I missed quite a bit.
Sorry, I'd take him to work for truly Taylor.
It looks like they're being a little bit lackadaisical right now, don't it? Safe return.
Maybe you're gonna drive into the lane.
You're all set through.
Baptize over. Coming to basil.
The vote can't get the lab together.
What the heck? They got Troy Taylor.
Who's got it out on the cherry pick? Hey, fish is the layer 15 cents.
So we're now just under minutes ago, the third was gonna drop toe losing their home opener of the season opener here in the basketball league.
Meanwhile, the Indie Express moved a Wanna know It's nice to see the indie expression I'm obviously I happen Root for my home team.
What welcome everybody that was here.
I want to apologize or missing earlier, but this was an excellent, excellent opportunity.
They're just shooting or not hoping in hopes for points.
They got another to rot.
Obviously, you know, they're losing badly, but and he just looks so good Fate and that we're not gonna fall.
Troy Taylor chases down the nice, nice work around.
Robert Also not gonna fall it.
Just keep shooting threes.
Everybody shooting threes.
Coming, eh? Achilles Hell, for the owns world thoroughbreds, Here's a just gave it up a ton of all offensive rebounds.
They are mismatched.
The high position.
I will say, Oh yeah, they're badly.
They got two guys who are really not to have that effort there to try and crash the offensive glass and defensive get the defensive rebound.
It's allowing the Express to have ways in the offense of once Dominic Wells, looking for his first points on the night he's got his first point 1 16 to 79 now just 29 seconds to go in the fourth quarter.
We're up 35 points, my lord.
So they're gonna walk out $20 say they score on this profession.
The reason I say that it's because if you look down there, says 81 for Owen's World told me Just 2000 views here on sports cash.
That isn't saying thank you all for joining in the broadcast.
Xavier Turner got his lands ago.
Absolutely. 2000 views.
Remember Live Use jumper coming for Robert Fade and just be Oh, that's Robert.
Vadim gets another basket.
11 seconds to go Now I was on Robert Beattie, his fifth personal foul foul called against Robert Vaden.
He saw his one more before he fouls out.
You don't really matter, though, at this point in the game, to free those coming for even with five.
First shift to the charity shop tonight for Xavier Turner, the Manhattan College graduate first time playing for a pro team in his career.
18 points on the night now for Xavier Turner got the start as well as first pro games, taking one on the way.
That one also good for very nice.
11 seconds together. The expressive.
They're just trying to hold the ball, reaching foul.
Gonna be reaching.
Wow, You just want the whole ball to end in the game and they should to be bare.
They ought to have evolved at the line.
You don't save on at the free throw line now by ST oh, good for Dion Savon.
Second half after going scoreless in the first quarter.
First half, I should say 14 make it.
Made both of those points coming in the second half.
1 2083 5 seconds to go.
Xavier Turner is gonna have a little Yeah, he's trapped.
They did get a time out called There's gonna wave It off and that's gonna be it for the ball game is tonight.
He always rode thoroughbreds full to the Indian Express 120 83.
All right, so we'll do a post game for this.
We're gonna take a step away for just a quick moment to get our staff together, and then we're gonna have a head coach.
Mork Anderson joined us here on the postgame show.
So make sure you do Stick around here on SportsCastr dot com, but that's going to do it.
Your final score tonight.
The Indian Express victorious over the only brother thoroughbreds.
I also want to say thank you to see Burke for the follow.
I appreciate that very much.
Um, I hope that I'm just looking through some of this stuff here Lawson have run in this stream is well, very awesome.
Paulson ran this stream quite a few different times.
All right, run, boys, of course.
And then, of course, the, uh, the game itself 2000 views for this game.
That was very awesome.
Uh, on SportsCastr itself, I hope.
Well, I want to do ah, stream on my own here a little bit.
Be joined on the postgame show here by Coach Mark Anderson as a, uh, a couple of positive takeaway is that you have from your players on the floor.
Well, the fact that they kept playing, everybody stayed positive.
