Welcome in the Lakers Nation postgame show.
My name's Trevor Lane from Lakers nation dot com, and your Los Angeles Lakers just picked up a big win on the road against Dallas Mavericks, 1 29 to 1 14 LeBron James on Animal, a monster unstoppable, completely shredded.
The Dallas Mavericks cow.
Kuzma had a big night.
We're gonna talk all about it.
Some weird lineups that we saw because of foul trouble to the Lakers Biggs, Anthony Davis Also being out with that injury.
We'll talk all about that, plus, Rob Pelinka gets promoted by the Lakers and we get some news about just who they might be willing to trade some tons to talk about tonight.
Joining me tonight is you guys.
Chris Masters is out wrestling right now, so he's in the ring pump, probably pummeling some some poor fool that that's going up against him.
He's got him in the master lock right now, I'm sure, and Jazz King has some family in town, so he is not with us.
So it's just me, just me and all of you guys when you've taken all of your questions, all of your comments were gonna dive into it.
First thing I want to say, though, is what I was really impressed with with this Lakers team tonight against the Mavs is that they got the win.
But it was how they got the wind.
We haven't seen this before, and they haven't had to do this before, Okay? They haven't had to play small like that.
What happened if you missed the first half, are you missed? The opening minutes of the third quarter is the Lakers Biggs, Dwight Howard and bail me, JaVale McGee.
Joe Wightman Coward, if you will are combo center there.
I got a gun in foul trouble and some of them Yes.
Word some poor whistles.
And we saw that tonight There was the referees.
Had a rough night.
There's no question.
Okay, but, uh, the Lakers Biggs were in foul trouble.
Anthony Davis is out.
He missed the game due to injury.
OK, he's got that.
Hopefully he'll be back soon.
We don't know if he's going to be playing tomorrow night in o.
C yet or not will be trying to keep an eye on the post game comments and see what the thought is right now for eighties availability of sugar.
They're going to say they won't know until tomorrow or something to that effect.
But Anthony Davis sits out and then you lose.
Essentially JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard, who both had five fouls early in the third quarter.
The Lakers had to go small.
We haven't seen a lot of that from them.
Most games they've got at least one of 80 Dwight or JaVale on the floor at all times, you were rarely seen them play without at least one of those three out there.
Usually them going small means Anthony Davis's center.
So we haven't seen them go this small yet, really, for any serious length of time this season, and yet they had to do it tonight.
Jared Dudley got 20 minutes.
That's how small they were.
Jared Dudley got 20 minutes off the bench for the Lakers and played center for a pretty good part of it actually did fairly well.
He was playing good positional defense, even blocked a shot, made some nice plays at the rim.
He did find out there he was a decent stopgap, so it was.
It was a different way to win a game for the Lakers, and I guess that's what what's really impressive here was that they had to do something they've never had to do before.
And they still managed to get a win.
And part of that is yes.
LeBron James is amazing.
16 boards, seven assists, one steal, 14 and 25 shooting, three threes, 45 fromthe line.
I mean, you know, he just He was the driving force for the team, which he is most nights.
But still, it was like tonight.
He knew no Anthony Davis.
He needed to turn it up and they got the job done.
Also got to give a shout out to Cow Koosman.
Nine of 22 shooting and shooting cooled off quite a bit in the second half, believing only in five points in the second half.
But 26 points overall.
Six boards we talked about.
What does Koosman need to bring in order to in order for the Lakers to get a win? And there was something I talked about with Alan sleep, huh? On our podcast the other night, the Lakers nation podcast.
You guys can subscribe to that on on Apple podcast.
Goalless Knew it was a lot of fun, Alan.
I broke down everything but cow Koosman.
Look, we said he needed to have big night.
He needed to be north of 20 points in order for the Lakers to get a win.
And here he was, 26 points.
Great opportunity for him to step in and shine with Anthony Davis being out.
And he did just that.
So credit to cow Kuzma.
All right, guys, I'm gonna be taken Some of your your questions and comments here as we go through.
You guys have, Ah, all kinds of a man.
That comments are flying in already.
Thank you guys, for joining me here on this, uh, this Friday evening, the Lakers do pick up a way that's now a seven game win streak for them.
So gotta love that.
Carol's Urbano from Facebook said she loved watching the game.
I was frustrated with this game, to be honest.
Well, I was watching this one, and it was the officiating that was getting to me a little bit.
I kept I felt like the Mavs.
We're going to go on that big run, especially when the when Dwight in jail picked up their fifth fouls, I thought, Oh, here we go.
And sure enough, as soon as that happened, the Mavs went on a real quick, like 10 to run something to that effect.
They were just getting to the rim every single time.
And even when they missed, they were getting their own boards because the Lakers had no size in there and we all thought, Oh, here we go.
And then next thing you know, Vogel throws out.
I mean, I called it my weirdo Tiny bench cruise line up.
It was It was Rondo and KCP and Alex Caruso.
Danny Green was the power forward, and then your center was Jared Dudley.
And I don't know if that if that five man unit has spent any time together on the floor and they stopped the bleeding and in fact, they even score.
The Lakers were were only up 10 when LeBron went out, that that unit came in and they were up three at the end of the quarter.
So that unit being a plus three I'm sorry they were up 13 so that, you know, being a plus three.
I thought that was huge to finish off the quarter that way, to stop the Mavs mo mentum.
They had all the momentum that tiny group was able to get in.
Stop the momentum that the maps had and change the entire tone.
I think that three and 1/2 minutes stint there by that group may have determined the outcome of this game, and they did a tremendous job, so so credit to them.
Those were some big, big minutes there.
I think as soon as that happened, the Mavs were a little bit deflated going into the fourth, and then LeBron hits a Big three to start the fourth.
They got another bucket right after.
I think that pretty much took the wind out of the map sales right there.
Mel, a condo from Facebook's, is terrible officiating.
Howard McGhee, five fouls each look.
Part of that is bad officiating.
Part of that, that was the maps to the man's were way more floppy than I thought they were going to be down sick.
**** Sik is a tremendous player, but he has got all the tricks in terms of getting whistles.
He's got the rip through movies.
Got the verbal flop.
A serious McGee had, ah, fourth foul.
He was doing everything he could flop and flail and all that to get 1/5 foul on jail.
And ultimately, Dwight Powell got it.
The replay showed.
Grab him a little bit, but how also flailed And it was a flop.
But look, the Lakers.
Biggs also made some dumb decisions on someplace where they fouled when they clearly shouldn't have.
