one time like this when I got to work here, about 12 o'clock goes to keep up with some stuff going on.
I put my phone on vibrate.
Just update there, which I'll get into on that update from bleacher report.
Uh, just got a lot of things going on right now. Throughout sports.
It's got a list here that I've got made up.
Sorry. Get my My computer's still down.
Something is on the phone.
Got it propped up here.
Uh, just one talk some stuff about from MD 82 NFL Thio New scandal going on in baseball, the MLB and maybe talk a little bit about college burrow.
And once this decision, maybe it's for the NFL.
But I was going to jump right into hitting some of the headlines here.
Keeley has announced that he's gonna be retiring at the age of 28 a young man who is younger.
Me, which makes me feel like I'm getting old because these athletes short retire younger in the my age.
But I hate to see a guy who is still top of his game retired young.
He is 28 he said.
I think three concussions now three or four concussions.
It's just It's a sad time with these head traumas.
What's going on? But I'm glad that he's getting out with on his own terms.
And I've seen a lot of stuff talking about on get up.
How happy that in today's time, these players can play their passion that they love the relationship with the college football is a relationship longer some of these players ahead, but that's kind of cute had a word of that.
But, you know, I think they said that he made, like, $64 million over his time in the NFL, and now he's able to retire and be happy and be healthy still.
So kudos to him.
Wish we could get more years out of him.
Even in his media released that he did his little block, if you will.
I'm sorry to get all these notifications going on here.
Uh, he did his video of his announcement actually in the Panthers linebacker room filled room because he felt like that's where his whole career was.
That's that's where his passion was.
It was a very emotional event for him to share that he got very teary eyed of kudos, doing one of greatest linebackers playing all town, especially for generations.
But, you know, it makes you kind of wonder.
Now he retired at 28.
We had Andrew Luck, who retired at 29 this year.
Gronk retired at 30 and even the Brooke Baldwin retired at 30.
Is this gonna be a new thing that's going on with NFL? Especially with our superstars? Everyone else for that? I just name is a top to your player in the NFL.
Are we getting to where? Maybe these guys, they're getting paid so much now? I'm not saying they don't know.
So every don't get me wrong.
You're looking at the can't Hardly many, uh, can't see gas again.
I'm on the phone.
I appreciate your company gas.
I shows that this got six.
Live with me. Appreciate it.
I can't see the rest of appreciate you joining in.
Give me a following.
Give you follow on your page here. Gas.
If you're a guest in here, go ahead and sign up. Thio. SportsCastr.
There's nothing else just so we can actually see.
People who are on here can interact with this. Leave me a comment.
Let's talk a little bit on here.
Don't just be a guest, get you a profile.
You don't have to go live if you're afraid of being on the camera like I am.
But at least you can interact with a little bit better.
Would really push you.
It makes us feel better, too.
You can actually give rewards if we're doing a good job, which is really nice.
It makes you feel like a This is something I love to do is talk about sports, and somebody actually liked what I said.
I really try to encourage geology, at least create your profile.
That way, when you do join our life streams like this, we can actually see a name, an actual conversation with you.
But back to my point.
The NFL, these retired players are there.
At least our superstars retired.
Andrew Look, injury prone guy who still had a great career ahead of him, retires early.
I do think his is almost a little more of a mental perspective of almost with injury.
I don't feel like he was depressed and some of the things that I'm saying, but anyone a key clue with those concussions.
Gronk It's back bald one.
It's just different injuries going on there in Seattle.
Is this a new era for NFL, where we get the superstars for a few years where they could be high a ce faras what, they're obtaining goals and the records and then get on out while the money's still good and they're actually still Ah, full health is decent at anyways.
Is this something new that's gonna go on? I don't know.
I don't like it so much for that.
We don't get home to see what all they can do, but at the same time, if I'm a player, if I'm hurt, I'm probably going to get out as soon as I can as well.
So I can't blame them for to be healthy and able to play and still walk on your own terms with a full brain that's working with concussions and the different things.
I think it's CD.
That's all went on with that.
So again, I wish we could get more years, watch Keely Keely play, especially in Panthers organizations.
