Yeah, according to Jeff, how the Patriots scout didn't know a thing about the film crew filming the Bengal sideline.
Roger Goodell has said that the original spy gate scandal will be taken into consideration when considering punishment to the New England Patriots.
How exactly are the Patriots players being affected by this recent scandal to hit the paints? The Pats on the football field? The Patriots are moving past a two game losing streak, and they're on to Cincinnati again and the Bengals Air one and 12.
But the Patriots have to be ready for a very aggressive Cincinnati team.
What advice to patron veterans give Jacoby Meyers in the keel. Harry.

With all that being said, let's jump into talking about football on Let's talk about our New England Patriots.
All right, So, look, I'm frankly, I'm done talking about this whole Deflate Gate two point.
Oh, I have addressed it twice this week on my own show.
Last night I did a show with I did a show with master work, my boy Tyson, over there and we talked about the Flake eight, and basically I was just finished with it all.
And then I read a couple of interesting stories today.
Want about Roger Goodell talking about how he will take the original the Flake Aid into consideration prior to, you know, to making a decision about how to punish the Patriots? And then I heard a conference.
Then I read something about how the players are being affected.
So I thought, OK, you know what, Off finish my show with that.
I'll get it to the end because I'm sick about talking about off the field issues.
I want to talk football.
I want to talk about the actual New England Patriots and not the crap going around it.
So my show was Pratt.
My show was done and all this and I got a notification on my phone that Jeff, How would the athletic wrote an article? And it pieced together that more details out emerge of the Patriots scout, you know, amid the video situation and basically going through how the Patriots scout had no idea that the film crew was even filming the Bengal sidelines.
Now here's the thing as much as I'm sick about it.
I actually did do one of the cardinal sins of Patriot fans, and I spent 13 minutes today listening to Rob Parker and Shannon Sharpe.
And Skip Bayless also weighed in.
Three guys who dislike Bill Ballot check.
I don't know Shannon's or abuse like global check, but, you know, look, a lot of them already found guilty.
And you know Rob Parker, who pretends to be a journalist he pre looted and said, If if If, If they find Bill ballots are guilty, they needed So the book out of Miss suspended indefinitely, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
You know, I think the hardest part about being a Patriots right now of Patriots fan right now those everything they were saying was kind of true if ballot if they did find out that Ballot Shack had knowledge that this crew was going to be taping, you know, the the Bengal sideline if he told them to do it, You know, I think the hardest part was you can't disagree with people would say Okay, he needs to be suspended for a long time.
And Tyson mention it last night.
You know, if it was him and probably be your suspension like when Sean Payton was suspended.
Upper bounty gate.
And even though when you look at the facts and you look at everything, common sense will tell you that it was just an honest mistake by a film crew who didn't understand the rules, it was probably bad on the Patriots side for not telling the crew that you know you're not allowed to do that.
But at the end of the day, in the court of public opinion, the Patriots have been caught cheating before, and people are just gonna believe that the Patriots or trader are cheaters and tarnished legacies.
And this and that.
When we all know deep down at the end of the day in 10 15 20 years, nobody's gonna care about the cheating scandals.
There's gonna be a couple of angry Chiefs fans, a couple of angry Rams father's probably Rams fans left anymore from ST Louis.
But there's gonna be a couple of cry babies talking about tarnished legacies.
But everybody's gonna go back and realize that we got the witness, one of the most special runs in the history of sports, really.
But because of all the new information that came out today and all the stuff with the look at spi geh 2.
0, unfortunately, jump to the front of my show today, so let's get it over with, and then we can get an actual talking about football.
So I want to kind of go through Jeff.
How's article here? And we can talk a little bit more about it ago.
This is Bill Belichick was pressed Wednesday on one key remaining question regarding the sideline video controversy between the Patriots and the Bengals.
Now, while Belichick stood Pat with his responses and continuing to make it clear that the Patriots football operations had nothing to do with the actions or directions of the organization's productions crew, he didn't go into detail about the scouts vantage point of the video crew or whether the scout was where the rule that prohibits teams from video in videotaping opponent sidelines.
