Nick's family was popping Is your boy? And here we are, finishing another week off New York Knicks basketball.
And it wasn't the greatest week, You know, the way that we've finished the way that we ended last week.
And so a lot of people figured that maybe we would turn in a corner, all right, But it wasn't to be.
We didn't turn the corner.
I was hoping we turned the corner.
Pretty sure you will hope when we took the corner, but we didn't turn the corner.
We're gonna talk about the week.
Everything that happened during his weak, you could see on the cover we got Dennis Smith Jr would talk about him a little bit.
Kenny won't win.
That was big news for this week.
Barrett his ankle talk about that.
What that could mean for R. J.
Barrett hopefully doesn't mean much What that could mean for the team would talk about all of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, right before we get that going, we got my man cave in the chat.
Welcome back to Andy.
He's in a chat, so we're gonna tap it out with these guys for a few seconds.
then after we are, you know, chop it up with these guys.
We're gonna get to the re capital week, ladies and gentlemen, but make sure that you join us.
Make sure that you're here.
Eddie, do you hear? Heavy? I'm gonna have you guys both unm You did all right.
So both you guys alive at the same time it was going to make a family.
It was up in make a family salutes everybody to look to Everybody.
Hope everyone's having a really good in okay day.
Um, pretty much.
So tell me, what did you think about the weak man? I mean, Andy, I know you were on vacation, so you probably didn't get to see much o or whatever, you know, because you were skiing in Italy, you know, big skiing in Italy.
You know, the closes at Venice, Italy is spaghetti.
I'm just saying it's exactly, you know, but So what's up, man? How was your trip? It was fine.
You know, the weather was fine.
Everything was fine.
I just hope I didn't blow my knee.
No up because I had a c l u know recovery a couple of years back and I tripped on the first day, but he managed to ski a couple of days later.
So I think it's not that bad.
Maybe a sprain, something.
Okay, I'm happy.
You know, we had the waiter back, and we drive safe because it's a 5 15 hour drive.
So, you know, from my place.
And, you know, we made a safe trip, so I'm happy about that.
Well, I'm glad you made a safe trip.
Glad you made it home safely.
Glad you didn't get, you know, to injure them.
So you got a couple of bangs and Mrs whatever you're saying. But that's all good.
That's to be expected.
So, needless to say, it even seems to me that we're the only bruises, You know that I have.
I got more emotional loses with the next Lance.
Tell me, But don't tell me about it.
Tell me about it.
So, needless to say, you probably didn't get a chance to see too much of what happened this week.
I saw half the games.
I missed the box game and ah, sons game.
Like I got that on my list.
I'm gonna watch him Amenity know from from the whole 48 minutes.
I hope we don't have you no overtime game in there because I know that we lost both games.
I just don't know what the point difference was.
So I'm gonna watch, you know, the whole games because I like to know not maybe take notes, but see what the players do, how they develop.
You know, maybe some weeks from Miller I really like to know Chime in on those details.
Now, without a doubt, um, you didn't miss much, I tell you that, to be honest with you miss much, so don't feel too bad cause you just didn't miss much.
Um And before I start breaking down this week, let me just make a quick announcement to everybody.
Not really an announcement.
But ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't followed me on SportsCastr yet, please do so follow me on SportsCastr.
Follow me now if you haven't followed me on SportsCastr because where those who are here from you to what I want you to know and understand is that this show is exclusively on SportsCastr.
You're not going to get anyplace else.
Alright, so follow me on SportsCastrs to make sure that you can have access to this show.
Now, I did do a notification on Facebook, you know, so I can get some people here.
But, you know, I'm not gonna take this video and put it on Facebook or nothing like that.
It is on SportsCastr, and it's going to stay on SportsCastr. Right.
Um, Andy, I don't know if you want to hear scores, so you might want to close your ears because I was gonna read off the scores.
I think that one more bruise.
Um, so let's go.
We'll do a quick recap.
We're gonna do a quick recap of the week for the Knicks.
And, you know, here we go looking at the next week.
Now, weeks go from basically from from monday to Sunday.
Okay, That's the way that we're doing the week.
So this was from 1 13 toe.
1 19 The Knicks played the bucks, played the sons.
They played the 70 Sixers.
All right. Lost to the bucks.
Maybe be ready for they lost to the bucks.
1 28 to 102 They lost by 26 points.
It basically was not competitive and all right, maybe, uh, let me not lie.
Maybe the first couple of minutes of the game was a little bit competitive. Maybe the first.
You know, the first quarter was a little bit competitive.
The bucks went out, and then the next came back.
But then, for the most part, it wasn't competitive.
You got into the second half.
It wasn't competitive at all.
They played the sons.
They lost to the sons 1 28 to 98.
Now, look, the sun's are not the box.
So if you lose to the bucks by 26 I get it.
When you lose to the sons by 2030.
All right, That's a pro. I don't get it.
I could take losing to the bucks about 26 points.
I can't take losing to the sons by 23 points.
It shouldn't happen.
Obviously, it did, but it shouldn't happen, right? They got blown out by the books 1 28 to 98 then the 76 is gain was close.
Right? Um, you know what? We take a look back at that game.
The Knicks, you know, they kept a tight in the first half.
It was back and forth, and then the 76 is took a lead.
The Knicks kept coming back, right? And then, well, it wasn't really back and forth.
It was close than the 76 is in the first half.
They will go up in the next, will come back and they go up.
The Nimitz will come back.
I think the Knicks had maybe a two point lead at one point during the first half in the second half.
Finally, on a Marcus Morris fade away, jump shot.
Not really a fade away, but a pull up jump shot.
The Knicks took the lead by one right, and then, after the next took the lead by one.
It was about 30 seconds left in the game.
Everybody was excited, exuberant.
It'd had be jumping all over the place and the next come down.
And for whatever everyone switches like they do sometimes.
And Mitchell Robinson ends up on.
We end up on Tobias Harris at the three point line, and then Mitchell Robertson didn't really press up on him.
Tobias Harris knocks down that three to nix it down, too.
Come back down the end of the game.
Knicks don't have any timeouts left.
No, actually, I think they did have a time out.
Maybe they did have a time out.
You know, I think they I think they were out of time.
They didn't take the ball out of bounds to get it to Marcus Morris.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So they have, like, one time out.
So they had a time out there called a time out.
They got the ball inbounds to Marcus Morris.
Marcus boys dribbles left.
He's looking for a screen for Mitchell Robinson.
Mitchell Robertson comes up to set a screen.
Julius Randle is standing right in a way, all right, Instead of cutting through to get out the way to let that screen take to let it happen, he stands right in the way Um, screen obviously doesn't happen.
Marcus Morris has to get rid of the ball.
He gives it to Julius Randle, who gets trapped along the sideline, and the trouble is on the line and basically for mayor, that's the end of the game.
The Knicks got a chance to heave one last shot up to try to tie it.
Markets most actually was closer than it was close, you know? But, um, that was it.
The Knicks lost all three games after a nice, nice win against Miami and come out on the loose three Street to bad losses and one close loss.
But the way that it ended in that fourth quarter, I mean, Julius Randle was having a great week, a really good week up until that fourth quarter.
And then he just started fumbling and bumbling throughout their fourth quarter, looking at the numbers off for the week the next, they average 95.
7 points per game.
Um, they could do better than that right there.
That the highest they scored throughout the week was one or two of Versed in Milwaukee bucks.
And then again, 98 Buster Suns 97 1st of 70 87 verse to 76 years.
You understand it against the Bucks.
You understand it against the 76 is they're both good defensive teams, and actually, the sons have been playing good defense lately.
I think when when I reviewed it, when it just before they started playing the Knicks and not they started playing the Knicks, but just before they played.
The Knicks defense was rated Top 10 their last five games, So oh, I don't know.
I guess the sons also beat what they beat the Celtics.
So maybe that sounds is just playing.
Well, What I don't know again.
They averaged 95.
7 points per game.
6% from the field.
It's 29.3% from three.
The average 45 points.
Seven rebounds per game, which was actually up from their previous five games whenever averaging like 42 was something like that.
