in today's show, we're going to discuss the Cincinnati Bangles reporting that the Patriots sent a camera crew to their game on the weekend.
Is this another cheating scandal or just a waste of our time? Is it only a matter of time until the New England Patriots offense figures things out and we start or we start in tow? Watch the end of an era with the offense struggling to find continuity.
Who needs to step up and make a play for the Patriots? The Patriots defense is still New England's best unit, but the Baltimore Ravens, Houston, Texas and the Kansas City Chiefs were able to move the ball and score points.
Our team's starting to figure out the defense.
The taxes in the chief's both figured out how to beat the Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones with the deep ball.
Is this going to become a problem for New England? And if so, how can Bill Belichick fix it? And the NFL officials played a big part in the Patriots lost last night.
And it's not just the Patriots problem, it's an NFL problem.
And what can the league do to fix this embarrassment? All that and more here on DPS and thank you for everybody who's tuning into my little show here Live on SportsCastr and Your Boy Ray.

News broke today that our New England Patriots sent a camera crew to Cleveland this weekend to shoot some footage for an upcoming Do your job, mini doc.
That will go up on patriots dot com and YouTube.
The issue is because they're filming a scout.
The camera crew was present while the Patriots next opponent, the Cincinnati Bengals, were plain fascination.
Are we on the verge of another scandal rocking the New England Patriots, or is this a whole lot of nothing? Let's talk about it, and here's the whole thing.
If Bill Belichick was going to go out and send a camera crew if he was going to attempt to try to find an edge over a team, I understand the New England Patriots are struggling Right now.
I understand that things aren't going great for the offense.
I understand that the defense maybe hasn't looked as sharp as it could over a couple of games.
Why in God's name? Why in God's name with Bill Belichick, choose the Cincinnati Bengals? Bell check is not a stupid man.
There's no way he's gonna test the Waters again after the whole, you know, Spy Gate, the Bacal back in 2007 and out of all the teams in the world to do to the Cincinnati Bengals.
I don't even know what to say anymore, right? It just, you know, every single season.
There's something right every single season.
There's something pointing at the Patriots.
They talk about 20 years of cheating and all that kind of bull on.
I always love when people bring up the tuck rule.
You know, people like the page has been treating for 20 years, when all the way back to the Raiders game, when gentle during the Tuck rule, as if the Patriots made up the rule and as if the Patriots supplied the referees for the game, you had the flake gate that was, you know, a whole bunch of nothing.
Did Tom Brady have some footballs deflated? Maybe I'm not even denying that it couldn't have happened.
The whole fact of the matter is, is Aaron? Rodgers admitted.
He likes the balls a little harder, right? The a year after Deflate Gate, the Pittsburgh Steelers did it.
They were just warned not to do it again.
I mean, it's all these little sing Chrissy's Okay, Spy Gate was spiking.
That was 2007 were in 2019.
Why are we bringing this kind of stuff up? But do you think that Bill Belichick is stupid enough that he's gonna send a crew and drop stuff right in the middle and say, Here, just film right out in the open like I mean, especially since he knows the league is watching, basically every move that he makes.
But I always love when some sort of scandal comes out.
Even though I got a funny feeling this one's gonna get cleared up very quickly.
Every credible reporter out there is saying that this is just it's all gonna get blown over as a misunderstanding that includes Rapid Port that includes Adam Schefter.
There's one ESPN reporter I think she might cover.
Cincinnati, you know, exclusively was trying to say that there's lots of film of, you know, the opposing team's sideline and Bubba Bubba Blah Bill ballot Check says He has nothing to do with that crew, and I believe it.
Why would build ballots that care about to do your job? Mini do***entary? You know, that's all promotion, that's all that kind of thing.
I'm sure he's ****ed that that crew now because he's got to deal with this aftermath because of it.
Those guys don't even report the ballot shack.
They report to Robert Kraft.
So it's, you know, I'm sure that this is just a nuisance to him, And it is.
I don't want to spend any more time on this subject.
It's just stupid.
I'm sure it's gonna get blown out of proportion.
I'm sure it's gonna become national media.
It's so convenient to erase.
You know all the referee mistakes on Sunday night just to pin something back on the New England Patriots.
But look, let's talk about football.
The Patriots offense is probably playing the worst football we've ever seen, and yet they're still in almost every single game they play lost by touchdown to the Kansas City Chiefs.
They were a Brandon Bolden, you know, two inches higher off the ground against the Texans of possibly winning the game.
So I guess we gotta ask, you know, is it only a matter of time until we start seeing it, you know, breaking out, or are we starting to see the end of an era in New England? And I think the easy answer is is we just gotta wait for things to break out.
When you look at the Patriots offense, when you really break it down, when you get over the drops, when you get over the lack of points when you get over all that kind of stuff, the Patriots offense isn't actually that bad Patriots offense, sort of.
It's not in great shape by any means.
But you know what? You look at the the Jackal.
Mayer drop on third down last night.
You look at the Mohammed's the new drop on fourth down.
You look at the Edelmann dropped James White drop you look at the touchdown being called back on the keel.
Harry, you look at the Jacoby drop in the end zone.
You look at the interception and ultimately you're starting to see good things from the Patriots.
What we really need to see is everything.
Start clicking at once.