You know, Bill Pal checks that quote.
He was doing his job.
Ah, but you know about checks of the scout who was still hasn't been identified.
That's what he was doing.
He was doing his job like we all try to do like we all try to do now.
The athletic was able to connect the remaining missing thoughts on Thursdays.
So look, if you missed it.
Here's a prime primer of the events that led up to the Patriots sending a three person production crew to Cleveland on Sunday for the game between the Browns and Bangles.
The quick version is they were on hand to finish shooting an episode of Do Your Job on a week in the life of a Patriots pro scout.
Here are a few different details from Sunday morning and afternoon.
The Patriots advance Scout arrive that first energy stadium at about three hours before the game.
During the time before kickoff, the Patriots production crew interviewed the scout on camera.
As part of the interview, the scout went through some bullet points about his normal activity on game days, including what he examined string games.
Ah, portion of his game day studies include notes on the sideline, which is permissible by NFL rules and routine scouting activity for teams leaguewide.
So every scout doesn't nobody freak out and start calling the Patriots cheaters, saying they can't do it.
Every team has a scout that goes out and do it Now.
After the conclusion of the interview, the production crew shot B roll alternative video footage that airs over an interview from the press box.
The scale was assigned one seat in the third row.
In the video, crew was assigned one seat next to him.
They shot B roll of the Scout for the from next to him before the game and then into the first quarter.
Because the scout was the subject of those candid shots, he was going about his business and attempting to block them out of his sight line to try to deflect the attention of having a production crew following him around in a work environment.
From there, the crew removed maneuvered about the press box and shot B roll of the scout, including shots from over his shoulder.
Ah, and then the video Aga for relocated to the front row to an unoccupied seat of press blocks with the producer station behind the camera from the Scouts location in the third row.
He eventually noticed the crew had moved locations but couldn't decipher what the crew had been shooting due to the angle between them, the scout was handling his own game day responsibilities.
Now the camera attached to the monitor are There was a camera.
There was a camera attached to a monitor so anyone in close proximity could see what the crew was shooting.
Ah, and for eight minutes, while the camera was fixed on the Bengal sideline, a Bengals employees recorded video of that monitor before reporting the activity to security.
The scout didn't see the crew again until the two minute warning in the second quarter, when they were being interviewed about the incident.
So to answer one of the remaining questions, No, the scout was not in a position to notice the crew who was shooting the video on the sideline.
I have no idea if I have no idea how the athletic put that all together.
I don't know if that was Jeff how Working sources.
I don't know if that came from somewhere else, and and how just wrote the article, that part of it all, I'm I'm not aware of how the patriots how he got that information.
But if that story is correct in, if you know that sort of, you know, Siri's of events has been, you know correctly identified, and the athletic has right then, Obviously, the Patriots were not intentionally filming the sideline.
I want to quote, what what, skip Bayliss said.
You know, Bill Belichick is arrogant.
Yes, Bill Belichick is brash.
Bill Ball check himself admitted that they will go close to that line of cheating.
He will do things that will force the NFL.
The change rules when you think back to the 2014 divisional game verse the Ravens and he was using all those unconventional formations to throw off the defense, and then they had to come back and change the rules.
He's a lot of things.
And you know what? Here's the reality, guys.
Every team in the NFL cheats.
The Patriot has just been caught twice, but Bill Ball check is not stupid.
He's not stupid enough to put a crew in Patriots logos and Patriots gear and have them sit in the press box in blatantly videotape.
You know, our video record, the opposing team sidelines and have monitors hooked up.
So anybody kind of sitting around could see what they were doing.
Like that's not a ballot check thing.
And then again, it always has to go back to the question of why Why would they do it? Why would you do it against the one in 12 Bangles? You didn't do it against the Houston taxes.
You didn't do it against the Kansas City Chiefs.
You didn't do it against the Baltimore Ravens.
You didn't know at the time that they were recording the sidelines that you were gonna lose to the Chiefs.
