and welcome back to the We got nits Podcast Coming to You Live on SportsCastr ahead of the final game for the All Star break for the Brooklyn Nets at home, taking on the Toronto Raptors.
We know that coming into this game, the Nets air, certainly flying a little high, beating the Indiana Pacers down the stretch in what was a tight game.
They trailed their late, obviously, in that one lay up from Joe Harris, followed by a rebound outlet passed from DeAndre Jordan to Spencer Dinwiddie.
He finds your Harrison open space to knock down a big three, and even though some bonus came right back down and was able to give the Pacers a briefly, ultimately, it was Spencer dimly working broads and down off the right side of the Ark.
There gets a little step back, space knocks down the big bucket, and the Nets come up with a nice 106105 near buzzer beater, 3.
8 seconds left in the final defensive sequence plays out without Thea, the Pacers able to do any damage so that you're coming off a nice victory there.
Certainly they're going to be looking to get.
I wouldn't say redemption is they? They highlighted some of these ah player quotes coming into this match up, DeAndre Jordan specifically saying It's not a revenge game or get back game.
It's just an opportunity to win one before you head into the All Star break.
And if you get this back to back wins.
Certainly over tough competition.
In spite of the fact that the Pacers were struggling with just the Owen six record after having won eight of the previous 10 Victor Oladipo, they're still trying to get his legs underneath him, certainly as well.
So, uh, you know it's just important to play well and try to come out with a victory here.
If you are the Brooklyn Nets.
Unlike on the previous match up, the Toronto Raptors will have a Kyle Lowry back in the rotation for themselves.
So another shooter to contend with on the floor from a Brooklyn Nets defensive standpoint.
And then you know, on the net side of things we were highlighting this coming out a couple of matchup, that 19 rebound performance from DeAndre Jordan.
There's been a little bit of a shift back and forth for Kenny Atkinson in terms of which big he wants to go down the stretch with DeAndre.
Jordan got the lion's share of the minutes, but we know what Jared Allen brings to the to the court just in terms of, ah, improving some of those passing skills down in the low block awareness quickness to make those decisions as a signori myself have been highlighting on some of the recent podcasts just saying that we were seeing Alan take that next little step in his game.
It's incremental, it's more instinctual.
And yet they're still times depending on matchups.
Where I think some of the veteran presence and just, you know, experience from DeAndre Jordan has maybe been something that Kenny Atkinson has like to lean on and stretches of these games.
So that being said, this will be an interesting matchup.
Nets come in getting three and 1/2 over under set at 2 23 and 1/2 in this game as well, so we'll see how this one gets underway early.
The Nets did a decent job in their initial matchup taking on the Toronto Raptors a couple of games ago, and then slowly faded out to that 11 point deficit came surging back in the fourth quarter, 30 to 19 in that fourth quarter to give themselves an opportunity.
And yet, as we know, missed three pointer, rebound, put back chance there for Joe Harris.
Frustration obviously expressed their.
He gets a little bit of that quote redemption in this last game as he knocks down a couple of big shots to help give them. That's the wind.
So recent experience maybe will dictate how the Nets come out early in this one.
And then ultimately, like we said ahead of the Toronto match up the first time or the last most recent game here, uh, it ultimately comes down to this being a really talented team, a team that's going to play their starters.
We talked about this the last match up philosophically, a little bit different from Toronto to Brooklyn.
Kenny Atkinson has these minute shares the marks down when he's talking about these lineups and how much he wants to see guys play, whereas on the Toronto side of things, they're gonna run guys out there 30 plus minutes consistently.
Siachen is going to be on the floor and dictating a lot of this tempo here and then you think about now with then fleet there lie already back from injury.
All of a sudden, you are talking about having a couple of perimeter guys that you're going to keep an eye on as they can both start to heat up there from the perimeter and hurry.
And that could be a difference maker in terms of trading baskets.
At times, if you end up going to the interior working through, maybe Jared Allen or DeAndre Jordan, obviously, as they highlight on the broadcast, there'll avert with that miss and then the opportunity for that put back there.
So we'll be interested to see how this one starts.
Nets obviously coming off the big win.
But you just wonder, will there be any letdown leading into the All Star break? Or they have a little bit of a charge Looking to close out on a strong high note here? We mentioned on the previous one wrapping up that Pacers game.
It said a little bit.
That's could be feeling that they're playing with house money here.
This four game stretch that bleeds after the All Star break, where you say Toronto, Indiana, Toronto again and then 70 Sixers, you know easily could have been more stretch where they went owned.
Getting that game catching Indiana may be the right time was huge.
And now you think about, though, can you maybe try to find one here on your home court just before the break? And all of a sudden dealing in a worst case scenario two and two out of this four game stretch? Knowing this softer set of opponents that you're gonna bring yourself into that being said, we'll take a little step away here as, ah, they start to hone in on the tip off that will be coming in and just probably about 67 minutes here.
Once it's all said and done, usually gets going around 7 40 marks, So that will be the case here.
Well, of course, go wire to wire and try to highlight some what we're going to see in this game here knowing that cares.
The vert comes off a little bit of a letdown performance for him, but he gets picked up by his teammates.
Obviously, in this previous match up, Spencer Dinwiddie does what he does.
We're in the fourth quarter.
All of the sudden, and you know, I had 11 assists in that last game, did a ton of work from a facilitation standpoint and then the fourth quarter just said, OK, I'm putting my head down on going to the basket here and I'm going to draw 5004th quarter.
I'm gonna knock down 13 14 free throws.
Nets have nearly a 3 to 1 disparity there over the Indiana Pacers in terms of getting to the line.
So that was another big factor as well.
And something will keep an eye on here in that last matchup is, well, Caris, Levert team overall had 10 turnovers.
Levert represented 50 no, sorry.
So more than half of those turnovers came to us from Caris. Levert.
The team outside of him had just four for the game, so they've taken the ball very well.
If lover can just kind of get himself home back in here a little bit, expect another nice performance from him, and then we'll see how some of these complementary pieces look to support the main players in Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris Levert because Jared Allen has shown flashes and it seems like, sometimes just gets into that hot rhythm and you're able to keep cooking with him.
And then you obviously talked about the perimeter shooters.
This story on Prince show? Ah, high level of sick of shooting success here early as that can sometimes take.
Temple has risen up for a couple of quiet game from Wilson Chandler this last one.
So maybe keep an eye on to see how he looks.
And then, overall, all five starters in that last gaming is Indiana in double digits.
We also saw three players off the bench there in double digits, including Garrett Temple, TLC, DeAndre, Jordan.
So ah, lot of even contribution across the board here in this one s.
Oh, that's what you kind of want to see that repeat performance of again last couple of games against Thea.
The Nets are highlighting on the broadcast here.
Van Fleet, with 29 points in both shooting over 50% from the field, gave out 17 assists between the two games and also knocked down with a high rate of success from beyond the arc.