Hopefully, that's something they clean up tomorrow writing.
It's Oklahoma City, so I can't put it all on the reps.
But it was a weird night.
I mean, look, Frank Vogel got a technical.
Rick Carlisle got kicked out of the game.
Both sides were pretty frustrated with this one.
Micronesia is from Facebook, says Luca, brought up the whole comedian tonight.
Uh, no chance for Lincoln.
Yeah, if you didn't see it.
Luca Dog, sick at one point, was so frustrated with his performance at the free throw line, which, let's see how he finished up.
There was not shooting free throws one, and that 8 to 13 at the free throw line that he ripped his shirt Hulk Hogan style, and I don't think he meant to.
I think he was just frustrated.
He's doing this and his shirt ripped that he kind of looked at and went.
Oh, uh, fortunately, didn't rip all the way.
He was able to fix it 1/2 time, but still, it was a funny moment from this game here.
Uh, uh, Gillette in icy TA said from coming in from YouTube said Congrats to Rob Poulenc A.
Yeah, we're gonna talk all about that.
If you haven't heard yet.
The news is the Lakers have decided to promote Rob Linka.
He is now vice president Khama basketball operations.
I don't know why they didn't call the vice president of basketball operations.
I don't know if, like, it's Ah, it's like the office.
If it's like assistant to the regional manager versus assistant regional manager, maybe maybe it's something like that.
I don't know, but but in a regardless, Rob Blake is now the vice president, basketball operations and, officially, the GM of the team.
And so he's been given a bit of a promotion.
Okay, so now we know he's contract had been re up.
It's got another five years now.
So why do that? Why do that now? Well, it's a vote of confidence.
It's rewarding him a bit for putting this team together, right? I mean, you got LeBron, you've got Anthony Davis.
You've got all these pieces that he added, He did a nice job look, and you could say, Maybe should have spent so much time going after Kawai.
But I look at it more as that was a risk you had to take and then credit to Rob Pelinka for having the fallback for having the backup plans that he did of getting into Marcus Cousins, getting Danny Green, getting all these other pieces that they brought in, right? Getting those guys in for the Lakers.
You're Avery Bradleys and all them Alex Caruso bringing him back.
That's where that's where the brilliance of a general manager has shown, right? Not so much that Hey, he wasn't able to get quite a sign because yeah, that's unfortunate.
But you never knew for sure if you were gonna get him, but you had to try.
But the fact that he had the foresight to say, Hey, maybe we won't get him.
And if we don't, I wanna have all these guys ready to go.
And that's why as soon as co I made his decision, it was boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
Almost immediately, Danny Greene signed on Quinn.
Cook signed on that DeMarcus cousins, Which, by the way, that was a great signing.
Great signing for DeMarcus Cousins.
5 million for that.
That kind of talent.
It's unfortunate he got hurt, but then he pivots to a Dwight Howard.
Rob Klink has done some really good things, so credit to him.
And this is a reward for him doing those things.
But it also sends the message around the league.
Rob Pelinka is our guy.
He's here to stay.
This isn't a hey, you know, he needs to make the right moves type thing or else he could be on the hot seat.
No, Rob Pelinka is now set in this spot, and you have to think going into trade negotiations which are gonna pick up of these next few weeks.
This gives him kind of that little bit of room, right? Other teams can't pressure him.
They can't say they can't try toe hold his feet to the fire and say, Look, you know, you need to build a winner right now and ask for more assets at all that this shows that the Lakers are fully committed to Rob Pelinka.
So that's pretty important again.
Congrats to rob Linka and we'll see what he does here, some big and important weeks coming up with the trade deadline approaching on February 6th.
So that's coming up fast.
Uh, let's see here.
Gonna dive into guys, by the way, because it's just me.
I'm gonna be going into a lot of your comments today.
So that's the one benefit of not having not having the boys here with me.
So we get to get into, Ah, a lot of your comments here.
Mellow John Doe from Facebook's that Trevor.
I have second thoughts on trading coups.
Maybe just get an additional a pick and roll type.
Point guard Darren Collison is what we need.
What do you think we'll see? So that's the other way to look at this.
We've all been talking about Cruz's mo trades, and that's been in the news.
It's been said that a lot of people have been talking about not just Lakers people, but around the league, right.
Kyle Kuzma has been one of those names that's been mentioned.
A lot of trade talks.
We heard that Rob Pelinka actually was the guy who brought him up, brought up Cosma to the King's.
It wasn't the king's calling about about Kuzma.
So and that's a key distinction that tells me that Rob Pelinka is searching around the league seeing what he confined.
Okay, this performance tonight was a really nice one from Kyle Kuzma.
Maybe it means they hang on to him.
I don't think it necessarily moves the needle that much in either direction.
But, uh, there is, ah, world out there like not finding a Kyle Kuzma move isn't the worst thing ever, right? Like if the Lakers find the right trade great, if they find a trade that where they send out Cosmo and they get a piece that they think is gonna help them contend for a championship right now, Wonderful.
But if that tree doesn't materialize, they don't need a panic because there's a decent chance that keeping Kozma and just using the buyout market or making some peripheral moves.
If you can land a point guard, like it Darren Collison, where you could get for free and free agency if he picks the Lakers and they picked him and all that, If you get a Darren Collison and then you can get a wing defender, whether that's Andre, would L.
A or Jeff Green or someone else on the bio market or you go and you make a smaller trade, right? Maybe you don't go after like a Robert Covington who's gonna cost you a lot of assets.
Maybe you go find somebody else, somebody a little bit less expensive.
They can play a little bit of wing defence.
Be good, right? It's possible that Kuzma plus those guys contributes more than then whoever they would get by trading Koosman.
That's that's not That's not a result.
Okay, so we have to keep that in mind.
No, Cosmo trade doesn't mean the Lakers made the wrong move or anything like that.
And if they do trade him, hopefully they're able to get a ton for okay, we'll see what happens.
But again, there is a world out there where keeping Kozma is the right decision.
In fact, that's probably the most likely thing.
The most likely occurrence here is that they keep Koosman, despite all the talking, everything.
And we've talked about it.
It's because trading him, it's so difficult.
He only makes 1.
So logistically, making it work is gonna be really tough.
But we'll see what we're up.
Lincoln can get done.
Chris McCoy Don't understand why Cook can't get any minutes.
This is from Facebook.
He's a better score than Rondo.
What do you have to lose By giving him an opportunity to see what he can bring to this team? Look, I agree.