There was actually a lot of confidence around the Patriots locker room that they could beat Kansas City.
So why was that the moment? And that's, I think, one of the big pressing questions I could answer.
I mean, that question right there alone should clear the Patriots because anybody in their right mind knows they're not.
But hopefully what? Jeff, how is laying out here kind of answer some more questions? But then that brings us into our next thing.
Of course, there's always there's gonna be punishment for this, regardless, whether or not they punished the Patriots organization, or do they punish the Operation side of thing, which could be draft picks, suspensions, that kind of thing.
And the only way they could do it is if somebody believed or they found evidence or proof or, more likely than not that Bill Belichick had prior knowledge that this was gonna happen.
But regardless of it all, Roger Goodell has said that.
Spy Gate former You know the real spy gate is going to be a factor in the New England Patriots filming probe, and this was outlined by Alex chipping on the score.
And it says, Roger Goodell acknowledged Wednesday that the NFL will consider Spy Gate while investigating the New England Patriots for a new videotape and controversy.
Okay, of course, that's a factor, the commissioner told reporters, according according to Boston 25 News.
Chad are Moreau, but I think the key things are the new information that we have, the information we obviously already had.
I think the issue is what information do we have from this incident? So look a three person crew, like we know the story would happen.
In 2017 the Patriots were stripped of a first round draft pick.
They were fined $250,000 for legally recording opponents.
Signals and head coach Bill Belichick was fined $500,000 for his role in the scandal, which apparently went all the way back to 2000.
Goodell at the time was widely criticized after Spy Gate for his ***ue answers on what the league uncovered in its investigation and for disposing of the videotapes after announcing the discipline.
Look what we're going to go through and we're going to get all the facts and we'll go from there, Goodell said Wednesday when Astra a possible timeline on the new probe.
The Patriots claimed responsibility on Monday for the infraction, and they said the video crew has obtained footage for its popular Do Your job do***entary series And Patriots employees receive stadium credentials from the Browns before the game.
And Belichick has been adamant that the video production crew operates independently of the football operations department.
Now a lot of people are saying that anything that runs through the you know that's football related, like a scouting like that.
Bill Belichick is gonna have his fingerprints all over it.
There's no way he's gonna give up that kind of control.
People need to remember.
Bill Belichick is not the boss of the Patriots organization.
Robert Kraft is Bill Belichick.
Reports to Robert Kraft.
Never, ever, ever forget that we already know that Robert Kraft went over Bella checks had when Belichick wanted to move on from Brady and keep Garoppolo we.
It's become plainly obvious that he went over his head again and forced him to release Antonio Brown, even though Bill Belichick felt that Antonio Brown was the best for the team.
So we need to stop pretending like Bill Belichick.
Could caib wash this kind of project? I'm sure that the marketing people and all the you know, those kind of people all got together and told Robert this is the best thing to do.
And Robert said, Well, if it's popular, let's go into it because that's what owners do.
I know that we all think an owner owns an NFL team and their you know their number one priority is winning the Super Bowl.
It is probably that because they know it will generate more money because their number one goal is to generate a profit.
The NFL is a for profit business owners by franchises to make money.
It's not a hobby for them.
You're not paying $200 million for a franchise not to make money.
You're 250 million ever cost now to own an NFL franchise.
So we need to stop pretending that Bill Belichick controls everything he controls.
What happens in the Patriotslocker room, right? He controls what happens in the Patriotslocker room.
Robert Kraft and Jonathan Kraft control everything else.
So that's one of those things I got to get away.
But then I love that this article from Christopher Mason came out from Mass like that.
Even think about it.
But here we are.
It's another, you know, Patriots scandal.
It's another thing, and it's, you know, and this time I think the Patriots are gonna walk away with a slap on the wrist, and I don't think it's gonna affect the team as a whole.
But how is this affecting the players again? And I don't know.
So if, um, a society said when the Patriots were accused of deflating footballs in 2014 the players in the locker room used that as a rallying cry.
