What's going on, everybody? It's Jerry Bailey.
The unwrap sports networks were still festive up in here.
Got the Christmas lights going on The job.
Wasn't Sidle gonna give your power rankings going into this week's games previewing our before the Thursday night given bar between the Ravens and the Jets? And then, Ah, lot of questions about Lamar Jackson right now in the quad injury.
What that could do for anybody who has him, a fantasy who will be playing him in fantasy.
What that could do for your fantasy playoffs is we all get to a little bit of that as well, so we'll start out with the power rankings, said everyone that we've done all season long.
I'm going to start with number 10.
I got the Steelers at number 10 and I don't feel too not confident about saying that.
Look, Duck Hodges three and I was a star This year.
They won their last two.
I picked them to lose this week in Arizona and really, the defense just came out and bawled out again.
Joe Hayden has three interceptions in his last two games, including two game sealing interceptions at the game sealer against Cleveland and then on Arizona's final drive to steal it for the Steelers.
Today, while it's incredibly defensive player that your candidate the same can be said about makeup, it's Patrick.
Their entire front seven has really come together, which is a big shock because of the losses to phone to it early on in the year he was having a career season before he went down with a season ending injury.
So I mean, look at Camp Hayward. A really good secondary.
TJ was defensive player. That your candidate.
The offense still is kind of in limbo, but Devlin Hodges is giving them a little bit more life.
And what we saw on Mason Rudolph James, Washington DeOnte DeOnte Johnson had a phenomenal game with the power turns out, shopping at the receiving touchdown, Benny smell starting to come into his own, really becoming more of that feature back in that offense so we could see.
I will see what the ramifications for that would be in the off season.
That is like maybe try to move up James Connor.
But on the less stealers playing great right now, going into a game in which they could become the fifth seed in the playoffs, hosting Buffalo on Sunday Night Football.
That's gonna be a fun game.
Speaking of the Bills, they are number nine in the power rankings, and you know, a lot of people gotta argue that they should be higher.
But when I was teams about them, it's not that I don't believe in Buffalo.
I've said all year long that the defense makes them real.
Josh Alan keeps getting better, and I really like them a lot.
But that said, I like the experience for all teams about talking about a little bit later, but Josh is playing really well, the Bills himself, playing with what? The defense is still playing just great.
I love what I see from Buffalo.
They did go down, obviously, to Baltimore this past week, letting they really contain the Lord Jackson, arguably in the best way that any team has this year.
So the Buffalo Bills defense playing great Um, Truman M is really young line, but I mean upset this all year long.
Emmons Boyer hide Everybody on that defense been really good, but offensively I mean John Brown Cole Beasley really emerges solid, receiving options for Josh Allen.
Josh Alan's accuracy wasn't very good this past week.
17 of 39 passing through the effort for Josh on.
That's gotta improve, especially against Ah really good Steelers defense on Sunday night in Pittsburgh.
So watch out for that to be a factor for Buffalo.
But that said, you're still number nine.
They're storing the number five seed in the playoffs playoff picture in the A F C. They're slow Number nine.
Number eight. I have the Patriots Offensively.
They're terrible defensively.
Be taken a big step back since they had that great first in a month and 1/2 stretch where they were just a historic defense.
Um, they can't do anything on offense the past with this past week.
And I always said the controversy with the McKeel Harry touchdown that was called back, um, and then that could be debated.
Obviously, it was a bad call, but there's been plenty of teams who have been victim to patriots.
Bad calls over the or not.
I'm gonna dive into that right now.
If you saw my Twitter rant yard, you know what I'm gonna talk about? But that said, um, there's still the number one team in the A F C East at the moment.
Still, hold on to, um, the number two spot right now in the A f.
So they would still get a first round bye if the playoffs ended today.
Um, and they still got Superman wearing number 12 and Bill Belichick on the silence.
There are missed a little bit of controversy right now with the whole Bangles taping situation.
We'll see how that plays out.
I don't think anything's gonna really come of that.
Um that said, they have had that number one or number two top three ish, you know, for the majority of the year for the past couple weeks past month.
Really, since the Baltimore game, they just bawling.
The defense has been really bad since that game.
