Hello, everybody, and welcome into the broadcast.
He's coming to you live right here on sportscasts, or it's Thursday Night Football from the Windy City.
It's the Dallas Cowboys with a 16 6 record at the Chicago Bears, also with the six and six record from Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.
Well, thanks, everyone.
So much for joining me tonight.
Hope you're having a wonderful Thursday night and no better way to get another week of action in the National Football League underway van with an enticing National Football Conference matchup between the Cowboys and the Bears.
Let's take a look first at the NFC East hangs where the Cowboys are in first with the six and six record the Eagles in second at five and seven.
So despite the Eagles with a even record, they are still very much so in playoff contention.
No doubt about that.
They currently have the four spot, but the thing is, Philadelphia's right on their tail, and there's no way that they're going to get a wild card.
It'll either be Dallas or Philadelphia going to the playoffs, and they'll all come down to the final weeks of the regular season Of course, Zico.
Elliot will be very important for them tonight, so keep an eye on him, and this should be a good one.
You know the Bears with less of a chance, even though these teams both of the same record the Bears.
The only way they're gonna get in is through the wild card, and that's gonna be hard to to.
There's still a slim chance, but you never know.
And Michelle Travis Key is the quarterback.
Ford Chicago Still, last week against Detroit, I had a pretty good game.
29 for 38 338 yards.
That was a season high for him.
Let's see if he can carry that mo mentum into tonight's matchup against the Cowboys cause the Bears.
Sure, we'll need it if they want to come out with the wind tonight.
Meanwhile, Jason Garrett for the Cowboys under Oh, well, you know, under a lot of scrutiny, I should say not really pressure because Jason Garrett did say that he's coaching for the rest of the season and thank you Ah, and for joining the broadcast.
I appreciate that a lot.
Some key and actives tonight for the Bears include Taylor.
Excuse me with the concussion, among many others for Chicago, and we'll see if that that a large amount of injuries end up hurting the bears tonight.
We'll have to wait and see and find out tonight as we're just about ready to get this one underway.
I appreciate all of you stop and buy on the stream tonight and, yeah, I hope you guys are having a wonderful night and I appreciate you stopping by.
This should be a good one.
Both teams six and six.
You know, both teams have been pretty inconsistent and both teams are out on the field and we're ready to kick this one off.
The Cowboys were fired up in the pregame.
They were dancing out there.
We'll see if if they'll be dancing at the end of this one as we get ready for kickoff.
It's an electric atmosphere, actual at Soldier Field, a 7 20 local time kickoff.
The fans are on their feet, waving their tells, and it will be the cowboys receiving.
The bears will kick it off to get this one underway.
It will be Eddie Panero to kick it off on waiting to return it for Dallas is Cedric Wilson.
The weather tonight in Chicago, 43 degrees, The winds scone southwest.
At nine miles an hour, it feels like 38 degrees.
So not freezing cold.
But it is chilly, as you'd expect in an early December on early December night in Chicago.
All right, the kick is up from Panero, and we are underway from Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, And that kick will go into the end zone for a touchback.
Dak Prescott for the first time tonight, and Prescott, who has 3788 passing yards this season.
That is the most in the NFL, by the way.
You know not a lot of people, I think.
I feel like our realizing how good he really has been this season.
So he is out on the field.
We are ready to get this one under way.
Both of these teams played exactly a week ago on Thanksgiving Day, so back to back Thursday games for both teams and here we go.
First nap of the game.
It will be handed off to Elliot Elliot to the left side, and he's taken down for a gain of about three on the play, maybe four, before the tackle was made on the play by Nick.
Here is the Cowboys offense for you.
They got Tyrone Smith, Xavier Sewell Fuel, Oh, Travis Frederick, Zack Martin, LeBeau Collins, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, Randall Cop, Michael Gallop and Jason Witten.
Now pick up a four on the play from Ezekiel Elliott, the Cowboys to the line of scrimmage.
Again, This will be handed off once again.
Eliot runs it right down the middle of this time, getting every yard he Ken is.
He is pulled down by the legs, and he gets a few on the play.
Third and short for the Cowboys, it was fuller with the tackle Kyle Fuller, the cornerback for Chicago.
All right, third and three.
Already a big third down coming up for the Cowboys here, this one just underway from Soldier Field.
Well, they pass it for the first time tonight.
It sure looks like it.
A spread formation here.
Here's the snap press.
Gone has time, throws it down the middle.
A catch is made by Randall Cobb, and he's down at the 41st down.
Well, I ce catch thereby Randall Cobb and out tonight for Dallas.
Tony Pollard with an ankle injury.
Connor Williams is on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Ash with a neck injury.
Jeff with a shoulder in Antoine Woods out with a knee injury so they have quite a quite a number of injuries themselves, aren't you? Set it down from the 40 yard line.
Here's Prescott looking the throw scrambling to the left.
The throw is off the hands and out.
Incomplete, intended for Michael Gallop and thank you.
I believe this would be.
Is this Pepe or Uncle Jim is? Which one is it? And the Chicago Bears defense For you.
They got Roy Robertson, Harris, Eddie Goldman, Bilal Nichols, Khalil Mack, Nik Witkowski, Kyle Fuller.
Ha ha! Clinton Dix, Eddie Jackson.
Well, whoever it is, if if If it's Pat, they are Uncle Jim.
I appreciate you joining the broadcast.
I don't know if Uncle Jim got the computer toe the computer that Pepe yet, but if so, whoever it is, I appreciate you hopping on the stream, and that's a nice carry, thereby Elliot and 1/3 down end one coming up for Dallas, This one just underway Thursday Night Football here on SportsCastr.
Two teams going at it that are both six and six, a crucial game for both teams.
