and we are right back in here in the second half underway Brooklyn and hosted in Toronto Raptors with that 12.
52 to 40 Lee coming out of halftime.
Three possessions have gone by here, including a forced turnover for the Brooklyn Nets.
However, they have been unable to convert on the offensive end.
Van Fleet throws this one out of bounds.
So another turnover for Toronto and the Nets will look to get themselves back underway.
As we said, a strong showing for them in the first half, looking to carry over that same level of focus here in the second.
We, of course, will be welcoming you all back into the live broadcast, as we said, just stepping away at halftime and then rejoining the second half of action.
So hopefully, as I looked to get myself geared up here again, we get everyone ****d back in on the second feed and look to carry over more positive Brooklyn Nets basketball.
Avert gets the feed over to Joe Harris, fakes on the three, then drives down and hands off.
So lover, now just four to shoot Van Fleet on his hip, he's gonna have to work crosses over, goes baseline into the lane.
And it looks like they're going to call that shot clock violation so little bit of stagnant on the offense here.
That's a nice ball movement from the Brooklyn Nets and yet just unable to get that going early enough.
So this is Toronto dialing up some of that defensive pressure, looking to get themselves back in this game, not only through their offensive play have you seen a couple of turnovers but also on the defensive and van fleet off the Kyle Lowry feed no good from the corner on his three.
So here under tend to play already in the second half.
Neither team yet to score cares.
The vert works in the lane, gets held off, thereby to manages through three defenders to get outside the Tory on prints and reset over dispenser Gym buddy.
He kicks outside, cares lover fakes on the three resets its feet over to dimwit.
He who hoists and cannot connect from the outside, looking to get myself excited there.
Early on in the third quarter, as Spencer Dinwiddie fired that one from a good four feet beyond the arc, there had too late in the shot clock.
Here's a similar thing We've seen SIAC, um, working down into the lane against Tori on prints here.
He elects to go back out top to Ibaka mrs on the three ball weak side rebound gathered by Prince and Spencer.
When he gets up into the offense, uses the Alan screen, gets it over to Tory on Prince.
Follows it up, too.
You cannot hit fromthe wing on his three point attempts, and we now still at the nine minute mark.
Three minutes gone by, and it will be almost turned that one over and in fact will as that ball goes into the backcourt and will be did not have that tipped away.
Kyle Lowry ends up over the half court line.
So another turnover here early for Toronto in the third quarter.
Nets trying to play that pesky defense and that one narrowly rolls across.
And they're saying that Ah, no foul on it there.
That's what lot Lowry was looking for.
Instead, another turnover here as a Spencer Dane.
When he gets things going for the Nets on the offensive end, hands off to Joe Harris, fakes on the three gets inside of the foul line and cans that jumper.
So a good job here from Joe Harris has that 13 bowl there in the first half, but has worked inside and is used that mid range game over this last handful of ah contest here for Brooklyn to make sure that keeping himself involved on the offense event Ibaka finds a little jump hook there.
So one good bucket deserves the other, and both teams finally get here onto the scorecard in the 3rd 54 32 Nets, still maintaining that 12 point lead up and over a great job by Spencer Gemini Driving, bringing Ibaka out to him.
He then has the fre Oh, on the free lane to the bucket, and it ends up being Kyle Lowry, who commits the foul.
And you could see he looks over with a little bit of frustration.
You cannot leave Jared Allen free down the lane if it's only going to be myself at his Kyle Lowry trying to defend against him.
Unable to convert on the three point play is, uh, Jared Allen there, but still a 56 42 advantage.
Now send it out to 14 points as we come up on eight to play here in the third quarter.
Ibaka off the wing.
Alan defending Ibaka is good, so he now has all four points.
Toronto in this quarter, quickly up the court before pulling back out from Caris Levert dispenser Jim, when he has Ibaka against them, goes downloaded chair and Allen picks up a foul and one the pro.
Taking that feed from Spencer Dinwiddie as demon, he has now picked up two assists off the court and put him in his pocket, doing a great job facilitating and finding his big rolling to the basket off the screen again.
Mismatch against Van Fleet.
And this is the thing that we talked about.
If you're Jared Allen, you have to reward Spencer Dinwiddie for finding you by getting to the bucket, knocking it down, taking the foul and then on this trip, converting for the and one opportunity nets.
Now out to that 59 44 15 point lead here in the first ****.
What you trying to find her top of the Ibaka screen, he'll get called for the foul that is his third, So the Ah, Nets will just have to keep an eye on him the rest of the way here in the third quarter.
Make sure he doesn't get into any quick foul trouble here, as he just tried to come over the top of Ibaka and then really got caught up on the hip of Lowry, who, as a veteran again waited for him and let him kind of get his body into him, didn't have anywhere to go and called on the foul side out.
Brings it back over here and it will be.
Gets it into Kyle Ari.
Bounce pass to Ibaka.
He has the two buckets here for Toronto in the third quarter.
Goes to work against.
Out on the interior.
Can't get it to go.
Nice defense recovers his own miss, though.
Spencer did when he tried to assist, and Ibaka now has six points here, all points for Toronto.
In the third, Spencer Dinwiddie once again gets this mismatch with Ibaka defending against them out there on the printer kicks over to cares Levert, with Van Fleet now size advantage for for Caris Levert.
He's held everyone to move away and then flashes a downloaded Torrey on prints on a nice little beat past.
Fowler's picked up there, and Tori on Prince will now go to the line shooting, too.
Three quick fouls on Toronto's to keep an eye on that with 7 16 mark.
And already Toronto was committed.
A few turnovers start this quarter.
Now they've given it a few foul, so the Nets could find themselves with a lot of opportunities early in the bonus story on Prince Good on the first.
And this is what they need to do.
Which is, of course, make Toronto pay for those fouls by getting to the line and knocking down with constancy.
Story on prints.
Lines up that second opportunity rattling off it out.
So in this quarter now with Jared Allen there he has gone one of two princes gone one of two.
Ah, so you're talking about being two of four here.
Just need to make sure if you're going to get those foul calls you need to convert down low here.
Broken up by Spencer dimly trying to bring outside but still gets into the hands of see ya.
Come over to Van Fleet late in the shot clock he goes front rim Caris.
Levert will pick up that long rebound in the lane and now slowly bring it up the court and get the nets back into their offensive set kick from avert Dettori on Prince fires to the corner for Spencer did when he back out Satori on Prince roving around on the outside over to Caris.
Levert with 10 to shoot Has Ibaka on um the vodka caught back on its heels over.
It has to attack.
He does tries to scoop up inside Nice recovery from the box On the defense event he will avoid the bucket bear And now here unfortunately, if you are Ah, that's Siachen breaking out of curatorial on Prince You cannot take this foul here.
It was a nice job.
I'll avert and then with and it will be there waiting Ibaka is able to recover.
And then it is Siachen breaking out.
And if you are Tori on Prince, that is just a weak sauce foul there.
You need to do a better job.
If you're going to foul him, you gotta Fallon and wrap up his arms.
Don't let him get up to the hoop because now you're giving an M one opportunity right back to them in what is now back to a 12 point game and obviously can get down to 11 starting line for the floor right now.
Obviously, back to the original SIAC Amanda will be Ibaka, Lowry and Van Fleet.
Right now, Ibaka represents the team high 14 points, six of 92 of three from beyond the arc. Seven rebounds.
So he's in a really nice job of balancing is inside outside game.
Ah, you know, Siachen took a while to get going here, but since then has picked it up.
Five of 12 gone on the interior, a lot taken on Tori on prints.
It's not a knock on Prince.