So keeping an eye on him while knowing you still now have to worry about Kara.
Going to be a good matchup we're hoping for.
A good matchup will come right back into it with tip off. Get underway.
Usual suspects starting here on both sides of the ball.
But we'll, of course, start to rotate in as they make the substitution.
Is working through the first quarter keeping an eye on the Jared Allen and DeAndre Jordan minutes share, and then also, who has the hot hand early for Brooklyn.
I, as always, a matter more work on the We got nits podcast reminding you head over to Twitter.

So many thanks for continuing to follow along with the We Got Nets podcast back in just a moment with tip off as we get underway from Brooklyn with the Nets hosting the Toronto Raptors just ahead of the All Star break to tip off.
We, of course, welcome any additional viewers as we start to build up the audience ahead of this one again.
Nets come in here 24 28 obviously, you know, may not feel like a big difference, but 25 28 when you talk about looking ahead at Thea, the upcoming schedule for this team, I think you really do start Thio.
Try to hone in on when can this team crest that 500 marks? So you know in the in the premise that they're able to get this big win here tonight against Toronto, Then you look ahead following the extent that All star break eight games off before the 20th.
When will take on Philly and we've done this before, so I'm not gonna go ad nauseum here, But then you'll get Charlotte, Orlando, Washington and Atlanta, So if they could get this win here and get to 25 28 then you think about that next five games stretch if you can.
You know a few wins in that run there specifically.
Charlotte, Orlando, Washington Even if you lose at Philly in Philadelphia, you could find yourself staring down.
Potentially as you move through there a little bit was the highlight.
The starting lineups here with Nuo, BC aacm Ibaka Lowry and Van Fleet.
So, Larry, back in, there wasn't any people.
I think you put in that last game as well for Toronto and then Harris, Prince Allen, Caris, Levert and Spencer Dinwiddie for your Brooklyn Nets.
So, uh, you know that being the case, I'm not going to overstate? As we have said, you know, this game that the Nets have to win it.
I think they came off a very nice victory there.
When you talk about the Indiana Pacers game and now, I think you just want to see another strong performance and have another opportunity.
I think if you're the Nets, you come into this one feeling like what you'd prefer to do is not find yourself trailing like you did needing toe have that big comeback in the fourth quarter just tow, have an opportunity to take a three pointer to maybe win that game.
So ah, that's really what you want to see.
It just even consistent play throughout.
As the tip gets underway, it is Ibaka winning that one and getting an over.
Ultimately, Kyle Larry.
They worked a two man game in the lane, pulling the string.
Coming up short, there was Ibaka.
Alan was present on the defensive end, the bench unit having a bit of a chuckle.
There in the quarters, this one gets underway so that bench camaraderie is Joe Harris slices through the lane past Van Fleet and gets to the rim there in a hurry.
So a very nice job there from Joe Harris starting out here fast.
As we said before, this has been ah, player in Joe Harris that has evolved his game a little bit and certainly is giving you Ah lot toe like they're kind of Lowry.
Attack in down the baseline will draw the foul against Alan gets there and that mismatch, and Lowry knows the best thing to do there is to attack quickly and try to put the big in an awkward position, which he does so to the line here.
And then we also note first foul on the Nets in the 11 10 mark, also the first foul coming against Jared Allen.
So these are the kind of things that you always pay attention to, especially when we talk about the bigs for Brooklyn.
Missing on the first, though there as a highlight.
Nick Nurse, 98 38 in his second season as the head coach for the Toronto Raptors, Larry connects on the second.
So on the board is Toronto and Spencer.
Didn't you'll get things going here for the Brooklyn Nets? Allen, out of the top of the key, works to two million game with Spencer game when he takes the bounce pass, goes down low with Ibaka, then kicks back out to the top.
And Spencer didn't when he cannot find the three ball they remember, 07 in the last game against the Pacers, in spite of having success of the line and also driving lane here in this one early at least, continuing those struggles, Ibaka gets the switch in the lane There.
Joe Harris tries to hold his ground little flip up and in for Ibaka and a three to early lead here as Alan sets the screen and Joe Harris comes up short on that three bowl, a little stymie there in the screen, so slightly disjointed.
See Aacm rattling in and out little long on that woman almost got a lucky bounce down and as quickly ahead with Spencer Day mediatory on Prince Gets his pocket picked their bye.
See ya Come and it will be brings it up ultimately before getting it back over to see Aquaman has Tori on print down defending him at the top of the Ark.
There has to give it up by the dribble, and then Joe Harris gets his hands on the lane between Kyle Lowry and he will get that steal.
Drops it off dispenser.
They end up working around as Toronto gets back on the defensive end.
That's a pull back out with liver to reset into the lane.
Little jumper goes rattling home for care.
He gets his first sure shot to go.
Excuse me as the Nets look to get their guys, especially Caris Levert in a rhythm here early.
Siachen backing down Tory on Prince gives up the dribble of the fadeaway bank.
Shot off the glass won't go see.
AACM starts out o of two to begin the game.
Spencer Dinwiddie up the floor with Van Fleet guarding against him for three lead here early, going 9 27 Mark Allen takes on Ibaka works into the basket.
Can't get it to go, and Ibaka ends up on the floor there.
Don't think there was one coming, but Alan cannot finish at the rim, so it's obviously one of those things to keep an eye on his back the other way.
Ibaka, stretching that floor out there beyond the arc, knocks down his 1st 3 pointer of the game, 64 of the 9 11 mark in favor of the Toronto Raptors Caris Levert and picked up here by and it will be, and you'll try to take him off the dribble.
Little flip shot there won't go, but Alan comes in from behind grabs.
That rebound, kicks out the touring on Prince who side steps, see aacm and then knocks down that three ball from the perimeter.
So a good start here for Tori on prints.
After giving up that turn over there.
He now connects from the outside and good rebound on the offensive end by Jared Allen and then finds a shooter on the outside.
Getting to the basket. There, he's having early success.
87 Joe Harris now works out of the lane against What's the defense? This time gets rejected by and Woe be, but it looks like he will pick up the foul here and it will be.
Well, take a look if it's going to be at the line or just decide out here.
So the foul came after the shot attempt and the block there against Joe Harris.
Inbounds play from Laverne Harris kicks over to Spencer Dinwiddie around the horn.
Coming up short there on that three ball from the outside, a good ball movement off the inbounds from Toronto.
They try to fire down low with See ya come in position against Spencer Dinwiddie air mailing that pass, but they're gonna call pushing the back on din witty in the lane.
That will be a side out here as now the second team foul.
It's first on din witty, and we do sit with the Toronto one team Foul, Brooklyn.
Now onto side out here from Kyle Lowry.
He'll look to get things going. Top of the key.
Nice job there by Alan To meet Ibaka.
Run him off the three line forces.
A sloppy play back the other way.
Easy open look from Tori on Prince in transition.
