No, I wasn't going.
Everybody talk some injuries today because there were plenty.
What if you people roll in here? Well, Trump, on my snack Here, play tonight.
Whom coaches here.
Better straight now.
No, I picked this up a little bit.
All right? What you would you put in there? Oh, the eyes. There you go.
Nothing. Those cheers.
I'm in my Christmas sweater today.
Keeping in jolly half.
I say Christmas because I celebrate Christmas celebrates something different, you know, celebrate anything at all.
Anyway, where we get started, I'm gonna let some people rolling, because this is gonna be a doozy.
And I think that for my corona, I didn't come on my lion smaller.
Okay, so that's problem.
I'll make it work.
So today I'm all I think, and I have to go back and look cause I don't know for a fact, but I think there were Maur injuries today in one week.
Then there have been all season in a week.
Um, usually I notice and it sounds weird, but I remember, um, got the linemen there.
Guys were wondering.
Curious I What is it? Why? Can't hear emotional now that so that's what it is. They're so small.
I can't see him.
Um, yeah, I got my white said mouths off here.
Okay, so cheers to everybody Sunday night, probably day after this.
Okay, so I have a list here.
Of all the players who way said I have written down were hurt, That is rank Griffin.
Really? Mike Evans.
I guess you can throw him in there.
Hey, you had a chance to miss already, but wanted Parker.
Vance McDonald do you take charge? Um, Mark Andrews, Darius Guys Will Fuller and Rashawn Penny.
Wow, what it lists.
And not only are those dudes, um, not only there are they hurt, but they're pretty relevant in terms of fantasy football.
And so I'll try to walk through step by step and try to project at least my initial thoughts on, um, my initial thoughts on how much time that I missed or whatever's going on with them.
I haven't gone back and watch video on any of these guys except for Penny.
So that's obviously working.
Not not working my advantage.
But based on the information in the reports that we have will try to make the best, but at best educated guess that I can.
This is really high up.
Still, I just still don't like this that it's just a second.
So now we got some people in here again.
I was saying that I don't remember this.
An NFL week has had as many injuries is this weekend and two extremely relevant in school ball players.
Non just scrubs.
So we'll go through them here and we'll start strangling.
The reports are that he last game because of an ankle injury and let's see here.
And I didn't see anything about his X rays, and I didn't see anything about him having any anything, really super serious.
But, you know, this is obviously concerning, because when you see a dude who hurt his ankle and it's a big do right, Griffin is, let's see.
Ryan Griffin, NFL sides.
He's a tight end, so he's got a huge and he's 65 Oh, is this quarterback quarterback in a box I can't find other is them, Rachel.
Okay, so he's so wow, our writers and hugely 66 to 55 according to internal NFL DOT com.
So that's a big old boy.
And when you get a big old boy like Ryan Griffin, 65 to 55 either roll on their ankle, um, plants.
So if his toes air here plant and sprained his foot, or even her do a high ankle sprain sort of motion with that much force directed downwards through those joints.
Not a good sign, not a good time.
So what we would expect best case scenario for Ryan Driven is that he, um, Mrs, next week he's gotta look, hopefully this is a low angle spreading a regular ankle spring he misses next week, comes back in Week 16 and is able to perform.
But that is not at all a slam dunk.
So again, these are initial reactions.
It's not a slam duck.
Worst case scenario.
Ryan Griffin has a great to lateral ankle sprain.
He's done for the year because when we say the year, really, that's just another two weeks with answerable.
He's a that's problem.
Obviously, he's been a streamer.
He's been pretty good.
He's been having success.
He's had success in a little bit of chemistry with Sam Darnold, who also is coming on lately.
But obviously that's that's a problem.
So that's something you're gonna have to deal with.
I don't even know who their third string is.
I wouldn't necessarily trust them for fantasy purposes.
But hey, look into it.
See what you find out.
Excess Dylan Ranger Jamie's a little less serious for Jamis.