Uh, so what do we have next for the Panthers? Whether they're gonna be doing, they just hired, I think, within 24 hours Joe Brady from the L S U coaching staff who waas the offensive coordinator or the passing coaches? Well, a receiving his coach they've already hired him on.
I was just saying another case, talking about Kiki Leave returning.
But so what is the Panthers future now? You know, they still haven't determined if they're going to keep Cam Newton.
Is he gonna be healthy? You try to trading, do you try to move up the pigs to get you a quarterback? And some people? Perspective now is, since they just hired Joe Brady.
Do they try to move up to the number one pick and still from a Cincinnati, make some type of trade where they can actually go out and get a job, burrow and teeming back up with Joe Brady to try to carry on from what they were doing from what the Tigers with the Panthers, which sounds great for the Panthers.
You hate to see him because he's one of the greatest players at quarterback, and I actually think now how this era is going as far as quarterback, where you have a a running quarterback could really benefit Cam Newton.
Almost feel like he was about 67 years before the time that he should have been in the area in NBA NFL just because.
Could you imagine him in a minion? A Lamar Jackson top offense? That would be unreal.
The watch And we did get a glimpse of that back when he went to the Super Bowl.
But so Panthers definitely got a lot of choice. A lot of decisions.
I need to sit down and talk about and see what they want to do forward.
Ah, lot of the commentators saying yes for tastes.
They don't see how they could make the straight to move up if they had the assets.
The even Trade said that even if you were to trade your 1st 2nd 3rd down first round picks for the next three years to move up to get Burrow, you're still putting yourself so far and that that wouldn't work out best.
But he knows you think about it.
They got deejay Maur.
They've got Captain Ian Bagg Field if they get a healthy cam with this new offense.
If Joe Brady is the real deal, I mean he's only 30 years.
You've got giggly, just retired Younger than this.
Coaches came in.
Uh, he's just very young coach.
Yeah, I'm just trying.
I'm hesitant to say that he's gonna be a great coach because we don't really know what he's gonna be doing, because I think he straight out of college.
I can't remember where he was a college, but he helped coach there, and then he had a one year under the state's.
And then he went on to Ellis.
You, too, be their Google on offense coaching here.
So who knows what we get from him? It could be interesting.
They're talking about Cincinnati.
How can they pass up on Burrow and move down in the pics but get more picks for their future? I think it would be a bold move by Cincinnati.
Balance with you.
I'm kind of getting around in my notes here, but if you think about it Cincinnati Bengals right now that I think they only won two games last year.
So they're really hurting all around offensively and defensively.
They do have some nice fits and force offense running back, drawn a blank right now, mixing Joe mixing the great running back and Ross on the outside.
And I've got another I can't remember.
The young wide receiver had a great year.
This year I stop my head right now watching Derek Kettering highlights right now who averaged 29.
5 rushes at Chiefs.
Oh, more unless they're trying to predict that, uh, well, rushing times. I'm sorry.
Yeah, I think if they're gonna win that, he had definitely has to rush for close to 30 Russians for the game.
We do expect my points back to my broadcast, actually think, since that he could be tempted to trade their first round pick because, you know, yes, they're gonna need a quarterback adult that he's just getting old.
Yes, but you gotta move on and rebuild.
I understand that. I totally get that.
But right now, if you go back and graphical wreck right now for the bagels doesn't fix everything.
It may win you two or three more games, but I think you need to worry about your offensive line.
You need to worry about your defense in line, make improvements on your defense as well.
I mean, if you got one of the best running backs in the league right now, and you can't move the ball because your quarterback can you call back during halftime. The past.
I honestly would think it would be interesting to see them gamble a little bit, go against the grain bashing Brian, Appreciate you joining him, and I could be following.
Follow me, please.
What if the Bengals were to trade their first overall pig, get a couple of veteran lineman, even draft lineman a little bit later in the draft and get a solid line and then next year, still lose? Still think you're committed to tanking again, but then next year you go out and get Lawrence from Clemson because you're probably gonna be in the same boat where you have this draft where you're up in the top anyways.