He's outsized, Probably outweighed by 15 or £20.
They're on and is going to the hoop with a lot of fluidity.
Now here you see, you get that foul call and the and one opportunity as well.
Five rebounds to assist for See ya, come on his line.
Hi, There is the eight for Larry with the assist column.
Van Fleet will just three of 91 of four from beyond the arc, two rebounds and assists, seven points relatively quiet game for him and for Larry to this point.
So the Nets kind of maybe a little bit picking that poison.
We said in the first half Siachen getting down low into the block, taking Tori on prints on to a certain extent, rather than calling over that help defense and allowing some of those perimeter shooters to get easy, wide open looks the Nets were saying, we're gonna live with it if Siachen is gonna go on the low block.
If Ibaka is gonna come down into the lane, will live with this middle range in two point game that they want to go by because on the other end, we think that one we can get on the interior when we really need Thio and also through our ball movement and working around the perimeter.
We've been able to give ourselves some nice looks from the outside and at the end of the day, that's what the Nets.
I think you're gonna hang their hat on that combination of surrendering the two point mid range and in towards the bucket game and then capitalizing on the outside themselves, on the court for the Nets, right now starting lineup.
A Prince Harris, Alan Dignity and Levert.
We talk about a team high.
Harrison revert both with 12 Allen with 10 now already 13 rebounds.
So he's wrapped up his double double nine assists on the game so far for Spencer.
Dimly, the entrepreneur goes into his bag for the assist.
Tricks he's gone to of eight from the floor still has six points.
So on the evening and as we highlighted in that last match up, obviously there's opportunities for him to turn it on.
Pick up a head of steam and say, I'm gonna get downhill against you.
I'm gonna go ahead and force that issues in the in the third and fourth quarter, potentially especially late in the fourth quarters.
Get a head of steam, make you found me, Go to the line, knocked down my free throws and give my team the opportunity to close a game out that now you've been leading for much of the back end of that second quarter and now going into the third year, so you want to continue to maintain this 10 point range of a lead to make sure that Toronto feels like they're always going to have to do a combination off, getting a handful of stops and converting on the offensive end.
Attack the Nets.
At times, I've had to do themselves and find it difficult.
Go back to the last matchup, right, 30 to 19 to surge back into it.
But time you're there to make that play.
You maybe don't have the legs to get it done.
Jo Hair is with a beautiful run through the lane there, off the feed from Jared down.
Start at the top of the key slaves around two defenders and got that one up in an off class with ease 60 to 49 as we hit the midway point of the third quarter and Joe, where's continues to be effective on the interior fly by from Jared Allen on Ibaka, He waits and throws.
The three can't get it to go, though.
Tapped out by and woe be and it will be.
See, Aacm gets it over to Larry, and he is able to connect from the perimeter.
So right back to a 10 point game here, 50 to 62 in favor of the Brooklyn Nets.
Spencer doing what he has done.
Fleet out front flakes on the Allen screen now feeds cross court to touring on Prince Extra Bullet to the corner.
Garrett Temple cannot get it.
See, aacm holds off Jared Allen for that rebound and back the other way.
We come in a 10 point game.
Lowry almost travels, but gives it up too.
Ibaka gets it right back.
Harris defending on the perimeter.
It is now Tori on prints trying to deny Ibaka the down low on that post will reset the lives here for you momentarily assist there from Temple Out feeds to Siachen.
You can't get the runner to go.
And ultimately this one's gonna come loose ball out to Spencer.
**** lady, who will bring up in the front court Doesn't look too aggressive.
Here is he waits for his teammates to join him and now has and it will be defending against them.
Switch off here.
Ibaka picks him up on the perimeter again.
Feels like a good matchup.
And did what He will back him down and step into that three.
And there is the foul.
So this is what I was saying there as we were heading into that shot.
Excuse me as I lose my notes for a moment.
But this is that kind of set up here where Damon he's gotten this switch time and time again, and you can really see Ibaka hanging back on his heels, understand that he wants to.
If then, when he wants to try to fly by and go to the basket, it would be on his hip and used his length and size even from behind, as we saw against Caris Levert to go to deflect some of the shots out of bounds.
Instead here, a quick found picked up there.
And, oh, by the way, at the 4 49 mark, the Brooklyn Nets will find themselves in the bonus for the remainder of the third quarter There.
So again, this is where the nets need to excel.
Is the highlight some beautiful Rastafarian colored sneakers on Spencer? Dimly, I did not notice.
It's got beautiful yellow souls, the red bases with a black yellow lace ups and then the green tongues. Those air. Just a delight.
Friends check him out online if you get an opportunity.
When he knocks down the first of three free throws here, he will have two more coming.
That marks the second and third free throws there.
So 64 60 to a 12 point lead here for Brooklyn, as they had continued to hold that double digit lead throughout most of this third quarter will see if they can do so as we work our way down into the last 4 42 Kyle Larry does a nice job, works himself into the lane and gets that to go.
Fire into the corner there and then off the Wilson Chandler feed around the horn.
It goes into the corner for Garrett and uh oh, no Excuse Mei.
It's the entrepreneur Spencer.
I was about to hang my hat on Garrett Temple, but Spencer Jim would.
He connects on another three ball here.
And, as we said, starting to heat up spent so much time in the first half being the facilitator even early in the third quarter.
Here now on a beautiful around the horn swing, starting with Wilson Chandler working through Joe Harrison, ultimately finding its way into Spencer James Lady who locks that one up.
DeAndre Jordan, down there on the baseline has a baka break, this one out of his hand.
There little just jointed possession, trading threes for threes.
Here have been the Brooklyn Nets as Joe Harris crashes hard into the back board, padding their trying to deny Lowry access in the lane.
This remains a 10 point game.
Looks like they're going to call the offensive foul against Kyle Lowry. Here.
Joe has really got blown out of the lane there.
Larry legitimately looks a little confused there against hit with a technical foul.
We'll take a look at the replay here, so let's do a great job offensively.
Both teams starting to heat up a little bit here and they're actually gonna have Ah, Spencer.
Gemini will take that technical foul shot, rattles it in.
So a nice job from Spence there and now we'll go back the other way.
Larry, continue trying to have that conversation.
Yeah, uses the elbow.
Extend just extends Joe Harris away.
That's all it really came down to.
You know, Joe Harris is trying to reach out for that to get that loose ball there before it goes out of bounds.
And then ultimately Here's what you get.
It's just a slamming.
A little on the sidelines, eh? NBA referees have been, You know, they're pretty clear on that kind of stuff.
You make that kind of gesture or volatile quote unquote, you're going to get hit with it.
So wasn't a foul called? They're just got hit with a technical possession remains with Toronto inbounds from lowering.
This is an 11 point game, 68 57 now it looks like Larry's gonna get hit with the foul here as he tried to avoid DeAndre Jordan.
Now he and Ibaka go back and forth and they have, ah, fun exchange their heated exchange.
These guys that played with one another.
So obviously there's a familiarity there.
Ah, as basically Kyle Lowry ties to take Spencer Dinwiddie, push him out of his way and then grab onto DeAndre Jordan handoff from Jordan to Joe Harris off of the Spencer Dinwiddie feed.
No good from three.
This one bounces out to the edge there, re gathered by Toronto and Kyle Lowry.
He'll bring up the floor and try to reset the offense wide open for Ibaka.
Strong on that three.
Wilson Chandler, with that weak side rebound.
Let's go ahead and get ourselves reset here.
I've been saying most of the names, but let's just confirm them.
It is Harris Jin, Woody Temple, Chandler and Jordan for the Nets on the floor.
