Um I hope you guys will enjoy, uh and join in.
I'm gonna make sure that this goes out on Twitter.
Um, I want to make sure that we get ah, we get everybody from Twitter.
Maybe we'll see.
Um, but bottom line, we've got ****nal.
Who obviously lots of struggles recently.
Um, it's Freddie Young Young bird.
2nd 2nd match in charge. First home match.
Uh, struggled last time and has changed the lineup a little bit.
We'll talk about that in a little bit.
Brighton obviously gave Liverpool.
Liverpool is buying team or my English team.
You can see my team.
El Paso locomotive F so you can see right over here.
Still getting used to this? No pasa Texas.
Um, I'll pass a locomotive in the U.
S. L. That's my scene.
But my English team since ah, since 05 I was a glory hunter following Istanbul.
But Liverpool is my team.
Brighten Give him fits.
Last week, despite Virgil Van **** getting embrace.
Brighton gave him problems.
So and that was at Anfield.
And we saw We saw how things went for Everton yesterday.
Um, the breaking news, I guess.
Out of that, Marco Silva, um, is out as Everton manager, and, uh, yeah, we're into, uh, so brighten could really give ****nal fits here in, uh, in the Emirates.
Can Youngberg get it? Get it back, Can he can get it going again.
Um, I guess we'll see.
It's gonna be an interesting matchup.
We'll talk about the lineups here in a second.
Let me just tweet out this link, and then we will get go in in terms of the the ****ytical side.
Then we'll get into this game and we'll talk about We'll talk about the matches it's going on.
You guys can obviously jump in the chat as ah, as you please.
And, uh, yeah, let me let me get this look out.
Um, nice to see everybody joining in.
I hope you guys are enjoying.
This is my 1st 1st ever SportsCastr broadcasts that will hopefully get an entertaining match up here.
Um, I do some play by play, I guess.
Um, some alternate commentary for a past.
A locomotive for my podcast.
Um, if you guys are into the U.
L or American soccer at all, be sure to check that out.
Um, if, um yeah, as we get into Ah, they still they still have the chef of the United versus Newcastle match, which, despite the fact they're in Sheffield Newcastle lead So hit.
You're staying development, Um, on that on that side of things.
But let's talk about let's talk about these lineups, Um, for ****nal vs Brighton.
Brighton? Um, not not a whole lot of changes, um, from the team that lined up against ah against Liverpool.
Although I would say that perhaps there are a couple of a couple of surprises in the people that miss out Glen Murray being one of the main main people who misses out.
But Matt Ryan and Goal, Al Zaatar, Dan Bern, Dale Stephens and Louis Dunk are gonna play.
Uh, maybe it'll be.
Maybe it'll be a back five.
Maybe it will be a, uh, back three.
I mean, it's probably a back five.
Um, so Yeah. Dale Stephens.
Adam Webster in that central defense.
Um, Shane Duffy on the bench, interestingly enough, And then they're gonna play with that midfield to essentially, which becomes a four when the fullbacks push forward.
That's going to be Davy Propper and errand boy as it was.
And then it's a front three.
Um, or you could maybe see it as a as a 10 with Pascal Gross.
Um, playing as that playmaker neo Ma pay gets the start, Um, this time around ahead of Glen Murray.
Erin Connelly, uh, also starts the youngster who has been very good for Brighton so far this year.
So, um, scored a couple of important goals, so assume a Bernardo Trussardi Montoya, Duffy, David button and, uh, Glen Murray are on the bench.
Um, so interesting kind of lineup, I guess for Brighton because they have changed things up just a bit from the team that started.
I think Montoya you'd expect to normally start on Glen Murray obviously has been an important player for Brian for a few years.
So, um so yeah, couple of couple of interesting moves.
Speaking of interesting moves, we've got the lineup out from ****nal as well.
This is gonna be Thank you. Thank you.
hockey guy for the for the popcorn is still still learning the platform, as you guys know.
But but thank you for that.
Really? Appreciate that.
Um, and, uh, go ahead and hitch back, but, um all right, so ****nals lineup Leno starts in goal.
That's a no brainer.
Um, and then it it looks like a normal back for for for arson.
Also, Bellerin is going to start right back.
Classic match it left back center center backs of so crisis and David Louise getting the start.