I I thought Rondo did.
Okay, Okay, I I thought Rondo did actually thought Rhino did a pretty nice job tonight, All right.
Not everything was perfect, but it's not going to be.
What I really liked that I saw Rondo do is I saw that small ball you come in at the end of the third quarter and the thought popped into my head.
The rhythm that the maps had, What the Lakers need to do is they need to get to the line.
They need to find ways to draw fouls, get into the paint, get themselves to the free throw line that's going to generate some cheap points for them and break the Mavs rhythm, allowed them to kind of catch their breath and get things set.
And that's exactly what Rondo did.
And that's what a veteran conducive for you having a guy out there that knows not just how to play the game, but knows the game within the game, the rhythm, all of that.
Rondo did a really nice job there of getting himself into India man's players and getting to the free throw line, and that's not typically a thing that random does.
So you know that he understood that.
That was an important part of the game at that moment, and he made it happen.
And again, I've been a guy that's been criticizing Rondo a lot when he's been missing his outside shots.
So don't get me wrong.
I'm not saying Rondo's great.
I'm not saying that.
You just keep Quinn Cook on the bench. I agree.
I think that you should give Quinn Cook a little bit more of a look.
Hopefully, he'll get some more minutes here and there.
I think It's too soon just to write him off completely.
Uh, but again, credit Toronto.
I think he did find tonight.
I think he made some big plays at the right moment.
I wouldn't have had him out there.
Muchas Frank Vogel did.
I would have put some more minutes onto Danny Green, but it worked.
And like I said, Rondo made some nice place.
So let's give credit where credit is due.
Mike Hernandez from Facebook.
Please keep Kuzma.
He has that mob mentality.
Well, that's, that's for sure, right? That's one of the benefits of Cuba.
He does not shy away from the moment.
Doesn't get fazed by it.
There's some guys who would some guys would get.
Get bothered by the moment for Cosmo, though.
Say, Hey, you got to step in for Anthony Davis, Okay? It does not bother him one bit, and that's an important thing when you're put on the purple and gold in playing for the Los Angeles Lakers because we all know the microscope that they are under at all times.
Rams asking, Where's Chris Masters? Chris Masters most likely has someone in a master lock right now.
No, he is he is on a wrestling trip, so he will be back soon, though.
Guys, don't don't worry, we will have Chris back on again.
We mentioned that at the beginning of the show, and Jazz also will be back as well.
Just right now has some family in town.
So he's He's taking a night off to deal to, ah, to spend it with family and uh, certainly glad that he's getting a chance to do that.
Uh, Sean Lamont, Pharaoh from Facebook.
Cosmo's gone 100%.
So a lot of people, as soon as Rumpel Icka got that promotion, they thought, Okay, this is the This is the blank cheque here now for Rob to go ahead and make that Kyle Kuzma trade.
That's possible, but we'll see.
Like I said, it's still logistically gonna be really difficult for them to make that trade work.
Any kind of trade work with Kyle Kuzma just because I mean, look, you can trade.
You could make a trade work, but to get back what they need, that's gonna be difficult.
Great, like, let's say you suddenly decided you want trade for Andre.
A Will he makes 17 million. Koosman makes 1.9.
That's a huge, huge gap to try to close.
Ah, lot of these guys that they would go after that would help them right now.
Veterans who have been in the league long enough to not be on rookie contracts are gonna be tough.
It's gonna be tough to make the money work. Great.
But again, again, Vogel, or I'm sorry, Pelinka.
He's done a good job.
And if he can pull something off here, I'm gonna be even more impressed.
Andres Montoya from YouTube joining in Said Trevor.
I thought Vogel Vogel did a great job tonight and coming up with the right play plan in spite of not having a d.
Uh, Andres, I think that's a great point.
I agree with you.
Yeah, I think Vogel did come up with a really good game plan.
And what was that game plan you might ask? Well, it was to push down on the gas pedal to pick up the pace.
You no longer have that dominant presence inside.
You know, javale McGee, Who's your center is pretty good at rim running.
So having him out there isn't a total loss.
If you push the pace, he can still run, and he could still get buckets in transition.
So Vogel said, Look, let's go, Let's get out there and run.
We're gonna be a little bit smaller, but we're also be a little bit more, a little bit quicker.
We're gonna be able to spread the floor with Karl Kruse Mount there, shooting threes.
And they did. And it worked.
The Lakers jumped all over the map from the get go and ah, yeah, look, it actually allowed the Lakers to match up with the maps a bit more, okay, And, yeah, a D would have feasted on these guys.
One of the things about the map is they have no wings.
They have no wings.
That came guard, LeBron.
And this is one of the reasons why I keep saying the Lakers need another wing defender because they need somebody who can guard your Kawai.
Leonard's in your Paul George's and people like that.
The Mavs are equally starved for a wing defender.
That's why they've been linked to under Iguodala because they have no one who can defend LEBRON or choir any of those guys and and we saw that play out in this game, too.
But look, the Lakers going fast the way they did, it really worked out for them. They did really well.
Evans, juice from Facebook, said.
Ku's is cheap, so even if he sucks, sometimes we can.
We can live with that.
The guy who needs to be traded is green.
He's an over pay.
So Green is making 15 million.
Well, actually, just shy of 15 million in just a little bit over 15 million.
You got two years, 30 million for the next, uh, for the next two seasons of beer.
So the rest of this season and next tonight Danny Green gave you three points, one of four shooting, one of two from deep, three boards to assist.
Now one block along with that. No turnovers.
It wasn't in Danny Green game.
He's gonna have big moments.
We've talked about this on here.
He's gonna have big moments where ah, he's gonna hit some big shots of the playoffs.
Tonight wasn't that night.
I'd like to see him get a few more minutes, but I totally understand if people are frustrated with the fact that he's making 15 million, frankly, KCP at eight million who we thought was an over pay last summer.
A lot of people did.
Anyway, Eyes probably has probably proven to be more valuable than Danny Greene has this season so far.
Okay, but But again, I think Danny Green can still be a key contributor.
But you know what? Here's the thing, and this is what we need to talk about.
Um, the uh Tony again goalie of the Los Angeles Times, had a source close to Rob Glinka, who knows his thinking.
Um, tell her that Rob is prepared to trade anyone.
Anyone not named named LeBron James or Anthony Davis is on the block, not like they're trying to ship them out.
But if the right move comes along, that will allow the Lakers to be in a better position, win a championship, he will consider trading anyone.
And that's what we've been saying for a while.
