Nick's family was popping Is your boy and we hear and what will be an exciting night? Well, a lot of New York Knicks veins an 80 not eight, which we had eight wins.
A 4 18 team win, a foreign 18 win team actually has an exciting night because in term head coach Mike Miller is going in turn is going to debut tonight.
Excuse me? I just got off the role literally.
I literally just came home from now and have Dr.
But Nick's in term head Coach Mike Miller is gonna debut tonight and we're gonna talk about We're gonna learn a little bit about Mike Miller and then talk about some expectations before we get to the game.
So, uh, let's go ahead and get to it.
Ladies and gentlemen is right.
And Knicks fans, no matter how much of what you heard or what you feelings are about coach David Fizdale no longer being the Nick the coach of the New York Knicks, it's a done deal.
You can't go back.
Mike Miller is the INSERM head coach, and I'm sure there's gonna be a lot of questions about you know, what kind of changes.
Will Mike Miller bring to the table? I don't think anyone is expecting miracles for Mike Miller, but I'm sure there's gonna be some expectations from now until the end of the season.
If you last that long, if it were me, I would keep Mike Miller on until the end of the season.
I don't see what you know.
Maybe maybe you could tell me.
Maybe you think we're going to get something by bringing somebody again? Now you're gonna give him a shave, Give him a chic.
No saying give him a shake yet. Miss Fair.
Do see what he has.
You almost got an entire season.
See what he could do now It doesn't have a training camp, of course, you know, so that changes things.
But, hey, you get a guy shake and see what happens and then make moves at the end of the season.
That's what I think should be done.
You know, that's what I think should be done.
But anyway, Coach David Fizdale is you all over The No was fired.
I kind of know for a fact.
It wasn't really Yesterday was the previous night, you know, You see, in the video gold round of coach David Fizdale shaking everybody's hand.
Ah, during practice, and it was made to seem as though they let coach Fizdale go through a practice and then shake everybody's hand and then do a post game interview, post practice, interview and all that kind of stuff and then fired him.
You know, kind of like it's an embarrassing thing that's actually kind of false.
Ladies and gentlemen, it's actually kind of false from what I understand, and you can take it or leave it.
It's kind of like this.
Coach Video knew he was fired, and he wanted to have a last practice so that he could.
I talked to the guys, makes sense.
Then he had a last interview, you know, media interview and all that stuff.
And when you see in him shaking hands, that was his goodbye Adapts to everybody, right? Kind of how it went down.
I went out into ST Don't feel too bad for Coach.
Fitz got millions of dollars, he said.
He had a guaranteed contract.
It's going to get paid him and his wife.
They could go lay on the beach and relax before the weather gets too cold here in New York.
What you gonna do, man? What you gonna do? But anyway, you know, that's how it goes down.
And there's gonna be plenty of time for speculation as to who should be the head coach and all of that kind of stuff.
So I'm not really going to get into that tonight.
I really want to focus on Coach Miller right now.
Had to had to think about what I was saying so I can get that out, right? You know, make sure I was saying the right thing.
I want to focus on Coach Miller what Coach Miller might bring to the table, but in Nick's.
Okay, so let's take a quick look.
I got my man vivid and chat.
He'll be able to talk to us a little bit.
Take a quick look at Coach Mike Miller and see what he brings to the table.
Okay, so let's get this thing on the road.
Coach Mike Miller is born August 14th 1964.
He's 55 years of age.
He hails from Monmouth, Illinois.
He led the Westchester next, the G League Team D League affiliate team for the New York Knicks to a 108 and 92 record over four years.
It was a 17 4018 Julie Coach of the Year, All right.
He started coaching the Knicks in the West Chester Nixon 2015 so from 2015 to 2019 use their head.
Coach of the West.
Chester Nix, 15 4013 to 2015 is assistant coach for the Austin Spurs, which is the G League affiliate for the San Antonio Spurs before they in 12 4013.
He was an assistant at the at UC Riverside in 2005 to 2012.
Who's the head coach at Eastern Illinois University from 1996 to 1990 90 Was the head coach at Texas Texas State, and he led Texas State to two conference titles.
Now he was brought in and to the West Chester.
Nick's like I said about four years ago and get this.
He was brought in under coach Phil Jackson's regime.
And why was he brought in on the coach Phil Jackson's regime? He was brought in because he had some knowledge of the triangle and system basketball, right? So he was referred to Coach Thio.