And the reason that I was a little concerned about it is because I mean, he came back and brochures through like, another touchdown or something.
But the reason I'm concerned about Jamison's because he he came out and Ryan Griffin actually went in for a bit.
So I don't know if they took Jamis Winston and pulled him aside, and they either, like, shot him up with something, or they put up Splinter a brace on him.
I didn't get that game, so I don't know exactly what happened.
Um, but moral stories that hindered him for at least a little bit, and that's gonna probably at the very least, gonna be sore for him moving forward.
And so when you get a dude who maybe was running on adrenaline, maybe he was just in the moment.
Maybe he got he got shot up with from painkillers.
Andi was able to stay in the game.
That's not say that it won't overnight get some stiffness.
Increased swelling pain might be worse.
Will they be able to get a grip of football? We just don't know what's going on.
So my initial reaction is that, um I don't think necessarily too serious or severe, but it can't be something that hinders his performance.
Next week is handed hand injuries for quarterbacks are obviously not ideal.
You've been rolling with James.
You went off today.
Maybe don't expect such a great performance from next week.
That's the deal of Jamis.
Really? So somebody asked me on Twitter about and again.
I didn't get this game either.
I get to be in the basic cable guys.
I really am a student, so I really still am poor.
I don't have like like bebe aren't something that but I do have.
I want a free I want a free in hell Game pass.
Um, shot Ross Tucker, Uh, this this summer, so I'm able to go back and watch the games afterwards, But I don't necessarily have live access.
So what I will do here? Let's go back and wash all of these injuries that I'm talking about.
But for now, this is sort of my initial reaction without seeing most of them.
And what I think is happening with Calvin Ridley, which is sort of sucks because you have this toe injury going in on.
And now he has an abdominal Hollander abdominal strain.
When it's an abdominal strain, I could literally be any of your abs, so your six pack a deeper layer.
You have three layers, perhaps, or it could be one of your big leg muscles that basically helps you swing your leg in and attach is that you're going, and it can also be just a groin muscle.
And that is what you call sports hernia.
That's what Sean Jackson is dealing with.
So Calvin Ridley could be out anywhere from not at all two.
You could be out for the rest of the regular season, and especially with these soft tissue injuries, you probably shouldn't lean on the optimists, except it's on your way up to two weeks left in the fantasy football playoffs.
Um I'm not too optimistic about calendar thing.
I'm really not and I could go back.
I'll go back and I'll write about it this week.
I probably I probably put out a special special edition, season long injury.
Injury reports this week, just so you will have a better idea of what's going on once I get more information.
But Calvin, really, I would not count on having him next week and bubbling up.
These injuries are nasty, and if you don't rehab them, you end up having the situation like, uh like to Sean Jackson, although what common really does have going for him is that he's like five or six years younger, Um, probably more than that to Sean Jackson.
Hey, stop it! Dogs making weird noises.
The deal's Ridley now Evans Mike Evans.
Ooh, scary because Mike Evans caught a ball, ran for a touchdown, and you saw on the video.
This is when I did see you saw him sort of pull up, and immediately I thought, Holy crap, that's either a hamstring or an Achilles, which would be absolute worst case scenario.
Achilles would be obviously season Indian at this point, and he would have a hard time.
Well, he would definitely have a hard time making back by week one next year.
So luckily, he escaped That it wasn't it wasn't an Achilles.
But when you see them sort of pull up like that and just sort of looks like somebody shot them in the leg.
Those are generally pretty significant tears, Uh, of the hamstrings and areas already said I'd be surprised if Mike Evans is is active next week.
Um, so that's and we know hamstring strains can take anywhere from, uh, 123 games.
I would definitely lean on the closer to the three games for my Kevin's.
Just based on what I see all but again, I could be wrong.
Um, I don't see him being back with fancy place for now, but again, initial reactions consider.
I mean for chard.
Maybe. I don't know.