We need to see the running game work.
And I talked about last night and look, man, I've been the biggest, biggest Sony Michelle defender this whole season.
But I got I had to call him out last night.
The Patriots needed him and Birkhead to perform and they didn't.
And I think for this Patriots offense to be successful going down the road, the running game has to work.
It doesn't have to be dominant.
The Patriots don't have to be a, you know, a ground and pound team like to turn into last season.
They don't have to be a team that you know it is lives and dies by the run game because you can.
You can see that the Tom Brady is throwing good footballs.
I know a lot of people are blaming Brady on that interception.
I don't if you look what happened.
The guy who intercepted the ball was actually covering Julian Edelman.
He actually got beat on the route which put him in a different direction.
He was in the right place at the right time.
Tony Romo said it.
Deon Sanders said it.
The only idiots that are saying that it was It was Max Kellerman and and Ah, my boy Nick.
Right? So whatever you know, it is what it is.
Things were working for the Patriots in the past game guys just weren't catching the ball and you think about it.
If guys would catch the ball, if they would call the pass interference against Philip Door set.
If all those little things would happen, we'd be talking about a 250 yard day at 300 yard day for Tom Brady, a couple of touchdowns.
Unfortunately, the Patriots receivers are having a a big problem getting open.
And one of my, I think, was a follower on camera for the follow on YouTube by camera on a Twitter.
I can't remember it here on SportsCastr, but somebody talked about Josh McDaniels and said, not blaming Josh McDaniels for the season.
But he's got to try something with the route running to try to get them open.
I could buy into that a little bit, but I think at some point Josh McDaniels is sitting there going like Look what I'm working with What do you want me to do with the players that I'm working with? I got Jacoby Meyers wide open down the field on what should have been a touchdown play and the other some contact.
And, yeah, he drew the past interference.
But I think Josh Gordon makes that catch.
Antonio Brown definitely makes that catch.
I think Phillip Dorsett makes that catch, you know? So it's you're just waiting for them to make plays.
It's the receivers I need to make place, the place where there and what we're seeing that we haven't seen with the Patriots before.
Our guys uncharacteristically dropping the ball, we saw, You know, one of the biggest ones I saw was last week against Houston, and Brady threw a ball.
The costs, which was a classic Patriots, play a throat of the receiver at the seams three yards short of the first down.
That's a Rob Gronkowski 15 yard run down the field. That's an Aaron Hernandez.
That's a Michael Bennett or Martellus Bennett.
That's a 10 15 year old run down the sidelines.
Easy, Matt Lacoste drops the block, and that's the kind of stuff that we're seeing right now.
We're just seen the guys on the field not adjusting.
So I don't know.
You know, I don't know what's happening, why they can't get it together.
And but I don't think that this Patriots offense is really as bad as it looks.
They're not executing, and I agree with a lot of you.
I mean, if you saw my stream last night, I was ****ed after the game.
****ed, you know, and it was just guys, lack of plays, lack of run plays, lack of everything and I don't know.
And we got some breaking news here.
Ducky just put out There is a statement by the New England Patriots, and it says like this.
For the past year, the New England Patriots content team has produced a serious of behind the scenes features on various departments within the organization.
The seven previous Do your Jobs episodes.
Air archives on patriots dot com.
On Sunday, December 8, the content team said the three person video crew to the Bengals Browns game at the first Energy Stadium in order to capture one of the longer features on the Patriots scouting department.
In the case of Patriots Pro Personnel Scout, while he was working in the press box while we saw it and were granted credentials access from the Cleveland Browns.
For the video crew, our failure to inform the Bangles and the league was an unintended oversight.
The addition to filming the scout, the production crew, without specific knowledge of the league rules, inappropriately filmed the field from the press box.
The sole purpose of the filming was to provide an illustration of an advanced scout at work on the road.
There was no intention of using the footage or for any other purpose.
We understand and acknowledge that our video crew, which included independent contractors who shot the video, unknowingly violated a league policy by filming the field and sidelined from the press box.
When questioned, the crew immediately turned over all footage to the league and cooperated fully.
The production crew is independent from our football operation.
While aware that one of the scouts was being profiled for a do your job episode, our football staff had no other involvement whatsoever in the planning, filming or creative decisions made during the production of these features.
We accept full responsibility for our actions of our production crew at the Browns Bengals game.
Who? Wow, that changes everything.
I'm gonna be honest.
I believe I believe this.
And not because I don't know.
Not because I'm a patriot fan, because I have talked bad about the Patriots before.
I just I just talked about Tom Brady.
Probably did deflate some footballs.
I just thought it was B s because other teams have done it.
I believe that this was a production crew.
I don't think Bill Belichick had anything to do with the production crew.
Who's making a video for Do your job? Mmm.
I mean, that was a statement directly by the New England Patriots, so they know they admitted it.
So we'll have to see what the league does.
I think that this is an unfortunate incident.
Um, yeah, We'll have to see.
I just I just to me I can't see Bill Ballot Shack risking another spy gate.
And he's probably gonna have to deal with the aftermath of this Now.
The Patriots could possibly lose draft picks over a PR stunt, and it's disappointing.
And I just spent the first what, six minutes of our of the show talking about.
You know how I don't buy the how.
I don't I don't buy it.