Phil Jackson gave the referral or the recommendation on Allan Houston, and Allan Houston hired him as a guy that can help develop players or the triangle.
Hey, so you know, from what we understand about Mike Miller, he is a guy that understands how to run systems and he runs systems.
Now, do I expect to see that right away? No, I do not.
It be almost impossible for you to see any of that tonight.
Maybe you see some things here and there.
Who knows how much time he had to spend with the team.
And maybe when Coach Fizdale ran practice yesterday, it was an excellent time.
A good time for them to hand over that in turn, head coach or the head coach wrote the head coaching role to Mike Miller, right? Of course, you know, with the media, you're going to get stuff late.
But it could have already been a done deal and all that kind of stuff, all right? And maybe Coach Miller was able to put some things in that he wanted to do.
Who knows? I don't know, I expect to see a lot of the same stuff.
Not tonight, though.
That's what I would expect now.
Maybe over time, over a few weeks, they get a little bit of a break in their schedule where they can practice a little bit.
Then maybe you'll see something new, but you're going to see a lot of the same stuff.
Hopefully, he's just able to keep these guys and hold them accountable to do the things that he wants them to do on the basketball court.
But again, that's that's coach Mike Miller.
And in a nutshell, maybe they've, or Mark or Gamow.
You know, it has a little bit more information about him.
But listen, he is a system kind of a guy, and maybe we'll see a little bit more of a system as time continues to as time goes on.
So once again, before I get to the guys here in the video chat, I just real quick a quick introduction of Mike Miller.
But those who are just joining us.
Mike Miller is born August 14th 1964 to 55 years old.
But my mouth, New Jersey, he led the Westchester next toe.
Wanna wait 92 record over four years from 2007 in 2017? In 2018 it with the D League coach of the year from 2015 to 2019.
He was the head coach of the Westchester Nick's in 15 4000 from 13 4015.
Use an assistant coach with the office and Spurs, which is the the league affiliate for the San Antonio Spurs, 2012 to 2013.
The assistant coach at UC Riverside 2005 in 2012 was the head coach of Eastern Illinois University in 1996 to 1990 nine's the head coach at Texas State, where they went to conference titles and I believe they actually made it to, uh, you know, March madness, but were eliminated.
All right, so that's that's That's him. In a nutshell.
Ladies and gentlemen, is him in a nutshell.
And let's see what these guys got to say and I want to hear your opinions as well.
All right, So live.
Hey, Coming to you, my man.
What's going on with you, bro? Come on, Sam.
How you doing, man? I'm going. Pretty good, man.
So give me your take on coach Mike Miller.
So Mike Miller was recommended by, um, guy named Praying Hamblin.
Uh, remember Frank Campbell? He was a longtime assistant.
Phil Jackson? Yeah.
He said the recommendation.
I believed Allan Houston who was then.
I think glow is the rule.
I think you the GM to Westchester next.
And then, you know, that's all.
That's how it happened.
But, you know, we want to define Mike Miller's coaching tenure with the Westchester next.
The one thing is, every single year he had a new roster.
So every single year, he don't with, you know, 15 new players, However, many player there on the Westchester next, and you know a lot of turnover.
A lot of a lot of hungry players, obviously.
Well, it's remembers little big roster turnover.
And then, yeah, you know, you have the one or two players that are being called up every single, you know, every other game, whatever.
So you see there the one thing about the D League that there are a lot of, you know, a lot of fluctuated looks a lot of fluctuation with the roster, and he had to deal with it every single season.
The other thing is that he also had the build a system that someone murdered what they're running in.
Ah, in the n b A club.
So every single year he had toe get a kind of adapt.
So if there's one thing to know is that he kind of has a blend of pretty much everyone's offensive sets somehow some way, in addition to whatever he is known to have run, you know before the Westchester next, you know, would college or whatever.
All right, so what you can tell he's very adaptable.
There's a word, so they're probably better words.
I just can't think I'm right now, but he's very flexible, very dark, cool with, you know, the systems.
But over the years, he had to know, Okay, what's the what are the core sets and where the core principles we're gonna run? And I think he from what I know he's been, he was able to kind of, you know, instill that in his players pretty well.
And I was kind of hard thing to do in Westminster with a player movement, but he's kind of able to do that, he said.
A pretty decent defensive team for whatever that's worth.
Ah, two years ago, when he was leaving the coach of the year there, Um, but he's a familiar face in the organization, and he's someone that because of the system, he was just It's a very seamless transition.