We've said that should be That should be the attitude of the Lakers.
They will trade anyone except for LeBron or a D.
If it will get them closer to a championship.
Now, they have to be careful with chemistry and things like that.
But that's where the if it gets you closer to a championship thing comes in right.
Like if you're going to trade away, Ah, guy that your locker room loves Okay, if you're gonna trade away someone who is you think is the linchpin of the team, a guy who holds things together.
Maybe it's like an Alex Caruso or someone like that, Right? Um, if you're gonna consider trading that person away for someone who maybe is just marginally better, that's where you say Okay, well, it would disrupt our team chemistry.
So, overall, this probably doesn't help us, even though technically, we would have a little bit more skill.
So the Lakers have some leeway here.
The word is just out there, though, that if there's a move that will help them contend for a championship, they will consider trading anyone that's not LeBron Brady.
And again, that should be how it is.
Which means that in theory they would play, they would trade Danny Green.
They would trade Avery Bradley.
They would trade Alex Caruso.
They would trade.
Rondo has a no trade clause or de facto Nutri close.
They would trade JaVale or Dwight or whoever.
If the right deal came along, that doesn't mean it's going to, but the Lakers are open to it.
So I think it's gonna be really interesting to see how things play out here as we head into Ah, as we head into the trade deadline, which is coming up on again on February 6th.
I'm checking in here just to see if there's any news coming on about, um about Casey Peas injury or Anthony Davis, particularly playing tomorrow or anything like that.
So I want to get a quick look at that year on Twitter.
Not seeing a whole lot.
Yeah, the, uh, the usual suspect started putting out a whole lot just yet, So perhaps they haven't gotten a chance to ask those questions yet in the locker room.
Let me check in on a few more places here.
Yeah, I'm not seeing anything there yet, so we'll keep an eye on it, though, and see what's gonna happen with with KCP.
These KCP did come up limping on one play there in the fourth quarter.
Hopefully, he's okay, and I do want to find out two of Anthony Davis is going to be active or not tomorrow.
Although I don't think we'll really know right now.
I think we'll probably find that out more tomorrow before the game.
I'm seeing people on you're asking.
Is KCP okay? I think he is.
We saw him give that little burst right after the injury.
He was limping, but then he had to stay in.
The Lakers only had one time out, and he had that one play where? You know, there was a 50 50 ball and he lunged forward and grabbed it, and he took a shot.
He was careful in how he landed when you shot the runner.
He didn't land on his bad leg, but still, I based on that, I think he's okay.
Somebody was saying I was hoping to see th t play Taelon Horton Tucker? Yeah, he did not get.
Do not get in there.
I believe he's down with South Bay Lakers, though, so that's probably why Costas on Coop.
Oh, did get two minutes out there.
Quinn Cook and Troy Daniels both got three minutes.
Hey, let me mention something here before I forget.
By the way, guys, um, we've got something coming up.
So Lakers versus Warriors is happening at the Chief center on Saturday, February 8.
Okay, February 8.
That's taken place, and we're doing something with a company called Fan Cation.
On what fan cation does is they organized these big trips, where they bring all Lakers fans and for this trip anyway, it's all Lakers fans that are going to go up north.
They're gonna go to Golden State and, Ah, and they're gonna go to the new Chase Center and go out there and support our Los Angeles Lakers.
And I am super super excited about it.
I will be there.
So I'm gonna go with you guys.
If you guys want to sign up to go, I'm gonna right now post the link in our in our chat.
If you don't get the get the language, I believe on on periscope up.
Yep, it's not letting me post it.
So let me try again here and see if I can post it in the chat.
No, it's not okay.
We'll put the leak out on my on my Twitter account in just a bit here, but it's fan cation dot com slash Lakers Dash vs Dash Warriors Okay, I wasn't having technical difficulties.
I couldjust Popes that for you guys, but again fan cation dot com slash Lakers Dash V s dash Warriors go there and you could see the details for the trip.
It's gonna be a ton of fun.
They were all going to go up there together.
I'll be right there with you guys and we'll go up.
We'll check out the Lakers taking on the Warriors of Brand New Chase Center.
It's gonna be an absolute blast.
You even get to go down there on the floor during shoot around and and, uh, and go check it out.
It's It's a ton of fun, guys.
One of things that I love when I get to go to games, by the way, is just watching the players shoot and how rarely they miss.
It's it's amazing when they don't have anybody defending them.
These guys just they don't miss.
So come check it out.
Come join, check out the ah, the trip.
It's gonna be a lot of fun, and and I can't wait to go.
We're also gonna have a J from Lakers Nation who does all of our video stuff.
Um, it's It's really gonna be a blast.
So come join us for that trip.
And, uh, yeah, it's gonna be a good one.
I'm gonna dive in a few more.
Your questions here, young years from YouTube says Boogie will definitely come back this season.
Okay, so, book he's going to come back this season.
Well, look, if he does great, but I like I was saying, without sleep with the other night, I don't know if you can expect anything out of him, right? Like if he gives you something cool, I'm just gonna be pleasantly surprised.
I'm looking at this season has lost for DeMarcus cousins.
Yeah, we've heard the rumors that may be and come back around the playoffs, but if he does, what version of demarcus cousins are you getting at that point? He's not gonna be 100%.
He's gonna be super rusty.
I'm not expecting a lot out of him, Okay? If a miracle happens and he heals up even faster and he can actually get out there and get some rhythm going and he can provide something, I'll be over the moon that would be incredible will be great for the team, but I'm not expecting it, okay? And that's the way I think people should approach it.
Don't expect Marcus Cousins to come in like Prime Boogie Cousins out there and give the Lakers this boost another superstar out on the floor.
The likelihood of that happening is extremely slim.
Somebody's mentioned playoff Rondo and Playoff boogie.
I don't think it's gonna happen.
Uh, tomorrow, Swales from YouTube says.
We keep overreacting to small sample size is.
Remember when most fans were burning KCP jerseys? Yeah, that's that's true.
There's some truth to that.
We can be kind of reactionary, right where Player has a few bad games.
The next thing you know, there were grabbing our torches and pitchforks and we're ready to ship amount.
You could say that about Kyle Kuzma.
You can say, Look, this guy's better than the way he's played in recent games.
Maybe shouldn't trade him.
You could say Rondo.
Maybe he can provide something.
He's maybe a better shooter than what he's done over the last 13 games or so where he shot Ah, man.
I mean, he's barely into double digits in terms of percentages, but from deep.