He cannot connect, and now Kyle Lowry looks to push the pace.
He gets up around Scoop won't go.
There is he splashes down along the baseline, and now Spencer den would.
He finds a wide open leak out from caress liver.
He gets it through on the flush 98 lead here for the Brooklyn Nets with 7 48 mark back and forth we go is the way the game initially started out back a couple of matchups ago there, where the Nets were trading buckets able to keep pace, and then it just slowly leaked away from them.
So we'll see here as Van Fleet takes the handoff from See Ya come and cannot convert on the three ball at the top of the key.
Another long past year from Spencer Dinwiddie.
Find story on Prince Euro steps his way past Jacome and gets himself to the bucket 8 11 now in favor of Brooklyn.
Their lead outs of three here and a nice job by this, at this case, the entrepreneur assist man Spencer Dinwiddie course, gathering up 11 of those in the last game as Ibaka just bodies down Tory on prints in the lane and Tori on does a nice job of having positioned there back and forth exchange with Van Fleet.
Alan caught on the switch but did a nice enough job of keeping himself in front of an fleet, forcing that dump off Ibaka with it with a match of advantage there.
But he turns and lowered his shoulder into Prince, and then they highlight here, too.
Great Outlet feeds one off to the left side of the floor.
There as Ah Caris, Levert leaked out.
And then on the following play, he found Tori on prints on the perimeter.
He slashes to the basket, gets that one to go so early.
Returns here so far at the 7 10 marks so approaching that midway point of the first quarter starting lineup has been pretty solid for the next two.
For three from Lover, giving You four points along with an assist already to assist for Din Witty and Jared Allen.
Allen picking up four rebounds as well, neither of them able to get into the scoring column yet.
Vittori on prints two for four, knocking down one of his already three point attempts.
33 point attempt.
Excuse me and then Joe Harris, one of three, got to the basket nicely, giving him two points as well.
Five points is the high man.
40 Baka Knock down that three ball early to prevent flee one for Lowry, and that gives the scorecard for the Toronto Raptors early going here.
41 nearly 42% for the Nets from the field.
Toronto shooting 37 a half Nets from the outside, struggling with just one of five.
And then you have, Ah, Toronto at 33%.
There rebounds about that.
Even 65 turnovers, though already three for the Toronto Raptors.
So a nice job here.
Early as we mentioned active hands, Ibaka loses, one going Malene.
Joe Harris disrupts Van Fleet, trying to get it over to Kyle Lowry gets in between breaks that one up leads out to some transition opportunity there for the Nets as well.
And listen, coming into this one of your training now, if you go back, I know that in the Indiana match up, it was a plus six and 1/2 game.
I think it was even a little bit more than that.
Remember, they were on the road in Toronto in this previous game, so you have to figure, I wanted to even say maybe it was close to seven and 1/2 or even plus eight for Brooklyn that match up on their home floor, still plus three and 1/2 year.
But the longer that they can play them, even in the early going, that bodes well for them, because I don't think that they lack confidence coming off that big performance from Spencer Dinwiddie.
Joe Harris with those threes be highlighted in the pregame coverage, no big chance for them to be in the thick of it down the stretch.
If you don't have to over exert yourself in the fourth quarter just to battle back, just tow, have the opportunity to come in and compete for a possible game winning shot.
By that point, you can be a little run down. You can be a little exhausted.
So the better and more even tempered that you play throughout the 1st 3 and 1/2 plus quarters is the better position you are in late in the fourth to have a chance for victory.
So we shall see if the Nets can continue this quality place.
So far as we said leading here in the early going, we also highlight as well talk about the 2 23 over under.
I mean that I have words up being about 28 points per quarter on average.
So be interesting to see how this second portion of the first frame goes.
Caris Levert dribbles and then hoist from three comes up short there and a nice rebound by Anna will be had.
Alan, their present who had gotten position, will reset these lineups here for you In a minute.
His butcher has checked in for the Toronto Raptors, and then Jo Hair is trying to crash but couldn't get it done.
I active hands thereby allow on Larry by Caris.
Levert breaks up that past looking for butcher.
He moves ahead to Joe Harris, now back in the hands of pervert attacking downhill at the rim kicks outside to Tori on.
Prince cannot connect, however.
Alan able to swat that one slightly loose, but ultimately it is butcher who comes away with that rebound.
Then how about a big hoist from Kyle Lowry? Early offense from Toronto? No good.
They're from well beyond the arc, and we now hit the halfway point of the first quarter.
Spencer Gemini hands off cross court pass territory on Prince, who hands off the Joe Harris now back out from would tend to shoot in the hands of Spencer Dinwiddie.
Alan sets that high screen, kicking it over to caress the vert fumbles a little bit with it.
Has Larry Autumn height advantage there rises up in the league? Can't get it to go.
Alan tried to fight for that rebound lover.
It ends up on the floor, but no.
Cole made a nice little bounce pass on the interior from the top of the Ark rate down into the lane from Lowry spots Butcher.
And he's able to go up for the easy lay in there, pulling Toronto back within one here, 11 10 5 35 to go.
No changes here for Brooklyn.
Yet at this point, we mentioned the one switch.
There was Butcher coming in for Toronto.
Quick swing around the perimeter from lover to the entrepreneur Spencer Dinwiddie, who knocks down his 1st 3 of the game.
Gets that one on the outside there to go, giving the Nets up 14 to 10 4 point advantage.
Come off glass on the baseline.
Can't get it to go.
This rebound rattles around some Brooklyn that's hands but ultimately claimed by Jared Allen.
Spencer Jim When he gets it over to again.
Caris Levert uses the Alan screen, kicks outside to Joe Harris, who cannot get it.
And then it is Jared Allen right there.
This one bounces off a couple of different hands.
Alan calling for it to be Nets ball.
However, it goes side out of bounds and will end up in Toronto's possession now.
Certainly, I'm not knocking so far early going here.
Well, you are seeing is Alan five himself in position on a number of these loose ball opportunities so far is unable to secure them here.
So very interesting to see how he could continue to assert himself on the interior because again he's doing the little things right to make sure that he's getting himself in the proper position.
And now I just need to get those hands on top of it.
There will be a review of that last play there.
I don't know if it's coming off Kenny actions and challenge or not, but it looks like they'll double check.
Who had that last touch there as it was Alan in a sea of raptors fighting for that loose ball, we say load a couple of the followers that, of course, have joined along with us here on the broadcasts.
Ah, there is Cubby Girl.
You've also got Joe 46.
How are your friends, Owen? Lexy poo? Oh, hey, good to see you.
These are the people that these the familiar faces that I've come to enjoy shouting out as we get these broadcasts underway.
We continue to have some nice success here.
And I hope everyone, of course, has been enjoying these broadcasts.
As we move along.
When we hit the All Star break just to give you that heads up once again we will be doing the coverage on the weekend talking about the skills competition.