If the Bears want to keep their playoff hopes alive, they'll need to win tonight.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, a division leader right now in a better position, but still a huge one for them now.
Elliot, right down the gut, and it's you needed the yard.
He got to a first down Dallas across midfield.
So a couple of third down conversions so far tonight for the Cowboys.
And there's another one first in 10 4 Dallas.
This is the first drive of the game.
Callen More is the offense of coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys, this game taking place at Soldier Field in Chicago, The Cowboys having the 49 yard line of Cow of the Bears.
I should say the throw is clocked by Jason Witten.
Did he make the grab? Knows Blake Jarl in my apologies Jar win with the catch, and it's a first down, and Prescott was quickly on the run to the right side.
It was a great throated Darwin.
Darwin bobbled it a little bit at the end, but he did indeed make the catch.
The Cowboys in the huddle here, a new set of downs.
A nice grab their by Blake Shar win one of three tight ends for Dallas.
They break the huddle.
The current drive.
Seven plays, 38 yards, three minutes and 45 seconds.
Thank you, Carrie and Jane for joining the broadcast Elliot with a quick move extending their past the 35.
So will be second in about seven.
Coming up the Dallas Cowboys against teams 500 or worse, a six and one record of 32.
6 points per game, plus five turnover differential.
But against teams above 500 and 5 16.
4 points per game in a minus nine turnover differential.
So the struggle has been really against quality teams.
The place elections so far in this drive.
Five rushes, three passes in motion.
Here is Amari Cooper.
This will be handed off Elliot to the left side on the sideline and dives out for a first down Ezekiel Elliott, effective so far in the opening drive for the Cowboys, and they keep moving it downfield.
I appreciate all of you joining the broadcast tonight.
Hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday night and there should be a good one.
This should be a good one.
I definitely think you know this is the best time of the regular season.
Of course, where playoff hopes playoff seeding is up for grab at the dying end of the regular season, this will be a fake hand off Elliot scrambling to the right side, and he is under pressure.
He'll just running out of bounds and avoid the sack.
That's a loss of about two yards on the play.
Prescott had no one open to throw to, and he really should have just threw it away right there.
Okay, it is Pepe joining? I appreciate that.
I appreciated what is going on.
Pepe hope you're having a wonderful night, and that's great if you're all set up.
So now you can watch me upstairs.
That's great to hear Pepe.
Second and 11 here for the Dallas Cowboys and L E in motion.
Here is Dak Prescott throws down the middle of a complete.
That one was intended for Michael Gallop, but Kyle Fuller had him covered well and broke the pass up.
Now 1/3 down in 11 coming up.
We've seen the Cowboys already convert to third downs on this very Dr can.
They make it three for three.
We will have to wait and see this one, though.
Much, much harder.
Situation 13 11 Nowhere near the third down in shorts they had earlier in the drive there.
72 for 1 47 on third downs this season.
Their current Dr 11 plays 49 yards, five minutes, 45 seconds.
Here's Dak Prescott.
He's under pressure. Throw to the right side.
Caught first down. Dallas.
It's Blake Charlyne with the grab here on the near side, and the Cowboys convert yet again on third down.
How about it? And Ciara when Megan has run to the outside and making the grab, he had to get up there, too, and then made the plague before taking a hit first and 10 for the Cowboys.
All right, here we go.
It's now at the 14 yard line of Chicago, and now a time out will be called by Dallas.
First drive for the Cowboys so far tonight.
We got ourselves 8 41 remaining in the opening quarter.
The Cowboys Nothing that there's nothing but the Cowboys moving quickly down the field.
We'll see if it can result in a touchdown after this commercial break.
Make sure you keep it right here on the stream.
Everybody, I'll be back in a moment.
Welcome back, everybody.
Thank you so much.
Everyone thinks Jason, Lisa, Dan and Karam for hopping into the stream.
I greatly appreciate it, and we're back from a Dallas timeout and first in 10 Press gone on the run to the left side, and he has taken down on the play.
A great tackle made that time by brunch.
Urban so press, God split second really know thinking behind that one.
He just took off right after the snap.
You got a yard second and nine.
Is the Cowboys received back into the huddle? It's Thursday Night football here on SportsCastr and Elliott in the backfield.
They got two receivers on the near side, one on the far side, and here's the snap.
Cowboys have it at the 13 yard line of Chicago.
This will be handed off to Elliot Elliot, waiting for a gap, but he doesn't get one.
He has taken down on the play.
Ah, great tackle made by Nick.
Excuse me, That's a mouthful.
Kwiatkowski with with the play and now will be third down for the Dallas Cowboys.
See, Elliot has been stopped quite a bit so far.
He's at a couple of nice runs, but other times not so much.
The current drive.
14 place, 63 yards.
They chewed up half of the quarter here.
Unbelievable, really, on this opening drive.
Now it's 13 8 under centers Prescott.
It's a catch made by Michael Gallop and a first down Tell us they convert yet again on third down.
The fourth time on the very first drive before Ha ha Clinton Dix made the tackle.
Yeah, and Gallop was wide open in the middle of the field there.
And thank you for the whistle.
I appreciate that.
Thank you very much.
I'm glad you're enjoying the broadcast now.
The cowboys have it.
The three yard line of the bears.
This landed off.
Oh, no, it won't press.
God takes themselves and she will be denied.
What a tackle, thereby Kyle Fuller.
Prescott was given it everything he got, but that Bears were determined to stop him.
It's second and goal now.
I certainly got fooled there.
I thought he had handed the ball off Prescott, but he took it himself.
But the Bears were prepared.
The current drive, now 16 place, 73 yards, almost nine minutes.
All right, Here we go.
Second and goal from the two.
All the receivers on the far side, a handoff.
Sally Eliot runs it in for a Dallas touchdown.