So maybe Rondo will be a little bit better than what we've seen.
So there's some truth to that.
But the same time, it's just what do you believe? Do you believe Kyle Kuzma is better than what we've seen so far this season? Do you believe Rondo is better than what we've seen over the last few weeks? Danny Green.
Do you think he's going to be better? It's not so much a question right now because of what's happened has happened of I want to trade him because he was so bad a month ago.
That doesn't matter so much.
The question is, what do you think he's going to do for you from here out? What do you think that player is going to do for you? More importantly, in the playoffs, that's what the Lakers need to figure out they need to decide is its decide.
Does the play up to this point informed them of what's gonna happen later on? Okay, Does a poor shooting from Rondo now mean that he's going to shoot poorly for the rest of the season? Or do we think he's a better shooter and eventually the percentages.
They're gonna come around because shots are gonna start dropping.
That's the decision brought Poulenc is gonna have to make.
Okay, that's what we have to take a look at, uh, for somebody coming Facebook.
I want to remind you, Trevor, when when Boogie is back, he'll have great games.
I really hope he does.
I'm thinking it's gonna happen next season.
I think it's gonna happen next season.
We'll see book you back.
And I really hope he's back in purple and gold next season.
I hope I'd like to see him out there on the floor.
Ah, you too hard mode.
Says when his eighties target return.
I don't know yet.
I'm I'm trying to keep an eye on Ah, Twitter here as we go.
But so far I haven't seen any news.
No scan back through here real quick and, uh, and see if there's anybody that's that's mentioned.
Winning Anthony Davis is coming up coming back, but But again, I I think most likely that when the 80 question gets brought up, they're going to say they're going to wait till tomorrow like they're not going to say tonight.
Oh, yeah, He's definitely playing tomorrow.
That was a rough all that he took.
It's gonna take him time to come back.
Okay? Trade Baptist.
What about Jeff Green is a pickup yet that would be a guy that you could look at If you can't get in Iguodala, you can't get like a markets Morris or Robert Covington.
Somebody like that Jeff Green has got You could look to bring in as a free agent.
Okay, so that's a That's a good one. Take a look out there.
Marvin Chavez from Facebook.
How about we bring Danny Green off the bench and start coups? So I don't know about that, Martin, because then you're talking about starting Kyle Kuzma as you're shooting guard like the Lakers got away with doing that with Brandon Ingram last season.
But I think he's a little bit more capable defending two's than Kyle Kuzma is.
So you'd be talking about a Lakers lineup.
Starting five of you would have Avery Bradley, Kyle Kuzma.
You have LeBron a D and JaVale now.
I mean, look, that's a massive line up.
There's no question that that lineup is huge, but Danny Green is a pretty good perimeter defender.
No, he hasn't been great.
Alex Caruso has been a better defender that Danny Green has.
But when you have Danny Green and Avery Bradley other together, they complement each other pretty well defensively.
And Danny Greene's length is part of that.
I just don't think I mean, Karl Kruse was mobile for a forward, But for a guard, I think it's asking too much to ask him to go play that guard position.
Maybe you can see that as like a death lineup where you've got Kuzma out there with that five.
Or maybe even have KCP instead of Avery Bradley or something like that.
But I don't think you start him at this point.
And that's really the challenge with Guzman is you look long term, you project out.
If the Lakers were keeping Anthony Davis and they're keeping LeBron James, you're basically committing to Kyle Crucible coming off the bench for the foreseeable future.
Because Cosmo is not.
He's not a too, and he's not a five and a TV is going to be the four and LeBron is gonna be the three.
He's gonna be the factor of point guard on offense.
Uh, where's the spot for Koosman.
So you got a bench for the foreseeable future.
Okay, first of all, is he okay with that? Could you maybe talk Anthony Davis into playing the five in order to get Koosman? And there is that worth it? So far? I think Jalen and Dwight have done a nice job playing a true center out there with a D.
I think that's been a good lineup for the Lakers, but what can you do there? And so then the challenge becomes.
How much money do you want to commit to Kuzma? If he's just always going to be your six man, what if he does blow up? Then is it better to try to trade him, knowing that he'll probably never crack that starting rotation for you, at least for the next few years, or until LeBron retires? Or something happens there anyway, something to consider with Kyle Kuzma.
But I don't think I don't think that there's really a spot for him in the starting lineup right now.
Not say he can't contribute.
You can still find ways to get him 25 30 minutes a night and make him a major contributor.
Manager nobly came off the bench right and contributed immensely to the those Spurs championships.
But sometimes he was the best player.
Okay, Lou Williams comes off the bench and has been amazing for the Clippers, so coming off the bench doesn't mean you can't make an impact.
But I'm just saying called Cosmos starting might be kind of tough for the Lakers Moving forward.
Um, speaking of which, all the Clippers did it wind up beating the Warriors.
I was hoping that would go the other way.
The Warriors were hanging in there, but looks like Clippers are going to get the win there.
Update on even L.
A from Jeff son.
Look, Memphis is in a holding pattern.
They continue to say they will not buy out Andre Adela that some team will have to trade for him.
We'll see if no one blinks and no one trades for Andre Iguodala by the trade deadline, which again, instead, very sixth.
I think they have to buy him out.
They can't just let it all a rot at home and refused to put him in games when he's a veteran player.
That's gonna be a bad look for Memphis.
So I think they have to buy him up.
I think a lot of teams understand that now.
Will someone cave eventually and offer Memphis something for Iguodala? Maybe that could happen, and maybe that's likely to happen.
And that's why if you're the Lakers, I don't think you can count on him being available out there.
Um, it made a from Facebook, said, Is there any way we could get Ingram back? No, that's not happening.
Especially, have you guys seen what Brandon Ingram has been doing? He has been.
I he's been incredible and and and I'm so glad to see it.
Ingram worked incredibly hard, made great leaps and strides with the Lakers last season.
And then that injury that DVT people were legit.
Worried that his career was over.
And now, like look tonight against the Knicks.
Brandon Ingram, 28.
6 boards, nine assists, one steal, five of nine from deep look.
He hit another level last season in a few weeks before his injury last season with the Lakers and this season with the Pelicans.
He has just continued right on, just these trajectories going straight up.
He's been tremendous this season, but yes, glad to see him doing well.
Wish she could still be a Laker, but you'll have to have to settle for Anthony Davis.
Yeah, can't be too upset there.
William Alysia from Facebook said.
Daniel's cook and crews are out the door.
Possibly that could happen.
