Hey, what's going on? All right, I'm coleslaw here, Lord Owen and I am sitting with, um, Lido from titans of the Southwest.
My head so small.
Well, I mean, I can't help it.
I changed things around a little bit, right? I changed a lot of stuff around.
I wanted to make sure that, um I was able to get a lot of other stuff around me.
Wanted to get just more visually happy.
You don't like it? I might change it back, You know, This is just something for me.
Toe test out and see if it works out. Well, okay.
With me Today with me today is Lido from titans of the Southwest.
As a guy, I've talked to many a times with my, um my podcast had him on many, many times.
He's absolutely a great toe have on the show with me.
Ah, he's been following the Tennessee Titans for a long time.
And I would liketo welcome Lido here on my stream with me.
Hey, man, why don't you say something to the guys? Um, I have no idea what you guys are saying.
They have access to the chat, but this is gonna be a really fun one sided conversation with you.
Thanks for showing up on Dad's.
Always thanks for having me back online.
It's always fun talking with you.
Okay, Well, I always love talking football.
Generally, we talk a little bit about in preseason.
Sometimes we talk when we're getting ready to start playing each other Colts, Titans, I mean, happens twice a year.
Um, but this past year, some things have changed with the Tennessee Titans.
Um, you got a new quarterback that seems to be running plays.
Really? Well, you've got Arthur.
Hey, I want to thank Arthur for joining the stream.
I appreciate you being here.
Also, Um, if you're on my page on SportsCastr just hit refresh and then scroll down and you will see that it will show the stream going life.
Um, but anyhow, so let's talk about if you don't mind some of the changes that have happened with the Tennessee Titans at the beginning of the year and throughout the season as it happened, that has gotten that the Titans to where they are now, as opposed to where they were this time last year.
I mean, one of the biggest changes.
Honestly, it was a few years, but whenever we turned over controlling interest, do this Amy Adams drunk.
She came in and totally just changed everything.
She hired John Robinson, who a lot of people forget, made the bid for the first overall pick to the Rams, who ended up getting Jared off.
And we got theirs out of that trade such as Derek can rethink.
You guys probably heard about him.
Um, you know, he got Johnny Smith, the guy who made the ridiculous catch in the corner of the end zone.
A little while ago, we got Austin Johnson.
We eventually got Corey Davis and one of our tackles came from it.
And then he's also the one who made the trade for Tannehill in the off season where nobody really cared about it.
But you look at the numbers.
Miami's actually paying a majority of my Tannehill's contract for him to actively play against him.
So John Robinson made another good trade there and out of that trade, we end up getting David Long or their fifth round, one of our picks that we traded and David Long, just like all of our rookies are contributing.
I think we're among the highest percentage of players, so it's just been a total culture change.
They could have been settled with Mike Mullarkey taking them to the playoffs, but they pulled the trigger and slept that out and brought in Grable.
Who's, you know, total tone setter.
So all of these things combined, you just got lightning in a bottle.
Really, really Well, hopefully we can keep it up. Absolutely.
So I got summers here.
Arthur, I want to thank you for the follow appreciate it.
I have summers here who is Ah, Patriots fan.
Okay, he says he believes that, um, when you guys hired Rabel, that was one of your biggest tone centers because he set last, You say sets the tone for the team.
And he's wondering, Do you think Mike and Bill Belichick had dice conversations this week about talking about coming up against the Chiefs? I doubt it, to be honest with Grable's a very, very business oriented person.
So is Bill, obviously, and he mean he has love for the Patriots organization and, you know, they talk him a lot, But, um, he's any time it's been brought up in press conferences.
He's always just kind of brushed it aside.
Someone asked him what the Patriot Way was, and he said, I think that's the address out there, isn't it? Brushes it aside like that was a part of me.
But I'm a head coach now, and I'm gonna do it my way So they might talk during the off season.
But there was a story out even whenever before they faced the Texans that he didn't he normally talk to Bill O'Brien all the time, but he didn't talk to him at all that entire week leading up to it.
So they were well aware of each other.
And I think they just kind of go into a national thing.
Okay, I don't think Summers believes you.
