This is Alex from unwrap sports here to break down Thursday Night Football between the Dallas Cowboys at the Chicago Bears.
Bear's got themselves eight outstanding.
Outstanding victory overall is a team 31 to 24.
It was just an embarrassing showing for the Dallas Cowboys, and one of my key topics this week is should should.
Jason Garrett survived this loss.
I know that, Jerry Jones said.
You know he's gonna let him finish the season.
But can you really let him finish the season with the way this team has performed in recent weeks, losing such tough games? It has been such an astounding big time loss, you know, and that's not a knock to the Chicago Bears in any form or fashion.
But it's the way that they lost the way that they came out and performed dropped passes.
Just inconsistent play by Dak Prescott.
You know a lot could be attributed to the players, but this has been a culture of losing that has been allowed by Jason Garrett, who has only given them two playoff wins in his I believe, 10 year tenure as the head coach for the Dallas Cowboys.
please correct me if I'm wrong in the chat and update me on that.
But this has just been this game, really, for the 1st 3/4 was just an absolute dominating performance by the Chicago Bears.
One of my discussion points in this stream is gonna be cancer risk.
You keep this up.
Um, let's just go and dive right into that midst.
Robiskie in the past 6/4 has been the quarterback we all expect that he would progress to after last season's performance.
If you just look at how he played this game, the confidence he just really knew where he wanted to go with the ball.
He was able to check the place that the line of scrimmage was really able to audible and, you know, put his offense in a position to, ah, you know, get their team to get his team to score.
You know, even with David Montgomery, you know, running the ball already very well, you know, they had a fumble, you know, there was moments in this game where, you know, it looked like it was, you know, starting to look a little shaky for the Bears.
He just had this poise in the pocket, this poise pre snap that I just really haven't seen all season with Mitch Strabinsky.
I know he's been kind of phase a little bit by the constant banter on social media on the sports channels.
I'm sure he's hearing all this negative feedback on how he's been playing, and rightfully so.
Thank you for joining the Stream and thank you.
Not that DuPont for joining the Stream.
Appreciate it for Mr Risky.
He really has stepped it up, and he really connects well with Alan Robinson, which, even with him under performing the season, has really found himself a really strong candidate for a number one receiver with Alan Robinson.
And I think he really has shown a lot this season.
Toe justify being that number one guy for the Chicago Bears.
I know a lot of people were not very high on him, considering, you know, he was coming from the Jaguars, you know, he performed well.
They're in the short time that Blake Bortles was, you know, an efficient quarterback for that 11 and 1/2 seasons, and he is definitely developed into a strong possession receiver who can really break open the defense.
Ah, with the defense allows him to.
But what a great performance by him, you know, making a lot of tough catches.
Some of the some of those place he made required him to like to have concentration to not only make the reception, but also take hit after, you know, whether it be, you know, having multiple guys in the area and being able to secure the past and try toe get more yards.
Very impressive by them.
I, you know, the Chicago Bears are on the outside looking in.
They would basically have to go undefeated, and they need a little bit of help to get themselves into the playoffs because they do have the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings in their division.
Now the Bears are currently three games back.
You know, they they would definitely need a lot of help.
They would need Thio hope that the Minnesota Vikings, at the minimum, would have a couple bad weeks.
You know it's the NFL.
A lot can happen, but you know, very impressive for the Chicago Bears to kind of finish these last four games with a statement to kind of build towards next year because this year was completely disappointing for what their expectations were from the previous season and how they played.
But Mitch Robiskie has been doing for at least the last 6/4.
Proven all the naysayers wrong.
If he can finish this the season strong with three consistent games, I think he puts himself in a position where he can really finish the the season strong and give Nagy be ability to be more comfortable with him leading the offense. Forum.
Hey, Andy Lawson.
Thanks for joining Stream man now for Jason Garrett.
Should he survive the loss? I definitely don't think so.
Not at the way that this loss happened.
You know the score right now 31 24 the ending of that.
You know, it's a lot closer because of some garbage time points in the last minute. Fuel Goto.
You know, I just I guess, you know, get some points on the board.
This was all Bears for the 1st 3/4 and I just think for Jason Garrett, I didn't see him really get involved with the players.
I mean, you know, you only get certain clips on TV.
But this team just doesn't look like they are playing for him or there's any sort of desire.
Kind of like what you see Lamar Jackson and John Harbaugh on that.
You know those little bit eclipse that we've gotten to see.
I just don't see that really from Jason Garrett in this team.
And maybe it could be him being there for too long.
He his presence has kind of become quote unquote stale.
You know, he's not very animated on the sideline, you know, he's kind of like just clap in, unites the name on the Internet, and you know, that does work for some coaches like Bill Belichick.
But even players that played for Bill Belichick have said, You know, behind, you know, outside of the cameras, He's a fun guy.
He's a very enjoyable person to be around.
So you know, you don't really hear that much about players with Jason Garrett.
So for me, it's for a team with this much talent on this roster, to go six and seven and lose some of the games that they did lose completely disappointing.
You know, I could almost say this is a situation where you know, it's almost like the Golden State Warriors where you know not to disregard Mark Jackson did.
But it's almost like, you know, if you are on the side that believe that Steve Kerr really made the difference.
And Steve Kerr has a pedigree of coaching himself.
But could the Cowboys get to the next step with another head coach, one that you know can really tap into some of these players potential? I definitely think so, because I just haven't seen the Cowboys do anything over the last decade.
Really, That has made me think they are capable of being a Super Bowl caliber team.
The rosters there.
It's just getting in a performing unison and make it work.
But for the Cowboys, somehow they are in a better position to make the playoffs on the Chicago Bears for the Cowboys, or six and seven Eagles have a real opportunity to basically take Thea tie it up in the division with the matchup.
They have a Monday Night Football against the Giants.
I actually have the Giants upsetting the Eagles, so that would theoretically keep the Philadelphia Eagles, you know, down in this division.
But it's this division is just so easy for the taking, especially with you know, you have a Z is a cure. Elliot Mari Cooper.
I'm actually very high on Michael Gallop.
I think he's a great talent.
Randall Cobb is the number three receiver.
You know, this team is just on paper.
Doesn't make sense.
It really does not make sense that they lost the game the way they did.
But, you know, somehow the Cowboys are still in it, and somehow the Washington Redskins, at three and IRS three and nine are still in it.
And, yeah, what a what a game I was just It was all Bears all day.
I personally had on my parlay, the Cowboys winning by two and 1/2 or covering by two and 1/2.
Gary should definitely be fired tomorrow, but, yeah, it's it's it's the part of while they're still in the running to finish the as the NFC East crown winner.
But, yeah, that might be his saving grace.
If we're being honest, I've heard reports that have said that it's a Super Bowl winner bust kind of year, but I guess it really just depends on you know if Jerry Jones is really that high end in which it performed at that level to earn that sort of kind of, ah, allowed for slack.
You know, like the Warriors this season.
You know, Steve Kerr said, I could get fired for this one season, but yeah, what a terrible showing by the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night football.
You know, it seems like every week over the last 34 weeks, they've had an opportunity to really establish themselves and get a strong division lead, and they just continue to under perform.
And you know, I, for one, definitely think the Cowboys should be playing at a better professional performing a lot better than this.
But yeah, what a would a strong game by the Chicago Bears? Let's not take too much away from Let's not take make.
Too much of the Dallas Cowboys will give credit to the Chicago Bears, a team that is six and six fighting for it, trying to stay alive in their division finish and ah wayto handle business here on Thursday Night football.