Ah, okay. Sorry.
He defending his title in the skills competition.
You're also going to have Joe Harris defending his title in the three point shooting competition, so we'll take a look.
Ah, you know, if you are a local New York New Jersey area person, I happen to follow and listen to Michael K.
In the afternoons.
Peter Rosenberg is going to be doing a play by play call on the All Star game.
Ah, celebrity All star game on Friday night.
Maybe I'll take a look at what those rosters look like and see if I want to poke my head on that one just to have a little bit of fun.
We will also be planning a couple of other some crossover things here that I want to get into utilizing both the O.
B s platform and then a new additional platform that SportsCastrs gonna be updating at some point along the way here, do some crossovers try to get an extra voice in here on some of these game calls just to give you not only some other insights, some other perspectives, but hey, why not also someone else other than yours truly for 48 minutes of game action.
And may I also say, as thes familiar faces hanging out there for pleasure to follow you.
Thank you once again for supporting that.
We got Nets brand here as we stream on SportsCastr.
Game in and game out.
Take a look that replay off the fingertips of Jared Allen.
So that one's going to stay with the the Toronto Raptors, and we are also going to see Alan check out here.
He will be replaced by DeAndre Jordan.
One will, one would assume, and neither team that much foul trouble here.
Just two on either side of it.
We highlighted that Alan pick up that one dim when he had the others.
So no concern there in that regard.
Early early foul trouble on the net side of things will highlight as Garrett Temple has also come into the game for the Brooklyn Nets.
You got Chandler Jordan and Temple coming in alongside Spencer.
**** lady and Joe Harris.
So they swap out here and now.
Really, we talked about this a couple of times before on the podcast, so I want to make a little note of it different look lying up here having Temple and Wilson Chandler as Spencer.
Then we overshoots.
But it will be Wilson Chandler coming out that rebound.
Somebody looking for DeAndre Jordan on another alley oop attempt, unable to connect.
But Wilson Chandler gets that long rebound and now cross court fee to the Entrepreneur Bank.
Shot won't go on the three bowl.
It leaks out to Toronto, and Kyle Lowry, who runs the length, cannot get that look to go at the basket, though Rebound comes down into dinner with his hands, he gets it out, and Jo Hera soon finishes at the rack.
No running out on, Fortunately, nice effort there from Joe Harris, but he just could not complete that makes the third or fourth time now connected on a couple of them as Ah, Butcher is short on his three ball attempt that Spencer Dima he's had some long feeds here.
Wonder for something that he gleaned from that previous match up.
A lot of lead feeds here, going half 3/4 court passes and hitting some of his men and strive to get some easy looks and early offense.
Great feed their the baseline run from Joe Harris DeAndre Jordan with a nice bounce pass feed.
And now Harris gets that lay up to go here.
So continue strong effort and work on the offensive end from Joe Harris finding different ways to get himself on that score card.
Come takes Wilson Chandler down to the low block back.
***** turns and gets that one up off glass, 16 12 as you go up on three to play.
Alley oop attempt is good here.
The entrepreneur reaches into his bag of tricks for an assist.
He sends that letter through the air that lets DeAndre Jordan slipping into the box for him.
Nice conversion there after that sloppy one.
Just a few sequences ago here, losing track of the players.
And it won't be leaks into the lane there, and he will get ahead to the end of the rim there, before Joe Harris get into position.
Eight assists on a field goals for Brooklyn.
That's the kind of conversion rate you want.
Touch pass from Temple into Wilson Chandler for the corner. Three.
Still 18 14 4 point lead to 40 to go here in the first quarter, then fleet using the Butcher screen out front stumbles, almost loses.
It kicks back out to butcher who fires from the top of the key Nets will live with him, taking those three point shots over some of the other options on the floor.
Spencer **** when he works ahead, then drops that off together in the Temple of Threes, knocked down from the outside.
Spencer dim when he puts another assist in his pocket, and he has done a wonderful job getting that early looks for his teammates.
Nine assist on nine made field goals.
Time out here for Nick Nurses.
Toronto will talk some things over, and I just want to note here this Chandler Temple, uh, Jordan lineup, which really goes still with Joe Harrison Spencer doing on the floor.
You're going fairly defense if presence heavy right, using some size, using some length to combat the presidents of Booster to combat the presence of obviously See ya.
A play to play basis and then you still have Joe Harris there.
You still on Spencer? **** ready to try to pick up the likes of Lowry and Van Fleet.
Ah, and you kind of see who's gonna take on an M o b.
Who's gonna take on Butcher and SIAC? Oh, it's really a nice Ah, nice opportunity here for the Nets.
Defensively, tryto have that balance.
And as long as you can knock down a couple of these good looks and dim when he can keep facilitating the way that he is, you find yourself able to carry the thread here in the quote unquote second unit as we take a look here and I'll just hold on one second to turn off.
Got some clothes capturing, running across my screen overhead.
On this is Team USA invites by my team.
So this is just highlighting Durant hair urging three good for third or fourth their overall in the league.
So these guys were presence, although obviously, Kevin Durant didn't have anything to say there.
But, you know, just nice to see that some of these guys had participants who have been a part of the USA team.
A DRAM wasn't any part of this past year, Harris was, and he spoke to that.
We talked about a highlight and some of the early podcast, the experience that he got there and the value that he felt it brings to coming back to the Brooklyn Nets and trying to continue to build again the all around game Rondae Hollis Jefferson checks in along with McCall and Davis for the Toronto Raptors, along with Lowry and Ibaka, who remained out there to 15 to go here in the 1st 7 point lead.
20 ones of 14 Nets have been a very nice job on both ends of the floor, frustrating, having had too many miscommunications defensively.
This will be a kick outside, coming up short there on that three ball, however, so back the other way.
We will work as Ah, it was McCall missing there.
Excuse me, TLC working in around the threat there through Wilson Chandler.
Now the loose rebounds with his daughter, Jordan.
He quickly finds Garrett Temple, but cannot get that look to go at point blank range.
So nice job there from DeAndre.
Jordan, however, can't get converted now. TLC.
We'll have a conversation is he's checked into the game along with now Lover Temple Jordan and Wilson Chandler round out that lineup for the Nets here? Yeah.
Listen, TLC probably has an argument there.
You're talking about a veteran and Kyle Lowry and TLC.
Ah, not enough of an established name to not have that foul go against him.
Stretching through the lane.
They're from Rondae, Hollis Jefferson, Former Brooklyn Net.
He gets that look to go and brings the Toronto Raptors back within 5 to 21 to 16.
There's a camp on the final 1 15 to play here.
Liver over the Wilson Chandler.
Top of the key has Rondae Hollis Jefferson Benny against him.
Now he'll hand off and have a switch with R H J Defending against Garrett Temple Through Cares Laverne overto Wilson Chandler.
No options here.
Down in the shot clock.
T L C s the hoist.