So, I mean, that's not a bad idea to do their two solid fi yourself as faras the run gang excuse and then go out. Get your car back.
In a way, If you're in the top of top five picks, I don't think you're worried too much about.
Will there be talent their quarterback position next year? Because Lawrence is definitely one of the best quarterbacks they were playing sunshine from Remember the Titans.
But I think that would be an interesting game.
Well, to see if they would consider doing and, uh, uh, notification that even if you trade your pick, you could even go for two of this year and give him a year behind Dalton to give him time to just learn from from the second string learns back parts of it, but still trading that pig.
Get into it like 10 or 11 or so.
You could still try to get some linemen to help your offense a line because you're struggling there.
When I was growing up, a Zara's loving sports being from Kentucky, Tim Couch was the man that quarterback went drafted first overall for Cleveland Browns when the team basically come about and never had a chance.
I still think Tim catches a good quarterback, but in the NFL, he never had a lot of protecting.
He never had time to throw.
I think at one point there was a stat like he had 2.
3 seconds to throw the ball or to make a decision before he was touched.
You're supposed to at least get about 33 and 1/2 seconds to make your decision.
So they never took time to give a line for Tim.
Can actually never had a copy.
Professional season, basically our careers and it's something they keep doing each year on off.
There's so much my Stop Cleveland Brown sisters not getting that.
So I do think since that he doesn't need to put all on the table to look at just drafting their overall.
I do think it be interesting if they started playing a little bit.
Hey, maybe let's go and do.
An offensive line is first as a priority as well, to protect her young quarterback, who's gonna make some errors.
It's gonna take some dumb estates.
Is freshman mistakes.
Rookie mistakes, if you will.
Okay, let's see here.
I'm just rambling here.
Uh, cheese tightens their match upped this coming week for the championship, not the detection kit.
Titans is my teen.
Kentucky's boom is to see, so I'm liking the times I can't lie.
I act like I'm a true fan.
I'm a little bit of a bandwagon.
Derrick Henry I'm a Cowboys fan of heart, but watching the Titans come from the wild card, upset the Patriots and now even upset the Ravens standing, move onto Chiefs and would have run.
They've got heard.
One of the commentators this morning say that something has to go against the own soon because they have so many anomalies go in their directions.
Sometimes the football gods will always go for your way.
And maybe it's the Titans year.
Maybe this year.
They get to that one yard line at the goal line, and they actually score and win the Super Bowl.
But against the cheese, it's gonna be a tough matchup.
My home's is ungodly.
He could score with 10 seconds left in the game taken.
Just pull anything out of the hat.
He's a magician, so I do think the scheme for this, the Titans have to run the ball like I was talking about second ago.
They've got to run to the ball at least 25 plus times.
At least that's being very least the minimum.
I really think it needs to be around the thirties.
Derrick Henry is a man.
He's a mammal mammal, Manimal.
That's what I meant to say.
Hey, definitely, uh, I mean, if he rushes over 200 yards again this game, they have a chance in their defense.
I think it's like 15th in the NFL.
Their offenses like 20th but they are 12th of thinking.
That run game in the NFL is third, so there are running team only, uh, let's see here achieves their defense.
That definitely picked it up in the past.
In the past, I think three months they've actually come up by being the third best defense in the NFL and that time spirit, period.
But I've got to turn that TV off watching it, too.
So my heart wants to go with titans, but my head and the facts and the stats are laying into the chief's.
We can't allow that, But I do see that the UPS that could happen, the only way it happens.
If I win the coin toss, I say I want the ball first and I'm gonna run it the whole time and try to milk as much clock as I can and hope I score on the first possession because if they score first and get a stop, then they can run as much as they want and hopefully keep that lead other than my home's get the ball, you better hope there's only one second left and they gotta go 90 yards because he could still somehow managed to pull that off.
Now, the true match up that I think it's gonna be the best game for the quarterfinals, if you will, is the Packers and the 40 Niners in the NFC championship game.
Everything is leading to the 40 Niners Packers out there.
One of the miracle teams you think back not too far ago, I think two years ago, maybe even last year to Hail Mary plays by and Rodgers win gains two different games.