Ibaka, Siachen, Lowry, Rondae, Hollis, Jefferson and also McCall on the floor there as the reverse tipping is not go for Jordan office.
Spencer game Buddy feed back the other way.
Become Davis fires.
The Hollis Jefferson loses it off his foot rattles around out of bounds.
Turnover for Toronto as Ah Rondae, Hollis Difference.
Getting himself getting back down the floor.
And again, they highly that heated exchange.
They're discussing what they like or do not like about what's been happening here.
And then they show that SIAC um sorry that Ibaka three from the corner that was no good.
So they're just double checking on it.
They're not sure why they showed that particular replay, but at the end of the day, it still remains an 11 point lead here for the Brooklyn.
That's 2 55 to go in the third.
They have done exactly what we hoped they would maintain that lead.
Keep the pressure on Toronto to understand it's going to take multiple stops and multiple conversions on the offensive end to get back into this game.
That being said, they, of course, are within earshot.
There's only 23 possession game.
So if you are the Nets, you need to make sure that you do a sound job.
Defending, especially has to be a stay at home against against your assignments.
If they're gonna go down low to see how come I'm gonna go down low, do Ibaka.
It's okay if you give up those two point attempts.
You just cannot afford to collapse your defense in around and bring those double teams.
Too often it's going to allow Lowry.
It's going to allow Ibaka when he's out there on the perimeter.
And, of course, then Fleet to have easy access to three point opportunity.
So, so far, so good from that from we talk about the Toronto Raptors, shooting just 25% from beyond the arc on those 24 attempts.
So they are trying just unable to convert right now, 37% overall from the field and only 71% 5 of seven at the line.
So once again and that's it.
A little something here.
These last couple of games going back to that Pacers match of got to the line nearly three times more than the Pacers here in this one, already 14 of 18 at this point, the third quarter converting at a high percentage, 78% they themselves just six of 26 from beyond the arc.
So they've had their struggles from the outside shooting 38% from the field.
These Air two teams that are virtually playing ah, very similar game right now, struggling from the field.
But the Nets are getting to the line again, will still have themselves in the bonus, at least over this next 2 55 And then, if they can avoid committing fouls, won't give Toronto opportunity late here in the third to get some easy points at the line.
The other little note there, too, of course, is that over the course of this third quarter, both teams went into halftime with six turnovers.
Nets come out of Ah, the time out here, having committed to but have just a total, and already Toronto has 12 so four in the quarter for them to me. Six and 1/4 for them.
The key matchup between Dimwit and Larry, 12 points to nine in favour of dimly three and nine from the field versus three of 11.
Dim Willie's advantage there.
Three turnovers as well for Library to just one for Spencer Dinwiddie.
And then, obviously, we talked about those insist numbers.
Well on his way to that double double mark again as he has already 12 points and then nine assists.
The last two games, they say 21 points.
11 assistant, no turnovers against Toronto, 21 points, 11 assists and two turnovers against Indy.
So already doing it here in first met since Darren Williams have 20 points, 10 assists in two turnovers in consecutive games back in the 2013 season.
So again he's on pace for a very similar run here.
We'll see where his point total goes over the fourth quarter as we get back underway here with the final three minutes to go in the corner, it's Garrett Temple works that bass line like a tightrope over the Wilson Chandler feeds TLC.
You comes up short from three.
This is now Temple Chandler, Jordan Avert and TLC turnover here for Toronto.
Once again their 13th of the game, TLC barrels into Kyle Larry, and he's gonna get hit with the foul here.
This is gonna be borderline Kyle Lowry is ah of you know, E.
I think he's right on the edge here.
They may call for the review of the challenge about whether or not Nick Nurse is calling for that review.
And it just I was going to say, If they don't get this overturned, I'll take a look at the replay.
But you're gonna see Kyle Lowry pretty irate.
Here's he probably feels that got himself set up in good position.
Boy, it's hard to say he's moving a little bit across and also a little bit forward to get into position.
So gonna be interested in taking little.
This replay flip call in the court is a foul going against lower, so I'll be curious to see if they if they see something here.
Usually they come out of it pretty quick.
You might say it's an automatic overturn and the adjustment if you take a couple of glances at it, they might be saying, Let's just confirm that what we had called there on the floor rings true and if so, would be another foul there.
Kyle Lowry here and as the referees actually swap off here and the third referee is now going to get a look at this play Kyle Lowry looking.
But he's pointing the other direction, saying it needs to be his.
And if they don't get this overturned, you may seek I Larry a little bit irate.
Remember, already picked up a technical earlier in this quarter.
So walking a little bit on thin ice, you could say and the call looks like it will stand fourth personal foul for Kyle Lowry as he asked the blade his tongue.
So you wanted to see how his reaction was.
Obviously, is a better.
He's not gonna blow his top here, but nevertheless, you know he's had a rough run here over the course of this third quarter.
Picked up the technical foul on the offensive end, Got cold on the offensive foul, trying to move DeAndre Jordan out of the way, gets hit with the foul.
Here is TLC goes to the line and knocks down his first.
So a fantastic job of by this Nets team on both ends of the floor, getting a little bit of frustration.
We'll see now with these four fouls control himself, which still to 28 to go, plus the entirety of the fourth quarter.
There is a TLC, so the Nets extend this lead out to 13 70 to 57.
As I said, coming up on 2 25 to play here in the third, Nets getting back on defense and looking to frustrate this Toronto team.
Once again, McCall, down low, gets it to Siachen.
Now they do a little flash of a double team there, gets it out of his hands quickly.
It's Wilson Chandler defending against him, setting the screen out top and a three ball there from Kyle.
Arrogance to go.
Has some words towards the referee.
May just want to keep an eye on that tip away.
They're out off the hands of Davis as Thea Toronto Raptors trying to ramp up their pressure.
TLC had that in bands.
Levert is saying, Okay, let's settle ourselves down here a little bit.
Have a 10 point lead final two minutes of the third Let's allow Toronto to be frustrated.
Lots for modern make mistakes, not us.
Garrett Temple over to DeAndre Jordan.
Hold the top of the key.
Gets it to a cutting Caris Levert rate back to DeAndre Jordan.
They work is to man game tight, passing the lane from DeAndre Jordan and then can't get it to go.
This one will flash off the hands of Rondae.
Hollis Jefferson is he got underneath the basket and could not grant that loose ball.
It will stay with the Nets with 14 to shoot side out 1 45 to go here in the third.
Not a great offense is set there as DeAndre, Jordan and Caris Levert exchange tight quarters passing now here, inbound from lover to DeAndre Jordan.
Kyle Lowry does a nice job.
Swats that one out of his hand out of bounds.
Still 12 to shoot.
Nets will get this one side out again, Remember? Of course, the Nets are in the bonus in the final two minutes.
Toronto Yet to get there.
No fouls, I believe yet on the net.
So still, take two in this final two before they get to the line.
Wilson Chandler from three banks in the Heidi Ho good neighbor Wilson Chandler.
I don't know if he called off class, but it's still gonna count in the N B A game 73 60.
So he got one taken off the board, stepping out of bounds in the first half.
Here he finds his rhythm.
Now with the extra feed at the other end.
McCall cannot convert on the Kyle Lowry feed.
However, This one will rattle around and get picked up ultimately by McCall, and he gets that book it back in.
So a quick little deuce there for Toronto pulls them back to 11 73 62 as the Nets come down here on the final minute in the third quarter, Garrett Temple defended heavy by Kyle Lowry and Kyle Larry's gonna pick up his fifth foul of the game, trying to go into Garrett Temple.
Want to turn away, and Kyle tried to keep him there with a little grab the wrist.
