Nick's family was popping.
Is your boy well, another day and the Knicks land.
And tonight we're gonna talk about the Knicks and the Phoenix Suns.
Tomorrow they play tomorrow night at 7 30 at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks are gonna try to rebound for the terrible loss.
The Milwaukee Bucks.
We'll see if it's possible it should be able to rebound the Phoenix Suns that they're okay, but they're obviously not the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Knicks should be able to come in.
I'll come back home to the Garden, have a good night against the Phoenix Suns, try to rebound, try to get it back, trying to play with some consistency because you heard you hear Mike Miller talk about it all the time that the Knicks have to play with some sort of consistency.
You see bits and pieces here and there.
It's not always all the way there, But before we even get to that, we're gonna talk about this preview.
We're gonna get to it.

All right, so let's get into this man.
Let's talk about the Knicks and the Nets.
Let's talk about the Knicks and the sons and, uh, you know, see if we're gonna be able to I don't know, get back on the winning track.
You know, I'm I think that we can and I hope that we can before we get to that.
Before we get to that, though, I would like to talk about any woman a little bit or just hear from Kenny.
Wouldn't anyone join the team in practice? It doesn't mean that is going to be playing, but he joined the team in practice.
All right, so let's take a listen to Kenny woman from practice from the next practice.
Hey, and, um, see what he's got to say.
Let's see what he's talking about here.
It's Kenny woman, ladies and gentlemen from Nick's Practice.
And I know everybody is excited about Kenny woman because they can't wait to see what this guy could do.
Let's take a listen.
I was practicing with next, uh, just fine.
You know, it's, uh, just like picking up like, well, that training camp, you know, coming back with the guys.
Energies of everything.
Get that contract, you know, working for since, uh, summer league.
You know, it's a great being able to come in, you know, and have the staff leaving work on my game and be able to sign a great.
And it just it means the world to try to continue to come in and get better, See if I go from here.
Wait, What things? Um, I'm working on my game bashing, you know, like you clutch those dunks and Bosco viral.
No, I mean, it's been great.
I haven't really been paying too much attention to it, but it's it's been there a lot like, every time I go to my phone, I see a lot of notifications and stuff, so it's just been great, but I really, um oh, yeah, yeah.
You know, my my people back home and stocking Now they've been giving me a lot of love.
I've been seeing it.
Remember that? Excited for me and I just can't wait to put on for the city.
What level of competence is advice that you get, you know, grain and Julie is giving me a lot of confidence.
It's really humbled me.
But give me a lot of confidence in my game, you know? And I feel like intothe Oh, yeah, yeah.
I've got a lot of advice from, like, my best.
You know, they just told me, you know, keep working hard.
I deserve this opportunity.
And yes, ladies and gentlemen, that's Kenny Wu in.
And listen, we've all watched him and everything that he's done.
So you know so far in the in wet with Westchester Nix eyes over, talented.
He's an uber athletic guy, right? But I know I want to make sure that all of us, you know, I have things in perspective about him.
Number one, just because the next signed him to a two way contract and it's for two years, by the way, at least, that's what I read.
It's for two years doesn't mean that it doesn't necessarily mean that they're gonna call them up.
Hey, they made it.
May not call them up, but it doesn't mean that they're going to call him up right now.
I think it's gonna be a little while before they call can be woken up to play.
We'll you know we'll see.
And we're gonna hear from Mike Miller in just a minute.
Ah, and he's gonna talk about, you know, So far, his experience with Kenny won't win and whether or not he'll be called up and he'll be with the team, he'll be playing with the team.
I don't think he's gonna play with team right away.
I think you know he's still gonna play with the West. Chester Nix.
Ivan Rabble was weighed by the Knicks.
He's still going to be playing with the Westchester.
Nix is just a dim to that.
Those two guys reversed roles.
I been riding no longer has a two way contract.
Anyone does, and I've been Rabbit is eligible to be picked up by any other team and then be ET get a 10 day contract with anyone.
Now, if they do bring him up, I don't know where he gets in right now.
With everyone who was on the team.
Maybe he'd get some some minutes.
If the team is getting blown out or blowing somebody out, Maybe he gets a couple of minutes, then, uh, agitated.
I don't know where he fits in until some trades and made, and some spot really opens up for him to come in and play some some significant minutes, you know, mean, But his energy is athletic ability.
You know, the way he could jump out the roof is going to be exciting for the garden crowd.
Gonna be exciting for me.
Um, so you know, let's just be patient.
And when he does get here, let's be patient with him.
The experience, we know how we do.
And we know what we do to let's be patient with him.
You know, start complaining that he doesn't have a jump shot, But don't start complaining that he can't go off the job, will create his own shot.
Let him be who he is.
I beg of you and see what Mike Miller has to say about any woman.
Ladies, gentlemen, this is kind of a long interview right here.
This is Coach Mike Miller talking about Kenny.
What was going to talk about Marcus most a little bit.
Um, you know, talk about us rebounding from the our game with the with the Milwaukee Bucks and all that kind of stuff, and they will get into our preview check it out.
Was able to do some of the contact stuff.
I feel a little bit better on a chance to see how he feels tomorrow after going through this workout today.
Same thing Frank did some of the work out some of the live work out and, well, see how he feels.
It's been kind of a day to day with him how he feels, but he did work out today.
Question both questions.
Right now, he wants to practice today.
I don't I don't move.
So at this time, where where we're at right now? Okay.
I think he's been in the process that integrated pretty good.
What? What he's been doing with less gesture is putting him in that position.
Going from some early training camp playing in all of Derek Austin.
Staff did a great job.
Help him develop, put into these positions with I'm not for sure where we're at right now, but we were healthy along the front line.
Westchester's got another game coming up this weekend, so he needs that playing time, using him whenever a good shot.
Yeah, he's I think he has versatility with his physical skill package.
What he could do, you know he'll be.
He'll play one of those forward spots.
Big spotter, midpoint of the schedule.
Now how would you sum up the first half of the season and the progress you think you made from Day One? Well, I think I think everything is.
We've had way have been pleased with the progress that we're making moving forward.
You had guys have have really, really good segments on DDE had had good runs through this part.
Just, you know, it's the same thing.
We're working on the consistency of doing a.
I think you watch his team enough to know what those things out, but it looks like and how well we play.
So we just, you know, we want to get to that every possession.
No, that's that's what we're trying to do. Every game.
We go out, play better possession of possession and let's put 345 good ones together.
Well, I think it's it's part of the same thing, trying to get better every day and in doing that as we get better, we collectively get better and we're a better team and we win more games best learning having success.
I think I think it helps that way.
I think that you guys were excited about it.
They feel good about it.
But, you know, to put in the work that these guys put in all during the year, you liketo have those those results in that positive feedback coming back to him.
We've got a great crew.
Veterans that we can rely have playoff experience.
They have a lot of India experience.
They had someone help them when they were younger.
And, you know, that's kind of the success cycle.
You see his athleticism.
It's just again.
We saw it during the summer league we saw during the preseason.
We saw it in training camp.
So everybody's aware, you know, what is his physical tools are and how you used coming off last night.
What do you want? Your teams respond way want? Every day.
You know, we came out of the Miami game and we wanted to take a step forward.
Way wanted to be better doing these things.
We come out of Milwaukee game, we want to be better.
We want to take a step forward and keep improving.
You know, we've been very specific on things that we're working on.
We want to see those things.
Those habits continue to get better.
Not that we're not.
You know, it's not that we're not seeing it.
We're going to see it every possession.
It's important to see it right from the beginning, waiting especially absolutely.
You know, we've emphasized the first quarter how we start with our defense and we've seen it sets the tone for our team on.
You know, we're going to continue on that hat.
I think he's been really professional.
He's he's first ones in the gym every day working.
You watch his his body language and his excitement on the sidelines.
He's into the game.
She's into his team.
He's been highly professional.
I couldn't hear you.
Why hasn't she? I think a CZ.
We've gone through it, you know, and look at it.
We've had we've had our wing players have played pretty well.
You know, all of the guys have gotten some opportunities and as we said and that you've been, you've seen it, way get in games were not ever hesitant to put any of those guys in the games.
Wait go back to the Washington game at Washington down the stretch, you know, so hadn't played.
And we need him.
He jumps up and goes in because we know he could do it.
So we have that kind of confidence.
I think we've shown that that we'll use these guys even if they haven't played, could be a tough situation.
We'll put him in the fourth quarter at a key time, because way know what they do.
And we believe in all the guys.
Well, it's gonna, you know, it happens, go through games.
It will happen at times and so we've just got to make sure we're doing all the other things.
We can limit our focus to how we're shooting.
So that's you know, those guys kept playing and take it.
They continue to take good shots.
They continue to work on defending.
They continue to work on execution.
There's a lot of pieces that go into it that if if one of those pieces is not going, you've got to be shopping the other one for you, you *****.
I really just Other than reading the headline I don't know a lot about, I couldn't really speak on it.
I just saw the headline and didn't even read the articles.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, it you know, if you want to hear more interviews from Nick's players and coaches and everything, you go to the New York Knicks YouTube page and it's all right there.
You can also go to MSG Networks, and it's all right there for you, all right.
But some things that I've heard from that interview with coach Mike Miller, um, one, they kind of angst.
Um, is it about sign that you sit down to manual in the name of development? And when I heard is that everything that they do is about development, winning and developing, you know, And if you develop, you win.
Basically, it sounds like to me he's going to continue to do what he's doing all right, that's what it looks like.
