What's popping is your boy.
The Knicks got smacked last night by the Denver Nuggets, and now tomorrow we'll be back home at Madison Square Garden to take on Indiana Pacers.
Let me tell you something, ladies and gentlemen.
It's not like this game is going to be that much easier than playing the Denver Nuggets.
It's a matter of fact when you start to really break down these teams.
It might be a very similar matchup.
That could be a bad thing for the Knicks.
I don't know, Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know.
Let's go ahead and get this thing bump minutes, right? As you can see, ladies and gentlemen, the New York Knicks of 4 18 on this season and what a season has been so far.
Well, quarter of the way through the season.
22 games into the season and it's already drama in New York Knick land.
What else did you expect? Ladies and gentlemen, did you expect any different? Not sure you did.
Not Sure, Actually, I did.
I thought the water said, Simmer down a little bit and we were away from all this drama.
Not that I thought we were gonna be a world beater and break down the doors of the NBA Finals.
I just thought all that this stuff was past its this drama.
I thought we were kind of on the right track where the right mind set, we knew what we were doing.
I actually thought we had a play.
Oh, as I start to look at things well, I could say is no, we don't grasping at straws trying to find something there sticks.
Not this stick in.
Not this sticking, I don't know, but we had a plan on how we were going to use these players coming in.
But it doesn't seem apparent to me that we do.
We'll have a conversation about whose fault this is.
Whose fault is it? It's a David Fizdale, a Skype Aryan.
Is it the players? Is it everybody? Is James Dowland who's cooperate? I don't know, but anyway, we played Indiana Pacers tomorrow night.
That man is a square garden, 7:30 p.m.
The projected starters for the Knicks.
Frankly, Latina, who's back from he's back with us after having a sore back.
Barrett, Marcus Morris, Julius Randle Insides Gibson.
That's to start in five, and I see a lot of match up issues.
Roman against Indiana Pacers folks.
I really, really do.
I see some matchup issues, and I'm a little bit nervous about it.
Projected starters for the Indiana Pacers.
Malcolm Brogden at point guard.
Very good pickup.
They picked him up from the Milwaukee Bucks in a really good pickup for them.
Jamie Lam, a shooting guard he's in because Victor Oladipo was out.
J Warren at small forward, the Montecito Bones, that Powerball forward and Myles Turner at center.
This team could be dangerous for us.
I think they came.
And I'm gonna tell you why.
I'm gonna tell you why.
Let's Ah, let's go ahead and break down some of the numbers behind this game right here.
The New York Knicks, as I said, a foreign 18 there on a actually there on an eight game losing streak now no longer a seven game losing streak.
So let me get that fixed up for you.
All right? The Knicks on an eight game losing streak.
Ladies and gentlemen, that's not good.
It is not good at all.
And I don't I don't know.
I don't foresee this losing streak changing at all, either you know me.
But anyway, the Knicks on an eight game losing streak, they average 101 100.
5 points per game if they give up 111.
3 points per game.
2% from the field, 35.
8% from three and 44.1.
They grabbed 41 44.
1 rebounds per game.
8 assists per game at 15.
1 turnovers per game.
The Indiana Pacers.
And this is correct.
They're on a two game win streak.
At the moment, they average 109.
9 points per game.
They give up 104.4 points per game.
4% from the field.
All right, they shoot 36.
And we all know at that three point line isn't an Achilles heel off this team? Ladies and gentlemen, it is an Achilles heel.
This team of the Knicks I'm talking about.
They grabbed 46.
9 rebounds per game.
8 assists per game, 14 turnovers per game.
Offensive rating is one of 9.
3 that's 13th in the league.
Their defense of rating is one of 3.9.
That's a thin elite tomorrow night against Indiana Pacers.
That'll be the third team in a row that when the Knicks have faced a top 10 defense.
Two of those games with Top five defense's the Denver Nuggets.
That was a top five defense.
That was a top five defense.
Indiana Pacers got a top 10 defense.
The Knicks offensive rating is one on 1.9.
That's 30th in the league That's last in the league defensive rating is 1 12.
9 Is 23rd in the league, close enough to be in last for me.
Very similar cir***stances to the previous two games, especially to the Denver Nuggets.
All right, maybe we don't go down by 43 points.
Maybe we don't see a 40 point deficit.
We might see a 30 point deficit.
We're gonna see if the's guys gotta be humiliated again.
Hopefully, they show some pride.
He matchups looking at Malcolm Brogdon.
He's 65 £229 point guard.
It's average 18 0.
9 points per game.
9 rebounds per game, 7.
9 assists per game and 0.
9 steals just under one still per game.
2% from the field.
33 points, 8% from 30 is a hell of a point guard.
Hell of a guard, man.
He plays good defense is the defensive guy.
Is smart basketball like you? Very good.
Pick up by the Indiana Pacers Be facing off against Frank Del Akina.
67 £200 is God Forward, 66 I'm sorry.
6 points per game, 2.
1 rebounds per game and 3.
4 assists per game.
He's also averaging 1.
4 steals per game, shooting 39.
1% from the field.
And quietly, ladies and gentlemen, quietly frightening Latina is shooting 36.
Would you imagine that coming into the season very quietly, this guy's shooting 36.
We'll see if he can keep it up, but this is gonna be a match up to watch because Frank is gonna have to guard this guy, all right.
And he's a smart Brockton Malcolm problem.
It's a smart, crafty player, but it's gonna have to be on his job.
It is a key matchup because he's the engine that could make.
That will make the team go.
Malcolm Brogdon needs to engine data making the end ago another key matchup.
The matchup of the power forwards Amante, Sabonis and Julius Randle.
Here's what would come into some issues.
Don't worry, I'm thinking about these matchups.
Who's Julius? Radio may not be the main guy guarding the Montecito bonus, right, but we're gonna look at this matchup.
The mind is opponents.
4 points per game, 13 rebounds a game, 3.
7 assists per game and 0.
7 just under one steel per game.
All right, he shoots 51.
5% from the field, 21.
Police Radio, 68 to 50 16 point averages, 16.
8 points per game, 8.
5 rebounds per game, 3.
5 assists per game and just under a block per game.
It actually just under one steal.
The game's biggest, like 0.
Nothing spectacular in either way issues.
2% from the field and 24.
1% from three now, here's my thing.
I'm not exactly sure that Julius Randle's gonna be guarding the Montecito bones.
Okay? It may be Maur.
I'm thinking, if it's me, I'm probably gonna put Julius Randle on Myles Turner.
Let Taj Gibson guard the Monte Sabonis.
The modest opponents that beast download scorn.
A postman, obviously C averages 13 rebounds a game.
You know he could score as well.
He's not as craftiest scorers.
The Montecito bonus.
I feel a little bit more comfortable where Julius Randle on miles turn or someone who's not as prolific.
I'm not saying the Montez opponents super prolific, but he's burned the next plenty of times in the past.
Plenty of times in the past now, obviously, the way that the Knicks played defense, they're gonna be switching back and forth anyway, right? There'll be switching back and forth, playing this guy, that guy, which, as you heard what Clyde Frazier and I've said it several times.
But what class? Fraser said it last night on the telecast.
It takes accountability away from anybody.
You keep switching that way.
Well, it's a terrible for the person the players don't know.
The coaches don't know.
Is everyone switching all the time? But anyway, that's that's that's It's not in this argument right now.
You know how I feel about that.