So it's a little bit up.
Defense of rating.
9 25th in the league, and their offensive rating is 104.2.
That was for the week of from 1 13 toe 1 19 So that's basically the week for the next.
Ladies and gentlemen and King E 161 in the chat said the sons are good.
Um, well, you know, they did.
Your defense is obviously was good because they took the Knicks up out of there.
Um, and you know the right.
Delano still said that the Phoenix didn't even have Kelly.
You Bray. That's true.
He's probably their top defensive player, and he didn't even play.
He's one of the top scores on one of the top defensive players, and he didn't even play.
So that was the house the next week.
Ladies and gentlemen, um, rough one to say the least, you know, Rough week.
To say the least, fellas, Nate just joined us.
Glad to hate doing, um, how you feel about it, Villas.
Who wants to start anyone? If you want me.
I don't do the sound.
They make the numbers.
Steven look worse.
I think you know, uh, with the games in the box and and the sons margin over 20 it's probably have a couple of, you know, points that were, you know, garbage minute points.
Oh, they know the average of the points should be even lower.
And you know what? The field goal percentage, 30% is really low.
I think if you're over 40 you have a chance to, you know, get a couple of wins in the end the week.
But if you're shooting, you know, the 38 and 29% from three you got See no two less to get a couple of double used.
Yeah, I agree with you, Andy.
Um, I was taking it from April.
A perspective of just looking at the players themselves.
It's just really, really, um I don't It's a sad, but it is sad.
You know what we're seeing And not just from the thea.
The young players just invest themselves.
I mean, that last play for the six years, I'm sure Mike Miller put it out of, you know, a great, uh, play out there.
But between Morris and Randall more Randall, they didn't execute that to toe.
What I think you know Miller was putting out there.
I'm just really disappointed in our our bets as a whole this year.
We didn't have Bullock, um, for majority of the season, we didn't have out for Peyton, Um, for for a spell, but still as a whole.
I think those guys really let a lot of the Knick fans down and we can go down the line.
We can go down the line from, um, from Randall too.
Portis to Ellington.
Uh, it was just really sad.
No, I agree with you.
Um, you know anything? Think about Yeah.
And the one the one time we had to sal***e the week, we didn't get it done right.
We didn't get it done.
We had one chance to sal***e it with Joanna and be being out.
And Al Horford was off the entire game until he knocks down the one that one shot, right? And I was like, cheese, you know, off the entire game and finally knocks down, knocks down a big one that they need, but not a good thing for the Knicks.
Yeah, and another thing with that Sim is going into the season.
Everyone, uh, leased from phys Dale's of perspective.
Everyone was saying that you're going on your cheek, and so that meant sacrificing everything that knocks it last year.
What should it last year and forget it.
We'll even Mitchell not even starting now.
So you've sacrificed all that for these vets, and these vets really didn't didn't deliver for us.
And that's what's you know, really, really upset now.
And, you know, here's the here's the tough part is it really is the tough part when we talk about the vets.
Obviously, there comes a point in the season where you understand that you're not winning.
You're not making the playoffs, right.
You gotta change your philosophy in the way that you approach the game.
And where did you approach playing? We're at that point E.
I mean, it's clear what we 11 32 we're at that point with 27 games under 500.
We're at that point where it's like, Listen, you're not going to, um, you're not making the playoffs.
Still, I do believe that there's value in playing tight, competitive games, but there is no reason that all of our young players and this previous gave us to Philadelphia 76 ers.
All of our young players besides Mitch played under 17 minutes again.
Yeah, that's a 17 problem.
That isn't That is a problem, huh? You know what I want? I think that I think the date that that should be no like that it's called the thanking date or, you know, change philosophy off your team.
I think it's a trade deadline because, you know, still getting my life if you can.
You can say that that even if you're trying to play the vets over the young guys is maybe you can try toe raise their value.
So after the deadline, if we didn't deal him and you're stuck with him, So you all you're going, you know, try to get those couple of wins and I don't know what was the morality or something like that may be, but I don't see you know, anything else that, you know, almost.
Let's call it developing the on guys because I don't like the banking word.
And it's two different things for me.
It is developing guys who give them minutes to play on the court and get experience and, you know, develop on court.
But there's no better way to develop a player than on port in an endgame, you know, and thanking is just, you know, blowing games on purpose.
So that's all night, right? And that you don't want to do right, because, yeah, you don't want to do that.
Just blow games on purpose.
So you know R J is having a heck of a game.
He's about to have 40 and you take him out because he might win it for you.
That's tanking, right? We don't want to do that.
Um, that's what it is.
It was only last year.
And, you know, my only thing about you know about getting the players value up is that to me, most of the guys that we have they've been around the league for a while.
People know what they are, what they could do.
Now you can say, you know, you know, you could say Ah ah, well, teams want to know what they could do this year.
But for the most part, I think people know what they could do.
I mean, there's tons of foot is out there.
They know what they can and can't do.
Um, but I would agree.
Probably the trade deadline is that date.
I mean, and then Mike Miller is in a precarious situation, right? Because his job depends on wins and losses, though.
His job, the paints on.
Ah, lot of it. Not all of it.
But I'm going to say a lot of it is gonna depend on wins, Alexis and they're probably looking to see, I think I read this somewhere.
I don't know where you and it was.
In fact, it's just, you know, someone's thinking, you know, some, right? I forgot who it is.
But maybe they're looking to see over this time.
And maybe it's up until the deadline.
Was it the coaches, the players? It's me. Ask you this question.
So again, you are live Gammell.
What I was gonna say was okay.
Depends on wins and losses for Mike Miller when it shouldn't be like in a perfect world, shouldn't it be how these players react to to Mike Miller? Because, yes, he hasn't been giving a pulse.
Yeah, he wasn't given a full season.
But these players, um, for the most part, it's the young Pete, the young ones, Really, I think respect and react to whatever he's given out.
So that's why I'm thinking shouldn't be, does it doesn't really have to be awful wins and losses, because it is obvious that this is gonna be, you know, this is a lost season, you know, right now, yeah.
It was watched within, like, I guess, like the first month of un of November.
I mean, we saw how Jonathan was gone, and we want perhaps at least some hope some faith that, you know it's gonna get turned around.
And it just was.
And but soon as you put, you know Mike Miller in there.
You put a scheme in there, you put a some stability as far as, uh, running plays.
You and the players seem to, you know, you respect them.
Ah, lot of players are Those vets are gonna be here, So why wouldn't you take ah, guy like Mike Miller? Not to mention the, you know, somewhat success he had, you know, in the G League? Yeah.
No, no, I get that.
But, um, you know, I guess we just don't know.
We just don't know.
Um, you know what's been if there's been a man, any man date.
So what's been discussed or what's been said? As far as you know, to Mike Miller to say, Hey, this is what we want to see from you up until a certain date.
That's why it probably you know, Ah, a lot of people calling people calling forward and getting upset.
I mean, I think you know, we're at that time, but you never know what's going on.
I guess we should waiting to see what happens at the deadline.
Because then, even at the deadline, you understand exactly what I'm about to come to you. Nate.
You understand exactly where they are.
If and when you know the deadline passes and if they start the wave guys, you know exactly where they are then, right? You know, maybe they make a couple of trades, and then the guys that won't trade it if you see them get waved and you kind of know or if they just tell him because I think that some of those guys that Iran the one in one year, the one on one deals you could stay still might be able to put them in trades at the ah, during the dry season.
Right? Don't draft.
And during the off season, so you still might be able to put them in trades.
So you may not see those guys get waved.
Is they still be Capt.
Phil, a distant might be space filler for trades.
Okay, so some real quick, real quick, and you can get on this till you and Andy and get one.
Remember how last year towards the, um after the trade deadline, I think we let go in his cancer, and I don't know if we let those from other players, but can't we do that at the end of this trade trained deadline? If no one takes porters of nobody takes Ellington and nobody takes? Um uh, well, I'm not going to throw it.
Alfred and Dad like heart, not because of money.
All right, that's that's what I was getting at.
