We should be live.
We should be loading this, waiting for it to pop up on my in that We're officially live, and there we go.
What is going on, SportsCastr? What's going on? SportsCastr? What was going on? SportsCastr family sal***er here.
Gonna take a closing thoughts on this early Friday morning.
Good morning to everybody over on the East Coast, 7 36 Central time, wherever you might be.
If you're on the West Coast in Europe for 44.
36 on I mean, good night.
Potentially, right? How are you having a good night out there? You're gonna really, really gonna be productive.
But we have a nice little recap to take a look at here from the Packers who end up advancing that that overrated, overhyped.
And don't get me wrong.
The Packers and the Seahawks were probably the word was throwing out their fraudulent.
Um, I understand, based on their schedules based on the way that they won some of the games and based on how the NFC bracket kind of took place, most of that mids here compared to past years just wasn't there due to some injuries.
Of course, I do that.
A lot of rookie quarterbacks, backup quarterbacks is rotating in for teams.
I mean, you look at the entire division of the NFC East, which is not usually how bad that division is sort of a cakewalk.
You look at the secondary teams like the Lions and the Bears in that division, the Panthers in that division.
So I understand why the term fraudulent has been thrown around.
But But don't get me wrong when a team is a a four and 1/2 point home favorite like the Packers, and they have a pass rush coming in against a team that has no pass rush and no offensive line.
The Packers also have a healthy, offensive line scratch blogger who ended up being a late scratch. For this one.
There is always a very good chance that one of these teams is going to show that they're not fraudulent.
And I think I think the Packers very much did that in the first half, and I don't think that some things I saw was very Mike McCarthy s that they let up in the second half.
No, I think I think they see out of the ground defense.
Scott, their their passions definitely got there.
They dial that more blitzes.
They made good adjustments.
But at the end of the day, the Packers had such a big lead that they could play 13 personnel, three tight and sets.
They could play a lot of 12 personnel to tenants.
That's something that they weren't playing the regular season and had some success with.
I mean, that's the play that'd Monty and scored the second half touchdown.
And he was just Everybody was toasting Trey flowers.
I was saying I was that.
I'll tell you a story where I was for the scheme.
But he toasted Trey flowers not only to get open on that one, but then a little.
He just puts one move on the guy and just burns right by trade Flowers is somebody that Seattle Seahawks have to get off of their roster for, probably costing them this game multiple times multiple touchdowns, both touchdowns to Adam's in this one.
So I'll tell you where I was for this one.
I ended up flying and I got tickets.
My girlfriend got me for Sunday to Tuesday to visit my cousin, and this was for Christmas.
So, man, did it work out perfectly that the Packers won? Got the bye week.
This was Christmas.
So they had yet to secure the by one.
Got the bye week and two ended up playing on Sunday instead of Saturday getting the night game. Got to go there.
My parents ended up surprising me right before the game started off, and it was just fantastic.
Nothing could make it any better than a Packers win.
Made it. And you terrible than a Packers lost.
But then not putting the game.
So is also to be there, having really cheered on in a game like that with all my family and man.
Two or three years.
So it was a ton of fun for me.
Just insane memories.
So just sharing where I was for that let me know where you were.
Let me no comment on that blower live streaming right now if you are ****stan, or even to see your family know where you were tuning in from, but yeah, I mean, this was a game where Rogers was great.
Look, Roger Stone, 27 times.
You get it by three scores early.
You don't need to hear 16 to 27 to 43 2 touchdowns.
No picks, sack toys once by both of the Griffin brothers.
And then you have a rating of 1 13.
73 and they're playing better than Wilson in this one.
Wilson edges amount slightly in yards.
Rogers ended up going on average nine yards for a temp, so he was very good in this one.
And that's what he's gonna need to do this upcoming week, which will take a look at tomorrow.
The Packers preview against the San Francisco 40 Niners.
But what's going on, Tommy Tar Heel? How you doing? But in this one, just to break it down, you got out to an early start, and I had a lot of confidence going into this one.
We discussed it on the preview last week, and now we're doing the recap.
But the Packers had the advantage in almost all aspects of the pass rusher advantage, and you saw that five sacks of Wilson and the one thing that I mentioned was the pass rush have ended for the Packers is going to get there.
They're going to get their 30th ranked offensive line for the Seattle Seahawks without Mike Iupati with an injured doing.
Brown, who was playing but he is very limited, seemed against a top five pass rush with the number one pass rusher in the league pressure rate player into Jerry Smith, a Top 15.
Number 13 I believe, impressing Smith in number 23 Kenny Clarke, all them getting to the quarterback, the Smith Brothers twice each.
Kenny Clarke once.
There have been 10 sacks in this game.
If you don't have Russell Wilson back there and you had some sort of statue like Kenny G.
This week's not totally a statue, but pretty close to it.
Tom Brady type of statue.
So this fascist getting there there often to find the Packers.
They gave up two sacks.
A lot of it was late when there was a lot of bliss is coming in, dialed in from Seattle, and to their credit, they dialed up in and ended up having a lot of interesting play calls in terms of how they were getting to the sarin Rogers.