So listen, no matter what it is, Kyle Lowry rate now is he keeps looking over the bench is saying No, I'm fine.
He's now picked up three fouls here in this quarter.
He's picked up a technical foul here in this quarter.
And as you start to look around and you know, it just feels like one of those things that happens to any player doesn't matter if it's Toronto or Brooklyn or anyone in the n. B. A.
At a certain point, that just starts to build.
And by the way, the referee starts to look at you a little bit closer as well.
Not doing yourself any favours, getting a technical, a little bit of arguing as well.
So right back to the line goes Brooklyn on the first shot.
Garrett Temple is good at the line, 74 60 to a 12 point advantage for Brooklyn Thesent.
One rattles home for Garrett Temple, and that is Ah, 13.
756 to 2 lead one minutes ago, here in the third.
McCall on the ball for Toronto.
He hands off to see aacm.
Nets need to again hold this lead here.
Wilson Chandler sides a little bit against Jacome.
Hell, fire! That three ball does not connect.
I do not believe he has had one yet today.
So a nice exchange there, even though you like to see that temple defense a little bit.
Sorry, we'll challenge defense a little bit tighter.
Ultimately, though, we know that SIAC has been getting to the basket with ease.
Over the course of the 1st 3/4 Temple tries to fire outside.
There should be a lover tries to fire outside the Wilson Chandler.
Chandler thinks he's gonna do the back door cut down the baseline.
Wilbur thinks he's gonna stick in the corner.
So a turnover here for the Brooklyn, that's still a 13 point lead, about a seven second shot comfortably in **** difference.
McCullough dries quick in the shot clock.
Can't get it to go, however.
Liver was present there.
DeAndre Jordan picks up the rebound, and now the Nets have just the one second shot clock to game clock difference.
Easy opportunity for them to get the final shot of the quarter.
Essentially, love urges holds out front here.
He's got McCulloch.
Defending against them now gets the switch Drives to the basket.
Up off the glass won't go, but there is the Andre Jordan getting that tip in, and we'll see here if they're going to say they're going to review that after the fact.
Let's get a look at that replay.
Oh, I think that one might be worthy.
I think that was coming off the rim there, so we'll take a look.
I don't know if we'll go back and review that.
After the fact about 75 62 3 seconds to go, Nets have that 13 point lead.
Hollis Jefferson into See ya come to one, rises up and gets the three to go.
So, unfortunately, there for the Brooklyn Nets.
Ah, bad exchange on the offensive end.
What could've extending out to 15 5 point swing? And now it will be a 10 point lead going to the third quarter.
Clearly a clean shot there from SEAQ, Um as he hits his 1st 3 ball off the game that is now one of five for him.
He has 16 points.
That could be the catalyst to get him cooking a little bit.
Heading to the fourth.
We know that the Nets have gotten Lowry into that foul trouble.
So with a 10 point lead, you know, back in your mind, right? What could have been a 15 point lead.
Instead, Toronto able to inbounds from the sideline as opposed to from underneath the basket gets you about 1/3 of the way up.
The court gets the inbound with ease to see Aquaman half court turns and in just three seconds there or in 2.
5 seconds gets that one up and over.
Garrett Temple giving the Toronto Raptors something to build off of down 10 75 65 as we head to the fourth great back and forth action as we take a look and say British Pats fan, Thank you so much for following us.
Here's a little coin in your hat as well.
Ah, British Pats fan.
I am a New York football Giants fan, so I don't necessarily support your particular sports franchise.
That being said, we obviously want to Super Bowls against you.
So hey, it is what it is.
Curious to see if Tom Brady ends up back there in New England, or if we could see a little bit of movement from a lot of quarterbacks around the league, right? A CZ.
We get off topic for a minute.
Here in the commercial break, is it? Philip Rivers says he wants to play, at least at a maximum two more seasons.
NFL Where's he gonna land? Is Cam Newton gone from the Panthers? Is Tom Brady leaving New England? Andy Dalton has said he wants to, and the team said the honor and try to work with him to find a trade partner.
A lot of moving quarterbacks could be coming here.
Is Drew Brees retiring? Is he coming back to play again in New Orleans? So there's a ton of moving parts are going to be all over this NFL landscape.
And, uh, if you happen to be a fan of that, you're looking for some conversation on it.
You can head over to iTunes or ever get your podcasts, check out the one giant podcast.
I do that, uh, for full Giants coverage, and I actually just did a fantastic our long conversation.
Ah, with a friend of the show, as they say, Scott Mason of the play like a jet podcast, He does amazing coverage for the New York Jets.
We talked about Jets and Giants, the offseason free agency and a lot of similar players that both teams could have their eye on in the free agency market and in the draft as well.
So going to be interesting to see how that plays out, but a really fun conversation.
So if you aren't NFL fan, you want to check out that content.
Feel free to do so.
That being said back in at the start of the fourth quarter, Nets up by 10 75 65 looking to close out what would be a huge victory before the All Star break.
This one starts out with a long three bowl from start top of the key three bowl there from Van Fleet.
It ultimately goes out of bounds there with TLC battling.
For that, he almost does that one on the bounds on the inbounds to Garrett Temple.
Nevertheless, Nets will get into their offensive set here.
You've got Ah, Rondae, Hollis Jefferson, McCall, Davis, Thomas Now and Van Fleet.
Thomas came in at the end of the third quarter for Toronto.
DeAndre Jordan gets on the interior against that bucket to go and one opportunity, and no one likes it more than the throw on the sidelines.
Spin move in the lane against McCall, and it'll be Hollis Jefferson, who picked up that bafta DeAndre.
Jordan has certainly found themselves a nice bit of rhythm these last few games.
Coming off that massive 19 point performance, he's on the line here with the chance for the three point play he converts, and it's TLC, liver, Jordan, Chandler and Temple on the floor for the Brooklyn Nets right now, that marks the 6th 3.
4 DeAndre Jordan three or four from the floor with seven rebounds.
But he has had a nice overall game here.
Asks Swat away there.
Although it ends up in the hands of Davis on the outside, it will not matter as he misses and DeAndre Jordan gets a second rebound.
Great defensive presence from the big again as we again are seeing this Temple and Wilson Chandler line up along with DeAndre Jordan and then Caris, Levert and TLC.
So Laverne cannot rattle home that outside shot put back.
No, by DeAndre Jordan had the rebounding.
Could not get it to go.
This will be a Thomas breaking out.
Finds Van Fleet on the perimeter.
He drives into the lane, gives up the dribble, tries to fire out to the side.
There cannot get macaw miscommunication.
Almost a great put back there from DeAndre, Jordan is the Nets continue to play at a high level here.
Joe Harris checks in.
So this core of these four players, though Thea National, you are seeing as well? No.
Yes, it is still the same lives.
Just TLC comes out.
It's going to stay with Caris, Levert, Joe Harris, DeAndre Jordan, Garrett Temple and Wilson Chandler.
Fire into the corner was DeAndre Jordan getting down the baseline and one bucket counts.
Garin Temple gets to the paint, Does a great job there and again.
DeAndre Jordan is on a nice job facilitating here.
He's made some great backdoor feeds, and that was a bit wasn't little lucky.
On the outside is Davis look like you have the coverage but nevertheless takes the hit there from Thomas.
Does Garrett Temple gets that up and in with some high English, and now he'll go to the line with a chance to get this and one opportunity again.
Two quick fouls against Toronto here in the fourth quarter.
So the Nets, working their way towards that bonus opportunity and another three point opportunity if Garrett Temple can convert, which he does not so wind out of my sails just a little bit 15 point game now, so that five points when we talk about the end of the third, the Nets of a race that here quickly and now Davis tries to work in the corner.