Um uh, but that's okay.
Um, so variable is obviously I mean, he's got this huge defensive background, obviously, with the Patriots as a player and then, you know, coaching and stuff.
But how big apart is Dean Pees with this defense? Is this Dean Pees? Defense orders, variables, defense.
Oh, I think this is being piece defense.
But with the Vrabel engine behind it, if that makes any sense, you know, appeases.
He's a legend, you know, We had equable in here, and then we went straight to D and peas, and these guys still obviously have something to offer for us.
And we have a lot of the right tools in and breakable.
He's smart enough to know his limits, I believe, to where he wasn't sure about something.
I don't think he had any problem deferring to peace because peas was his coach for the longest time.
And, no, it's just just one of those kind of relationships that they have again is just a really professional relationship.
What about your offensive coordinator, Arthur Smith? What do you think? Oh, yeah, yeah.
Give me your thoughts on him, man.
You know, whenever he first came in, you could weaken, go back and listen to our podcast.
I was really, really excited about him.
And we were We were just so close to jumping off the cliff after so many weeks of just like what is happening.
And then he finally clicked, and he finally turned it around.
You know, the big story that a lot of people are discovering today is that he is the son of the owner of FedEx.
And we all kind of knew that because he's been in the organization.
He survived head coaches going back 45 head coaches.
But he just kind of built his way up with tight ends, coach most recently and then got the offense, that coordinator and, you know, halfway or 1/4 the way through the season he talked to since his dad has connections.
Thea, apparently he knew that General Maddog Briscoe, what is his name? I don't know.
He was He was a general overseas, and he talks to him pretty commonly about, like how to study your enemy and how to turn their strengths into weaknesses.
So he's a smart guy.
I'm glad that he peaked after the coaching.
Hiring been kind of ended so that we would guaranteed to have a for another season.
But I think even if people came knocking, he's a pretty little person.
I think he probably waited out until he felt comfortable that he could do it.
Farmer fifth run, Henry.
It's not hard game plan through a path here and there.
Um, honestly, that's way to look at it.
But also very, very good way of explaining a play actually passed.
Oh, abs, absolutely.
Um, here's the deal.
Okay, So give me what you feel is the biggest differences between Mariota and Kanna Hill.
Oh, man, it's It's an attitude thing, but it's also Tannehill's never really been afraid to pull the trigger.
And Mario, he and man, he's such a nice guy, and he doesn't I don't think he has that absolute killer mentality where there's a different Mario on the field.
Yes, and the players will defend him, but I think Anna held just came in with a totally different kind of fire.
And just like a you put your trust in me, I'll put my trust in you.
Let's go do something special and they don't need any help to throw it 30 times 25 times Hell, even no more than 14 when she did more recently, they just when it matters, he needs to do something, even if it's just scrambling to the sideline for a first down on 1/3 and one, he does those things Mario was.
You know, there's a line that was just good enough.
Mario was just underneath that.
Tannehill's above that and translates through everyone you know.
He didn't have a whole lot of passes or pass yards last week, but he accounted for three touchdowns.
You know he had those two passes and he run one grand.
He's definitely benefiting from Henry.
There's no denying that, but I think he's better than people might give him credit for.
And I would be fine with the No.
23 year, 25 $30 million contract after this cause I think he realizes that he is better because of Henry, so this is This is his shot.
I think he's got more talent around him right now, you know? I mean, he's got Adam Humphreys.
He's got John Smith, Corey Davis, A. J. Brown.
Those are just guys to throw to.
Speaking of Jonah Smith, give me a little bit of information.
This guy I don't know anything about.
And then I'm watching some of these games, and all of a sudden his name is topping up left and right, man.
Well, yeah, Johnny Smith is interesting.
Johnny Smith is from F I U uh, John Robinson loves his middle of the round picks and little known fact that he was one of the people that sit on the table to draft Gronkowski and that draft whenever he was a scout in the Patriots organization.
So he has a good feel for the game.
He loves small school, you know, just athletes.
He absolutely loves him, you know, are right.
Guard is from North Carolina and he's starting right guard, doing great.
Johnny Smith is from F i u.