Dude, you're gonna have to look into this.
Um, next to you, Jared Cook.
This is a little bit on the brighter side.
This is good news.
So Jared Cook caught two touchdowns on two receptions.
And hey, I don't know what you're saying about maybe Jared Cook A uh I don't know I got you the coach.
Okay, So Jared Cook has a concussion.
I think this is the second concussion either his first or second confession, which No concussions.
But you're gonna have them.
You rather be on the 1 to 2 versus the 3 to 4.
Simply because once you pass the second concussion, you're at risk for worse symptoms A longer lay off a worse recovery.
You're just gonna all around have a harder time.
Just that's what look a literature tells us is that once you and once you had in that third concussion, you're a much higher risk for your 4th 1 Then you were for your 2nd 1 Hey, thanks for the thumbs up. Their aims 22.
So what that means is, Jared Cook has a very, very good chance.
As of now, based on average is again.
This is initial reaction based on average Is Jared Cook Should be, um, really? There's not much more to say about it.
He's obviously been bawling out, so that's a good That's a good thing if you have him.
And he bawled out for you today.
So you really, you know, based on the tight end.
Tap tight end numbers.
Um, you've got a performance out of Jared Cook this week and you'll feel more than likely I'm hedging a little bit.
Well, more than likely having next week, so I wouldn't be too concerned.
No fan was one of those dudes who had an ankle today.
Um, he and Josh Jacob's a Rod.
Alan both did have somebody stepped on them.
And so those are really difficult to sort of gauge those air really based on pain.
If you didn't have a true ankle sprain, if you don't have any version or an inversion ankle sprain.
So just what you think when you roll your ankle sort of you roll out on the outside of your foot.
I'm the version is the office of your own to the inside your foot.
If you didn't have one of those who just got cleated is what they call it.
Um, he's gonna be fine for next week, then the issue is he and I think that he cleared X rays.
I think his X rays were negative, but I think he has anything else going on.
But so that we just need to sort of monitor their reports for no offense and make sure that he doesn't have a recurrence of the issue or it doesn't play her up.
He doesn't have something else going on alongside that, but no fan should be fine for next week.
But again, hedging this is easier.
I was gonna talk about Josh Acres next ball.
Wait to talk about Jacob's until a little bit later, because he was somebody that I was concerned about coming in.
Also, good news Do Monte Parker.
I don't think he's got a concussion before.
At least it's not do***ented.
So this is another good news.
Unfortunately, he went out this week with a concussion, but again, he's a dude that hasn't had one before, and I don't know who placed there is not football Thursday night.
But all we did in God's very oh, the Jets in the Ravens.
Okay, So back to Wranglers and potentially might not have Ryan Griffin depending on what he has going on my life there.
Um, just because I play on Thursday night, anyway, back to the Devante Parker concussion, he hasn't had one before.
I wouldn't expect him to miss very much time.
Just based on the fact that he has had a word for it.
The same thing that with Jared Cook.
You know, um, if they don't have, if you don't have one or two or two before that, then generally they're gonna be okay.
So I would expect to have the Monte Parker next week who has also been on God.
It seems like you've been with me forever, but he's he's he's definitely, um, don't break out this on a break out this year.
You know, I just realized all three of these due to have concussion.
So vast McDonald, um, Dante Parker.
None of them have had one before.
I think Jared Cook has had one.
Um, but Vance McDonald, I don't think he's had one, uh, which is a good man.
Why? When I was looking through these a little bit earlier, I didn't see that's any of them were sort of the red flag like Greg Olsen.
Last week, he had one.
This was his third his 4th 3rd or 4th 1 and that was a red flag.
But none of these guys had previous history of concussions.
Yeah, he didn't have one at all.
He hasn't had one at all, which is good.
So it must have been.
I think Cook had one.
But anyway, moral story for mass me down.
It's the same thing.
He hasn't had a history is not occurring yet, so he should be good to go for next week.