This team is like the miracle team that always got something that they could pull out to to get the victory even a couple years ago of should have been a pass interference.
I said It's probably four years going at Seattle and opening game, but 40 Niners has the second best running game in the NFL.
They're going to run the clock, run the ball a lot, so I got one of the best tight ends this year.
Kittles also, uh, Jimmy G is doing pretty good.
That someone I was doing in here and Jets may appreciate you joining me, and I'm gonna give you, follow me follow to appreciate it.
Uh, everything indicates 40 Niner should upset this, but you could never count the packs out there.
Just one of the teams that they don't lead in stats or points or fancy nous fainting.
But somehow they come out with the victory.
So I do think this could be a close game.
I think Packers do have a better chance of winning than the Titans just because it could be a shoot out.
And you never know what Aaron Rodgers you're going to get.
He could throw five touchdowns where he could throw five interceptions.
But you always bet on Aaron Rodgers.
Okay, that covered all my NFL.
Think, uh oh, uh, Larry Fitzgerald just said that he's gonna play for 2020.
That was the news pop across.
I'm excited about that.
He is wonderful.
All right, now let's see here.
What else I want to talk about, Uh, something going on now is on it.
Possibly be playing here soon.
John Williams in MBA course.
He's had his knee injury for so long, pelicans have held him out for a long time.
Trying to teach you how to walk again could be good.
Uh, Jay Williams talking about he is the people's champs that he will play no matter what this year because he wants to play for his team, not just for himself.
He'd rather sacrifice his own health to play.
I don't get that your NBA star you haven't played yet, and you're already get millions 100%.
If anything, go ahead and finish taking this year beyond a pitch count.
If you will play 15 minutes a game for at least a month and slow yourself into this as a za hefty guy coming down now, he's gonna jump out of a Jew Man, that's gonna be a lot of strain any and he's very athletic, so it's a lot of strain on his knees on this joint's ankles.
I think they need to slow him in this whole year and not even worry about this year and push for next year's.
You've got a lot of draft picks coming up if you keep this guy completely healthy and keep him happy, on your team.
Go ahead, shoot for next year.
But the only thing that makes it enticing to having played now and try to be competitive this year's you're only four games out.
That was four fingers.
Only two showed up only four games out of eighth place.
So there's actually a chance where they can.
The Pelicans can make the playoffs this year.
It's Island comes in and then make a healthy run.
But my only problem is that right now, and it's just about halfway through the season, Xilin has not played a game yet.
You've got Drew holiday there who is definitely a trade candidate to get you some more draft picks or get you some future players.
Why not just hold off? Survived the storm just a little bit longer and keep on going with this team and get younger and put everything around on that.
That is from the couch potato telling you have a coach.
Four games also in the n B.
A Jazz Right now.
Utah Jazz won last night.
I think they played a Brooklyn there on a team game win streak.
Bad bathroom, probably too weak to go about how they need to just empty their whole ship out and start off fresh.
But apparently they are proving me wrong.
That's why I work for a living and do this for fun.
But excited to watch the Omagh Eagles had, I think a big game last, not trying to look through my notes here.
I've rode him all over the place.
Let's just go on.
I'm going to switch my computer here.
Pull up another thing.
I want to talk about.
Some of the game's going on.
Not different matchups.
Way Got Boston Celtics playing Detroit Pistons tonight.
The course is 27 11 the Pistons or 14 27? They've actually been playing a little bit better here lately.
I didn't give the edge to sell to explain at home.
I just guess I would say 1 10 to 103 Celtics course Derrick Rose got suspended for throwing a peon in the stands.
I think it's suspended or not. Suspend. I'm sorry.
Dead girls having a great year.
Glad he's making a comeback.
Uh, Washington Wizards playing the Bulls tonight at eight o'clock, 13 26 Wizards.
The Bulls are 14 27.
John Wall was seen practicing against pretty good the highlights that I've seen of him, so hopefully he could be back soon.
Another Kentucky boy, Uh, honestly, that game could go either way.
It's so it's at Chicago.
But I do think Washington has the edge right now.
They've been playing a little bit better ball going on down.