These new filming allegations not so much quote as players.
It really doesn't pertain to us at all, defensive captain Devin McCourty said.
It has zero to do with us.
I remember in 14 to Flake eight.
I felt like it was for for guys that played with us that season.
That was kind of like a direct shot like we on Lee won because we did that.
But this stuff, it has nothing to do with us.
As players end quote, look, everybody with electricity knows what's going on right, and we've already talked about it twice.
I'm not gonna repeat what it is, Ben Watson said. Quote.
It hasn't trickled down to me.
It's something that we're aware of.
But it's something that I was aware of late.
It's something that honestly doesn't really affect us.
It's not really something that weighs on us.
Air affects us in any way.
And don't forget.
Watson was in Foxboro for the original spy gate scandal, but he doesn't believe the Patriots need any sort of controversy to bring the team together.
You know that has happened at times in this locker room and other locker rooms, he began.
But it seems like this locker room always has something going on up here in New England.
Maybe we're just used to him, I don't know, but it seems like that's what's happening and honestly, that's really the best way to deal with it because, honestly, nothing else matters from the outside and you know it.
And that's the biggest piece, right? And that's the thing, right? The Patriots can't get involved, and I'm done talking about the flaking for awhile.
I hope that nothing new comes out because I'm really finished speaking about it because I want to talk about football and let's just talk about football.
We've talked about this to death.
I've been talking about this for 17 minutes now, and I'm done talking about the flake it because the Patriots are on to Cincinnati and my boy, Brad Mackel Air from Moscow Fires talked about why the Patriots fans shouldn't worry about their team.
The New England Patriots might be down right now, but they are far from out.
Remember, we've all seen this exact script before.
It always seems to be the Kansas City Chiefs, who sparked speculation that the New England Patriots, two decades long dynasty, is finally coming to a close.
Following a 23 to 16 loss in Foxboro Sunday evening to the Chiefs, the Patriots dropped to 10 and three on the season, which is leaving many fans worried after the team lost their second straight game and rather ugly fashion fan, shouldn't feel the team is dead in the water yet.
And 2014 following a brutal 41 to 14 shellacking at the hands of who else? The Chiefs Bill Belichick famously said were on to Cincinnati.
He said it over and over again in his press conference following the bad New England loss, refusing to speculate about Tom Brady's future or or play ball with the questions assembled.
Press wanted him to answer the biggest media takeaway following that Chiefs game.
I was at the Patriots offense just didn't have what it took anymore, that Tom Brady was washed up and the Patriots wouldn't be able to win with him at the helm.
Sound familiar? I mean, Brady hit it directly on the head.
The Cincinnati has become like a mantra of my life.
When things are going bad, when things are not going the way I wanted to go, I take inventory of what's happening.
I take inventory of my options and I'm on to Cincinnati.
How is Patriot fans has become one of our most cherished lines that we ever talked about.
Every time something's going on with the Patriots on to the next, it's on to the next onto onto onto its on the Christmas, it become means that become puns.
It's something that's become engrossed in the Pats nation culture, and it's been engrossed for a reason because we saw what it does and what really, really interesting about this Patriots team right now.
And I mean this week, I don't mean like this season and last year I mean, like, this week, you're starting to see players getting mad.
Phillip Dorsett was mad.
Tom Brady was madman.
We haven't seen the Patriots outside a Tom Brady after a win of all times.
We haven't seen anybody really upset when they lost the Baltimore.
They're all smiling in the dressing room on Monday.
This Monday, very different.
We read that story about them being on edge.
There's tension in the locker room.
Guys want things to happen.
Yada, yada, yada and bill balance check after the loss.
Instead of coming out saying, you know, we need to coach better, we need to play better.
All these typical answers.
He talked about how We loved the Patriots fight.
He loved the fight that the Patriots had, and that's exactly what he said about the team in 2014.
Now he didn't say it during the press conference.
You said about it during do your job.
But his biggest takeaway from that 41 to 14 loss of the Chiefs was how the team fought till the very end.
