for the most part, he did just fine.
00:18:13
And I think that it's gonna be super important that they rebuild this offensive line.
00:18:20
Now.
00:18:21
Number six on the list is wide receiver on.
00:18:24
Despite the drumbeat to get Brady new weapons, the team will return nearly all their top target from last season, including 2019 1st rounder knew Kiel.
00:18:34
Harry Philip, Door said, is the only free agent of that group.
00:18:38
Those targets weren't good enough last season, and while improvement from Harry Mohammad Sanu and second year receivers gonna Rochelle Ski and Jacoby Meyers should be expected, I didn't more dynamic receivers still seems like a must.
00:18:53
The approach to filling this depends on how heavily on Brady if he returns, his preference is for veterans, but those aren't the as cost effective as rookies, and the team has a limited money to spend.
00:19:06
This offseason, the 2020 draft class is stacked with all kinds of receiving talent.
00:19:12
So regardless of Brady grabbing one or two other seems imperative.
00:19:16
A SP specially an inside receiver who could take some heat off of Julian Edelman, who will be 30 for in May.
00:19:22
So how do the Patriots fill these needs? UH, he says that draft an external free agency expecting a splash signing like Amari Cooper or A J.
00:19:33
Green would be asking a lot as a team will likely have to focus on mid range free agents if they're going to give Brady his weapons.
00:19:41
Tapping in a couple of talented rookies Coming out of this draft would be good for the cap and better for the long term interest of the team.
00:19:49
But will that please? Brady? This need is heavily connected to the goats.
00:19:53
2020 status.
00:19:55
All right, look.
00:19:57
So I was talking with my boy Bobby on Twitter today, and it was about Greg Olson, and I know this isn't about Greg Olson.
00:20:03
We'll get to that when we get to the tight ends.
00:20:05
But we were just having a conversation about Greg Olson and I.
00:20:08
Basically, you guys know my opinion.
00:20:09
I talked about it twice now, and I'm not gonna get you having to it.
00:20:12
I don't think that Greg Olsen is the future.
00:20:14
The Patriots.
00:20:15
I don't think he's a good fit for the Patriots, and if it was up to me, I would not be moving forward with. Greg.
00:20:20
Wilson is our tight end.
00:20:21
He's 34 years old.
00:20:23
He's our 35 years old.
00:20:24
He's getting slow.
00:20:25
Where he's injury prone.
00:20:27
The Patriots need to look at getting younger.
00:20:29
But when you look at that mix of like, hey, man, we got to get Brady some weapons we gotta build for 2020.
00:20:33
This team is still competitive 100%.
00:20:36
This team is still competitive.
00:20:37
I'm not one of those people who believe that the Patriots aren't a competitive team anymore.
00:20:41
I'm not one of those people who believe you know that the best years are behind us.
00:20:46
We are still a good team, but it still needs to be addressed.
00:20:52
We still need to look at a couple of different things as we invest into the 2020 season.
00:20:57
We also need to invest are the Patriots also need to invest into the future Bill Ball check? Can't put all his eggs in one basket.
00:21:05
Say, OK, I'm just going for in 2020.
00:21:07
Then I'll start over because if that's the case, then we're gonna be waiting a long time for the Patriots to get back into contention again.
00:21:14
But if you can keep retooling the team and hit on some rookies, that it'll be big.
00:21:18
The Patriots, unfortunately, doesn't look like they hit big with Sony Michelle.
00:21:22
They may hit in the sense that he's probably gonna be reliable running back around the NFL for a long time.
00:21:27
But he's not Nick job.
00:21:29
He's not so Kwame Barkley.
00:21:30
He's not playing like a first round running back.
00:21:34
You know Nick Eel.
00:21:35
Harry, who was essentially where the pages are picking, is like a second rounder.
00:21:40
But he's a first round pick, and he wasn't playing like some of the other running some of the other wide receivers who came out of last year's draft who were drafted after him.
00:21:48
The Patriots need to hit on the rookies, but they need to build through the draft.
00:21:51
We need to build the offensive line We need to bring in young receivers.
00:21:55
Julian Edelman's gain.
00:21:56
Old Muhammad snooze.
00:21:57
Getting old.
00:21:58
We can't get to a place that these guys start retiring or moving on or whatever happens, and the Patriots have no way to replace them.
00:22:05
We saw that with Rob Gronkowski last year.
00:22:07
The Patriots had no plan to replace Crunk because they've always been focused on.
00:22:11
Let's go for it this season.
00:22:12
Go for this season every year it felt like they just kept going.
00:22:15
All in that. Some point.
00:22:17
You have to start making that distinction and building, and that's ties in perfect in the safety situation.
00:22:23
And it goes like this because Devin McCourty status as a free agent is surprisingly under under the radar.
00:22:29
He's been the glue on the back end of the defense for five Super Bowl appearances, and if he walks in free agency, the impact can't be understated.
00:22:39
The team wouldn't be dead in the water with three veteran safeties and Patrick Chung, Deron Harmon and a solid 2019 contributor, Terrence Brooks, capable of keeping the secondary together.
00:22:50
But even if McCord he returns, the position group is getting old and could use an injection of youth and skill.
00:22:57
Ah, Grant The Del pit of L s U and Egg Xavier McKinney of Alabama are popular mark mock first round draft picks and no diff lead is more of, um, more in the Chung mold and McKinney more in the McCord e.
00:23:10
Both would make a ton of sense, preventing the kind of turnover that left the Pats past defense high and dry in 2010.