You know how we're gonna guard the Monte Sabonis? No is a beast, but it's not just a month.
Its opponents man is their entire starting five and I'm concerned about their entire starting five is a threat is a real threat on the floor.
Let's take a look at this stuff because this could be a real problem for us.
Ladies and gentlemen, a real problem for us.
Malcolm Brogdon in't.
He averages 18 points again.
I think he's somewhere around 13 or 14 points. Again.
He averages 18 points again.
The Marchesa bonus.
He averages 18 points again.
Myles Turner averages 13 points a game.
Starting five is in double digits.
The entire starting five is a threat.
They play very similar to the Denver Nuggets.
Bay Similar? You looked at the Nuggets starting five.
All of those guys scored in double digits.
Nobody was over 20 points again.
That's a problem.
You looked at the box score from last night.
It was the bench that killed us.
The bench had 15 16 18 17 points.
Your start is one single digits now.
Any of the Pacers don't have a strong of a bench as the Denver Nuggets, but they're starting.
Five is strong, and they share the basketball the average 24.
8 assists per game.
Well, this is a team that's very, very similar to the Denver Nuggets.
And it scares me because their team that shares the ball moves the basketball.
You play a team oriented style of offense that gets the Knicks every time, and not to mention not to mention, Ladies and gentlemen, there are good three point shooting team good three point shooting team.
They shoot 36.7% from three.
That Denver Nuggets burned us last night, shooting 50% over 50% from three.
They came into the game only shooting 34.
These guys already shoot 36.
7% from three and guard.
The three point line is our problem.
We can't go out on foot for nothing.
Don't worry about this game.
Well, I'm definitely worried about it.
They got the 13th ranked offense in the league, the eighth ranked defense in the league.
Maybe we'll be able to score a little bit more against these guys, maybe our office a little bit.
Being look a little bit better because they're not as good defensively is the box of the Nuggets, but they're still very, very, very good defensively.
I don't know about this one, folks.
Oh, maybe you got some answers forming.
I don't have the answers.
I'm just hoping that the next show up, let's take a look at the keys to the game because though, these keys going to be very similar, the last night's keys to the game very similar to last night's keys to the game.
Why? Because we're playing a team that's, Ah, a similar base.
Similar team, obviously.
You know the main thing you know, the main key to this game.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks got to show up and I will get the Get the graphic about a screen soon, but the Knicks got to show up and be ready to play the Garden.
The Garden is not going to take another night of what we saw last night.
What we saw in Milwaukee, it might burn the place down.
Man, I'm trying to tell you they might burn this joint down, that we continue to have this type of performance.
It's just not acceptable on any level for professional team to play with this type of ineptitude.
Wanna make sure I get that out right? It's just not acceptable.
Ladies and gentlemen, not acceptable at all.
So we got we got We gotta come into this game.
Maybe Coach Fizdale needs to let somebody else talk to the team.
You know, maybe somebody else needs to be the motivator, because whenever fishtail is doing, it's not working.
You know me not happening.
Anyway, let's get to it.
Wasted enough time here for, like, wasting your time anymore.
Keys to the game.
Ladies and gentlemen, number one Johnson Prize.
When I was just talking about show some pride show that you care about this team? Sure.
Did you care about the city? So about you, Karen, about your **** self.
Gotta play team defense.
You have a place? Um, team defense, man, We don't play team defense.
We're gonna It's gonna be a problem if these guys will move the basketball.
Listen, this is almost a style a team that the Knicks hope to put together.
To be honest with you, I just feel like we don't have the right coach to put this type of team together or to coach these guys, Um, coach the Knicks the way that the Indiana Pacers a coached Because this is what it seems like.
The Knicks were shooting for a deep, a deep team.
Well, you got guys all around that can score and get you a bucket.
Guys gotta play hard, play defense and rebounding basketball.
It's kind of what I think.
The Knicks was beautiful, but it didn't work.
Partly, I think because you don't have the coat stuck and put it together, neither here nor there, but anyway, well, it's not here.
No, there is a lot.
But for these purposes, we're gonna go on with the keys of the game.
So I gotta play team defense because he got scores all around. Starting five.
Defend the paint, Ladies and gentlemen, they gotta defend the paint.
Myles Turner, Dermontti Sabonis.
They could score inside.
Okay, These guys can score inside.
And you know, if we don't defend the paint, we're gonna get killed.
He's just gonna be double trouble.
We got defended paint and we got a defendant.
Three similar to like we had to do last night against the Nuggets defender paint and defended three.
The Indiana Pacers.
Ava's 49 points per game in the paint that seventh in the league seventh.
We don't defend the paint, we're gonna be smacked.
We didn't defend the paint against the Nuggets.
We didn't defend against three point line either.
Telling you, I It's like I could see the same thing happening.
I really am. I hope not.
Bad line of boards.
Now these guys aren't Ah, great rebounding team, the 19th in the lead, the next 20th in rebounding.
But the Knicks haven't been.
They haven't even been rebounding.
As good as the 20th team had 33 rebounds last night.
33 rebounds more mad. That's ridiculous.
Gotta do better than that.
If you expect to win basketball games, we gotta take care of the ball.
Yeah, the next Had I think I forgot that.
A little number turnovers last night.
And they've been, you know, they they average about 15 turnovers per game, but turnovers comes and they come in Bunches.
You can't do it against this team because they're gonna capitalize on it.
Good defensive team.
We can't have Bunches of turnovers.
Scare happened and then ball movement that have ball movement.
Ladies and gentlemen, The same thing is the Nuggets.
If the ball sticks, you're gonna allow good defensive team to Q.
Wait on the basketball.
You're gonna have stroke.
You're gonna have trouble scoring the ball.
Gotta make the ball move.
Make the man move.
That's how it's got to be done.
That's how you can at least compete.
Well, you gotta have a mentality first to go.
What to compete? That's what I see.
Ladies and gentlemen, that's what I see.
Right now we'll see what's gonna happen.
I'm a little bit nervous about this game because of the match ups because of their ability to score from all over the floor and have multiple guys that can score, you know.
It's scary cause the mind set the mind.
State of this team is not strong.
These guys a mentally weak they had not proven that they could be a mentally strong team have not proven it, so it scares me a little bit.

See, you got some phone calls coming in.
I want to talk to some people and find out.
What you think about the next Tomorrow night was to Indiana Pacers.
Man, talk to me.
A notable nix was popping Kevin from Plainfield, New Jersey, man and not Steve Mills.
You doing that? I'm good, bro.
What's up with you, man? I hope it's not.
You sound like Steve Mills a little bit.
I gotta admit it.
It would, Right.
You sound like Steve Miller just a little bit.
This is I get it, man.
Kid and I get out.
I was just taken back by that, You know, the last time we talked about people thought out Steve Bills, that was That was crazy back.
Anyway, um, a Mao What can I What can I tell you, man? I'm at a loss for words, man.
I watched that last night, and it seemed like in the first quarter we was, you know, doing OK.
But then that second quarter, they were, like, you know, just come and left and right.
And let me ask you this because, um I know your coach.
How do you defend the three? How would you How would you feel if your coach your next How would you have them defended? Three is an effort thing, or is it a skill thing? What is it? What? This is what I see from the Knicks.
Good, good question.
Good question is what I see from the Knicks.
Whenever the ball swings, you've got guys like Julius Randle and other guys at it down there.