Can't get it to go.
But another nice job by DeAndre Jordan securing the offensive rebound Ibaka Trying to deny him and DeAndre Jordan no flash through the lane and get the little baby Huck's ago.
No one appreciates it more on the bench than Jared Allen as he is up flashing the hook Sign Great child by DeAndre Jordan Securing that offensive rebound took another beat or two with Ibaka on his back before going to work against him and flashing into the lane three.
Bull is good there from the outside by Kyle Lowry.
So Toronto not going anywhere, 23 19 tears livered way off the mark on his quick three point attempt there and then flashing out the other way.
No foul call as it was a nice defensive transition there by the Nets final 18 seconds here.
That was Wilson Chandler doing a good job defensively, instructing that attempt there poked away Kyle Lowry against Carris.
Laverty re gathers in the backcourt, comes forward.
Eight to shoot over the Wilson Chandler too strong on the three ball DeAndre.
Jordan nearly gathers that in, but cannot.
So this will go over to Toronto with 3.
3 23 19 4 point advantage here down the stretch of the first quarter, and I start by the Nets and again close out strong.
Don't allow lowered a hoist as he does and comes up short.
So nearly 1/2 a half court shot there from Kyle Lowry at the end of the day.
A strong first quarter for the Nets.
We go quickly inside the numbers.
34% here, 34 a half percent from the nets, 36 a half percent from Toronto.
Neither team shooting terribly well from the field, neither team shooting well from beyond the arc.
20% for Brooklyn, 22% for Toronto.
You have four Turner's, however, for Toronto, just 14 Brooklyn's doing a nice job protecting that ball.
Slight advantage, 16 13 in favor of the Brooklyn Nets on the rebounding side of things.
So at the end of the day, this has been a quality start to this game.
We talk about Spencer Dinwiddie facilitating a number of different players, including Tori on prints, Garrett Temple knocking down from three balls from the outside.
And then, of course, Jo Hair is doing a nice job taking some of these lead pass is getting on the inside.
Got the night a couple of times, but it done.
The smart thing re gathered, pulled back out and has also connected on some of the opportunities as well.
So strong first quarter showing for the Nets.
Neither team again necessarily shooting the lights out.
But you're putting yourself in a position to have an advantage going to the second quarter, trying to keep moving forward with this, and if you stay active, especially on the defensive and mind you talked about the over under said.
There are 2 23 and 1/2 right now.
You would be on pace for well below that.
I say, Well, but, you know, talking about being closer to 180 180 total points here in this game, you expect that number to change in the second quarter and over the remainder of this one.
But I think the Nets have done a nice job for the most part on their defensive assignments and rotations.
They've broken up some of these attempts, and then one of the things that we were talking about when Alan was in the game, active on the glass, had some chances and couldn't gather them.
DeAndre Jordan comes in.
Listen, credit to him.
He gathered those offensive rebounds.
He found teammates for easy opportunities, and he also was able to go back up and get that beautiful little hook in the lane to go.
So nice job from DeAndre.
Jordan will come right back in the second quarter action as Brooklyn holds a 23 19 4 point lead at the end of the first second quarter action gets back up underway.
You're working around the outside, and it's Garrett in the temple of threes, flashing from the outside, connecting on his second of the game, giving the Nets, now 26 19 leads.
So a nice start here to kick off the second quarter.
If your Brooklyn again just 20% from the perimeter, able to connect on that one there and going forward, try to build a little bit.
That confidence up one and done for Toronto.
Rebound, secured by Jordan gets it up to court to caress Levert.
He will flash inside the lane and get that little hook on the baseline to go star jumper on the baseline to go a nine point lead marking there.
Biggest lead of the game so far.
Brooklyn, Starting this second quarter off on a high note, knocking down their 1st 2 shots.
Van Fleet trying to set up the offense.
He'll work around the outside. Wilson.
Chandler has picked him up there, giving go between he and Ibaka now tries to use the screen, goes opposite direction swings outside Sam McCall off the mark on the three ball.
Wilson Chandler comes down with that, and tries to protect against and successfully does Macaw as he wants to try to get his hands in there and maybe get a quick little steel on the defensive side of things.
Liver, now into the lane, gave up his dribble turnaround.
Fadeaway is good and Laverty knocks down, is back to back shots here for the Nets again in this second unit leader on the Bull, facilitating the offense and playing with confidence.
TLC is going to swap his hand in there and kick that one away.
This will come back side out for Toronto, but a good job here with an fleet defending against him.
This is really we talked about just confidence building for Caris, Levert and the idea that he could be someone that can really be a productive and consistent player, especially on the offense event for Brooklyn.
He's shown it three out of the last four games and looks to do it again here.
Wilson Chandler defending against Ibaka on the outside, The flash into Rondae, Hollis Jefferson.
Nice job there by TLC Swanson right out of the hands of Hollis Jefferson.
And this will be another side out here.
Very effective very authoritative.
He doesn't hesitate with it, goes straight through, gets the ball, and this will be a side out.
30 1911 point lead for Brooklyn.
Over the top goes Van Fleet, now out there on the perimeter, works back inside civilian fleet.
He can't get that runaway to go loose.
Scramble, however, as Ah Garrett Temple on Wilson Chandler.
Maybe both kind of fighting for that loose rebound couple of Toronto Raptors were present there, and that was Davis who worked.
That passed down into Van Fleet, and we'll see where this foul called goes as we are now in the second quarter.
I think they'll say that 1 may have gone against DeAndre Jordan, down in on the inside side, out here, tend to shoot.
Then fleet, with Temple guarding against them, rises up and knocks down.
That three head in the face from Temple Didn't bother Van Fleet, though, and it's a 21 to 30 game now as we come up under 10 to play hitting that 9 50 mark cares.
The vert on the ball protects gets in the lane.
JJ rise and this will be a foul call, though on the floor here.
Nice job by Carris.
Got into the lane.
Didn't commit a travel as we Sometimes we're concerned about this.
One will go against McCall aside out here for Brooklyn and again try to get those fouls piling up on both sides.
Give yourself a chance to get to the line for some easy looks.
Handoff from Jordan Tolliver.
Tolliver kicks out the temple, gets his feet tangled a little bit there, but manages to keep his balance over the Wilson Chandler TLC now has Van Fleet against them, stumbles to the ground, protects and then tries to throw away.
And they're not gonna call anything here, See if they get that time alcohol and they do so I wasn't sure if they were going to allow it.
There's as TLC that a good job securing it.
No, they're going to say just a turn over there so they say, may have committed that travel is he fell to the ground trying to protect that bull.
That sequence there, but overall, and that's continue to play a solid basketball here at both ends.
Ron Hollis Jefferson given tons of space from DeAndre Jordan, not a threat to shoot in the mid range.
Wilson Chandler taking Van Fleet off the dribble.
Tries kick outside Tirana.
Hollis Jefferson steps away.