00:23:20
In 2011 how do you feel the need draft an internal free agency? There are a lot of good prospects in the draft that fit both safety rules, ideally bringing back McCord and adding a rookie, too.
00:23:33
You know, apprentice with three veterans would be the best for the continuity of the future of the defense, while also giving the team some insurance that they didn't have last year when Chung was fighting injuries.
00:23:46
And again, this is the balance, right? This is the balance we were talking about.
00:23:50
How do you balance the Patriots? Immediate 2020 needs and balance the future needs, and this is really where we're gonna have to look at things.
00:23:59
And I mean, I don't think that the Patriots are gonna be like this crazy dynasty for the next 20 years.
00:24:05
You know what I mean? Like, I don't think that Hey, man, we're coming back.
00:24:10
You know what I mean? Um, you know, I don't think we're gonna come and we're gonna win 10 Super Bowls without Tom Brady in the next 10 years.
00:24:20
But we can still be a competitive team and we can still build and get younger.
00:24:26
If Belle Checkers goes out and gets a bunch of veteran players and just uses the draft of fixed the offensive line because that's the cheapest way to do it, then he's telling me that he's prepared to suck for a while.
00:24:37
That's all he's telling me because we have a good young core.
00:24:40
And the thing is, you could build up like a young safety core because you have such a good secondary with your corners.
00:24:46
You still got stuff on Gilmore, NFL defensive player of the year two time All Pro.
00:24:50
You know, you had J.
00:24:53
C.
00:24:54
Jackson, who's just developing into a great young kid.
00:24:57
We still have been seen exactly what we could get out of jail.
00:24:59
Juan Williams.
00:25:00
So there's still a lot of good stuff there, and I missed the one person I can think of right now, but and I know who it is.
00:25:11
You know who it is.
00:25:12
You're all gonna call me an idiot, but I can't think of the name right now.
00:25:15
I want to say, Air grow and I know it's not hair grow.
00:25:17
So what is gonna move on? But you guys get what I'm saying.
00:25:24
Number four's linebacker.
00:25:25
The linebacker is an interesting position that the Patriots need to look at, and the article goes like this.
00:25:30
The Patriots benefited from having to athletic and versatile linebackers and Kyle Van Noy and Jamie Count Collins, but both their due to hit free agency along with t******* role player Landon Roberts.
00:25:42
While the third starting linebacker, Dante Hightower, will turn 30 this year with a Monster 2020 schedule that will take the Patriots through the iron of the NFL, maintaining the level of athleticism and versatility is imperative to the defense.
00:25:56
Dwan Bentley could be a candidate for more significant roles. Atlanta Roberts.
00:26:01
It's free agency but failed the pop like he did in limited action as a rookie.
00:26:06
2018.
00:26:07
John Simon who played as both a defensive end and outside linebacker and chase win a *****, primarily used as designing pass rushers, had good years in 2019 but are either ready to be three down players.
00:26:21
This group, largely the find the impressive, started the defense got off last year, but by But Vanoy and Collins faded down the stretch.
00:26:30
Ah, symptomatic of the entire defense they tacked back to war.
00:26:34
Are they talk back towards the end? More odd front, sir, they tacked back towards more odd front.
00:26:40
In 2019 it seemed to follow.
00:26:42
Their players lead schematically.
00:26:44
But what comes first with the mostly blank slate is that's badly in need of young athletic talent.
00:26:49
If they can't restock the linebackers, will they return to even fronts and four man lines? Their personnel before the draft of free agency, seems more suited for that scheme.
00:27:01
So how do you feel? The needs, its draft, internal and external free agency length and athleticism on the edges inside the sideline range in the middle of the desired ads.
00:27:11
And while then noise seems headed off to greener pastures, Collins and Robert's remain question marks and could return.
00:27:19
Linebacker has been a long signature position of Bill Belichick's defense, and it would appear that this group is headed for a makeover in 2020 where no stone will be unturned.
00:27:29
End quote.
00:27:31
Listen, absolutely, I agree with that.
00:27:37
We all know I talked about it, and I'm gonna talk about a little in the second year called Illinois is done.
00:27:43
Maybe I'm not gonna talk about Van.
00:27:45
We already hit in half an hour market.
00:27:46
I still gotta go to the great eye on ramp, but Calvin always done.
00:27:49
We know that, Kyle, that noise done, he's going to go make big money.
00:27:52
He's already said he's got to take care of his family.
00:27:54
It is what it is.
00:27:56
I think the pages got to do what they can to get Jamie Collins.
00:28:00
I think the Patriots got to do it.
00:28:01
They can bring back Atlanta. Roberts.
00:28:04
You know, Jamie Collins was such a huge piece on the team this year, and I said that the Patriots needed a Jamie Collins ever since they traded away Jimmy Collins, J.
00:28:12
Jimmy, Jamie Collins.
00:28:14
We saw that in them.
00:28:15
We saw the whole that Jamie Collins left on this Patriots team, so I think going forward they have to continue.
00:28:23
They have to continue with that move.
00:28:24
They have to continue trying to get him on this team or find someone very athletic inside in the draft.
00:28:35
But again, with the linebacker corps being such an important piece to a balletic defense, and I mean, think about it for years, right? The Teddy Bruschi's With World, right? Uh, we need or we need.
00:28:50