I mean, look, if you're gonna try and construct a trader on Kyle Kuzma and you need salary filler, probably the first names coming up our Troy Daniels and Quinn Cook because you can toss them into a deal without affecting the Lakers rotation or anything like that could happen, Kenneth, Eleanor said.
Who's going to defend James Harden? So when the Lakers do take on the Rockets, which they have a game coming up against the Rockets, who defends James Harden, well, I think a lot of guys will get a shot at him.
I think you're going to see some Danny Green on him. You're going to see Avery Bradley.
You'll see some car.
You'll see some Koosman, maybe get switched on to him.
But you'll see some Alex Caruso.
I think those are gonna be the three primary defenders of James Harden for the Lakers, and they are their three best perimeter defenders.
So that's what I think you're going to see there.
Ah, few more people asking if KCP is okay again.
I haven't seen it yet.
I haven't seen any news coming out yet on KCP, so hopefully he's Ah, he is okay.
Alvin M from YouTube says Cosby needs to dye his hair back toe back to black.
Uh, look, I know Cruz was Hair is in a has been super popular monk, like most Lakers fans.
But whatever you could do what he wants to do.
You guys have some some great comments tonight? By the way, Johnny Kilroy.
Any word on the Bogdanovich trade? So bargain Bogdanovich is he? Is that happening? Well, we know that well, it's been put out there anyway.
Sam A**** of the athletic, who's very, very connected with the King's has said that that the Kings don't want to trade Bogdanovich for Kuzma straight up they would do.
And by the way, straight up doesn't work really on the math doesn't work, but basically Kuzma and filler salaries.
So Quinn Co Troy Daniels stuff like that for Bogdanovich.
The king's say no, they wouldn't do that.
They would want Cosma and something else.
They want some sort of peace.
Meanwhile, Marc Stein reported from the Lakers side, and actually, this came out first.
Marc Stein said the offer would have to start with Bogdanovich, meaning the Lakers actually want more than that.
It's just negotiating through the media, back and forth.
Maybe they come to an agreement there.
But I'd say it's fairly unlikely that that actually goes down and happens, if for no other reason than the Kings don't want to do anything to help the Lakers.
So I think the only way the King's make a trade with the Lakers is if they're clearly, they clearly feel they're winning the trade.
So yeah, there you go, Kenneth Item said from Facebook.
Why couldn't Ingram do all of that when he was with us? I'd argue that he did.
If you look at what he did in those few weeks before he got hurt, Ingram was getting to his spots easily.
The game looks like it's slowed down for him.
He hit a whole new level and I argued a number of times that he was performing as an All Star caliber player right before the injury took him out for about a month.
Ah, he was extreme high percentage on his mid range shots.
Nobody was affecting them. He was getting to the rim.
He was setting up teammates.
He was doing all the little things that we needed him to dio.
And then now that he's a pelican, he's added the three point shot that has started to come around for him.
So when you add the tools that he had to do was game last season, plus the three point shooting, he's become an extremely good player.
He could be very well be an All Star this season.
I certainly up there for the most improved player candidate of the year award.
But again, I thought that he actually did start doing those things as a Laker.
It wasn't like he was just a nothing for the Lakers or anything last season.
He was actually really, really good.
He started the season slow, and so this narrative built around Ingram that, you know, he couldn't play well with LeBron James and ah, and he just wasn't developing and he was a bust and all that stuff.
And so by the time he really got going, this negative narrative had already kind of taken hold.
And a lot of people just overlooked how good he was last season on that final stretch for the Lakers.
So it would look again.
It would be great if he was back.
Unfortunately, though, he is a pelican.
Yes, somebody mentioned.
Now he's the main option for the pelicans. Yeah, he is.
I am curious to see what happens when Zion comes back, which sounds like it's gonna happen fairly soon.
See how ah Ingram plays there.
C said shout out from the Philippines as well.
Hey, shout out right back to you.
Appreciate you joining us tonight all the way from from the Philippines.
Glad you're there.
Glad you're joining us from there.
Great support for us.
By the way, the Philippines guys for you.
If you didn't know, we get our second most viewers, right? Obviously we get a lot of viewers from the United States, but our second most is the Philippines.
So we I mean, we love the amount of support that that Lakers nation has.
That the Lakers have in the Philippines is absolutely incredible.
My mind is always appreciate.
You guys coming in.
Charles to Trevor.
Why not sign Jamal Crawford? Because I think he's 80 right now.
Isn't a 85 something like that? No, Look, Jamal Crawford.
I believe he's 40.
Uh, what does he give you? What does he give you that's going to make this team that much better? And you could say shot creation.
Hey, what? She can create his own looks, and we've talked about for a while that the bench doesn't give you enough of that.
And so that's accurate.
But on the other end, his defense is so bad he's probably giving up just as many points is generating right now.
You could say he can take Rondo's minutes, and Rondo is kind of a turnstile on defense anyway.
So maybe that's a wash.
And Jamal Crawford's a better offensive player than Rondo is.
But I just don't like if you go grab Jamal Crawford.
I don't think that suddenly makes the team say team feel like Okay, now their championship contender.
They got exactly what they needed if it was Lou Williams shirt because Lou Williams is about eight years younger, it's a totally different dynamic there, right? Like if you can.
If you can find somebody at the trade deadline, they could do those things.
If it's like a Derrick Rose or somebody like that, count me in.
That type of skill set is what you need.
I just worry about the age.
I don't know that he's the peace.
Now Look, if they don't get anything else and and he's still out there, maybe you look at him.
Maybe, but I think you've got to go through all those other options first.
Before you look at a 40 year old Jamal Crawford.
UH, Adam 818 Lakers.
Where did you get this shirt's? Where did I get this? The Lakers Nation Store Goto Lakers nation dot com Go to the store.
Uh, you may have to look through designs a little bit, but it's in there, and you can order in a few different colors.
You can order a different style.
I've got, like, the sport version, so it's like Thea dry fit, uh, fabric.
Hey, so you can get it in all different kinds of ways to get into, like a cotton.
I've got another version of it that's just a cotton T shirt.
You could get in different colors and get in black.
I think you could get in white getting purple, too.
I really like the purple, by the way, but yeah, check it out.
Lakers nation dot com Go to the store and you could look at this year.
We've got all kinds of shirts on their tons of stuff there for you guys to browse through if you're looking for Laker Nation, Lakers Nation merchandise, uh, ram from YouTube said play Caruso's point guard.
Let him run pick and rolls.
That should solve our need for another playmaker.