It'll be Garrett Temple breaking out.
Can't get that look to go, but a nice rebound from Caris.
Levert over to the corner for TLC.
Look for the flip up and in no coal clean block from on the Hollis Jefferson.
You're not breaking out, Finds Van Fleet on the wing.
He knocks at three down from the side.
And just like that, the 11 point lead will fall to 6 30 24 As Kenny I intended out there on the floor, having a strong conversation with the referee about that foul called did not happen on the offensive end.
DeAndre Jordan right there rushed out of his coaches hip, I think, more than anything, probably to prevent Kenny Atkinson for picking out the technical foul so you see how quickly Toronto can move transition in this offense.
We highlighted the start.
Still need to be aware of these smaller guards that are going to shoot from that outside with consistency.
Van Fleet knocks down a couple back to back there, and now that's still have themselves in the lead here, but 30 24 neither just kind of settle themselves down, re gather, make sure you're getting consistent and solid looks on the offensive end s O that you avoid any type of letdown after what has been a strong start here through nearly 1/4 and 1/2 of action.
Then we'll go inside the box score here over the commercial break, highlighting over on the ah Toronto Raptors side of things starting lineup showing pretty nice balance their van fleet with seven now after those 23 bowls Larry, 45 for Ibaka and 44 in a row B and then see ya.
Come having a slow and quiet start just one of five from the floor at the beginning, off this one for a sister rate for Lowry.
You flip over the other side of things and we were talking about this, uh, nine for their 1st 9 assists.
Two made field goals for the Nets.
They now have 10 on a total of 13 made field goals, shooting 38%.
You talk about Spencer Demon in the starting lineup.
He has four assists.
Even with Lowry in that regard and the starting rotation.
Overall, though, eight points for Revert four of eight shooting now getting some nice volume going for himself finding this rhythm.
Four for Harris, five for Tori on prints.
But that second unit DeAndre Jordan, already with four readouts to assistant four points and then you talk about Garrett Temple.
He's given you eight minutes of action.
Two of 52 for three from beyond the arc.
Worries down his damage, also came up with the steal and is giving you six points worth noting.
Also, hear Caris.
Levert didn't look the little sluggers there to start now, finding his rhythm in that mid range game has also come up with two rebounds to assistant to steal.
So working on a very nice stat line here for himself, if he can continue to find a way to both be accurate and consistent shooting on the offensive end and then also looked at half of extra feeds and passes because players on the other team are going to key in on you, you're gonna find yourself in a congested lane, and that's when you need to be able to kick out to the perimeter because you know that there's an open shooter there available for you.
Now back on their way here, Revert works into the lane.
Has McCall on his hip.
Doesn't matter, flips it up it in from just inside the foul line there.
Nice job by Caris Levert as he continues to ride his hot hand in the third quarter.
Now three made field goals to get things going as we approach the midway point.
Nice giving go there and Rhonda Hollis Jefferson cleared for take off down the lane.
He flashes through and gets that flush to go, keeping this one at six point advantage 30 to 26 for Brooklyn Caris.
Levert again goes to work as this one poked away, however, from the backside, DeAndre Jordan will quickly reach out and take that foul on there.
I think that that marks now the third team foul for Brooklyn, and if you are, that may also be number two going against DeAndre Jordan.
Check back and see with that little scrum that happened underneath the basket on the defensive end following a missed field goal opportunity.
Whether or not Jordan picked that one up been very effective so far to this point coming off the bench.
Fan fleet works his way through the lane, maybe had a chance to pull the trigger on that.
With Temple trailing but does not uses the or H J screen fires a three over DeAndre.
Jordan cannot connect, and Levert will call with that rebound.
He finds Wilson Chandler, who goes ahead and drives himself into the lane there, used the baseline, thought about the three.
Got past his man.
And there's Wilson Chandler, who did not have any points in that previous match up.
Obviously on known for his offense first, but nice to see him still be playing with confidence.
Assertive goes to the rim as the Nets have a 22 to 14 advantage over Toronto for points in the paint.
Another three ball from Toronto.
Another missed three bowl from Toronto cares Laverne again working this offense.
TLC Wilson Chandler out there with him, along with DeAndre Jordan and Garrett Temple Wilson.
Chandler brings it back over to Caris.
Levert has been fleet against into the lane.
Bank shot too strong off the back iron, and it will be breaking out in a hurry and then just losing that one.
Clean out of bounds.
They're gonna call foul here against TLC.
Boy, I thought he put himself in good position, and then ultimately, it really did just kind of feel like that was a ah lost bowl out of bounds.
However, it will be a foul cold there.
And I think if I've been Adami's upright, next foul could be bonus for the Toronto Raptors.
As it stands, they will, of course, be going to the line here as that foul is in.
The act of shooting short on the first is Davis, so he'll have an opportunity here to get Ah, one of two and pull Toronto a little bit closer.
And it will be comes back in the game here, replacing Rondae Hollis Jefferson on the net side of things Spencer Jim Woody has now check back into the game with Prince Temple, Jordan and channel on the floor.
So he played replaces.
Excuse me, Caris Levert at the 6 55 mark in the second, a seven point lead, 34 27 1 or two from the line.
Wilson Chandler Get That's the DeAndre Jordan feet at the Fallon but cannot connect on the mid range jumper.
Not a bad look, but pretty quick there.
Come in the game.
Has Wilson Chandler defending against him, Kick outside.
Ibaka thought about it, then pulled back the toe and connects on that three.
A decent presence outside there but unable to prevent that one from going down.
Just a four point advantage now.
6 25 34 30 Brooklyn Nets leading clean look on the Dandridge on the Spencer Dimwit.
If you'd excuse me for Garrett Temple, he can't find the rhythm from three c.
Aacm gets it down low there, and then it will be fumbles through the lane.
Losing that one again.
Garrett Temple had a look at the three.
Gives it up over the touring on prints the top, and it's out into the corner for Can't Say hi, de ho, good neighbor.
As Wilson Chandler is called for the foot out of bounds.
They're great extra feed from Temple to Tori on Prince.
He hits in the corner and wow and credit to the referees.
I'm sure they're looking for those every single time just to be safe, but just the touch of that hell dressing gently on the white baseline here for Wilson Chandler, and that would've been a nice one air ball there on the three from Toronto and see Aacm.
But, man, that would have been nice.
One is to get Wilson Chandler going here a little bit.
Had that runner off the baseline that he connected on, though missed from an opportunity from the outside.
So I would like to see that go for him.
Jared Allen's back into the game Here he is alongside As we said, joined now by Joe Harris, is well with Spencer, Dinwiddie, Wilson, Chandler and Tori on Prince Allen recovers the Wilson Chandler missed, But can I get back up there? See ya.
Come in the air.
Giving up the dribble fires out to the outside.
Davis unable to get that three ball to go.
Tori on Prince cleans the glass up there ahead.