He's got Laverty pestering him all the way out to the top of the key.
He'll try to reset.
Use the Hollows, Jefferson Screen bounce, Pass the Hollis Jefferson back out Top D three from Van Fleet, and it is good.
So with the foul trouble for Kyle, Lowry expects Van Fleet to get a lot of looks here on the perimeter and see if they can shoot themselves back into this one down to a 12 point game, 68 80.
Ah, just under 10 minutes to play here in the 9 55 March under Jordan holds now waits.
A little bounce cast into the lady Cares with her bank shot is up in good nice job by DeAndre Jordan again.
Ah, beautiful touch.
Pass inside the lane to caress Laverne, who finishes at the rim.
Most importantly, Bounce pass to the outside here now do Ivanka.
As Toronto tries to set himself up, they go down baseline.
The Hollis Jefferson LeFort defending against them, By the way, just in case anyone's wondering that long three ball won't go and Joe Harris gets that rebound secured.
Very nice job there from Joe here is reading that long rebound and now cares.
Lover works in the lane.
Possession will stay with Brooklyn.
No foul call here as it is.
Davis, down on the floor, taking an extra beat.
Hopefully, he is all right there, but fantastic.
Back and forth pays.
It's a 16 point game 60 of 80 to 68.
And right now you're seeing just a wonderful job by DeAndre Jordan on both ends of the floor.
This one comes through here and it is, in fact, a second elbow.
The first elbow comes through.
2nd 1 does catch Davis there.
This possession will stay with the Brooklyn Nets.
And unfortunately, they're just an incidental contact.
Although, I mean, technically, yes, you can have that be called against you at times.
Ah, and looks like Davis is up in Okay.
Just needed a minute there as he got caught on the nose.
Play here for cares.
Levert weights and then fires deep and it will unfortunately be DeAndre Jordan, unable to grab that one a little high for Laverne and a little lax.
A daisy Coal from Jordan.
So Kenny Atkinson walks away and just a touch of disgust as the nest.
Now you gotta play a clean game here.
You don't want to give these windows for Toronto toe work there, buddy, back into this one.
You know, by the way, on that play I said little about its physical from DeAndre Jordan.
But I put that more on Laverty as he had a lot of space there to get it out to his big.
And those turnover problems do continue to plague Caris.
Levert Van Fleet has the switch against Jordan and Bang knocks down the three.
So just like that, it's an 11 point game.
And as I said, Van Fleet is going to be the catalyst here for the Toronto Raptors.
With Kyle Lowry and foul trouble.
Levert works towards the paint, then pulls back out.
He has Davis defending against him.
Switch comes here.
Now it is Rondae, Hollis Jefferson.
Laverne narrowly gets it over to ah, Joe Harris and that ultimately, it's a sloppy pass there, Joe Harris tries to fight for it.
We'll see who this one gets called against, because again, well, the Harris does have the ball.
So maybe a steal there.
As you see, Harris goes crashing into the front row.
They're trying to save this one.
If you're the Nets got to settle down here.
Focus in as he got an 80 to 71 game and now Van Fleet rising up off the elbow.
No good Joe Harris grab that rebound, so had back to back three.
They're from a van.
Fleet misses on that mid range game, and now the necesito have a consistent and strong performance on the offensive end.
Lover has looked a little bit sloppy here with the ball man just to get it outside.
Cannot secure it and a nice job there, though.
That's Garrett Temple missing and Lover Does a great job catch.
Crashing the glass there, gets the rebound, gets it back up and in to extend this lead back to 13 84 71.
Ibaka thinks about the three. Wilson.
Chandler scares him off of that around the perimeter.
See Aacm Garrett Temple defends against him over on the outside through Van fleet Ibaka into the corner.
McCall has baseline goes back to Ibaka and a nice flush in through the lane.
Nice job there by Toronto.
Worked all the way around the perimeter and a warning for DeLay game.
They're going to say against Ibaka, though.
All I did was put that one through.
I don't think he touched the doll following the basket back down to 11.
Full court press here from Van Fleet.
Against Cares, Laverne.
And if you're Caris Levert, you have had turnovers.
You need to settle yourself down and it looks like they're going to say that's going to be yet another turnover.
So they're gonna call.
It looks like a travel there from Caris Levert and you need to get him out of the game.
He was starting to get sloppy with that ball down this stretch here.
So still in 11 point lead now, 14 turnovers already.
So you see how quickly the Nets piled those up and Caris Levert again represents a large portion of that Laverne out Spencer Dinwiddie in the rest of the lineup stays the same.
So now we'll start to see here 7 34 mark.
This has become the time of game without Kyrie Irving available for the Nets.
When Spencer, then when he starts to Goto work, especially on the offense. Event.
Three from Van Fleet.
Rebound rattles around Jo hair, swats it out of there to get her away from Rondae, Hollis, Jefferson and Ibaka.
That'll be taken here by Kenny Atkinson With an 11 point lead, 7 18 to go in the fourth.
The Nets have battled here, and they're gone through their own little stretch of struggles.
Thankfully, Toronto has been a little bit off their game, and with Kyle Lowry and foul trouble, you're allowing yourself to maybe give yourself extra cushion and have some mistake, specifically, some of those turnovers from Caris Levert.
Nevertheless, we continue to say hi to, Ah, some of the players that have come in here.
There's Mom and number four, a nice tribute, sir, for a Lakers fan.
Or maybe just a Kobe Bryant fan.
In general, you've also got Dave with the Dolphins.
Thank you for joining it on.
The broadcast is well, sir.
And then down there at the bottom of fresh face.
CB Kester She's been in on the broadcast over the course of the life of the week on Nets brand on SportsCastr and checks in with us again here.
So thank you and hello to all those who rejoined in from our first half coverage and to our new friends that come in here as we pick this one up in the fourth quarter late.
That's a done. A nice job.
Let's check some of those stat lines here.
How have the Ah Nets and Toronto Raptors gotten to this 10.
37% from Toronto, 29 78 38% for the Nets, 29 of 76? So nearly item for item there.
10 of 34 29% for the Toronto Raptors.
They are starting to heat up a little bit from the outside nets, still struggling at seven of 30 23% So we'll see how that plays out.
As we mentioned in the first half, continuing to be the trend here.
Five of 74 Toronto at the line, 19 of 24 for the Brooklyn Nets.
They started off the third quarter there with a couple of an one opportunities through DeAndre Jordan through Garrett Temple.
So those were big plays, and they both converted on those opportunities as well.
We know getting Kyle out of foul trouble.
The technical picked up there obviously gets this offense out of its rhythm, though Toronto was obviously familiar.
They've had injuries on both he and manfully to take insurance.
Being out lives at times, and yet here we find ourselves rate in it.
As Ah, is the Nets done a good job in the third quarter, maintaining at that distance there? Or was it about a double digit lead on now in the fourth, trying to extend and close this one out? Turnovers are 12 for Brooklyn, 13 for the Toronto Raptors.
To this point, as we said still remains an 11 point lead.
We reset the lineups, hear coming out of the time out you got Rhonda Hollis, Jefferson Van Flee, Ibaka, Siaca, Man Macaw and then on the floor for Brooklyn.
The 14 point performance, 5 to 10 shooting from Joe Harris, just one of four from beyond the arc has four relatively big rebounds in this game, has crashed the glass very well and come up with some loose balls.
Ah, he will be out there with Spencer, Dinwiddie, Wilson, Chandler, DeAndre, Jordan and Garrett Temple.
