Welcome to the broadcast I'm going to be doing today.
Dallas at Philly for my foam sitting on the ground watching the end of the Saints and Titans game moving tomorrow so don't really have much left in the apartment.
But so talking about the Philadelphia Eagles in Dallas Cowboys so the Cowboys can clinch the NFC East with Ah went today against the Eagles.
So the Cowboys and Eagles, they're both seven and seven.
The Cowboys are only one in six versus teams over of 500 or better record.
Not very good, but the Cowboys won the last meeting between the Eagles.
Actually, they have a four game winning streak against the Eagles.
The last match off was a Sunday night football game, and they won 37 to 10.
The Eagles didn't look very good at all.
No, I know that they have, like a depleted secondary, but still no, no person on the Eagles team looks phenomenal.
Looked great, stood out to me on this game.
The Cowboys completely ran the game from beginning to end, so the Cowboys aren't this outstanding team, but I'm gonna be focusing more on how the Eagles can win this game more than the keys for Dallas.
Just because Cowboys, to me or more of an all around team than Philadelphia is now, they still have Philadelphia, I think, has an upper hand in the quarterback position.
But, uh, Dallas still has better receiving corps.
Clearly, Philadelphia's depleted and, uh, the wide receiver corps they had secondary finally got that back.
And then they lost Alshon Jeffery.
So now, so now, bars inactive.
There's Ah lot of tests that Philadelphia is gonna have to go through to be able to pull out this window.
But so what I'm thinking of when it comes this game is when's has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Net Falls because he was having this great season.
And then he got her and Nick Foles took his team to the Super Bowl and won the Super Bowl.
And Carson wants hasn't played in the playoffs since he had that injury.
They went back again, and Nick Foles played again, and I'm pretty sure they ended up losing to the States the next season.
So once has done pretty well recently.
In the last three games, he's had eight touchdowns and only one interception and had a 100.
1 average rating.
So that's that's pretty good.
There he is, stepping up for the team.
He is doing what he needs to, to be able to pull out the winds.
He's had a couple of gay money drives in the last few weeks.
They know how important this game is to them because essentially the Eagles can't get a wild card because of Seattle is now in the wild card.
Minnesota still in the wild card.
They all have double digit wins, and Philly does not.
There is no way that they can reach that.
So if the Cowboys would say the evils air out of the playoffs, so lucky is that they're wide receiver corps is not very healthy.
Uh, Gloria's inactive, so they're really gonna have to rely on their tight ends really gonna have to rely on Earth's and Godard to be able Thio make the big catches and course one.
Make the big throws for the game to be able to keep up the Dallas.
So the keys for me I'm thinking for the Eagles.
Then you don't really stop Zeke.
It's important for them toe.
Not get him going, so he averages almost 115 yards per game versus the eagle.
So that's minimum of five games.
But that's most sin against the Eagles have allowed, so if they stop him, then they definitely have a better chance.
You also have to think of a Mark Cooper.
The Cowboys Air are way better Oven all around team when they get a Mark Cooper involved.
When he's not involved, they're struggling that have to go to other receivers like Randall.
Cobb hasn't been this huge star that a lot of people thought he was going to be with the Cowboys because he was with the Packers and Jason Witten.
I mean, he has, you know, that great catch last week and stuff like that, but he's not always a huge factor in the game, either.
You have to put pressure for the defense.
You have to put pressure on deck, and, uh, you have to limit his big throws.
Now he has over, like, appreciates almost 42% completion percentage when it comes to having throws downfield 20 yards and more.
Now that's pretty good.
A lot of people can't do that, a lot of people don't have that arm that strength, that ability, that completed percentage to be able to make those big plays in those big bro's.
So if you can limit that hey, be forced to check down.
And the Eagles defense is actually pretty good when it comes to the run defense or the mid range area type of defense, their secondary.
Like I said, they're healthy, but they're still allowing.
I think they've allowed almost 20 touchdowns already to see recently, so that's not very good.
That's maybe fits in the NFL, I believe.
Sorry, I should have looked up.
These exacts, that's before.
But I'm just trying to think so.
Then, if you go to the offensive side of the ball, you could not forced ones cannot force throws that are not there.
Thio put the law on AG Lord's hands.
When Zach Ertz is open and it's you have to you have to keep your offense on the field, the defense for the Cowboys.
They're strong, but they get tired easily.
It's something that the Eagles rather need to focus on a staying on the field.
Don't force throws that aren't there, and you also need to win the turnover battle.
So Carson Wentz.
I wouldn't say he's known for fumbling, but he does have the ability to lose the ball.
But it's he's under pressure.
He's about to get sacked.
He just not one that wrap up the ball in, uh, keep it in his arms.
He loses it where he's throws interceptions.
But like I said earlier, he's been doing better with the interceptions.
Better with the fumbles, he's been able to take care of the bar more, so they really need a win that turnover battle.
They can't they can't lose the ball and he can't form of all.
You can't throw interceptions or else the Cowboys will be able to take advantage of these.
They like to score points over the turnover, such where they thrive and when the Cowboys get up early.
It's kind of hard to come back from that when they're on a roll.
When they're getting going there, strong team and they love momentum.
They thrive off of the moment.
Um so when they get going, if they're up early, it's gonna kind of be hard to come back.
I know Philly has been down and they've been able to come back, but it's not.
That's not the same team as the Cowboys.
I know the record doesn't show the way that they claim, but they actually have been playing decently well this season.
I wouldn't say, You know, the game against gents was kind of embarrassing.
But so bitey Mr Packer, some thinking about when the cow was played, the Packers.
So the Packers were up the whole game.
You know, Aaron Jones had four touchdowns and they kept it going the whole game.
Packers had the momentum.
And then, suddenly, in the fourth quarter, they get the Cowboys get stops and ends up being way closer of the game than it should have been.
It came down to really the last few minutes, so the Cowboys know howto keep government time, and once they get going, it's hard to get them to stop.
So if we recap, we need to have Carson's hold onto the ball.
Cal was will thrive off of those turnover score points over the turnovers.
He can't force throats that heart there.
He's gonna end up throwing multiple picks.
If he does that, you just needed.
Even if you have to check down, then you have to check down, get the yards, don't throw the pics, and you have to go for the defense.
You have toe shut. Cooper down.
There are way better team when it comes to Cooper getting involved, saying.
With Zeke, you have to shut him down.
I can't get those touchdowns.
They're way better team when he gets going as well.
And you have to put pressure on Jack.
You have to keep him for making those big time throws because he's able to do a lot of those 20 plus yard throws and it brings it, gets them back into the game.
And like I said, it gives the momentum and they thrive off that momentum.
I don't think that the Cowboys are this phenomenal team, this great team.
I mean, clearly the record shows they played hard in the games, but they always they don't know necessarily how to finish.
I think that if the Eagles are able to hold onto the ball when their secondary can actually step up and contain Cooper, I think that they can pull this off.
I want to pick Philly.
I think it's gonna be a close game.
I don't think that's gonna be some blow out on either side.
I think that both teams know how important this game is because, like I said, the Cowboys went.
They clinched the East, the Philadelphia.
If they win, they can clinch next week.
I'm gonna go with the Eagles.
I think Cartoon once has a huge chip on his shoulder with Nick Foles very on stuff like that.
So I think he's gonna pull up the win.
I think I'm gonna have the Eagles winning 24 to 21.
Thank you for I'll be back tomorrow to do the Vikings and Packers Monday Night football game.