I keep saying we like I have anything to do with the Patriots Offseason ballot.
00:28:54
Shack needs to address this in the draft.
00:28:58
Number three on the list is the tight end group.
00:29:03
I mean, I'm not even going to read what you said because it's God's gonna repeat a lot of stuff that I talked about.
00:29:09
The Patriots weren't prepared for Rob Gronkowski.
00:29:11
They lost out on Jared Cook because of Gronkowski indecision towards coming back.
00:29:17
We ended up with Ben Watson, Matt Lacoste and Ryan is Oh, they combined for 36 catches and two touchdowns on the season.
00:29:24
Most tight ends in the league surpassed what all three of our linebackers did together.
00:29:32
So it has to be addressed.
00:29:35
It has to be addressed in free agency.
00:29:36
It has to be a draft addressed in the draft.
00:29:39
I don't think you're good enough.
00:29:40
Just bringing in one and go over the cost.
00:29:41
Is your number two again? Ideally, Austin Hooper would be my pick.
00:29:47
Maybe a hunter.
00:29:48
Henry. I don't like his injury stuff.
00:29:50
Maybe a Tyler Eifert.
00:29:53
After that, you can start looking at the commits.
00:29:56
You could start looking at the Mosses, the Pinkney's those kind of guys coming out of the draft.
00:30:02
It's not a deep draft with tight end, but the tight end positions.
00:30:05
Also probably one of the least needed positions right now around the NFL, with a lot of teams pretty solid out there at that spot.
00:30:13
And I can see the patrons addressing that.
00:30:15
But getting a good, solid veteran, tight and free agent and a rookie primo make Matt Lacoste.
00:30:23
You're number three.
00:30:24
Move on from Ryan is Oh, and move on S So I'm gonna move on from that because we talked about the Titanic or a lot here, and I don't want to keep just repeating myself day after day Number two on the laces defensive line.
00:30:36
And I don't think the defensive line is getting a CZ much play as it probably should be.
00:30:42
I think because of Brady's contract status, because of the need and the want of wide receiver because of addressing the tight end situation, I don't think people realize how kind of you how are the Patriots offensive line is a house of cards right now, very similar to the way it was with the offensive line last year.
00:31:00
So I will go through this part of the article with you.
00:31:01
It goes with Danny.
00:31:03
Shelton is an unrestricted free agent and Adam Byler, who's a restricted free agent looking for new deals.
00:31:08
Two big pieces of the Patriots undermanned defensive front could possibly put the part both our candidates to return.
00:31:14
But the team would still need to add some more depth, especially to help stop the run.
00:31:19
With all the uncer*****y, a linebacker and defensive line, the team could reevaluate how they want to deal with a variety of offenses they'll face in 2020 from the unique Russian attack of the Ravens to the exposing passing attack of the Chiefs and everything in between.
00:31:34
Lauren's guys, an ideal player to build around, but after him, what should they looked ad a massive space eater like Shelton or more penetrators like Butler.
00:31:46
The defensive line has always been a key Super Bowl contention, and a new foundational player would be ideal.
00:31:53
How do they feel this? Need the draft? An internal free agency? Shelton took great strides in the second season, and he's still young.
00:32:02
With his experience in the system, he makes the most sense of the free agent market.
00:32:07
Unless the team is ready to spend significant money on someone like D.
00:32:11
J Reader, the team should be able to retain Butler on an R F A deal, or perhaps a long term deal that would make the most cap space.
00:32:20
That would leave just one or two spots to address in the draft.
00:32:23
Will Brian Court challenges Dietrich's Weiss for the rotational backup spot.
00:32:27
Making a splash in the draft on a big young interior player would be a great building block for the future for the defense.
00:32:34
I've already said that the Patriots best value that they had last year was Danny Sheldon, Danny Shelton, Danny Shelton, Waas.
00:32:54
All right.
00:32:55
Here is best way.
00:32:56
Danny Shelton, as a free agent, had as all the free agent defensive tackles right now behind D J.
00:33:01
Had the most tackles, the most quarterback hits and the most sacks.
00:33:04
Number two, I guess, behind everybody.
00:33:07
He really played like a $4 million tackle last year, and the Patriots were paying them $1 million.
00:33:14
So, I mean, if that's the case, if Bala check it, steal him again like a 1,000,005 or two million.
00:33:21
I would love to see Danny Shelton come back.
00:33:23
I don't see why we wouldn't be dealing with Danny Shelton.
00:33:30
I think a lot of us agreed after his first year, the Super Bowl winning year.
00:33:33
We didn't think Danny Shelton come back when the Patriots re signed him.
00:33:36
I kind of went okay.
00:33:38
Our defense is gonna be in trouble this year if this is the kind of guy that we gotta sign.
00:33:42
But Man Shelton put the working on the off season.
00:33:44
He came in looking slimmer, looking fitter, looking a little stronger.
00:33:48
You could see some muscle definition and man, his play really came off and I agree him already, knowing the Patriots system makes him the perfect candidate.
00:33:56
If they could bring back Danny Shelton and Adam Butler and try to bring in somebody from the draft and have cordoned or why says you're kind of backup role.
00:34:04
I would love to see that out of the Patriots this year.
00:34:06
I think would be their best move.
00:34:08
And, of course, he talks about here.
00:34:10
How the Patriots got address, the quarterback situation.
00:34:13
I cannot talk about the bloody quarterback situation anymore today.
00:34:18
I'm just done with it.