So, you know, I think what we'll see is not necessarily new sets, but we will see what I call it.
It's just gonna be a disciplined version of what we're trying to run.
Reagan Seymour discipline how we're, you know, playing out there on up.
And so whether you evaluate that with the number of the amount of contact, you know, the number of times make contact on screen, that might be a good indication of you know, the difference.
We see, Um, if we have a better conversion rate on our out of out of time out place, I mean, that's probably you might you might see that a little bit more.
Um, and he may be just close outs and just some of the little things we won't see structural changes, but if you can evaluate that and notice what the difference is, then.
I mean, that's what I'm really looking for because you can't they're not.
There's no way you can add multiple sets and you know, no, just run.
No one knows what to do, that it's impossible.
It's impossible for him to do that at this juncture now.
Maybe when you get you know, when you had the All Star break or something like that.
You know, of course, that's months away.
Now if they get a little bit of a break, and you could probably you might see little things here and there, but you're not going to see a lot.
Besides, like you said, maybe the discipline and the way they do things and it was important thing is that you kind of saw it slipping.
And that's the reason a lot of our younger players have regressed somewhat.
I think there's just not not that a constant discipline that you need, um, you know, when you're running, when you're out there like there's always like a lack of purpose sometimes.
So just to see that re you know, institute, it's gonna be a It's a big change and obviously, you know, uh, my thoughts on the biz deal thing, you kind of like you kind of had it.
You knock it down to a t, uh, with the whole, you know, the adapts and all that stuff that, you know, obviously, you know, it's got fired.
There's a night, but, you know, this was again.
I'm not gonna I don't want to go into too much, because I know you kind of harp on it.
You kind of mentioned it, talked about a lot yesterday, but, um, this is this is this is coming, Professor.
I mean this, you know, I don't think he's gonna be coaching anywhere.
Um, any after this, I just I don't think he's getting another MBA head coaching job.
You might be right.
You definitely might be right there.
You know, you notice him, it's your coach.
You notice there's a demeanor to coaching.
There's a difference in the head coach and assistant coach.
And the difference is a very significant difference.
Not every assistant coaches, you know, it could be a head coach.
Only certain people have that personality and the command of the high level.
Um, you know, vision in the picture to understand how to be a head coach.
You know, some people are just better off his assistant coaches.
They're they're better at their job.
Is an assistant coach, right? And I think this is Bill might be that guy.
I don't think he'll I don't know if he's an associate head coach.
I don't know if he's, you know, you just might be, you know, some guy going back to the film video.
That might be his thing.
But head coach, it requires a lot more.
And you know what? We saw us.
You know, someone that I think the idea of coaching like a head coach kind of justice is above.
It was like way over his head.
And I know people going to Memphis.
But it's very important about Memphis.
Is that you know, actually, when you look at Memphis, he actually a lot worse in Memphis, and then you know, the team was here before, and the reason I say that, because the team that year before was injured and they lost their like a big losing streak, you know, after that injury, So um, technically speaking to kind of regressed a bit year to year, but coming it sucks.
And he's on fire.
But I I just don't see him as a head coach.
Yeah, and, you know, I tend to agree with you, you know, but But you never know how experience might shape people, you know? But I can't agree that I tend to agree with you, you know, let me see what Mark was thinking over here, All right, Because I know Mark was Mark was saying yesterday, not yesterday.
Oh, you Maybe it was just I don't know, Whatever it was, he was like, I want this. It just happened.
Let's get it over.
What happened? That happen so that, you know, we could move on from it.
Well, Mark, happy man.
Well, the reason I say I want to happen because I'm still not happy because the great year Afro guys still in position? No.
So I'm a little I'm a little upset.
Still, I don't really care for for the new in term like that, but we'll see what he does.
I just want to clean house off off this toxic toxic guys.
I just like I like I know everybody's happy.
Oh, you know he keeps on games and delete.
This is N ba man Ge Liang Bi is two different things, Man.
I can't just be all happy like that, man.
And this is New York City.
This is his first time culture n b A players, not GE Li plays.
Okay, All I want to see tonight is how they respond to him, because that's what it's all about.
If they response in.
Well, then also, you know it.
Let's see what he does.
I see what he does.
I'm just look a little upset from yesterday because Steve Mills not gone.
That's why I said I wanted everything to just happen because I want it fits.