I mean, that's kind of cliche, but you know what? When it's like this, the first quarter killed us.
We didn't shoot the ball.
Well, we had up on the board limit our unforced turnovers.
We had so many unforced turnovers.
In other words, the defense didn't cause it.
We just threw the ball to them.
They went down and scored.
Indianapolis is a very good team now.
It may sound crazy, but I think the next time we see him because we don't play him again, it's gonna be the playoffs.
We've got to get this corrected.
We'll get it corrected.
We come back Sunday.
We're gonna be a totally different looking team.
The way we play out there, Absolutely.
Now you guys, you have two days off before the game on Sunday.
We're a couple of things that you could be looking to work on.
Before you start with the head coach, you need to start working with the team about Morton.
Rotating ball were terrible out there defensively.
Now that's something we work on every day and the other thing is believing that we do practice every day.
They even though we didn't look like it, OK, that was disappointing.
I apologize to the fans of Owensboro who came out here and put you know, we had a very good crowd here and we put on a show like that.
I personally take apology to them for that because that's not the way we are.
We're going to talk to you tonight and we're gonna come out Sunday.
I'm sure you're going to come out and get your voice more team ball rather than trying to be before I get that.
Well, I'll be able to watch the game to ah Saturday when they play Indy, so I'll be able to get that.
The thing is from last year, even though they have the same coaching staff, they have a few of the same players.
There's been a lot of turnover in the league because players go into other countries.
The play out of the TV L so As a result, there's a lot of movement so not so much familiar with, like I knew some of the players that Indianapolis had, but and I actually coached some of them last year Jamestown.
You know, that was kind of ironic, but the thing is is that we'll get back at it tomorrow and on Saturday and we'll get this corrected.
I guarantee we'll get it corrected.
Thank you so much for joining US Coach Anderson.
Not the loser you're looking for, but definitely looking forward to seeing you guys bounce back on Sunday against the Firebirds. All right.
Thank you, Coach. Market.
Dakota One tonight.
So my Allen's welcome to the street.
The people here are probably go ahead.
Do my postgame breakdown.
In my opinion, I'm listening to what? Some of these coaches they're saying.
Hey, look who they got.
They got the president and the CEO there.
Xavier Turner of this league on the opening 19 for Dave on Hayes, 12 points, husband wider.
Three players Whoring seven and Donovan Griffith, Jimmy Birthright and West hidden.
And then five points coming for Shawn Moran.
Big deal on this game was simple.
Meanwhile, the Express bro code one points for Troy Taylor.
They also have 17 points coming for a cold.
Yeah, the neural coach needs to really teach more team ball.
Okay? They tried to force too much individual effort rather than ball think they they also gave away the ball too much work.
First quarter John, which made it really difficult because it makes any kind of comeback.
But that's a real big deal.
Anyhow, because, really, they lost 1 20 to 83.
I'm on the big screen.
Thank you for joining and my hair going messed up because I was out.
Well, Sunday, February 2nd.
They lost because rally Firebirds that we're gonna be for biggest were playing good team.
And it's not just the team ball that they lost due to.
Okay, um, think about this.
We had a huge height disadvantage.
Indian has got two guys over seven, but they were getting rebounds left and right. Okay.
It was sometime when those burro I watched Ah, one possession where they had, I think, five offensive boards.
I don't know how in the world they pulled that off.
When? When Indiana has got so many big guys out there.
Um, the Indian has got a lot of superstars.
They had one guy on there that actually shot something like 70% from 3.
Well, it's just the one, dude, but still by they.
I think in the end, it's gonna be for the watch.
Olin's burrow is going to need.
The coach is going to need to teach them that when they are outmatched do the size, but they need to start moving that ball around a lot more they need.
They need to get good ball movement, get the ball to the open guy, get an open shot.
Easy shots, uh, get get the defenders on, uh, guarding the perimeter and that use a pick and roll to get a pass inside for an open lay up or something of that nature.