And now he's happy with how his team fought against Kansas City Chiefs, and the narrative is the same.
Instead of having Donovan McNabb running around talking about Tom Brady's gonna be benched for Jimmy Garoppolo ER or Trent Dilfer proclaiming to the world that the Patriots just aren't good anymore.
It's Nick, right? Talking about how the Patriots can't beat the better teams in the A F C, let alone go to the Super Bowl.
It's Max Kellerman talking about how Tom Brady hasn't looked good and he's falling off that cliff.
It's Rob Parker, who takes every available shot at the New England Patriots and Tom Brady.
It's Shannon Sharpe, who has a complex in a jealousy to Tom Brady.
It's all going full circle.
Now it's Chiefs fans pumping their chest in flexing their arms, thinking that they now have the upper hand on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Well, we've had we've seen this before.
Well, and here's what he what? McElroy.
Here's what Brady says about this current team says.
We've seen this Patriot squad put points on the board earlier in the season, and they still rank eighth and points.
Despite scoring more than 20 points only once in their last five games, this offense is certainly capable of turning it around.
And with the league's top defense backing them up, they may not have to improve that much to give the Patriots 1/7 ring.
When it's all finally said and done, and how true is that? I mean, we're talking back to the pre season about this defense.
We're talking the first couple of games of the year, and we talked about how this Patriots offense didn't have to carry the team.
The defense could do enough and sometimes very early in the season, for some reason that Kansas City Chiefs came up in the conversation in our chat and we're talking about the Chiefs and the thing that came up about the Chiefs was, can the Patriots beat the Chiefs is the software is good enough to beat the Chiefs.
And I said if the Patriots offense could score 24 points, that's enough to beat Kansas City.
Lo behold that they would've scored 24 points on Sunday.
They would have won the game.
So they were basically a touchdown in a two point conversion away from winning the game because the defense held Kansas City to 23 you can scream to me all you want that Kansas City scored 20 in the first half.
They scored three in the second, and I know that Max Kellerman is completely ignoring that.
I know Nick right doesn't want to admit that the Patriots defense figured out Kansas City because Kansas City wasn't playing prevent in the third quarter of the game.
This wasn't a Houston game where they wanted to prevent for the last four minutes, and somehow the Patriots scored a lack of points.
Kansas City was trying to score. They couldn't.
And so when you look at all of that, this Patriots defense needs to get 10% better.
Bobby 10% better.
That's all it's gonna take.
If this Patriots offense gets 10% better.
We're going to start seeing the Patriots winning games easily.
And before they can do that, they're gonna have to prepare for an aggressive, underrated Bangles team and make the salt from patriots dot com kind of broke it all down, and this was my first kind of real dive into the Bangles this week, you know.
So the Patriots dove in the preparation for the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday, their final road opponent of the regular season game that is critical to New England.
Maintaining their grip on the second seed in the A F C at one and 12.
The Bengals might not strike fear into the hearts of many, but seven of their 12 losses have been a single score, and they've been very competitive in recent weeks when Andy Dalton, back under center the Bengals got their first win of the season over the Jets before dropping a close decision to the Browns last weekend.
The two leading weapons at receiver Tyler Board Boyd with 73 catches for 833 yards and three touchdowns, and running back Joe Mixon, with 789 yards.
Russian with three touchdown they've combined for the last five touchdowns the Bengals have scored over the last four games.
The Patriots depend on Julian Edelman and James White.
The Bangles lean on point and mixing.
Devin McCourty played down the similarities to the Rams offense.
Instead, they played to their players strengths and have their own version said quote.
If you watch Cincinnati, it's really not the same offense, said McCord.
They got some r P O in there.
The Rams don't really run that really don't do that much.
Ah, there's some crossover in there.
But I would say You gotta watch Cincinnati for Cincinnati.
It's not exactly the same.
Obviously, they have some condensed splits and things like that.
They'll run fast to the ball and they get plays off fast.
There's some Rams elements in there, but it's not exactly the same end quote.