I feel like Caruso's playmakers, actually playmaking skills of actually kind of taken a back seat as he's focused more on just being great defender and kind of a slasher on the offensive end, which is really what this team needs from him.
Uh, he could be okay.
As a point guard, he can't do that.
He's a better passer.
I think that he gets credit for, but I don't know that he's the solution, either.
Okay? I want if I'm Frank Vogel at this point, I'm so enamored with Alex Crusoe's defense and what he's done on that end that I'm just going to tell him to keep doing that.
Keep focusing on the defense, because that's really helping the Lakers win games right now.
Okay, we're gonna take a few more, and then, uh, then we'll call it a, uh, call it a Friday evening.
Touchdown Machine, Can it? The touchdown machine.
Okay, so, Kenneth, I'm assuming that this is a pseudonym.
For what? Christian McCaffrey, then who had about a 1,000,000 touchdowns? Or maybe Lamar Jackson joining us here in this chat.
If you're a touchdown machine, thoughts on Costas onto to Campo.
Okay, Cost just onto to Coop.
Oh, uh, look, we didn't get to see much of them.
I think he's interesting.
Think he's worth some looks if the Lakers get a chance, I seemed I've seen some good things out of them in the D League, but again, until we see extended run in the n b A, it's hard to have any real thoughts on him.
Look, he's long.
He's lanky, he's big.
I thought they may have to go to him today until that small ball unit that that the weird, tiny bench crew I got the job done.
I thought otherwise they may have to put onto to Coop Oh, in just to have some kind of size out there.
But look, I'd like to get a look at him, but it's hard to say.
I really have a major opinion of him at this point.
That's just that's kind of where we're at.
He's young, He's his brother.
Hopefully they're building a good relationship there.
Kenneth Lay, Norris said.
Congratulations to Dwight Howard.
Guaranteed contract? Yeah, absolutely.
Dwight Howard certainly deserve the guarantee deal.
Moussa King Moose Fly.
Who is a great name on Facebook? Why are you alone today? On Friday, where your guys again Chris Masters is Ah, Master, locking some people right now and and again.
Jazz has some some folks in town, So yeah, so just me tonight.
Shane Howard's really happy with it, Still holding up when the bigs got the fifth foul? Absolutely, absolutely.
I was putting that out there on Twitter, I said, Look, that may be the key to this game that those minutes without Dwight without JaVale without when LeBron was off the floor, too, and that weird lineup that weird line of that Rondo, KCP Danny Green, Caruso and Jared Dudley lineup.
That tiny lineup got it done.
That was probably the most important stretch of the game right there because you kept Look, if the maps and continued on that run and say they cut it to seven, they cut it to six.
This game may have ended up completely different instead, that you didn't actually increase.
The leader got back up the 13 and then the Lakers were able to put him away from there.
They did a phenomenal job, and that was again.
I think that if you felt pointed to any, any moment of the game, that this is when the game was on a swivel and it could have gone either way and the Lakers stepped up.
That was, I think the deciding moment in the game had Terrence J. Hang.
He's not going to be his brother.
He's not going to be an athletic freak. M v p.
Probably best player in the league that dominates just about everyone.
Come on, I mean, yeah, that's That's pretty safe to say that.
That's pretty safe to say that he's not going to be his brother.
We know that lone wolf. Trevor.
What moves do you think the Lakers will make in the summer? This I'm just trying to enjoy this season right now.
Guys like the Lakers have made the playoffs in six years.
They they've responded to Tiu.
Any comes of trouble with big winning streets is now seven games in row.
Enjoy where we're at right now.
I think there's gonna be opportunities in the summer.
They're gonna have a mid level exception to spend fingers crossed.
Anthony Davis is gonna come back.
Sounds like that most likely gonna happen.
Okay, but there's gonna be opportunities for them to add talent.
The question is, what is KCP do with this player option JaVale do with his player option Rondo do with this player option DeMarcus cousins who was only on a one year deal.
There's gonna be some decisions to be made for, to be sure.
Okay, but right now, let's focus on what's what's happening in the in the moment.
Because they are.
Uh, look, this is a This is a season to remember.
This is a season to cherish, especially given what the Lakers have gone through in the past six years.
Enjoy where we're at right now.
Don't worry too much about this summer just yet.
Let's let's focus on this season and winning a championship, Huh? Uh, Russia, Davidson said.
People didn't think Mark was any good when the with the Lakers trade him for Pau.
Yeah, that's that's true.
People thought that he wasn't anything.
And then he turned into something.
Somebody else made it comment here.
Oh, Shane Howerton from Facebook.
As long as we sign a d.
I'm happy with the summer trust Kalinka, and that's exactly where the Lakers are out there saying, Rob, we trust you.
Therefore, here's our promotion, I'd imagine.
Probably a raise.
Um, here's here's a new title.
Here's our commitment for the next what five years or whatever the deal was.
So you know, the Lakers in the same spot.
They're saying we believe in you, and I think Lakers fans now should give plink a little bit of leeway.
Hopefully, he pulls off something here at the trade deadline that makes them even better.
I'm not saying I want to see guys traded away.
That could be something he gets done on the buyout market but hopefully he pulls off something in the next month and gets the Lakers in eight.
Even better position to win a championship.
All right, Joseph Wang said Lakers at.
Okay, see tomorrow night? Hope that plays well tonight.
Okay, so let's talk about that Lakers head in 20 k. C.
The thunder just beat the Rockets.
And a very emotional game because James James Harden is leading the Rockets in a town with Russell Westbrook.
A guy who spent some time in Okay, See? Ah, if you saw that game, Chris Paul went ballistic.
He had his revenge game.
He made the Rockets look foolish.
This okay? See, team is playing much, much better.
This is a good team.
In fact, most likely.
Okay, See, is gonna be a playoff team.
Most people thought they were going to drop out, but they are right now.
Seventh in the West.
There are two game win streak and Ah, yeah.
Look, this is probably a playoff team in the Western Conference.
Which How crazy is this? By the way, guys, the Memphis Grizzlies, as of right now, are a playoff team.
They're there in the eight seed.
Not in the eight seed or missing the playoffs are the Spurs, the Blazers, the T Wolves, the Kings, who we thought it might make a leap this season.
And the Golden State Warriors.
Yeah, it's been a weird season.
A lot of teams that we thought would definitely make the playoffs are not in there, but the Oklahoma City thunder right now are all right.
What I'm saying is, this is gonna be a tough one.
Second night of a back to back.