Quickly. Dispenser Dimwit.
He he circles into the lane and flashes back out, runs off baseline, tries to bank that one in slapped outside by Jared Allen.
And they're gonna say, Looks like the big man will get hit with foul number two here, and that will not be bonus just yet that maybe the that may be the fifth team foul there.
So keep an eye on Ah, the next foul call.
That comes 15 and 42 3rd extent for the Nets and 34% for Toronto Raptors being out shot here.
From an opportunity standpoint, as Davis gets in there on the interior against Alan, can't get it to go, and it looks like they're going to say all offensive foul here against Ibaka as he fought for the loose rebound with Tori on Prince, I was going to say, Could have been a situation there if Ah Prince got too cold for that foul.
Put him over the limit, get a box of the line instead signed out here for the Nets of foul picked up by Ibaka and ah, four point advantage of the five minute mark in the first half.
Davis up on Tori on prints that kick outside to Joe Harris.
Quick feet to Jared, and he gets in the lane.
Foul is called and we'll see if this one goes against Anna will be or Serge Ibaka would be another quick foul there on Ibaka.
This Woody Allen was just five to shoot on the clock going to the line to sheet, too.
So nice pass off their, though, from Joe Harris on that outside again.
When he gets those in position around the perimeter, you know that defenders are going to bleed out towards him.
Wanted to prevent that three ball attempt.
And so it gives Jared down a little bit of space and a little bit of advantage to in terms of quickness and time and going in the basket.
He does so well, gets the foul, knocks down the first and is good on the second.
Let's get that lead back out to six year, 36 to 30 as we are under five minutes to play in the first Nets, just marking now their 1st 2 free throws.
So not a lot of fouls being committed by Toronto, and certainly not a foul, A lot of fouls being committed on shooters.
This one comes up short here for Toronto and quickly back the other way. We will come.
That's Lowry missing on the turnaround in the late Spencer Dinwiddie over to Tory on Prince extra feet of the corner for Wilson Chandler.
He fires across to Joe Harris, Joe Harris, Alto Auri on.
Prince tries to give that bounce Pass rate back.
Broken up by See ya Come breaking out two on three.
Siachen Flash through the lane Pass Spencer Dinwiddie Good and through a Siachen tries to find himself a little bit of rhythm here.
Quick Outlet pass ahead to Joe Harris.
He gets it right back to Spencer Dinwiddie.
Elevation Bank shot is good for the pro who knew right where to go with that feed through and true, and I'll go back in line with the end.
One opportunity as that one was right there on the edge of the rim.
And you knew, if Ibaka or see ya come here.
It looks like Siachen is gonna get hit with that touch.
Foul on the arm sweeping through.
Great job by Alan gets that one and then is fading down off the Red Little Bank.
Shot off the backboard.
Chance to extend the lead for the Nets out to seven here at the line, rattling that one home.
So he's good there.
Gives the Nets the seven point advantage and also is now representing all of the free throws for the Nets.
Three for three from the line for the big man.
So Nets, in recent games on a much better job converting at the line, said That's been an issue for them throughout the start of this season.
Midway point and beyond in this season is Alan secures the rebound off the short three point attempt from Toronto.
Out ahead, it scares liver working with Spencer.
Dinwiddie now returns the feed, uses the Alice screen, works in the lane bank, shot and rattling in for Spencer Dinwiddie.
The entrepreneur gets down low and goes ahead and elevates for his own shot here.
And this is what we talk about.
Terms of having multiple tricks to go to in your bag keeps defenders off balance where they have to think about, is it going to be? And now you've opportunity.
Is he gonna kick it? Outsiders.
You're gonna go to the hoop for himself.
This had Davis against him waiting for David's.
They kind of glide into him towards him a little bit.
Knew we had the space and time to get elevated on that little jumper.
That it was good second foul picked up here on the defensive end for Spencer Dinwiddie, too.
In the game inbounds play Lowry in the air on the three kicks outside to Angelo Be.
You cannot connect there from the perimeter.
Rebounded By Jared Allen Spencer Dinwiddie Inventory ON Prince kicks back outside Spencer Dimwit.
He will settle down here for a second survey.
It now takes on future Strong to the rim.
Alan flashes through for the rebound on the dimwit he missed.
He'll get the story on Prince, who elevates wildly and then looks at that pal. Call.
There will go against Butcher.
Allen comes flashing through looking for that rebound and nearly came down right on top of Butcher.
So could have been a dangerous play after the whistle, just in terms of, you know, want not wanting to see someone get hurt.
Allen's trying to position stumbles a little bit, and then it looks like he narrowly avoids Butcher as you show the replay circuits attempt by Tory on prints to get that one to go flashes off front rim.
So another foul call.
They're both teams in the bonus now, so we have gotten there that dimwit he foul ah added up as well.
So the 306 mark both teams will be shooting free throws for the rest of the way.
First foul is good.
Time out cold here.
10 point lead, 42 to 32.
That's doing good things in the early going here, and we're just 306 to play in a double digit advantage.
Need to see them.
See this, the one out to halftime controlling this lead and at least keeping yourself in that 7 to 10 point advantage.
You know, as we saw how quickly the Toronto Raptors through Van flee even through Ibaka has knocked down a couple already in this one can get themselves right back into a game with a couple of those perimeter shots.
We can talk about a couple of stat lines here.
We know that it's had a chance to beat the Toronto Raptors in their previous match up.
The Raptors have won 15 games in a row, scoring at least 105 points in every game, the only teams in NBA history with longer streaks, Then that in which they scored more than 105 points in every single one of those games with 71 72 Lakers, who went 17 straight games winning while scoring 105 and the 1959 1960 Celtics, who had 16 along with the 70 71 bucks who had 16 as well.
So if they were to get to the finish line here with a W for Toronto on could get over 105 they begin themselves a great opportunity to continue a streak that, I mean, really, you think about the last time this happened was in 71 72 Those kind of records.
When they flash up on the screen, you go.
This team is doing something right, because really, what it means is, you're just winning.
You're also winning with consistency.
It means your being in rhythm on the offensive and putting up consistent numbers, giving yourself a chance to get W's.
As we know, the Nets could have snapped this a couple of games ago.
Put back so close, Joe Harris comes up short, redeems himself immediately that following game, though, so nothing to worry about from that standpoint, as they say, we also know that that 1 19 1 18 game you say scoring at least 105 1 19 1 18 victory over Brooklyn back on the eighth Well, it was their 1st 14 straight one.
Excuse me? They are 18 and one against the Nets since the 2015 2016 season is the best record by any team in the N B A.
Against a team from the same conference over that span.
So Oh, excuse me.
I said earlier, they highlighted Ah, you're gonna have the All Star weekend coverage.
He won the skills challenge back in 2018.
Joe Harris wanted in 2019 So Ah, Spencer, **** it.
He will be looking to take that crown back.