We'll take a look and see here.
If any changes came during the time out, it does not look like it.
And we will, as the full court press comes here from Brooklyn, over the top from hairs to Garrett Temple.
He'll fire the hairs and mid court to get across now out to Spencer.
Didn't Woody on the wing with Siachen picking him up there.
Works it back out to the top.
It's Van Fleet defending against Garrett Temple.
You wanna have people you can trust with the ball in their hands? Now he goes to Joe Harris.
Baseline Jumper is good and lumber Joe, I haven't had to say that a lot, just the one big call.
But I'm gonna transition it into inside the Ark now because he continues to hit big shots for the Brooklyn Nets here over the course of this game and in the fourth quarter, especially 18 foot jumper goes there as the call out front here on the other end will go against Temple picks up on the outside pal, call here signed out 6 47 that will mark, I believe Garrett temples third foul here will take a look of where he stands if they flash it up.
Kyle, I renounce.
6 47 Marchal checked back into the game.
As we said, Five fouls.
Three of those coming on that offensive end there had that technical foul called against him as well.
He also picked one up on the defensive end there as a TLC worked away his way across half court.
So Ibaka on the inbounds bang quick little turn and shoot for Ibaka.
He's had some nice looks from out there, and this stays at a 10 point game as Ah, Spencer did when he gets it across to Joe Harris was in Toronto is trying to force the issue here and get some turnovers.
A lot of halfcourt.
3/4 press here, all the way up in the midway point of the force.
You know that they're trying to find a way to get themselves back tight before they could get reset to their normal offense.
Little Shah ho ho.
Little attempt there for the alley.
You from Spencer Dinwiddie over to DeAndre Jordan, Jordan, Miss Times's jump gets beaten off by the rim and it will go the other way.
Now, with Van Fleet swinging around sides, Siachen has Jordan trying to fend against him.
Pulled back on that three doesn't get it to go.
Nice job there by Garrett Temple Grabbing that loose ball, flashing it back over to Tory on Prince, Who gets it into the hands of Spencer Dinwiddie.
You now have Tory on prints and joining out there.
The Stepback three is no good.
Big tap back from DeAndre Jordan office.
Spencer did what he missed.
Joe Harris does not go with the three goes baseline fires at the temple.
Now Tori on Prince Waits kicks outside, too.
Spencer, Jim when he works in a lane euro step all class rattled at home.
And Spencer Dinwiddie, as we say, the entrepreneur into his bag for the pull up runner in the lane off glasses.
And let's get back to that 10 point lead 5 30 to go in the 4th 88 76 nets on D now, with Van Fleet kicking out to Ibaka once again from three short off front rent van fleet flashes inside the Spencer Daily secures that rebound will bring into the offensive end as the Nets look to extend a 12 point advantage.
And it s Spencer Dinwiddie attacking through the lane, banking up off glass and one opportunity.
We saw this in the Pacers game, got found five times down that stretch, went to the line, knocking down 13 out of his 14 free throw attempts here, comes up with that little runner on the previous possession and once again uses the DeAndre Jordan screen.
Has Ibaka try to fight through, gets him across the arm dimwit with a strong finish.
And then we'll go to the line now looking to extend this 14 point advantage out to 15.
And what would be, Ah, huge victory for the Brooklyn Nets as they look to head into the All Star break on a massive high note here on a two game winning streak.
Good on the three point play in Spencer Dinwiddie, 91 76.
Become a pawn five minutes to play.
Long way to go yet in this one have to stay at home on those perimeter shooters.
Van Fleet and Ibaka having success in the fourth quarter, finding their shock from the outside.
DeAndre Jordan Cardinal Switch right now with Van Fleet will now find himself matched up against Kyle Lowry avoids the three balls.
He goes down low, too.
Ibaka slapped out there by Wilson Chandler Looks like he'll pick up that foul call there.
These lineups once again it is Van Fleet, Ivanka.
Come and woe be and Larry starting rotation.
Then you have Jordan.
Didn't Woody, Prince Laverne and Chandler on the floor for the Brooklyn Nets? Ibaka once again wide open and once again knocks down that three.
So, as we said, they've been heating up from the perimeter.
Continue to do so here through the fourth quarter, they are now shooting still a 29 nearly 30% now.
So they're creeping up on that 30% mark.
Out of the top is Spencer Dim.
When he's got any, will be defending against him.
Go behind the back of the line, kicks outside to Wilson Chandler.
He rises up off the mark from three and the foul will get called under the basket.
This one's going to stay right here.
You talk about the hard work on the offense and defense it end.
This is going to go against the Baka, and it is DeAndre Jordan under the basket looking to get up for that loose ball and we'll get that found Cole against Ibaka and another chance here for the Brooklyn Nets.
And again, as we highlighted this all the way throughout this game, getting those foul calls on Toronto getting them into that bonus, hopefully as soon as you can, is going to give you a great chance to secure this win.
This stands right now on a 12 point lead.
Fifth personal foul, By the way, on Ibaka, their side out from Revert, he gets in a dispenser.
Dimwit in the nets look to get their offense set.
Once again, Ibaka has done what he did when he takes him right off the dribble, goes high off glass but cannot convert on this one.
So the size of Ibaka makes liver.
Excuse me, didn't go a little bit higher than he wants to there.
And now Van Fleet going the other way goes rate at Caris Levert.
He gets that one up and in back down to 10 and the first opportunity here since going back into the third quarter, possibly at some point, if not the first half, where Toronto can cut this lead to single digits was still over four minutes to play at the 4 13 mark in the fourth.
Converting is Van Fleet, 91 82.
Coming up on four to play shooting now 31 a half percent from beyond the arc is Toronto.
Joe Harris flashes it up.
This is Caris Levert breaking out.
So the Nets do a fantastic job on the inbounds play two passes into Joe Harris.
He goes straight across court there with the full court press happening, a Bank three there from Kyle.
That would have been a big shot and gotten this down to an eight point advantage.
Instead, it'll hold 93 82 3 47 marking the fourth, and the Nets did a good job but beating the pressure the first time they tried again.
Here, back shot goes for Caris, Levert in the lane over top of an fleet.
It doesn't always look pretty, but he gets the job done and back to back possessions.
Caris, Levert, after some sloppy play in the fourth, gets himself off on the bench.
Little bit of a breather regroups comeback in rises up over Van Fleet with Larry on his hip knocks that one down extends the Nets back outs.
That 13 point advantage.
95 82 with 3 40 to go here in the fourth, checking in with Doug nor to see if he has anything going on.
I was going to say something to Doug Nori that I won't convey to you here on the podcast.
Let's just let this one keep playing itself out.
We go inside those numbers once again, Toronto shooting 38 a half percent from the field as we mentioned, nearly 32% now from beyond the arc.
And that's just 7 32 of from deep, so only good for 22%.
They have struggled from there.
They've knocked down 39% of their shots from the field, 84 85 in terms of field goal attempts in favor of Brooklyn.
So very even on both sides of the ball in that regard.
But once again, Toronto sits there at six of 8 75% from the line that nets 20 of 25 80% at the free throw line, and we talked about this before.
I'll say it again here. This is the example.
In previous games, you go back 10 games midway, especially early in the season as well, when the Nets were struggling fromthe line.
If you're talking about Onley knocking down 15 of 25 5 point difference, all of a sudden you're sitting here and rather than having a 13 point lead, you're talking about having an eight point advantage.
So all these little things add up.
And if you want to be a team that wins more of these games than not, you need to do a good job converting when you are doing the precursor to that, which is putting pressure on the defense, driving the lane, forcing them into situations where they have to foul.