The Cowboys are on the board first at Soldier Field.
One a drive, eight minutes, 57 seconds.
Would you believe it? And the Cowboys take the lead.
No problem there for Elliot with the two yard touchdown run.
And he found the lane and took advantage of it.
And now comes the extra point from Brett Maher.
Here's the snap. The hold.
The kick is up in its through the uprights and good.
Make it seven. Nothing callous.
Well, that's exactly the start.
They would have wanted a sick you.
Eliot runs and runs it in, I should say, to cap off a very successful drive it results in seven points.
Cowboys up seven.
Nothing 603 remaining in the first quarter will see that, uh, Chicago Bears offense on the field for the first time tonight.
So keep it right here on SportsCastr.
You'll find out how they respond after this.
All right, Welcome back, everybody.
It's Thursday Night Football.
How about that scoring drive for the Dallas Cowboys? 17 plays, 75 yards, eight minutes, 57 seconds.
That's the longest opening drive in the NFL this season.
Both plays and Timewise.
How about it? Wow.
So finally, the Bears will get the ball and this will be returned by quarter roll.
Paterson takes to the right side past 25 trying get some blocking.
Takes it across the 30 before he's finally tackled at the 35.
It's a nice return there from Patterson to start this drive off for the Chicago Bears, and on comes Mitchell Travis Key.
The last four games he's playing better.
A three in one record eight touchdowns for interceptions, 979 past yards, One rushing touchdown as well spent a rough season for him.
A lot of people arguing that they should put Chase Daniel and myself included.
But they've stuck with Mitch Strabinsky and spent better these last couple of games, but still room for improvement.
No doubt about it.
Stravinsky looking to throw on the first play by the Bears, and it's a short past caught thereby, The catch was made.
I do believe there by UM, J. P. Holt's.
Here is the Bearsoffense for you.
They got Charles Leno, James Daniel's Cody White hair.
Rashad Coward, Tariq Cohen, David Montgomery, Alan Robinson, Anti Miller in just for Horst in.
So, yeah, they got 12345 tight ends J.
Holt's one of them and making the grab there for the first completion tonight.
For Chicago, this is second and three true Miss Key to the right side.
He'll run themselves on the sideline and gets enough for the first down before taking it out of bounds.
Great job there by Travis Key.
Great awareness as well, knowing that you only need a few for the first down, and he got it on the run.
New set of downs for Chicago.
So the bear's back in the huddle here, looking the respond to that Dallas touchdown on on the first drive, where they used about nine minutes.
Chicago hasn't their own 46 making progress already.
Holtz and Motion.
Snap handoff to Cohen Cohen with the spin around move, and he gets only about a yard or two on the play to Marcus Lawrence with the tackle.
Here is the Cowboys defense for you.
JaMarcus Lawrence, Malik Collins, Michael Bennett, Sean Lee, Jalen Smith, Joe Thomas Shadow be always a woozy Dairy and Thompson, Xavier Woods and Byron Jones.
Alright, here we go. Second date.
It was a game and two on the play shotgun formation here.
Quick release down the middle.
It's caught by J.
Hope he affords the original tackle and takes it all the way to the 32 yard line of the Cowboys.
How about that? J.
Holtz making an impact early on in this game, and that was easy for the Bears.
Holtz was wide open, and then he avoided the uh, tackled by a woozy eh? It was the A took a hit from his own teammate there, an accidental collision.
And here come the Bearsfirst in 10 and Cohen in motion.
It's handed off to Montgomery, but he has nowhere to go.
He has taken back forward.
Progress may give him a yard or two on the play, but the Cowboys? Sure we're ready for that one.
David Montgomery with the carry Foreign.
The Bears seven.
The Cowboys lead it later on in the quarter.
Number one on Thursday Night Football here on SportsCastr second and 84 Chicago in motion.
Here is corn around Patterson, Stravinsky under pressure.
You voiced the sack and you'll rather himself down the middle.
He gets the first down and more before Sean Lee makes the tackle and Travis Key took off.
How about it? And it pays off as well.
Ah, first down Bears.
Travis Key was almost taken down for the sack there, but he did give credit to the O line, protecting their quarterback.
And then Travis Key saw the open space and took off, and that whole middle of the field opened up for him to take advantage of and the new set of downs for the Bears.
They have it at the 19 yard line of Dallas into the red zone.
The red zone offense this season has been somewhat good.
This will be hand off to the left side.
Cohen will be taken out of bounds there by Byron Jones, a pickup of three there for Cohen.
Yeah, and Alan Robinson, the wide receiver for the Bears.
In his last two games, he's had 14 catches for 217 yards and two touchdowns.
So watch up for him.
I know he hasn't been involved yet tonight, but hey could definitely be a big factor in this one.
Lined up on the near side on this snap.
The current drive.
Seven place, 50 yards a little over four minutes and counting.
Tremendous Ki As time he'll go for the end zone is picked up.
No, I was out of bounds.
They'll say you was out.
It was a good effort there by Jordan Lewis, and it was a bad throw by Travis Key.
There were no Bears players in the area.
Let's make sure that he was indeed out of bounds.
This should be an interception.
The Bears are quick to the line of scrimmage, but now the referees blow their whistle and I do believe Jason Garrett is going to challenge this one.
All right, Louis right foot's down the left foot with the drag.
That should be an interception.
He got both feet in.
He got both feet in folks.
All right, they're going to take a look at this one.
I think it's going to be Dallas Football.
Jason Garrett, Challenging challenges.
We'll see if it pays off.
I think it will.
After this. Stay tuned, everybody.
It's Thursday Night Football here on sports cast of the Cowboys lead. It's seven. Nothing.
All right, welcome back, everybody.
The Thursday Night Football here on SportsCastrs.