Not that you probably have been using him in very shallow leaks anyway.
And he didn't really ball out today before he got.
I've got injured, so if you want to use them, he'll probably be available.
Bad news on this one.
Eso dije, chard again. I haven't seen the video.
I'm working with limited information.
BJ Shark hurt his ankle and when he left the stadium when he left the, um when you left the game, he was spotted wearing a boot and he was spotted.
Uh, we're using one of those rolling s******s where they sort of Neil up.
They put the affected leg on the s****** and use another foot to push.
Not a good sign.
Initially, um, you hope that they were just being overly cautious that the medical staff is being overly cautious with him.
But the reality is, uh, when, Uh when a person, a patient, I'll play or whatever when they have an unstable It's the label unstable, unstable ankle issue, which means the ankle was dislocated and they put it back, which means there's a fracture, which means there's some sort of ligament that was ruptured that isn't holding the ankle in place the way that it's supposed to.
Bass generally win.
Um uh, Pts surgeons.
We ate athletic trainers.
We sort of want to immobilize it.
So put it in the boot so you can't move it very many directions, and we offload it that way.
We don't cause any more damage, and we don't cause any more pain.
So considering that he left not only in a boot, which is usually normal, usually protocol for players that have foot and ankle injuries, he also left on a s******.
So not ideal, not looking good for TJ Shark again, These air initial my initial thoughts, but if he has a fresher or if he has a ruptured ligament where he had a dislocation, he's definitely not playing.
For the next two weeks, he's definitely out again.
The hope is that for D.
J charge that the Jaguars were being overly cautious that they just said, Hey, it looks like he got something going on here.
We don't really know what it is.
Maybe we'll wait until we get an M r.
You said It's really, really painful. Let's just put you on the s******.
I don't really know for a fact what's going on, but if it's just like what it appears to be, if it's what it appears to be, then that's it's definitely Acosta concern for D.
J. Shark, who has been bawling out lately.
But, of course, the general has just got absolutely embarrassed today by the charters of all teams to have that on D. J. Shark.
If you've been rolling with him, hopefully you have somebody else in this place.
But it looks to be significant for now.
Again, I'll update you like this week.
I'm getting there, Coach, I'm getting there.
He's literally the next one on the list.
Okay, Mark Andrews.
I got a contusion, so I don't really know where his contusion was on his ankle.
His foot, his leg.
Mark Andrews con fusion leg contusion I don't even really know needs thing about contusions is that if it's so, they can be really painful, right? So if you think about contusions that we've had this year, you have ah, Damian Williams, who had a contusion on his knee.
So his legacy die.
He was out two games, Um, Mark Cooper, who had a contusion on the side as well.
Um, he missed zero games, and it also matters if it's if it's a muscular contusion, um, or or a bony confusion, because if there's a bone bruise, those are a little different than I guess.
You know, it doesn't really matter in terms of the pain, because the pain tolerances is really what we're working with here.
So when you think of ribs, when you think of contusions, bruises, essentially, you're really talking about a pain tolerance thing if there's no damage.
But here there is damage.
If they diagnosed him with the contusion there swelling, there's inflammation, there's pain.
He's having issues.
Moving it on the joint gets stiff, joint gets rigid, the brain and the muscle of the brain shuts down the muscles around around the confusion.
That's just basically a mess for a matter of a couple weeks till the brain figures out what's going on in the body comes out all the bad stuff that's trying to wash away.
So went down around Holder.
Sorry, The moral of story from Mark Andrews is that depending on how he well, it's 30.
They play on Thursday.
They played the Jets, and so I don't know if that I thought I saw something, that they said he'd be ready.
I don't really know if that's true.
Now that I'm thinking about it, he has a thigh contusion.
Okay, so Yikes, the quick turnaround.
Even if he's active, I could go ahead and say it now, even if Mark Andrews is active, which he has a very, very realistic chance of not being active at all, he's not gonna be somebody that I would want to steal.