You know what? Not just Julius Randle, but other guys that are on the opposite side on the floor.
Everybody was on the opposite side of floor, but Julius Randle does it a lot.
A lot of times they they they sag too deep into the paint.
Then they got their back turned the person that we're defending, right? And then when the ball swings, orifice skips.
You can't get out there fast enough, right, because they're so deep into the paint.
The ball is always gonna move faster than your feet, right, right.
That's why you know coaches, they want guys they want.
They want players to pass the ball up the court instead of dribbling the ball up the court because you get the ball up fast and it's gonna go faster than players can get there.
If that ball is really weapon around the perimeter and swinging.
It's gonna be hard if you're sagging too Deep into the paint is gonna be hard but guys to get back out independently Point shot.
I see that a lot.
I see it a lot And then this switching When you have a lot of switching, you could get lost at Who is if you can have a lot of switching, You gotta have a lot of communication.
Guys gotta be talking, talking, talking, talking, talking.
Get confused as to who was supposed to switch where and the guys get lost.
Uh, they get lost out there on the three point line, right? Because someone forgot switch or, you know, you had a bad switch.
Got it caught up with two defenders on one person.
Two defenders in one area is you've got a switch.
That's another thing.
Yeah, and also with the switching.
A lot of times you end up getting a guard.
Ho was defended by a big man, and when you have a garden is defended by a big man, especially a guard that could shoot.
Here's the problem.
Maybe there, but they've got to give.
They got to give some space to 13 you know, three or four feet.
Why? Because that guard is faster than him.
So he can blow past him to go to the basket If he's too close.
So you give him some space and **** to shoot the three big and then then it's an open three point shot.
Because that that big man has to give space.
So those are some things that I see.
So if you are Steve Mills joking with you But if you are Steve Mills, take that back.
The coach Fizdale buddy, take it back.
The coach Fizdale, Make sure you got is written down.
Taken back to coach to say Here, Coach, Here's how you can hear is one way that you can help to.
Ah, defended three point line.
Well, my brother, I wish I was You are absolutely right.
I would open a second telling that it's just it's just crazy because I don't think where we this bad last year with defending the three like that? I mean, let's think this year it's It's just, you know, it's just abysmal and everything.
Grandma, Grandma and Nate in.
All of them say they're totally right.
I mean, I have a problem with this coach the way he if he has any defense of principles, you know? I mean, you heard him say that I have players now that can retain knowledge.
Okay, So why aren't they following what you're doing, right, Right? Yes.
So I don't know, Um but I'm like, I'm with you as well.
I want to see coach Fizdale.
You know, succeed.
But if he's not, I mean, I'll just bite the bullet and take the scrutiny, you know? I mean, it's nothing different from what the media, you know, and everybody else perceives us.
Us, You know, I gotta let you know, Let him go Because and have, like, Mike Miller or somebody else.
I'm not really all that on that bandwagon of Mark Jackson.
I know everybody you know.
You know, once that I'm not there yet, I'm really not because you bring him in.
And if we have the same situation as faras, um, in that situation, But as far as you know, um, experience.
Then what are they gonna say about Mark Jackson? Oh, he's a bad coach.
You know, I don't need that.
So that's what I'd rather have, Like a Mike Miller.
You know, somebody, somebody else in there to, you know, not be a friend to these to these players and just coach him.
I mean, all honesty.
I rather have Mike Woodson back.
I mean, at least he preached defense and get on you and not be a friend towards you.
You know, um, Thio do your job, You know, the way it's supposed to do it.
So that's all I got to say.
Um, once again, you do a great job, Sim.
Um, your God, Since a lot of Knicks fans and you know we love you and thanks for for doing you know what you d'oh.
Appreciate you, man.
Have, ah, Friday.
So, you know, enjoy the rest of the day.
And then hopefully, your weekend is Have a good weekend, man.
Hey, Going Christmas shopping tomorrow, So Okay, I'll probably game tomorrow night.
So there you go.
That's be enjoyable.
Maybe that might be bittersweet, right? You enjoy shopping, but then you look at the bill you like Oh, my God.
I spent what? Yeah, yeah.
Okay, bro, take it easy.
All right. Peace.
That's a good question.
And that is Steve Mills. Take it back to Coach Fizdale.
Take it back to the audio assistance and school them a little bit, man telling you.
Heard it right here and and be Kay Show.
Think face watching the show anyway.
I don't know, calling our loving little bit nix was popping.
What's going on there? How you doing? Good man.
How you doing? Hey.
I can't listen to the show at the same time, but it's on my phone at the same times beyond beyond the call.
So I don't know exactly what you're talking about right now.
Just take whatever's on your mind, man.
We're talking about the Indiana Pacers game, Okay? I had, uh I was listening to the last episode, and Nate said needs to be a complete culture shock in the Knicks.
I got something completely out of the box, and, uh, there's very next related, but I just hear me out.
Oh, I can tell you from New York, right? Because I can hear you.
You write from upstate New York from upstate.
Good enough. You've been around.
I want to start off by saying New York is Babylon.
Anybody that is from here, they know that there's a weird dynamic in this city.
You put a lot of good basketball pieces on paper to the next.
Over the last 20 years, we've had.
Still, Jackson is president.
It didn't work out, but we had a lot of good things on paper for the next.
I think that Jim, doing at this point, actually wants the have ah, good basketball team.
He leaves the games recently disgusted.
He's made a lot of money from a lot of money makers.
There's a lot of non basketball people that work for the Knicks.
This is a New York thing.
If you work in New York, you've been in any office building.
You see a lot of people from Iowa and anywhere else they just come here.
They litter on the floor and they leave.
It doesn't matter to them whether or not the Knicks win or lose their sports.
Still, after 30 years of losing 50 years is a ring, it doesn't matter.
They're not the right people.
I don't know who to name specifically I can only imagine in a tiny office with the people that comes and drives home to Connecticut or something like that.
Jim Dolan has made a lot of money, and I feel like at this point he probably wants to go out with a good basketball team.
And there's my message to you. Jim Dolan.
If you do want to go out with a good basketball team because you're in your sixties, you'll need to hire people from New York or at least basketball minds.
You hired a lot of business people, and that's just in New York is run anywhere.
Any industry doesn't matter what your marketing and a bunch of people that just don't make a lot of sense.
They don't care if we win the loot.
And that's just my message that my message Hyatt basketball people Jim Dolan and start with people from New York because they're not gonna take it so lightly.
When we get blown out like that, people don't care.
They're not from here, they're probably not.
Even Nick stares their corporate.
This is a very corporate place, and that is not basketball.
That's too corporate point, taking my man point taking they will say Sorry to go off or crazy like that, but it is burning and thought, I have to call in and say that Don't you want a good basketball team? Start from the rules? I appreciate you calling my brother.
I appreciate you.
I don't mean it's value all up, but I know that you go, man. That's what it's full.
That's what it's for, man.
So people get it off their chest.
You got the best next channel on you too, man.
Appreciates your brother. Thank you.
Have a good one.
Be well, A people got people going to get it off their chest.
Man, I will say, I do think that James Dolan definitely wants to when you know, But I agree with my man.
Get basketball people in there.
There is a lot of Madison Square Garden is a big business corporation is a big business, but basketball is got to be run like a basketball team.
You know? I understand it, though.
I get it calling your lob.
A notable nix was popular caller.
You're live with nothing but necks.
What's popping? It was good.