So Jason Garrett challenged the call dinks Karam for coming back into the broadcast.
It looked like an interception to me.
Let's take a look here.
Yeah, his right foot clearly.
And on the pylon, jammy drags the left foot.
This this is clear and obvious, in my opinion.
Yep, There we go.
The Cowboys defense with their first take away in the last five games, 263 opponents naps in between those two takeaways, but they finally and that trout in its Dallas Cowboys football while the challenge pays off.
What an effort by Jordan Lewis to get that right foot in first of all, and then the ability to drag that left foot.
And now the Cowboys, uh, the Cowboys take over at their own one yard line.
Excuse me? 1 36 remaining in the first quarter.
This will be handed off Elliot trying to get out of his end zone if you avoid a safety and he gets a yard on the play.
Second down and nine coming up for Dallas and yeah, on the interception.
It was just a bad throw by Mitch Strabinsky.
There's nothing else really toe to say.
I mean, this is the problem with Travis Key.
He could be very inconsistent as the Bears team as Penhall season long.
You know that first drive was looking promising for Chicago, but just like that, a bad throw in the Cowboys.
Jake over 2nd 9 from there to Prescott, throw to the right side caught by Jason Whitney, and he's shoved out of bounds at the six.
Pick up a four on the play, third down and five for Dallas and actually an injured man for the Chicago Bears and that injured man would be Roque.
Want Smith on that tackle on Ezekiel Elliott? He's the one who actually got injured.
Thanks, Josh, for joining the broadcast.
What is going on, Josh? Hope you're having a wonderful night.
35 here for the Dallas Cowboys is a throw down the right side.
Oh, that was almost picked off by Chicago.
Kyle Fuller almost had.
It didn't quite hold on.
It'll be fourth down nonetheless, and the Cowboys will have to punt here on the three and out.
Hey, what's going on? Josh, I appreciate you coming into the stream here on SportsCastr.
Oh, that was awfully close.
A risky past there from Prescott trying to get into Michael Gallop, and now Chris Jones for the Cowboys will have to punt it with his heels, right about at the back of the end zone to Rico in back to return it.
He's got a little breathing room.
Jones does the punters up and Joan and excuse me.
Cohen will let it go, and that will be down at about the 47 yard line, so the Bears will be in great field position to start this drive is the old line blocking.
I know, right? Good question, Karam. Good question.
I'm not so sure.
Just authority second commercial break here.
So we'll keep it here on SportsCastr the first quarter.
Almost coming to an end.
The Bears with a chance to run one play, probably.
And you know, overall, that interception.
Of course, They didn't want it, but it didn't hurt them.
Awfully bad, because they do get in great field position.
They forced the Cowboys three now and now they get the ball right around midfield down seven.
17 seconds remaining in the opening quarter.
The Bears break the huddle and we are ready to go the second drive of the game for the Bears, looking for a better result.
They actually market at the 49.
I thought it was more like around the 47 but now and this will be handed off David Montgomery to the right side.
Avoiding some tackles takes it all the way of a 45 yard line.
A pickup of six there from David Montgomery.
And that should do it for the first quarter.
And yes, it will.
So 15 minutes done.
The Dallas Cowboys seven.
The Chicago Bears zero.
The Bears with the ball.
Keep it right here on SportsCastr everybody.
It's Thursday Night Football here on SportsCastr 2 500 teams going at it tonight in an NFC showdown.
I'll be back for the second quarter after this.
All right, Welcome back, Everybody see And punk is in attendance for this one, and he is an ****yst on the W. W E. Backstage.
For those of you who don't know like myself, I just found out about that anyways.
Back to football action here on Thursday Night Football at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois.
It's the Dallas Cowboys seven.
The Chicago Bears zero.
The second quarter getting underway right now.
Thanks so much for joining me tonight here on Sports Caster here.
Too risky. He fakes the throw, now scrambling.
He's taken down by the legs for the sack, and that's a loss of five on the play.
It is Thompson with the sack.
I want a nice job there by Darian Thompson, and Stravinsky was looking a scramble, and now the bears will go no huddle 39 for the cowbell for the Bears.
Rather they only gave him a loss of four.
I thought it was five, but they'll be generous to Chicago.
Three receivers on the near side, too bunched on the far side.
Someone jumped the gun there, and now this will be a throw to the right side.
It's incomplete, and there is a flag down.
I thought it was on the Cowboys in real time.
I think Stravinsky might have known that he had a free play, but let's make sure that that is confirmed.
Looks like it's gonna be on Dallas. Yes, it is.
Yes, it's a false start on to Marcus Lawrence of five yard penalty in an automatic first, down third and four now for the Chicago Bears.
I feel like that was the first flag of the game.
We haven't seen many of this game, and the Bears looking up the tempo.
Here they go. No huddle.
Now Travis Key will reset here and now it's risky with it.
It's caught by Cohen, and he runs it in for the first down before going out of bounds.
Tariq Cohen, cool as you like it.
He can turn on the wheels as well.
He caught that just sprinted in for the first town right away with his speed.
It Z makes it look so easy.
The first downs tonight.
Dallas have seven of them.
The passing our tonight 44 to 30 in favor of Dallas time possession almost doubled by Dallas.
A throw caught in Holt's has room, and he takes up for the end zone.
Takes it inside the 10 Shapey Holtz with a ton of space.
And, boy, did he take advantage of it first and goal.
Chicago Wow! J P.
Holds has been involved quite a bit tonight, and Mitch Travis Key found him a little throw over the top.
Holt's caught in around the 40 and just took off after that.
Some great walking as well, you do have to say by Charles Leno and company.
All right, the Bears out of the nine yard line J P holds so far tonight with three receptions for 56 yards.