And then you give yourself obviously the good opportunity for some free points at the line.
And the Nets have done that through the 1st 3 plus quarters, now nearly the full four.
The Nets have ah, 23 19 advantage in the 1st 21 to 29 advantage, the second they fell short there against Toronto, 25 23 in the third and have the 2017 advantage so far here in the fourth quarter.
This is the final 3 40 to go.
Hear the Nets are up by 13 in this one offense.
Offensive end here for Toronto as it will be a Kyle Lowry taking the inbound from C aacm.
He'll get picked up by Spencer Dinwiddie.
Now on the switch.
Kyle Lowry goes down there for a second and into the corner for Ibaka.
Nice job, thereby Wilson Channel right into the body of Ibaka.
Not gonna allow him to get a chance there.
Siachen works in the lane, fires the lowering around the outside the van Fleet Man flee.
Can't get that three bolt ago while showing off the side of the ring here and ultimately come down into the hands of Joe Harris getting the rebound.
Nice defensive sequence there from the Nets for the difficult off balance shot by Van Fleet, and then we get down to the final three minutes as we have.
Nets will be in the bonus the rest of the way.
Here didn't when he's on the ball with Siachen, picking him up well out beyond the arc here.
Off the wing, he'll kick overto Caris.
Levert, who has Lowry and, of course, cares.
Laverne will turn over one in the lane, clap those hands together in discuss with himself.
Lowry now works inside, tries to lay off the feed.
Goes through to Anna.
He's long and strong on that three bowl.
Wilson Chandler with that weak side rebound.
So no harm, No foul.
There were down underneath three minutes, coming up on two and 1/2 to play here.
Every possession is crucial, As I was about to say before Caris, Levert committed that.
Turnover will get inside those numbers following the game here a little bit.
But for right now, let's focus on the positives and the Nets are down here with last 2 20 to play, kick to the corner to Wilson Chandler.
He will drive, and once again the 24 2nd shot clock violation will go off there.
As Wilson Chandler tried to drive from the biggest line.
Got that one a little bit late in the shot clock.
Have to be aware, though, of where you're at.
So now back to back possessions, turnover shot, clock violation.
Now the 2 20 mark into the corner to Van Fleet.
Clean on that three bowl, coming up on the final two minutes to play.
This is a 10 point game inbounds from Wilson Chandler to Spencer de Money, right back to Wilson Chandler.
Bounce pass over to caress Levert into the corner.
Natori on Prince.
He'll drive baseline bounce pass over to Joe Harris.
Get that one to go.
No bigger three of the game so far than that one by Joe Harris gets the lead right back out to 13 98 85 as the Nets are shooting 10 of 1953% in the quarter here.
Foul on the defensive end as Ibaka tried to go into the lane.
But that's a huge ball there as the Nets work through the pressure full court, thereby Toronto into the corner.
Natori on Prince.
He goes baseline feet under the basket out to Joe Harris.
Any rattles at home, 2nd 3 ball of the game for Joe Harris, rounding out what has been a very nice all around game for him and again.
Most importantly, you saw that three ball from Van Fleet.
The answer immediately.
Back as they highlight Joe Harris 19.
7 to 12 205 from Deep four.
Lumber Joe First free throw is good here from Ibaka.
Found going trying to go up on that previous shot there.
So we see an 86 98 game.
You can get it back down to 11 here again.
Every possession is big here.
Nets can take 24 seconds off the clock on this next possession or close to it.
And with a maid bucket, you just start to do the math on it.
Not going to be easy for Toronto to recover again.
Full court pressure comes as Joe Harris in Bounce a Spencer DiMucci The survey it.
He'll get it up across court to Wilson.
Chandler now holds a cutting Joe Harris into the corner to Tori on Prince.
He holds it, then goes all the way back out top to Spencer Dinwiddie.
And then it's a look to bleed.
Some of this clock double team comes against Spencer Dinwiddie.
He'll find Caris Levert Van Fleet almost slashed over there into the corner.
Wilson Chandler, hottie ho, good neighbor and Wilson Chandler redeems himself after he had the shot clock violation stepped out of bounds in the third quarter on the three ball comes back with two big threes in the second half year, extending this lead out the 14 87 1 No.
One in the lane.
That one won't go, though the touch out of bounds off.
Spencer didn't with these hands.
It will stay with Toronto, 1 14 to go in the fourth as the Nets can almost taste this one, they can feel the closing in here on the victory.
One or two more possessions.
But it's gonna take a little bit of work as Van Fleet will get that to go.
And one, he's gonna go back to the line here.
If the Nets win this game tonight, it would mark the end of the longest win streak in Canadian sports history.
The Raptor at 15 is those to be the longest win streak snapped in Nets MBA Franchise history previously was 12 against Seattle back in 1982 and it would also snapped a 12 game losing streak for the Nets against the Toronto Raptors.
So here we go 1 13 to go inbounds play here in 11 point game again as that three point opportunity was converted.
A by Van Fleet at the line back into the quarter to Tori on.
Prince thinks about the three but holds it.
Leave that clock down to tend to shoot one minute to play.
Here still remains an 11 point game down deep into the corner to Wilson Chandler.
Story on Prince Flasher like it might be meant for him.
Now it's Joe Harris.
He fires out, and it is Tori on prints in the corner.
Can't get that look to go.
Use nearly old the 24 seconds on that shot clock 45 seconds ago.
Bounce past the van Fleet open three short front rim A baka and they're gonna call this one to stay right here, as Joe Harris tried to sweep in to get that loose ball instead of aka will Go to the line, shooting 2101 90 11 point lead.
Get cut down in single digits in nine here, and then we'll see if Ternana looks to go into a little bit that foul game and see if they can exchange threes for twos at the line with Brooklyn Ibaka.
Good on the first, They're 91 90 91.
Why don't want excuse me.
40 seconds to go.
10 point lead for the Brooklyn Nets.
Missing on the second is Ibaka, so it'll stay a 10 point game.
Looks like some full court pressure here, trying to trap Spencer Jamie and then smartly calls that time out 34.
9 to go 19 seconds on the shot clock.
The Nets will go ahead and settle themselves in here following this time out.
And let's just make sure that we do all the little things right and give ourselves a chance to close out what is going to be arguably the biggest win of the season for the Brooklyn Nets.
And I'm not trying to overstate that at all.
And someone just plunged.
Someone on the team just punched DeAndre Jordan in the mouth as he stood there, talking to row down secure books.
It was Jared Allen who dove in and just gave must slap across the face.
How dare you, sir, You look, it is replaying.
Here is your assessment of a hangnail or something, and, uh, yep, there's a quick shot in the face that's what you get.
That's gonna be a loose tooth, potentially for DeAndre Jordan.
As the Nets have a little bit of fun here on the sidelines, a CZ they look to close this one out.
Still a little bit of work to do here.
So if you are the Nets got to play it smart and make sure you give yourself every advantage toe lock this one up, just a 10 point lead.
I don't want to say that it's over, by the way.
I'm noting that both the Big Ziana, Jordan and Jared Allen warm ups right now.
So I'd be curious to see what lineup comes out here for the Nets and, of course, for the Toronto Raptors as well.
Let's go ahead and remind you that I'll be right back on here tomorrow morning talking about postgame conversations from this one.
Who do they interview rate after this one concludes, how did the Nets feel heading into the All Star break coming off a enormous win for this team? You know, you had Kyrie Irving out missing a few games with an injury.
He's gonna come back from the All Star break healthy and fresh.
So you're gonna go into that last big game against the Philadelphia 76 years and then you can talk about you know what we can do of that easier stretch of games.