One area of potential of potential interest is the red zone with the Bangles, Um, they are the third best defense in the end there, the third best red zone defense in the NFL.
That's a compelling matchup for a Patriot's offense that ranks just 27th in the red zone and has had to resort to creative play calling to score some touchdowns.
Bella, Jack said, quote defensively with Coach Lou Room.
Oh, there's a very aggressive front mentality.
These guys are very good up front.
Sam Hubbard, Gino Atkins, Carlo Dunlap They have some very explosive and disruptive players up there, and they may cause a lot of problems and they do a good job of creating negative plays and just generally being disruptive.
Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels echoed Bell attacks off observations.
If there was a word to describe the Bangles front, it's aggressive, and that should challenge the Patriots offensive line that has been inconsistent this season.
Cincinnati is a new GREss.
If Team one Gap style defense really built on preparation, pressure to create negative plays and long yardage situations, so are for the offense that they are playing against, McDaniel said.
Lou does a great job of really changing up the coverage schemes, what they're doing, how they play their different blitz packages.
This is a team that will blitz everybody.
Everybody will get it turned to make some disruptive plays, which is always a challenge to your communication and ability to handle those situations.
So the Bangles are also featured.
The top ranks special teams in the NFL, per football's outsider Devi away metric.
And for a team like the Patriots that have pride are preyed on special teams mistakes.
They will have their work cut out for them in their third phase of the game.
There's they've always been one of the best special team units that we face at ballot check.
Simmons does a good job with fundamentals techniques, and his units are very well prepared.
So look, I fully I mean, this isn't me just thrown up bravado.
I fully expect the New England Patriots tow walk into Cincinnati and get the win.
Just I and I get that, you know.
Anyways, what the Patriots need to remember is they're still playing an NFL team.
What I like about it is that they're because Cincinnati is go is kind of lineup and really targeting two guys in particular.
That's very similar to what the Patriots do again with White and Adelman.
So the Patriots defense just needs to take away Boyd and mixing and the rest of the team should be pretty easy.
I also love how they're talking about Andy Dalton like I should be worried about an adult.
And Andy Dalton lost his job this year, only got it back because his replacement was even worse.
I think, though what we need to remember is that even though the Bangles are not a great team, by the record, they've got a tonic games this year.
They've only lost by like one score, so they're not actually that bad of a team.
They got a bad record, their about closing team, a bad finishing team.
They're about winning team, you could call it, but they can keep games close.
But you know, for the you know, with no playoff spot, you know, with no playoff by with nothing a lock.
Yet every December game has a major ramification.
And despite the Bengals lack loss to record, this is a really good line up and a challenge for the Patriots.
And I think right now the Patriots could really use some sort of statement game to really come out and say, Here's who we are.
Here's what we do here is how good our offenses.
Here's how good our team is and just move forward with some sort of success.
And one of those places that the Patriots are going to have to find success is with their rookie receivers.
Let's get over it.
Antonio Brown is not coming back to the Patriots.
They can't trade for Odell Odell back old Odell Beckham Jr right now.
So it's gonna have to come down to Jacoby Meyers in the keel.
Harry, we've all had our different opinions on Jacoby Meyers and McKeel Harry Nikkila.
In my opinion, I don't think there was ever intentions to play him this season when you think about how things work, when you think about how things went down when he went on the i r a.
The beginning of the year, the Patriots had Josh Gordon do Marius Thomas, Julian Edelman and Philip Door set that Jacoby Meyers is their number five.
I truly believe that if it wasn't for this weird sort of, you know, whatever happened, Nikki Harry would have been basically red shirted this season.
Then the Patriots brought on brought in Antonio Brown.
To me, it's Antonio Brown that actually screwed everything up because then they trade away to Marius Thomas, who they would have got rid of if they didn't bring in Antonio Brown.
Antonio Brown leaves.
And now the Patriots are looking at Julian Edelman.
Josh Gordon, Philip Doorstep bumping up to number three instead of four where I thought he was supposed to sit.
And then Jacoby Meyers at number four.