And why would we Really? Why would we scout the Penghu? Ls I mean, it is.
But Bill Belichick can't be that arrogant to think that I'm going to do it again.
Kenny, you know, here's an opportunity.
Hey, since you're down there, try to film their sideline for a while.
And if he was going to do that, like, why would it be the Bangles? And I can see what what you're saying, Bobby, but about Bell ejected it to everybody.
Mangini knew it.
He just happened to ride out the Patriots when it had to do with the Jets, right? But it was It was more than the Jack.
That's why Mangini knew about it.
Cause was happening before.
I just I don't I don't know.
I can't see Bala Jack doing this.
And then my phone is It's just started going like crazy.
It's a lot of people with a lot of nonsense to say that I'm gonna have to ignore until after this show, but yes.
So, um all right, So the patriots admitted to it Nothing we couldn't really say.
Now this is gonna be a wait and see.
I'm really hoping that Ah, that the league buys the explanation and I really do believe them.
I didn't believe that Tom Brady didn't know about football's.
You can talk me about ideal gas law and all that kind of stuff.
I never believed Tom bring. You didn't have knowledge.
Why did the equipment guy take the balls of the bathroom? You know, it all looked pretty obvious.
Um, yeah, but I mean, if it's if this is, you know, I believe I buy this.
I can't see Bala check risking it for the one and 12 Bangles.
As for punishment, I have no idea what it's gonna be.
I got a funny feeling, though, that he's gonna be more involved now in what happens behind the scenes when it comes to filming this team and making these little do***entaries because it's gonna impact the football team.
That's gonna impact a lot of things.
Be ready for ah, you know, be ready for the backlash from fans around the league.
They're going to say it was done on purpose over cheating blub above a block.
I don't know what? Right now, we kind of got to take it on the chin because the patriot just admitted to filming the sidelines.
Um, we'll take it on the chin, let it play out.
I have no idea what's gonna happen.
All right, So that really derailed the show? Um, uh huh.
Like, why couldn't that chemo 10 minutes before I started talking? And I know when this replay goes up on YouTube because people don't watch it as long as you guys, My average view time is like 10 minutes.
And I started this about 15 minutes in.
I know that people are going to go crazy, and they're going to say, Ray, you don't know what you're talking about.
They already admitted to it.
A Baba Baba blonde.
I just hope that they watch the whole video.
Um, I guess what I won't be doing I won't be.
Um I won't be reading the comments.
Ah, I think you d was mad at me right now.
Anyways, I've lost a ton of subscribers over the last two weeks or so.
I don't know what's going on, but it's actually started building up today.
It kind of surprised me maybe could actually got mad at the Patriots.
I think people thought maybe I was too much of a homer, but that's for another day.
I want to get back to this offense.
So so look, obviously, for a lot of us, this has been a drastic change of the offense.
We're not used to this.
We're not used to the offense being the problem.
What exactly are the Patriots missing and who needs to step up to get things done? I talked about it last week.
I know, and it's It's the run game, Yes, but more specifically, it's the tight ends, and Tony Romo talked about it.
Deon Sanders talked about it.
I talked about it last week.
Even Max Kellerman talked about it.
Everybody's talking about him.
Every good team in the league.
Every team that's having success has a capable tight end to throw the ball to.
So far this year, the Patriots tight ends have been absolutely garbage and ah, it's it's too bad because it's a position that that we've grown accustomed to being good.
It's a position that we have grown accustomed to, you know, it being somewhat of ah, reliable position, even in the times that Gronkowski was hurt.
There was always somebody.
There was the Martellus Bennett to the world that would step up and play, you know, one and the Patriots at one point, everyone's who invented the double headed monster.
We know when they had Aaron Hernandez before he got into, you know his trouble.
But I think the tight ends you to step up and more specifically, Matt Lacoste, because he seems to be the guy that has the most mobility.
He seems to be the guy that used on the Fuel DME or he's definitely taken over as the number one tight end, and he's done a fair job blocking and he's got a couple catches here and there.
But I think in order for the pages to be successful, it's got to be the middle of the field and it's gotta be Matt Lacoste.
He has to make those seem catches.
He has to pick up those big chunk yards, you know, possibly Ryan iso upon Ryan Israel's return.
We've seen him make plays with Brady, but is those hurt forever plus a day? So I think right now Matt Lacoste is the guy that needs to focus.
We need to focus on a mat.
Lacoste is the guy who needs to step up and, you know, moving away from the Patriots offense a little bit.
I want to talk about the defense.
You know, the Patriots defense.
You know, it's been outstanding all season, but Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens were able to push him around a little bit.
The Houston Texans were able to push them around on in the first half of yesterday's game.
The Chiefs were able to score 20 points.
Is the defense getting worse, you know, or our team starting to figure them out? What's going on with the Patriots? I don't think it's either.
When you talk about this defense, I'm gonna be honest with you.
I don't I don't think either it it's gonna happen.
I don't think that they're getting worse.
I don't think they're being figured out.
I think that the more you're on the field, the more susceptible you are to place happening.
The problem is the Patriots aren't holding onto the ball for very long, and if you look, the Patriots are being out possessed on a lot, or if they're not a possession is just because the other team is coming so strong.
But we're seeing a lot of three and outs.
We're seeing a lot of just miserable.