Only brought from Vegas was going on.
Oh, Norman, like, check this out.
Right? All right.
Oh, going door free agency the last couple of years, the front office, they went out When God plays that haven't accomplished anything on a previous things.
I'm saying the previous indications, though.
It's like when you go out and you get players that haven't been winning from when other things, you bring him back to this team.
Croshere, second year players, bookies, undrafted players, whatever.
I mean, the team is by by the phone is going to be back.
You know, I'm saying, especially with a kosher in his second year, you know, not not.
Look, I'm gonna admit I was one of those guys that singing that look.
There's needs to be fired.
But at this point, beyond man like it's been this way beyond saying, like, I do believe that he has, like, 50 50 50 in the situation for five bad.
We all right now, but at the same time, it's like you look at some of these players.
It's like they don't match up well with the rest of the players on other teams, like they can't stay with the guys like I mean, I noticed manifestation of defense that had no defense.
But take a guy like Julius Randle, like you said earlier, he stays in the paint, has his back face the three point line.
Stuff like that.
He's missing the action and back spent.
Like these plays have taken advantage of the advantages of match up, please.
So it's like when you have a bunch of players like that when it's seen, I mean by the phone just gonna be bad.
Like, you know, last game is basically bye That's been going on, and I pretty much like if you watching the game, man, we just We just suck, man.
Like we just saw one thing I do so like the front office does Well, in fact, you know, I'm saying That's it.
That's that's the only thing you do well when it comes to create to see it about it, man.
I mean, what's your take on that? Well, I mean, I don't deny that Coach Fizdale is probably teaching.
Defense is the principles that is using, in my opinion, you know, what are the principles that is teaching? I'm pretty sure he's teaching it, but what if the principles.
And if you see someone like Julius Randle sagging too far into the paint so that he can't get out, then you got to correct it.
Now, if the player doesn't do it after you tried to correct it in the player doesn't do it, then you gotta take other.
You know, you got to get that player.
Of the consequences of my biggest issue of coach Fizdale is his level of accountability that players how does he hold those players accountable? But when they're not doing their job, that's my biggest issue with coach David Fizdale.
Is that if you just well, quick Yeah, sorry, Um, at this point, do you believe bringing in a different coach is gonna make a difference with these current players that we have? Well, if that if that coach comes in because let's put it like this, there's no excuse for getting blown out by 40 points two games in a row.
There's just no excuses, especially, you know you're not.
You want going against teams that air at the same level and you still got destroyed, right? I mean, you got destroyed by Cleveland.
You got destroyed by Sacramento those guys, they're not at the same level.
Is Ah, Milwaukee or even Denver, Right? Right.
So to me, excuse me, that has to do with something that's internal.
And I feel like it's because Coach Fizdale does not hold these guys accountable, not everybody accountable in the same manner, right? So So what I'm saying is, if a new coach came in, they're gonna use the same.
If you're not gonna have enough time to put in a totally new system, right, you just don't because there's not many practices in the n B A at this point in the season.
But if this coach comes in and simply holds players accountable for what they are doing and what they're not doing, he holds those guys accountable.
It could make all the difference in the world all the difference in the world.
Just by holding Guy's account.
I'm not saying that a new coach would come in and make this team playoff team.
It's not what I'm saying that I don't think anybody expects this team to be a playoff team.
There were a few people that said Yeah, maybe the Knicks could sniff the playoffs, but I don't think many people really held that expectation.
They just want to see the Knicks play hard every single night, not get you're gonna get smack some games, right? You're gonna get smack but not get smacked the way they've been getting smacked beat the way that they've been getting beat will come out and really play hard every single night.
Even if you're getting beat by 30 you're still scrambling.
You're still fighting.
You're still hustling back to get a defense of stop after you turn the ball over those type of things.
When your team isn't doing that, that too May that says that the coach it's not holding you accountable.
The coach lets those things happen because that is something that a coach can nip in the bud because of a player is not hustling back on defense, making those plays.
Even when you're getting blowing out, then you can simply say, Okay, you got your sitting, you're gonna be on the bench and I put the guys in.
We'll get We're getting our ads bust by 40 anyway, So I put the guys in that want to play hard, you know, and you can send a message that way.
I just don't feel like he does that equally with everyone will do it with Knox, who do it with care.
He was doing it with Frank.
I mean, Frank, we need it.
We needed injuries and somethingto happen in someone's family for Frank to get a shot.
You know, I'm saying Ah, and you know Dennis Smith, Jr where I want him to do Well, I want him.
I want him thio place for the next I'm one of the you.
But he you know, he lacks defensively, But he was He was out there before. Frank Miller.
Kina obviously finally can't relax something offensively too.
So, you know, you get it, you get where he would think about her was playing when Frank was playing bad.
Like I mean, go make a previous years there.
Frank, been on his teammate.
I don't know what's happening to the dead man.
I feel bad for him, and it's like, you know, like I was never big on the estate to begin with when we first got him.
Even when he was with Dallas, I just felt like it's not a system guy like he's a highlight.
Dunks is exciting.
But I don't think Dennis Smith has ever even when he was an NC state was never that system Chicago like never.
You know, my my thing we're bringing up Frank was to say, you know, Fizdale will hold guys accountable that he to me, this is just my opinion.
You will hold guys accountable that he doesn't feel like you are going to give him any slack, right? Frank? Millikin is not going to say anything.
It's just gonna do it.
Kevin knocks not gonna say anything.
It's just gonna do it a lot of trees trying to be a good soldier.
He's just gonna do it.
But you see the guys like Marcus Morris, Julius Randle guys to have a little bit more statue.
He doesn't seem to hold those guys accountable.
Now, people point out pointed out to me a couple weeks ago, maybe a couple games ago, you know? Oh, yeah, Coach Fizdale was yelling at the players and in the huddle.
Oh, you know, I had a big talk to them in a locker room.
It's one thing to talk to the entire team.
It's another thing to address one player and say, Julius Randle, you're not doing this and you know what? You can do that in front off all of the players.
You don't do it to the media, What you doing in front of all the players? Because that lets everybody else know that you are not afraid to hold this so called leader accountable where no one thing about you know, next, fans, they're saying that you know, Bench Rando and bars and stuff like that.
The reason why I think they put in the ball and Randall Sand and they let him have free rein.
This certainly isn't it is his contract.
I think they're stoned simply this market else paying as well.
But you know Julius Randle like the way he's been playing.
The reason why he got that much, he reckons, because their senators in his contract and I think it is with the hold him accountable and it messes up with his numbers and stuff like that.
I don't know if the players association will come in, but it's not a good look, you know, for a contracting business standpoint, so I just want to point that out quick. E.
I love your show, man.
Appreciate you, man.
Thank you. I will go one.
And what you just said makes a lot of sense.
It does. It definitely makes sense.
You know, when you have guys with contracts and they haven't sentence in their contracts to reach this level of that level and things like that, it can get tricky.
It could definitely get tricky, right? Ah, but I think, in my opinion, as a coach, the coat should be absolved of all of that.
All of that political stuff, contracts and all of that.
The coach, in my opinion, should be absolved of it.
Maybe it's impossible for close to not know what's in a player's contract.
What kind of incentives air there, Anything like that, because you can work.
Both sides of the coin of a coach knows that this player has certain incentives.
They may try to play a more to help reach those incentives or they may play unless so that they don't reach those incentives.
They don't like the player or something.