This weekend's off Montgomery.
A stutter step some yards after contact takes it all the way to the five.
A gain of four on the play for David Montgomery, second and goal for the Bears.
So this is exactly what the Bears wanted.
After the interception thrown on their first drive, they forced the Cowboys on the three and out.
They get the ball back and look at this.
They have an opportunity to tie this game up second and goal from the five.
Watch out for holds.
He's on the near side in motion, is quarter out.
Or rather, Jason wins.
The play clock winding down.
They get the snap off.
In time, Comiskey launches down the middle.
It's caught for a touchdown.
Chicago Alan Robinson with the grab.
I told you to watch out for him and look at that.
His first reception is a TV, and the parents are on the board with 12 13 remaining in the first half.
The Cowboys seven. The Bear six.
And the point after coming up from Eddie Panero shortly.
Robinson cutting in the throat, right on the money from Travis Key and to Robinson with the catch.
And just like that, the Bears have a chance to tie it up, and that's a great job by Chicago.
After a tough interception on their first drive.
Here's the extra point.
It's up from Panero, and it's good we got a tie game, folks.
7 to 7. The score.
Keeping right here on SportsCastr.
It's Thursday Night Football J.
Holtz in the Chicago offense coming alive.
It's all tied up 12 13 to go in the second quarter.
I'll be back after this commercial break. Jones.
Go anywhere, everybody.
We've got a good one.
All right, Welcome back to the broadcast, everybody.
I appreciate everyone joining me tonight.
It's a packed house in Chicago at Soldier Field, and we're ready to get back in action.
77 That scoring drive for Chicago was a good 16 place for 51 yards in this kickoff will be let go into the end zone for a touchback, so the Cowboys will start it off at their own 25.
So some Cowboys headlines throughout the season.
Jason Garrett is in the final weeks of his Cowboys tenure.
Boring a fairy tale ending, said one newspaper.
Thanks for nothing.
Buffalo Bills stuff sinking Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving, said another newspaper, the Dallas Morning News, saying creating the Cowboys this Dallas team is the biggest flaw.
So here we go first in 10 for the Cowboys end.
What's the other respond to those critics? This is a huge night for them, and Ezekiel Elliott taken down for no gain.
Their the tackle made.
Bye bye, Lol Nichols.
They give me yards.
The 2nd 9 Ford Progress gets him a yard there.
Jerry Jones, Of course, a lot of eyes hunt him a lot of ice on Jason Garrett.
The Cowboys, a team that are definitely under performing.
I say, You know, they have a really good team, and for them to be six and six is, you know, it's disappointing if you're if you're a Cowboys fan, for sure.
This is a fake handle.
Prescott running to the right side.
He'll just throw it away.
He was under pressure.
He had no other option but to throw it away there as he was under pressure immediately, 39 coming up for Dallas and putting on the pressure.
There was Kevin Pierre Louis.
An injury update for your oak.
Want Smith with a pectoral injury is out for the rest of tonight's game.
That's unfortunate Thio here, such a such a big part of this Chicago Bears team.
The linebacker Roque Juan Smith.
We saw him injured earlier.
He's done for the night, started nine here.
Can the Talis Cowboys convert another third down? Throw it down the middle over the top and it's been complete.
It was intended for car but couldn't quite make the grab.
It would have been quite the catch, but the Cowboys will have to punt it yet again.
Two consecutive drives with the Bears have shut them down, and you know Randall Cobb was open there for a second.
The throws a little bit off and press got frustrated with himself there, and the Bears will get the ball back once again.
So outcomes Chris Jones to punt to to re Cohen.
He'll punch it from around the 15 yard line of the Cowboys.
The punch is up to the left side, it goes, and this will be caught by Cohen at the 35 sprints across the 45 before he goes out of bounds of the 46 yard line.
Once again that bears in great field position to kick off this Dr.
It's tied up at 77 between the Cowboys and Bears, 11 15 ago in the second quarter.
Cal Cowboys once again back on defense.
The Bears with the ball here on SportsCastr.
Stay tuned, everybody.
I'll be right back after this, All right, We are back, Everybody.
A great, great game so far.
The score between the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears.
It is December, after all, and this is a huge game for both teams, both of these teams trying to make the playoffs.
Mitchell, Travis Key tonight six for seven.
And as the Bears break the huddle, they have a chance to take the lead for the first time tonight, they start this drive off from their own 46 great field position.
Fortress Key, 11 15 remaining in the second quarter.
This we handed off and Montgomery takes off down the left side.
He gets a first down, David Montgomery turning on the Jets.
Nobody could catch him for a couple seconds there.
Finally, he was grabbed by the legs, but too late because they got the first down, some great blocking as well by the offensive line of the Chicago Bears.
You have to give them credit and Montgomery such ineffective an effective part of this offense in the running game for Russia's tonight for 22 yards.
Shotgun formation Risky goes to Montgomery again.
He takes it down the middle of this time and you still on his feet.
Takes it across the 25 yard line for another first down.
David Montgomery on a whole nother level here.
Wow! In Charles Leno gave him the opportunity to find that gap.
But then, some yards after contact, he was battling their against Xavier Woods.
Thio Get a about five more yards after the contact was made, and they now have it at the 23.
The play selection so far.
Russia's eight passes from the Bears and they go the Montgomery again.
But this time the Cowboys were ready.
He only gets back to the line of scrimmage for no game.
Lily Collins in with the tackle for Dallas.
So second intend for Chicago.
Chris Richard is the passing game coordinator and defensive backs coach as well.
Meanwhile, Rob Marinelli is the defensive coordinator in defensive line coach for Dallas.
Alright, here we go.
Travis Key under center.
He'll take a we'll make the most of the play clock.
It's down the five years of Snap Comiskey under pressure.
