that we're live.
What's up? Everybody? Definitely not the terms.
I want this P p spee speaking to everybody on Ah, horrendous loss.
But a phone off your 70 sixers. Horrendous.
I can't e can't sugarcoat this one.
I can't, um this was not what I expected.
Uh, I mean, I know a lot of people expected this because they thought about the inside joke was yea where? Miami Sixes. Here in Miami.
Uh, but listen, I can't you know, I can't say enough about this loss.
I'm gonna wait for some people to check in.
I don't have some people coming in.
Uh, let me share the stream world fans s so I could get everybody in the air.
Ah, I don't even know what to say.
I really don't like this is bad.
So we have to figure out and we're not gonna figure that out in this 10 minutes or 15 man's or 20 minutes.
We have to figure out what's going on with 76.
Christine, we really do, because the inconsistent play weekend and weak out, game in and game out just has to stop.
And I don't know how you get around it and one thing that I want to ask everybody check it and that's where my check it in.
One thing I'm wondering here is this team.
Just look, you know, when Ben's not running the show, this team just looks lost.
It looks completely lost.
Um, you know, you watch the offense with the dribble handoff.
She watched the perimeter offense trying to set up.
You know, guys like Al Horford have been in the league forever.
Look, lost guys like Tobias Harris look lost and And one thing I have to say to them.
Hats off to the Miami Heat, the Miami Heat.
Probably because our supposes are really good coats and proud because Jimmy Butler has been on this team and he knows what to expect.
But they defended us as well as any team has done all year.
And what they did was they took the perimeter shot away, and they said, Listen, I know you guys want to shoot the three you want.
You want to jack them up all day, all night, we're going to sit there, we're gonna get your face, we're gonna make you make quick decisions with the ball, and that's something that he couldn't D'oh! Uh, you know, with that monk Scott, Mike Scott was probably the only guy who was actually hitting the three with ease.
But this is what kills me about the three point shot.
The 70 Sixers are not the Golden State Warriors, right? We're not the Golden State Warriors, you know, Brett has to understand that this you have to play your you have to play the team, your strengths.
That's what you have to do it as a good code.
You should be able to take a guy like Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris and Al Horford and be able to assemble a squad.
Listen, it's not just us with this aggravation.
This is on a national level, Okay? This comes from a national perspective.
I watched the pregame that.
They told me they're extinct.
They're basically their explanation of the season is exactly what ours is.
Their frustration is exactly what they're saying.
How is this team has succeed.
They're showing you that this team is drastically underachieving, drastically, and we're to a point now where we're gonna be lucky to get the fifth or even a four seed and guess what If we get the fifth or the fourth, you know what that means? That's a second round match up against the Milwaukee box.
That's something we don't want.
You know, we're gonna play.
Listen, you got any that? You know, Indiana out there with Victor coming back and looking strong, You have Toronto coming back and looking strong.
You have so many teams out there in the east that are looking strong.
And the problem is we aren't s strong as them.
We were supposed to be the one or two to see, dear.
This is what I'm not understanding.
We were supposed to be a one or the two seed and that is not happening right now.
We are far beyond the water to see far beyond it.
And this I keep saying it.
I say it again. Listen.
Look at the box score tonight.
You cannot win, Okay? You cannot win with Tobias Harris getting six points.
You cannot win with Al Horford getting six points.
Here's what Something.
It stays after me and maybe everybody can help here.
But Jo Ellan B 29 points 32 minutes, Right.
Listen, I get it But when he scores 29 30 points, it looks like everybody else is lost.
And that's what we have to figure out.
We have to figure out how to make this work.
And in the 1st 5 minutes it looks like they figure it out, get it down low, get there.
I mean, where is the the high pick and roll? What? Why are we jacking up so many threes? This is what I don't understand.
I'm trying to figure out I'm gonna have to do some research and excuse me alone in the weather here, but I have to go back and look at breath round when he was with San Antonio and I want to see how many threes they were jacking up when they had Tim Duncan and David Robinson.