Because, like I said, um, I really want to see our youngsters on the team. Now.
I really want to see them get right and that really like to see what some of our G leaders can do is, well, it's like it's like, you're more, uh, Peters.
You know, I really want to see what they could go now and see you can You can.
But see, here's the thing.
Like, I'm just saying Bobby Portis because you brought it by reporters by reporters to make a 15 million this year, and then he has a, um there's a team option for next year, right? So, yeah, let's say that you don't trade Bobby Portis.
You can still use him in a trade there in all seasons.
Okay, Okay, Right now it's up to the Knicks.
The Knicks have until June 28th on Bobby Portis.
Let's just say they haven't no, not Bobby Portis.
I think Bobby Portis is just a team option for next year.
Other players open pay in Wayne Ellington.
There's a the Knicks have until June 28th to make there, you know, to to either wave them or, um, day the waving bye, June 28th or their contract becomes fully grown. Ups option.
Right, So So So now you still may be to trade those guys during the off season, or I think you can still trade him during the draft is well, right.
You know who I am and who knows what.
I'm not saying that they will be.
I'm just saying you could so you still may not see those guys get traded or waved, you know? So unless only last Look, guys, just like the only problem with this is if you're not gonna play him like, let's say you're gonna sit Bobby Borders on the end of the bench, he's going to get this grand old, and it's gonna be bad chemistry for the team in the back.
Look, look for the you know, general manager that he's holding guys hostages? No, because it Sze like that.
They they are still going to be better than that.
You know the rookies.
So basically day they would deserve the playing time.
And that's that's what we were talking about.
Car Merrill, right? Ah, a couple of months back that, you know, he's still probably gonna be better than the rookies and the young guys.
But if he's not gonna get playing time, that's gonna be lowballing on.
And we're gonna be on our basic organization that we're going to do that.
No covering ourselves with development of young guys.
It's still a bad look.
Okay, I Hey, I get that.
I could go ahead and eat, okay? Yeah, I think I think honestly, I think Mike Miller's decision has already been decided.
I'm going forward with him.
I mean, listen, it's unfortunate, but that's what happens when you're in some coach.
You inherited a bad situation from the former coach, where a lot of players, you know, liked and favored that coach, but also to, you know, he's been hit with a lot of injuries.
Lately, he's been hit with a bad schedule.
And the problem is is that we just have not won.
And that's the reality.
I mean, Fizdale was fired with how many wins I don't care for.
With what? How many years? How many Wednesday? Happening? Oh, what? Yeah, four times between years.
Okay, Start went total by seven wins.
So I just I mean and the schedules is brutal, you know, still going for I mean, hopefully we get Cleveland tonight.
Who knows? We might not, but I just He's in a lose lose situation.
I just really don't think that that they're planning on bringing that.
I mean, I think that they're gonna let him play it out the season, you know, And unless the Knicks make a crazy run at the end and make it into the playoffs, I mean, he's not gonna be bad, and and he is basically coaching for his future career and having for other opportunities on somebody else's bench.
Or maybe even have a chance that I had coaching gig at the end of season, who knows? But he's coaching for himself, so we're not going to see the young players, I truly believe because, you know, he is trying to coach and win.
Well, I mean it.
You know, when you're talking about someone's, you know, when you talk about a coaching and if he has, you know, he's looking for, you know, trying to retain his job.
Um, you could be right.
You know, he's trying.
He's trying to play a CZ well as they can.
I mean, I think any of us in here would be doing the same thing, because when we do get a new coach, if he's not the head coach, there's no guarantee that that coach wants to keep him around, all right? And of course, we could all sit here and say, Oh, he'll get a job someplace.
He'll get a job someplace.
But that's debts.
That's not You can't think that way, right? Oh, well, you know, I'll get a job someplace you can't think that way.
You got to try to get it now because you never know if you know, we could all say he's going to get a job someplace.
But until that ain't dries so that Nick is on that paper, right? You know, saying he doesn't have the job.
You know, exactly what I'm saying is his mentality right now is he wants the way because the more wins you can put under his belt with this kind of situation of what's going on, it's gonna look a little bit better if he does try to go apply for assistant position or maybe even gets put his name into, ah, head coach and opportunity.
You know, I really think Mike Miller, right? I think he wants the team the players to do well and develop.
But at the end of the day, this is about him.
He's trying to look at this future and what's gonna happen, because I think truly he knows in his mind that I'm not gonna be around.
The only other thing I could say to you and then I'm gonna get to Guillermo is if they have given him a guarantee that even if we get a new coach, we're gonna keep you want staff, you know, then maybe he wouldn't have had.
Maybe that pressure wouldn't be there for him.
So let's see what happens after the trade.
Definitely never seen that home.
Let's be really it's what you say a situation like that? Uh, I don't know.
I mean, not with the Knicks.
Williams, Uh, give good.
So you never know what the next you know, they made you never know what the Knicks and he might go, but, I mean, but what I'm saying what I'm saying, I don't know if that would be.
I guess it would be a bad thing and saying, if you if you hired a new coach, you want that coach too? Hire their staff.
You know what I'm saying? You want that? Costa hire this there.
And so I guess you know, it's a bad thing in that sense, having Mike Miller around, it's probably never a bad thing.
I think about Mike Miller is he was never really.
I mean, it was added on staff.
I don't even know if it's highs of Tisdale before that.
No, I don't think he was added on.
He had he had ties to Phil Jackson.
That was not ties to Phil Jackson, but he was record out of the film.
So Gamow, um real quick, man, we talked about, you know, we kind of talked about the week a little bit.
And then I want to find out from you guys who was your player. Two weeks.
I mean, have you been watching? You have been watching this show.
Have you been watching this show? No, no, no, no, no.
I know. So I'm just okay.
I was trying to say if the Heat played that game, that game was on the set.
I don't remember what, exactly Whether the cabbie and that game was before this week started before.
It was 10 thing to put it in and added into this week.
But I didn't did it last week.
That would be a second right now.
Right now, it seems like carpaccio, Man, I'll say this, man, if you're gonna give a player, you know, player of the week or whatever, I guess you have to give it thio.
Gotta give it to Morris with the last game against the sixes.
How do you plead? Um, you want to give it Thio? It sucks because you want to give it to random for some of the games it's had.
But this is what I come when I come to, like, the ineffectual score, like the infection.
Production right way looks good, but more bullheaded.
Plays kind of open, like supersede what you've done and then overall team player. Right.
So how much are just hard on Randall? The whole team.
Just like crap trash.
I guess I'll give it a Morris.
And just one thing on the home Mike Miller thing.
I think Mike Miller.
It's whenever Coach comes into a, uh, a student like a **** situation like the Knicks have.
Is that bad? Right? And the guys trying to sa***e pieces you don't have ah, plunderer of young talent with All right, let me mismatch and see what I can get to see. All right.
We may not be winning before the future.
Who could play Three World? Good.
We found a guy who could play the rebound really good, and he just got drafted, right? So, like, if you look at, say, the Golden State Warriors, they got that kid Ah was saying that the rookie's name.
Um, leader, is it, uh, leave.
Ask our whatever.
Oh, every patch.
Got words like, you know, that's a guy who looks like you might be a guy.
Could build, all right? And so you take a situation where your team is doing that poorly and your sal***ing to say, Hey, even if Clay and Curry come back and all these guys come back healthy, we actually have another piece that maybe when those guys starts to move on, you know, you get older.
Now we have something we can build off.
And thank God that you found him out this year.
Ah, Steve, Kurt.
Because now you helped us.
We don't have to go to overspend because you got that Travis er and things.
We found a so called Gemma Week Development, sir.
Guy that doesn't really have that.
You don't have a plethora of young guys.
Besides, maybe Mitch R. J.
You know, people say not.
I'm not really hire Knox, but really a plethora of young guys.
That's like, That's like, you know, we weren't thinking that he was gonna be that, but we see it now and we could develop him.
We could fit him into this.
He could He could get more minutes.
He couldn't saw Intar scheme.