It's I don't know.
It's just that I put a lot of it.
You know, I remember at the sorta at the beginning of the season, Joe asked me a question and he said Is the defense is good as it is, or is that a product of the offense? And I remember saying that.
I thought it was a combination of both.
The defense was historically good, but obviously, you know, it's obviously it's, you know, it's a product of of the offense as well and I think we're really starting to see it, especially as we got into the meat of the Patriots schedule and it's been disappointing because we talked about the meat starting when they played the Cleveland Browns and they beat Cleveland, which was test number one and they lost the Baltimore they got pushed around.
They came back, beat Philly, beat Dallas, where really the defense looked outstanding, got pushed around Houston and got pushed around in the first half yesterday.
But the Patriots aren't helping them, either.
You think about, you know, the fort.
14 of those 23 points that the Chiefs put up one was an interception.
They started with the ball to 29 yard line, the other end of the block field goal.
They started almost midfield.
You know, this Patriots offense, I think, is bad because it's been so bad that defense has been a product of it.
They're being more susceptible to plays, and I mean, they got two turnovers last night.
They intercepted a ball, they forced the fumble.
You know, special teams got it.
I got a block, and I mean, it's, you know, and I think that that's what's going on with the defense.
I think that it's it's still playing well, I think one of them that's going out the Patriots is the defense aren't scoring points.
We're not putting the Patriots in a position to score points, you know, I guess the 50 yard line or 40 yard line River Jason Jackson ended up with the ball wasn't good enough for the Patriots, who got zero points, actually, when the field goal was blocked, which led to seven of Kansas City's points and when we came out of the defense, we can't expect them to have to score for the team, right? So I don't think the defense been figured out at all.
I just think they're on the field a lot.
There might be one thing, though, right? One thing that has become evident is that the last two weeks we've seen that teams have sort of figured something out about the Patriots quarterback Jonathan Jones, the Texans Burne Jones twice on a deep ball and the chief's got him on a deep ball yesterday.
No, prior to the Texans game Pro Football **** focus had Jonathan Jones as the Patriots Most productive corner.
And, you know, will the deep ball continue to be a problem for Jones? And what Campbell a cheque do to fix that problem? Because that's one of the one of the pieces that were seen.
And I think that, you know, from a fixed standpoint, you know, maybe he's got to go back with.
Maybe he needs safety help.
And if you need safety help, that's gonna change a lot of what the Patriots do defensively.
But I think when we play slingers we play guys who can throw the ball, we're going to see him get Burnt Maur and Maura and Maur as that season goes on.
So I think teams are gonna know they're going to attack him.
I don't You're not gonna take him out in the short game.
He's proved how well he can play the short game.
He's proved that, you know, good luck.
But I think they're going to try to take their shots.
They're gonna try to put Speedsters.
As long as they have a fast receiver and Jonathan Jones on him, they'll start throwing.
Then they'll go deep.
Which tells me that either you gotta have Jonathan Jones in the slot, where they're gonna be a little bit more traffic where you can have a little bit more contact or they need to put up.
You can't be up against a speedster and they have to put safety help on top again.
And that will change what the Patriots do because they haven't really been playing with safety help much at all.
So I don't know.
It's ah, it's It's probably the only If I was gonna talk about a glaring hole on the defense or weakness on the defense.
That's probably where it is.
It's Jonathan Jones, and I think the only way that Bill Pal check can help him is to either play him tight and make sure that he's jamming on the line of scrimmage in the past.
Russ gets to the quarterback a little quicker, you know, sometimes to yesterday.
Patrick Mahomes had a lot of time to throw, and I talked about how the more time he has to throw, the more these receivers can create separation.
That's why we saw guys get catches on stuff on Gilmore.
So that's just what they had to do.
Um, you know, And with Patrick Chung going out yesterday, that changes things again, too.
I mean, poor Patrick Chung is just, you know, he gets injured every single game.
At which point is the season over? You know, I don't know, right? You know, the only positive that came out yesterday, the Patriots being burnt on what should have been two touchdowns is that no fan base can turn around now and say that NFL officials of the Patriots 12 men.
But the officiating is becoming a problem across the league, and it's been absolutely frustrating.
It's been downright embarrassing.
I'm embarrassed for them.
The new keel Harry touched down, and the what could have been a scoop and score first upon Gilmore on the Travis Kelsey fumble dictated the outcome of the game.
And this isn't only a Patriots problem.
This is an NFL problem.
The problem extends beyond the field of play teams air challenging, obvious, obvious calls.
And they're not being overturned because I don't want to embarrass the referees who are proving on a week to week basis that they're an adequate at doing their jobs.
You know the league needs to do something, and it can't wait until the summer.
Roger Goodell needs to stop focusing on suspending players for D H C and deflated footballs and cameras and actually start defending the shield he likes to turn to when it fits his narrative.
Because I guarantee you now with this whole spy gate 2.
0, the shield is gonna be referenced.
And yet the referees, behaviors and adequate sees in their job have been an embarrassment to the shield the whole season, you know? And what can the NFL do to fix the job that there you know the joke that these referees have become number one, and this just got highlighted yesterday, clearly on the new keel Harry play.