I mean, I understand they had some guys out there.
I mean, they have glamorized for a couple of years.
They had Sean Elliott.
They had Bruce bellowing.
They had, you know, Parker A.
You know, they had Robert worry.
They had a lot of guys out there that could jackals on threes with, I mean, the sixers, the amount of threes or shooting up you know. I think they're on pace.
Is that Iraq? Really, Though, Um, the third quarter again.
The third quarter, when we look at it and we break down a game.
The third quarter was the nemesis that complete.
This was where the Sixers lost the game.
They were outscored 41 25.
This is where I lost again.
You know, this is Jim.
Listen, Jimmy Butler.
You know, I said this again.
I've said this before.
I'll say it again. I miss Jimmy.
You know, Jimmy just showed you tonight.
He said, Listen, he's like, this is this is my house.
Is my game, okay? You should assign me nots advised.
You want to go with the bias? I want you to go with me.
You bet on Tobias that it's not working right now.
And Jimmy showed you the AF it'll mentality.
He showed you the leadership.
Listen, if Jimmie's on this team tonight and roles are reversed and that's six years, go down 15 in the third quarter, Jimmy gets in somebody's mark.
Jimmy gets somebody face and becomes the Alfa daughter, becomes a leader and tried to turn it around. Real fans.
And that's the difference between what the Sixers have now and what they lost.
So, you know, the leads were biggest.
Listen, it's pretty sad, you know where you pull off this box score, Okay? And you look at the biggest lead.
The Sixers hat was four and the biggest see Miami had was 35 35 points in the Miami Heat.
This is coming off embarrassing loss.
And I got killed for saying, you know, on the Twitter verse out there that I said, you know Brad Stevens greater than Brent Brown.
Okay, well, tonight are supposed to be better than bread brown.
Okay? It feels like every game I watch the other coaches better than bright brown.
Okay, You know, you guys know how I feel about program, and you know, something's gonna have to give you your that team looks I'm prepared to play at times.
And that falls on the head coach every single time.
Three total turnovers from Miami, Heat three.
Which means the Sixers defence was irrelevant.
There was a point where I watched Brett yell at Matisse, Sybil and you rip them out of the game and because, you know, he had a foul and, you know, he was really getting this model Little bit was getting frustrated, but that's the kind of night that we had.
That's the kind of it was for the Sixers.
When you're talking about Onley creating three turnovers, that's the problem.
That's a big problem.
Look, the six, returnable 14 times.
Okay, what is it? Ridiculous, which is under 15? The problem is, they just couldn't create their own offense.
Listen, there was a point in the in a broadcast where I think it would have been a No.
One of its zoom.
All for somebody basically said they at the trade deadline.
They need to bring somebody in here that can create their own shot.
We're still at the point where we don't have a player to create their own shot.
Listen, that was my biggest fear when we let Jimmy Butler go, that was my biggest fear that we were able to create our own shot.
Jimmy was the score.
He was the God to create your own shot and everybody thoughts of bias was going to take over that role so bias cannot create his own shot the bodies is the guy that hangs on the three point line or the 2025 foot perimeter line, and he waits for the double team that Joel for the kick out. That's what the biases.
But the problem is down.
The bias isn't even hit.
No shots he's getting.
That's a big issue with this thing.
You see, you seen Far Con Court Mance get exposed tonight.
You see, we get exposed.
You know why they were up in his grill all night long? Making him making this isn't forcing him to make.
And that's something he couldn't do.
He was like, you know, he was fumbling with the ball.
He had a couple turnovers.
You could tell he was unprepared for that.
This is why I don't understand why everybody loves bread Brown.
OK, Everett, listen, Brett is a good teacher in young players.
He was a good guy to get us through the process, right? Get us through.
All the hard losing get is through all the times where we just weren't sure what was gonna happen.