Quote unquote on.
By the way, yonder Jordan's played all the minute they were highlighting there in the fourth quarter over these last two games.
So you know, they ask that about Kenny Atkinson.
Just tow talk a little news and notes here with the extended time out.
You know, they talk about Kenny Atkinson and he basically said, Listen, a lot of things you're gonna dictate that right? Temple of the game.
Who's maybe riding the quote unquote hot hand and not so many words? He mentions that.
But it is also that, you know, defensive presence, rebounding, tempo, all those kind of things.
So I I don't think that, you know, one of the things that we talked about on the podcast was saying ceremoniously Jared Allen needs to be the starter on this team, and I think that's still rings true.
But I don't see any issues here, and we had talked about previously as well.
You know, Kyrie Irving, Some of his comments and how did People feel about it? But you saw in and around the unfortunate, uh, you know, Kobe Bryant passing the way these teammates reacted with him.
You saw the way they react when they were playing Well, you see the way DeAndre Jordan and Jared Allen work with one another.
I don't think there's anything but positive chemistry building between these guys on It certainly speaks to it here as there, coming up with a big win against minus gasoline would say, Ah, healthy term on a Raptor team put out.
By the way, we don't have our best player and Kyrie Irving, either.
So Nets are dribbling this one out.
Toronto is not committing the foul here, so they're gonna go ahead and let this one ride out here and the Nets will close out What is, as I say, arguably the biggest victory of the season for the Brooklyn Nets, 101 to 91 here, as Ibaka will pull up on a three to close this one out, Joe Harris grab that rebound off the miss, and it will be a 101 91 victory.
The Nets snap the win streak for the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors were scoring 105 in those contests.
Fantastic performance from Brooklyn Toehold Toronto under 100 here 101 91 as Harris and Kyle Larry exchange from fun words Temple and see Jacome getting together there at half court as well.
I didn't get a chance to mention that Theo Pinson was going absolutely bananas there on the sideline for the Brooklyn Nets throughout that fourth quarter.
So he's still serving his role as sideline cheerleader for the Brooklyn.
At the end of the day, that's 10 point victory for Brooklyn.
They played even 26 2 26 there in the fourth, we talk about the highlights.
It was Siachen when 36 minutes only finished with 16 so relatively quiet night, one of six from downtown never quite got himself going 28 team high for Serge Ibaka.
He had a phenomenal game, 5 to 10 from beyond the arc and that you include that Mr that he had at the end of the end of the game here.
So really five of nine goes three.
Afford the line.
Give you nine rebounds camp with a steel couple of blocks as well and only had to turn over.
So big performance from him.
Has Michael Grady will talk with Joe Harris after the game? Let's rise up and hear what he has to say.
Three games Big stretch for us.
Oxy Toronto When the best teams in the league right now on teams in the league, Indiana playing well, So, uh, going to break with two big wins? It's huge for us homeless.
Defensively holding on the 91 points tonight.
Um, you know, we just did a good job executing game plan, No.
One personnel flying around way we talked about Just try to be the great year team. Tougher team.
I think we were tonight, yet 19 points balanced effort.
It's going across the board from the team was.
But the difference lately, All offensively, I think you know you're seeing guys just doing a good job, making the extra pass being a lot of paint touches.
We're getting kicked out, spreading around.
Guys were knocking down shots.
What? We just did a good job sharing it. You're the defending.
All right, So Joe Harris, as we know, is going to go into the All Star break and look to take on some other competition there.
Ah, with his three point title on the line, that being said, he highlighted a couple of things there, Right? You talk about consistency.
You talk about big games against big teams before the All Star break, and the Nets come up with a huge victory here.
So we do close it out.
Just saying at the end of the day, this is a game where the big note for May as Ah, 13 turnovers for Toronto, 12 for the Nets.
So they did a decent job there.
I had some sloppy stretches, and if you want to nit pick, you can go inside and say, Caris, Levert, with those five turnovers, obviously looms pretty large again.
Last game, 10 turnovers, he had six of them.
He has five of them, so there's something there that he needs to clean up.
You saw him getting a little shaky down the stretch at the end of the day, though, a quality game and really, Spencer Demi did exactly what you thought actually, doesn't get that last assist to get to the double double but finishes with 17 goes five of seven of the line and again in the fourth quarter, Right? Facilitated found some open shooters, ended up working through a secondary pass.
And Doug nor is actually called this number of times, you know, to be able to go and say just like in hockey, your you have the lead assistant and the second assist.
Then you're talking about, ah, whole different stat category that you'd be blown away by for certain players around the MBA.
And I think Spencer Dinwiddie would fall into that category.
Nevertheless, you know Jared Allen, Please.
Just 20 minutes in this one.
Give your 13 rebounds and 10 points.
So a gentleman's double double for him, DeAndre Jordan closes it out.
He plays 23 minutes.
Gives you 10 rebounds.
Four assists for the big man in this one.
So nice complimentary play all the way around here.
We won't labor too long on this 1 20 points for Caris.
He actually end up leading the team on a 10 of 20 shooting night.
That overall was positive.
Obviously we talk about the turnover gonna clean those up at seven rebounds, four assists four steals in this one, so five turnovers before steals.
So, Annette, you know, minus one.
Not the worst thing in the world.
They're either just a solid overall team effort.
Joe here 7 to 12 2 of five from beyond the arc.
Big threes there in the fourth quarter to close this one out.
And, of course, 10 of 13 for Toronto from the line 20 of 25 for the Brooklyn Nets.
That is, friends, a 10 point difference in terms of points at the line.
That's the difference of the final score here.
We will, As we said, come back in tomorrow, talk news and notes around the Brooklyn Nets in the postgame coverage.
We will then do a little bit of a review if it's not tomorrow, maybe on five year over the weekend, as we head towards that All Star break.
But we'll take a look back at what is the quote unquote midway point of the season.
Where do we think the Nets stand coming off of two big victories heading into the break? And what do we think about their chances going forward to continue to build off of this big performance back to back games.
Ah, and can they look ahead and think? Where do we want to go? Over the back end of our season as we look ahead towards those playoffs.
As always, I have been at a marmot on behalf of the we got nits podcast with Doug Nori Ali Doug Nori ever watchful over my shoulder.

Nevertheless, this is riding high here in terms of Brooklyn Nets fandom.
Don't get too high. Don't get too low.
But these are a couple of nice victories.
The Nets, as we mentioned, is, well, you want to talk about where they find themselves over all here all of the sudden because of two big game's over a four game stretch going back to the start with Toronto, the Nets now find themselves seventh position, as we know, but 25 28.
Now you talk about one more big match up with the Philadelphia 76 years, and then you get into those Charlotte in Orlando matchups, and you can almost taste getting back to that 500 level and surging forward as you move towards those playoffs.
And obviously 25 28 we're talking about being 53 games through the season, so less than less than you know less than 30 games to go here on the year so well through the midway point of the season.
As we know, it's gonna be interesting to see what happens on the back half of this one.
A lot of players playing with confidence, obviously trying to continue to build cohesion and chemistry.
Stay tuned for the Nets podcast drop, which will come Ah Lee early Friday morning.

Doug Nori and myself will dissect it.
We'll talk big picture things as well, and then we'll send you off into that into that All Star weekend where, as I say, I'll be doing coverage off Spencer Dinwiddie and Jared, uh, Jenna and Joe Harris in their respective three point and skills competitions.
And hey, friends, enjoy the break.
The Nets come off on two big wins, highlighted and capped off here by the 101 91 victory at home over the Toronto Raptors.
As always, I have been at a marmot.