Um, still still surprised by the lack of curing Tierney.
Um, I don't know if it's still a ah fitness thing.
Um, but here in Tierney, obviously big signing in the summer, hasn't really seen a lot of action, but center back.
So practice, Dad, Louise, Classic match will be out there on the left.
This beak is actually in midfield, and it's Granit Xhaka and Lucas Herrera who are going to start again.
Doozy is dropped to the bench.
So interesting move there.
And Uzi gin doozy out.
Tara and, uh, and Shaka will partner in that midfield and then ah, it's it's kind of a attacking.
I want to say it is a e for 231 Ah, and then So messengers Well, Joe, will IQ and, uh, Obama Yang are going to start in those attacking midfield positions about meeting obviously will kind of float around that that front line, um and then lock is that leading the line? So no room for Pepe in the starting lineup.
Nikola Pepe, who's obviously had kind of a rocky start, his to his tenure at ****nal and then Gabrielle Martinelli making the bench, the youngster who has been on fire in the cups for arson.
Also, it has been, Yeah, it's been an interesting a couple of lineups.
And I mean, as you even look at the at the Premier League table, Um, it's It's not It's not kind.
Uh uh, especially to ****nal these days.
But, um, which Sheffield United trailing Newcastle Who? Newcastle sitting 11th.
Interestingly enough, Sheffield Ninth and ****nal sandwich between them in 10th on 19 points level on points with both of those teams.
If the result holes as it is, um, ****nal, with the game in hand of both those teams as well, they have a chance to move a Tottenham and Crystal Palace er and men united.
They could move all the way into sixth with a win.
Head of Man United.
Um, who currently occupied that six, uh, six spot.
Um and then for ah, Brighton, They're sitting just above the relegation zone.
One point clear of Everton, level on points with Southampton and only ahead on goal difference.
So everything obviously getting sent into the relegation zone, which prompted the firing of Marco Silva.
But, um yeah, we've got Ah, we've got an interesting one here cause ****nal can ****nal can ease a lot of the woes and a lot of the concerns that got, um that got one eye Emery fired in the first place.
They can ease a lot of that by with a win today.
If they can jump back into six, then they put themselves back in into the conversation as far as the top four spot, they obviously they they would have a lot of work ahead of them to catch Chelsea, who currently sitting that four spot, but it was still over half the season remaining.
Anything can happen, uh, for Brighton, they're looking for any type of result they've gotten.
They've gotten a couple of Ah, a couple of wins, but they've lost.
Lost their last three.
So they obviously a bit unlucky against Liverpool.
Well, I say I'm lucky.
They they were beaten pretty pretty comfortably by Liverpool, but they, uh, they made things.
I'm uncomfortable for Liverpool with a pretty clever set piece after the spinning off of Allison.
Obviously done mistake.
Um, but we'll see.
We'll see what they can do against ****nal, which who's back line has obviously been been pretty porous.
I mean, looking at ****nal a negative one goal difference.
Um, 20 goals for 21 allowed, 21 goals allowed in just 14 matches.
It's not been good enough.
And I mean, you have to say on formas Well, four draws on a loss in their last five.
So no wins, no wins in their last five.
Um, it's been it's been tough.
And, uh oh, Bill Appreciate the appreciate the foam finger.
Um, and, uh, yeah, we're about we're about ready for kickoff.
Um, this should be this should be a very interesting, very interesting match.
Really looking forward to it.
Um, as as a kind of tried out the lineups or or the way that they've been submitted.
Anyways, it looks like Brighton will be playing a 433 And ah, and we'll see kind of how ****nal shape up.
It looks like a 4 to 31 I'd be surprised if it's anything else. Herrera.
We saw a little bit last year.
Terreri given a little more license to get forward at times, Um, under Emery, he it seemed like he kind of faded in terms of the amount of playing time he was getting.
So we'll see if his role in the team kind of grows again because he had this, Uh, he's had this period where he's kind of become less influential but comes in.
Forget doozy today.
Um, yeah, we'll see.
We'll see how how things shape up.
Just a couple of minutes from kickoff, the teams were out and we're really just waiting for kickoff.
Graham Potter, the Siegels boss, um, did well to get to get brighten up.
Just just have to see whether he can, whether he can keep them up on dhe.
That's always the question for these.