He was You know, if you remember this, but what he was most well known for prior to getting into the n F O R prior to the season, frankly, was his.
Why are his? I believe that the time dumped a part of boiling water on him.
Glory was obviously a few years ago, but he turned around, and I believe if he didn't play that week, he played the next week.
And he's just the top dude.
His NFL comparisons, whatever he came, was the Lady Walker, who has hurt this year, unfortunately, but he's always been the Delaney Walker heir to the throne for us, and he's just he's wicket.
I believe so, too.
Um, all right, So the biggest story, in my opinion of this of this, um, often is the line, you know? I mean, it's breakable, I think has a very similar aspect when it comes toe offense and defense.
As Frank, right with the Colts, it's offensive line defensive line.
It starts there.
Um, most people probably know who Taylor will want if the man's got a podcast.
Hecky has my offensive guard guard on his show more often than I personally would like, But how about we? Let's talk about who is some other offensive lineman on the Tennessee Titans that you know, absolutely excel at their job.
Oh, come on, now, there's gonna be a little bit of bias, so I'm gonna try and stick strictly the facts.
So we left to right.
Obviously a little one drafted out of Michigan.
He's been here through.
We're not so great times.
We just made him be, or we Recently, whenever we have paid him, he was the highest paid left tackle.
He dropped off a little bit and he dropped there.
He was suspended the 1st 4 seasons because of a substance that reportedly he had been using the entire time just recently added to the list.
You know, that whole story is a long time.
He got suspended for four weeks.
Um, so that took him a little while to kind of be jell.
Are left guard is rock that Rodger Saffold, one of our big free agents.
These things, this entire off season and this season, hey was a big part of the L.
A Rams, and he wanted to stay and help, but he wanted to retire there.
But when the time came, they didn't really give him a second look again.
John Robinson is scouting.
They were more than happy to pay him as one of be best left guards.
Ben Jones, our center.
He was a former centre for the Texans.
This is on his ****ing contract that he's out with us now.
Here's by all accounts of purposes.
He's won the Walter Payton man of the Year this year, I believe for us.
And he starts a weird tradition for Oliver.
Whoever wants to participate for offensive luck and we'll actually walked the entire field barefoot, no matter how cold it is, if it's snowing, if it's freezing, Dolan ever to walk the entire field barefoot before he goes and gets ready.
He's just one of those good old boys.
Uh, right guard make Davis from North Carolina.
Rookie picked him up this year.
He was really well known for having that.
Fraud like stance prior to the draft where his butt was.
His blood towel would touch the ground, so they had to really work on that Foreign men.
Right tackle is drunk.
It came up in the first round.
You know, four years ago, we did we just this year decided not to pick up his fifth year option.
So that's gonna be an interesting resigning as well that no one but they had time.
You know, Sack would sign from the Rams.
You had time to kind of get used to us.
Take along, got back, knock the rust off and everyone and May Davis learned, everyone's just kind of yelling right now.
They're me there, 100 people in the mouth.
Okay, I wanna welcome Wild Child in the Stream.
Envy? Lawson asks.
Do you believe this is a one year deal, Cinderella story from the Titans? Or do you think this is a trend that could go on for years to come? I definitely I don't think there's any Titans fans who are under any misconceived notions that we're the next dynasty, just from this year, just from this playoff.
Steven, I mean, good past 10 weeks.
There's nobody under that kind of misconception, but I do think that if we find a way, we caught lightning in a bottle.
Look, we can keep it there if they can make good decisions, which we have all the faith in the world in our front office for our big free agency signings of Henry Tannehill and Conklin, and that's just on offense.
If they could make some good decisions there and then we can stay true to who we are, we're gonna be bringing back our offensive coordinator.
And you know, we'll have Malcolm Butler back next year.
It's there is a path to it being a really bring instance.
But the NFL, they were seeing this the past few weeks.
You can have a plan, but, you know, Step two of the plan is that the plan out and, you know, get ready for the next step because it's going to go against you so it could happen a small chance.
I love to see it because, or smash not about football, but we're under no disillusions that it's gonna be the next Patriots.