And here's what happens sometimes.
Guys, when ah player gets hurt, a key player gets hurt.
Sometimes the game right after that.
You see this? You see a big performance.
Ah, lot of role players step up because everybody's got it in their head.
Okay, We gotta play.
We gotta play well in order to make up for Anthony Davis being gone.
You see, that effect happened Ah, lot during an n B.
A season where a star player goes out and someone goes ballistic or an entire bench crew goes ballistic and fills in, and they pick up a win that you didn't think they would Okay, Like the 76 years beating the Boston Celtics without Joel Embiid.
I think it was last night, right? So that effect can take place and does take place fairly often in the in the N.
The problem is, you can make up for a star being gone with that type of blow, a performance from your bench, that type of energy from your bench for a game, maybe two games, but over any extended period, then you start to feel the effects of that star being gone.
So the question is, can the Lakers bring the same energy, the same shot making that they did tonight against against Dallas into Oklahoma City? They now get on a plane.
They have to fly.
LeBron played 32 minutes, Obviously played played very, very well tonight.
But can they keep that up? But they shot 53% from the field and 42% from the three point line from the free throw line.
Without Anthony Davis, who's their best free throw shooter? Can they shoot like that two nights in a row? I don't know.
I think it's gonna be a tough task.
The O. K C game's gonna be tough.
The O. K. C feels like they have something to prove.
They want to prove that they are a playoff team.
Picking up a win over the Lakers would be a big step in that direction for them.
I think it's gonna be a battle.
I don't know if Anthony Davis is gonna be back, but it's one I'm looking forward to.
But it man, it's gonna be a close one.
I think it's gonna be a very, very tough game.
Okay, I'm not expecting a blowout in that one for the Lakers.
Uh, Evans Juice said.
They will still be trying to trade Chris Paul and Stephen Adams.
They know they wouldn't get past the first round.
Okay, it's possible that Sam Presti looks at it, says, Look, realistically, yes, we've been playing well, but we're not really a contender or anything like that.
And if the right moves come come along, they will ship those guys out.
Chris Paul has a huge contract that's gonna be very difficult to trade, so they've got a factor.
That and same thing with Steven Adams has a big contract.
But maybe maybe you can find something that will work for him, but that's not what's happening that's not happening between now and tip off tomorrow night, those guys will be there in uniform for the Oklahoma City thunder tomorrow.
And so that's something that that the Lakers were gonna have to contend with.
You know, Sir Trevor, what about Markeith Morris? So not Marcus Morris, but Mark Keith Morris.
I mean, right now, even though Markeith was thought to be the guy coming in out of college and Marcus was seen as kind of the lesser of the Twins, that's definitely flipped.
Marcus Morris fits the modern India quite a bit more, Marquis.
If I don't know, that wouldn't do a lot for me.
I think he's more of a four than a three, and the Lakers don't need that right now.
The Lakers need more of a three than a four, and that's what Marcus Morris's.
All right, we're gonna do one more.
Yeah, this one is funny.
The art of war says trade Danny Green for shade guilders for Shane instead of Chez Shane guilders.
Alexander is Shane Guiltless Alexander, maybe shade guiltless Alexander's brother.
Maybe you get that done, but yeah, okay, See, is not trading.
They're not trading Shakeel.
They are very, very happy with him.
He's been been very, very, very good.
Kevin King will wrap up with this from YouTube.
I wish tht and Costa's could get some minutes, but it's obvious Vogel doesn't like to play the youngsters youngsters too much.
Well, Kevin, you've got to remember the Lakers are in a position where they have to develop on the fly as much chemistry.
Is there a CZ they possibly can head into the playoffs? Right? They need this time to be clicking.
They don't have the benefit of being together for years and years, right? They don't like Lou Williams and Montrose Harold have built in chemistry that they've developed over the past couple of seasons.
Great, that's been a thing.
So the they were Houston Rockets together before they got sent to the Clippers, right in the crisp all trade.
But now, so they've got that chemistry.
The Lakers, on the other hand, have a lot of new faces, and those new faces need time together out there on the floor.
Anthony Davis and LeBron need to play together.
They need to get used to playing with with Danny Green.
They need to get used to playing with Avery Bradley with all these other guys.
So that takes minutes, All right, so that's part of it.
The other part of it is here.
The Lakers have to win games, and a lot of their games have been close.
A lot of their games have been closer than we thought.
They haven't had all that many blowout opportunities, Um, where the games like, put away with six minutes to play in the fourth quarter and you could just empty the bench.
They haven't had a lot of opportunities to do that.
So when they do get minutes for these guys, it's like two minutes.
You know, sometimes they're off with the South Bay Lakers on, and so they're not getting opportunities to play.
I would like to see them get some minutes at some point, but right now for the Lakers, they need to.
Continue doing what they're doing.
They need to keep winning games.
And if you're doing that with the veterans and by messing around with some of the D League players, you could drop a game or two that's not worth it.
That's not worth it.
When you're a Lakers team that, as of right now, you're their first place in the West.
But I'm double checking here to see where things were at.
They have a four and 1/2 game lead on the Denver Nuggets for first in the West.
And going into the season, I said, I don't care what see they are.
I care about them being healthy.
But right now, knowing that if you're the number one seed that gets you a date with the Memphis Grizzlies, you get the Grizzlies in the first round.
Whereas if you drop to say the three seed, you've gotta play the Mavericks seven times, or however many times it takes to beat him.
Hey, if you're the four seed, you've got to deal with the Houston Rockets of the Utah Jazz.
I think there's some value of this season in actually getting that one scene because the opponent, if you're the you're the two you've got to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder, have been playing really well, and I don't know if I like Chris Paul could blow up for a playoff series.
I probably want to deal with that.
So the Lakers were in a pretty good spot right now, and I think that they need to do what they can to preserve that and stay in the one seed for the, uh for the playoffs.
And again, we're only about halfway through the season.
There's a long way to go, but those are some reasons why.
Maybe you don't give some of those minutes to some of those young players.
All right? All right, guys, that's going to wrap things up for tonight.
Appreciate you guys coming in up Adam 8182 Trevor, do a fist pump like sleep.
What? That's and that zealously was.
Think we're gonna let him continue doing that? I'll come up with something else, I'm sure.
But maybe I'll talk to the guys about.
I'll talk to Jazz and Chris and we'll come up with something for when the Lakers, when we'll have to come up with some sort of celebration.
But for right now, I appreciate you guys joining me here on a Friday evening.