And you got now Gotta bring in the keel.
Harry, for some reason that we're really still not sure of Josh Gordon fell out of favor, you know, with the Patriots.
And now that leaves Harry and Myers in a position that they need to perform.
And now this is when the veterans need to step up in some of them are Zach Cox and Next Ness and wrote an article today called Patriots Veterans share advice for rookies Jacoby Meyers and Akil.
Harry goes like this, says You know so tight.
And Ben Watson and wide receiver Mohamed Sanu are two of Brady's most experienced pass catchers, boasting 24 years of NFL experience between them.
Seenu, who spent four seasons in Cincinnati and three and 1/2 in Atlanta before joining the Patriots in October, said first year players must learn to quickly move past the mistakes will in inventively make on the field quote.
You can't get it back, the 30 year old said.
If you make a mistake, you make a mistake.
Just forget it and go on to the next play.
If everybody was perfect, we all wouldn't be here.
We'd all be doing something else and something different.
So just go out there and be you and be the best you can end.
Watson, who had 38 is New England second oldest player behind 42 year old Tom Brady, stressed the need to operate on a play by play basis to avoid getting overwhelmed.
Quote. I tell them the same thing.
I tell myself even now, he said.
Card compartmentalized the game.
When you look at a game or a game plan or your role, it can be kind of overwhelming the idea of plane in national games and just the level that we're playing at.
But if you can break those things down a play at a time, you can do Sorry if you could break those things down at each plate of time.
That is something that we remind ourselves off all the time.
It's one play at a time.
You can't do any more than the one play.
And whatever your assignment is on that play, do it the best of your ability on that play.
It seems simple, but sometimes it's difficult to do when the place start mounting in.
The pressure starts mounting when those things happen to me.
That's kind of how I deconstruct.
Injuries and roster decisions have thrust Myers and Harry into prominent roles in the New England struggling offense.
The former has been the Patriotssecond most productive wide receiver behind Julian Edelman since the start of October, but has had issues with drops and communication.
The ladder has made two dazzling plays, but it's still finding his footing.
After spending the first half of this season on injured reserve, Myers has 23 catches for 38 on 38 targets for 334 yards in 12 games.
Harry has five catches on 10 targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in four games.
Plus, he had another score that would have counted during Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Obviously, if the blunt RIFs refs weren't blind, I should say that Zach Cox didn't say anything about refs being blind.
I just wanted to add that in myself.
Look, like I said, I do not believe that the Patriots had any intentions of plain Nikkila Harry this season.
It's just I just don't And because of that, I think we've fallen into this trap of the expectations on him or high.
I could go back and look in my videos right now, but I think a lot of you remember I came out and said, I think right when he was still practicing was right before they can react to him.
I said We need to lower our expectations of Nikkila Harry because after he was drafted, a lot of people pumped through the roof.
I was one of the people toe pump up the expectations of the kill Harry.
I believe that McKeel Harry was gonna be this superstar on the Patriots.
That was before he went on the i R. For two weeks.
Now he's a rookie who started the season late, and this is where we are with him.
So I think we need to just chill a little bit and understand that it's a part of it and that McKeel Harry is just going to He's going to go through the motions and that's it.
All right, so I got one sort of NFL story I want to talk about before I turn it over to sports Cat of the SportsCastr fans.
And they ask many questions that I don't have any questions and I leave for the night.
Hopefully, they have questions.
SportsCastr, if you do, I'm starting my last subject now so you can start dropping him in. Then I'll start going through.
Chad has been quiet the last two nights, so hopefully you guys and get some things going.
I'm also competing with Thursday Night Football.
I understand that the Ravens and the Jets, but I read an article today by Jackson Court from this from the score, and it was NFL coach of the year odds.
Shanahan favored over Harbaugh and Tomlin, and that drove me absolutely insane because I see no reason that Mike Tomlin should not be the coach of the year in the NFL this year.