Well, as Summer's explains the salary cap in free agency, it makes it really, really difficult toe have a dynasty like like the Patriots had.
So, um, let's get to know a little bit about this defense, all right? In my opinion, they are the most underrated defense and have been for years, okay, And like like I said earlier, it all starts up front.
If you don't know who General Casey is, you've been living under a rock somewhere.
Uh, man is huge.
He pushes people around, he gets pressure up the middle.
But let's let's talk about the rest of the defensive line, man.
Um, give us a little information about that defensive line of yours out there.
Yeah, I mean, well, kind of quickly touch on drill, Casey.
Just for the two people who don't know who he is.
The hero. Casey.
Undersized, Just workhorse.
He's one of those people where he's not gonna blow you away with size but its speed and in he's just lower to the ground and got really good swim moves.
He's got really good, will rush move.
And he kind of takes people by surprise.
We've Finally, he used to be one of only a few people on her defensive line.
We finally I got him a partner this or this year in the draft, we got Jeffrey Sevens, which was he was projected to be a first look in the top three overall picks friar to him getting his legal troubles, and then, hey, card, he got a leg injury and then he just kind of quietly drafted him.
I believe with the 19th overall pick.
Uh, he was injured for a while and he just came in no halfway through the season, and he's been just just a wrecking ball.
Honestly, he's a gigantic beast of the human being.
If you saw that Ravens game and he watched the strip sack that drill Casey made on lower Jackson, the hulk of a human being at the pile that took little, took the ball away from the Ravens player and put it in his own chest.
Yeah, he's He's learning from General Casey, So it's gonna be a really good tandem going forward.
He recently got re signed.
He doesn't wantto go anywhere else.
He's expected or expressed interest numerous times and just retired.
So that's really fun.
We'll go to outside linebackers.
We have Harold Andri, who was obviously known for the dip and spin move coming out of Boston College a couple years ago.
He's he's just, of course, he doesn't have like I popping numbers, but he's steady numbers and he always moves the popular little because he's faster than people might give him credit for.
And he has a bend that he had to have been like.
The limbo champion is being in elementary school.
It's ridiculous, but he's got a really good uh, then we have for Shaun Evans.
Use all state linebacker in Alabama, just absolutely wrecking ball.
Super fat black. Time to play the chief's.
He's the one that picked up the fumble.
Ran it back 50 plus yards from the running back.
He helps in that goal line.
Stand in the red zone against the Chargers and the autopsy or in the actual season and then, obviously the well known ones against Patriots.
Whenever they ran it three times to the left, he was the one that the first and the third time jumped over the pulling guard and just took down the road.
He did it almost back to back, so I mean, they're they're they're absolutely nothing.
They have J on Brown.
I talk to you about him before he's he's fast.
He got a little bit gained up in the the Ravens game, but he's coming back.
Wesley Woodyard de tes loves Wesley Woodyard. Think seeds.
The best linebacker that it's seen.
He's basically a special teams captain, But you second certain third string linebacker and eating just commands everything and I can keep going.
You got a hold on.
I won't Actually, I understand that.
I want to go back to Jane Brown.
I've watched him this year, and if this kid can stay healthy, he reminds me a lot of some other really fast good linebackers out there.
I'm not going to start naming names because I don't like to make comparisons, but I think he could be someone special in the future.
Oh, he definitely could.
He's is, had the mentality.
He was one of the first that we drafted, you know, in the in the later parts of the draft that we told him like, Hey, you know, you work your butt off, you have a shot at making this team and being a starter even though you were drafted later on and there's people like Wesley Woodyard ahead of you and he came in and he totally bought into it.
We believe that he's a young guy used typically the one that we put on tight ends.
He's just he's faster than most linebackers are, and we really needed him for that Ravens game.
But you got teamed up early and we're still able to contain.
So he he's got a very bright sure, absolutely all right.
MD. Lawson had another question.
It's going back to the offense.
Um, well, we'll get back to the defense in just a moment, um, and talk about your defensive backs.
However, Indy, Lawson asked, Let me scroll back up here to get his words exact.
How long do you think Henry is going to stay this dominant? Because he's got a lot of mileage from being, You know, I believe it was Obama, right? And now the pros.