And it's something I've been talking about with my friends and family and be talked about on this channel way before DP and Sports Talk, a k a formerly dear Pats nation, even existed or even was a thought in my mind, I thought, If you can challenge a scoring if it of a scoring plays reviewed automatically, why is that? A play that looked like it could have been a scoring plane, not reviewed automatically? I mean, the whole fact of the matter is a Nick right talked about it this morning and I had to agree with him on some point.
He said, You know, we understood that there's gonna be mistakes and they fixed the problem by giving the Patriots or by giving coaches challenges.
And I will reiterate what I said yesterday.
Okay, Yes, the referees screwed the Patriots, but the Patriot put themselves in a position to be screwed.
The Patriots put themselves in a position where they needed to score the user challenges.
Bill Belichick challenge the spot.
You know, lost the challenge, won the challenge on the fumble.
It's unfortunately lost to because the referees were wrong.
They were wrong on the review as well.
But the reason there's challenges is because NFL officials are wrong so much.
And I want officials to stand up on a podium and take questions from the media, not just talkto one newspaper, that they know it's friendly to them.
I want them to stand in front of the podium and take multiple questions.
Explain what happened and if you're gonna have a challenge system, if you're gonna have a replay system, either review everything or let's go back.
If this look, if there was no review and it was just human element in human air, I could accept what happened yesterday because what happened to everybody, It would happen all the time across the league.
I think when there's technology available that's not being used, it's frustrating.
If I was gonna fix the problem, it would be coaches get one challenge per game and if they get that challenge right to get another one in it to get that challenge right, they get another one in it to get that challenge right to get another one, and as soon as you lose the challenge, you lose a time out and you get no more challenges.
And coaches wouldn't use their challenge as willingly as you think they would, because they would have to be 110% correct in order for them to use it.
Because if they lose it once they lose it, it's gone.
So I don't know.
I just think that if you have review, use it, you know, I didn't want review in baseball.
I still don't want review in baseball.
I like the human air and baseball.
I don't like that. The review in place.
When a guy's holding his glove on somebody's leg to see if his foot comes up in engine, they're calling the guy out.
And yet there is no review on strike zones that are atrocious in Major League Baseball.
If anything should be computerized, it should be the strike zone.
I watch TV and they had the little blocks there, Joe.
The reason that building called timeout force reviews because it was over two minutes.
It only goes up to it only goes to the booth under two minutes.
Besides, that did the challenge.
Jack was out of challenges because he used his town challenges before, so the plate couldn't be challenged.
The Patriots had to run a play.
But, I mean, there's so much technology out there and I agree with what I'm seeing here, you know, in tennis they have a thing.
It's all computerized.
The ball hit the line, didn't hit the line.
You can do that with Sidelines.
You know where the referees just put your whistle in the pocket and review it after huddle up and make a decision.
But I think that's right.
Confer And again, I'm using the pages an example, because the Patriots game meant something to me.
But we saw it while we saw it in the in the NFC championship last season.
We saw it in the We saw it in the and the Saints versus the Rams again at the beginning of this season.
Another scoop and score.
So I mean, yeah, and I'm seeing things here in I mean, it's it's like this is well, it's Why not just let New York control everything, like the NHL, you know, they control everything on scoring plays in that kind of thing.
It's front and it's free.
It's across the league.
And, you know, there was bad calls on the chief yesterday, too.
There was a phantom hold, the phantom blindside block chase winter, which probably should have been called on a roughing the passer.
But yesterday the referees dictated the outcome of the game.
They dictated the outcome of a game, all right, there's no proof to say that.
There's no proof to say that, All right, you know that scooping.
You know that that that scoop and score definite what happened? Tyree Kill was coming and could have stopped him, but the new keel Harry touchdown was definitely touched down.
The difference is when the Patriots get into the you know, the three yard line at the end of the game.
It's a fuel goal, not a touchdown.
Try, and I get that Jacoby Meyers could have caught that ball in it.
It's meaningless anyways, But the whole fact that matter is they cheated the Patriots out of a touchdown and they went home and they slept well that night because you know that there's no, you know the job's not in jeopardy, held them.
They'll probably wrapped the Super Bowl because it's not like any other crew's been any better this year.
So you know, it's and it's happening all over the league.
And I remember when the referees were on strike there a couple years ago, it was that Seattle Green Bay game when those, you know, the replacement officials dictated the outcome of a game and no referee should ever dictate.
I want to come on here and talk about football, and we're talking about officials and for all of you who have been watching me, you know, since I've been on SportsCastr, you know that this is not the first time I talked about referees, and none of it was related to the New England Patriots, and none of it.
It was all related to other things.
It was the DeAndre Hopkins No.
One pass interference call, even after being challenged.
You know, it was exactly that The referees have been a problem for a long time, so I don't know.
They got to do something that they've dictated.
You know what? The official? They struck a deal with the real rafts after the Green Bay Seattle game because the the replacement wraps dictated the outcome of a game.
Well, now your referees, not the replacement referees, your referees just dig actually dictated the outcome of the game.
Unfortunately, was the Patriots for so many different reasons.
Unfortunately, it was the Patriots because we lost the game.
Unfortunately, it was the Patriots, because now we have to hear the wham Wham Patriot fans are crying b s.