Like, for example, in D.
F s. I would not use them in the cash game.
I wouldn't even use them in the tournament.
If you're rolling with him and he's active, what do you do? You know, you're not start, so that's that's tough.
But yeah, I would be very surprised if Mark Andrews it.
I'd be surprised if he's active, and I'd be very surprised if he's productive.
So that's that for Mark Andrews.
Considering the queen on a Thursday, the quick turnaround does not help him.
It doesn't help Rangarajan either.
That the clappers Who's next year? Uh, Andrews Geiss.
God guys, Nader, man.
He cannot stay healthy.
The various guys.
What I saw early on is that it's a M c L issue, and I feel so bad for the stewed.
Basically, he's gonna have an m r I, and they're gonna diagnosis.
Or they're going to give him a prognosis.
For what grade what great of injury he has if it's truly Justin M.
If there's medial meniscus issue going on, if there's any a C L fibers that were even ruptured a little bit.
I just feel so bad for this dude.
He cannot catch a break.
This is in case anybody's wondering this Darius Guys is an injury risk.
His knees are, at this point, injury risk.
Like his history, his medical history is a risk.
So if your dynasty, if you're in a keeper league, whatever, if you're you're in a sort of Lee, where you are, you are or you have we will or you're thinking about investing and various guys.
I wouldn't do it. I would sell.
I would use the window where people maybe are a little more optimistic about him.
And I would sell him because obviously we're playing the chances if you play out various guises.
Ah, 100 different times.
From this point forward, the medical science and just logic would tell us that he is at a higher risk for another knee injury.
Emcee on meniscus, a seal, whatever Osteoarthritis is.
So the target Early disease.
He's at risk for all those things to a higher degree than his counterparts.
So even if he doesn't have a great career afterward, I hope he does.
The likelihood of that is much lower for somebody who doesn't have his medical history, his issues.
So that's not on various guys I hope to do to get better.
I guess I should say that if it's an if it's a great to M C.
L don't your he's done.
Don't expect him back this year if it's just a great one.
He has a chance to play fifth week 15.
But even then Week 16 would be a stretch, so I would not plan on having various guy stress this season.
I wouldn't plan on having various guys long term, either.
He's somebody that I'm selling.
I've been saying since the preseason to selling because I'm not comfortable having him, as you know, one of my top e s my my top performers on my team.
Some dude offered him to me today, not taking that Will Fuller.
He was ruled out, and I think it was a little bit of a surprise to most people, but I'm not necessarily surprised.
Well, Fuller's have these history of hamstring issues, and they've learned at this point with Will Fuller that it is better.
Stace and sorry.
Um, I mentioned this a couple times ago.
A couple weeks ago, in one of the articles I wrote that Will Fuller came back from recurring hamstring issues.
A couple of inner in October of last year 2018 he had, I think, a great one hamstring gree to hamstring set out through three weeks.
Three weeks or so, sir. Three weeks came back.
Um, played in one game was fine.
The next game, he tore his A c L.
I'm not saying that's causing him.
I'm not saying that because of the hamstring issues.
He tore his A c l.
But generally speaking, when we see reduced strength on previous trauma history of knee issues, hamstring strains Generally speaking, you can correlate that with a C L injuries.
And so I don't know if this is something where they said, Hey, let's holding out because you just don't feel right.
I don't know if this was like he re injured that same hamstring, but this is basically life with willful er.
This is willful or unfortunately, you know he can turn around.
Still, he's still super young.
If he takes the off season to rehab, to work, hamstring, strength, to run routes, to stay, stay in shape to do whatever he has to do with him.
The medical staff, Petey, the nutritionist, whatever it has to do, you can turn it around.
But this is unfortunately for now, the life that we live with Will fuller surprise and actives left and right.
There are four games left and right, and then when he is active, 150 arson, two touchdowns.