What was gonna be the next step? Who was gonna be next Julie got it coming to the play.
Who was gonna be the next guy? We need develop.
You You decided that Max players on this team, You decided to bring in guys that already know how to play.
And the problem is, Brad can't get on together.
He can't get on together, You know, whether I don't care if he's fostering.
I don't care of elves frustrated, but we're all frustrated.
And we cannot watch this every single time.
We're coming down to a stretch here.
Okay? We're gonna play Milwaukee.
We have the place.
Chicago, Chicago, Chicago owned us as well.
Listen, every team is starting to own us.
You know, you we can look, and I listen.
If it wasn't for Brooklyn being 10 games behind us in the seven spot, we could certainly be looking at a seven or eight seed.
Think about that.
You know, that's how crazy this season has become and why you can't point into injuries, right? You can point to that you can put into a lack of talent.
Listen, I watch Grant Hill.
I watched Dennis Scott.
I watch Sam Mitchell in the pregame on MBA TV, breaking down and say This team is way too talented to be a 16 way too talented.
So I ask you, I asked everybody who does it fall on right? Who does that fall on? And I'm tired of hearing the players.
I'm tired of hearing it.
Listen, you know, you've seen tonight when Ben Simmons listen, when Ben Simmons takes over again, when he's driving at will, when he's going directly to the hoop, making this free throws, I have to say what is very impressive to me.
That's when we're clicking, you know, we're starting to see Maybe this needs to be Ben's team.
They not Josi right, Maybe Joe, I you know, maybe, just maybe, Joe needs to be become more of a defender instead of offensive score.
He needs a baby option Number two With Ben being number one, I think we need to flip the script here because when Ben is becoming Number one is when this team is flowing, this team on a fast break is virtually unstoppable, with Ben Simmons getting to the glass.
They really are.
But when they slow down and they try to get the ball down low which they do as long as they get.
You know what? Let me stop here for a second.
The other thing that annoys the hell out of me is Do we not know how to get the ball down low? Do we not know how to get the ball down low? I don't understand.
The entry passes on this team are so weak.
I'm not sure what it is.
I don't know if they don't practice it the right way.
I don't know if they just have brain for throughout the game.
I'm not sure what it is, but they can't seem to get the ball downloaded.
Anybody which Listen, I That's a fundamental thing, right? That's a fundamental thing.
And, you know, listen, when Josh Richardson comes back, Shake built in, he had a decent game.
Okay? Not a great game by any means, but he's shown that he belongs.
He showed that he could be that guy, but they're gonna have to bring somebody in here.
You know, whether it's Bo gone right? You know, whether it's Derrick Rose, whether you know, I don't know who is going to be okay.
They're gonna But But here's the thing You know, we've already given up so much right to get to where we are and we can't afford to sit back and watch this team slowly and surely walk away way We cannot continue to watch.
We need this team to be the one of the two seed that we know that they are.
But All star break us here.
It's only a week or so away.
We're halfway through the season.
We're not going to get to the 60 wins that we probably should have right now. Help.
And when we get to the 50 win Platz out with the way this team has played.
So that makes me ask you.
I asked a question that everybody listen, Everybody's gonna listen tomorrow.
Everybody's gonna listen tomorrow afternoon.
Everybody is the comment on Instagram and Twitter and Facebook.
Let me ask you, Is it time to move on from Brett Brown? Have you seen enough? Listen, the Boston Celtics are in talks right now to get Clint Capela.
The one thing the Boston Celtics is missing is that guy in the middle, and they're going to get him.
There are going to get him from the years of rockets.
And if that happens, guess what? They're better than us.
They're better than us again, the Boston Celtics and this is what's killing me.
Why is that happening? Why we have basically gone out in the last three years.
We have basically gotten whoever we wanted, whether we trade that line, whether it be golf season.
Okay, Weatherby, free agency.