So Mike Miller right now is being judged, I guess on a curve you say It's really unfair to say, you know, right now, I think you know yes, he's putting I think he's taking the narrative from the front office or the gender Say, Hey, take out veterans, Try to show here showcases Must be so we could try to treat him off.
I think you're not gonna see a proper Mike Miller into the trade deadline.
And even then it's still kind of unfair because this is not really, you know, you brought him to the to the dinner.
I told him, I hear the ingredients cook and he's I I don't I don't know howto Tonto You, right? Yeah, you brought him to the dinner, but you didn't say, Hey, what do you want us to buy? Just get the ingredients of the degree that they sell at the store, the going away stuff that's about to rot.
And you said no joking on the next plane out dated stub ithe Right now.
Like I said, you saw certain things like this one thing that Mike Miller was doing, and this is a initially see, I think that when Mike Miller came in, obviously that the single, the single meeting, the players only meeting with Morse.
Those guys after physical five, maybe a little fire And these guys, Right? And you saw that Mike Miller.
You didn't really see a crazy change in the that the scheme.
But you saw Haiti hot potato get rid of the ball more quickly.
Right? So you see it sometimes in the game and I think makes a plane while you kind of see it slows down in the fourth quarter.
Sometimes it undeserving so sometimes because obviously, if you have a hot guy, you saw it with my guard.
Take the ball in light of what's names, hands to write.
And so, But in what you see is that sent those messages started, Thio cannot be refreshed and yada, yada, yada, quagmire A.
Because on one hand you have to kind of showcase some of your veterans to say, All right, we try to trade them.
By the other hand, they're not doing what you want them to do right when it comes to fourth quarter staff time and the bulge is basically stops and we're not pushing the ball around as we were doing in earlier games early in the game, It's like, All right, So what is Mike was supposed to do? So I just think we gotta wait till some things clear out.
Maybe some guys that sign might could be random.
Could be trauma.
I'm just saying I don't know me here.
Oh, I mean, you know, and we're going to get some news rumors soon, but as far as I understand everybody, everybody, Yeah, besides, our genes on the train decides our genes on the trading block.
So I guess we'll we'll see how that turns out. Your guys.
There's 159 views, I think it says right now.
And I we see, like, five lights.
So if you guys go hit the heart.
But I think that, uh, you could hit that hard on you just share it out on this app.
I've yet to get 100 people live at one time.
So I'm really trying to get 100 people live in here at some point in time.
You mean that crazy like I mean yes, is different YouTube.
Come on, guys. You'll be on YouTube.
It will be at very least on, like a slow day like 340.
Like it's just hard to the people from knew it too, you know? Yeah.
The people that's from New Tube aren't used to it over here yet.
So, you know, I put up a little short video to tell people to come on over here, you know, saying, but the problem is, some of those people just don't click the description, right? Right.
You know, they don't click on the link, but it'll happen slowly, but surely it'll happen.
So my player the week and I had, you know, I thought about all the same stuff that you thought about.
Um, Gammon thought about all the same stuff that you thought about, but it still was.
You know, when I looked at the production of other players Um, Please, Randall.
This week, the average 21.
7 averaged 11 rebounds, 3.
4% from the field, 46.
7% from three this week.
Yeah, he was 50% in two of the games and 40% in one game.
I think it was 40% from three against these sons.
Um, yeah, I was I was surprised myself.
I looked I said, really? So, yeah, he's my player of the week.
He actually had a good week up into the fourth quarter of the Sixers game.
He actually, he had a good week.
It was playing well up into that fourth quarter when you started doing just some boneheaded stuff and they are gives, you know, I it sucks.
I don't want to give it to him because I said he produces at you.
Like you say average 20 some point.
So and it was the, uh, Which game was it was in the jazz game.
Yeah, that's when you started doing bone stuff in the fourth quarter, right? But like before that the guy was crashing the boards on the offensive end, he was hungry.
Ah, he was the only guy to kind of keep us in.
It's just like you notice in.
You know, it is.
I tried to judge Julius Randle on, like that level where you look at it in isolation on say yes if you you know the next one or not.
You took these stats.
You had a good week.
But as I when you look at a guy juice, Randall is like him, and you know he could do so much more in terms of stuff that doesn't show up on a statue that could help lead us to wins.
And he's not doing that so that it bugs me because he's not.
He's not incapable player now, using capable he is or what he uses.
Coming in a second year, you know, kind of find his weight.
That's all right.
You know, components, stuff, given time.
But it's like has talent.
You enroll Jews, right? It could be better in this, like it should not be.
Loses many games with that talent.
Now people talk about how smart he is and other stuff.
You know, Bob La.
But this is a guy who's been developing his offensive game throughout the years, and you're like, Why aren't the winds coming with that? So, yes, that's what I'm trying to issue, and I don't think the winds are going to come with him.
You know, it's gonna have to be more.
I you know, you know, my question at the beginning of the season with Julius Randle was um, you know, could he, you know, Could he take the next step? Uh, people thought a lot of people thought.
Yeah, some people thought No, Um, I think it's become a penetrate this year.
Ah, that you know, he's probably more likely going to be 1/3 player on a good team.
Still, you know, you you know, you need to see you want to see what it looks like when there's other players around.
You know, I'm saying, But you know, just with some of the things that he does, he's probably going to be best as 1/3 player, not the guy that has all the responsibility, but the guy that the third player, that's that next factor that you know, goes so goes on a streak, Will.
He has 30 points per game, but everything isn't on him.
You know what I'm saying? I was in session for you.
There's a puzzle right now because what you just said is really important, right? So for a guy who's 1/3 will on the team, right? Oh, no good team.
And you're hoping makes become good and you know me by prayer. We've become good.
Say his final years.
I'm like that, right? And you could see that.
How do you justify his usage than right? Because if you're 3rd 1 on the team, that means you're uses isn't high, but you're fishing enough for that.
When you do get the ball, it's okay that you have it because you're Fisher enough to make those shots to, regardless of the fact that you don't get too many books.
So how do you turn to use Randall? You know, say, best case in their heart of the Knicks turns use Randall into a so called third wheel, but with less users because he's a high usage guy.
You know, like that makes it for this or whatever, but I think he's high uses for this team.
I do feel like right, but I mean, for this team, I think he's high usage night.
But I think that he could be very efficient with you because he still is like he can go to the best.
I mean, it gets out of control sometimes, right, but he could go to the basket so fast and so strong when he gets there.
It's very hard is one of those players that once he's going downhill, you know you don't want to get in his way.
You know, I'm saying and I think on a really good team and especially have a point guard, you know? They're gonna find him moving to the basket.
I'm saying, and then that's where he still might be averaging 18 and 11 because you're gonna find a movement to the basket and he'll be taking 10 shots, be making seven.
And old shots are, you know, you know, be shooting 50% 53 persistent flu or something like that, you know? So I still think that he could, you know, he can. He can give you that.
He's just not the guy that l'm is going to gonna lead the attack.
You know he's not.
He's not the guy that's gonna lead the attack.
But for this week, Julius Randle, I got Julius Randle is to play the week.
Last week, it was R. J. Barrett.
This week, Julius Randle, we came back against Miami, had a good game.
No doesn't count for this week, but he had his 21.
7 points, 11 rebounds, 3.
7 assists job, 45.
4% from the field from the field and 46.
7% from the three point line.
And he's got his average up to shooting about 45 46%.
It was low, really low earlier in the season.
Now let's get to some news of rumors, all right? Obviously, the Knicks signed any woman to a two way contract.
People are anxious to get him up here.
It's a plan, you know, It's probably I'm actually going to go watch a play tomorrow.
I'm going to watch it.
I'm gonna go watch.
I hope hopefully is going to be with Well, tomorrow.
Hopefully is gonna be with Westchester.
Nick's because that playing out going to watch him play.
Um, can you, uh, can do a video on it? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's what I hope to do.
I'm hoping that I can, you know, maybe get a chance to to get an interview with him with something like that.
I doubt it, but I'm hoping that maybe I can, um Percival Don't know.
Listen, this city, as he tries to be on this humble crack getting, were at the game.
