Obviously, the Chiefs won and the injury got his first of all, one of the great coaches in the game.
And this was the first Chiefs win since 1969 Superbowl for 50 years.
It's been, Ah, long time coming.
And if you guys watch good morning football, you seen, um, Kay Adams, one of the host, her interview with the Hunt family. It was amazing.
They were super excited to finally ah, Horse of the Lamar Hunt trophies in a long time.
Obviously found a day of phone was there for the merger.
I mean, this team has been part of the NFL, the NFL for a long time, and for them toe take 50 years to get to the Super Bowl.
And whether Super Bowl, it was probably very special for the Hunt family.
So recapping this game, the first half was a really good first half.
Um, you noticed that when it was 10 to 10 a half time, you could tell it was gonna be a fight to the end.
There was only one turnover, and it was Jimmy's interception.
The 40 Niners had a decent run game.
It wasn't like it was against the Vikings and the Packers in the first half, but they got the run game going.
They even after Jimmy G's interception, they were able to take it 80 yards in seven plays that tie it 10 10 before the half.
Patrick Holmes was a little bit off, but the Chiefs and the 40 Niners both look good.
So the second half is where it actually got interesting.
This is where the game really took off, and it really everyone really got everyone on their toes and excited for the game.
So the 40 Niners came out, got field goal and then suddenly forced Patrick Mahoney's to throw two interceptions in back to back series.
So Petrova homes doesn't really throw interceptions.
I'm pretty sure that was his one of his first ones in, uh in the postseason in general.
So I'm thinking, Oh, well, you can never count out pressure my homes.
That's just not something you can do, especially after watching him against the Texans come back from 24 21 It's phenomenal the way that he played.
You just can't ever count him out.
But there was this part of me when I was watching the game, thinking, Oh, the 40 Niners are such a strong team.
Their defense is strong, you know.
They're run game strong, their past games pretty good that this game possibly is over.
It just that's just my hobby.
But like I said, you can never count out petrol bombs.
And then suddenly they're forcing the 40 Niners appoint two possessions in a row and they score back to back touchdowns.
So suddenly it's 24 to 20.
And I'm like, Well, that changed fast.
I cannot believe that.
So you're everyone works 24 20 and years.
Oh, there's 2 45 left on the clock.
The 40 Niners are just gonna go down and they're going to score.
They're gonna run it out like a clock management.
Have they done the past few games? It's gonna be over.
Patrick Holmes isn't gonna get the ball again.
And the 40 Niners are gonna run out the clock and they're gonna win.
Well, 40 Niners turned over.
So what? What did the Chief Sue to plays? Samuel Williams scores a touchdown? It's shocking.
You're just literally like how the 40 Niners let this happen.
This huge style defense, the note says.
To stop the run has a decent secondary.
It's like, How did they let this happen? So then it's 31 20 and there's a minute left on the clock.
So basically, the game is over at that point, and I really think that this Super Bowl actually did live up to the hype.
I feel like there was a lot of hype around it because this was to the two strongest teams in the NFL.
And you thought, well, the 40 Niners weren't gonna do anything this season, and then they go 13 and three, make the Super Bowl and Kansas City made the AMC Championship last year and had a really, like, awful ending for them.
So you're thinking, Oh, they're going to come back with revenge and they're gonna end up making the Super Bowl this year? Well, they did so the simple had some questionable calls.
I know 40 Niner stands are probably like, Well, what about that called with Kittle Right before halftime, NFL was just inconsistent.
That's what it is there.
So if you think of the Vikings call against the Saints, there was a push off at the very last play that ended the game, and they didn't They didn't review it.
They didn't call it.
But the end they call the pass interference offensive pass interference on Kittle.
It's just shocking.
The NFL needs to really do something about this, like you need to start not not firing the rest, but possibly like punishing them.
They don't make like tons of money.
So if you were to find them, maybe they would start realizing what they do wrong.
They need to start being more consistent or else it's gonna cause a lot of problems.
But the 40 Niners team just fell apart.
They really they were strong for the first half and they were decent through the third quarter.
And then I don't know what happened in the fourth quarter.
I mean, they literally give up 21 unanswered points.
It's like I'm thinking maybe it was their inexperience.
Or maybe they were just tired.
Or maybe it was just this Mahomes magic that everybody knows that he has.