I'm not saying that Coach Fizdale is doing that either way.
I'm just saying it could happen.
So that's a very good point.
Very good point, you know? But I think I was coach, in my opinion, should not.
Coach based on this player has an incentive but doesn't have an incentive.
A coat should be like it don't matter you either doing a job, but you're not, you know, saying to me, that's the players responsibility.
It's the players responsibility.
They have incentives that the goals that they need to reach to make certain dollars is to place responsibility to get there.
And if it's your responsibility to get there, then you need to do what the coach is asking you to do.
I know it's not that simple.
And it should be.
Anyway, call your love.
Another bonus was popping.
Oh, blackest time.
What's popular, brother? How you feeling, man? I'm good, man.
I hope everything is good with you.
Just getting these bills and then Christmas gifts, man.
I feel you, man driving out there, keep chronic e grinding man himself.
Spend rough man spent his ba*****t tough sme itself is Ah eh I don't know.
Maybe the last time you called, and I called it the danger zone.
Yeah, Yeah, zone, man.
That's what exactly what? I've been here 24 it's looking that way.
Now it's looking that way.
We is looking that way real strong.
I mean, we're gonna play the Indiana Pacers tomorrow night.
Team is pretty similar to the Denver Nuggets, and it's a very good chance that we can No, that we experienced the same thing that we experienced versus Devon Nuggets, man.
Yeah, man, I just tough man get heckled all over the place.
Yeah, I wear my get daily.
You know this, then? Part of me years.
Uh, so this is crazy out here, man Isn't isn't stuff.
I don't even know where we're to start with.
I mean, it's looking like it looks like we're gonna have a fire show.
Yeah, it's looking like that home.
You have some very interesting call it.
The last time callers own made from last three clothes made some great points.
We'll strike out for them.
I want to ask you this because you know me and Mark, you know, we really had, you know, added the bait last night.
I mean, he flat out just said he's putting everything about the Knicks right now on Julius Randle.
What do you think about that seat? Oh, I mean, you can't have everything.
Can't follow him.
He is a big part, and and that's what I actually want Such honest rise with the last close said with You know, I agree with you.
I feel like Randall where Morris have been held accountable.
The least exact anybody on the team exact long.
I feel like Morris has me.
I'm sorry, Randall is he should have been held accountable more more than anybody else as flies disciplining Play that.
So I, uh, lack of defense.
Like you said his back towards the three point line.
So he's never making that rotation.
Oh, and he's been the main one.
I noticed that last game from Morris Ah, throughout the game, which surprised me.
I don't know if I've missed out a lot, too are perceiving.
Or if that was just that game, what home? Hey, can't be.
He can't be the only reason, but he's the high.
He has the highest percentage, even even more soldier than says, though in my opinion.
Oh, and going back to holding him accountable and the contracting that that's that's tough because he should.
It well, shouldn't have to deal with that.
But that's just the way life is.
The n b a coach, right? You know what I mean? Like so? So I don't know if he was told physically, or she just knows about about it and is acting accordingly.
Oh, but But Miranda has been a disappointment.
Oh, he's been a huge disappointment, Tony.
And you know what I was trying to get across to Mark and help Mark to understand is one.
Like you said, you can't There's no way off 40 point loss. You can blaze.
Place it on one player, right, the team being foreign 18.
No way you could put it all on one player.
It just can't happen.
But also, like you're saying Julius Randle should be the first person that gets.
I don't want to discipline the first person that receives any kind of consequences.
The first person has held accountable.
He's the one making the most money.
You want to send a message that's a coach.
That's who you go after, right? That's what? You That's who you discipline.
That's the guy who you say I am going to send a message by pointing at you first, and I'm gonna put responsibility on you.
And if you don't hold up to it, you're gonna deal with the consequences like anybody else would.
That said everybody else straight.
You know, he's the only person that I have not heard you talk about in that manner, right? You heard him talk about it with Frank.
You heard him talk about it with Knox.
It's statistically what he told them to work on and why they been sitting or why, you know, No, Ms.
They missed a game or whatever the case may be.
The minutes were low.
You heard it about R. J.
He's worried about every guy except Randall and and he has reason to do it.
Yeah, you know one thing I will say.
I watched last night.
I rewatched first half of last night's game, and I did see Randall trying to make a couple of second and third efforts.
I mean, I've seen a couple of times where he was on the side of the floor by himself.
He was defending Paul Millsap in the bald guy swung and someone who was wide open.
He had to leave Paul Millsap and try to contest the three.
I've seen the happy two or three times in that first half where he was going, you know, he was trying to make a second effort here and there to defend the three point shop.
And when it was not his fault that that three point that three point shooter was left open, you know, so you can't say it's just him because it wasn't his fault that three point shooters left open.
He was hustling to try to get there.
Now that doesn't often.
Part of that is the own switching, switching, And and I mean, you can't if you're gonna switch switch based off of who's on the floor.
If Frank is on the floor, you don't switch.
You let him fight over the screen, the lion fight through the screen.
If Mitch is on the floor home, they may be now switching because he could descend the perimeter a lot better than, Ah, the Taj Gibson can.
Uh oh Oh Portis came.
So? So maybe now you switch off off possession by profession, but they gotta know when the switch when not to switch who they're guarding.
It seems like they don't know that it doesn't.
I think the only time they should be switching.
If you have Frank Randall and Morris in the game, I mean, wait a minute.
Frank Berry in Morris in the game.
Those three players, I think they could switch interchangeably, in my opinion, right? Not interchangeably.
Not on smaller guards.
You want, frankly, looking to stay on the smaller guards.
Right? But if you're playing a team that has taller guards, right, those three players, if let's just say Marcus Morris and, frankly, Latina are guarding, um, you know, whoever and those two players are running the screen and roll.
And maybe you could sell Kate, Marcus and Frank.
You guys could switch you.
It's about the same height.
You're both good defenders, right? So switch would be OK.
You don't want to make it the rule, though.
In my opinion, I think you never make a switch.
The rule I think the rules should be.
You stay with your man but you switch in situations where there's nothing else you can do.
I think that should be the rule.
Yeah, and and then it should be on the players to call that.
Listen, I, like be the voice on the floor and call a switch bank, which everybody s constant profession, because we just actually putting yourself at a disadvantage because the team know that that they know exactly what they I have to do to get to play that they want ran.
And it seems like that happens continuously for exactly.
And it should be the person who is behind the screener.
Right? So if my player is going to set the screen, I can tell if my if the person I'm defending is going to set a screen, I can tell if my teammate can get over the screen or not.
And I'm gonna tell him, Okay.
You can't get it.
I'm going to switch.
You get mine, right? But if they could get over it, you could tell him you got it.
You see what I'm saying? You know, so, yes, you know, the players should be calling that out shouldn't be automatic.
I've seen plenty of times, though.
Where coach Fizdale jelly now switch everything, switched everything.
I've seen him on the sideline.
Switch everything, switched everything.
I've heard it through the TV on 11 more thing that I noticed.
And this does prove that they are working on the defense and and switching is a big part of it.
Oh, because I've noticed that the last probably three games home when they have a mismatch or reverse mismatch, they in a disadvantage a guarded on ah, big player.
I noticed the first opportunity they get, they they try to switch it off.
It may not be a perfect rich, but you've got Dennis Smith Garden a power forward.