What? Steve Mills and Scott Perry? Because these dudes, these dudes trying to save their job after all that news coming out, trying to save the job.
So now they're talking about looking, looking for Got great shots now way.
Well, well, well, I don't know.
I don't know about, you know, you know, right now, we just gotta, you know, they need to slow down and just focus on the task at hand right now, right? That they just need to slow down.
Um Oh, see, Steep.
See, that's the thing about Steve knows This is one thing that Nate I think really had, right.
I don't think Steve Mills, I don't think they're gonna find as James Don's Boy.
If friends I don't think he's gonna find if anything, he'll move into another park off the organization that all right? So even if he does something to do with Nick's, I'll take that.
Yeah, okay, I'll take that As long as he's not the president, as long as I'm making basketball decisions, I don't want you near that.
The two don't have anybody basketball.
I too, at all for talent whatsoever.
Let me ask you this period.
Ask is you said a CZ long as the players respond to coach Mike Miller, What is your definition of some? Well, then I'll go along with along with.
So what is your definition of responding to him? And I wouldn't expect me. Okay.
I mean, all the problem with Julius Randle did I have a big travel of beef with and how other players are other players.
Don't get back then. I worked as hard.
Now, Julius Randle game.
If Jews in the game Oh, it gets better with the season going on, then I'll say, OK, this really got into him to change his game.
And that's what I called him at the young place because his game don't compliment the young players.
And that's what I was gonna ask you, because you can't expect that.
Obviously, tonight you don't know what to expect to know.
I'm not expecting it tonight. No, not at all.
Not at all. Not at all.
There's 20 extra games like how I do it.
I judge everything in a 20 game span.
Oh yeah, he's CEO now, now.
Hey, go now he's not.
He's sculpting Steve Mills now, but he's not doing 10.
He's just going 20.
I'm just messing with you.
But what did I say from last year? The 1st 20 Gangs will tell you where the season's gone.
I'm in position, right? They say.
If we put him in position and the best play, Julius Randle still looks to say, that tells me that there's no coaching going on.
Well, I mean, I expect to see the players respond a little bit differently to Mike Miller.
Yeah, doesn't Doesn't leave, touches lives when they do.
All that stuff doesn't lead to wins.
And I would I would tend to say to you, I was your losses.
Listen, listen, I would sense you.
I would tend to say to you I wouldn't even trust the 1st 20 games because the 1st 20 games is still gonna be a honeymoon period right? When you start getting into that second plateau of 20 games, I think that's when uh, that's what that's when it comes out.
I still think the 1st 20 games of Mike Miller's tenure as interim head coach is still gonna be a honeymoon period.
So let me retract that.
If Julius Randle game do not change in ways to complement the young players this season, er, this season, it's easy this season.
Forget 20 games.
This is if his game do not change one eye odor for the young players because the young puzzle where you were important in him and this is all of this.
Fans have been seen on on shells and Park asked me what the young guys look good now.
Julius Randle is playing the saying ways he play and don't get bench.
That will tell you a lot.
What's going on behind the scenes when it comes to Julia Trainer.
That's That's something we'll be watching, too.
Will definitely be watching for that.
That's a counter, those people.
So you'll have a bad game I wanna bench up.
So if this coach cannot mention, that tells you a lot of what's going on a lot less random because he got paid $63 million.
Okay, that says a lot because we're talking about accountability and we want everybody be held accountable.
And that's what one day that I'm looking forward to seeing from Mike Miller.
Is he gonna hold everybody accountable? Gamow? What do you think? You know? So I think that Mark Milligan holder by accountable.
Uh, well, just, you know, what do you think about Mike Miller? What do you expectations, uh, for my village.
I mean, I like, you know, I'm going with this, said right.
So I don't think I'm going to see ah, lot of adjustments, right? Well, I think they might add a few wrinkles.
There has to be a little more off ball movement regards.
It can be 34 guys on the perimeter to stand there when it's 50 seconds off the clock.
Um, I do like some of his track record in terms of development, you know, Say what you want Trade Bergsma Cornett when they were down there in a GE Li, you know, their games expand it, Um, you know, when they came up, Obviously Look is going to jail because Julie get played against, you know, lower level talent, you know, per se.
Well, I like what you do. Development wise.
The guy has a decent background.
Um, and I think that, like I said, he's gonna adapt.
That's one thing Physical did a very poor job of he didn't adapt to the place that he had gone into the situation that that was before him.