So how long do you think? I mean, with a running back when you got a lot of mileage.
Sometimes you start to fall off earlier than, say, someone who likes to split carries, Definitely.
But I think with Derrick Henry he is.
He's always been told that he he's too big to be running back their stories out there.
You know, college is wanting to switch him over to be a defensive end or tight end or something like that, he was actually, he wanted to go to Florida.
I'm going to be a Gator because he grew up watching Tim Tebow, and he just absolutely loved it.
But they wanted to switch him and he couldn't just like No, I want to be right back.
He legitimately trains for durability, not just big and speed, but for dirt Bloody at he is the one that kind of dictates, like, Hey, I want the ball to get the ball more or like Hey, I just need to get a restaurant quick.
You know, he's built that relationship up with Grable and Smith so well that they could believe him whenever he says this now, I don't think he will.
I don't think any human being could handle that for 10 15 years.
There's there's it's an amazing marble humanity and science if you can do it for 10 15 plus years.
But I don't think it's a horrible decision to give him another contract, even if it's, you know, bigger contract and Zeke honestly on for about that distance and then just like, Hey, let's see what we can do it are we can take it and give our chin give ourselves a chance to get out of that with minimal damage if it ends up going Super Super Cell.
But John Robinson smart enoughto We have a saying in the Titans organization and J.
Rob, we trust That's what everyone called look and J roc trust.
Yeah, it's okay.
I feel confident.
Okay, so we're gonna flip over, back, over.
Um, you got to defensive backs, in my opinion, that our flat, all pros, uh, or have been playing.
Obviously, Logan Ryan's been playing great and fired.
Has been outstanding in the playoffs.
He's at the right place at the right time.
Summers has to put in.
Ah, you gotta throw in the Patriots there because he likes to say, you know, the Titans are They do have a lot of ex Patriots and and I agree, and they do.
And that's just how it is.
Everyone goes after Patriots players because flat out, that's what they do.
They go out, they get great guys.
They teach him how to work hard, play their play, their positions Well, do their job, and then they don't pay him the top money.
Let him leave and then they you know, they had that turnover on their roster.
But somehow they're able to keep getting these people.
Malcolm, A lot of things where people say, you know the new word Nashville's just New England South and we heard that way laugh along with it and everything.
Because not only is it Logan, Ryan and Malcolm Butler, but also obviously breakable, and DNP uses a former coordinator over there.
John Robinson was a scout over there.
It's just our entire identity as it immunization, and I don't think anybody's ever been embarrassed or ashamed of it.
Yeah, they they dominated entire legal.
Wouldn't we go after these people? And if we make the right hires and make the right to sit with these people, we could get the cream of the crop and try to mitigate his assets from going forward.
And now look where we are, like they now we have.
I'm not saying that we're here as their corner Patriot's, but I'm saying that a big thing with these Cinderella teams like, well, they have been here before.
They don't know what this is about.
If Cincinnati went to the pig or the Super Bowl or the even championship next year.
People be like, Well, they don't know what the hell they're doing and they'd be fair.
But like throughout our organization, we have people who in key spots, have been there before and can keep us focused.
And so it's absolutely amazing.
He's got more interceptions than anybody in the last three years since he came in, and he's just is he practices tip drills, and he practices those plays of opportunity to where Yeah, you people might do.
This stuff is lucky, but he practices being in the right spot at the right time.
And so we'll take that.
And not only is it him back there became a Carl out of Texas, you know he was.
He's just a missile in.
He plays lights out.
These are strong safety.
He plays the lights out every single play, and he got an interception.
Jackson that you just read it right? You didn't get a tip drill.
He didn't do anything.
He just read it right and he's also the guy that came up the middle and just what are we running back like he's There's this whole team is seems very, very unselfish, the mantra that John Robinson has always preached, his tough, dependable on team first.
And then that's that was since his first press conference.
And it's just tough, dependable team first, that's all he wants.
That's all we have.
And now that's all we need.
So one thing that I absolutely love about how Dean Pees and Grable does with their defense is almost 1/3 of the defense of place that you see, especially when you see 1/3 and long is you'll see 89 players at the line of scrimmage standing up right.