00:38:03
We like football.
00:38:04
We like football season and everything that goes with it.
00:38:09
So the NFL has restated Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett following his indefinite suspension.
00:38:16
The team announced on Wednesday Karen, of course, was suspended for the rest of the 2019 season after he ripped off Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback Mesa Rudolph's helmet hit him in the head.
00:38:28
Yeah, with near the end of the came of their Week 11 contests, It's just funny to think about.
00:38:36
The 24 year old was required to meet with Commissioner Roger Goodell prior to his reinstatement decision, and the meeting took place on Monday.
00:38:44
Garrett can now rejoin his team and participate in offseason workouts, which begin in April.
00:38:49
Quote.
00:38:50
We welcome miles back to the organization with open arms, Brown's general manager Andrew Berry Senate team statement.
00:38:57
We know he is grateful to be reinstated, eager to put the past behind them and continue to evolve and grow.
00:39:02
Is a leader.
00:39:04
We look forward to having his strong, positive presence back as a team, player and person in our community. End quote.
00:39:11
The Browns went two and four following the incident and missed the playoffs prior to Week 11.
00:39:16
Garrett was enjoying a 10 sacks season when is a leading candidate for the Defensive Player of the Year award.
00:39:22
His punishment now amounts to a six game suspension and a fine of $45,263.
00:39:30
The Browns and Steelers were also each fined $250,000 for the meal.
00:39:35
Eh? Pittsburgh centers.
00:39:38
More keys.
00:39:39
Pouncey was given a three game suspension.
00:39:41
Cleveland's defensive end.
00:39:42
Um, I'm not trying to say that name gonna butcher.
00:39:46
It drew one game Ban and Rudolph earned on Lee A. Fine.
00:39:50
So that was the report that came out today.
00:39:52
Let me just tell you this, and I'm not a hater.
00:39:56
I'm not a hater about anybody.
00:39:57
I don't I don't I don't hate Myles Garrett.
00:39:59
I don't hate the Pittsburgh, so I do hate the Pittsburgh Steelers.
00:40:02
But, um, I don't hate people, though.
00:40:05
I don't wish bad things on people, But doesn't Mesa route off? Just have a punch able face, like when you look at him, don't you just want to punch him? And I get that He's a superior athlete.
00:40:17
I made some.
00:40:18
Rudolph would probably kick my ass all over the city of Toronto if we fought, So it's not like I'm saying I'm tougher than him.
00:40:24
I'm just saying he's got a face that you gotta punch and let's also not forget.
00:40:32
Didn't he hoof Myles Garrett in the nuts during that whole interaction to like that was just a crazy melee.
00:40:41
I mean, Pittsburgh Steelers.
00:40:44
I can remember who was winning the game.
00:40:45
I just remember Mesa Rudolph kicking like a little punk like a little You don't know the word kicking like a little punk.
00:40:56
I could not believe the reaction from people after.
00:41:00
Now the majority of my little Twitter, my little ****s.
00:41:03
A little majority of my twiddle twiddle the majority of my Twitter followers of Patriot fans, right? So I I used to get things from a Patriots perspective and, um, I couldn't believe the reaction to like people.
00:41:20
Myles Garrett is a thug.
00:41:22
Myles Garrett is a thug.
00:41:24
Now you can see him another thug in the NFL.
00:41:27
And I was like, Man, Myles Garrett is actually not a thug. Miles Gary.
00:41:32
It's actually a really, really smart guy who obviously lost his cool in a situation.
00:41:37
Do I sit here and condone and say, Hey, man, hit him in the head with a helmet? Absolutely not.
00:41:43
Device.
00:41:44
They defend yourself after little punk spikes you in the balls. Absolutely.
00:41:47
You're going to defend yourself man.
00:41:49
Why wouldn't you defend yourself? But only mild? Garrett's a punk.
00:41:55
I know I've seen worse stuff in the league than a little little It was a little love tap to the house.
00:41:59
Mason Rudolph is fine, and everyone's like, Oh, you know, Rudolph did nothing to deserve that while Rudolph, when I got fined, if you didn't deserve it because he instigated the whole thing, he got sacked.
00:42:10
He was playing like crap.
00:42:13
He was about to lose his starting job, and he got all punky.
00:42:19
Any hoof he held on to Garrett, who put him in the balls and Garrett took care of business.
00:42:24
Do you think Mild Garrett's reaction to that is because of something normal? Because Mason Rudolph came up to him and said, Oh, hi, Garrett.
00:42:30
You look nice today, you know? And what's funny is when the whole incident happened, when Miles Gary came and hit Rudolph in the head like Rudolph engaged with him after two of his offensive linemen were already like trying to hold Myles Garrett and then Mason, Rudolph came in and started screaming and talking crap like, you know what, tough guy? Just go Go sit over there I mean, I'd be more truthfully if I had to fight somebody on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