If he could switch with ah, Doc or even, ah, national barriers like they do that immediately, just sort of, you know, the disadvantage isn't that that high home? And they've been doing that well the past three games.
You home, you're granted, we haven't won.
But I did notice I didn't notice at least that home.
So is it and that's it.
They're focusing on the paint because they get rid of that disadvantage down low but that guard in the three point line that all life, right? And yeah, that that is something that I think Julius Randle, uh, talked about in his post game interview that the, you know, doing the gardening painting.
They're not getting out on those three point shooters.
He's one of the culprits.
I watch him every single time.
You know, he gets so deep in the paint that he's just not fast enough to recover.
He's not the only one, but I see him do it a lot.
Week is deep in a baby.
You can't get back out the individual defenders, so they want to take away the pain and and get in and basically help descends down low.
But I'd rather get killed, download and getting choked from three.
But but But here's the thing is having the Knicks right now.
Tony are they have, like, they give up 42.
8 points per game in the paint.
That's like number one in the league.
That's the fourth best in the league.
Okay, so they're good at defending the paint right now.
Yeah, they've gotta work at defending that three point line Is there good at defending the paint? What? What did you What did you say to the cola? Sorry.
Like what will help? Because I don't know if I missed it, but all I heard was you.
You say what we actually do.
Oh, I don't know.
What? What help? Well, what would help is not sagging, not sag and so deep into the paint.
Right? Because a lot of times Julius Randle sags deep into the paint.
Julius Randle markets more frightening Lykina They they sag deep into the paint when it's not necessary.
It's already two guys.
They're they're sagging deep in the paint and they're watching the ball and they can't see their main right.
I've seen times when they turn around to whether man Woz and they're like, Oh, you relocated.
I got to go over here.
You know what I'm saying? They don't need to be that deep in the paint is only, you know, if the ball is basic basic basketball principle in rule, if the ball is three passes away, get three steps off your man or pass away your four steps off you made right and you have positioned in a way where you can point at your man and you can point at the basketball, you don't say so that you can easily get back out.
And then what you have to do is when the ball swings so pure.
If the ball is four passes away from your man and your four steps off the ball swings and now is three passes away, you gotta take a step towards your man.
Then when he gets the two passes away, you take another step towards your man.
That way, you're moving along with the ball.
By the time the ball gets to your man, you're right there on no sample.
What happens when I was more than coaching what you say? Yeah, maybe I Q.
Morning morning coaching.
I'm sure it does.
It does sound correct that when they see it makes sure that they understand how to take those steps away.
What we have, what I see happening a lot as we get caught in that paint and then when the ball swings the ball, swing swings were still in the paint and then all of a sudden, when it gets to a man, now we're running out We're very reactive instead of Proactiv, right? So we're very reactive on the defense event instead of being proactive on the defensive end.
And then sometimes somebody drive to the basket and we'll have too many people collapsing.
And then when they kick it out, we can't get there.
Sometimes we just don't have Ah, helper helping the helper.
You're saying one person helps.
Somebody else is supposed to help the person that just helped out.
Now we don't get that.
So you know, there's some things that happened, uh, that they are very correctable where if you just work on helping the help or not being drawn to deep into the paint, understanding how many steps to be a way when, when when the ball is on the opposite side of the floor.
Some of those type of things? No.
Obviously, it's easy, you know, And the guy's got to be able to, you know, implemented when they get on the floor, you know, executed.
I appreciate the call, man, cause somebody you know, I got to get the basketball practice and everything, so I'll be getting off here pretty soon.
Well, if you got a quick set Second.
I got actually from okay back.
I want the show to the chat.
Your blackest time doing things for you.
Thank you for becoming a member, Mr G.
Just became a nineties Nick's member.
I appreciate that.
You guys want to become members, Man is the The joint button is in.
They have access to a couple of emoji custom emoji that I'm sure you're like, You know, it's more than just the emojis once you hit that joint, but and you can read all the books that you get.
All right, So make sure you join Hey, so you joined.
So you could be part of some of this exclusive these exclusive pokes and be part of this exclusive fraternity and sorority.
Whatever group club, all of that caller you're live another.
But Nick's apartment, they were going on.
I'm telling man was going on with you.
I just want to discuss a few things, man.
Uh, one thing is concerning Fizdale in this team.
Although he hasn't been dealt the best card.
This is a few things, you know, while we're on that.
I'll just say this team has had such a historical lack of efficient guard play, notoriously known for having a lack of talent at the point guard position, you know, in that predicated itself on ball handling guards.
Which is one thing.
So you know Fizdale doesn't necessarily have the pieces in orderto in order to make things happen.
But the biggest thing that I see is going on is just Bill doesn't have the pieces in order to mask his inadequacies as a coach.
You know, from from an exit.
In the old standpoint, regarding issues with lineups adjustments, you know someone who's gonna motivate players, someone who's gonna hold players accountable player development, which is now in question.
And my whole thing is he's just a very, very amicable, amicable, you know, personality.
And and I feel like what's what's going on? It's just, you know, a lot of smoke and mirrors right now, so I mean, he hasn't been given the best hand dealt to him, you know, as far as having the injuries at the point guard position and so on.
But it's upto a coach to be able to bring those things together, and make it work, or at least make your team compete.
And the way you do that is not by having you know you're six foot nine or 10 £260 power forward, bring the ball up and run plays.
And my whole thing is the Knicks have never really, ever valued the kind of players that contribute to winning one of those kinds of players we see resting on the bench.
And it's a name that not a lot of people are talking about when it comes to, you know, players minutes.
And that's Damien Dots and Damion Dotson, still young, still a draft pick.
And sometimes you just have to say it all the time.
You draft a play out of position with an idea in mind with who they're gonna turn out to be.
But when it turns out that your second round pick out please, their first round pick or your number 30 pick happens to have a better fit within within your offense here system than your second round pick, you just go for what works and you throw out draft projection because at the end of the day they really don't mean anything.
I was one of the first people to always say, You know what? I like the Zach Lavine guy a lot better than this Andrew Wiggins guy that they brought in to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
And I clowned for, you know, years upon years upon years for saying such until Andrew Wiggins never really manifested to be the player that a lot of people you know who scouted him as the Jordan Slash Kobe type, you know, anticipated him being.
And now you have Jack Levin, which every year you know, if his team is producing, he has a chance to put himself, you know, in the discussion for being an All star within, you know, a week Eastern Conference, albeit but still.
So he's performing at that kind of level.
So when you have somebody like Damian Dots and a guy that could space the floor, Ah, guy that's young, youthful, athletic and defend usually makes the right play and you know he's sitting on the bench.
This there's something to be said about that when you have a guy with all this offensive talent and potential, such as an Alonso traer, you know, also on the bench when you have the when you have the ability to get him to hone in on his offensive talents and put the ball in his hands and tell him, You know that the time for you to look for your shot and for you and you three go look for your own shot and to be able to create shots for other players.
These are the things that is up for the coach to instill in the player, not for the player to be put out there on the floor and just be simply told what to do.
Like he has to enforce some kind of personality on this team.
I just I just don't feel that I want to know what your thoughts about that I agree with you 100% man.
He has to, uh, you know, he has to win hold, Like we've been saying the entire show hold players accountable and force anything that he's teaching.
He's got to enforce it with a steel hand, you know, and and you don't let you don't let anything go.
You enforce it with steel hand and you can't be afraid to be the bad guy.
I do I think that is as far as this team playing hard.