A lot of stuff was adjusted at halftime, but the Packers offense the line was fantastic without Brian Bulaga.
I thought it helped up really held up really well. Don't worry.
He ended up practicing this week.
We'll talk about how he is going to be good to go in the preview tomorrow.
But those advantages ended up seeing true.
But the downside to getting a lot of pressure on Russell Wilson is that he can just run on you.
Seven rushing at them 64 yards along with 20 to 9.
1 average per attempt there and then almost ruined the Packers, especially in the second half, where they continue to get a ton of pressure.
And it all boiled down to the end of the game.
Where President Smith gets the huge fourth quarter sack ends up punting away to the Packers Seahawks Doom, which I think they should have on fourth and 11 in the Packers territory.
You don't you don't go for it there with three timeouts in over two and 1/2 minutes with the two minute morning left.
Now these I don't think you d'oh and the Packers close the door, don't get the ball back.
So first half was fantastic package getting pressure very similar to the second half The only difference was they were getting open players in the second half compared to the first half.
I mean, you had Gyro Alexander shutting down Mccaf on a couple of plays.
Kevin King continues to play very physical, continues to plague, continues to look very well, and then in the slot to Mama Leone's continues look great.
Now you had a huge game for Tyler locket, and a lot of that came in zone.
Defense is some of the came against my ear.
Tyler Lockett nine for 1 36 and study on sends Our gets a touchdown in the end zone in sort of a scramble.
But the matchup against her mom, Williams.
It was just the best player that he's faced all year in the slide of my opinion and remind looked a little bit like a step slower, as you would expect.
Tyler Lockett, one of the more premier wide receivers in the league, the running game here, really, the package on defense, it's hard to judge them.
I think that they, the Lancaster, end up getting hurt in this one.
I'll track his status in and see anything major the Dean Mallory Kenny Clarke continue to be forces.
But it's so hard to judge when it's Travis Homer only allowing to get three carries because they get down so early for 13 yards when it's Marshawn Lynch, who had two touchdowns to one yard touchdowns.
But he had 12 carries, 26 yards.
I mean, I don't know how Marchand people telling me he was the best thing on the street.
I mean, you have cameras, artist pain on the streets Right now.
You have some other guys as well, so it's not really a spot that I thought that was true.
So their running game.
It's hard to judge, since it was that bad down to your fourth and fifth string options, signing guys off the streets.
Travis Homer only played before two weeks ago in the preseason for this team, never got a depth snap.
A chart snap because of the shop.
Any Chris Carson City Post, it's all going down, so that's on the Seattle side of the ball.
I found that Wilson played fantastic as good as you possibly can.
I was starting to have PTSD in the third quarter and then in the fourth quarter when we are up 28 23 I say we I hate doing that when the Packers are up 28 2 23 And they pumped it away with five minutes left to Russell Wilson, who ends up getting close to midfield and the underrated play this game and that. Nothing new at the back of defense.
It had nothing to do with the success of the Saddle.
Offense was very weird, but it was Molly Turner. Bleak Turner.
The fifth string, This guy who's fifth on the depth chart behind your type of rockets behind your D K.
Metcalf's even behind your David Moors and John Brown's We're both healthy this week.
Lily Turner came come back from injury after not playing last week against the Eagles, and he flat out drops about a 15 year past that would have put them in the Packers territory.
With four and 1/2 minutes ago and driving.
He ends up dropping.
It makes its second, and Tim and the Packers get the third down stack from Preston Williams Day in the punting.
So very underrated, playing that game military and just watching a play.
But my heart was dropping when Russell Wilson was going on the field.
Ah, flashbacks of 2014 championship game of just blowing another lead.
They get the ball back and closes the door on.
That actually gets to touch the ball last in this one, for once.
So I thought Adams was fantastic.
Matt LaFleur's playcalling.
They came out after the game and said he installed a ton of new place.
You saw that with the 13 personnel that they were very heavily using, and then you saw with the slug go under the fake, crossing him with slug o you had I don't know who was being cool room.
I might even Alison. But you had on the left side of the field.
Both of them faked across like this.
And then they faked across and they both separate out that way.
It confused the cornerbacks.
It allowed for the first touchdown of the game to a wide open about the Adams on Adam's, which is crushing it all throughout the day ended for the Packers receiving record of 160 yards in the scheme, 11 targets, eight catches, 100 60 yards, much more difficult matchup that will break down tomorrow in San Fran. Upcoming.
But that's all you saw.
You saw the two players of the Packers leaned on all season long Outside of Rogers, of course, you're seeing Aaron Jones seeing the ball 22 times, only one reception for four yards onto targets.
But then you ended up seeing Davante Adams 11 targets.
Nothing else was utilized here.
You had 16 completions for Aaron Rodgers, half them to devise Adams.
Jimmy Graham, who only ran 16 route because they ran a ton of four tight end.
They had four tenants playing this game.
Not all at once, but three and two were on the field a lot. Got Robert.
Tony, Um, actually had J.
Sternberg or catch a ball for two guards in tow and a target on seven rounds.
Mercedes Lewis was on the field a lot, but what's going on? Lo's Jeon toes, 69 69.