Um, you just you can't play a team who's got cheese size wise individually.
It's very difficult when games that way, so they need.
They needed better, uh, game management.
When it came to that, they needed a better game plan going in tow.
Facing this, I almost called him the Pacers.
They look really good, but the thoroughbreds needed a better game plan to play the Express, hopefully, the game playing a little bit better on their next game on Sunday, Indiana place again on Saturday.
I might be able to run that one as well, but it's just a really good game.
I enjoyed this whole game.
I missed most of the fourth quarter, uh, had the and to run a friend of mine to work, but either way man does.
It was excellent.
Uh, let me find the actual stats here along, if you give me just one moment, please.
I'm gonna bring up, uh, actual stats, uh, for this game when we find it.
I sold a minute ago.
All right, Now, let me bring this up.
So full box score.
What's this? Look? Team statistics for the Owensboro thoroughbreds.
Okay, so we had Hayes, who played about 24 minutes, shot 40% field goal percentage with over two from three point and five of six free throws.
Get good all the free throws.
Um, he ended up with 13 points.
Turner? Uh, 50% for a field goal.
Percent shooting, uh, 50% from three point range at two for four.
Made both of his free throws.
Wilford, not so good.
He was one of two from Oh, no.
One of fix from three point range that kills you that killed it when you have a 16% free for three point shooting, then showing that you're just shooting the ball for nothing.
Ah, it's free throws.
He was wanted to for three throws.
He had 14 points.
Crawford Crawford had a decent game, is one of three from three point as 33.
You can't really complain about 33 too much.
66 percent, huh? Regular game ended up with 11 points.
Hitting had nine points.
Hey made all three of his shots for normal, but he's only one of four from three point range. That's 25%.
That's not good, but he had to offensive boards at two defensive boards, so that's good, Um, off the bench, Anderson played and it had one defensive rebound.
That's that's pretty much it.
Uh, Griffin had eight points.
He was four or five from the field, which is pretty good.
He off the bench.
I mean, Griffin played almost 21 minutes, actually, off the bench.
Uh, all right, had 17 minutes off the bench.
He was two or 4 50% but my problem is a 50% from three point range.
Uh, Scott played 13 and 1/2 minutes, misters only field goal at two point shot, but he had a couple of defensive rebounds, so he did.
He didn't do a little something, something Burrell Jr He was, too, with fix from regular field goal percentage.
And he was two or three from the three point range, which, which is better.
66% they're shooting.
They're shooting percentage was awful.
And the reason it was awful with because they didn't play very good, you know, like I said, team ball, they weren't passing the ball around Sydney throw. Welcome to the stream.
They were passing the ball or I have to get open shots against a physically.
Yeah, physically bigger team.
Right When you're playing, get someone and they got the height advantage against you individually, man for man.
You need to get ball movement.
You need to get your pick and rolls.
You need tohave an offensive game plan to get open shots.
You can't drive the ball against a team that is bigger than you.
And then when they closed down on you, you're driving, you're driving up towards the goal and then two other guys close in on.
You got three guys, all three of them bigger than you are, and you still try to take the shot instead of kind of you know, keeping an eye out on the side to see who's open government there, three big guys right in front of you.
Obviously, somebody is open.
Do the quick pitch out to somebody who's always looking at an open shot that will increase your shop percentage dramatically.
And that's something, I think really, really hurt this team.
When it came to score now and he expressed, on the other hand, they had a heck of a game.
Jones played about 28 minutes.
He was two of six from from regular two point range.
He was, uh oh for two from three point range, but he made both of those free throws.
Taylor, nine of 12 for field goals and one of one from three point, ended up with nine points are with 18 points.
Tatum Dixon was three of five field goal percentage.
Uh made made his only three point conversion.
Him had 16 points played about 27 minutes.
He was 7 11 and two or three from three point range.
You hear it? The three point the difference here in their three point when they were taking their three point shots, they were open three point shots.
They were passing the ball around trying to get the open shots.