I'm sure will go through these pretty quick.
There's few games tonight and I'm already up in 20 minutes and I want to talk a little bit of college with Kentucky Charlotte Nuggets.
I think the Nuggets went on that.
Jokers finally come into his own again.
Probably had 30 points the other night.
I think it was Orlando and the Lakers See here.
Orlando is 1921.
The Lakers was 33 7 Anthony Davis with hips but bone bruise.
I think, to get back in the practice said it was healing correctly.
No setbacks for anything.
But I do think Lakers or just a better team than the although Orlando start playing a lot better ball here recently.
I do like that team is Eastern Conference team that has almost 500 so playing a lot better.
They were waiting there and a full.
It's really re entered.
Let me catch my breath.
There has re set his career, Orlando.
And then, uh, and Gordon is playing a good to, uh, see here.
Do Next game, Brooklyn Nets versus 70 Sixers.
I give the edge to.
Actually, this one could be interesting because I think Carrie Irving will be playing in this game as well.
He came back and, uh, I had a great game.
I can't tell you how that's on over the stats on that.
I'm not sure what they were. Butts.
It's at 76 or so.
I'm actually going to go with the 70 Sixers.
Irvin hasn't played in too many games this year because of the injury, so I don't think he's gonna be as healthy or is in shape.
I guess it should stay in shape for this game after playing the other night.
Um, I'm going to say Pacers over Timberwolves, mostly blazers over Rockets because I hate the Rockets on DDE.
The game that I think will be the best tonight is San Antonio Spurs or Miami Heat.
Miami has lost a few games in a row, struggling a little bit sore is protecting the realm.
Seems people talking about who they need to try.
Thio make a trade for it to be a RIM protector.
I'm worried about making a report or making a trade with this thing.
I'm falling in love.
They have this really big bond going on, basically playing the villains.
Uh, Jimmy Butler was attitude hard.
He's got a hand energy injury, which makes sense with some of the shooting percentage being down this year.
It's never been out in the Open and that he really has this and injury, but, uh, interesting.
Interesting to look there because their matchup for their style play is a bam is the five on offense, but more Let's place the four on defense, so I don't see how I'm just trying to think as a coach, if you're trying to replace a rim protector drafty or trade for a rim protector on this thing, you're gonna lose someone there because there therefore on offense, is usually drawn a blank.
Right now, of course, is a three point threat.
I try to look it up, but I know I would pull it up in time.
I think you should play for Celtics.
Uh, come on load.
I live in eastern part of Kentucky.
So in the poverty area, where the Internet is very scarce, we actually have people lose my candy.
Who does not have access to the Internet if you believe that or not.
Yes, that is true.
It's a loading Air Force as it's loaded and taking this precious time gas.
I will go ahead and kind of talk about unwrapped sports a little bit at the end of my my name here.
MD Lawson 00 Capital US End.
That's for unwrapped sports network.
We've got a gas that just talk about sports all day long.
Basically, check us out on Twitter.
Check his cell on Instagram now under at Sports Network.
Anybody even in SportsCastr, that has the at the end of their name, you can actually look at it.
And in the search of SportsCastr, pull up all the gas associated with thunder at Sports Leonard suit.
Is that Sorry? How far is the stretch forth? But check this out.
We've got a web pages.
Well, where we poster articles.
We ride a lot of what we're doing now, SportsCastr.
But the chickens all out.
We've got betting site or a organization off just dedicated to betting NFL.
Especially with the Connor McGregor fight coming up.
Check that out. Give him a look. Video.
Is that I've got my guy that was talking about I don't know who you trade for me.
Do you get rid of bam who's been like a most improved player this year and lose that and get a big man, just foreign protector.
But then you also gonna lose your defense Coast.
Leonard cannot guard the Ford as well as bam Bam will guard basically all bacon rolls.
He is heading the pig and switching on it.
And that's something that a lot of NBA players don't have a big man. So bam.
I think it's an X factor to that chain because he Congar just about anyone.
And that's why if he do, you make a trade.
And if you do back to trade, who do you get? You know, because you're gonna everything's got a void.
I've got one thing.