00:42:55
I'd probably rather fight the punter, then fight Mason, Rudolph or the I'd rather fight Mason Rudolph and fight the punter.
00:43:04
I think the punters probably a little tougher.
00:43:05
The Mason Rudolph Ah, he showed that with his kicking and hiding behind his his linemen.
00:43:13
And I'm not just saying this because I hate the Pittsburgh Steelers.
00:43:15
I'm just saying this because I thought I think this whole situation was blown out of proportion.
00:43:20
Yeah, I was crazy.
00:43:21
You know, Um, it always seems that Joe Buck is calling a game when this kind of crap goes down, and I never He's just like I've never seen anything like that.
00:43:29
Oh, I can't believe this is happening and all.
00:43:31
Myles Garrett. He needs to be suspended.
00:43:33
I mean, that's also when when Randy Moss faked the moon, that Joe Buck was like, That's disgusting.
00:43:39
That's that's what a pathetic display on a field like man, you know, a man like, First of all, my Randy Moss didn't drop his drawers or nothin to the crowd.
00:43:53
He just he faked the moon.
00:43:55
Miles Garrity gave Mason. Rudolph.
00:43:57
A little top on the helmet.
00:43:58
Man, this is football.
00:43:59
Football is a contact game.
00:44:02
You know what, people? The thing is, here's the thing.
00:44:04
I'm gonna go on my soapbox for a second, if you would allow me.
00:44:07
Here's the thing.
00:44:10
People like to pretend to be mad.
00:44:13
People like the fake outrage.
00:44:16
Would I be ****ed if Myles Garrett hit Tom Brady in the head with a helmet last season? Of course I would.
00:44:23
The only people that should have been mad, our Pittsburgh Steeler fans, everybody else that was, You know, I could not believe the reaction.
00:44:33
Why you want.
00:44:34
First of all, don't tell me you cared that much. I know.
00:44:37
I know.
00:44:38
You didn't care that much.
00:44:41
I mean, we're talking about it.
00:44:42
I work the next day.
00:44:43
We're all like, man, it was crazy.
00:44:46
We watched it really go. Oh, my God.
00:44:48
And then we just, like, moved on with their lives.
00:44:50
But the reaction on Twitter man Twitter brings out reactions in people.
00:44:55
And it's fake because everybody else is mad.
00:44:57
I better be mad too, you know.
00:45:04
Relax.
00:45:06
You know, when I got mad, I got mad.
00:45:07
When? When want a perfect hit.
00:45:10
Antonio Brown in the head for no reason.
00:45:14
I got mad when the nominee and Sue stomped on a player it takes I get more mad when guys are dancing in the end zone.
00:45:23
Uh, after they score a touchdown on the Patriots.
00:45:26
And I was about Myles Garrett hitting punishable Mason Rudolph with his helmet.
00:45:36
And I'm so passionate about this when everything I've just said, I've just de monetized my YouTube video.
00:45:41
They're not gonna let me monetize this.
00:45:44
I guarantee that right now I said that Mason Rudolph has a punishable looking face.
00:45:48
I'd be surprised if I don't get it.
00:45:49
I don't got a strike against me.
00:45:52
That's how passionate I am against us right now.
00:45:54
Thank God for SportsCastr, though, who just lets me say whatever the I want.
00:46:02
Anyways, I've spent more time talking about this, and I ever intended to.
00:46:10
The gridiron rant is getting too long.
00:46:13
It's supposed to be a quick little fun thing at the end of my show every day to show that I know more than just the New England Patriots.
00:46:18
But here I am.
00:46:20
Let's move on, man.
00:46:21
The Carolina Panthers.
00:46:22
They want clarity on Cam Newton's health before they just start deciding on their future.
00:46:28
What does that mean? Here's what it means.
00:46:30
Carolina Panthers owner David Temper suggested Tuesday the Cam Newton's health will determine whether the trip franchise moves forward with him at quarterback.
00:46:41
Quote.
00:46:42
Listen, I'm not a doctor, Tepper said, according to Steve Reed of The Associated Press.
00:46:47
I said it a 1,000,000 times.
00:46:49
Is he healthy? He's not a doctor, so there is a lot of different things that could happen.
00:46:55
Tell me that.
00:46:56
And then we can talk.
00:46:58
End quote injuries after I just completely blanked out.
00:47:06
Their injuries have derailed Newton's last two seasons.
00:47:10
He was limited to just two games in 2019 2 to a foot issue.
00:47:15
He underwent surgery December 11th and failed rehabilitation.
00:47:19
That's failed rehabilitation that spanned multiple months.
00:47:23
The overwhelming number.
00:47:25
One thing is to see how healthy he is and how he can figure out when he's healthy or not.
00:47:31
Tape ratted.
00:47:32
Everything comes from that.
00:47:35
Newton, who will turn 31 in May, has one season left on his contracts.
00:47:39
The Patriots or the painters.
00:47:40
The Panthers could save $19 million against a salary cap by trading or releasing him, however, tempers that Carolina hasn't fielded any trade enquiries for Newton before Super Bowl 54.