You don't know who's coming.
They mask it so well.
And half the time, if you watch the play go through on Lee, three people are rushing, you know, and the rest of you back off.
Is that Ah, is that style that what What they do? Is that something that you think that will happen a lot this weekend? Oh, definitely on.
The reason for that is not because we're trying to disguise and trick.
We think we can outsmart Patrick Mahomes on a consistent basis by any means and Andy Reid nonetheless, not so much time to follow, and he really is a freaking genius.
Our thing with all of our players is tough, dependable team person is it doesn't matter if you're the 49th guy on the roster of the 53rd or Health of 73rd on the practice squad, like you could be called up at any given time to help at any given thing.
So they want people who are versatile.
There's people who play on special teams like our What's his name? Blasting game.
He's our third string running back.
We picked him up and it's just because he was better at fullback.
He can see the hole is better and he contributes on special teams like everybody is willing to just step up and kind of go at it.
So I think we'll see that.
But it's not so much as trying to necessarily trick him into making a bad decision.
But these people that they may not be familiar with Cally Frame and he was on the practice squad.
Think back and forth like three times and he's the guy that got that 45 yard bomb a little short dude run for three.
He's stupid fast like everyone's and contribute.
And I think that Dean Pees may not have necessarily had that entire philosophy completely bought in and a previous stop he was in.
And now he can just do anything he wants because everybody is so malleable on everybody can contribute in any way that they possibly can.
Okay, so I'm not going to make, um I'm not going to say it.
These two players are exactly the same because they are not, but they are very similar mold.
A lot of people think there's no way you can contain my homes, But the thing is, is you play twice a year.
That is in a very similar mode, extremely mobile, able to make splash place, get out of pressure.
And you know, Watson.
So I think that the Titans and Rabel in peace, I think that they understand contain, that is the number one priority, you know, and something that I absolutely love about your defense.
And I've been stating this the entire playoffs, which is the reason why I said they were gonna beat the Patriots.
And it was another reason why I said that they will now I'll be fair.
I said that they that the Ravens was gonna beat the Titans.
I said, That's all completely fair.
Like, Yeah, I don't think any fan is under this illusion that we like way have it, but we have to have a heart.
But I did say I did say that.
I believe that the Titans would be leading that game going into the fourth quarter that they would contain and frustrate Lamar.
It's just I didn't expect Lamar Jackson, too.
Um takes so long and make all these turnovers and everything you know at your defense did an excellent job.
I said that, you know, they do a great job at staying in their lanes, uh, keeping to their man assignments, not over pursuing.
They do a great great job at just doing their job individually, you know, trusting the guy next to him That's so important.
Um, but Week 10 you guys play the Chiefs.
It's kind of funny because three out of the four a f C South teams played the chief this year are all all of them played three out of four beatem and they beat him in the exact same way, right? Ran the ball down their throats and, uh, kept Mahomes from off the field.
But the problem is the homes had a had a game against the Titans.
And if you look at the stats, you would think he done won this game by 30 points, you know? I mean, Mahomes had 400 some yards pat for 46 3 touchdowns between, um between Tyree killing Travis Kelsey.
They had 18 catches for 225 yards and two touchdowns.
I mean, it was just outset.
You can't really necessarily stop.
Ah, dynamic offense such as the Kansas City Chiefs.
However, do you think, being that Derrick Henry had such a great game, that game had a game equal to the adversities had so far this postseason of 180 plus yards? Um, do you think the same that they're gonna go in this with the same game plan is just run Henry and let Tannehill just kind of dink and dunk where he needs to? I think they kind of credit Kate their defense.
Not so much on the scoreboard, but what what? The defense, what they what they see, if that makes any sense, they're not gonna try.
And, you know, if they get down by 23 scores, Yeah, that might pass in a little bit more, but they're not gonna press it.
I don't see them getting away from the core team that we are like, Well, it's fine.
We'll just keep going.
If they kicked out by much more than that, then, yeah, they're gonna have to take notice of it.