It's going to hurt him, and theirs is the rim protector.
But I'm, I think, can do it, but he is more versatile as garden, even guards.
So Leonard has to be the five.
So Miami, he's RIM protector.
Is there big man at the stretch? Four, if you will.
So it's gonna be hard for them to pull up to somebody.
And they didn't get to guard, be a rim protector and still be a three point threat.
There we go. Now I've got it out.
The news that I think is very interesting.
I'll think you, Amber, you just retweeted tweet that I'm love right now. Appreciate it.
Uh, Amber, She covers the thunders games.
Check her out on the SportsCastr as well.
She again us end.
I can't remember what all their handle is, but she does cover the thunder.
She just started joined and probably last week.
Does a good job down there.
Alex Cora just has been fired from the Boston Red Sox in this cheating scandal.
Also just course from science deal and everyone knows that I'm gonna turn this back on as they talk about a little bit.
They part ways, mutually agreement, part ways.
Astros fire the g.
C. You're fired. General manager.
What? I think is interesting about this is they talked with C.
Sabathia just a little bit saying how he feels that he got cheated out of basically a World Series ring because, I think in 2017 the Astros beat them out. Hope women.
That's I'm trying to think are the Astros and and then Alex Cora, who was GM there and then went on to lead the Red Sox World Series last year.
So here's what I'm interested in one cc making this comment, Uh, some contracts, in my opinion or knowledge, actually has bonuses.
If you win the World Series, you get so much money or if you win so many games, you get this because some of these players actually have wall suit with his MLB scandal.
That's going on with this cheating so safe in C. C's contract.
What if it was? You get $5 million obviously makes way more than this.
$5 million should pitch this year.
If you were to win the World Series or taking the World Series will give me another $1 million bonus.
So would he have a lawsuit where he could sue Alex Cora or even the franchises.
Boston Sales, Boston, Boston Red Sox, where? Or even the Astros? I could sue them that money that they would have been guaranteed if they would have won, because I think once years there are like 3 to 1 games and went back and lost two of the games, or I lost three of the games went home.
So I'm kind of interested in this just to see what goes on and when I'm most hurt about this is my boy, Pete Rose says.
The Reds, the best hitter of all time, the most hits of all time was banned for a whole life when these cats cheated to win games and our only banned for a year or suspended for a year.
Pete Rose on Lee is suspended for a life for betting on games.
Yes, betting on games.
You can bet that you would lose and try Thio Blue Shade points that way.
But to my knowledge, Pete Rose on Leigh Bennett on his team to win, So he did nothing as faras in the game that was wrong, where he could tweak it to make more money because if you bet on yourself, you're going to everything you can to win.
So I think we need to really address this Pierrot rule, uh, ruling that he's banned for life.
He needs to be in the Hall of Fame.
Please tell me you all agrees.
Me, Pete Rose deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
And the scandal is kind of crap to have people cheating, stealing signs.
Even with the steroids.
All this stuff toe only be banned or suspended for done with that one.
All right, Also great news in college basketball.
If you live in Kentucky, you have to talk at least a little bit of college basketball, and you have to bad mouth Duke anytime you can.
Clinton with the big upset over Duke yesterday, I think it was at Clemson, beating them 1/3 drink team in the nation.
Always hear that.
Love it when it happens.
And also Kentucky tonight.
We play in South Carolina at South Carolina.
I think we're ring 12.
Threaten our 10th.
That's what somebody predicted this after this week.
Maybe, but excited about this game.
South Carolina is not a bad team.
They've got a decent record.
Sec play is always tough Zbig battle down low bumps and bruises gonna happen.
Somebody's gonna bleed at least once tonight.
He's been playing well for a great stat line.
Less game against Alabama really wanted Seymour from Whitley from Kentucky.
And also, I'm excited to see how Hagen's plays on defense.
Now that's his main thing.
I look for him to have at least four steals tonight, push the tempo on defense and pushes guys as far as that.
And so that really basically covers it. In a nutshell.
Guys. See, here's on jazz.
Alex Cora, Kentucky Return Borough clips In effect.
That's how good I am.
Appreciate you staying on here.