That's what it sounds like. We'll see if there's a change.
Of course, any time soon doesn't seem like there's gonna be a change, of course, against the Phoenix Suns or coming up.
He was like, they're going to do exactly what they're doing, all right, about trader.
I do agree with them.
I think that a lot.
So she has been very professional.
Ah, and just accepted his role as you know where he is right now.
You see him on the bench cheering on his teammates.
China stay positive, was staying positive, and I don't want to say, trying to stay positive, Staying positive.
Ah, he's, you know, mentally seems to be into games, That's all.
You can ask it a young man and then be ready when it's when his time comes.
All right, So, you know, we'll see how things shake out in the future.
You know, in the near future, we'll see what happens at the deadline.
You know, we're about were, like, three weeks away from the deadline, so we'll see what happens there.
Things are really going to start heating up soon as we talk about trade deadline, and then we'll see what happens.
You know what? Some of these young guys like Kenny won't allow the trail.
And Gigi, you don't see it, you know? See how much playing time they can get.
As you know, we listen.
We're eight and 1/2 9 games out of the A seed.
I highly, highly, highly doubt I would say of 98 99% Sure, we're not going on some major run to put ourselves in a playoff race.
Now, some coaches or some, uh, coaching staff or management offices like to say when we're out of the playoff race, then you know we'll do whatever we're going to do.
So I'm not saying that's what the Knicks are saying.
I'm not saying it's right or wrong.
I'm just saying that's what some places like to d'oh! All right, we'll see where it goes from there.
But tomorrow night we have the Phoenix Suns in.
Hopefully, we're gonna come out, perform well, win or lose.
I hope that we come out and perform well.
So let's start to break this game down.
And, um, you just kind of see what we got going on here.
All right? Tomorrow night, 7 30 Ladies and gentlemen at Madison Square Garden on your local television.
You can listen to it on ESPN 98.5.
So if you're at work, you don't have the league pass any God I missed. You go.
Whatever me at work, Tony into ESPN, 98.
5 and you can listen to the game.
Intern Head coach for the Knicks is Mike Miller.
Coats for the Phoenix Suns is Monty Williams, the projected starters for the New York Knicks.
It's Elfrid Payton, R J. Barrett.
Reggie Bullock at small forward.
Julius Randle in tights.
Gipson The injury report for the next Marcus Morris is still out with a neck injury.
Okay, now, you did hear Mike Miller say that.
He's probably questionable.
He ran through some drills today, and, you know, he'll see how he feels afterwards.
Okay, Um, I don't know.
You know, I You know, we'll see. We'll see.
You know, I'd like to see Marcus Moore is back in the lineup, you know, playing with the guys.
But if not, then it is what it is, and we'll keep going the way we're going.
But for now, Marcus Morris, I'm just listing him as questionable.
Probably not in the lineup.
Frank Miller, Kina.
He's also questionable with a groin.
And Dennis me Junior continues to be out with an oblique injury for the Phoenix Suns.
It projected stars are Ellie.
Oh, Kobo Devin Booker, Macau Bridges are Dario.
Sorry and Aaron Baynes.
Kelly you braise out with a concussion and Frank Comiskey, he's out to atleast march 1st with the kneecap issue.
Whatever that issue is there.
Okay, so they're going to be down.
One of the primary players in Kelly Cooper, he dropped 28 29 points against his last time we played, so that's a big you know that that's a big That's a lot of points that might that will be missing out of their lineup tomorrow night.
We need to take advantage.
We need to take advantage of that now.
The last time we played, I believe that, uh, the Andre Etienne started, if I remember correctly.
But looking at you know, since then, he has not started.
The lineup could change.
He's a projected lineup, so we'll see what happens tomorrow when we get out there, because the lineups can always change.
I'll just take a look at some of the numbers behind the gang.
The team comparison, Um, the New York Knicks are 11 30 on the season, all right there on a one game losing streak.
If you want to call that a streak, the average 104.
8 points per game they give up 130 to 113.
2 points per game.
If they gave up 132 points per game, that really be bad, I tell you.
In the last five games, though, they're pretty close.
They tried to give up that much, but they gave up 113.
2 points per game.
4% from the field.
They shoot 34% from three average, 46.
1 rebounds per game.
They're averaging 21.
2 assists per game at 13.
9 turnovers per game.
The Knicks offensive rating is one of 4.
7 that's 27th in the league and their defense of ratings 1 13 That's also 27th in the league, right the season record again for the Phoenix Suns and 16 to 24 there on a one game losing streak as well, they average 113.
1 points per game.
They give up 114.
2 points per game, 46.
2% from the field, 34.
3% from three in the average 43.
5 rebounds per game.
they averaged 27.
6 assists per game and 14.
5 turnovers per game.
And listen, those 27.
6 assists, man, they're real.
They do move the basketball.
They have a nice system of movement and cutting.
Um, and the Knicks, just like we talked about last night.
They have a hard time defending teams that move and cut a lox.
Ah, hard time defending those teams.
That's I hate playing teams like that.
And that's the reason why those type of teams have so many assists.
High numbers of persist because they move in, They cut.
They pass the ball well, being sounds of one of these teams, so we're gonna have to deal with that.
Be ready to deal with that tomorrow.
I don't know what it is with the Knicks of his bad communication, lack of defensive basketball like you.
But we have a hard time dealing with teams that like to slash and like the cut and move the ball well, have a hard time stopping a minute paint.
We have a hard time covering that three point line.
That three point line has been initial for years.
I don't know what it is if it's something in at the water at Madison Square Garden.
I don't know what it is, but it's been that issue for years, and we had a turnover, lineup changes and coaches.
We still can't figure out how to defend this three point line.
Frustrating last five games for both teams, the Knicks of one and four.
They're averaging 105.
6 points per game into giving up a whopping 123.
4 points per game.
And the last five games.
Ladies and gentlemen and then Milwaukee Bucks game.
Did not help that number at all.
Didn't help it at all.
The next is shooting 42.
8% from the field, 27.
1% from three in the last five games.
Offense has not been looking good the last five games, the grabbing 44.
4 rebounds per game.
They're averaging 21.
8 assists on Lee.
Gotta give him that.
They only turn the ball over 11 times.
Became in the last five games they've taken.
Gave the ball all season long.
That's a good thing.
Now we've gotta utilize those possessions Just when I'm turning the ball over, we've got to utilize those possessions to score.
We've had some times, will be turned it over.
Every team does.
We've had some times where we turned it over in Bunches, which can really be debilitating to a team, But for the most part, we've taken care of the ball.
Now we got to convert those possessions two points.
The next offensive rating in the last five games is 103.
1 28th in the league in the defense of rating has been 1 20.
5 That's 30th in the league.
Basically the last five games, the Knicks have been the worst team in the NBA.
The Phoenix Suns.
Over the last five games, the regulars two and three, they're averaging 105 points per game.
They're giving up 108.
8 points per game, shooting 46.
2% from the field in the shooting, 28.
5% from three, the average 44.
4 rebounds per game, 20 to assess and 14.
8 turnovers per game.
The offensive rating in the last five games has been 104.8.
That's 26th in the league, and their defensive rating over the last five games has been 109 which is 10th in the league.
I said they're playing good defense now.
We'll see how Kelly you, Bri being out impacts both sides of the ball because he's a good defender and he could score.
He's averaging 18 points per game, right? So you're taking those two things out of their lineup with Kelly, you brain not being there.
All right, So we'll see how that impacts the team.
Key matchup tomorrow.
Devin Booker and R.
Ladies and gentlemen, Devin Booker.
You see what he listen? The last time we played the Phoenix Suns, Devin Booker went toe work.
Without a doubt, he went toe work against this.
You know Devin Booker The last time we played, you know, he dropped, like, 29 39 38 points on us.
Hey, he was cooking the last time we played.
You gotta give it up too.
He was killing. He made a lot of people drooling.
Say, man, I want that guy on my team.
You see? Right here.
Devin Booker, The last time you played the at 38 points.
He also, while he had 38 points, it was killing us from any spot on the floor that he wanted to To r J.
Berry. You seen him the last time.
And you should have a little bit of fire burning in your belly.
Right? Because we know all J.
Aren't they better? Two tough guys, tough dude.
You know, he's got the fire burning in his belly.
He wants to get down one back.
And I don't mean to get it back by scoring a whole bunch of points.
You know, he just wants to get that one back.
He wants to, you know, he's not gonna just come out and just let Devin Booker do what he wants to do.
All right, Frank Miller Kane is probably not gonna play.
So we're not gonna have an extra defendant, though.
Maybe. I'm pretty sure Reggie Bull could see some time on him.
Hey, right, because he's also a good defender.
Any Reggie book may see some time on Devin Booker, right from the get go, we'll see how Mike Miller decides to match up.
Mike Miller did.
Call Did call Reggie book his stopper, he said.
That's that's our stopper.
So we'll see how that we'll see how it goes.
Zero goals are J Berries, averaging 14.
3 points per game, 5.
3 rebounds a game, 2.
5 assists per game, 1.
1 steals per game.
But over the last few games, he's you know he's taking that up a notch.
I don't know what the exact averages are.
I was going to look up and find those exact averages, but I didn't exactly have enough time to do that.
But we all know that he's been, Ah, probably the best player on the team over the last five or six games.
He's really been He's really being cooking.
As a matter of fact, R.
Barrett over the last.
I don't know what it was.
I used to have one up here, but I don't have it up here anyway.