But, you know, within a 22 and 1/2 score game, I don't think they really based what they're gonna do up with Scoreboard really legitimate.
I think it's just what the deep and shows them.
And there's a few things, you know.
They were missing a few people.
We were missing a few people after the homes, and he wasn't 100%.
I don't think he had one single rushing yard that entire game, all of those yards passing.
And you know, now we have to contend with, Okay, now he's comfortable with that leg.
Now we've got to go.
The difference between Lamar Jackson and Patrick Holmes, In my opinion, there's a Mark Jackson's a running quarterback, and Patrick Mahoney's the quarterback who can run, and that's a big difference.
And so I think we're gonna have a little bit more of an air show on this that, you know, he could still break off those 10 yard runs.
I don't think it's gonna be at risk of being this 80.
Artur, like Jackson, would have been.
But all of his yards were most of the yard between the twenties, at least with Jackson.
And that's kind of what we are.
Defense is settled into between the twenties.
You guys gonna have just about anything you want any given play, We might get a turnover.
We might actually get you to stop, and we're gonna hold you to field goals.
You know, everyone talked about Patrick home scoring five touchdowns in the last game, but, oh, just one game and compared it to Tannehill.
He's only got three and two games.
Okay, we'll look at our defense.
Our defense is only allowed two touchdowns and two games, and against Tom Brady and against Lamar Jackson, they've allowed a bunch of field goals.
But that's the way I think we're gonna get into is, you know, minimize the huge place because they're gonna happen like they're just the freaks of nature.
All of them Are there gonna happen? Try to minimize that, capitalize on any opportunity we can because he is such a dynamic thrower. He throws off balance.
He does all these things.
We also have chances of getting interceptions the way it is, especially with our Defense day and disciplined.
You know, we have a legitimate shot.
Oh, yeah, well, pardon me.
A lot of what a lot of people is not realizing is the Kansas City Chiefs defense is not the New England Patriots defense.
It's not the Baltimore Ravens defense.
Het Tannehill can throw the football.
They have shown it in past games.
Brown is a weapon, right? And he doesn't.
He's not even necessarily a weapon down the field.
He's a weapon that can take a short, like, 10 yard dump off.
And because of his vision and size, I like to call him the Derrick Henry of wide receivers, um, and and and take it the distance, or at least get huge chunk yards.
Cory Davis has been around a while.
He's ableto to get downfield, stretched to feel a little bit antenna hills, not a quarterback that likes to take chances.
So, um, I think this is a a team that will use Derrick Henry and that play action could be a lot more effective against the chief than it has been in the last two games in the playoffs.
They they had previously they have one of the worst run defense is in the regular season.
And then people will point out the stats and just kind of stat mind.
Well, the last happens season.
They had one of the better Russian defense.
Nobody is running on them like they they had to throw the ball to keep up.
And there's a kind of a big difference on, and there's a bunch of stats out there about the Titans as well.
Just like, Well, you know you could do it that way.
But there's also something you need to keep into.
But, uh, e really, you know, I think a lot of focus will be on a J.
Brown, obviously, Derrick Henry.
So there's a chance that Cory David Adam Humphreys, who were finally getting back he's been after 67 weeks with an ankle injury and then John Smith If they read the sock zones.
Well, I mean, there's any chance one of those three you could just go off on this game.
And obviously, that would contribute to Tannehill's numbers.
So, um, is there anything that I haven't really covered that you'd liketo just talk about? Give a little bit of information for everyone that's watching this string right now, man.
I think trying to think of a overall good way to say this I think we're we expand and we, as a team are saying, If we get this, we get this championship, we get this Super Bowl because everything fell just right.
That's okay, because everything falling just right is the way a lot of people get their Super Bowls.
And that's completely okay coming in, making a big upset if we do this.
So I'm under the obviously confident loosen that we're going to win this game.
If we do this, we will have beaten the 1st 2nd 3rd and fourth see the teams because we had to beat the Texas to get in.
We'll have also beat the F c South number one, our first being Thesixty West champion.
So far, we have taken.
This would be an absolutely historic thing for us.
And, you know, we would be a good year.