He'll go for the corner of the egg zone, and it's incomplete.
That one was intended deep for Alan Robinson, but he was covered tightly.
But Byron Jones? So 1/3 down in 10 coming up for the Chicago Bears.
That's great coverage.
And let's make sure it's no P I Yeah, not enough there.
Robinson was claiming for it, but I don't think it was enough.
Their third and 10 now for Chicago and risky Given orders here to the line.
Cohen to his left.
They got one receiver on the far side through the near side, too risky looking to throw down the middle.
It's caught, but still more work to dio and affording the tackle here and taking off for the Chicago Bears is Anthony Miller.
He got the first down, but there is, Ah, flag on the play.
Let's see what the penalty is all about.
This might be coming back.
It was a great effort by um it was a great effort there by Anthony Miller because he still had a lot of work to do after making the catch, but it looks like this is gonna be on Chicago.
That's a killer for them.
Yep, blocking the back called 80 on number 83 that would be J von whims.
I don't know about that call.
I don't know about third and 13.
Where's the tackling? I know, right? Karam? Yeah, there's there's been some bad tax tonight.
I will say so, man.
Nah, he's frustrated as he's been all night and third and 13 now for the Bears.
Throw to the left side.
It's caught and still more work to do and not enough from just for horse dead.
So the Cowboys stopped them fourth down.
I'd expect the Bears to attempt a field goal here, and that's exactly what they'll do.
So the field goal unit is out for Chicago.
Eddie Panero will attempt his first field goal of the night this season.
He's is 15 for 20 on field goals is long coming from 53.
This one will be from 36 yards.
You think a chip shot, but let's see.
The kick is up in its through the uprights and good.
The Chicago Bears take their first lead of the night, 10 to 7 over the Dallas Cowboys.
Yes, the the drive didn't result in touchdowns, but the Bears do take the lead 10 to 7.
806 remaining in the second quarter.
Now the Dallas offense with some work to do.
I'll be back after this break. Stay tuned.
Here on SportsCastr.
It's Thursday night Football will be right back.
Are welcome back to Thursday Night Football here on SportsCastr.
The lights are shining tonight in Chicago, and the fans so far are content with what they're seeing.
Chicago Bears Lee that scoring drive for the Bear.
Seven place, 36 yards, three minutes, nine seconds, resulting in a Panero 36 yard field goal, and this kickoff will take a few bounces.
It will be returned here from Cedric Wilson.
He takes it out to the 25 20 yard return There from Wilson took an awkward bounce, too, but on that penalty called on the Bears on whims, hon, they're offensive drive.
I didn't see much there, and then there was a face mask.
It should have been called on the Cowboys, I think, and Matt Nagy was furious with the referees.
Rightly so not really could've resulted in a touchdown.
That Dr of the Penalties is what made them settle for a field goal eight minutes on the dot remaining in the second quarter.
They can't all Prescott under pressure.
He'll throw a deep and it's over the hands of a Mari Cooper there, an incomplete second in 10 coming up.
Well, considering the heavy pressure on Prescott, it wasn't a bad effort from him, but second and 10 coming up for Dallas from their own 24.
Thank you so much.
Everyone who joined the broadcast tonight.
I appreciate it a lot.
I appreciate the support, everybody.
And here we got a second in 10 the total yards tonight, 1 42 to 81 in favor of Chicago.
This will be a fake handoff.
Prescott throws out the middle.
It's got a nice grab there by a Mari Cooper at about the 44 yard line.
It looks like first and 10 Dallas, and they'll go no.
Huddle here, quick to the line of scrimmage midway through the second quarter, or rather than 39 not the 44.
I miscalculated their my apologies.
Even tonight, eight apiece for each team.
This one will be handed off. Prescott.
Rather, Prescott handed off to Ezekiel Elliott.
Elliott takes off.
We avoid the tackle across the 30 all the way to the 29 yard line, Ezekiel Elliott says.
Whatever you can do, David Montgomery Aiken do just as good, if not better.
And Ezekiel Elliott took off their some questionable tackling from the Bears.
But how about that some nice moves as well by Elliot avoiding a few tackles and that that is a nice run there, all the way to the 30 yard line of Chicago.
Ezekiel Elliott with 1056 rush yards this season.
This is his third season.
Now, with 1000 or more rush yards, this will be a handoff once again.
Elliott Elliott, this time.
Not so good on the run.
He didn't pick up about three yards on the play, maybe four, But yeah, on that Prescott Proto Amari Cooper, on the follow through his hand did go in to Khalil Mack.
He was a little shaken up there, but it looks like he's all right.
But keep an eye on that on the fall through.
We've seen that quite a bit this season.
That's how Drew Brees got injured on the follow through.
A Zig Elliot with 12 rushes for 69 yards tonight and the solo touchdown so far for the Cowboys looking for their 2nd 1 here, the play clock winding down its that one second to get it off in time L. A. On the right side.
He bolts through and gets about three yards on the play, so it's 1/3 down in short, coming up for Dallas.
They've converted on third down time and time again.
Third and four here for the Cowboys.
Amari Cooper Tonight two targets, one catch for 14 yards.
They haven't the 24 yard line of Chicago.
It's getting loud inside Soldier Field.
The fans are waving their towels and on their feet.
Prescott barking orders to the offensive line.
Here's the stamp cross.
Scott throws the left side, but my oh my, he was looking for Jimmy's Oh Ali.
But they were nowhere near being on the same page.
Hola, Wai ola Wall, Excuse me, Kept on running.
He didn't even know Prescott threw the ball until he looked back two seconds after the past was incomplete.
Huh? So the Cowboys will have to settle for three outcomes.
This will be 42 yard attempt.