That is the biggest issue I'm saying as far as this team playing a hard night in and night out and guys veteran guys, you know, we get a lot of people talk about, You know, some of our veteran guys are not doing what they're supposed to do.
Well, if you want those veteran guys to do what they're supposed to do, then the coach has to hold them accountable to manufacture, hold them accountable first.
So, yeah, that that's what we've been saying, man.
And my whole thing, which is something that you mentioned that I really thought was.
I thought I was alone in this thought.
I really do also feel that Fizdale wouldn't say plays favorites.
But I feel like he adjust his tone almost.
You know what? I'll just scrap the whole thing together.
I really feel like he doesn't press players that he needs to press because he's he's afraid of.
You know the reaction's gonna get from some of these players and a lot of them are, you know, uh, veteran players.
He he only really gets down on the younger players, The players that he knows aren't in a position to really challenge his authority.
Players that are playing hard for him because either they're on their first contract's trying to make it to the next contract, trying to earn minutes.
You know you don't necessarily want to make a bad impression on the coach, so he finds it easier for him to force his will on those players.
But for what it comes down to, he's not really doing, and you know that that comes down to coaching.
Although he hasn't been given the most.
This isn't a four win team by any by any means.
When you look at this team on paper, I don't care how well structured you have N B.
A level of talent on this team you have use on this team, you know, and you have.
You have a motivating force behind this team being the city, you know, it's a place where they know the fans expect them to when they're showing up there every night.
And you know, it's one thing to go out and lose every game.
I don't think the issues that we're going out and we're losing every game.
The issue is that we're going out and we're looking like a second rate basketball team.
You know, we're all looking like the Washington Generals against other teams that might not even be vying for playoff spots or significant seeding.
And that's that's one of the bigger issues to me.
So, you know, although he's not getting the play that was anticipated from a dentist with the junior from, you know, whoever was supposed to make that next leap to be able to take this team to where it's going when that doesn't work, it's your job as a coach for you to take the next step and say, Okay, this isn't working.
What is gonna work? And I have a feeling we're gonna hear a lot of the excuses that he hasn't been given when he is, which I believe he will be eventually fired.
And that's just that's just, you know, turn into a whole other thing.
Hey, man, I feel you want with you, man.
I appreciate you calling in a lot of good points.
Appreciate it, man.
He says, man, have a go.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks tomorrow night and play the Indiana Pacers at home.
We're doing a lot of talking we're talking about.
We talked about the Pacers, but obviously we're talking about just the Knicks, and you know what's going on with the team? Well, let's take a look again as some of the numbers behind this next verse Pacers game.
I don't want to give a big shout out to my man Tony Crow, who just became a seventies a seventies N b A champion member.
Big shot outside.
I appreciate you guys don't forget.
They get your memberships in.
I get your memberships in the next.
Take all the Indiana Pacers, and thats promises to be a game very similar to what we seen versus the Denver Nuggets.
Oh, the match ups at least at least the matchups.
At least the matchup should be very similar the way to the teams play with the Denver Nuggets.
But let's take a look.
Ladies and gentlemen, for those who just joined me, let's take a look the Knicks have for 18 on this season.
And whose fault is that? Who knows? Probably everybody's fault, the entire organization, but they're four in 18 on this season, the projected starters for tomorrow.
Frankly, looking is back, starting at point guard R.
Barea shooting guard Marcus Morris at small forward.
Julius Randle at powerful when Todd's Gibson, that center course.
The Knicks, the Knicks.
Reggie Bullock is still out with a neck injury for the Indiana Pacers.
There, 14 and seven On this season, they're projected starters of Malcolm, Brockton, Jeremy Lamb, T. J.
Warren, the Montecito Bonus and Miles Toner.
He is still out with a knee injury, you know, and I wonder how long Victor the older depot is going to be out on what it's gonna look like when he comes back, because this team is still very good, even with Victor Oladipo out.
Even with Victor only Depot out looking at a team comparison, ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks are on a eight game losing streak.
The average 100.
5 points per game.
They give up 111.
3 points per game.
2% from the field, 35.
1 They grabbed 44.
1 rebounds, the average 19.
8 assists and 15.
The Indiana Pacers.
During a two game win streak, they average 109.
9 points per game.
They give up 104.4.
4% from the field, 36.
They grabbed 46.
9 rebounds, became the average 24.
8 assists and 14 turnovers begin.
The Pacers offensive rating is one of 9.
3 that's 13th in the league, and their defense of raining is one of 3.9.
That's a thin the league.
It'll be the throw team in a row, UH, where the Knicks have faced a team that has a top 10 defense.
Two of those teams, the Milwaukee Bucks in the Denver Nuggets, had a top five defense.
The next offensive rating is one of 91 on 1.
9 that's last in the league.
They're like two whole points behind last season.
At this point last season, the Knicks were 104 The defensive rating is 104 and they were 30th in the league.
This year, they're one on 1.
9 in their 30th in the league.
Worse than last year.
The defensive rating has won 12.9.
That's 23rd in the league, and if they continue to play, the way that they've been playing is going to continue to go lower and lower and lower.
Let's take a look at some key matchups.
Malcolm Brogden, Frank Miller, Kina.
I think that would be a good match up, and we're gonna need Frank Miller Keenan to bring his defense of Pride.
West's It is game.
Malcolm Brogdon is 65 £229.
Point guard averaged 18.
9 points per game, 4.
9 rebounds per game, 7.
9 assists in just under one steel per game.
2% from the field and 33.
I feel like this was a very good pickup for the Indiana Pacers in the off season.
Very good. Pick up, ladies and gentlemen.
And if you know, we're gonna need frankly allocated to come out and play some basketball against this guy, make sure that this guy doesn't get off because he can.
Don't sleep on Malcolm.
Brockton Malcolm Brogdon could get off.
No, it is not what we need at this point.
We don't need another guard getting off against us, but we need Frank.
Millikin is step in a place in basketball, all right, play to his defense of potential, which he's done this season right now.
Needs 67 £200 he having to 6.
6 points but gained 2.
1 rebounds per game.
13 point four assists on 1.
4 steals per game.
He's shooting 39.
1% Minnifield and get this 36.
Frank Miller Akina is shooting 36.
We'll see if it continues.
We'll see if it continues.
But big shot at the Franklin.
Look enough for that, and I like seeing the guy developing his game developed.
We're gonna talk about this point guard thing in a minute before I get out of here, because Elfrid Payton is now back in the fold.
I want to talk about how that's gonna work out, but we're gonna need funding indicating the guard Malcolm brought in like we were just talking.
You gotta chill with switching.
Let Franklin looking a plate.
Malcolm Brogden head up.
Stop switching all over the place, Then I'm playing Malcolm Proctor.
We don't want this guy to get isolated on Julius Randle, where he could have a choice to go to the basket of Shoot the three.
All right, let's jam we contract because those traps Adam, try to get the ball out of his hand.
The problem is, everybody on that starting five can score.
It's higher, starting five, and I can get you a bucket and it's pretty.
Even the scoring is pretty even.
Look at the next key matchup.
Amount its opponents versus Julius Randle.
Julius Randle may not guard the Monte Sabonis the whole time.
A the primary defender, Maybe Taj Gibson.
There's a There's another little matchup quirk, you know, because the modest opponents of 6 11 so is Miles, turning 6 11 off those guys to score the basketball.
Myles Turner is not as prolific as the Monte Sabonis.