We had agents coming up to him and giving him gifts.
I not old kneeling down him.
Know where the bodies are? Like, why's that? Might come up to do, like here, agents literally giving him gifts and kazoos.
And also the great 70 you tomorrow with Kenny Woman.
Don't don't act surprised Hearing had this in a bag.
Already talked to his agent Simmons.
So continue soon Because you're trying.
I don't I don't I had one set ups.
I do I want with the goodies, man.
I know you don't want me.
Oh, waas, I wish I was.
I do not have one set up.
I'm hoping I could get one set up by something.
I sent out the email to see if I could get something set up, but I haven't heard anything back.
I haven't heard anything back.
I know what you're trying to get me.
Oh, it's like, Oh, Giant a just We'll get back, We're gonna get back to Kenny Wound.
But you know what I am working on and hopefully something happen.
Uh, this year, trying to get this basketball game of, you know, every word.
NBK basketball game.
Yeah, I'm hoping to get.
I want to get one guy on your mark on these people in the chat session.
Like, you know what you say.
I know you're gonna pin me burger market.
We're talking about how Mark I little Jumper knows itself.
I was, like, comments and one, I think was one.
Videos like Mark really like that.
And it marked on now, like, Oh, yeah, I've done my steel Yeah, I know it's gonna be me versus Mark.
No, don't s Oh, yeah, I'm trying to get it.
Hopefully, hopefully we can work it out.
We can get it being that that that should be fun.
That would be great.
Yeah, that'd be real fun, but yeah, Kenny.
Whoa, man, I know everyone is anxious to see you now.
I don't want anybody.
You know, what I don't want people to do is suspected to come in and be a lightning rod right away.
You know, I'm saying because offensively, he's not really gifted offensively right now, you know? I mean, he's basically gonna He'll be catching hoops to the basket and some of those things, and you'll see some Probably some electrifying block.
You know, but he's still got a lot of his game to work on his 21.
So you know it's 20 one's got a lot of his game to work on, you know? So becoming expecting that he's just gonna, you know, all of a sudden just start killing and put his name in rookie of the year conversations or something.
Well said, a thing about it is the one thing I want tea from who is not so much offense of game, but just his defense.
I mean, you gotta you gotta admit, you put him and Mitchell Robinson on the front line.
That is going to be a monster, um, cover for anybody to try and get it to get there who paw? Because not only you have to go go through him, but you have to go through Mitchell Robinson as well.
And that's what I'm more envisioning.
I envision them getting the blocks, getting the rebounds in and out outlet in it, too.
Which seven point gar we have, and then then getting the, uh, you know, either getting the dunk or getting shot, it's just a better shot.
So I'm just looking for them to really bring it on the inventor.
Then that's what I'm looking at. Yeah.
Eso Kenny woman to learn from If these guys they need to start watching some of the older heads right when your athletic like that 68 you made your game is roll right? One guy can you win? Should watch.
And I'm not saying never abuse but Dennis Rodman.
Right? So that is.
Rodman didn't just make his name off of, like, just really good defense per se, and it's in isolation.
But Dennis Rodman was a magician in terms of timing rebounds, right, which is extremely important.
When you take those those long shots, we take those five shots.
Dennis Rodman had a great knack for known Windows bolted at takes an immense focus.
I'm going to talk about all he didn't score.
Go back to the 96 Finals if anybody doesn't believe because I mean, I think it had back issues and Jordan was not efficient.
And remember, join us, come out from baseball.
He came back a little bigger, you know? I think it's, you know, two years removed from it, right? So, um, when a place to be out If you want to go back, go wash those films in terms of the defense and rebounding.
Positioning Dennis Rodman Price to the one, uh, lead the series.
Envy people gonna give me for that.
But you go back and watch.
You won't be able to argue.
So Kenny wants of me.
I think he's come in and just focus on what he's been doing well and try to find alright.
If I've been the game, I know I may have Randall.
I may have a bunch of guys that maybe admits because one thing that happens with Mitchell awesome is that where Missus Down Low, he doesn't get a lot of help in terms of B 23 guys boxing amount and maybe the ball comes out.
There's no one around because everybody's in neither.
Just standing at the three point line on trying to get our running back to defense are really helping out.
And where Kenny was that type of energy guy where he's gobbling up rebounds and you get in even more offensive possessions or even on the defensive end.
We're not letting teams get second chance rebounds.
Oh, our possessions because can you in is there I want to see from this case, but you don't have to meet coming threes, that so do what you do best and have focus and concentration because our team is a very like you team and we don't have a lot of situations.
And I want to go back to what you were saying.
Good more about About Mitchell Robinson.
He was before the road trip, the West Coast 12 trip.
He was on a left at all time high.
You know, as far as his confidence, I believe I believe that the Clipper game and the the Laker game really him shut up.
Because an equipment game you saw Montrell, I can never say his name.
Just Martha's Harold.
Yes, Yes, he destroyed him.
I mean, he literally destroyed him.
So you go from that game to the Laker game where you have to velvet, Jeannie.
And no matter what you say about Saddam McGee, um, it's still approach.
We have Dwight Howard, and then you throw in, um um the unibrow, all those guys right there.
There's style defensively, mind.
And I don't think he knew about that.
I think Mitch just really got shook, and I think that shook his confidence.
I think that's why you obviously Oh, and then the icing on the cake was Go bear from Utah.
So he had to go up against four of those, um, those top set top centers.
I think its strictest confidence a little bit.
And I think that's why you're probably seeing is the part played because his confidence is just at all time low right now.
That's when you look at Kenny Wu in right in the little interviewed.
I watch, I think, soon isn't the one episode that sitting like a part like that little partial view, whatever.
And this is why I could be important once the veterans get traded or this becomes all right, let's see what the young kids could do.
Because can the woman to me, Mr Robinson is still, I think he's still, you know, relatively shot.
Even though he's coming out of his shell a lot, you know, it's gonna take some time anyone.
When he talks, he plays a little confidence.
I think that when you put a guy in the league right, it's kind of like they play with that chip on his shoulder is like, Oh, yeah, I didn't believe in me.
Not that makes him just saying like the lead didn't believe in me.
Right? And I worked my way up to the point you had the Warriors and those guys looking at me.
So when I get up here, right, if I'm not one of these bitter guys, I'm not like a porter's guy while we play good begins form teams and Treasury.
You know, if he comes up here, I feel like he has that attitude where, like I said, he's not gonna be coming in trying to hobble up in garbage Boy.
He's the type of guy it seems that he prides himself on running after the ball goes those dirty plays.
Where's I? I don't want to do it because I don't want to, you know, get hurt or expended expound or spending the energy.
Whatever he has to come in as an energy guy, I think that he has a talks with confidence.
He talks with it and mentality of like, um Oh, come on, I'm a chemist.
Come here, work hard.
And so that's what that mixing like you said that many times with this team when we're down, you know even some of the simpler things which Robinson he turns up to talk about.
Look at the Clippers game.
Look at the Jazz game.
There were times when mentally he's like he's just looking at the ball and it all of a sudden, Montrose Harrow is boxing about downloading its like bro.
You should have your first, your first Russian a bit create the space and leverage.
And when that bulk of blows up, at the very least, it is gonna go to the other team's gonna be because a long rebound I just couldn't get, you know? I mean, so I seek anyone coming in.
I like his mindset like his attitude, and I think that him played with guys like R.
Playing guys admit you're playing with these young guys where they could kind of create their own identity outside of Morris.
Outside of even, Randall was still gonna be here because it's gonna be more of the youth movement.
You know if there's any benefits for the team because his team again, what we should be your last year create identical culture.
We got to do it now.
We got start now, but I like I like Mike Miller being at the helm of that, even if it's for a half.
Um, Minnesota traded What's his name? I can't even think of his name now.
They traded Jefty to Atlanta Hawks over the past week.
Um, and they're going after D'Angelo Russell.
But then, of course, it comes out yesterday already someplace yesterday that they can't get D'Angelo. Russell.
They're gonna focus their energy.
Their time on Dennis Smith, Jr get it.