You know R J best be cooking over the last few games.
Eso you know, he should be able to give Devin Booker.
You really make Devil Book of work on the defensive side of the ball, all right.
And that's what we're gonna need.
We're gonna need they have a book, Would have to work on the defensive side and then placing really good defense on offense. Society ball.
We're gonna talk about some keys to the game.
Well, since we're talking about R J Bear and what he has been doing over the last a few games, let's take a listen to R. J.
Would have got same, albeit barely.
I'm going to get it today.
What does that mean? You get a boat.
I don't know, man.
You know, normally my hair is my only saves My superpower.
Yeah, Everything was okay.
Uh, they could learn a lot.
So now in the games, I kind of low, certain small things that are helping me out a little bit.
So I've been improving over sometime.
You had that experience back.
I guess it was kind of kind of changed for me.
I feel like I played against most of the teams now, so I kind of know, like, kind of seen a lot of a lot of people seeing a lot of players see how teams play, So next time you automatically know everything's different.
Something's on something over.
It just depends on you beginning.
I told you, Keep working on it.
It's a matter of time.
You know, I feel like everybody coming into the league like all the stars.
You see where they're at when they 1st 8 minutes.
Now it's just work.
You put in nothing.
I've just been shooting a lot before.
Why leave every practice I got make 10 or 15 in a row.
I get off the court.
So I know that Look, how much is your confidence? Confidence go is I never wait for you in a bad game.
I feel like I get good shots and I just missed him that game game yesterday, it was the same shots on home and take it is made of that way.
Yeah, My thing is, I think the game's over. It's done.
I guess they really do.
It is kind of watched film, but you can't really be too worried about what happened in the game or down there.
Something happened, you know, watching see where you can improve 36 last year, just try to learn a lot from every business.
You know the game as much as I can.
So that hopefully as things team keeps going and I could be a piece Ah, a couple weeks ago last week and fight to the answer, You know, kind of get that one back here in camp.
How did kind of freak? I've seen many on my visit, Oregon.
20 quid tables and jump in touch the top of the backboard.
And we have to get a ladder to get to tape down.
You see any other all the time? Can you talk a lot? Okay.
Talking with every day.
So happy when I heard he bring a certain positivity and energy into thine.
But I know that it's good to see you.
I think maybe maybe Mitch Miss could do it.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, you heard him talking about Kenny right there.
Um jumped up and put tape on the top of the backboard.
That's pretty crazy, but, you know, we already know what kind of leaping ability as but you heard r. J. Barrett.
You know, talk about you know, the way that.
You know some of the reasons that he's playing well right now.
You know, as he that's kind of learned the game a little bit, maybe slowing down a little bit form.
Oh, he's understanding where he could get his shots off and he's working in those areas so that he can get it.
You know when when he gets the ball in those areas, you could be efficient, right? Because we've seen all season long that he would be there.
He'd get open in the corner, open in the corner.
Wasn't knocking it down.
Last few games, he's been knocking it down.
A man in the chat Ah ha looking Sharon.
Oh, hi, Don't gun Ceron.
However you say Your name said, Oh, he's averaging 19 in six shooting, 45% from the field and 40% from three over the past few games.
All right, that's that's very good.
Very good again.
6 rebounds, 45% Minnifield, 43% from three over the past few games.
All right, that's all J.
Ladies and gentlemen, I So he should be able to make it used to be able to make Devin Booker work a little bit.
All right, so let's continue talking about our match up.
And then I got a couple of guys in the video chat that we get to shortly.
All right? We're gonna get to it shortly.
And, you know, like you hurt.
You hurt. R J Bears say they want this one back.
He wants back, but they bear for you, Ladies and gentlemen.
All right, Next matchup.
N in Mitchell, Rob and sit.
We'll see if the Andre is gonna come off the bench or if he's gonna be a starter.
The last time we played them, he had, like, about 15 points and 13 rebounds.
You went to work, all right? He's a He's a beast on em.
I'm not gonna lie to you.
You know, when I see and do some of his moves, he liked looks and reminds me of Patrick doing a little bit down in the post being I'm just telling you what I see.
You might see something different.
You know, I just seem like flashes off looking like a young Patrick going down there a little bit dehydrated.
The center averages 15.
9 points per game, 11.
1 rebounds per game.
UH, E averages 1.
6 blocks per game.
You soon 54% from the field, and that's not 54%.
I'm not knocking Mitch, but that's not 54% of just, you know, catching Alley.
Oops, that's 54% of Maxie Post work.
Mitchell Robinson, seven foot two forties of center.
He's averaging 9.
9 points per game, 6.
5 assists and 1.
7 blocks per game.
And he's shooting 71.
3% from the field.
And that's because he catches a lot out of you.
Oops, One of these days he's going to expand what he does on the field.
I'm on the field, on the court, gonna get their little mid range jump shot.
Hopefully, he'll learn.
Supposed to move some things like that will give us some time.
He'll get there.
You're saying you see him averaging 15 16 17 points per game one of these days, he's gonna get there, ladies and gentlemen, right, But that's a match up.
We're gonna be looking forward to seeing as Well, and Mitch is not gonna be the only guy guard.
Deandra eight is gonna be some other people out there that guard, but right, that's a matchup we're gonna see.
And I'm gonna enjoy watching that matchup Some of the keys to the game Number one.
Let's defend the paint and defended three.
Ladies and gentlemen, please, It's killing me every time I watch a game, we can't defend those two areas because in today's n b A.
You either at the basket or you're suing the three.
This doesn't players that not gonna mean range, but for the most part, at those two areas, you know, I'm saying so you've got to be able to defend those two areas.
As a matter of fact, that's trying to force people to shoot Met ranges.
They don't want to shoot him.
Let's try to force it to.
That's much easier said than done.
I know, but we've gotta defend the paint.
We can't let people just get right to the rim with their fingernails, sc****d the orange off the rim.
The guy's getting wide open threes where they you know, they got three seconds before anybody can even get to him.
I'm exaggerating, but you know what I mean.
I'm gonna have to help out of Devin Booker.
Booker has an advanced offensive game, you know? Kind of, You know, now, good Devin Booker will play in the mid range.
You have knocked down the mid, be shocked he'll knock down the three.
He'll take it to the basket and do whatever he wants on the floor.
He's an off a talented office of player.
May gotta give him that.
So, you know, help out R J buried a little bit with Devin Booker.
But look at him, right? Given different looks.
Double team don't double team.
I got the different things that don't make him think a little bit on the court.
Not just go. Wow.
His last time you went wild against us.
Kelly, you braise out right? Let's not let ancillary players get hot.
The last time there were four players in double digits, four players did all of this scoring Devin Booker.
Kelly, you bray theology 18.
Somebody else I can Oh, beans And Baines, He scored in her veins.
Those four players did all of this scoring.
Everybody else was in single digits and most of them low single digits.
One other person had nine.
I think Ricky Rubio had nine points.
Everybody else was 340 So now one of those players Kelly uber, is out right? That's 18 points per average per game average per game out.
He had 28 against his last time.
That's 80 points out.
Somebody else will pick up the slack somewhere.
Well, let's not let these insulated players get hot.
Make Bangs, Booker and eight and beat us and see if we can get three guys.
That could be hot.
Barrett Julius Randle in somebody else because Marcus Morris ain't gonna be there probably isn't gonna be there.
We need to get hot or let's have some good balanced scoring.
Move the basketball man movement.
Let's get some balance going out there.
Outscored their bench.
We should outscore their bench.
Let's get some good balance school and make them have toe work on the defensive side of the ball.
Last five games, their 10th in the league and defense, so let's make their defense work.
Let's see if It's really real.
They are they really, really the 10 best team in the league right now? It's for on the defensive side of the ball.
Or did they just get hot for a couple of games? Put it, Let's test it out, Make a move.
Making work, make him have to communicate, make him have to talk on all offensive side.
Let's continue this play with some tempo.
Now the Phoenix Suns not listen.
They're one of the best teams at stopping the fast break.
I think they're third in the league, our opponents scoring against them on the fast break.
I'm meaning they were good in transition.
They have good transition defense.
I playing with tempo is not just transition defense, though.
Playing with temples.
Also, once you get into the half court set, I mean, playing with simple is not just transition offense.
When you get into the half court set, moving the ball with some velocity, moving with what pace you know, saying not standing, holding, watching, cutting with some speed, with some conviction, those type of things that's also playing with simple.
I see if we can play with some tempo, then let's score in the paint.
The sun's give up 49.
7 points per game in a day.
Right, let's try.
Let's go inside.
Let's see if we can get Mitchell Robinson. Awesome lobs.
Let's get Julius Randle run into the basket, not just posting up midway.
You know, at the high post or down low to see if we can get a moving towards the basket.
See if we can get some buckets, see if we can get the points inside.
Scoring the pain.
7 points per game.
I think that's in the paint.
I think that's third in, Uh, sorry.
23rd in the league or something like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, get to the guys in the video chat talk a little bit.
All right, let's talk to these guys, see what they're thinking about this game.
And you know, I do that every time, always forgetting.
I do that every single time.
I don't mean to bring up screen and I bring it up and I don't got things set right anyway, whatever you mean, it's the little things, Sim.
The little things get the little things right, you'll be OK.
Gamow coming to man.
Give me a second to get everything a muted Go ahead.
Man was going on.
I owe sub Cem chilling man.
Look at this game and you know I can say is winnable.
I again say another game is winnable.