Be sure if you're watching right now.
Carving a great start to your day, but hit that green filed about broadcaster, but it takes a couple seconds.
So, Tommy tar heel matter if you're still in here.
But lo siento, is it really does help me out.
So please do hit that.
Appreciate you all so much.
So Adams was fantastic, and it's really scared because this team sets up a lot like the scenes in the Vikings were able to do it great because of their personnel in their secondary family, their safeties and slot cornerback.
But just take away to Mount Adams.
And that's what the San Francisco 40 Niners, maybe 12.
They allowed him to catch seven balls for four yards, but everything was underneath.
They double teamed him.
And you're able to do that when you have a personal that you have with a manual.
Mostly now I'm gonna be starting.
Richard Sherman's in a locked down the left side of the field.
You had Animals aren't injured in this one, so it's really hard to judge the secondary options that one receiver here Lazard left early, ended up coming back.
All he ended up doing was having an end around for five yards.
He didn't catch any balls.
Geronimo Allison had one catch in the game, and it was huge.
It was huge, ended up keeping the drive going early in that fourth quarter for an 11 year old catch a diving catch, but nothing else really stood out.
Jamal Williams only had two touches on nine snaps, one carry for three yards, one catch for nine years.
I believe he'll be more active this week as they'll just need him.
Or and the asset a catch for eight yards went ran to the right.
Ended up looking good on that one.
I don't know how how active he'll be.
Jake come around 15 rounds because of almonds are being injured on.
Lee had one target.
No catches. So passing game did not look.
Jimmy Graham making the huge catch at the end of Jimmy Graham.
Also making another huge catch in the fourth quarter before that, um, over the shoulder catch very similar to the Vontae Adams in the same part of the field.
Really? So those guys stepped up.
You need your agreement step up again this week.
I like the 3rd 13 person. I'll believe it or not.
I like 12 personnel getting different.
I'm excited to see if they use a lot more to running back sets with Williams and Jones to top 10 graded pass catchers in this league this week.
Um, defense looked fine.
In my opinion, the passion was great.
Secondary broke down late, and you just need to make a play at the end of the day and President Smith was able to do it, and then Roger is able to do it.
Man, my heart has never been.
That was the most excited.
I've been for a Packers play since, and I put this on YouTube before the game started with all my family, there was like 12 of us there.
Um, I put on the Jared Cook catch.
That was the most excited I've been for a Packers single play since the Jared Cook Catch.
Arguably, You can tell me that Davante Adams at the end of the game against the Cowboys, the game before Rogers goes down with injury Two seasons ago, I was pretty hyped about that, but the stakes of this one going to the NFC championship game, where the exact same stakes as the one against with Jared Cook except that one that one was the pinnacle of Packers fandom.
Some things that stand out if you're a Packers fan Randall Cobb touchdown to get into the playoffs against the Bears, that huge one you could talk about all the all the Hail Marys.
Obviously the Super Bowl was great, but like a single play.
Randall Cobb's to get into the playoffs against the Bears in week 17.
30 seconds left, and they end up winning Jericho catch to get into the final round on.
Then this one is up there for me.
Just because it was three years since Packers in a situation like this, literally to the exact week three years since the NFC Championship, or the FC, the NFC divisional round against the Cowboys, where they end up going on the road in beating them.
And now you get in the schedule of the shoulder to Adams to cap off a brilliant night from him.
I'm concerned this upcoming week, you go back and you can watch my Packers preview and recap for the San Francisco team, and they're different teams surely now, but they're both fully healthy.
That's good for Malaga for the Packersoffensive line, but it's a spot that I'm a little bit concerned.
So coming away from this one will look at Lancaster's injury status defensive lineman who is really just a vocational piece.
They're not a starter.
Alan Lizard has been practicing in a limited fashion, and everybody else seems very healthy for the Packers.
Eso Thank you so much for turning into this one.
This was the Packers closing thoughts of the division around at home, where they came in four and 1/2 point favorite saying, The burning 28 23 by five game ends up going over the total.
And my PTSD that started in the third quarter was at an all time high when we pumped it back to him with five minutes left in the game shadow to have, finally, a defense.
And in past seasons, the defense loses that game, and it's once again the narrative of Aaron Rodgers doesn't get to touch the ball ass because they probably run the clock down, and they scored with 10 seconds left in the score.
A touchdown right, so very happy to be here.
It doesn't feel like this team is in the Final Four yet in the conference championship and the lovely, tall task ahead of them.
But man, oh man, I don't know if anybody's watching us from the SportsCastr community right now, Nick.
Whoever might be if the's Packers.
If it's a big if these Packers knock off on the road.
The San Francisco 40 Niners, the number one ranked team in the entire NFC bracket right now and you need some sort of reporter, you need a reporter down there.
Just a sports has her up in general.
I got the whole league on lock right now.
In terms of information, feel free to reach out.
I know a guy. I know a guy.
Um I know a guy who likes to do that sort of thing, so appreciate it.
I will do a preview tomorrow.
I hope you have it all.
A great start, your weekend and peace out gang.