We've gotten whoever we wanted.
So right now, at this point in time, it's not enough.
And why isn't it enough? And that is mine.
That is my issue.
Why isn't it enough? Is a prep around problem is that a culture problem isn't a player problem.
Listen, I just want to see somebody else in the year.
I want to see them implement their own system.
I want to see somebody get us in here with their own culture and their own mindset and say, You know what? I know how to make Ben and Jo work.
I know how to get this thing fixed.
I know how to make Tobias into the $180 million Max player that he really is, not a guy who looks lost, not a guy who looks like he's afraid to shoot that guy looks like confused.
Listen, you know, it was I think it was Jim Schwartz.
We're gonna bring us to a football aspect.
But I remember when Jim Schwartz was interviewed and when the team defense for the Philadelphia Eagles started.
Really play really play well to play offs.
And ah, I remember when he got to that point.
I mean, right before the playoffs. I'm sorry.
Right before the playoffs.
I remember when he got to the point and Jim Schwartz said, They said, What happened? What changed right? They said what she and Jim Schwartz said, Listen, I just dumbed it down.
He said He done the day I took all the place, all the trickery out of the equation.
I took all the stunts out. I've got a language.
How I said, Hey, you go play your position.
Hey, Fletcher, Cox, just play your position, player guy, That's it.
Maybe Brant Brown, these that dumb this down a little bit.
Maybe he needs to take all these cuts and all these isolations out of the mix and just say, Hey, players go out and play.
Just go out and play now.
I'm not talking about going out playing street ball.
What I'm saying is, just go play basketball and see what happens.
Because what we're doing right now is not working.
And Brett has to be able to see that grants a smart guy.
Listen, Bright did not get the where he was by beating some guy, right? He got the where he wasn't really a smart guy.
So he has to realize this, right? You know? Excuse me, but he has to say this.
I mean, he has to see this, doesn't he? If me, you and everybody else see it, how can Bret Nazi? And that's gonna be the story of, you know, basically the point of my story tonight.
I want to go 20 minutes.
I'm entirely frustrated.
I really I can't say any more.
You know, I'm looking at a loss of the Boston Celtics who are our listen, our most bitter rival in that, you know, in the in the and I'm sorry.
In the Eastern Conference, right on their home floor on national TV, I have to hear Hubie Brown, Hubie, breath owned.
Ask Hubie Brown who I respect the hell out of, But I got a list.
The Hubie talk about my team.
How they're not playing Well, how what we need to change on the Sixers.
How our team basically stinks right now what they're doing.
And listen, I say that with the simple fact that I know that they're better than this.
But they stunk in Boston.
They stunk tonight in Miami.
Okay, I have seen this before. People.
We've seen the story before, and that's my biggest issue.
Nothing is changing.
We see the same thing.
We see the same story.
We've seen the same shortcomings every single day.
That's what we see. Okay.
And I'm tired of saying it.
I'm tired of talking about it.
I'm tired of people on Twitter.
Tell me it's gonna be okay.
Everybody say, Hey, Jigsaw, relax.
Look at this guy.
I had a guy the other night.
I tweeted out breath around because I don't care what the series is.
Let me a some What scene is Boston? Who were they about to get? What the hell do I care of breath around wins the series, 3 to 1 against Brad Stevens.
Why the hell do I care about that? What I care is my team.
That should be the one or two seed is playing a team without their superstar and they get smoked.
What I care about is I go into Miami anthem, a Super Bowl.
I go in there knowing that I have the win because of the embarrassing loss against Boston.
And I go in there and I lay another egg and I want Jimmy Butler, not 38 38 my mug and tell me Yo told you this team ain't it.
That's why I went to Miami.
That's what I have to watch.
So for to do it on Twitter that says, Hey, this is coming from sunglasses A B I Okay, that's just because I have sunglasses right in, You know, in my picture, God forbid, you know, who knows? I must be wrong for doing that.