Um but I think one thing not say you miss it, I think one thing that we have to focus on two is a pick and roll man.
Because Devin Booker killed us in the fourth quarter with that pick and roll and he wasn't choking up threes.
He was killing us in the mid range.
It was almost like, you know, using a running back to kind of way down a defense late in the game.
If you saw, they just can't be kept abusing abuse and abuse and abuse that pickle roll.
And again, there's a diamond broker who is on the same Don't be so last year where he's having a ball, is trying to, you know, they're trying to use him as this point guard slash shooting guard type of role.
You know, they have Rubio now on.
And I think another thing is that we have to play the passing lanes, right? Rubio Rubio's A guy was not gonna you know he's not.
He's not going to sit there and try to score on you.
Even though he's a capable story, is not based on guest to the transporter.
He's always looked out for the past.
The money William system, especially early, already played this in the first half.
They were moving the ball lot.
The ball got around a lot in that offense, and then they kind of killed us with all who brakes Scooby into threes and then Anna Mrs Boy's name, Booker obviously hombres out.
But paying also, you know, he was killed us in the first half.
I can remember he had a second, but I remember he was getting his shots off in the first half, man.
And that's something Mitch Mitch has to.
You know, it is not necessarily, you know, playing man of defense.
We'll ask you to get the ball in trying to get a block every possession.
There's also frustrating is leverage.
Right when he's soon, they're trying to post up, you know, get in front of him.
Frustrated so luego.
Ruby was now trying to look for the past.
You can't get it.
Because look, you 73 you get in front of a guy like a and yes, he said in three.
But you're 730 they both send down on that.
How? Each one is but above seven feet.
So, you know, really trying to get that pass over.
He's trying to dump it off, you know, disrupted.
You know, you don't have to use your strength, you know, learn other ways to kind of throw those guys off rhythm.
The sends it to me, you know, their offense.
It works off rhythm.
Last game that killed us with debris and then Devin Booker, the pick and roll being and rhythm.
I mean, so all know again defended Pick and roll.
Like you said, don't let the insulated plays beat us guys like Sorry, JJ.
You know, guys like McCall, Bridges, uh, I secretly want in that draft, but, you know, you get a, um, you know, disrupt those guys or don't a lot of those guys that kills from the perimeter, because that's probably ready.
Give me We're gonna kill Scott.
Like Sorry to space out Macau Bridges was Nova.
Sentries aren't always doing it.
She's probably should never but ah, yeah, Like like you said, man that struck the pick and roll, get the passing lanes, disrupt the passing lane.
And once you get those stills, you get this a team to go bludgeon in terms of defense, right? You disrupt the passing lanes, you know? Now you turned the book into a guy with a spike and get no say frustrated, but is gonna turn to plan B, where to put the ball in different bookies hands and try to make him try to sal***e or get that the team out of the rudder's right.
So, to me, man, that was my keys of gay men.
And if you get Devin Booker trying to jack up shots, 40 shots a game show, you know, 30 some percent from the field, that's a very winnable game.
Um, right now I mean, who are you putting on that? Are you putting R j on Devin Booker right off the bat? Or you gonna try Reggie Bullock or what? Ah, I want r j.
Because again to me, r j.
He rises to the occasion.
What we've seen from offense has been really impressive, but I want to see a game where r.
J Barrett man for man.
I think it's obviously gonna use picks to try to get R.
J Barrett off. He's defending.
Well, um well, I want to see r.
Baron initially on on booking better again. Booker.
You know, they think they used Booker as basic traditional to now, right? Because they have Rubio.
So it's not gonna necessarily be Booker trying to like you cross them up and do all this stuff.
They're gonna try to get book out in space getting a switch, but yeah, I would like to see Archie, but I want to see him, right. I say it's an occasion.
Does he? You know, how does he play the pick A rose? You come around the pigs smartly, and it's also for the team itself, because again, you don't necessarily in certain situations.
Yes, but you could shoot off.
So you may want to have him come around a screen for you.
Also want your big many kind of peaked too.
Where it's like, I'm not letting you never forget that shot off Mama run back to my big man, You know, Steven Adams.
The better centers of the league do that really well, so, yeah, I would like to see book up R J baritone, but in terms old defense, I want to see the whole defense how to react and had a adapt to what? The start is it to him last game? Because what they did to us in the fourth quarter, we have no answer for it.
So All right, honestly, having adapted it, right, Right.
Um, and I want to see Mitch have a return game.
You know, I think I think he misses frankly, looking out there on the offensive side of the ball, you know, those two guys had, you know, they have good a chemistry.
E S p um so I think he's missing him on the offensive side of the ball.
Ah, I want to see Mitch have ah have a game.
You know, he's had a few rough ones.
I want to see him have a good game. Get that.
You know, I don't know if he's ever losing confidence, but you know that now it's just you see, you can see like what happens was yesterday we got bludgeoned right and, you know, guys got taken out.
The playwright, You know, uh, there's a play where Jeon Is this a neuro stepping in there like three guys just watching him get to the basket? I don't know if Mitch is in that time.
I got to look back, but you know, you can see sometimes Michigan eventually get taken out the game I want.
I want this team that when their offense isn't doing well, it doesn't affect their defense because, like I said, Your defense Look, I'm telling you, you guys all know that some of the best greatest two way players of all time they've had games where they're shooting 30 some percent from the field.
The shot was just not following, but they won that game because their defense, like go look at the way way old Dwayne Wade videos go look at Jordan videos.
No, I mean, like these guys, Kobe Bryant's, even though Kobe Bryant Chuck, he doesn't care if you be sure 10% is gonna shoot 50 shots again.
But in Kobe Bryant's pride, when he's you know, he's a top the top defender, these guys, they would not let their badge truth and get some.
Obviously, they will go to guys anyway, so they're gonna get the bulldog, Arliss.
But their defense, you know, sometimes they took games or sometimes here and there.
But you know, all in all, sometimes use that defense to get that back.
And I want to see Mitch Robinson, you know, because it really his game is really al you kind of garbage points put put back ins.
So it's fairly limited, right? And that whole thing you made a great point is that, you know, Frank, cause Frank says the past first point guard when Frank is penetration to the basket and he has a guy right in front of him, you know, he's looking for that past that Mitch Mitch has to adapt.
And now look, I got I got a major.
And now that breeze out, they're probably going to go into eating a lot more, and he's gonna try to use his little move range shot.
He's gonna try to play a little volleyball, establish leverage.
How can I disrupt him to where he's ineffective? And even if I don't score 15 points 18 20 points, you know I'm a plus on the sheet.
You know I'm a terror.
They don't They not trying to take shots away from me because I'm not.
I want to see one of old.
Maybe not a great deal, because the old Miss Robinson over drops it.
He's on to year, two years.
But anyway, from last season second half, when he was having blocks blocking dudes out on the perimeter, I want to see him play with that same zeal and I saying aggressiveness.
But not in the centuries Jumper for everything.
Because he has to keep his feet.
No, they have a scammer point, and then you do a good fake.
He'll jump in and fly to the other half.
Of course, I want to see him.
How you play last year when D. J.
B and guys were literally like China puffy, and it is, I I gotta reset.
Nothing shows up on it on the stat sheet, but in that situation, if a guy has to pass out the bowl, if you can't score you like he was planning to do you want that says that's a win.
I want Mitchell Robinson, Coast Miller.
I want those guys to get the Coast Guard to reiterate to him.
Yes, you've won that battle.
Because when you look up and the shot clock is four seconds left and they don't have a good shot up, you caused that.
When you look up and the score is tied or whatever, it's the fourth quarter is close because a And when, you know, he shot 30% from 40% from the field, 30% for the field or something like that. He was having a game.
Couldn't really finished when you couldn't really establish a shot.
You won, you, digger.
So that's what I want to see his guy.
Same thing for Knox to man.
A lot of these guys, they think very linear in terms of I got a score that's really value having a team, especially not.
I want to see Mitch and I want to see Knox where they're playing defense and that invigorates him.
And maybe it doesn't show up in a stat sheet, but you look at the plus minus u P ours.
We're gonna call it defensive efficiency, use body block and it's through the roof because they're focused on their man And they're shutting down there, man.
Uh uh, Nick Same.
Uh, what's going on with you, man? How you feeling? You can play good.
What's your take, man? What do you think about his game and gamble? You're still alive, But, um, what's your take? Um, one thing that is so Atlanta had played a paint last night.
Right? Um I'm sorry.
The sons played a little quiet panel and Ricky Rubio ago, um, he was out because he re corrected and his kid to be born first.
All congrats to him.
But if you think of Elford Peyton, I think this game could actually be matched up between Alfred Peyton and on Ricky Rubio.
Point guard plane.
Um, if it's Albert, Peyton could get his act together because he's been really off since his kid's been born.
And if you think Rubio coming back from similar type, cir***stance might be a little bit off, too, Even though he's been playing well all season.
Um, I think tomorrow night, um, just the way that Rubio organized Sorry the way overpaid organizes offense.
And then also the way l for Peyton could defend Percy Rubio to disrupt their offense because the way The sons and I just listened toe locked on sons just before I came on here.
Just I could know how to play.
They've been saying, Basically, if Devin Booker is like the old one, it hasn't going.
Everyone else suffer, and then Ricky Rubio is the one that gets everyone else going.
So if you think Elfrid Payton from a defensive standpoint, could disrupt Rick your review in any way, shape or form in a disrupt everyone else on offense, now you're talking about no Kelly you bring.