Right? So, you know, you hear on the so called media, they're saying things like, Oh, fizz, though he you know, he was happy he got fired.
So if you didn't have your happy you got you got fired, right? That means that you know, you're looking to go out on your sword, But he didn't go out of sorts.
So the other stuff about is B s, like physically, just a political.
She's not a sees A system, coaches a video guy.
He's a robber or a guy.
That's because look at what's said in the media and I'm not starting around.
I just I just have to say it's an immediate cause immunized.
They'd been going back and forth in terms of what these constant media said.
You know, Jane Williams, the burnout on the draft.
The bust from a Duke is gonna try to say what happened with Fizzle was black on black crime.
And this is a guy who probably never touched a black girl in college.
And I was trying to take a walk around, right? And what one thing I say about Goldman someone is hiding a lot of black people execs, he e.
And he ain't the one who blackballed Mark Jackson.
And he might still hire my jet Mark Jackson all we know.
So to sit here and say those things, you know? Look what my swing from from this guy, you know, like I said, discipline, you know, coming in, getting these players, you know, to play what fundamentally sound basketball to set proper picks outside of you know, Taj Gibson are whose mother guys actually says picks.
You know, Mitch, at times, you know, I'm looking for him to come in and set some discipline.
And what I'm not expecting, you know, with this amount of winds now obviously means in Come on, say a lot of garbage because you know that the media do absolute No homework.
Well, you know, just one thing.
Always sound physical, man.
That means been covering his ass.
And that's how you're gonna get hired because they've been covering.
This is But in terms of old, how could you fire you guys and give the paparazzi this roster? Say what you want about it.
It may be an ill fitting roster, but this is still the same rights for a lot of potential terms of someone assumes that these guys get to fizzle.
Never got that from these guys.
You never told these guys proper fundamentals.
You never got these guys in a system that befits him now.
It might really does that That would show a lot about fizzle and now make it very hard to hire.
Yeah, it could be a friend to you guys like the same thing with Brian did with Carmelo.
Oh, yes, my boy, about a block.
But when it's time to put him on your team, you're gonna put him on your team.
So But I'm not expecting to win tonight.
No, I'm not expecting us, said it's drastically changed.
No, but I think that what this happening and all the stuff that's happened, I think guys like Randall, who I think has ah bee line to the GM in terms of, you know, they gave this contract and he thinks that he's kind of above certain certain things in terms of fundamentals get back on defense, I think is gonna be a wake up call for him, especially the rumors that you know, massage.
I'm not going into that.
But you know, all these rumors and things are moving around.
So I think some guy's gonna be in the peace and Q's would be like, Hey, oh, crap.
You know, things are working out.
You know, I might not have.
They might not pick up my option for next year.
And if this team you know, everyone's associate my name with the Knicks, I might not get something good next year, you know, from another team.
So, you know, I like I like the direction.
Like the decision.
Um, I'm not expecting anything monumental, but you know, these guys in the media man, Jay Williams, this idiot, I think, is not saying the dumbest thing for him to say.
This is black on Black.
Come on, man. It's just ridiculous.
Dude, this'll isn't saying no.
Say what you want about Donald Lambro if you look at the fire cultures, right and also obviously is not a good listener.
But he gave a lot of chances to a lot of coaches that other organizations weren't going to get.
Come on, Don Chaney, and you're going to sit and talk about and try to add a race into this.
This is same league, that bright ball Craig Hodges, when he went to the White House to ask for help from black people from George Bush the same way that boycotting the same people that so Christmas Day boycott him right? The same a lead that boycott of Marco are wrong because of Muslim.
It's the same lead that tells black players they shut up about China, but they want to act.
All woke when it comes out.
When it comes to China, he's got all shut up.
The money is involved in the same league that that Mark Jackson with a winning record and show three years.
I think it's there for three years.
You got a winning record.
Are improving records That point the F 35 minutes is last year, quickly from around 55.
Assault like that, he can't get a job in his league.
But this idiot said immediate.
Want a pickle? The Knicks Because one they don't like Dolan.
And two, they stay, although Steve Mills.
But that doesn't mean they're a bunch of guys lead that don't deserve jobs.
And yet they be able to get coaches and even get players.
The organization believe the number and kind of hit their whatever mistakes, whatever, and they're doing better.
As a result, he I want to stay here and talk about Black on black crime. J.
Williams, who you know, I know you go go to do as how many black girls he's been with went out with this guy.