Yes, it would be NFL draft making this huge statement for us, making this run into the playoffs on the coaches and his, you know, first few years, Derrick Henry re signing them, and we still have the draft.
And we could still, you know, still fill our holes.
We've no apples like everywhere, but there's every team has a little.
So we we could have turned the corner recently.
And, honestly, I I wanted the Texans in this game.
Not because I thought they would be easier, but because people talk about the Texans Colts as the best team in the A f C South.
And so we could beat the Texans one last time for the Super Bowl.
I would've been beautiful, but we haven't chiefs, and we've already beat them.
Derek Henry's three? No, against the Chiefs.
So, you know, I'm feeling pretty good.
That's one way of looking at it, man.
Um, well, let's see here.
What kind of cool, huh? Yeah, well, it's basically everyone's mind.
Uh, what's your what's your score? Prediction.
What? Your what? Your outcome to this game.
What do you think? How do you think this game's gonna rule? I think it's gonna be I'm comfortable with, Like a 28 24 prediction.
To be honest with you, I'm comfortable. 28 24.
I think we make them kick or more field golden, uh, touchdown they'd like.
And because of that, we drain the clock and we get it at the end.
It came down to a field goal on week 10 and Joshua Kalu again just order fourth or fifth string. Defense is back.
He's the one that runs in and block that kick like everybody is prepared to contribute.
So I think it's gonna be books.
Yeah, 28 24 is where I'll say, What about you? Do you have, man? Honestly, it really depends how uncomfortable you could make Mahomes, right.
Uh, because it really it depends upon that.
I have absolutely no doubt that the run game from the Titans were gonna be there.
I have no doubt that Henry is gonna have another 150 plus yard game, especially against this Kansas City Chiefs run defense.
That is just awful.
Has been all season.
Um, but really, it's about I think it's gonna be come down the turnovers, right and whether or not you get more homes to be ableto get uncomfortable and throw like last ditch passes tryingto trying to move the sticks and get those those opportunities that, you know, buyer did them really, really enjoy and thrive off of? Um, I think it might actually be a little bit higher scoring game than what you got.
I'm thinking both these teams will probably score in the thirties, being that Kansas City's defense is not very good.
And we are talking about probably the most prolific offense in football right now in the Kansas City Chiefs.
Even though I I do believe you know Tennessee's defense is very good.
It's just there's too many stinking weapons from homes to throw too, right? Um, no, honestly, I think you could dropped almost any prediction on this, And it be like, Yeah, that's a pretty plausible way for this to turn out like you could make this this game Horse race.
First person to 31st team to 30.
We'll probably win this game.
You could be like, Well, it's good to you, just a local game, Which interesting fact.
We haven't kicked a field goal since, like weak 14 or 15.
We've made every single point after touchdown, but our red zone percentage is in the nineties because we just always do touchdown.
We haven't kicking field goals alone.
That that is impressive and while also is impressive, that special teams man, that punter likes to put the ball and it rules right down to the one yard.
I've seen that a couple times, man, where he just drops it right there.
It makes it so difficult.
Him and Derek and really only two, voted to second team All Pro, I think, and that was the highest we got.
It's just like, Well, okay, yeah, there's a lot of people out there kicking themselves going.
How is how is Derrick Henry? Second team, right? I mean, he led the NFL in rushing yards.
It's just because we're all marketing people don't really take notice of us unless we do something huge.
You know he's probably the higher end of average, but you probably won't keep that up or else people will be paying attention to him, and you don't think keeping it up.
And now people are paying attention to what they were voting right now.
But that's okay.
Nobody really looked at us for years, and honestly, we didn't deserve it.
For years, our fans knew what we had and what we could be as an organization, but we didn't really deserve it for years.
And we're finally getting to the point where sick okay, way took down the the dynasty.
We took down the most electric offense in the NFL and the MVP, and now we have last year's N v p in last year's most electric offense to go through.
And if we want to win the Super Bowl and any kind of legitimate way, this is the best way for us to do it. Just dynasty.
Kill that you take down the offense, take them the last two years, N v p's and all on the road, and come out of nowhere from the wild card.
Take it. I can't.
I can't. I couldn't even write a better script.