I don't believe you competed in it last year, so he's gonna get the chance to do so again.
This season is they've been showing some highlights of the Vince Carter dunk contest.
My goodness, Windmill from underneath the baseline.
Then, of course, the through the legs stretches out points to the sky as if to say, Good night, everybody.
I'll take home that crown.
Big delay there following the time out.
Those stymie Tori on principle, he knocks down the second free throw nets are on now a 70 Rome which has led to this 43 30 to 11 point advantage Final three minutes here in the first half.
It is Kyle Larry Mismatch in Lane against Alan.
Good job buyouts.
Keep his ground there.
Bounces off the front rim.
Tori on principle, exit over to tiu care silver.
He breaks out in a hurry and get that scoop up in and at the other end.
45 30 to 13 point lead here for Brooklyn Cares Lover is at a very nice second quarter for himself.
A little slow there at the start has found his rhythm going to the hoop and also those mid range jumpers.
Story on Prince goes to the ground defending against SIAC Um, Alan flashes over to assist, but the bank shot is good.
11 point lead to 21 in the first.
Spencer Jim What he has and it will be defending against them.
He works his way into the lane, gets the switch against Butcher now and pulls him back outside.
We'll see who tries to cross him up. Attack.
He goes between the legs, goes baseline here.
Defender meets him and it's gonna be an o.
He's gonna pick up that foul. Tried to flag down the baseline.
Almost about 1/2 step late for Anna will be.
He did a fantastic job Butcher working down the baseline with Spencer Dinwiddie, and then Anna will becomes raid over to block him off.
But he's just a hair.
Lee can't get himself into positions of catching Spencer Dinwiddie in the nose there with an armor and elbow so dimwit he connects on that first free throw and extends the lead out to 12 46 to 34.
As we always say with you, 09 To go here in the second quarter following the conclusion of the second quarter will run through some quick numbers as Spencer Dane when he misses the first free throw for the Brooklyn Nets this evening.
So it stays at 12 46 34 we are at the final two minutes.
Siachen works inside bank shots good against Tori on prints.
That size advantage is there.
I think if you're the Nets, you're just living with it, saying battle as hard as you can try to prevent some of those opportunities.
But the end of the day, see, Hakim's gonna get hiss.
Tory on Prince takes that feed from a Spencer dimwit and gets cold four steps.
It looks like they're now down to a 10 point lead.
1 46 We talk about pushed it as high as 12 year, but that quick turnover from Prince and now all of a sudden with a two or three here as CEO comes left wide open and can't get it to go.
Butcher flashes through, though, and grab that rebound kicks back outside to see Jacome.
He'll take Tori on Prince down into the lane, collapses down there with Tori on his hip, and it looks like Prince is gonna pick up another foul here.
Want to check in to see how many he has here to start this game had him a little bit on the forearm there, although you know the same time, Siachen does reach back and put his hand on princes hip.
Nevertheless, it will be Siachen that the line 1 31 to go 10 point game 46 36 hours can get his lowest ate here.
That's just need to look to have two more quality offensive possessions, regardless of what Toronto does on the offense event for themselves.
If you could just get a couple of quality looks here, get a bucket or two.
You can still have this 7 10 point lead as you go to the break.
As I was saying when we conclude this second quarter, I'll run through some stat lines here quickly for you will step away, take a nice little breather at halftime and then come back in and we'll do.
We have been doing here in the broadcast.
I will shut down this broadcast completely.
Reboot with a fresh one for the second half of action just to make sure we don't have any technical difficulties run into a couple of those over the past couple of games.
So I just decided to do this format to make sure that we don't have any glitches along the way.
Good from both their custom lead to eight for Siachen, 46 38.
It is Caris Levert now event fleet on his hip.
He works in the lane, tried to dump off tow Alan.
This one will roll off of Butcher as Toronto got revert in the air instead of a turnover.
Though side out with 3.
Like we said, need tohave a quality possession here, Laverne Inbounds, Tow Alan, and they're going to go ahead and turn that one rate over three on one.
Butcher breaks out, and there is the Bucket 46 to 46 point game.
One minute of action here to go in the first is whether that's exit that deep breath, settle themselves down and get a quality offensive possession.
Alan steps out to offer the screen no dice over to Joe Hairs from Revert front rim, and it looks like Joe Harris is gonna get fouls here on that three bowl.
So he'll go to the line with an opportunity to push this back out to nine for the Nets as a lower.
He gets hit with that and has a conversation with the referee saying, I don't feel like that was necessarily We'll get a look at the replay here in a moment.
Well, they're already gonna go.
Joe Harris here at the lines.
We'll see if they show that replay to get a look at it.
And Joe Harris is good on the first 47 40 51 seconds.
So two for one opportunity, obviously coming for the Toronto Raptors here down the stretch, and that's what makes these free throws all that more important.
And connecting on the second is Joe Harris, 48 40.
That's it, miss just one free throw here in the first half.
Very strong sign from them.
Three for three.
Was Jared out so continued sharp shooting from the line? Joe Harris is good on all three of his, and it's a nine point advantage as the net.
So to get themselves back on the defensive end and set up here prevent Fleet in Toronto.
As again, they have an opportunity.
Just have a quality possession.
They don't need to rush here.
It'll be a organized two for one, I don't know.
50 with 50 plus seconds there.
We can work through their offense, get a good shot off and then still find themselves with about 10 seconds and turn over here.
Though Harris and liver combined on lowered a force that turnover kick outside Satori on Prince, he goes to Din Witty, and then he'll fire down the baseline out to remember Joe Good to go from the corner.
And, you know, Joe has been feeling these last couple of games, a fist pumping high five with, ah, Jared Allen's that get back set on the defensive end.
Fantastic job thereby.
Spencer Jin, When you took that feed, Victoria on prints, burst down that baseline, got in the air and then found his man in the corner who was good and true from three.
Here is Kyle Lowry attacking Jared out of the basket.
Rebound story on Prince.
The half court heave long and strong, but nevertheless.
And that's do a fantastic job We talked about you get that 8 10 point lead.
You want to maintain it.
Joe Harris gets fouled out on the perimeter, knocks down three of those good ones.
And then Spencer did what he finds him in the corner Van Fleet leak getting out and Joe Harris flashes the three and lets you know Bang another good one from the outside for Joe Hairs.
Let's dive in on those numbers before we step away here at halftime.
This has been a very nice start here for the Brooklyn Nets.
We get inside those box scores to tell you it is Joe Harris now, with 10 points following that six point burst there to close out the first half.
He's 37 That's his 1st 3 pointer that he knocked down there.
But again, good fromthe line three for three has given you a couple of rebounds on the defensive glass.
And also comp with the steal.
Another steal their for Tori on Prince, who gave you seven points.
Just one of five from beyond the arc, two of six overall also got to the line.
Knocked down his free throws, kicked in three rebounds to go along with it.