Makes going to the temples.
Mask my new favorite team, bro. Yo.
I think the low sucks.
Whose garbage you should be in the D League D S.
J is what you guys need.
Mantilla's Jay's best point guard.
You could give us give us peanut chews, big beans.
Where do you guys want? We'll say you have the DC tomorrow.
I don't a give me what you say.
That tongue and shake. Of course. Right.
Okay, I e I think this is great, man.
Oh, because I don't know something.
This is gonna happen because they're just better options.
I mean, you talk about relatively speaking, right? You talk about De Lo and then is J.
I just don't see any guy who's not healthy.
They would just wait to use cut, because these ain't gonna get these guys into the playoffs this year, right? And, yeah, he's not gonna get like, he's not gonna put them over the hump de lo.
I don't know what it's simple was already.
Now, in terms of standings, two moves are 15 27.
I mean, if you're training for a deal Oh, I think it's because you know the whole deal.
Oh, Booker, uh, was this guy's name capping, but obviously find it most likely get bunker.
So you settle for De Lo.
The deal's a guy wears all right there.
15 27 the West, They probably is not gonna help him do anything.
So maybe they look into it next year, right? So if they get a look into it next year, that was supported training for a guy.
Now who's not gonna do anything right? You're safe.
You're safe Ideas, J now.
But like you train Adam or like you were trained for diva.
You're gonna make that trip.
But since you're not gonna do, why would you treatment using this one? So I don't know if this is and this is Pir Iain Begg Lee.
So it's not, you know, just any any personnel there.
This is what? Your ugly here.
I mean, you know this party in Bagley.
So it was not like, this is just anybody out there.
And this is what I was talking about before about how we've we get these players in the beginning and we think that they're going to be great, at least for us.
And then sooner the season starts and we're in the middle of it, and I'm home garbage.
But they're not the expectations that we that we expected out of them.
You look at the S J.
I'll go back to it again during his draft.
All right? Pick up milk, Tina.
But everybody wanted either D s J or Monk or Donovan Mitchell.
Now that those four Donavan Mitchell he was a man, but a whole bunch of other teams passed on him, so we're not You know, um, we're not, uh, that I won't say liable, but approaching tax on, but it's J bat.
We get the S J in a trade and okay, so he doesn't have a really good year with us last year, but he's working out. He's doing all this.
He's doing all that for the summer.
He's thinking, Okay, he's gonna come back.
And now look, he doesn't even know he's hurt now.
But he didn't do anything, Uh, you know, when he was playing for us.
I mean, I know that I know, you know, with the definite step mom and everything I act, you know, my heart goes out to him and everything, but it's like still if you even if you didn't have that what? Where did you Where did you bring forests? Because, you know, you know, I broke when and this is the whole thing with the holes eye on Moran thing, and I might have the same eyes.
I might not be a good player, but what What? A lot of people do right in terms of scout and especially the media.
And And this is why they say in football and they have if you haven't seen it, don't Don't ever let the combine fool you.
Because if he wasn't shown us on his tape and he shows it all within a day, whatever this fool is, usually fools Go right thing with these J When you watched him at N C.
State, they didn't have a winning season.
He wasn't considered this leader, right.
Everything you saw from D.
J was athleticism, high flying dunks.
But he also allegedly had someone of an attitude.
But not like like, Oh, I'm not gonna like it was just kind of thorny, right? You stole the intangibles with Donovan mentioned us why there were Nick officials who are high on Donovan Mitra.
And when it Phil Jackson, take Donovan Mitchell.
Same thing when you saw John Marin, right? So Jammer.
And that's why people call me crazy When I saw a Zion, I say is have intangibles.
Everything we saw design on a lot of it was a split, right.
He was these East precious dose.
But what people didn't realise what or not say, didn't realize.
But what they didn't harp one because it's not pretty.
Was Tom Morant was leading that Murray state team even though they lost the first round, but he was leading that Murray say team with a bunch of excuses.
Mean it Issue number, a bunch of nobodies.
I mean, nobody's Murray State can and they say that issue you should.
3% from three. Safer says his heart of hearts.
She's more right.
You talk about a guy who was facilitating who was, you know, his defense was iffy, but you saw the intangibles.
You saw him as a leader.
He never sat down and just took a whole bunch of shots himself.
When it was Hey, John Moran is that might be the number two guy.
He never turned it in to let me just turn into ice alone and dump fest.
And you saw him when he lost that last game in the 20.
This guy was cry, hurt him, and this was a team that you looked at it and it's like they say in that they're not getting anywhere.
Yeah, I mean, so the certain things that you look at with a player, right? Look a style of play.
Look at how his game translate to the N B.
A many Andrew Wiggins for instance, right, everybody, all injuries.
The next guy Bob Bumble you saw from him was athleticism.
It wasn't all he likes that elbow jumper he shoots like 8 60% from their turnaround jumper.
Is that that little hazy? His euro step, his court vision? Alma, it was athleticism.
And now we're starting to see what these, Jane, Why it's so hard.
This guy was Number was eight, whatever he was to have a wee look at the proposition.
And that was Oh, my gosh.
Did everybody fall for this? That's what happened.
Isn't like soon says all the time.
These guys in school for one year think about this.
You played only ate your life and you play your high school years, right? Oh, you don't get any real instruction for the most part, let's just some kid really trying to come up and your nose gives everybody else.
And you really have to work your way up there, right? So you're getting just praised.
Whatever in high school, get to play in any way you want to you.
You can't guys by 50 points.
They're playing probably out of position or a star.
That's not really suitable for college or envy, right? Gonna cost for one year.
That's basically another showcase, right? Because like, I just gotta prep for you up in and get you out And what time to get to MBA.
You haven't learned really one iota as howto probably play the position that you have to play it now.
That's why I have a bunch of guys who are 6867 or 696 10 trying to play the point guard position because that's they dominated like that in high school, maybe in college.
But when you get to the empty, it's all right.
Well, can you actually play the proposition that's at your height? And if you're not support a town like say it Ben Simmons, right.
You could get away with that.
Now you're kind of stuck.
Now you have to go back to the lake and religion.
A game in which I said Wendy s J on Levi you're gonna get from these days.
You go back to the Geely and changes his game.
Yes, to sit down and understand.
Tomorrow, Chris Paul II spent the summer Chris Paul.
I don't know how that means that means you need to get proper instruction when you see that that pick and roll coming.
How do you react when you have him on one side? You direct.
Everybody on the other side are gonna It's tell you got one big men to come and stay right there.
You double up to you.
Other side when you're playing golf balls a point guard.
What do you do? He has someone so many nuances of the game.
Maybe a year of G.
We tow properly, come back and say I'm a proper point.
So what do you think? What? My intelligent Minnesota really wants him.
What do you think the Knicks can get? Form? Nothing.
But I get for him because he's hurt.
You're improving now.
If you told us, you remember frustrating for him like the Mavericks the year that he came to the next.
You can fool them, I say.
All right. He didn't get the proper play. Whatever.
Look it in one and whatever.
That's one thing.
You can fool them, but they seem D is Jason and he doesn't at lettuces, so they won't get nothing for him, eh? So what do they want him? I think it may.
I think it also might be blind is out.
There might be it might be a my sanity bag.
Ladies line at all.
It could be misdirection, right? So we have no idea, but I just can't see why.
The hell with it.
But David Kahn is out there anymore, right? That idiot who drafted way don't have any comical g m's really roaming around the streets like that where they will make that Asa nine of a decision.
Now they do that.
The Knicks better pray that guy like a thank God that this happened a butterfly's guys, because I wouldn't trade a second round for him.
But we'll see what I'm thinking.
Is that kind of like Marquel folks, right? With Orlando, Maybe they feel like they can buy low.
And, you know, if he if he because Look, yeah, that's a fear that that you're totally writes a stuffed, and that's you're totally right about that.
Um, you You hope that D S J doesn't turn in tow like what a more couple belts is.
I mean, that is the fear.
I mean, my a great difference.
