Hello, everybody, and welcome to the broadcast.
I'm Santa Reese right here on SportsCastr.
And what a night we got ahead of us.
Three games in prime time tonight here on SportsCastr for the TBL.
Two games at 7 p.m. Eastern time.
We got Dallas taking on Jamestown, Tampa Bay against Raleigh and 8 p.m. Eastern.
It's Tri State against Owens.
Borrow their really supposed to be four games on dock tonight, but the Columbus Condors and Deaton flight game got postponed due to weather.
So the Battle of Ohio will have to hold off until we wait and see when that game will be rescheduled.
But still a whole slate of games in front of us tonight as we two kicks off in the Basketball League and one entertaining week. One. It Waas.
We got three games tonight.
I let the preview one of those three.
That would be the Tampa Bay Titans against the Raleigh Firebirds.
The Rally Firebirds will be hosting tonight's game against Tampa Bay, and so far both of these teams are winless.
Tampa Bay coming in with a record of Owen, one Raleigh with the record of Owen, too.
And there's actually gonna be a doubleheader.
This were back to back games, I should say, this weekend between these two teams they played tonight and tomorrow night, both games in Raleigh and despite both of these teams without a win, you know it's Raleigh lost to Indy Express, 1 24 to 102 But then, in their last game a couple days ago, they only lost by three to the Owensboro thoroughbreds by a final 1 19 to 1 16 That was a thrilling ending that, you know, came down to the final seconds.
Tampa Bay, meanwhile, losing their opening game 1 11 to 90 against the Gulf Coast Lions.
And this is the first.
Both teams have been on the road so far to start the season.
You know, Rollie, they have two losses, but they're averaging 109 points per game in their 1st 2 games.
In you know, the first week of action goes to show you how exciting the Tvl is.
Just a lot of offensive powerhouses and just up and down action.
That's been really thrilling.
But the fire burns showing us they can produce on the offensive end of the floor, and meanwhile for the Tampa Bay Titans.
They have two out of the three leagues leading scorers so far.
Bassel Harf Ouch! With 27 points in their opener, and tomorrow it bones with 25.
So you gotta watch out for the Titans as well.
Bones at 53 pointers in the India, and they're opening game against Gulf Coast.
Meanwhile, for the rally Firebird Shack dance, averaging 25 points per game in the 1st 2 games for the Firebirds and looking at the rebounding side of things, you definitely got to give the edge to Raleigh.
Leonard averaging eight defensive rebounds per game.
Jemele McAllister averaging six and also for right for Raleigh.
They have effective three point shooting.
Kenny Collins averaging 53 pointers again.
Jonathan Milligan, also with five.
So, you know, I think the theme tonight is gonna be offense, offense, offense.
I mean, it's really hard to argue that because these two teams have shown us what they can do on offense, and, you know, one of these teams tonight is going to get their first win.
It should definitely be interesting with these two teams facing off back to back nights, but you know Raleigh.
There, they're averaging 109.
Has I said Tampa Bay have two out of three legally and scores.
So, yes, both these teams don't have a winner.
I know it's early on in the season.
There's not a lot to judge by, but these games are important Already.
The TBL season in comparison to the N v.
A is very short.
So every game matters in the regular season, in the in the push for the playoffs.
And ultimately, I think there's gonna be a back and forth game very, very high scoring.
I think both teams are gonna easily get past the 100 mark, although we'll have to wait and see.
I think it's you're gonna be really tough for Rollie Thio deal with the duo of Harf Ouch and Bones.
So, ultimately, I do think the Titans get the edge tonight.
I think they will get their first win of the season.
It is in Raleigh, so that could definitely play a factor with these two teams playing tomorrow night as well.
We'll see if they split the Siri's or if one of the two teams take both games.
I think we have a split.
I think these air to relatively even evenly matched teams.
If you look at the stats after two games played, you know it won't be easy for Tampa Bay to contain Raleigh's high power offense, either.
But I think that that duo for Tampa Bay, between Harvey Rollie, will have what it takes to stop them.
I know Tent that they had 98 points in their first game, which is still pretty good, but I think they were just warming up.
I think tonight's the night were they where they really get it going with that duo.
And I think the Titans ultimately get the wind, but we shall see tip off at 7 p.m.
Eastern time here on SportsCastr, one of three prime time games tonight.
The TVL is on and rolling week to kicking off tonight.
So make sure you catch the action here on SportsCastr.
We should have a great weekend of action between to really do, uh, teams that you know are often not the best of starts but have shown that they have potentially the Albany Patroons, Of course, the defending champions.
But we, too, should be a fun one in store for us.
Thanks so much, guys for tuning in.
It's the Tampa Bay Titans again