Unfortunately, you know, it happened because now people are just talking about it, saying while the pages deserted because they've been the beneficiary of calls and I know they have that Jesse James fund in completion, that was a touchdown that Austin Seferian Jenkins, you know, fumble for a touchback.
That was a touchdown.
I know by rule they weren't.
But I'm a football fan and it discusses me that those kind of plays don't work and that they're getting called back.
It's a joke. It's an embarrassment.
Chiefs fans can wine and cry all they want about a roughing the passer call on Tom Brady in the NFC championship game that didn't dictate the end of the game.
You still could have stopped him the New England Patriots literally lost six points because of the officials.
Penalties do not dictate games.
You know, the passenger fears in the end zone with the Carolina Panthers a few years ago.
I don't think that that dictated the game because even if they called it and give the Patriots another opportunity, there's no guarantee the Patriot going to score and I get.
There's no guarantee that the Patriots gonna drive the ball down the field and kick a field goal.
Maybe if the pages score touchdown there, Kansas City gets a little bit more fired up and goes down the field and tries to score.
That could make it a two score game.
You and I get all that, but when you look at the reality of it, the Patriots had to settle for a field goal and then got down to the three yard line and tried to throw a touchdown on fourth down.
When that could have been a Fuel will try to tie the game and the page.
It's going very well lost in overtime.
We don't know how that would have dictated out, but they dictated the fact that they didn't even get to get there because of the officials in the NFL.
Need to do something about it.
They need to do something, need to come up with some sort of solution.
I think people need.
Referees need to be accountable, and I think that they need to answer to the media.
Just like every player scrutinised every coach's scrutinised.
Every owner is scrutinized because I want to come out here and talk about football and that's it.
All right, SportsCastr.
You guys have been active in those chats.
What's crack? A lacking? We all want to know that.
I mentioned that it was Marshall Newhouse who let Thea let the Chiefs defender come in to block the field goal.
I know everybody got mad mad at ah, Nick folk.
And then I saw that it was Marshall Newhouse who let him through.
He came right between Marshall Newhouse and and Marcus Cannon.
And it was Marshall Newhouse's thing.
And ah, I thought, of course it Waas.
Who else would it be That's gonna do that, Joe? I don't know.
I think we're facing Dalton.
They gave him the starting position back.
I believe who knows what's going on with the Ah, let's find out if I Google Bangles.
It's the friggin The cheating scandal is going to come off. I know.
I want to know if Andy Dalton's playing or not.
Oh, no, they're not even talking about it.
Although there are no, they are talking about it hole there talking about it like crazy.
Um, I don't know.
I know that Andy Dalton.
One his position back.
I'm not exactly sure who we're playing.
I've been taking a deep dive into ah into New England yet.
Maybe they will give me the footage that they took on the weekend and I could take a look at that.
Ah, but I'll probably do my I'll probably start my initial dive.
I usually start talking about the games on Wednesdays, so I start doing my initial dive on.
Ah, you know, my initial look in tomorrow.
And then on Wednesdays, when I'll do my big, deep dive and start talking about different things I'm gonna want to talk about Yeah, man.
We dubbed him the he who shall not be named.
Ah, we have Ah, we have outhouse.
We've a lot of different names for Marshall Newhouse.
We've come up with a lot.
We sometimes we use curse, and we know that it's Marshall. Newhouse.
Uh, um, yeah, that's all the one where the Patriots more, you know, Rhino says.
That's why we're filming to figure out you know who the quarterback was.
Absolutely, We weren't filming to see signals.
We want to know who's playing quarterback this week, and that's all.
The Patriots are worried about those one and 12 Bangles.
Look, I talked about it last night.
I couldn't see the Patriots walking into Cincinnati, stomping on them, kicking the crap out of him.
And to me, it means absolutely nothing.
It's the Bangles.
The only thing the Bengals beat are the, you know, the Jets.
And have you noticed that no Bangles fan is upset about this? It's everybody else because Cincinnati Bengal fans want the Patriots to beat them.
They want they want that first round draft pick.
You know, they're getting worried about things that the Bangles could win.
A couple more games.
Sh Oh, I love when I make myself laugh, It's great.
Knew how should be cut, and we should resign.
He is over his clots.
And Dante Scarnecchia Ah, could do more with him than the outhouse.
Yeah, I know. Absolutely.
Um I think I should go block for them. Joe Over.
Marshall Newhouse, Give me a week.
I could get myself back.
An offensive lineman shape? Yeah.
Ah, they run a scarier offense.
And the Ravens, they run a scarier offense, but they can't execute the offense.
That's that's the difference.
The Patriots ex ex, you know, run one of the scariest offenses and lead that is Can't execute it.
We all remember Tom Brady and his glory days, and he was just pounding those balls, you know, up the field.
I mean, that's what it was.
Man Joe Borough's going to Cincy.
Yeah, I'm gonna be really interesting with two, uh, does because I think if he's not looked at is the first round or first overall pick.
He's gonna go back and play for Alabama again next year.
But it's gonna be really, really interesting to see what to it does if he enters the draft.
But if he goes in, there could be some teams that pass on him.
Oh, I love bringing out my glory days, man.
That's all I need.
I need a week Rhino to be an off offensive lineman.
Isn't that great a shape? Look, I gotta run from here down to the end of the street and we'll be good to go.