Offensively, the offensive line's been terrible.
They can't run the ball that can't pass the ball.
They really just a horrible team offensively.
So obviously them being New England, we're gonna get the benefit of the doubt and see if they can figure this out.
We'll see what happens when the playoffs do you come, but they can figure it out.
Um, but right now the number eight, and they're just not playing like the pastries that we know.
The Packers spiders got to take it a step down for me.
I had them as the number one team Ah, lot earlier on in the year.
But defensively, they've taken a big step back there.
Passing defense hasn't been the best, as if it was one of the best men in the first month of the year.
You know, I was really praising that the young stages that they have.
But that said, You know, Preston is very Smith still playing great off the edging into better, any more help from the secondary and offensively air.
Rogers doesn't really have anybody to throw two.
Other than Davante, Adams has been hurt all year long.
Jimmy Graham is far past his prime.
Aaron Jones and Jamal Williams have been really nice comments out of the backfield, but in terms of receivers, they really don't have anybody besides to Monte Adams, who's been dealing with injuries all year long.
So, um, they've hit a little bit of turmoil as well as has every team, but this is something that Green Bay early on of you didn't really have these from before that Vontae Adam's injury and defensively.
They look great early on in the year and then as the seasons going on.
The past even just hasn't really been there.
So there's still number stepping.
They still hold the number one spot in the NFC North, although Minnesota's breathing right down their neck and a big game coming soon between those two teams to see you could take control of the divisions.
That would be fun, but as of right now, the Packers are number six.
My path, some number seven of my power rankings to number six.
I have the Seahawks.
I had the Seahawks usually around the top three for around the past month or so, but that said, I think over the last few games they've been kind of exposed.
You could even date back to the the past few months with that kind of been exposed.
They had to go to overtime to be Tampa Bay.
I've said all your own.
The defense isn't very good.
Russell Wilson really has to carry this team.
They don't really have a lot of weapons.
Other Ben Russell Wilson.
They have to win a lot of close games and about she's gonna bite him in the butt.
I pick the Rams toe win going into this week on it turns out, you know I was right.
The defense wasn't doing very good.
The offense kind, really Do anything against the Rams defense, and we're seeing kind of those flaws come more to the forefront for Seattle, Obviously, Russell Wilson's and VP candidate.
He's been playing great, Um, but other than that, they really don't have any anything big on the offense or defense.
It's not about getting on climbing.
Been a nice addition.
Quadri Diggs has been a nice addition, but they're still too inconsistent.
Don't really have that stud on either side of the ball besides Russell Wilson.
So their numbers six.
Right now, I have the Vikings, even though they're behind Green Bay in the division.
They've been playing better than agreement there, Number five right now, what? Kirk Cousins has come alive, and that is not something that, you know.
Anybody expect to be here after, especially that Chicago again went out of feeling, called him out, and he ended up bawling out Ever since that, um, the way that they're playing right now offensively, getting everybody involved, whether it's, you know, the rookie tight Inner Smith Jr.
Donna Cookson playing really well your long digs feelings about dealing with an injury all year long.
But they still been able to find a way to pull that offense together and get everything going defensively.
They've been really good.
I like the way Minnesota's playing right now.
I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if they were to take control of the division, be Green Bay in a few weeks and end up being the NFC North champion, depending on how the rest of the Packers schedules go.
But offensively, they're playing well defensively.
They're playing well, really well rounded team right now is Mess O's wife number five.
Kansas City's worth their way back into the top five.
Their number four defensively.
They've been alive the past few weeks.
They destroyed the Raiders on that side of the ball.
Tyron Matthews been really good.
Thornhill has been really good, and then, obviously, when Pat Mahomes got healthy, we've seen Tyreke.
He'll be, well, Travis Kelsey.
I'm not really used to what we're seeing from Travis Kelsey, but still playing solid.
The trio of running backs that they've been using on your long has been really good defensively that I mean that second, there has been a lot better on a timer, Matthew showing how much of an impact he makes.
I mean, that secondary.
So big props to the Chiefs.
They're my pick to make it to the Super Bowl from the A F.
As in right now on, they're playing great.