I mean, like, he said, he came back the last two games down 10 points down 24 points.
He has this magic that's just impossible to duplicate.
But I also think that it was affording underst defense, kind of falling apart with because of their inexperience, because they are more of a younger team.
The chief's defense, in my mind, was a superior defense in this game.
They showed up when they needed to.
They made stops.
They didn't stop the run game, but they slow down.
The run game like that should forcing Jimmy Gina past, which created turnovers.
They had two interceptions, so they made stops in course turnovers.
They slowed the run game.
They didn't everything that they had to beat this boarding under seem they were the one team all season, especially in the playoffs, that we're ready for the 40 Niners run Game 40 Niners able to run down everybody's throat.
They have 300 yards rushing.
Every single game, almost religious, didn't allow that.
They did not allow run game.
They forced you need you to pass, put him under pressure.
So I'm starting to question a little bit.
Why Patrick Holmes got an M v P.
I mean, they normally also just go to the quarterback naturally.
But the thing is, is that Daniel Williams was a huge part of the chief's team now.
Obviously, this was a team when the defense had to stop the 40 Niners from getting points for Kansas City.
Be able to come back and the homes have his magic times.
But Damian Williams, Hey had on the receiving end.
He had four receptions for 29 yards and a receiving touchdown.
And then on the rushing side, he had 17 carries, 104 yards.
And not to mention he literally had the game sealing touchdown on the to play Dr that the Chiefs had.
He stood out a lot this game, and I know Patrick Holmes is this great quarterback.
But he did not play to his full strength and his full ability until halfway through the fourth quarter, when they started making that come back.
If he played the way that he played all season and the way that he played the second half of the fourth quarter, I don't think this game would have been a CZ closest.
It was right now I think it would have been, you know, 42 20 or so, something like that to wear.
The chief just outplayed the 40 Niners but Patrick Holmes did not play like he normally does.
So I think that the M V P should have gone to Damian Williams.
But the 40 Niners are like I said, a young team there, Stop team.
They're strong team, They have great players and Jimmy G is a good quarterback.
I don't like when people say that he's not a good quarterback.
He just has things to work on, like dealing with the pressure, because that's something that I've noticed like during the regular season. He was okay.
He was making those third and fourth down.
Conversion said he needed to, but he just wasn't able to do it that much, especially in the Super Bowl.
He needs to really work on being under pressure because everybody could make good and great thought froze when their lines holding up.
But when your lines not holding up, you need to learn how to scramble.
You need to learn how to go outside of the pocket and make those great froze and convert when you need to convert.
So Kittle past Brock for the most receiving yards by 10 in the 1st 3 seasons, and the 40 Niners actually passed the 1992 Chargers for the most *** by first round draft picks in a single season.
So this team has everything that everything that they need to succeed.
They have great quarterbacks.
They have a great receiving corps.
They have amazing time and arguably the best tight end in the NFL right now.
They have a great, absolutely amazing defensive line, and they have a decent secondary.
If they draft a decent safety in another quarter, I mean, this team will literally be unstoppable on on, on on.
On the other hand, you have to understand that the Chiefs are the same way there, mostly young, they're strong.
They obviously have passage home.
She's breaking all these records.
He's super young.
He's super strong, super like he just has this magic and him that, like I said, cannot believe you cannot be duplicated.
They have plenty of talented receivers, so people are talking about a dynasty with the Chiefs and I mean, I can see it happening.
Patrick Mahomes has is an amazing player and like I said, they have great receivers and they have a decent defense.
So as long as the chief's keep up on this defense like if someone leaves and they need to replace them and make sure, But they're just a stronger can live up to being that strong eventually if they keep up on that defense, and I think that there could be a possibility of a dynasty.
Patrick Mahomes is young, and he has incredible talent that most people have not seen.
So I think that the kids City Chiefs deserve this one.
I think that they were clearly the better team.
I know that they went down 20 to 10 but they had a stronger defense.
They have absolutely stronger quarterback.
They might not have the best tight end, but they have the number two.
So this was a great Super Bowl for me and left up to the hype and I'm I mean, I'm said that the Packers weren't in it, but like I said, the simple lived up to the height.
So thank you for joining me on this Super Bowl recap.
I'll talk to you guys later