That's life was willful.
Okay, and then the last one here who I haven't talked about yet because I don't for a fact know what's going on and what we're looking at here with Rashad Penny is a couple of possibilities.
A few possibilities.
I watched the video, and it's not really it's one of those.
It's not clear cut.
And I watched the video over and over again, different angles and even with even with, um, the two differ angles that are washed.
I still can't really tell what's going what happened to Rashad Penny, I can tell you that maybe if I talk about a lot of he planted is a language pretty far extended.
He's sort of rotated in it, didn't he? Didn't nothing touched him.
Um, there was no real contact that made him happen, and he just sort of collapsed over from the side view.
So a first you wash, I knew you think a. C L.
Because it's a classic mechanism.
Please rotate the tibia.
A seal gets torrent, a seal ruptures.
That's how it goes when you watch from the ladder.
But But the way that generally happens, the way that generally happens is by, um, Where's he going with that.
So, generally speaking, there's a more bending the me than rush on Penny had at that point.
So stop pennies.
Knee did not look to me like it was flex like it was battle.
And then you go to assign view and I tweeted this out beside you is his knee is definitely hyperextended.
And even though that stresses other ligaments, you know, instead of being here, he was sort of here.
And the thing about that position is that that actually is more protective of a seal.
Then it is any other structure because it's sort of it's not really on its not attention.
The way that it would be at his new was more flexed.
All of that to say it could still be an A C L injury.
Um, that's really I think we wouldn't know.
We have noted by now, but it could potentially also be a PCL meniscus issue.
It could also just be a hybrid extension of the capsule and a general non specific injury where he just had swelling and pain.
There was a range of outcomes right now for a Sean Penny as a tonight or might miss week 123 Or we'll just miss arrested minutes.
Playoff seasons? Um, I don't really know yet.
He's one that I'm still trying to figure out.
There is a risk for a C. L. There.
However, the hyper extension is making me a little skeptical about it.
I don't really know to be completely honest, but what I will say is, considering the amount of pain that he was end.
Considering the he walked off, it was ruled out pretty quickly.
I wouldn't expect to happen next week, at the very least, but again, I'll update you as the week goes locker and I've been on his 30 minutes.
At this point, I was gonna talk about some of the dudes that I mentioned in my articles this week.
What you guys are probably done listening to me when I was going to say about Josh Jacobs? Is his shoulders fractured? The Raiders have nothing to play for.
Don't be surprised if he if they'd just shut him down.
That's something to consider if you play off Russ Jacobs.
Um, that's really it.
That that's those are all.
So we just went through all those dudes So let me summarize rule here.
So Brian Griffin ankle quick turnaround on Thursday.
Not excited about his chances on Thursday, you might have to find another option.
He's got a week to recover.
Not extremely confident that he's gonna perform next week.
You'll have to watch his injury report check back with me.
Calvin Ridley growing.
I would not expect him back for the next two weeks.
Uh, Mike Evans, hamstring would not expect him back the next two weeks.
I'm Jared Cook, on average.
Should be back based on average is for a concussion.
Got stepped on Are really sure Not fully 100 cents earn, but should be back next week.
You want a partner? No history of concussions.
Should be back next week.
No history of compression.
Should be back next week.
Left in a s****** in a boot.
Not excited about his chances of finishing season just right now.
Um, Mark Andrews Not excited about him being active, and you mean if he is, I don't think he'll be productive.
On Thursday, Darius Geiss, M.
C L issue would not expect him back for the rest of the last couple weeks.
This is life with Fuller.
He could be back next week. He could be back.
Week 16 Rashaun painting where the jury's still out.
I don't think he tore his A c l, but there definitely is a chance that he's having that issue.
I'm that he has that issue and well, you'll just have to check back with me for all these guys to confirm This is early.
These are early reports. Early ****ysis.
I'll have to go back to watch the film on some of these guys and give you more.
But for now that is, make sure.