For these sides that that seem to move up and down between the Premier League in the championship quite regularly.
For Fredi Youngberg, the challenges is obviously different, and it remains to be seen whether ****nal will move for a more full time option, Uh, quickly or if they'll kind of take the buyers are out.
And I think Youngberg has a big say in whether they make a higher now or whether they wait until the end of the season.
I doubt that they will go the United route and higher in full time.
We've seen how the sheen has has come off Ali, Gunner soul showers, rain.
So we are kicked off now.
Alexander Locke is that getting started for ****nal, it is ****nal vs Brighton at the Emirates.
See who? Pardon me.
We'll see who can come out of this one with a win.
****nal, desperate for win on form and brighten, desperate for a win to distance themselves from that relegation zone, so we'll see who can come away with it longball over the top.
Connelly's chasing this, and David Louisa's barreled through his back.
We'll see if we'll see if that gets looked at inside 30 seconds.
We already have our first incident and then the ball cheaply given away by Obama.
Yang brightened, going the other way.
Know brightened, just slowing things down a little bit.
Loose dunk the captain dunk the goal score against Liverpool last week with that quickly taken free kick after Adrianne came on for Aly Song, it was a interesting goal.
Uh, that Martin Atkinson did allow in the end, but no harm, no foul as, ah, as little still got the wind.
So not too concerned.
But Brighton here happy, too possessive.
All they're trying to play off in the back.
But bad giveaway here might give the ball to ****nal. Obama.
Yang was running through, and he was he just hold back by Webster.
No, and, ah, right now headed the other way, Ball rolled through the Connelly.
Connelly tries to play it out wide for my pay, but it's Ah, deflected out, and it'll be a throw for Brighton.
The the initial.
They haven't even had a chance to go back and look at it yet his errand boys on the ball or as a few of my ah, a few of my friends calm.
It's your boy, um, as it's out for another brightened throat um they have to kind of go back and look at this incident.
I mean, they won't in terms of v A r but this incident it was a miscommunication between Louise and Leno and goal is now the ball's hooked clear Bye ****nal.
They're gonna head back the other way.
It was, Ah, interesting incident, as Jack is trying to avoid.
The attention of Moya and Louise is that wide Louise and and Leno miscommunicated.
Leno kind of barreled through the back of ah of Connolly as he was bearing down on Leno and just unnecessary really a CZ this ball roll all the way back to Ryan and goal.
He'll he'll play it out long, Britain again trying to play out, but not sharp enough.
An attack, I have to say, Um, not much.
One for the, you know, attendance band banter or anything like that.
But a lot of empty seats in that lower bowl of the Emirates, and it's It's something that is fairly rare, I think, but more common more common nowadays as the past back to David Louise Connolly again chasing every ball back there, but Louise able to get it back to Leno rules him out first crowds.
It's ****nal showing both sides, you know, dangerous Getting forward at any point but also extremely fragile at the back.
And really just one moment or mistake is it is enough to completely undo them.
It nearly happened inside inside the 1st 30 seconds, which they still haven't replied, because I am interested to see the actual the actual contact and what happened between movies and Leno.
But ****nal get the ball back under control.
Leno, looking for options, goes long down the center of the field.
It's cut out initially by Brighton one back well, then by Tarun.
Then Shaka plays it out wide.
DeLorenzo getting forward wife for Obama.
Yang rolls back through bellerin, trying to put the cross in towards the centre.
It's a rare no, it was, er, still trying to flick it on.
The forelock is that forces the corner is well worked by ****nal in and I think that's what ****nal fans want to see.
They want to see Hector Bellerin and involved in the attack off them in Yangon, him combining well down that cider za will be over the corner.
Here's the floats it in toward the near post cleared away by Brighton, right and looking to break as my stream cuts out. Oh, no.
You're failing me Big time.
Well, that actions come to nothing but Brighton are on the ball.
Apologies for the stream interruption, NBC.
Sports not treating me well, writing again.
Happy, Happy to possess the ball.
They know if they hold on to it, it's It's another moment that ****nal's attack isn't isn't going down their throats.
As Moy found it, some space out here on the left hand side.
He's one on one with the crosses and forces the corner off of So Crassus Crassus doing world to stop that cross coming in.
But it will be a corner and, um, brightens brightens deadliness from set piece.
