So today I'm going to be doing the Redskins at Packers, kind of a preview last You things that I've done have been recap.
So I think I've decided tow, switch it up a little bit and see how you guys like it.
So directions of Packard's.
The thing is, is the Packers had a bounce backing last week against Giants, and they looked really good.
Aaron Rodgers starts for good.
Za'darius Smith was getting to the quarterback all the time.
We have three interceptions on defense.
We really showed that we could work as a team, but our offense could be good at the same time that our defense can.
But I don't want to say it's just the Giants, because every single game is a tough road most of time.
So for the Redskins, that riding a two game winning streak, especially with Dwayne Haskins at quarterback, they've been doing decent.
So I don't want to say that this is gonna be this easy game because no games ever easy.
So if I'm gonna compare the teams right now, like I said, the Redskins are on a two game winning streak.
They're last one was against Carolina, so they're wide receiver Brooking.
He has 646 yards and five touchdowns so far.
He's going to be a problem, and we really need to keep Dire Alexander straight on him, man to man all the time because that is what happens. Made target.
That's what they go to the receiving game.
So for the running game, that's what we're gonna have to do to stop it.
We're gonna That's what we're gonna have to focus on because our run defense is not that good.
We've always had problems with it.
Stopping Adrian Adrian Peterson and stop in various guys is gonna be a huge problem.
They've been guys, is back from his injury, and he's had decent stats the last few weeks.
So the month of December is Aaron Rodgers.
Look, that is the way that is the month that everyone needs to watch out.
No matter if the Packers are doing bad, it's good.
This is the month Aaron Rodgers shines.
So Aaron Rodgers, when he starts his team as a whole, averages 28 points per game in December, which is the most by any quarterback in the Super Bowl era.
That's phenomenal and last week, you threw four touchdown passes, your own exceptions.
And that was also December.
So that just shows what comes run.
He's starting to go on.
And according to the next Gen stats, the Packers receivers are getting the most separation in the NFL this season.
7 yards average, part of target.
So if they can keep up this separation and you know and Rogers is on target, then go beyond shake off the Redskins defense.
The Redskins are allowing the most touches by running back in the red zone and the Packers Red zone efficiency is very high, and they're getting the touchdowns or not having to settle for field goals.
So we need Thio.
Give Jamal Williams an arid zones the ball.
So for a while, Aaron's on the Christian McCaffrey.
We're tied for most touchdowns in the NFL, but Aaron Jones hasn't really been, in fact, of the last two games, so that means he's back some so gruesome.
Catherina has 16 touchdowns and Aaron Jones only has 14.
Not that I'm betting that he's going to when the touchdown record or not record but Havas much touchdowns in the season, more than anybody else.
But that would be nice.
If you get two touchdowns today, Ty Christian McCaffrey possibly get more because you know who's gonna play have to get more.
So the Russians actually have a 19 3 difference, which is a lot higher than I would think, because they're 31 team.
So I would think that most of their stats are pretty low.
So the Packers are 22nd ranked offense, which is a lot lower than I actually suit, too, I thought, Well, Aaron Rodgers, Johnson, Adams, Marcus, Bella scandal ing like all these people on the team.
And it's still a 22nd rate often.
So I think it's gonna be more off the Packers offense against the Redskins defense for this type for this game.
The keys to the game for looking at the Packer side is they need to bring more bliss.
So my pen is not known to bring buds, they say with the four man rush.
But we have a rookie quarterback, okay? And he has some ofttimes off OK, and he throws interceptions.
His accuracy is not huge, so if we bring the blitz, if we bring pressure than I think that'll put Dwayne Haskins off now make him throw picks, and that will be good for our offense.
And we need a force third and long situations.
It's way harder to convert on third and long, then obviously it is on 1/3 and shirt where you can just hand off the ball.
But the thing is, if you're coming, if you're thinking of the Packers.
The Redskins have 13 sacks in six takeaways in the last two games.
The Packers have a tendency to have a hard time coming back from being down, having a deficit and giving away the ball.
So if there's a sack and fumble or Iran just throws an interception and they end up scoring off this because our defense can't hold up, then it's gonna be hard for the Packers to come back.
So we need to practice.
Packers need to protect the ball.
They need to make sure that their mother's needs to stay calm under pressure.
Obviously, he's this great scrambler.
He's not a huge pocket passer.
He does outside the pocket, so I just think that it means to they need to focus on how their defense is going to perform because, like I said, the month of December, Aaron Rodgers is this phenomenal player, and he's gonna have.
He's gonna throw a touchdown about Adam going Thio.
Uh, he's probably going to give the ball to Aaron Jones.
He's gonna have almost 100 rush yards staying with Jamal Williams.
But, like I said, you need to focus on the rookie wide receiver Terry Terry made Warren.
I think I don't want to say that wrong, so we need to shut him down.
He's quick, He's explosive.
He's really good at making place.
He's good at getting open.
He's not the greatest route runner, but he knows ways to get open, and some even say he's up for offensive rookie of the year.
Now I'm gonna say Josh, shake ups from the Raiders is definitely winning rookie of the year, but I can see why he's in this conversation.
Like I said, he's a playmaker.
He's quick, he's fast, He gets open.
He's a leading receiver for the Redskins.
He is a playmaker, like he's the reason why this is not the reason, but one of the top reasons why this offense is good.
So I think that the Packers are gonna pull off this when it's at home.
They weren't four against the Redskins at Green Bay, but the Redskins have actually won, I think three of the last four meetings. Toll.
It just happens to be that last four times have been at Lambeau.
The Packers have one.
I think that the Packers are gonna pull this off against the Redskins.
They're gonna end up shutting down Terry.
They're going to the definitely gonna get a big chunk place for the run game.
That's just how it is.
Then don't break about field goals.
Keep him from getting into the end zone.
Packer's gonna pull this one out.
I think they're going to score 28 points and the Redskins are gonna score 17.
Thank you for joining me, and I hope to see you guys later.
I will be previewing the Chiefs and Patriots game