It might be a good job, a smart thinking to put Julius Randle, Myles Turner, but types Gibson on the Monte Sabonis.
Maybe we see that happen.
The market's opponents, 18.
4 points per game, 13 rebounds a game, that 3.
7 assists per game and just under one steel per game, 0.
7 steals per game.
He shoots 51.5% in the field.
A lot of it's inside.
7% from three, Julius Randle 68 to 50.
8 points per game, 8.
5 rebounds, but gained 3.
5 assists per game and just under one still per game.
7 steals per game.
2% from the field and 24.
We'll see how coach Fizdale Tuesday use and defend the Montez opponents.
Now, obviously, these guys switch, so you'll probably see multiple defenders throughout the game defending the modest opponents.
And Myles Turner, who's the primary defender will see.
See, that's the problem with playing against teams like the Indiana Pacers.
So many guys are threat.
Let's go back and let's take a look at the starting lineups real quick so you could see what I'm talking about.
He averages 18 points per game Jeremy Lamb.
I think Jeremy Lamb is somewhere around 13 14 points per game.
He averages 18 points per game.
The Marquesa bonus.
He averages 18 points per game.
He averages 13 points per game.
See, that's a problem.
You got three guys that can give you 20 to 25 points if they want to.
Malcolm Warrant, Malcolm Brogdon, TJ want diamantes opponents.
Guys like Myles Turner, Jeremy Lamb.
They can give you 20 to 25 to what? Any given night.
You see these guys? They played a type of it played a type of offense.
That is, is an equal opportunity offense.
They move the ball right, the ball swings from God.
A guy they moved the ball.
And so it's not gonna be easy.
They're not gonna be a big queue win the next time.
I'm not going to be able to Cuban on one person is they keep the ball moving man movement.
That's why the average 24.
8 assists per game.
So I think this this is gonna be a duck difficult matchup.
But the Knicks offensively, I think it's gonna be a difficult matchup.
You said I signed up for nineties.
Do I have to be on the computer? Usually.
What happens, my friend, is it'll come through whether you're on a computer or you're on a, um, or or your other cell phone.
It should come through and show me that you signed up for nineties and I did not see it.
Um, I didn't see it at all, eh? So I'll take a look and see what's going on.
If you want to e mail me like a print out or something like that.
Uh, show me that she that you signed up for it, All right? And we we get it, We can handle it.
We'll take care of it.
Well, go get it taken care of.
So let's move on from here.
Let's talk about this.
Gets while keys to the game.
Ladies and gentlemen, Keys to the game number one.
Show some pride.
We gotta show some pride, man. We can't.
We can't have another debacle like we did against the Denver Nuggets.
Gotta show some pride at the garden.
Gotta play team defense.
We were just talking about this team being a type of team that moves the basketball has a lot of man movement.
If we do not play, team defense will be in trouble, similar to what's happening past few games.
Defend the paint.
These guys school in the paint, all right, the seventh in the league, in points, in the paint, 49 points per game in the paint.
We gotta defend that pain.
But we also got a defended three point line because these guys shoot 36% from the three point line, 36.
5% of the three point line on whatever it is, and they'll take us out saying where the Denver Nuggets did.
I got a battle on the boards.
Listen, these guys, they only averaged well, that the 19th in the league in rebounds per game, the Knicks or 20th in the league and rebounds per game.
But the Knicks haven't always played that way.
We have nights will be get 33 rebounds like last night, so we gotta come and rebound the basketball.
We gotta take care of the basketball.
Ladies and gentlemen, take care of the ball.
Not that we average a bunch of turnovers, but we average we don't average a bunch of turnovers.
Well, we turned the ball over in Bunches.
You know, we'll have 345 turnovers in a row and that can.
That can take you out the game ball movement.
We got to make sure that we are moving the basketball.
We cannot get caught in his one on one stuff.
No, especially not against a good defensive team.
And the Pacers are a good defensive team.
We get caught with this one on one stuff.
We're gonna allow them to queuing on one player and we'll be in trouble.
Those are my keys to the game.
Ladies and gentlemen, those are my keys to the game.
I have a question, though.
What's gonna happen with this point guard situation now overpaid in his back? My man, frankly looking, has been playing a decent game so far.
Well, not so far has been playing well as at a point guard at the point guard spot.
It's not scoring up a storm, but he's playing good defense, right? Dennis Smith Jr.
He's still having his struggles.
What happens? What do we do? I mean, you've seen Elbert Payne and he came right in and it surprised me.
Comes right in after Mr 17 Games, and he's already playing and I mean that.
If that doesn't tell you that Alonzo Old tree here is basically done with this team, I don't know what else does.
Man, really? I don't know.
What else does Elford pay in? Did not play for 17 games.
He came right in play last night.
I mean, he played meaningful minutes online trail and get off the bench until it was a blown out.
But I'll blow up.
Don't know what that means for trade, but anyway, what's gonna happen with this point guard situation now? I mean, I think at least for the moment, is going to continue to be like, Who's Marcus saying D S J is broken? I I agree with you, Mark.
I think I think his spirit.
I think mentally he's out of it.
You know, he's not sure what he's doing where he is.
He's not sure what to do.
Is not confident in himself as a player right now. That's what I feel.
I think it's going to be frightening Latina and then backed up by Elford Peyton and we'll see what happens from there.
And then Dennis Smith Jr will get in, and I don't know what's going on.
You know what? What? What's happening with you? Oh, no, I don't know what's happening.
Rock, you said, just means trade doesn't have a good agent.
So you just signed a deal with Nike? That's what an agent does.
And that's maybe you're not responded to me.
May be responding to someone else.
I don't know, you know.
So I didn't see that whole conversation, but sure, where is it? I mean, sure hasn't been getting playing time.
And he signed a deal with Nike.
That's a pretty good agent, if you can get that done.
You know, congratulations on that deal with 92 but anyway, big shot out Tony Crow acting already shot a Tony Crow out for joining and becoming a seventies, eh? NBA champion.
Um, ladies, gentlemen, if you want to become a member, I'm putting a link right here in the YouTube jet.
You could become a member.
99 month for the to thousands.
Nix 2 99 a month to be a nineties nick and 4 99 a month to be a seventies NBA champion again.
That's 1 99 a month to be a to thousands, Nick 2 99 month to be a nineties nick or 99 a month to be a seventies champion.
You get access to the new um Oh, jin more.
Morty will continue to come out and you get a slew of broke so you can go check it out.
Putting the link right.

You know, joy, don't worry about it.
Nothing's gonna change, Have the same content and Maur.
Now you've been having We want to support me.
It's a perfect way.
I don't know what we're gonna do with that point guard spot, though.
Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know what's gonna happen here. We'll see.
You know, we got some time.
We'll see what happens right now.
I think it's Smith Juniors, but we'll see what I mean.
I think it's frankly pluckiness, but we'll see what happens with, um, you know, we'll see what happens with this whole thing with Al for Peyton coming back.
Hopefully we're helping coming back.
It adds to the O.
Asked the defense it allows, You know, the offense to get home and a little bit more.
I don't know. I don't know.
But the next take on apace tomorrow night and we'll see what happens.
We'll see if they could respond.
Ladies and gentlemen, we'll see if they could respond.
I don't know if it's ever been this bad with the Knicks or if it's just because we're in the moment that it feels so bad.
But this is bad right now.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm ahead up out of here.