The visiting kickers at Soldier Field are just one for six from 40 plus yards this season.
So a 42 yard attempt here and the kick is up and it's wide right.
Soldier Field continues to haunt visiting kickers in the Cowboys are unable to cash in on the drive, and the Bears maintained the lead.
Nothing wrong with the hold.
Their look good to me.
The kick one wide, though exactly five minutes remaining on the second quarter.
Not too happy about that.
That there's still up 10 to 7.
They will get the ball after this commercial break.
Keep it right here on SportsCastr Mork.
Coming your way in a moment.
All right, everyone, I am back here on the stream.
Five minutes remaining in the first half, fans.
The Cowboys unable to cash in on that drive.
The field goal 42 yard attempt from Maher goes wide.
Here's Stravinsky, avoiding the pressure he has time, but not that much time.
He'll have to throw it away.
And that's incomplete, right? Yep. No fumble.
No fumble there.
Sean Lee trying to convince the referees.
But they weren't buying it.
Second intend coming up.
And Travis Key? Omo, That almost was a fumble.
Yeah, The pressure was put on immediately.
Well, not immediately, but suddenly, I should say, by Jo Thomas, And he almost forced the fund will.
Second and 10 4 dead for, uh, Chicago.
My apologies for Chicago.
Both these teams with a six and six record.
Chicago from their own 32 yard line.
The play clock down the two.
We're gonna get the snap off in time.
Oh, they do just barely.
This will be a fake handoff.
Travis Key takes off, then slides at the 42.
So that's a nice pickup.
There will be started.
About four coming up for the Bears.
The Cowboys definitely fell for that one.
They thought he handed it off.
And you're on that third down looking back on the Dallas tribe Prescott and ah.
Oh, all the wall.
We're just not on the same page.
And they were Prescott was clearly frustrated with him on the sideline.
Complete miscommunication there.
In the end, I had to attempt a field goal in the field goal in the end.
No good third and six year risky to the right side throw.
And it's caught a great catch there by Alan Robinson.
He gets out of bounds immediately for a first down Chicago, so the Bears convert there and they move the chains.
So the Bear is looking pretty good tonight so far as they break the huddle here.
Alan Robinson with two receptions for 12 yards and a touchdown tonight.
Shotgun formation in motion for Chicago is J.
Here's the snap hand on and off goes tight to re Cohen, and he takes us to the 50 of 49.
A pick up of six there.
Cohen in Montgomery, both of them so explosive when they carry the ball second and four for the Bears year.
So the Bears go to the huddle.
Here, get and here we go.
3 12 remaining in the first half.
Right around midfield, is where Chicago has it.
Their lead in the play clock wind down.
Here's the snap handoff down the middle goes David Montgomery, but he is immediately taken down there by the Cowboys.
He picked up one, but that was it.
So 1/3 down coming up for the the third down, coming up for the Dallas for the Chicago Bears.
Excuse me third and two.
I am often I apologize everybody and Hill heading to the sideline for the Dallas Cowboys and Chicago, now breaks the huddle.
The Dallas defense has been out there a while so far in this first half.
Oh, that's offside.
The whistles blow a flag down on this is going to be on the Cowboys, that looked like, anyway.
Looked like they jumped the gun.
A first down Bears.
That's what it should be.
And that's where this wow neutral zone infraction called.
And it's on Antoine Woods or no, it's on Michael Bennett. My apologies.
It's on Michael Bennett, the former Patriot who is now a cowboy, and it's 10 to 7.
The Bears lead it with 2 12 remaining in the second quarter, and that will bring us down to the two minute warning.
So two minutes remaining in the opening half yours for the Chicago Bears 10 the Dallas Cowboys seven.
And I'll be back after this commercial break.
Stay tuned, everybody.
I'll be right back.
All right, everyone.
I am back from the two minute warning.
Thanks so much for joining me tonight.
It's the Chicago Bears taken on the Dallas Cowboys, and the Bears lead it 10 to 7 with two minutes to go in the second quarter and Chicago with the ball trying to put some more points up on the board.
It's a new set of downs for them at the opponents.
45 yard line, shotgun formation, A handoff thio Montgomery Montgomery with a nice move and didn't get the first down.
I think he might have maybe 1/2 yard short.
It was a great effort from Montgomery right there.
He was just a tad bit short.
So second and won the Bears go no huddle.
It's once again a handoff to Montgomery, but this time he stopped.
He actually lost one on the play.
Or maybe he got back to the line of scrimmage.
Let's see where they mark it.
Yeah, he got back.
So third and one, the Bears once again go no huddle.
I'd expect a handoff once again, no Travis Key just takes themselves.
Then I think you got enough.
Yes, he did such a risky with the quarterback sneak, and it pays off for Chicago on get the first down now a minute remaining in the second quarter.
So no huddle once again for Chicago.
They still have two time outs, but they're just playing quickly here now.
Scrambling to the right side under pressure is Mitch Stravinsky.
Stravinsky will run it on the sideline and he'll head out of bounds.
He picked up about four on the plane.
You know he can run.
That's the one strength of Of of himself at quarterback, the 2019 Big 10 championship game.
It's a good one.
Number one Ohio State against number in Wisconsin.
That's Saturday at eight Eastern time, five Pacific time.
That should be a great game in college football, all the conference championships taking place this weekend.
So Michelle Travis Key, nine for 12 tonight, 92 yards touchdown, an interception, 28 rushing yards as well. Keep in mind.
The current drive for Chicago nine plays, 39 yards, a little performance throw down the middle and It's caught a big hit afterwards.
That catch made by just for horse dead.
Will they give him the first down? I think he might have been just a bit short.
No, they give it to him.
All right, move the chains.
The chain gang on the move.
30 seconds remaining in the second quarter.