I think it's somewhere in the region of eight or 98 of eight or nine, um, preferably goals in a row have come from set pieces.
They haven't scored from open play in like several games, so these are the type of moments that Brighton will look to capitalize on Six minutes gone, Cross comes into the sensor, headed away at the near post by Giaka Ercel chasing but more able to collect it.
Crossing coming in Pasco Gross was looking for it.
More eventually delivers the ball to the far post.
But Dunk, who had stayed up from the corner, can ah can't get that under control, was well behind him and brighten squander that opportunity to threaten ****nal from the set piece, I could see a little bit of shirt pulling, going on lock.
Is that it? Then your post Brighton brighten? A little lucky to get away with that, I have to say, um, pretty obvious.
You're pulling as well and surprised they haven't gone back and looked at that in V A r.
But it's the nature.
I mean, we had yesterday in the Merseyside derby, we had, ah, Virgil Van **** basically, um, climbed all over by Yuri mean a while Michael Key and held his arm on a corner, and nothing was given.
So it's, um yeah, it's the nature of the game as it as it stands right now, I'm sure everybody's got some ****y via our takes.
And if you do go and drop those in the chat because I always enjoy, uh, seeing what people think of V A r.
And what people think of the way that the Premier League has implemented replay.
Obviously, we've had a you know, American sports for quite some time now.
Um, the NFL is having their own problems, but the Premier League, obviously is, have a lot of growing pains with how they are has been implemented, and it's left a lot of people unhappy.
So, yes, you have you have any hot takes on V A R.
I do have do love to hear him because because I think just the consistency and the way it's implemented is not good enough.
Um, more or less.
What fixes it is a timer, but it's a discussion for a different days are similar.
Getting forward here across might come from a meeting at the far post.
No headed behind dutifully, uh, defending that far post burn telling you steam.
It's that he didn't get a call and he had to head it behind because he didn't know exactly where the threat was and where the rest of the the ****nal Attackers were.
Did you settle for a corner ****nal Purcell to take again, this time to the near post lockers that does get the flick on and at the far post.
Its put behind lock is that imploring the linesman's to continue to watch brightens defenders, He said, You gotta push in the back.
It isn't push and you'll really see it.
Gross is smart in the way that he doesn't.
He doesn't extend his arms at all, Eh? So so smart Move from the Brighton from the Brighton attacker.
But it does lead to another ****nal corner, Ercel, this time from the other side.
Is that again having a shirt bowl? But again, nothing given are still able to keep it.
Louise, with low drive, then kicked out of the keeper's hands by lock, is that that will not That is not allowed.
Ryan had had caught Louise is low drive and the flag was up against Ah, against luck.
Is that as well? He did go a bit early as now.
Matt Ryan under pressure.
They're from Joe Willis, who was, uh, pressing the Bretton Keeper.
Joe will IQ score of a fantastic goal at Enfield in that crazy 55 care about cup game, Um, highlighting once again in the replay.
Yeah, gross gross needs to be careful The way he's defended Lock is that on corners is, uh has been effective, but could definitely be.
Could definitely be construed as illegal.
So he'll definitely will have Thio have to watch his behavior on set pieces the rest of the day because that will start to become a, uh, an issue, especially.
I'm not sure why the V a r hasn't hasn't done something about it yet.
But then again, as we discussed, they are inconsistent in its application.
It was like, Is that outside? Know about being coming through? It might still come lock.
Is that wanna save Ryan? And then Alcide finally given it, did look, it looked in the initial stages like Alexander Locke is that was coming back from outside position in the buildup to this.
Yeah, he's well off.
Um, I think the referee was was allowing play to go on until, uh until the shot was saved on def.
It had gone in the back of the net.
Obviously, they would have pulled it back for offside.
But fairly straightforward call is now Brighton, trying to get forward themselves well seen out by Bellerin off of Moya, and that will earn ****nal A A throw? UM, a couple of, ah, couple of contentious moments where we played about 12 minutes.
It is still 00 our thermal at home against Brighton.
Brighton defending decently so far on catching a couple of breaks, perhaps in the penalty area in terms of shirt pulling on Ah Hon corners.
But ****nal growing in their influence of this game is Louise plays a long diagonal ball out towards off Bambi, hanging out there on the right wing.
But he's flight for outside ****nals.