So the cheeseburger before the Saints coming off that the game of the year against the 40 Niners, when they lost 48 to 46.
They're still in my top three bait.
Defensively, Both teams were just kind of exposed a really great offensive play.
I think this is kind of an anomaly of just two great teams going at it and a lot of points scored.
Um, but New Orleans? They're still my pick from the NFC to get to the Super Bowl.
I love Drew Brees and playing great Michel Thomas's unguardable.
He's gonna get targeted a trillion times a game and catch almost all of them.
Um, obviously, like I said, both teams defensively didn't look great on Sunday.
Obviously they put up a lot of points but I'm not gonna take that.
You know, I'm not gonna take that too much into consideration, because I just don't see that happening again this year for either team.
But defensively, they do have a little bit of a question mark and secondary besides martial in Lattimore.
I'm not too big enough.
Bonne bell really in the secondary.
But, um, front seven came.
Jordan is a guy who was very slept on.
It has been a very good pass rusher.
He's only my contract that he got, um, offensively, though.
They've been doing everything that they need to dio They're gonna carry the same stupid Super Bowl this year.
I do believe defensively likes that Martian Lattimore, one of the very best corners in football.
They do have a little bit, um, of a hole in the secondary bus sized Martian Lattimore.
But I do like the Saints.
I think that they are the best team in the NFC when Austin done just based on experience, when it comes to the playoffs, I think they're gonna be the hardest team to be just based off their experience to number two. The 40 Niners.
They're the best team in the NFC right now.
But as I talked about, you know, a few months ago, teams that get hot don't make the Super Bowl that year that they get hot.
It didn't happen for several.
Other seems, um, and it's not gonna happen for the 40 Niners we saw last year.
Didn't happen for the Chiefs.
We've seen in many other instances where it hasn't had in front of teams.
Usually takes a year for, you know, a team to get good, and then they'll get, you know, a name change to get more suitable.
I think the 40 Niners off a deeply at least win a playoff game.
I wouldn't be surprised if you're in the NFC championship.
I don't think they're making it to issue a holdup.
That said great performance this past week by Jimmy Garoppolo In the offense, they were finally able to beat a good team that come really close this year.
They lost in overtime to Seattle.
They lost the buzzer, the Ravens and their finally able to win a big game on the road nonetheless against arguably the best team in the NFC.
So Garoppolo played really well.
I liked what I saw from the running back for played tremendous Emmanuel Sanders.
Really look good, George.
Kill Show what superpower He is our Superman.
He is on the final drive And that big play that he made.
So the 40 Niners Ah, lot of weapons on both sides of the ball again.
I'm not gonna take, you know, giving up 46 points into consideration.
That's an anomaly.
I think to me they still have the very best.
Defense is a football. I love the 40 Niners.
They are the best team Tennessee right now on their number two and the number one, the Baltimore Ravens.
Obviously, Mark Jackson's been on a tear all season long.
Defensively, they've gotten so much better since Marcus Peters came over from Los Angeles.
Having that trio of Earl Thomas, Marlon Humphrey and Peter's in the secondary has been game changing for their defense is really help their pass rush out a lot.
Um, as well, um, offensively we know they're gonna do.
They're gonna run the ball a lot.
Pass it down the field too much, but when he got titles like hating her, she's been playing really well.
He had a long touchdown this past week.
Um, they know what they're doing and they scheme for and they build your team around, but they want to do, they're gonna run the ball.
They gave Mark Jackson to good tight ends, a good offensive line of marking room in the back.
They know what they want to do.
Um, and marquees Hollywood Brown can make the occasional deep route and take it all the way.
So they're built to win this way.
So I think gonna make the Super Bowl this year.
I think it's the same reason that I don't think the 40 Niners will.
They just got hot for the first time this year.
I think it'll take at least a year for them to make it all the way.
But as of right now, they are the best team in football, and they're exciting to wash the fund of watch.
We'll see how they do tomorrow against the Jets.
Um, Lamar Jackson dealing with a quad injury which will transition us into our next segment.
But first, let me recap my top 10 from 10 to 1 Steelers and number 10 number nine.
The Bills number eight.