00:47:54
Newton said he absolutely expects to return to the Panthers in 2020 and left a meeting with temper and new head coach Matt Rhule. Feeling inspired.
00:48:04
Noone was drafted first overall in 2011 and was named the league MVP and 2015.
00:48:10
Listen, if I, I am the general manager of the Carolina Panthers, if I am the owner, whatever it is, I do not feel comfortable at all moving on from Cam Newton until the day he is permanently in a wheelchair.
00:48:31
I understand that he's had injury issues.
00:48:35
I understand he's also been treated differently in the NFL.
00:48:38
Let's face it, there's been racism against Cam Newton.
00:48:41
They've let them beat the hell out of him without the calls.
00:48:44
And now we're starting to see some of the some of the results.
00:48:47
I know that people are going to say he set himself up for it.
00:48:50
Absolutely not.
00:48:51
Look at the calls that Patrick Mahomes it started getting.
00:48:55
Look at the calls of Lamar Jackson gets.
00:48:57
Look at the calls up.
00:48:58
Brady gets Cam Newton does not get protected by the referees like other quarterbacks do.
00:49:04
Cam Newton know also has a big mouth, so I get it.
00:49:07
He almost reminds me.
00:49:11
He almost reminds me of like the P K.
00:49:18
He's like the Peak, a Superman of the NFL.
00:49:21
You know, as much as Superman can be as much as Superman can be, you know, combative and bring things on himself.
00:49:31
You know, there's also be street a little bit differently, but I just if I'm Carolina man, I can't do it.
00:49:40
How do you get the worst case scenario? I'm getting a comment from my boy Bobby over here on Sports Caster right now because you know, he's one of the only owner circles and want to show up.
00:49:49
And he's saying Man, like maybe even cover the dark side, the dark side obviously meaning the Patriots.
00:49:53
And I'm sitting there going like, Would that not be Carolina's worst nightmare? He comes to New England, wins the Super Bowl, and they're sitting there going like, Oh my God, we release this guy or we traded him away, or whatever it may be like.
00:50:10
That's right.
00:50:11
I mean, that's a serious thing.
00:50:12
Like I beach I'd be crapping my you know what the d monetize my menu already.
00:50:17
Anyways, I'd be ****ting my pants if I was.
00:50:21
If I was Carolina, I couldn't do it.
00:50:26
Cam Newton has so much talent.
00:50:31
And, man, if this guy can get past his injuries like he could do a lot of good things, I also win.
00:50:39
I would not put it past noon not to take her to take a pay cut next to stay with Carolina if you could start building things around him and go ahead.
00:50:49
But it's to me. I couldn't do it.
00:50:52
I could not move on from the guy.
00:50:54
It's, you know, he's not 43 years old.
00:50:56
I'm comfortable with the Patriots.
00:50:58
Move on from Tom Brady's gonna be 43 at the end of the season like there's a good possibility that he's gonna have to start using like, Um, what is the Hare Club for manner to the men's hair stuff? You know, Tom Brady is an old man like I'm getting fat and old, not a shape.
00:51:17
Tom Brady is 10 years older than me.
00:51:23
The Brady's almost at the point.
00:51:25
Now he's probably Tom Brady is probably getting Bo talks, you know, like that's probably where he is now.
00:51:32
I mean, he's the guy's way too good looking for 43 years old.
00:51:35
No bags, no wrinkles.
00:51:38
He's getting shots, man.
00:51:39
Trust me, he's getting shots.
00:51:45
That's why he's a Patriot fan.
00:51:47
I'm okay if the Patriots move on from him because he's old and they can replace, you know, they've got to try to get young.
00:51:53
I know I've been showing it out a lot, but you check out my boy.
00:51:55
Tyson's be over a masterwork.
00:51:57
He lays out why the Patriots should move on from Tom Brady, and he's not catching as much heat for it as I thought he was.
00:52:04
I think a lot of Patriot fans were all kind of on the same page.
00:52:06
Now, if Brady comes back in time and not be cool, but I'm okay if it's time to move on, you know, I think everybody here on SportsCastr.
00:52:17
We're on the same page, man.
00:52:18
Yet we love Tom Brady, but we're Patriots fans.
00:52:21
I'm not ready to give up on Cam Newton yet.
00:52:23
If I'm the Panthers and I would gladly gladly give Cam Newton a shot with the Patriots if you wanted to come over but doesn't work, it doesn't work, you know? So the Panthers can wait to see if he's healthy.
00:52:40
What? They're gonna do what they want.
00:52:41
If I'm new, man, I'm again.
00:52:42
I'm sticking with it till the guy can't play football anymore because I would hate to see him walk away.
00:52:48
And that's what happens.
00:52:51
All right? I don't really want to do this.
00:52:55
Giant report.
00:52:57
There's not a Giants fan waiting for me to do this because I don't really want to do it.
00:53:02
I giving you 16 minutes of the gridiron rants.
00:53:06
I've been on my show for 53 minutes.
00:53:08