But I thought that would have been the big matchup Kelly reverses on R. J.
Um, and in a sense, um, Julius Randle verses, um, Devin Booker, because those two are going to give you the scoring, but not much defense.
Kelly, you Bran and RG Barrett could bring it to a tie.
But in Rubio, who gets the offense going for everyone else? If you disrupt him, you disrupt the rest of the team, which it actually could happen.
The second thing, that song that the sun's broadcast guy said Waas that the bank have been really lack in, and they were thinking about putting McHale bridge ins on the bench.
Um, since when will be all was out last night, they put Michael Bridges on the unleashed guards meaning entree young to try to defend trade young.
It didn't work last night, but if McKell Bridges is on Elfrid Payton or even could be Alan McAlpin is might shut one of them now.
So it's all about Helper Peyton winning his matchup and keeping the team going.
So is Rick is Rookie will be Oh, definitely coming back tomorrow.
I don't know, because the way they said it didn't sound like he was gonna play, But I'm looking it up now and doesn't see that he's out right, so right and doesn't It s questionable.
So I might be wrong.
Yeah, we'll see.
But those are some good points, man.
I mean, Ricky Rubio? Yeah, he gets everybody else involved.
Doesn't have to get that book involved.
It's everybody else involved.
Um, and if he's not there, if he's not dead, so if you can rattle him a little bit, you know, because that's the thing.
The last time we played on four guys did all the scorn or guys.
Callie, you bray, Devin Booker, DeAndre in and Baines did all the scoring.
You know me, Everybody else within a single digits, I think Macau Bridges. No, I'm sorry.
Ricky Rubio had nine points.
Everybody else was, like 3403 Um, you know, because the ***** really hasn't been playing that well that we could keep those those guys not scoring.
And now you've got a big you know, Ellie, you braise out.
You know, we should really, really have a chance.
Now, the thing is, they play in a type of system where there's a lot of ball a man movement so easily another one.
Those ancillary parts could get hot.
Well, because it awaited a play worthing stem is that they were trying to make was whatever Devon Booker's going everyone else suffers because and that you know how they used to say and let Kobe school appoints, let team Max call the points on.
Then they're not gonna pass enough to keep everyone else going.
And everyone's offensive flow is and you know that good.
In a sense, you can say, Devon, book of beat us score 70 points, but everyone else is going to score.
Like to um and then DeAndre Ayten he's just getting his legs back after being suspended, so he's probably at the 15 game mark right now.
Um and you just got twin plus 20 points and 20 and 10 last night.
Before that, he was, like, around 10 15 points per game.
So you're talking about whoever it is, what it be, Taj Taj has to be a veteran savvy against him.
Use all the tricks in the book, whoever is the point guard or wherever it is, they gotta drive the ball hard and get him into foul trouble if possible.
You know, like we gotta be real careful on not letting eight and be the second score.
Because Devon book is gonna get his.
Everyone else gotta be shut down and or limited to some degree, you know? So how about this? How about when eight and gets the ball in the post when he's trying to set up in a pose? If Devon Booker's not on his side, which I'm assuming part maybe because you probably have Rubio pirate dump it off on my seven book.
It comes round up time, you know, disrupt them double team and empowered right back out.
If he makes a successful pass.
I mean, I want to see the Knicks defense.
I had a box played us man.
Like that defense, they work.
It was like they were on drugs like cocaine, just like zoomed like it was stifling.
You know, me and I want to see a defense where it's active, but it's smart, right? So once you said the double team, once he puts the ball dying dribbles if he had, if he has the lane to pass that you reset your that other guy who came and helped reset back, you know? I mean, you don't have to say that now.
If you have him trapped and say a corner some like that, he turns around, he makes ah, Julius Randle turn into the wrong side.
You trapping there, you try to get the ball.
But you know, again, Monty Williams has these guys a lot of all for with this lot more movement guys and moving around.
So I think I'm scared of Is that the Andre? But it gets the border in a in A and a post.
Some guy comes around curls into the middle and out.
Double team does a sense that we play em, you know, I'll double team just comes in like we're not seeing that that that type of.
So it is just playing a smart Like I said, play the passing lanes against him, make sure he doesn't have any place really to sit down and dribbled and take a little shot or to try to believe Mitch, you can put it.
I said you should put on Mitchell.
I don't want to put all missions all around to be a smart because you don't have a guy tell you great slashing and like killed us with three last time.
You know, he's not a great three point shooting accused three last time, so they got it.
We're gonna put the onus on guys like Macau Bridges.
Could I put our Darko, Dario, Saric, JJ, and also Baines, you know, So it means killers, But yeah, and that's one thing, man.
Baines really killed us in Mitch.
And Mitch does this a lot.
He's gonna have to learn how to guard these.
These centers that can shoot threes.
I don't know how many times we've seen guys like Baines and another centers that cannot go on threes.
Brook Lopez wide open out there because, you know, Miss, either gets caught.
He's helping out somebody else.
And then, you know that person is wide open, you know, from obviously it's something that is gonna have to learn how to deal with in the NBA.
But right now, teams recognize it and taken advantage of it, you know? I mean, and I'm a little bit afraid about Banes right now if he's win and if he's matching up with Mitch in the game one way some of the guys wanna broadcast brought this point about Aaron Beings Tomb.
They said that Aaron Beans in the last 30 games been shooting 26% from three.
We'll start off the season really hot.
But then he got real cola.
Liam, He's frigid right now, huh? Yeah.
I mean, but, I mean, we played against us, right? Not against us.
We play them just 12 12 days ago, and he was killing against us.
Well, but the reason why I mentioned that it, huh? I know.
I think he got knocked out or something to see if he's still there.
And you go, e That was me. My internet sucks.
No e I reason that refresh button by mistake.
Um, but the point that they were making about Aaron Baynes was that he got said he started off the season real hot, got real cold.
And somewhere the truth is in the middle.
And what we were just saying is that DeAndre ***ueness is getting intel form.
Aaron Baynes is going backwards.
So when you talk about Mitch, if you talk about defending Aaron beings, I think it's more depends on the guys from the bench like our bench has to outshine their bench, their weaknesses, their *****.
So if Aaron Baynes is coming in, who's gonna defend Aaron Baynes? Is it gonna be Mitch? Is it gonna be Bobby Portis? Um, you know, etcetera like those guys really have to hold Aaron beings down because when they go to their bench, they don't have a good backup point guard.
They don't have.
They were talking about moving McKell bridges to the bench, but they can't so, like they a conundrum right now, Um, thing nowhere in the thing and one thing you don't want to do is give any guy open shots because I could get us colleges though has focused back.
And next, I don't think we have one of the better perimeter defense is at all.
So I can only imagine Airbase reply playing against, you know, from courts that can actually defend a lot better than Nick's.
Now to who we should put on defending if you have Aaron Baynes.
And I don't know if you have any Baines and Deandra and I would prefer Mitchell Nagin.
So he was because I think I think with Mitch is that he doesn't want to be here is gonna be be on approach, which is weird, because when you saw him on the Team USA, think maybe that little injury kind of took away some of his confidence because when you saw him in a team USA, wasn't it a little try out of what they called it? He was out there against what? No, it was a young duty kids out there against car cools Mongkok.
Koosman got him on a couple of plays, but and it is that these are now like you said, so he doesn't want to be out there on the perimeter with these big guys boat? I don't know. Maybe the injury.
Maybe a kind of, you know, smooth them a little bit.
He doesn't want to mess up his next contract. Whatever.
That's what I'm thinking.
Because he wasn't like this really last year or into the summer.
So I'd rather Portis out on a guy like Baines who Yes, Baines is a was was hot at the three point is also very linear, right? So base not gonna sit there and cross you up once against the the has you on your son like that.
He's very linear how he plays.
So yeah, that's that's what remains against us.
In the last game, he had 20 points.
But Nick, you're right.
He was two for eight from the three point line, so he was 25% from three.
Yeah, is cold, man.
He's 2025% from three.
He's still shot 43.
8% from the field.
Now, of course, inside the Knicks are you know, we're vulnerable inside, too, So I mean e I mean, what can we do? I mean, and like I was saying earlier, that's the to Eric.
Not as many teams shoot mint range shots is at the basket, you know, somewhere around the basket or three or soon it right.
And we can't defend either area, but them just to go take a gamble.
Second, other point, um, where we were talking about, like defending this guy's on the perimeter and stuff.
Who is the starting five foot his game.
Really? Because I mean up make you put Mitch in the game.
So I've been thinking Miss should start, period.
What? Mitch in the game versus Ayten.
But Mitch has to come in with a disciplined mind set that he's not gonna go gonna file out would go for the fakes because he isn't to me.
He isn't strong enough.
The guard on Aaron being I mean, I'm sorry, DeAndre eaten because it is very advanced in the post.
Um, compete especially compared to Mitchell's defense in the post.
So you don't want Mitch to file out? One of the reasons he didn't make you a Team USA is because he constantly filed out like you have.
Like Mitch could be the deciding factor versus fun esteem.
One that for Mitch that I saw in one of these games.
I can't remember which one was a drive to the basket like they could easily give him the ball in a pinch post and make him drive to the basket.
And that would add a wrinkle to his to the game.
Wait a couple of times, staying and the post and waiting for the guy to come around for that stupid hand.
Oh, how about you just triple threat? Just take one dribble if you need it and just hit the little mentoring shot.
Because the Senate is a lot of times they they actually sack off of him.
Yes, because they do not do anything, even when he's not close to the Post.