So my will come on since I think about it, there's no racial issues in America is we're rushing racial issues with people.
When I have these clowns stay here and take the stuff that I am.
And I know this doing never go to the hood.
You would never hang around so called ghost type of like people.
But if he wants to use that when he's on TV, t build up his fame ability, So call his profile.
I didn't try to stick up for James on.
James owes me a lot of mistakes, but hire black people.
Ain't one of them is not exactly thank you, thank you. And that's what I want.
That's what I wanted.
I wanted to piggyback on you because you said earlier, That's one thing that you can never, ever, ever say about James Dolan.
You never say that.
You never say that about James.
Don't never open and things that go back.
I say something. Article.
When Fizzle was first hire and Dolan basically came out and said, Yeah, that the only guy I interviewed was fizzle, and I took their word for it.
Now you talk about a league where guys literally before 345 guys interviewed for a job, and he put his fate in a blacks president.
Ah, Black team President Black ah, gm to hide his guy tow higher, higher fifth girl that everybody was so called.
Everybody was so called friends with.
But he didn't sit there and let me hire, uh, this this guy, this guy, he put faith in these guys.
I'm going to go on a ranch.
I feel you wanted, man.
I figure on that because it's just uncalled for Jay Williams to bring up racing and to bring race into it just because it was three black men.
He's got to bring race into it.
It is just is just ridiculous.
Hold on, Mark gets you.
Let me get to, uh, let me get to the phone call calling on a lot of another.
But next, what's proper with blackest time? Shut up to the chat with good.
How you feeling? Oh, um, I'm going to tell on honestly home.
The growth was the question you given about my mother.
Well, I was just asking about expectations, but I was gonna ask you something different, All right? okay.
Mike Miller was brought in in 2015 October of 2015.
And no, he was brought in under the Phil Jackson regime so that he can help develop players for the triangle.
My question to you is do you think he brings? And I'm not saying bringing the entire triangle.
Do you think he brings pieces of the triangle as the season goes on? Do you think he brings pieces of the triangle into this? Did his team? I do.
And not just because of that, but just because the triangle you see glimpses of in almost every every, like more more than 50% of the teams.
You see the triangle rant at some point throughout the game, so it's not far fetched to believe he'll implement.
You know, parts of it.
Um, not and I don't have I don't have a problem with it, you know, like I I just want to see something that works home.
I just wanted to touch on for everybody.
Don't get too excited or two down home.
Judging his performance.
Mike Miller as a coach home because a lot of times when when a When a coach is fired, um, the team will go on a win streak or a rally, you know, show glimpses of playing better.
Um, and it may not be due to the new coach.
Sometimes it's them actually killing that because they coached gas.
I sometimes think the players now under pressure home.
You know, a lot of these guys don't have guarantees for next year home, so they don't know where that's gonna go.
Oh, and it's not like a fair decision.
No, it's just not a justly in the sea.
What happened on that date if the action gets picked up on that, so I mean, it's gonna be hard to judge Michael ever as a coach right now, even even with 2030 games.
Um, you probably were probably just gonna have to see how the season ends up.
How much do you? How much consideration do you think they're going to give Mike Miller? I mean, obviously, a lot is going to depend on the season, but how much consideration do you think they're going to give him now? Obviously, I think he's going to get a lot of consideration.
I think it's more likely than that he's coaching us next year.
So, in a sense, he's the perfect coach.
Not have any pressure.
Like forget about just being in New York.
He doesn't have the name, the history, the it's a relationship.
Where is gonna be pressure on him because of that? Okay, okay.
It should be relatively easy for him to ignore the pressures of New York, especially coming into this situation.
The record we have now.
No one's expecting anything at all this year.
Number one so that they know media pressure on, um, immediately.
So I mean, he's kind of in, like, a good a good spot, you know? I mean, like, he doesn't have to really worry about anything and, like, honestly, he can.
He can implement that, whatever he wants and do it slow and and and then, like, he was going to fire you, right? He's good.
No, I think he's in a good position, especially for this year.
I think if they are going to bring in a new coach, I wouldn't be surprised if they bring him in toe, end the year bye and and again to start implementing your stuff.
Earlier than the off season.
And you know, does he? Does he strike you as a guy? That and, like the Jeff Van Gundy type of mold? Oh, I think he's.
I think he's going to be able toe hold people accountable.