But now whistles blow in.
A flag is down, so a flag is down.
Let's see what the call is here.
The referees will talk it over quickly and we'll see what the ruling is.
Yeah, it's false.
Start on Jesper.
So it's a five yard penalty.
It remains first down, and you could sell in the replay that he did.
Ah, jumped the gun of it there.
So 29 seconds remaining in the second quarter, the bears will use their their ah, second time out to avoid the, uh, the 12th Runoff Because of that penalty Because of that penalty.
Thanks so much everyone for joining me tonight.
Hope you've enjoyed the broadcast 30 seconds on the clock, first and 15 coming up for the bears.
They want to end this half on a good note and remember they will get the ball to start the second half as well.
Alright, here we go.
Here's Mitch Stravinsky, Stravinsky to the left, and it's caught in the spin of Brown.
Move and off goes in the Miller inside the 10 yard line.
Anthony Miller with the first down and more, and the Bears are on the move.
They hurry up here, but they will use their last time out.
21 seconds on the clock.
Wow, that was a risky pass by Travis Key.
I thought that was gonna be incomplete.
There were two Cowboys right in the area, but it made its way to Miller.
He made the grab and Mawr after that.
First and goal for Chicago timeouts remaining.
Dallas with three of them. Chicago None.
22 seconds to go in the half. The total yards.
Tonight Chicago 200 to Dallas, 1 33 passing yards.
Chicago won 13 Dallas 59 rushing yards, 89 74 in favor of the Bears.
The Bears want to touch down here now that it's first and goal.
The red zone offense tonight.
Three possessions, one touchdown, one fuel gold one interception.
A little bit of everything.
Let's see what this one brings us.
Five seconds on the play clock.
The throw to the end zone up for it is J.
What? It's incomplete through his hands.
Second and goal.
Now with 18 seconds left in the half, there's a good effort.
Joven whims, a big guy so he could get up there.
But it was, Ah, a nice job there by Jalen Smith to break it up.
And it was the right idea from Mr Biscuit and current Drive for the Bears.
12 place, 60 yards, four minutes, 42 seconds.
They haven't the eight yard line of Dallas.
Here's Stravinsky launching for the end zone, but it's incomplete.
That one is through the hands of Javon whims, and he's down in some pain.
Javon whims is down.
He's grabbing his right knee and some clear and evident pain.
Let's see what exactly happened.
Oh, yeah, it's the way that Ah, it's the way that Jalen Smith landed on his knee.
Yeah, right there of his leg.
Yeah, it's definitely the landing there.
And you hate to see this.
Well, Travis Qi went for whims again, but He was in clear pain immediately.
Yeah, it's just the landing.
So 14 seconds to go in the second quarter.
Coming up for the Bears.
But the concern right now is for Jovon whims, and we'll step aside and see what his status is after this injury.
14 seconds left in the half.
Chicago 10 Dallas seven.
I'll be back after this. Stay tuned.
All right, Welcome back, everybody.
So, Javon Whims just now able to get up after sustaining that injury a minute ago.
So that is a good sign if you're a Bears fan and now third down and goal 14 seconds remaining in the second quarter for the Chicago Bears here.
So let's see what they do here.
They have it from the eight yard line.
Travis Key under center, three receivers on the near side, one on the far side. Here's the snap.
Chomsky has time throws down the middle.
Is that one? Carter? Is it picked off? They'll say a touchdown, but Smith is claiming he has it.
He has it in his hands.
Is this interception? Ear's in the touchdown.
It was ruled a touchdown on the field.
So as of now, the Bears have a 16 to 7 lead.
All right, a simultaneous catch, kind of like a jump ball in basketball.
And to get all sports involved.
It's kind of like a tie goes to the runner in baseball.
They'll give it to the offensive player.
They both kind of had it there.
Yeah, they both had it, so they'll give the Bears a touchdown.
It was a great effort, though, by Jalen Smith.
He was right there.
Robinson able to come down with it for the touchdown and 16 to 7 Bears can take a 10 point lead if Eddie Panero is able to make the extra point.
Here is the P A T, and it's through the uprights and good.
Make it 17 7 Chicago in the lead, Still 10 seconds left in the half, some very interesting touchdown there from Robinson, where he had in his arms.
It was taken away by Smith eventually but kind of a simultaneous catch from both of them.
So they did give the touchdown, and Stravinsky and the Bear sideline fired up after that touchdown as well.
This is the performance.
The Bears were looking for, of course.
Still another half to go, but definitely a good first half from them.
They lead it by 10.
Eddie Panera will kick it off to Dallas.
That scoring drive for Chicago.
14 place, 68 yards, four minutes, 50 seconds, capped off by an Allen Robinson eight yard touchdown catch.
So the kick is up here will be returned from at the 10 yard line.
Off goes Cedric Wilson, avoiding some tackles and takes it all the way.
The 30 yard lines.
That's a nice return there.
The thing is, there's three seconds left in the half, and now some chip ***** afterwards from both teams and the Cowboys will most likely need it here.
That's what I'm expecting anyways, and that should wrap up the first half.
So the Cowboys offense on their first drive.
They have seven first downs, four for four on third down 75 total yards, seven points.
But since just two first downs, no third down conversions.
They've been quite so they need the ball, and that takes us to 1/2 time.
In the books, folks, Your halftime score.
The Dallas Cowboys, seven the Chicago Bears 17.
Thanks so much for joining me on the broadcast tonight.
I greatly appreciate the bears will receive the second half kickoff that will do it for my broadcast.
I have school tomorrow, so I have to head to bed.
But enjoy the rest. You're not everybody.
Enjoy the second half as well.
It should be a good one.
I'm Samuel Rea saying so long. Here on SportsCastr.
I'll see you next time.