But if you give me a minute, I will read the article and then I'll give you my strong opinion on this one of the more wide open NFL seasons in recent memory has fittingly produced a wide open field for the AP Coach of the Year award.
But past winners can help us narrow the board down a bit.
Every winner since 1991 has finished with at least 10 wins, safe for the Colts in term co head coach Bruce Aaron's in 12 2009 and three and 12 games, and six of the last nine winners have won at least 12 games in Arians 2012 season was on the was on that pace.
This year's winner will almost assuredly hair from a top playoff contender.
He's also likely to come from a vastly improved club.
Of the last 15 winners, 12 coached a team coming off a losing season the year before the out Liars Bill ballot check in 2007 in 2010 who lost zero in two games in those respective seasons in areas in 2014 when he led the Cardinals to the playoffs for the first time in five years.
Despite plane second and third string quarterbacks, here are the odds for AP Coach of the year Kyle Shanahan has 2 to 1 odds.
Shanahan's open as a 10 to 1 favorite this summer and would follow that trend of recent winners.
The 40 Niners won four games last season and have already won 11 this year with three games left.
He also fits the prevailing narrative as an offensive innovator and rising star in a 27 team, Allah, 2017 winners Sean McVeigh and 2018 winner Matt Nagy.
If San Francisco finishes with the NFL's best record, it'll be hard to deny him that award.
However, the Niners lost the Ravens could be a factor if it's Shanahan versus Harbaugh for the hardware.
John Harbaugh is a 19 to 4 odds.
Baltimore won the division last year and hasn't had a losing season since 2015.
So the restoration angle that most coaches bank on to apply here don't doesn't apply here yet.
The highs the Ravens have reached this year rival those of some of the best teams in NFL history, which should count for something.
Offensive coordinator Gregg Roman gets much of the credit from Lamar Jackson's M V P caliber ascension, but Harboe deserves praise for trusting his dynamic quarterback this offseason in building a roster around him of Shanahan's team falters down the stretch.
Harbaugh is an easy choice.
Mike Tomlin is 5 to 1 odds.
It feels a Ziff Tomlin is the media's choice for this award.
He helped guide an injury riddled offense with the former practice squad quarterback to the brink of the playoffs and has extended his streak of consecutive seasons without a losing record.
The 13 that alone is enough to look hard at his five.
The one price the street conflicts with the turnaround narrative and Tom and Steam might not be good enough when compared to recent winners.
Still, there's an obvious presidents that area's one in 2014 by leading the 11 and five Cardinals to the playoffs.
Despite significant quarterback at attrition, The Steelers, eight and five, might need similar record to give Tom and a chance which would require wins over the Bills.
Jets, Ravens, um, to end the year.
Matt LaFleur, who's 10 and one right six of his last 13 seasons, have been first year head coaches, including the last two.
Can LaFleur continue that trend? His Packers have registered 10 wins after a two matchless 69 and one campaign, and 2018.
And they've got an outside chance of the NFC East top seed Sean Payton, who's 14 and one.
Well, I'm gonna knock him off, and I'm going to read what they had to say about him.
So let's go back to this.
Listen, Mike Tomlin is playing with hurt receivers.
He's on his third quarterback.
He's got sort of a makeshift defense.
His running back is injured.
You want to look at Shanahan, who has Jimmy Garoppolo, kiddo.
You know, like he's got a monster defense and you're gonna look at him and that's gonna be the guy.
I mean, I don't know.
I just to me it's I don't know how anybody.
But if the Pittsburgh Steelers make the playoffs, I don't know how anybody but Mike Tomlin is selected for Associated Press Coach of the Year.
I don't know what you guys think.
Maybe I'm out to lunch.
Maybe I'm the fool, but I think that the Steelers should be there and I love the comment that just said that there was just made.
Imagine if they would have Levy on Belle and Antonio Brown because they lost Brown after this after last season and belted even play, and yet they're in position to get there.
So that's where we're at.
If you guys have any questions here on SportsCastr, I'll take them.
If you don't, I would gladly say good night.
But it's up to you.
Bobby's phone is going to die.