Not not not knowing that in the summertime you can't wear sunglasses.
But what does that mean, Right? What does that mean? What? What was that disaster exactly? I'm telling it exactly that, you know, just make love.
Checking in what? What is that? It was a disaster, and this is what I've been talking about.
It's a complete disaster.
I think that's Mike, right? I have these things right.
I think it's my but like, you're absolutely right.
You know, I I've been going nuts here for 20 minutes because I had a walk away a few times from the game.
I had a walk away from the screen.
I did because I couldn't.
I just couldn't watch it anymore.
And this has been, you know, there's team.
Sometimes when they're that good and you say, Listen, they're just having a bad night.
We've been here, right? We've been in before.
When we've said this and teens is having a baby, It's not their night.
Listen, filling like my boy Mike Diaz Greenlees in my body, right? We argue all the time.
I get it and he consistently tells me, Hey, relax.
It's gonna be okay.
This was a schedule loss.
I hear that all the time.
I'm tired of hearing that right.
We can't even win a regular game, let alone a schedule lost game, right? I'm so tired of hearing that rhetoric.
I'm so tired of hearing that narrative.
This team cannot afford to sleepwalk through these games anymore.
We're halfway point of the season.
So trade deadline is, you know, is obviously this week.
So something's going to happen.
I'm not sure what is gonna happen, but don't give me Robert Covington.
Don't give me Robert ***mings said, Listen, as much as I'm a fan of Roco and what his role should be to give up a first round pick for Robert ***mings, a man who's shooting 34% from three I don't need 34% for three.
I can't I can't get the bias. Harris weapon.
$100 million Didn't shoot a nice three points.
So why the hell would I get Robert Covington? Sorry, I'm trying to read way have zero Mozambique.
I'm telling you, man, you know we need what we need.
Like is a shooter again.
We need a shooter.
We we need a leader.
I don't know what else to say.
It's you know, eventually it finally has to come down to You have the players in place.
You know, we again we don't have a shot. Creator.
We have been Simmons who can get to the whole right.
He can get to the glass and with ease whenever he wants toe.
We don't No, we do not have that shock Creator.
I said it earlier.
We lost Jimmy Butler, who was our shock creator at that time we lost him.
We don't have a shot creator anymore, which sucks.
And again until we get that guy.
And so we get Tobias Harris to play up to his potential until we get Joel and be on the same page with Ben Simmons and Al Horford, you know? And so we get breath, round toe, let us understand What the hell were you thinking with some of his, You know, magical Substitution Tze and why he's in love with Netto and why he doesn't play Trey Burke unless it's in dumping time, right, Unless is in garbage time.
Trey Burke finally gets on the court.
That's what I understand until that happens, I'm telling you, until that happens, we are in some severe trouble.
We couldn't make it with Jimmy, and odd is the type of player would see that you're right.
But my thing is, you know Jimmy.
How do I say this? I think the problem was with J.
How crazy That makes cell.
Now, if last year you told me I kept preaching right that J J.
Needs to come off the fence, he need to be that scored about because I think that's what we lacked A lot last year was scored off the pence, but it still comes down to, you know, Jimmy, Ben and Jo.
You need to be all in in unison and I don't think Brecca get on there and I I don't I think if you think about it right here, here's something to ponder.
Jimmy want to take command? Ben wanted to take a man.
Ben takes command when Joe's not there.
When Joe's air, Ben doesn't take him in, and I think what was happening was internally.
That's why I think Jimmy and Ben don't get along because Jimmy wanted to be the maid and Ben wanted to take charge, and they kind of put it heads a little bit.
They did, and I think that's what stumped the growth, right.
I think that's what stopped it, But you have to remember that.
You know, you bring up a good point where you know you had Jimmy.
He's a guy you needed.
You know, we've heard all these players that you know, that we get our They aren't just the piece that we need it.
Right? We heard Josh Richardson.