In terms of like, one step, he sort of basket, you know, one step for anywhere, which might be about it in terms of that stupid little hand up they do like a foot or so away from the inside the three point line.
A lot of times, the center is a sagging off.
Um, I was literally just fake it.
I'd fake the handoff, let the point guard over who's going to guys coming around Big Attack Island.
Keep running, dribble one step into the fast and foul out and just hit the shot you right there.
Because a lot of times he left over three and you could take it.
Um, you might as well get all that out now, even if he even if he just airball, he clinks it.
Whatever it is you're just shooting.
So what? Just shoot it, everybody.
I would I would.
Punishments like, if you want more minutes, actually.
Want to see you shoot three shots in? Yeah, we got a game.
I don't care if it's like I'm giving you now is the best offensive rebound team shows up to us.
That's because we miss a lot of shots, but it's up to us to get the rebounds.
And that's also the Nets.
Becomes a directive for the whole team once. Mitch.
I'm going to see at least two guys crashing the boards if you're gonna see guys being more active on the boards and I said, give him give the kid confidence it makes Those says this guy has a nice foul shot.
I saw him shoot once once one time one time.
I think it's I think you can, you know, he shot at one time.
He shot, shot an airball.
Maybe he got afraid from that.
Who knows what he's got One.
He shot and admit a little.
The baseline meant a baseline.
It was like another guy was like one of his guys, actually, kind of like right in front of him.
And he shot it in him.
It was pretty and went like, Yo, Billy, we're going to the playoffs anyway.
You might as well just get it to the playoffs.
Even if we were in contention, you would still want him to do that because the opportunity is there.
If the opportunity is there, let him start developing that DeAndre in last night when they play the halt.
So whatever it was when he played dogs last game, they played the Hawks.
DeAndre ate and came off the bench.
I'm assuming I'm assuming he's gonna come off the bench again tomorrow night.
So it was It was it he got suspended was because that foot injury he wasn't playing earlier in the season.
Now he got suspended earlier earlier, but when he played us, all right, just come off a foot injury.
Right? Or some like that ankle foot injury might have been.
Might have been. I'm not sure.
Yeah, I think when he played us, he was coming over a go, and he was coming off of an injury.
So he was suspended earlier in the season.
When he played us, he was coming off an injury or something, but he I think he started.
He started when he played us.
You start anyplace you he started, but I don't know if it's gonna start tomorrow, so we'll see.
We're gonna see how looks may I say that? It'll be interesting game.
We'll see what's up.
Sooner or later.
When Kenny Woman is playing, you know we'll have another shot blocker, albeit to another guy like blocks of shots.
I discussed trade ready soon.
Um, not much, you know, a little bit.
What's that like? What is it? Is he gonna direct it to not played because that don't ever on the explanation? Wasn't that good? Man, we have a lot of wing guards, is like, huh? I don't I don't get it.
That's not why can't this kid get minutes and he's been doing it? Seems like he's doing certain things that you have.
A thing is why would he get a directive to not play tree when they gave him? He's making $3 million this year, right? So why would they give him a directive? A directive to not play truth.
I could see if you're saying Well, you know, it's the trade deadline.
Maybe they want to trade him.
But it's been like this since the beginning of the season.
I'm grasping at straws.
Like you gotta help me.
It doesn't make any sense.
Why this kid's not playing less is Hey, we're going to give him heavy minutes Once the trade deadline comes, we trade, sir.
Guys about block.
We're just trying to showcase our guys that if that's the case in okay, But I don't know, man like you can't really trade a guy that you're not playing in terms of if they want to.
Trade trick is not really showcasing into me again.
He's doing little things that it feels like.
I think the team, they're asking for this stuff, man, he's getting the ball lot quicker.
He's not being a black hole on the offense as much as he was before.
You tell me he's still I don't know what his averages are, but when he's in there, he's, you know, he's shooting decently like he's making shots like I know it's tough to say.
It's up to say why he's not playing, um, car before 20 said, Trade did something bad and they're not telling us.
No, I don't know.
I mean, if you did something bad, it does not last with this long.
There's certain things that you could say sin.
That is why it is probably, I think something bad.
Then you just wave him right? So, do you know something? You're just wasting its time.
You was playing with Kevin Durant over the summer and remember you was playing like two K with Kevin Durant.
I don't think so, because they've been friends.
Him and Kevin Durant had been friends ever since he was in high school.
You know what I'm saying? Him and Kevin Durant's been friends since he's been in high school, so I don't think it's that I'm pretty sure that they knew that him and Kevin Durant were friends Yeah.
What, You think the Knicks would be bad? Because Kevin Durant kind of spurned, huh? Yeah, way ticket on.
So the funniest things that is so petty.
But that sounds so Nick like Well, what? We'll check it out.
He's gonna be a free agent this summer.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him being.
I would not be surprised to see him go to Brooklyn.
Brooklyn landlord wouldn't be surprised to see she'll go to broken, right.
I mean, you know, but then you're playing behind some good guards there, of course, but still Yeah, but if you guys think that situation for tree is bad now I watch how to Brooklyn Nets play.
I'm telling you, Kyrie.
Irving, Hey, I put money gonna start hearing rumors that they want to get rid of him.
Because as talented as Kyrie, Irving is one of my favorite assassins.
That bull does not move around, and, uh, good enough.
And I watched that sixties game and sixes came back.
I believe they won because I was at the gym.
And they were down by, like, four or five.
That that Yeah, the train goes there, it'll be it ain't gonna be better for him.
So I I don't know the mix of doing, but to me, it just trail.
He's a talented player.
Manu school use averaging 44 from the field last year, and he plays his defense is inconsistent, but try just Yeah, that's what you get when you try to ask the defendant on these young guys.
Is is it really is where? For me, Right? Because we all expected that he was gonna come in.
You know, we looked at the numbers that he had.
There was some people that thought he was gonna be to start shooting guard.
Everyone expected he was gonna be, you know? Ah, jump start her off the bench.
A guy that could come in at the drop of a dime and give you buckets.
You know, I'm saying, um I don't know.
I just don't get it.
I think if he did something that bad, though, you know, people are saying some crazy, weird stuff in the chat.
If he did something bad, right then I think they would just wave him.
Is, you know, is $3 million.
I don't think he did anything bad at all.
I don't know what it is.
Mom of your hair or sister or family? Can you help us out, Please? Let us know.
Just tell us something, man. Like his house.
True feeling, Because it doesn't make any sense, Man.
Like Mike Miller really gave the political answer because he really didn't have anything to say.
Yeah, What type of ends? We have a bunch of weight, but you're playing Ellington.
I don't get me wrong.
Ellington go out tonight tomorrow night and score 50 points.
Ellington is gonna be still hard to trade because he's It's Ellington, you know? I mean, like, dude, Right? Right.
All right, let's end with So no offense and I hate it.
I thought it was terrible.
I think that I thought that guy was gonna get some burn until he sucks.
I was I was saying, Hey, he could be probably probably but Soft Postman, But no, I tried.
Reggie Bullock is kind of destroyed.
Any idea that l'm too should begin any minutes over guys like Bullock or even Dotson, you know, has been scoring necessarily too well recently.
But Ellington, I mean, I don't get it next.
Just were teamed them.
But I will see, you know, you know, now that they've acts Mike Miller about it.
I don't know, see like like while he's kind of the opposite of Fizdale with Fizdale, a lot of times I felt if the if the president of Russia or the fans text about a certain player, all of a sudden, that guy's playing Ah, right And he kind of confirmed that.
He kind of confirmed that when he did that interview the other day and he was talking about how, um, it's hard to win and you know, it's hard to rebuild in New York because the fans want a winner and they want it now and all this kind of stuff because they've been waiting for so long.
So it kind of tells me that he really is list.
He really was listening to fans and hearing what fans are saying and hearing all of that kind of stuff, you know, saying because it seemed like every time the fans were asking time play frankly, Volcano play, frankly, Latina play Frank L.
Kina Frightening looking is plain.
Do you know, play this guy play this guy play this guy? That guy starts playing.
Um, I felt like he was listening to the fans.
I really do feel like it was Listen to defense.
I don't think Mike Miller gives it down.
You know why Mike Miller doesn't give a **** because he has a plan.
Cultures have plans. They don't listen.
Yeah. I mean, it is what it is.
We're fans, right? Listen, here we don't We don't watch the film study with these guys.
We don't know what sort.
Of course, we don't know how these guys are feeling fizz out of me, and I'm not trying to issue him, you know? He has He hasn't been about the Knicks.
So I said women for that, cause a lot of guys have bad.
Once he left, he hasn't said one negative thing by the Knicks, so I saluted for that.
But the guy just was not a coach.
Really? What a plan.
And like you said, men like bruh clear out all the noise you play.
It's just I'm just like we mentioned with the directive.
I just said that cause I assume I don't know why he's not playing.
I hope he's not getting from somebody, you know.
I just couldn't see.
I can't see why.
I mean, if if they did so if he did something wrong, right? You know something small that's wrong.
You know, you you discipline him, and then you let it be in the past, if he really did some treacherous, you get him off the team.
You know, I'm saying that some people said they want to see torture where I'll give you this three million.
But I ruin your whole career by not allowing you to showcase yourself.
I'm thinking, if he gave you one of my friends like that, if you do, someone wanted does girlfriends.
Maybe, but I just I wait, I'm not saying that it happened.
Please, if they did that, you know, I'm saying, you know, like, really did something to spite him, you know? I mean, that would be the worst.