You know, I'll live three or four weights this week and we'll be fine.
Hopefully, I don't tear a muscle and ah, no, we're good to go.
Brady ran on Sunday.
Brady had more rushing yards and Rex Burkhead and Sony.
Michelle, Bobby, I can't tell you how sick that made me.
I can't tell you how sick it made me that Tom Brady had more rushing yards than are running backs, especially Sony.
Michelle, who's supposed to be our primary running back.
Ah, if I was in a bad mood yesterday, which I'm sure a lot of you picked up on, I'm sorry for the play by play, too.
I know I swore a lot, and I know I was screaming during that play, and I listen to some of the feedback.
Last night I went, Oh my God! Especially when I went off about Jacoby Meyers.
I just like to be happy, man, but I was just I can't tell you.
I went upstairs last night, just so distraught.
Rhino, there is nothing better.
You're saying that Brady's running style is not pleasing.
I There is nothing better than watching a newborn draft on stilts run down the field.
That's why he's married to Giselle because it rhymes with his animal named the Gazelle.
He's got over 1000 rushing yards in 20 years.
I mean, if he's not an all time Russia, I mean, I don't know who is.
I don't care that you know Lamar Jackson's gonna do it this season.
How many Super Bowls Mark Jackson have? Because that's our argument for everything.
And they're like Lamar Jackson's a better runner.
Well, yeah, Well, how many Super Bowls does he have? Hey, Hey, a man.
I'm in a good mood for losing Monday.
I got rid of all my frustration last night.
You guys got the wrath of it.
You guys got the wrath of my my ****y nous.
Ah, but wait, that Brady run didn't look slow for a change or my bug in Ah, no, I look slow, you're bugging, man.
Just look like nobody expected him to run.
That's how Brady could be this deceitful.
That's why when he runs, he gets big yards because nobody ever thinks he's gonna run.
And then he sees the whole.
It just takes off.
It's also a smart.
It's also a smart because he knows what he has to do it.
We've got to give him a break.
We're so used to perfection, we get spoiled.
Myers needs to focus more on his hands.
I need to get Meyers a break.
Oh, I don't know if I can, man and look, you know me.
I hope he comes out and proves me wrong.
I hope he comes out and he just flourishes and he just you know, he's just the man.
I hope he comes out and he's just, you know, the best receiver in the league is Malcolm Mitchell to point all while Malcolm, which was in the best, receiving a lead.
But you get what I'm saying, but, um, you got to catch the ball because if you're not catching the ball, you're you're not needed on the field.
And yet he is neither because there's nobody else there.
Um, um, what do you think about my home's Assume that's a word that starts with a B.
She's the new Kate Upton. I said it, man.
I mean, you know. And now all those stories were coming out.
She had to be moved for her protection in the Adi Adi out of Lake like that wouldn't happen in any other football stadium in the country.
And I saw the Chiefs fans all, you know, Patriot fans, trash.
That's what you're gonna get New England like.
That's a stadium that tried to blind Tom Brady with a laser pen, and a 10 year old boy had to get stitches because somebody had Arrowhead threw a beer, you know, through a Bir Adam, and they're gonna come out and talk about Patriot fans like Come on, man, like it happens at every state.
Imagine if she went to Buffalo or Philly inside in the crowd, how well she would be received.
And it's so funny, too, because I saw her comments yesterday on Twitter and she's going after Patriot fans, and I had no idea who she was, and I was talking to Ian today on Twitter, and I was like, Brow is like a ship of blue checkmark because she's dating Patrick home because I have no idea who she is.
It's Ah, I don't know, like I don't know, man.
Look, I'm off for and you know, it's funny because people started trashing.
The people are like, Oh, man, you know, people don't want to hear women talk about sports.
It's not it at all.
Some of my favorite follows in the world are female reporters and female sports fans.
Um, you guys probably know where a system quarterbacks there.
You know, Packers girl.
There's a lot of good and look I can think of three, but you know there's more.
There's a lot more.
Tricia is a Patriots fan.
We talked to a lot.
Um, there's a bunch of Pat's girls one, uh, the other Sarah.
There's a whole chunk of them.
It's just the maddening.
It's, you know, it's just because you how you disagree with a stupid take.
And like Patrick Jones brother, I didn't even know he existed until today, either, because now he's getting all this like attention, and he's talking about his tic TAC videos.
I'm like tic tac video number one.
My eight year old daughter makes tick talk videos, you know, and you're using your using your brother's fame to push your tic tac videos.
Good for you, young man.
I'm glad to see that you're putting the Yeah.
I mean, is this Look, look, here's the thing is, I don't hate Patrick my homes.
I respect Patrick Mojo.
My probably dislike the fan base he plays for.
But Tiger, my home has been a pretty humble guy.
He's been a pretty, you know, appreciative guy, the league.
He's talented, you know, This has nothing do with me hating Patrick Mahomes.
I actually feel bad for the homes because, you know, in the next couple of years after Brady retires and Lamar Jackson continues on what he's doing and all that kind of stuff, he's gonna become Patrick.
My home's gonna become an enemy.
I have no problem with Kansas City Chiefs fans having to deal with people hating their team.
I don't care about that.
But Patrick homes like Tom Brady, it's like, you know, I didn't hate Peyton Manning.
I don't hate Drew Brees.