They got higher percentage shooting.
Reddit Red**** had himself a game, all right.
Five of seven from three point range, five of seven at 71% Von At 15 points.
He was four for four and made both of his three point attempts.
Hopkins was to a seven, but he made half one of two of the three point shots.
Uh, Sir Wacha Well, three of eight.
And yeah, he was the worst on the three point range.
He was one of 4 25% but he was three of eight total.
You know, he made half of his regular shots.
Then we go to the board.
Tate of Dixon had two offensive boards.
Vaden had two offensive boards, right? I had an office and board.
Bond had an offensive board.
Hopkins had an officer aboard Many.
Yang had three officer boards.
That's how you win days.
Second chance points, right? Isaac Mets.
Welcome to the free.
Out of this telling you, man, this is Indiana.
Looked like a better coach team to me.
They had a game plan.
They knew what they were doing.
They were trying to get the open shots.
Uh, they were closing and defensively whenever someone drove drove to the post, I just I think we'll get a better look at this.
The Saturday when Indiana Place again.
Let me see when they play.
What, little Let's get up here.
Ah, actually, we got Jamestown Jackals.
Columbus Condors, tomorrow at 7 p.
m. Maybe I'll watch that game too.
I haven't decided.
But I mean, in the end, he just blew this out of the water.
And they want every quarter.
They want every quarter.
He want to say that first quarter really hurt us? That the head coach of the Owens role, he wants to say, Well, you know that first quarter kill us, and it did.
I mean, that they lost that quarter 21 8 but they lost the second quarter 30 to 24.
They lost 1/3 quarter 31 22.
They lost the fourth quarter 34 28.
So what does it matter? They lost every quarter by sizable points.
66 points in the second quarter.
Nine points in the third quarter, six points in the fourth quarter.
You can't win if you can't at least win 1/4.
They had no chance.
UH, globally ball in.
Thanks for joining the Stream.
I appreciate you being here.
Owens World needs to game plan better.
He knew this coming in.
He was giving up, size needed.
We needed to see more ball movement from his team.
I don't know who they're playing next.
I really ought to go check that.
But actually, I'm going.
I will probably do some previews for this next game or I'm all watch a couple games.
They won't play again.
I think this is one of those leads where people just play once each time.
There's no round robin.
Everybody plays each other once and then whoever has the best record at the end goes to the playoffs or something.
I'm assuming that's how it goes.
Uh, I'll get back with you, let you know better, but I want to see how Indiana plays in their next game.
That'll be something that'll be interesting.
If they could actually repeat what they did here against who they play next.
That's gonna be scary.
But surely whoever.
Whoever they're playing next wash this game and are like, Okay, we gotta do something about the size that this team has and how they move the ball around.
Okay, They got a lot of steals.
They've got a lot of boards.
Yet you I don't watch basketball.
Like I said before, I haven't watched basketball a lot and and last 20 years.
Well, I think I'll be watching this league and I hope you follow me.
As I watched this lead give us like a chance man.
They had 2000 views live on SportsCastr 2000 total views.
They're very interesting.
Once, Once they start getting a little bit of exposure, I think that they'll actually gain a larger fan base.
And it's exciting time not only for the basketball league but for SportsCastr itself.
And hopefully, we'll be ableto see this, uh, turn into something special.
But I know I took up a lot of your time.
This is the best I could do when it comes todo my first riel, calling a game and doing play by play and reaction to a basketball game in, like, 20 years, so hopefully I'll get better at it.
Hopefully, I get a little bit of you guys to actually, uh, watch me.
I want to thank everybody who has washed me.
SportsCastr the Bond. Dakota.
Alex Kimmy, Semi pro.
Thanks for being here.
Thanks for supporting me.
And we'll see if I can't.
What? Uh, wash the game next time.
I'm definitely go.
Probably be doing the one on Saturday, and we'll see about tomorrow.
But until next time, I'm Lord, someone.
This is coleslaw, and I want you have a little