That would just be that would be able.
Hey, let me tell you something, though.
It is not out of the realm off.
People of a coach is doing stuff like that, you know? And I'm speaking just on a high school level right now.
My daughter left one school, went to another school, right? Uh, coach never played this school ever.
And we went to a school that had, you know, ah, team that it wasn't better.
But, you know, we went there for a specific developmental purposes because we had access to stuff at this school and we didn't have any other school.
Didn't matter. I didn't care that they will win it.
And as soon as she left, he scheduled a game to play against the school.
Never played against them, ever.
All of a sudden, he's scheduled a game because he knew that they were gonna win spite right out of spite.
So then another girl who she played a you ball for me, playing high school foot, that same coach.
She was going to leave that school and come play with us.
And he told her, If you leave as soon as you leave, I'm calling up the coast to schedule a game.
I told the A D A.
Like if he calls up, if she does leave, he calls them.
Do not scheduled game because he's doing this out of spite.
Like, how do you do this out of spite to Children? Got these Children to chill like two Children. These are Children.
How do you do that? Despite the Children? That's just terrible stuff, man.
So I mean coaches to stuff like that.
Bob. So much thought.
But I don't think Mike Milken's number.
He wasn't playing on the Fizzle, either.
Yeah, I think it's past the coach.
I think it's for he bad Mark, remember this guy? And these are rumors per se, but, you know, people saying since high school kind of been pamper, But all these guys and pampered, you know, maybe he maybe talk to Ah Mills is not what d.
Rose and I got on the Rose for talking about about the mix.
I still feel so, but he didn't say that Mills was trying to be like, You know, a man, you know, I'm Kwame hit and you know, if you know Derrick Rose being we use in fighting, it's anything.
But maybe he says some, like that's a true true it's probably Hey, I'm not playing Mills like what's happened? What? You guys went through me that Mills tried do some yo homeboy like some 90 sling and trees like Yo, get the f out of here like screw you, man like like in Curse about something some of those on because it just it just doesn't make sense.
The kid hasn't been You had a little knickknack injury, whatever was because, like he's a little gym not getting burned and almost to Gigi, Brad's a kiss is fired.
The only guy was probably in Lisbon there, literally looking for ways almost to not play Tray at times.
And it doesn't make sense.
Guys like Knox is struggling.
You want the court there? Times we really can't score.
Not saying Just put him in to score.
But obviously, he fits that role where you come off the bench and score, why not build around it? Maybe he could be your second unit.
Guy comes in, gives you instant offense.
You could build around.
You build the second ring around.
Now that guy's come up.
Not so have as much pressure to come score.
Guys could just rebound, play defense question to trail of tears of the go to guy.
I mean, it's just there's so many things you could do a trend I just okay out on it.
I don't know, man.
Um, I don't know.
It is I don't know.
We'll see what happens.
Out goes with Zo.
Did you get his own sneaker too, man? No, Nothing is own sneaker.
You gotta deal with Nike.
So he signed a deal with Nike.
It wasn't like a, um you know, his only any good. Nothing like that.
But he did sign a deal with Nike, so I mean, that's good for him.
You know, that's that's really good for him.
But, you know, for that deal to pan out for help, he's gotta play basketball, right? So that, you know, you got to do so you got it.
You can't have a commercial talk about your average 0.
2 points a game, and I look up at the sky, You know, you're you're sweating in.
I think you could do a commercial where You know what I'm saying? Like you're working your way, You know you're working.
You're trying to get back, you know, saying I guess you could do something like you're pulling splinters out your ass like in slow motion while I got you in practice, putting in the work, sweat dripping in a practice, sweat dripping.
You don't say they have some kind of slogan.
Like, you know, we got a hero here.
You know, no matter.
No matter where you are on the team, on work, you know, you got something like that, Some kind of, you know, some kind of saying some kind of marketing scheme.
You got a working at Jimmy's working hard boom boom.
That is like, Don't matter where coaches put me on working, working my way to the top. Whatever.
Something like that, no matter where. Coat.
Yeah, I shot 44% my rookie year, but I didn't get you burned my second year, I'm working my way to the tight.
I mean, that's something like that, you know, working my way to the top.
Whatever you're saying.
I mean, Nike to do it and it'll work if it wasn't.
People don't know.
Is there a way that only basketball people go home and get some, like, some time, work my way back from Britain? Hill trying work.
But even I think grandma's feline, uh, but do you know you can't have your bomb.
Amos with you, bro.
Didn't he sighs? Oh, he's not gay.
He was getting any burn when they signed him.
It was getting any burn when they signed on this.
I don't I mean, he could be in chances, guys, though.
And this He doesn't have to be in a commercial where it's about his sneaker.
It could just be in a Nike commercial overall.
About night. We'll see.
You gonna use him as a guy that he's getting dumped on by OMB or profitable, marketable Nike? Uh, star.
Like, this is Sabra.
Uh, you know, I always could be starting like that.
The village has a night contract, too.
Who break? Frank Got a night? He got a night Kansai International crowd.
At least he has.
You know that man, a friend really can't.
And you don't feel you're you know, he can't really don't remember when I didn't see you, Bilbo.
But it is such a man.
When he had a big you know, Dad Frank on a big Nike billboard was or whatever when he was a real mess of international Crowley, see, as France Trail has, but they didn't and broke who he is really restrict restraint from D.
Is a visit from Truth is from Arizona.
He's for he went in Arizona.
I think he was in Oklahoma City.
That's how he met Kevin Durant.
But he did go to school in Silver Spring.
Our guys, you got to do what the matter is.
You went to, um, Marshall's Christian.
And in some spring Maryland, um, just went to a few different schools.
I think he was playing for, like, a homeschool team one time.
Right Home swim, school.
So home scared, you know, 100.
You wouldn't be going right.
You know what, homes? No, I just I've never heard.
But I can imagine, I guess.
But I just so so like home school teams are like, you know, all players who were at home.
Yes, that is, somebody organizes a team, put the team together.
Sometimes the teams could be real powerful.
Sometimes they could be really terrible.
Okay, Play for home school wearing, uh, Oklahoma.
Oklahoma was the home school team that I think you make the Montrose Christian.
And then he went to ah place in Las Vegas meeting with their zone.
Okay, I just see a guy we talked about. Not so the time.
I just don't see that trepidation, that shyness or whatever with with career.
And I think you've built around that last year was really no structure, nothing.
And I think you could benefit.
I know it's tough to see a bit.
At least I've seen.
And I know you guys have seen other people have seen it that he's past.
He's not being as selfish as you.
Narrow focus narrowly focus as he was last year, and it just we complain about tree here, let me about Knox.
Some of things become frame up with Knox I don't see in tree here and obviously played two different positions.
Noxon 69 or whatever succeed in whatever he is.
Tree a six mile move the combo guard role.
But I just, uh I mean, you know, to two different guys to different positions, two different ages to I mean huh? So I mean, Zoe's like, 23 years old, you know, a little bit older, you know, we'll see what happens to our man.
We'll see what happens to a big shout out to the next fix.
You said traer delivered popcorn night.
Just do it. Oh, that's corny.
Wait, Missile that made What's gonna happen, baby Dotson, Uh, What's gonna happen to Damian Dotson? Right.
Um what something's gonna happen to dami doesn't I don't know.
He might be gone.
I think they might re signed bullet Man, because the guy cut the guy.
We were talking about some events.
I think somebody said Who's Mark said it.
Um, you know, I will look into getting a guy like Malik Beasley from the Nuggets.
Um, and I think what Dotson I something is a good system system guard.
I think he should be come off the bench.
That wanna first options at the two position come off the bench, but with the way book is plan? Um, well, he's just doing a lot more dots is what, 25 right now.
So, in terms of development, you know, this is probably peak dots, and I do like dots on the ball to you can dribble, drive and stuff, but we'll give your son a little bit more than in right now.
Um, and he probably would have been better for the future.
Now you know, I get this all goes I have you dropped a guy like Edwards at the two.
You pushed Arjun to the three.
You have to come off the bench.
You know you stopped.
Traer is a lot of Jim of guards that kind of, you know, up in the air with us.
You know, let me make a probable from dodgy.
Probably pick up somebody a little better more efficient than Dotson.
Oh, hold up one second c.
This is perfect.
He said patience is key.
That should be the night. Slogan for tree.
You're talking about You're saying you're so many gym and get this work in sweat dripping, you know, saying and then it just comes across the screen.
Patience is key.
Uh, yeah, and I guess traded.
I hope you still keep autumn posters and autumn shirts saying that Just say I'm just saying like, Nike, Final night.
He could find a way to thio.
What do you think? You remember? You remember the trail spreewell right? And he had what was the and one we had.
And one day it was It was an one right after he choked out PJ Carlesimo.
So? So it was the same, but the one.
I don't remember what it's saying was for, but, you know, they had him on the screen getting his hair braided.
And they had some whatever form, you know, something.
Some comeback slogan or whatever they find a way to market all it is I put my hand on.
Yeah, I know about that life.
Like I don't like What do you What would you say for the chose fear? Like, bro, you call. You choked out.
Your coach is not a redemption story for you.
This is a discipline thing, bro.
Like saying. But they had.
But they had the commercial.
Yeah, they had a commercial.
You remember that? I don't remember the trust viral commercial, Isaac.
I don't I'm trying.
I'm trying to think, and I use them in my line of stupid commercials.
Man, I remember the commercial with the petty commercials.