The Patriots number seven.
The Packers six.
The Seahawks five.
The Vikings for the Chiefs.
Three. The Saints, too.
The 40 Niners and number one. The Ravens.
So there's a transition into, um, the news about Lamar Jackson dealing with someone of a quad injury.
Some are saying that he was questionable, even play tomorrow, Um, and they would turn the robber girl from the third against the Jets.
Um, saying you know, they want They don't really need to win this game per se on.
Do they think they probably take care of the Jets without Mark Jackson in the starting lineup? Turning to Robert Griffin, the third very capable backup, a guy who has been a starting this week has been very much like Lamar endlessly before he dealt with a similar injury.
So I think they're gonna take that and into consideration.
I wouldn't be surprised it off. Robert Griffin.
The third wasn't Lamar's.
You're saying Hey, just take this one easy.
I've been there, I've done that.
I rushed back very too soon, and it's led to me not having the career that a lot of people, myself included, would have thought s so I can very well see Robert Griffin, Um, getting the start tomorrow.
Or at least they kind of rotating cause, I mean, we've seen them work Robert Griffin, the third into the into the offense this year.
I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if they just maybe went half snaps here if they would just let Lamar run 50% 50% of the staff to let Robert run the other half.
I think if they were still gonna incorporate Lamar into the lineup, that's a good way to do it, Um, but also conserved his quad, um, for the playoffs.
So if they do decide to not play Lamar tomorrow, um, that's gonna leave a lot of you in limbo who have Lamar Jackson in your fantasy team looking for a quarterback.
Now, if you play in a week by weekly, whether it's on sleeper, you off or anything like that, if you play an elite that doesn't go two weeks at a time for playoffs, you can check and see.
You know what quarterbacks available Guys like Ryan Tannehill are still available on a lot of leaks.
Not a lot of guys buying and Ryan Sandel, if you could get Ryan's hand held this week.
Going up against Houston has been on a tear the past, really, since he became a starter.
So the past couple months, Ryan San has been playing very well.
Pick up Ryan San.
How Cuyler Murray might be available in some leaks.
His his play wasn't too great last week.
Drew Lock, Another guy who's become the Broncos starter, has had a really good to game stretch and see worked his way into the starting line of five touchdowns, 237 yards a game. Four.
If he's another guy that you could take and plug him in.
Derek Carr, another one who is available in decent battle leagues they could plug in.
And if you're in a pinch, Andy Dalton is available in most leagues.
He's been playing well as of late.
They are going as the Patriots this week, so that might not be the move to get him this week.
But going forward if you want to, but I think that we should get Derek Carr.
If Kirk Cousins is available, Um, Drew lock would be a kind of a risk, especially facing Houston.
Not facing but the fact that, um, he's on Lee in his third career start, Um, we'll see what Drew Lockwood have to.
Let me do pull up.
What? Who? They are going to play Houston last week.
Let's see here they're playing this week.
Um, but if Drew Lock is available, he would be a risky pick up again just cause he is in his Onley third career start this week.
Um, but he's looked good.
Last week had the really good game gets Houston in Houston, in which he lit up the Texans defense.
Stephenson playing really well.
They are heading to Kansas City this weekend, so that would be a risky one, especially playing and get the chief's defense.
He has been playing well as of late.
So Kirk Cousins when I pick up Kyle Emery's when I pick up, if he's available, Baker Mayfield started become available in more leaks.
So if you're in a pinch, I take Baker Mayfield go Derek cars Well, so there's a lot of guys out there that could fill a void.
Jared Goff has become available in all a lot of leads as well, from when his play went downhill early on in the year, so Jared Goff is also available.
But Ryan Sandals available in your league.
Go ahead and wrap him regardless of your quarterback is just so nobody else could have.
So that is the stream for today before the Sunday Games.
As always, I'll give you your fantasy advice and, um, my Big Five bets to make this weekend, as I do every week.
So had you up later on in the week.
Whether it be maybe Friday or Saturday depends on when we get on to do it, get you a couple streams in and get you some game picks as well before the Sunday slate begins.
I'm Jerry Bailey of the Unwrap Sports never thank you for tuning into the stream.