Was the guy the kind of guy we needed.
Red**** was kind. The kind of guy we needed.
You know, we heard Tobias hires was to stretch for Oh, my God.
Tobias Harris is exactly what we need.
What a great trade.
This is what we need.
Guess what? See? Results.
Maybe even worse.
Maybe even worse.
So I don't know where we go from here.
If somebody could help me, please do.
I'm really not sure where we go from here.
There's that anyone? Exactly.
That's that surprised Mike.
It's almost like when you talk about the Phillies.
Is anybody Everybody, you know, digresses when they come here, they regress.
They don't progress.
They regress, right? It was.
It's like the Carlos Santana theory all over again with the Phillies.
You know, you look at the same thing with the Sixers, like you see what Jimmy's doing right now.
And Jimmy one of his own team, right? Jimmy wanted to be the guy he seemed.
He said, Listen, these guys aren't gonna challenge me.
I'm gonna challenge them And I think that was a difference.
And I think maybe, just maybe, Ben and Jo should have not challenged Jimmy.
Right? Jimmy is the veteran Jimmy's that God has been around those who God is still learn how to play.
I think that's what you know.
That's what happened a lot, whether right or wrong, whatever you run over the case may be, I think Jimmy seen the same things we see.
You know, that Brett tends to take it easy on certain guys, right? I watched him again.
Like, you know, maybe you've seen this.
I know if you want the whole game.
But, you know, when he had the quick hook on, you know, Matisse table where he had that it was a you know, Tikki Val.
It was a touchy fail that he had and Brett went Not so.
He grabbed him without the, you know, we're off the court.
As he went from the he went for the shot.
It went for the fake.
Well, like five minutes later, Joel gets on offensive foul for pushing.
You know, Dark Jos Jr in the back.
And then you see Ben Simmons fall for a fake on your own garage IQ, and he goes to the line.
But Ben and Jo, they don't get anything from Brett. Nothing.
He doesn't even tell him anything.
And and that's the problem.
That's the problem.
He's scared of stars.
And again, that's why I think we need to move on.
I d'oh! And listen.
We're I'm gonna go 30 minutes, 27 minutes right here.
You know, we're at the at the finish line, and you know, I'm ready to move on.
I am. I said it before.
I'll say it again.
We get Listen, this is this isn't gonna get any better.
This is gonna be what? What it is, right? We're going to see this play on for rest of the year.
We're going to see a good game.
We're going to see a pay game.
We're going to see three good games.
We're to see three baiI games.
We're going to see the same inconsistent crap long and I get it.
The people that are going to say Hey, listen, you could be Brooklyn, right? You know, you could be.
But guess what, Brooklyn, We have a brighter future than we did too, right when they get Kevin to ran back next year, you know? And the vert starts playing up there up to health.
And Kyrie Irvin starts shut his mouth and actually just playing ball.
So Brooklyn, maybe better than us.
Right, Boss, that I mentioned earlier.
They get this, they get Clint Capela.
They complete this deal, and they are better than us.
You know, we have a lot.
The look and we don't were strapped.
We put all our money into our players.
They have to produce some.
Like you're right.
It's time to make a change.
It's not gonna get.
Listen, people, we've been talking about the same stuff all night long.
We've been talking about it for months.
We talked about it last year.
We talked about in the preseason.
We talked about it again tonight, and I am absolutely tired of hearing it all.
So again, check me on social Media attic until 23 again.
You're on SportsCastr, as always I'm gonna try to do.

Everybody may not agree with what I say.
What is fine That's what this sport soccer is all about.
You don't dismiss people because you don't agree what you do you're talking about.
You have educated conversation.
Everybody's opinionated, which makes this world fantastic, especially when we talk about sports.
And hey, listen, we may open each other up to a different agenda something we thought we may never thought off, which is absolutely amazing, Which is what the sports world is all made.
So again, everybody have a good night at Fox Sports.