I got up and one commercial came out in 1999.
The American dream.
That was an empty commercial.
His thing was called American Thing.
This? Yeah, this is it.
Listen, todo play for you Beauty All star people say America's worst nightmare.
That is left is a lack ist mit.
Get that you get these.
It was worried that was terrible of the German worker's nightmare.
I see America's nightmare and the commercial like if you look at you, look it up on YouTube, you know, saying I didn't want and want to try to take my commercials.
I know they're not making any money from Walmart.
I wanna take my video, but it is getting his hair braided using have his hand out the other half getting braided, you know, Saying say they find a way to do anything.
American Dream with Charles Frere.
Well, that is that is not, like, inspiring.
I guess you American dream It could have market him cause he choked out just right. It was talented.
His helmet goes one Iwas He was mad, talented.
He didn't have no right hand.
He was talented.
Hey was explosive at parties when he was bald head and literal spiral angry looking patrols provoke Roll the trucks Sweet Rose He was part one of the people People were saying baby Jordan.
They were saying Latrell's people's one, those guys that he could be as he was that explosive, that he just had anger issues and his upbringing was tough.
I mean, he did cross over it.
All right? Handed crossovers? Nothing.
It was like the one of the only players in the N B a.
That was all right handed it couldn't use his left, but he was successful.
I don't I don't know.
You couldn't You couldn't go to the left with nothing.
21 million for three years is not enough to feed my daughter.
Writhe American Dream Keogh.
I'm pretty sure he has a Yeah, well, first of all, they they embarrassing with that awful commercial with, uh, don't be me The phone, the phone commercial with David Robinson.
Oh, and it showed the trails for you away like his daughters on my heart is like in somebody's for you like a fan's fries And he's like, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah right.
Well, he took you So listen e 161 in the chat said, How would you feel about trading for Zach Levine? Uh, Zach Levine is so annoying because he's so.
He's so talented.
What are the Bulls doing? Let me see the Bulls doing.
I don't know what the Bulls are doing.
I guess that kind of, you know, maybe some are 15 and 27.
I mean, but what is that? And what is that movie? Because he's talented, tell and he's improved since his Minnesota of his Minnesota days, where he was basically this high flyer, right? So this year he's shooting 39.
5% from the from three.
6% from the field, which is good.
Four assists, Um, 19.3 p.
I mean, what do you trade for him? Would I be asking King E? Uh, King? I came, but e 36 whatever your name is, no offense.
Would you rather have trade for Zach Lavine or try to give a big offer? The brain in Ingram? I'd rather try to get a big offer.
The Brandon Ingram.
I rather changes that.
Yeah, I'd rather take my chances dead and trading exactly be because I didn't get a new CO C.
Aren't they rebuild.
So they kind of to kind of trade from these are wanted in main piece.
I'm thinking, trying to get rid of you.
Probably give up a lot the whole lie versus we give up money that we're not gonna use.
Nothing we're not gonna use, But we probably don't have much to spend it on. Anyway.
I'd rather get on on Brendan Ingle.
What exactly is a solid Plato? I can't.
Yeah, um I I'd rather take my chances.
Oh, and wait for a Brandon Ingram on a guy that you know is going to can be your Ah, you know, I could be your foundational piece.
You know what I'm saying? Then just get Zach Levine.
You know, I'm not.
I mean, he's a good player.
I just don't feel like he's the guy that you say, Yeah, let's go get him.
Unless, you know, you have a bunch of pieces already and you say, OK, we get this guy could be a You know, he can add to our depth or whatever it is.
Um, I tried to make, you know, try to make a run at that Brandon Ingram.
That's what I would do this summer.
I tried to make a run at him.
Probably gonna not get him anyway.
And you know exactly mean isn't traded trade deadline.
If you were interested in him, you could probably still make that trade in the summer anyway, you know? So I take my chances with wait.
I could make the argument for Zach movie.
No, I mean, Zach Lavine at least shoots very well from the floor in could space the floor potentially for you.
Because one thing that we have is a bunch of inconsistent shooters, and that same exact Levine at least shoots close to 40% and is a threat to drive as well as shoot.
Um, he might do more benefit because Brandon Ingram isn't that good of a shooter, but he's a good playmaker.
You learn quickly, repetitive as Artemis.
You know, like artery part two for the team.
Uh, hey, he could be.
Who would you say it could be? R J, Part two.
Um, Brandon Ingram. Brennan.
England Could be our part, too, because he's a big guy like art.
Brandon Ingram Place guarded, sometimes floor form New Orleans.
He didn't Ellie as Well, um, and he's hard to guard because you, because of its size and stuff, and he bought it, does the ball handling a lot.
It's the same thing that RG does, but both of them don't shoot that well, so it might be repetitive from that standpoint.
What position would he put Brandon Ingram as the three? You don't replace Smart like that.
Yeah, you know, a very angry man.
It would be a greasy habia three.
Brandon Ingram is lightening up this year's shooting 47% from the field and shooting 40% from three killed.
What shooting, isn't it, huh? You said that that's his game.
Like that's his natural game, the the ball handle.
We like to be a primary or secondary ball handle, which is what are you? The thing with Brandon Ingram, though I feel for a guy was learning how to space out cause my Brennan Ingram coming into the league.
You know who's years of the Lakers who's always a mid range guy, right? Yeah, And that kind of what he was driving the be right to be his midrange guy, even a Luke Walton tried install more book that the Warriors kind of offense.
So you call my guy.
I think that you put him with RG I I think it worked because you have a guy who could space it out.
They could take, not take turn.
It sounds corny saying it, but you know, these guys who can switch back and forth between social FRG improves the shot between being that, you know, the type of guys to share the facilitation do you're not fit to slashing duties and the shooting duties? I guess I could see it working well together.
I don't see Brennan and being really like a cot, like a like a black hole on offense.
Right? And I'm not saying black Hole.
I'm just saying it might be repetitive, like do because right now, the Knicks need a lot of crap, right? Yeah.
Dude, isn't is it wise to invest in the same type players, the player that you already have? Or is it wise to go after a guy that I could see with Zach Levine for this team right now? If we change nothing at all, he could space the floor by being a good shooter.
He could drive to the basket at a higher clip than most of the guys except argue well along the lines of Artie.
But and also he could shoot and spot up.
As the ball is the primary distributor, he could give the ball to Zach Movie, and Zach Lavine could hit a shot You could just spot up in shoe Zach Lavine, component.
Pick off that same past and drive the book.
Drive to the basket Anything. You know.
Another thing that with the artsy thing and Ingram and my argument for Ingram is that Ingram driving to the basket because he's becoming that much more of a deadly score.
Just shooting. Just slash to the basket.
You can also dribble, drive, pass, right.
So you remember how you said, How could I let it did with the Toronto Raptors last year? But he would dribble driving and, like, dish adopted like Van Fleet.
That's the same thing he could do with a guy who basically attacks is we will have a guy that can shoot that are even more stupid, R J has to learn.
Is learning how to.
I'm not saying he's there yet, but also even forget about the shooting.
Right? You still have another guy, aren't you? Could be that guy where reading is coming off the wing person right now are deep near near the corner.
We all right? He's coming.
He's driving From there, you have it.
Arjun Barrett cutting from the other side to the basket.
You know, that's an easy Nazis.
Easy pass, but that's a very good pass, right? That's it.
And out of defence is a plate.
It's high, a lot honest.
So he could look at how the way we used to play right.
Dewey, wait was never really a good shooter, even when he did have the ball in his hands, even though he was a primary ball handler, even though he wasn't a point guard for say, he had a little a lot times that he would have had a ball.
He was moving off Paul.
He did just that.
Slash to the basket.
Get those cuts to the basket.
So I'm passing him. Was charmers.
Whoever what point guard yet, Parker Me use them when you just joking, but you get you get this many weekend for the simple fact that Brennan Ingram is becoming.
Whenever you have a guy who's that much of a not just multi, fastest score, big, deadly, where it's all right, we have to account for him.
So now the defense has as a cheat and kind of has to put another guy on him.
I leave somebody open that leaves somebody or a space on the floor open.
And if our Jake is like I said, training offense were, and I think that charges more say steam agnostic than, say, an ox.
But I said that if you have a scheme where he's moving off ball, making those cuts, backdoor cuts, cuts to the middle, stuff like that raise in motion and he could be that much more, he could be that much more deadly.
He could play with Ingram now.
Zach Lavine again is solid, you know, I just think that bringing him in because of bringing one his profile.
That helps out that his profile is still high from distracted and he started to live up to it.
I think teams will would be more fearful of them.
That's exactly does that mean is good too? But I just bring him I think is each never aside.
Didn't you know? For what it's worth, Zach Levine is averaging 24.
5 points this year.
Old 0.6 rebounds, four assists.
He's shooting 43 points, 6% from the field and 39.
Um oh, he's 24 years old.
He's about to turn 25 in March in injury prone.
Played 77 games of first year.
82 games of second year, 47 games. Third year.
24 games in 2017 18 63 games in 18 19.
And so far he's played all 41 games This year.
It was a C all right.
He does something. Yeah, something.
So he's a solid Millie.
I just just something me to train? No, I don't treat any trade something for assets in terms of, you know, guys who are getting older, we get, you know, it's actually signing right now, you know, Morris, but I just know NBC exactly.
Wien has this year he makes 19.5.
He makes 19.5 in 2021 2022.
5, is an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2022 right? Yeah, Yeah, yeah.
I'm about to get out of here. All right.