Article Cobra health holds, allegedly right on a motorcycle accident that caused nerve damage and, like the back of his body, right, like the the alignment or whatever, right? So I didn't I don't I don't know that.
And they kept it under wraps.
That's why there was that whole fuzzy globalization.
But Marco Foot's even before that, when he was out watching, even I wasn't the biggest fan of him.
You saw he had point guard potential in town, right? So that was always there is mental.
He's just so it's not even by low whatever you bought.
Unless the deejay goes like the monastery School for basketball and comes back like a new player, you a selling low when you're fine.
That that risque happening trust look like.
Like many teams in MBA, Dennis Smith Jr makes $4.
4 million this year.
Designer books for four or 5.
6 next year, right? Did he better invest thing then? Then it's up. You know Minnesota.
If they want to trade form right, they paid 4.
If it's not working out, you say we're not gonna make a qualifying offer, you could be an unrestricted free agent if he gets weak.
If you say the Knicks.
So he gave me a free agent after this year, right? No, no.
The next extended way extended it right the next.
Extended his contract.
They picked it up in October, so it's extended until 2021.
And at the end of this 2021 season, the Knicks need to decide whether or not they're gonna make a qualifying offer or any other team that has him.
And if it makes, don't excite him to that.
Oh, they did already.
They did with the Franklin Maquina.
That right there was what they extended him already.
He's already extended until 2021 so he's not a free agent.
This summer is extended.
If the next wave him, they open that money.
Yeah, the O E I. A.
Minnesota has minutes point card.
So they they got some three minutes off because they traded he So what? We got in a beer now? And who's the other point? Have Napier made a good point? They use a lot of like tall, a big men to play at the point guard position.
So yes, they do have spaces.
I think only Napier we talked about.
And like Simpson, Napier is not, you know, obviously kind of a journeyman point where he's not gonna play nice big on Jordan Bell.
But I don't think you can run the d a.
Do you pay you? I just can't see two Bulls, a team that, Let's be honest.
They're kind of been like that.
Question Mark Pierret, because cat showed it might want to leave it.
So you need is many picks as possible.
Be like right? This guy leaves.
We need to have a fresh flock of talent, you know? Look, the center around may not pan out, but I think that a second rounder has more upside than the deer's.
A things I just I don't see them training retreat.
They charge you for another point guard from someplace else, but I don't you say I don't know.
Apparently they have interesting Dennis Smith Jr.
For whatever reason, they had me.
Maybe they feel like they have answered. I don't know.
Um, but also, before we get to play plays in a week, I don't know if you guys got a chance to look at the video on YouTube so you can look at who's going to be doing what, um, or if you're looking at this on your phone or whatever, because I'm going to show it in a minute.
But David Fizdale is going to be on.
I'm gonna be on TV today with Rachel Nichols, so we'll see what he has to say.
You know, it's not going to say anything.
He's not gonna say anything.
You know what? They fizzle because no offense. Rachel Nichols.
She used to be good, but she's insufferable now when it comes to the next man like you.
This segments aren't, you know, the funny citizen.
They hardly give any priests are J.
When Mike Miller was going on his little run, they didn't really give it much praise.
They say space camp over it.
And the funniest thing is that with this next thing now where Carly Urban is just looking like oh or Jesus, why didn't you make Why did we bring him in? They really moment him.
So I think they fizzle.
Look as much we joking thing for so I think something is a Class II.
He has a seed inside of opportunity to say a lot of that.
Subotic's build ESPN uh, at this fire.
He didn't say anything by just the Rachel Nichols thing.
I know she's coming with her like her next terrorist.
It's just like, uh oh, yeah, I got to sound what? I don't like how the fact that, like she actually used to be good in terms of interview, too so and me because they need rings, whatever they just turn into a caricature of herself.
Watch this sober Rachel Nichols Go back to you so you could be one of the women in sports was like, Yo, that's why we need more women in sports, in terms of reporting and media stuff like that.
It was like, you know, it's everything about it, but now she's just this, you know, hunky kind of horrible.
Is that dude, literally.
You're totally right.
Gilmore, I think, also with Paul Pierce, Richard Jefferson, and I don't know who Wells, you know, they love the crowds and everything.
So now that she's on board, you know, with it, I think that's why I don't even I don't even watch her I really don't.
I got so but we have to.
As Nick fans, we have to take the proper time to bash.
You created a segment.
You too. Nice of a guy.
But you need to create a second is like, you know, a shack in a full second.
We like a guy like Richard Jefferson who was a boom at the lead of parts of his career.
Early mystery movies made within that taste clothes.
Okay, but what's your Jefferson? You, LeBron James is your dad.
You can't trust that.
I know you want championship because LeBron James, like, hey, stop.
I hate, uh, Kings in the chat.
Said, maybe get a cobra for Minnesota.
I don't think Minnesota's gonna trade, you know? Nothing going down, Theo.
But I'm gonna get to the place in a week, guys, and get to the place in a week, and then I'm going to see Morgan State Place, so I got to get out of here.
I am going to do the show tonight.
Actually, I got to see how late this game goes with Morgan State.
Oh, I plan on being home in time to do the show.
Maybe it's a little bit later.
Maybe I won't start until 11 or something like that.
If I don't, then I have to do it tomorrow morning.
But I plan on doing it tonight.
I'm gonna be watching the Knicks game from my phone while I'm watching Morgan State Place.
But the plays of the week.
Well, I know what you guys think of the place the week.
I know where most people voted.
I know what I voted, but I'm gonna put him up on the screen.
And then I look at the chat.
See what you guys think of the place in a week.
Did not show you what my playing a week is.
All right? If you guys had video check and watching on sportscast or if you see the video on YouTube, you can look at it on you too.
The plays of the week, Ladies and gentlemen.
And you see that man on the cover? The first played a week.
One of the best place against the Milwaukee Bucks.
To Mitchell Robinson for the dunk.
Good ball movement. Nice penetration.
Nice pass from Knox to Mitchell Robinson.
Nice play It's good play.
We need to see more plays like that.
Number two, that crazy wild past, that elephant paying through to Marcus Morris.
The markets more saved it to get it back to El Foot.
Pain and L for pain is able to penetrate to the basket and lay it in that.
Put the Knicks closer.
Made it 57 54 then, Yeah, I know he's not playing with a team yet, but Kenny woman with a high flying dunk against the capital City.
Go, go! So I threw it in.
There is a beautiful play.
Beautiful play and then Number four.
Mix has a big don't done a stretch in the Philadelphia game and put the Knicks closer to put the Knicks only down by one as Reggie Bullock.
He penetrated to the basket.
Dipped it off to Mitch.
The mitts caught the bang.
It's a big play.
And then number five.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's Marcus Morris.
It gives the next in the lead with 30 seconds left as he pulls up, knocks one in.
It's a big play.
The Knicks didn't pull it out, but it was a big play to hit that shot you see a one more time.
He faces up couple doubles to the right, pulls up, knocks it in.
Ah, too bad the Knicks were not able to pull that one off.
Ladies and gentlemen, But I want to know from you guys.
I want to know from you guys.
What is your play in a week? 01 thing she writes hole up like it was beautiful.
It was old school.
I'd give it Looked like one of mellows little, uh, endgame type of moves.
So I give it two more Isman.
I was I like that.
I'll give her more to everything you said about that.
That was like because you actually thought that we're actually gonna win the gang with him hitting that.
So, um, unfortunately, it didn't happen.
Um, but I'm gonna go with that one as well.
Morris and I went I thought about that.
I was between two hours between, um number three can you won't win.
And Marcus Moors? I probably cheated a little bit that way.
You know, I was just probably biased.
I went with any woman, Um, for the for the play of the week.
I just love the plate, man.
I mean, he just he when you see it so far, it doesn't look as good.
But when you see it close and the way he just, you know, catches, it's kind of slow most in a little bit.
It just puts a little fake.
It looks almost like like C g.
I like is Yeah, I mean, it's It's something the way that this guy can lead me.
That's my play week winner.
You're the genetics man.
He taped, he jumped up and take and put tape on the backboard.
That is ridiculous.