00:53:13

00:53:19

00:53:23

00:54:59
I had this cold, like, five days like today.
00:55:01
Like the first day that I wasn't hacking throughout the whole friggin show or holding in a cough as I was re watching one of my videos the other night with my wife.
00:55:10
And I just I tried that.
00:55:11
I like to get her feedback sometimes.
00:55:13
Not by what I'm saying is she's know what the hell I'm talking about.
00:55:15
But just, you know, one of my facial reaction stuff looked like and you could see rides like Holy now, holding costs.
00:55:19
Just hold him like I was like, I was making notes, going like Okay, cough idiot.
00:55:23
Don't keep hold it in.
00:55:24
Just like I was constipated sitting here trying to hold in my column.
00:55:27
And I wanted thio like, you know, this is the high quality content that you're gonna get on, SportsCastr Man, this is exactly what we do here.
00:55:37

00:55:40
Men like, I swear to God the guy neck who discovered me.
00:55:44
And like, he's keeping me on and letting me write for them.
00:55:46
And then we talk like he must sit there and watch my **** and be like, Oh, my God, I cannot believe we pay this guy to do this because I can't believe they do.
00:55:56
I think they're ridiculous for doing it.

00:56:24
You know, I love SportsCastr because it just pumps my ego up.
00:56:26

00:56:30
Ah, lot of big opinions on on YouTube and ah, I love Koran SportsCastr because people are so nice and I'm live.
00:56:37
So the people who want to **** on me don't really do it.
00:56:40
Because even if you are my live streams on YouTube, like, not a lot of trolls come on there because they know that I can address them directly.
00:56:47
Um, I don't know why.
00:56:48
Because I'm the worst that doing that.
00:56:50
Like I'm the worst smack talker in the world.
00:56:52
I need, like, a block in, like, three days to figure it out.
00:56:54
And will he shows up just as I'm saying goodbye, William.
00:57:04
It's too bad.
00:57:07
And ah, yeah, Super chats and get you straight.
00:57:12
I don't get that much money through the super chats.
00:57:15
It's ah, it's It's not worth it to me.
00:57:22
I know, man.
00:57:23
You know what? And I still do not know why I do YouTube and it has nothing to do with that One note.
00:57:29
It has something to do with the money.
00:57:31
But I shouldn't I'm not gonna bull**** you.
00:57:33
It's like 90% of it has to do with the money.
00:57:36
Otherwise, but the ah, the other, like 10% of me would probably never wanna walk away because, Troy, I got my start man.
00:57:46
Without YouTube, I would never have been discovered by SportsCastr.
00:57:49
You know, I never would have been writing for techno whole, Like my start came on YouTube.
00:57:53
And I appreciate that fan base because a lot of ah lot of my my core fan base has been with me since, Like the beginning.
00:57:59
Mark is being one of them.
00:58:01
But, you know, this kid should make chicken vlog and and just, um, taxi Cuba.
00:58:06
And, you know, like, whatever, man, it's, um it's ah, you know, they're good crewman, but it just grew into this hole toxic bull**** environment.
00:58:21
And, you know, my hopes is a SportsCastr.
00:58:24
Never turned to that.
00:58:25
I think is it grows.
00:58:26
It could become a little bit of that.
00:58:27
But people are very different.
00:58:29
When when I'm when you're live and I don't know, maybe I'll start doing dear fascination, simulcast ID, You know, I can do that.
00:58:35
And, um, you know, I I guess I could go along that way.
00:58:39
Maybe some people will throw down some super chap, but, uh, good.
00:58:44
All right, well, I appreciate that, brother.
00:58:46
I appreciate it.
00:58:49
You need trolls any life.
00:58:50
I don't need trolls, but I got enough trolls in my life, Bobby Trust in my life.
00:58:56
I don't need no trolls in my life.
00:58:58
You gotta get enough on Twitter, man, and it's Funnycause Twitter's air really toxic environment.
00:59:03
But it's a different toxic.
00:59:05
Um, I think it's the character limit and you know you can't be.
00:59:10
I don't know.
00:59:11
I siphoned through.
00:59:12
I read every comment that I got, and every once in a while I hit like a like a response or put a lot of blood and especially to some of my like, you know, my loyal fan base, the ones and the real reason I stay on YouTube beyond the money used for them.
00:59:24
Um, but it's also like, um, it's just like you go through, shaped like, you know, it's funny.
00:59:31