I don't hate Aaron Rodgers.
I hate their fan base is, but I don't hate the player.
That's what you guys notice.
You'll never see me on Twitter.
Just comparing Brady to people are trashing the homes or trashing this person to trashing that person.
I don't like the player Baker Mayfield, a guy who I'm actually trying toe like, you know, that I'm tryingto like Baker Mayfield.
He's just not letting me comes out this weekend and calls out his coaching staff like auras training staff.
I don't think he's talented enough to be who he is.
No, I like Patrick Mahomes.
Stop patting homes.
I hate everything.
NFL catches him.
Fire up him, huh? I hate every time the NFL catches him.
Fire up his teammates.
Hey, says it's so Dom like he got it from a movie.
Maybe I get what you're saying now.
Maybe he got it from a movie back when I played football. Right now.
Worst fan basis.
Um, I'm going to see the L.
Rams because nobody cares about them in L.
And it's a trend, and it's trendy to goto a Rams game.
That's number one, uh, number two.
See, I'm not going to see the Eagles.
You guys think I'm gonna say the Eagles? I'm not going to say the egos, though Philadelphia is is is ah, more wild version of Boston fans.
You know, it's in there passionate fans.
I don't I don't have an issue with passion.
I don't have an issue with passion.
I have Maura of a passionate I might have more of a hate for non passionate fans.
You know, I always love that.
You know, As you know, Boston fans of rats.
I, you know, I hate Yankee fans are so arrogant.
Yet his pager fans were probably the one of the most arrogant fan bases in professional sports.
You know, it says, I always love the oxymoron of watching that happen that exchange back and forth.
Um, but no, I hate the L A. Fans.
Ah, I don't like greater fans.
They're not a They're very passionate.
I can't take away their passion and they're losing their team.
But I think they're stupid, for the most part as well.
Not all of them.
There's there's a couple good raver Raiders fans but I think for the most part, they're so they don't know anything beyond Oakland, Um, Steelers fans are obnoxious, but there's some good ones out there.
I don't like the Chiefs fan base.
They're probably in my top five worst fans because there's an entitlement that they don't deserve.
You know, Pittsburgh's got a bit of that entitlement, but they kind of deserve it.
They've won some titles in the last 20 years, you know.
Two of them, at least right, are.
They've been to some A F C championship games, more than one.
You know, Um, they lost the Super Bowl in that time, So I think there's a little bit, you know, you could be an entitlement.
Dallas fans don't bother me that much.
Um, I know they did.
Buck some people and I don't get into with Dallas fans.
I have had a reason to hate them.
Ah, Bills fans are bad and I live in Toronto, so I deal with a lot of Bills fans.
Um so they're hard to deal with Joe.
You must have to deal with them and Rochester as well, right that they get a tough group toe and ah and there's some good ones.
And then I got a good body.
Whose, ah, who's a Bills fan? I think that's why I don't hate the Steelers either, because my best friend in the world is a Steelers fan.
And even though he stays neutral at Super Bowls, he's always cheered for the Patriots for me.
He wants them to win the Super Bowl for me.
You know, um, he won't watch my my stuff because he hates it, but I think that's why um, I won't cheer for them.
All right, So I got the bills, I got the Raiders, I got L.
I had the Chiefs.
I don't hate dolphin fans, to be honest with you, I don't hate Jets fans because you can't hate Jets.
Fans are just such a such have such a miserable existence in life.
How can you? The Colts fans, I'm indifferent Texans fans.
I'm indifferent Titans fans. I'm indifferent.
You sent him in different ah, Bronco fans, huh? I've actually had problems with one Bronco fan in the past.
I don't know what charges stand.
Uh, I never honest Scott mean that I don't know a Chargers fan, You know, I'm indifferent to Ravens fan to Ravens fans, so they must come out of the NFC.
Oh, Giants fans.
I don't like Giants fans because anything you talk about, they just keep bringing up the Super Bowl's right.
That's so that's it.
I'm sure they do, man.
I'm sure they do.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, and I know there's a lady who is listening.
She just doesn't comment, Um, for the first time ever, and let on a non play by Ray Day in just a chat, I went over an hour and Ah, yeah.
All right, guys.
Well, you know, that's really all I got for you today.
Um, you know, that's gonna be a long week.
This is gonna be another situation.
When the New England Patriots, they're gonna have to dig deep, look at each other.
It started figuring out what's the matter? This is not the first time.
It definitely won't be the last time that the sports world writes off the patriots.
You know, as a fan base, we've been here before.
The only thing that I can say to you is that you need to stay positive.
Keep the faith in this team If you puffed out your chest after they won their sixth Super Bowl, they need to puff out your chest again and stand by them.
You know, sitting on Twitter and screaming about the offense of the players solves nothing.
You know, when the player when the Patriots do go to Miami and hoist their seven Super Bowl trophy, you're gonna look a lot more foolish.
And then then I will, You know, even if the Patriots don't return to the Super Bowl, even if they were somehow a one and done playoff team, how, as fans who have done nothing to contribute to the Patriots success, can we be upset at a team? Ah, quarterback in a coach that's given a six Super Bowl trophies in the last 20 years? Guys, it feels like thieves have you again.
But the Patriots are on to Cincinnati, and so are we.