As I'm saying, man, soon as it gets on the garden floor, look out.
I got to go to some.
But when I want that summer, the summer practice thing, man, like I just kept looking at his dunks and I'm like it didn't It was almost a CZ if he'd even really dunk at the apex.
But just to get the dunk off, He just had to, you know, put it in at that like he just had to you know it is.
His hops are just stupid.
I don't know what his genetics are.
God bless his parents, but ah, he Yeah, he's scary, man.
It's crazy if you want a big jump shot. Oh, my gosh.
He'd be Hey. Hey.
But once they're my best.
Yeah, well, I mean, no, right.
If he learns you know it, he's got time.
He seems like, you know, he seems like a home. Okay, does.
That's gonna work hard.
Um, if he can get that together, man, it'll be.
It'll be something.
Hey, it doesn't only something looking at the rest of the week before I get out of here.
We play the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.
We're not the rest of the week.
The beginning of this week, we played a Cleveland Cavaliers at 5 p.m.
Well, I'll be I'll be looking at that one from my phone.
Then we play the Lakers to me play the Raptors.
Sunday we played the nets.
Told us this is a tough looking This is a tough week.
This is tough week.
I mean, you know, you kind of hope that bacon at least pull one off.
Mr. Cleveland Cavaliers is in Cleveland.
The Knicks are not, you know this is the first time and maybe I don't know.
I don't want to say ever but for a very long time that it didn't have a game.
I Martin Luther King's Day.
I said, They play in Cleveland today.
And in this, the Lakers, the Raptors in the Brooklyn Nets for the remainder of the week and then we start the following week on my birthday.
June 28th with June 28.
You mean January 20 January 28 January 28.
Already drinking? Told about 28 next year.
That's my niece's birthday, too. So Okay.
Nick Nick Nick's next Tuesday, 2080.
Denise's birthday? Yeah. Yeah, Okay.
My niece stands right? Yeah.
So make sure that you're both so I appreciate that.
So it's gonna be a tough week, man.
Tough week again. Looking at schedule.
You got Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Raptors, the Nets.
Is any news on if r.
J is gonna be able to come back this week or What's the, uh What? From what I understood? Um, e I don't know.
They were going to re evaluate him.
And you see that game When was Ah, the Phoenix game Just was that Wednesday? Whatever it was, that was I thought that was Was that Friday? Thursday? Right.
So I think they're going to re evaluate him this Thursday.
So, you know, it's a high ankle sprain.
I mean, it is good that he was able to walk off under his own power, but it's a high ankle sprain.
And, man, those things could Who knows? I feel like R J has a strong body, though.
A good body in a strong body, but they're gonna revalue.
Wait, um, on Thursday and then I really see I really started rushing right? Bring ever.
They never Once you start rolling ankle, it never gets it shows that used to be and okay, I robot, right? April 4 times.
And now I have ah, damage on my fifth metatarsal.
Same thing that, like, memory, Katie had that Jones fracture.
So you gotta have it or what I perceive, which is basically if you keep Italy ankle, obviously arteries the argies out that point.
But because I did stuff I did track and I stuff like I just kept rolling it and I kept like, Oh, I'm fine.
But like, over years, just like I felt inflammation on the right side of my foot is like, Oh, like, what the hell? Just come in when I'm minutes for my cat.
So the doctor, he was like, I didn't I tell you about him? He was ****yzing it after the X rated M arias idea.
You have damage in your medicine, you know. Wow.
So R j take your time.
No need to rush.
And I'm not saying Don't you feel good, healthy milk and whatever, but there's no need to rush.
There's no need to try to prove that you're a big man, you know.
You're strong lever taking times a high angle spray.
Let it properly, he'll come back.
You're 110% help because exactly exactly, because basically what happens is those ligaments.
Think of a rubber band, right? We have a rubber band.
Um, you know, when it's new, you know, it is really is tight, right? And then when it stretches out, it gets loose, you know, saying it never gets fibers in, that it never gets back tighter.
Getting those fibers in there can kind of start the rip.
It's like that with your ligaments in your ankle.
Once you you know you sprained it, then those ligaments stretched out.
They never get really get tight like that again.
You know, saying your ankle's a little more loose and more susceptible to being sprained again.
Because those legs Yup.
You know, right? You don't get tight.
You know, that's always that's always issue.
So, yeah, he's got, you know, take care.
What was he wearing? Those masks.
Men like you gotta snap you like a person.
Not I thought these players in the N b A 90% of players in MBA. Where? Nike.
All these injuries that people wear Nikes, have Nikes in Adidas.
And they want to point out a player who has on Pumas all these edges and all these players have right Dan grows busted up his knee.
How many times wearing Adidas? Ah, my style of my many times wearing, indeed.
I just If you're gonna go out, go out of style in style.
Because this this is like pool is like all right.
You were in the air.
Shacks or something like that is like, really? You traitor.
You take this, you roll it from the air shacks.
You don't even just it don't roll the video that's gonna roll with it.
And no matter what you have, you can thank me.
Roll the ankle, man.
No matter what you got on, if you want a role that, you know, I'm only joking.
It's hooking up all our young players with.
Yeah, he'll be quick.
I will say this.
Um, I truly I was thinking about this this morning.
I actually think that this team going forward and years to come, I think this is gonna be our Jay's team.
I see him being the leader of this team.
I really I really dope.
Hey, just Hades.
That that look, that attitude.
Um, and I think a lot of our vets right now, at least Randall, I don't think they want to accept that.
This is that this is gonna be the guy of the future.
I really I really think that.
All right, fellas, I'm about to get out of here, and I appreciate you guys being all with me.
Thank you for having show hope.
Hopefully, everybody, uh, homes and checks it out because it was a good show today.
Yeah, Yeah, I hit them.
Likes guys, hit them like Smith, trying to build out of sports Cast of thing and a lot more things you could do with SportsCastr forces YouTube.
So support the channel.
Keep pushing it, man.
Yeah, because sportscasts, I think, is, you know, they're trying to appeal to a lot of the constant creatives, you know, and it offering a lot of things that seemed to do.
And it's the benefit for us.
It's not like singers, you know, So just push, keep pushing.
And like in the channel, you know, make sure that you know, when other guys in a chat of opposite we talked about China and you to chat, you know, you could just talk about SportsCastr prefer these episodes, whatever.
Just he tried to push him in because SportsCastrs it is a good platform is different.
It's different, but it's good platform.
They got a lot of things.
It's a matter of fact.
Starting next month, um, I'll be calling some Albany Patroons games.
It's called the T B O Scott, the Basketball League and you'll be ableto come on, a SportsCastr, watch the game and then I'll call the game.
It's pretty cool, you know? And this mother knows other teams in the TBL from around basically on the East Coast, I guess, um, but it's pretty close to saying something.
The MBA to that they might be pushing it where you can do the same for any game just like that.
That's what I mean.
It's far down the line, but that's what that's the hope.
So like, doing this thing with the TBL is kind of like an introduction to that.
You know, the kind of learning how to do it, they could do it if they paid, you know, it would cost a lot of money.
They're not there yet, I'm saying, but that money, we're more advertising to get more viewers so that no one was more appetizing.
Be easier from rice.
So I I support the Chano.
If you want to see you seem to do this stuff because you know we've got games or good segments where we do a little follow loans were all of us were just all talking trash and watching the game and ****yzing stuff.
You know, I think that stuff, you know, be fun.
So if we could do it, we're not getting Simmons getting close down by some anonymous trolls or whatever.
You know, You know, that'd be really fun.
So support the chair. Go.
All right, man, let me get out of here.
I appreciate you guys.
Everybody in the chat.
Thank you and good again and enjoy the game.
I'm on my China whites.
Both of them at the same time. That's the plane.
I get it, you guys.
Okay, ladies and gentlemen, a matter Herr thank you for being here with me.
And, uh, actually, I wanted to get this up first.
Thank you, guys, for being here with me.
I will talk to you guys later on tonight.
Weekly is exclusively on SportsCastrs, so make sure you tell everybody to follow man matter.
Here, have a good one base