It's like this, right, because I had this young kid asking He wanted to start a YouTube page and he was like, Man, how do you started? You dig? You know, what's the best advice you give me about starting you to page like Man, I'm like, Here's my three and it's for everybody.
00:59:41
Want started you to page.
00:59:42
Here's Here's My best advice. Number one.
00:59:44
Pump oh content pump out content as much as you can.
00:59:48
Um, make sure it's quality.
00:59:51
Make sure it's good.
00:59:52
Make sure it's authentically you.
00:59:54
Um, if you don't know nothing about horses, don't go out and start talking about horses.
00:59:57
You know, I mean, um, be prepared for a slow grow and have the thickest skin in the world because people are gonna say things to you.
01:00:06
That's just like, this is mean, right? It is funny, because comments don't.
01:00:12
I used to take things personally, Like when I first start on YouTube like our you're never sat on my face.
01:00:16
You know, when I get a lift, Um, after you've been called, like you fat piece of **** 150 times, you just like it just becomes like white noise.
01:00:24
Don't I mean, um, Or when you really being called an idiot and you're told you know nothing about football? It just becomes all white noise to You don't really pay attention to that kind of stuff anymore.
01:00:32
But, um, every once in a while, every once in a while, I'll read a comment and I'll be like Mother, You never would say that to my face.
01:00:52
And I just want to slap that person that said, I don't wanna fight him.
01:00:54
I just want read across.
01:00:58
So when's that raised highlight video dropping like from my days.
01:01:04
Like from number 64 from my lifeguard days or a man.
01:01:16
You know what I am? Oh, my past moments, I was gonna I want the honest truth.
01:01:22
I was going to do that at New Year's today.
01:01:24
I was gonna pick all the best moments, like back too late.
01:01:28
Don't forget, man.
01:01:29
I was on YouTube when they won the Super Bowls like him up go and was gonna I was actually pull stuff on.
01:01:34
SportsCastr.
01:01:35
Does a lot of my best moments come fromthe live play by play? You know, I mean, like, that's a lot of my best moments, but I'm gonna get angry like my best moments, Aren't they? Like the happy, like, cheering stuff? It's the angry stuff when I just like every day, um, I just ran at a time.
01:01:51
I just flat out ran out of time to do it.
01:01:54
So you know what the anniversary of my YouTube channel is in June of this year? Maybe on my anniversary day, I will do the best of Ray.
01:02:10
That's what I'll do.
01:02:17
Yeah.
01:02:18

00:53:08
Now it's time to say goodbye and I know YouTube.
00:53:13
You're sitting there going like know you've only been on for 16 minutes and 39 seconds.
00:53:17
No, go over the SportsCastr.
00:53:18
Watch the whole show, man.
00:53:19
I've been on for 53 minutes of 16 seconds.
00:53:23
Bobby and Marcus holding down the holding down the Fort Man inner circle rhinos on heart of this season.
00:53:31
There's something right now.
00:53:32
I don't know what their higher harvesting in Australia, but he can't make it out.
00:53:35
Joe comes and goes.
00:53:38
Couple other people to stop showing up, Man.
00:53:43

00:55:57

00:56:24
You know, I love SportsCastr because it just pumps my ego up.

00:56:40
Because even if you are my live streams on YouTube, like, not a lot of trolls come on there because they know that I can address them directly.
00:56:47
Um, I don't know why.
00:56:48
Because I'm the worst that doing that.
00:56:50
Like I'm the worst smack talker in the world.

I need, like, a block in, like, three days to figure it out.
00:56:54
And will he shows up just as I'm saying goodbye, William.
00:57:04

01:01:29

01:02:17
Yeah.
01:02:18
Oh, yeah.
01:02:19
Oh, I have some of those I put I put those on Facebook like when I called the Lacoste touchdown.
01:02:26
When I said, This looks like a play action in the throat of the cost And I started bragging about myself.
01:02:32
I put that my mother was so upset.
01:02:35
I look, a sight brags, right? And Ray calls, Oh, God.
01:02:44
And it's funny because that arrogance people think that that's like a game.
01:02:49
Like people think like, Oh, I love your stick And you're like, you know, you act really air again, like you're really smart and I'm just like, man, if you don't know me, you don't know who I am.
01:03:00
Um, that's me in real life, you know? I mean, like I am.
01:03:03
That guy will turn around me like I'm a ****ing genius.
01:03:06
If I say something to something smart, that's why I think people.
01:03:10

01:03:28