He There's no pressure on him to sit Randall if he needs to sit Randall, we'll see anybody home or to not play the young kids.
If he wants to do that, like he he actually, I think he has free range to do whatever he wants.
So I think in that sense, yeah, he's gonna be He's gonna show more, more.
Ah, fire and more disciplines was part of the place.
He can't sit there and be latte, you know, to me, he has the opportunity bring out if he has a beast in him.
He has the opportunity to bring it up.
And he has the opportunity here.
Yeah, right from him.
I'm pulling out all the stops because he has.
Let's put it like this.
Let's put it like this.
If I'm Mike Miller, I'm doing whatever I want to do because and this is the reason why I say this because I'm either going to get hired as the head coach off.
I'm not hired as the head coach.
There's a very good chance I won't be there next year because the new coach is gonna want to come in and bring in their staff.
You know what I'm saying? I'm not saying he won't be there, but there's a good chance that he might not be there.
You also follow him and and then, like, honestly, right now, I think and I and I hope I'm right.
I'm hope I'm not just being optimistic in my own feelings, but I think the pressure's on those more than anything.
Yeah, I think nothing at that point.
Dolan has still be looking at knows like Baghdad will close the initial press conference in the first place.
You know what I mean? Like right? Dolan called him and said Yo, you this Is that what you told me? It was gonna happen? And then, of course, they gotta put a skate go out there.
I feel you a Tony.
Appreciate it called, man.

And then, um, I find out what you think about tonight, and then we'll get up out of here so everybody can watch the game big.
I'll start with you.
Do I expect in the triangle? I think tonight or you're so not tonight.
As we move forward, um, you'll see some ***, but I don't I don't know, like, No, I'm not.
Full triangle, though.
You might see some action, but then again, those are common actions that every team runs, so Okay, nothing new.
And as for the game, um, I know Brogden is out, but it's gonna be tough, guy, I think we we keep it close this game, but I think we might lose the game.
But he's out, though.
I mean, that's a good thing for the Knicks.
That's a good thing for the Knicks.
Yeah, I'm gonna keep you alive. I'm gonna keep you alive.
What do you think, Mayo? Um, yeah, I think I'm gonna lose, but, uh, no broad and being out helps.
I do agree with baby.
Might many teams run concepts or concepts that are you related to the triangle? So I think I'd be a little bit too much for some of these.
It might be a little bit too much some of these players, but then again, I mean, we've been happening from grounds in terms of what about what are offensive sets are.
Anyway, I think defensively Well, im insurgency.
What it sets are and, uh, his rotations are only has out there in the court.
Um, did you get proper chemistry from guys? And one day, I'm gonna say they said that Jay Williams is so called joking around, and if he waas, I take part for what I said at something Is a draft us in a bomb.
But, you know, if he was joking around, so be it.
You know, this is joke around, but but but But you know what? Go.
It's really not something to joke about.
That's also true joking around.
It's not something to joke about your joke about it.
You'll do a national TV.
You get out of eggs. Exactly.
You don't do that.
Especially when there's real, serious issues going on in the world.
You know me that has to deal with minorities and people of color and race, you know? I mean, Israel issues going on.
Why joke about it, Martin? The last one, bro, we're not gonna win tonight because I've seen the paces last night.
They just too good at what they do.
Listen, listen, I just want to see I just want to see effort, effort that wasn't there from certain players I want to see tonight. Just effort.
You don't have to do nothing.
And you know what to say.
That would be great about some too, All right.
Even if he has sense in all that stuff, right? Could these plays execute what? What he wants to do? That's the question people gotta ask themselves.
All these players capable of executing what he wants to do and to the future and future represents in time.
Well, I mean, we don't know, because one thing about having a player executed just don't question out there.
Yeah, no question about that is not for now.
I'm just saying.
Yeah, right, Right.
But what? What? I'm gonna say what I'm saying.
What I must say to that is, and where I felt like is failed.
And I'm hoping that Mike Millikan do is one of the things to getting players to execute.
What you want them to do is giving them things that they can do right, giving them booties and rolls that there where they can excel.
Now, if you want them to expand their game, you add those type of ad things in slowly where you want them to expand.
But if you give them things where they could be successful, let them be successful doing nose.
And then if you want them to expand, you add things, and slowly so we'll see.
But anyway, I'm gonna get out of here.
I'll be back on it. 10. 30.
So I'll be talking everybody.
Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy the game.
I'll be back on after the game.