Attackers will have to be a bit more disciplined.
Um, in there approach could have been flagged outside.
Now a handful of times three offsides to zero as a zay said that the graphic came up now partially.
Why Brighton hasn't been outside is I haven't done much attacking yet, as Bellary manhandles Connolly there on that brightened left wing in Brighton.
Love a free kick number in doing well.
Thio get the tactical foul in that.
In that situation, Ryan will have to play it long for Brighton.
Burn got the initial flick, but jacket cut it out.
It was then cut out.
Subsequently, buy Brighton.
Davy Propper, the one doing his duties in midfield, but our son would get the ball back under control.
David Louise, Sideshow Bob as he's Ah less affectionately known Thio supporters around the Premier League, and his defending is at times high comedy, which is highlighted.
A lot of ****nal struggles this year, right? And get the ball back under control.
Ryan pressured again.
Luck is that luck is that kind of lamenting why no one was pressing with him on now.
Long ball played over the top.
Connolly chasing this one was so Crassus Socratic.
That's just enoughto get that one under control.
Please it back to Leno.
It will be chested down.
Bye Dunk for Burn before down this right hand side.
Al Zaatar, Who's in for Martin Montoya in that right back spot where you'd expect him doing well there.
It's worked out wide.
Deliver an early cross straight into the hands of Burn.
Leno, comfortable for the German keeper, has been one of the few bright spots for all the goals they concede burn.
Leno has made more saves than any keeper in the Premier League as advantage played here for ****nal and eventually brightened win the ball back, so no advantage was seen.
But I guess Connelly's Connelly's a judge Thio have have run its course way.
Getting four down that left hand side.
They tried to play it in field, but the past, cut out by ****nal longball over the top.
Looking for lock? Is that similarly dealt with by Louis Dunk? Louis dogs starting the game? Well, um, he's not had a ton to do, but the interventions that he has made has have been have been influential for his team.
And he's doing a good job of cutting out that early pass over the top that ****nal are looking for thegame settling into a bit of a pattern here.
Excuse me of punch counter conscious movement.
Trying to get for it again are some.
Win it back off, boy.
But again, they're looking to launch that counter down the right through Obama Union.
The the the pass is air just too too simple for writing to deal with.
****nal obviously have the players to be a threat on the counter, and, uh and they're just not executing it well enough right now.
Um, see, if that improves that certainly it certainly will need to cause brightens vulnerability is is not, um when they're defending static, it's It's more so when they're defending when they're defending in transitions.
Um, I think once they got deep, they can deal with most situations as they try toe work.
Some intricate link up play there through ah, through Davy Propper but his past little clip through ball not, uh, not able to find Connelly and Connelly doing a lot of work up front for not a lot of rewards so far.
But now ****nal getting forward down the other way down the other side of the field.
Left hand side classic match linking out er's ill plays it in field for granite.
Giaka Classy Netflix it through for hours.
Oh, well done Might come for LA Gazette and he's blazed over and the offside flag was once again luck is that caught offside.
Freddie Youngberg, ****nal legend Uh, and you can see luck is that did Jim go a tad early and that's the fourth time.
Or Excuse me? It was actually Ercel who went early.
Lock is that, uh, blazing over.
Anyways, he initially tried to flick, and now Brighton headed straight the other way burnout wide for commonly out on the left hand side.
Connolly looking to cut in and deliver a shot but caught well by Burn Leno, right as the clock hits 18 minutes elapsed, it is Ah, I believe, brightens first true attempt on target and first really, really danger for ****nal since that.
That opening exchange, where it could have been an issue for Leno and Louise to deal with, but they did eventually get everything cleared, are still trying to play for it again.
This time, Stevens, the defense of midfielder for Brighton with the foul game's been a bit choppy in that way.
But there are times like this last sequence where it goes and in a heartbeat, essentially and, um, they try to play that ball down the line for a bending again ****nal, but they still haven't gotten it right.
Burn doing his duties down that left hand side.
But this time the linkup is good and boy does just enough to get that ball off the boot of messengers.
Oh, out for a national throw taking quickly by Herrera.
But luck is that chest it out of play for a goal kick.
Luck is that cutting a bit of a frustrated figure in these opening 20 minutes proper place to pass out wide for gross Grizzlies.
It off to Stevens Central looking for options.
He's he's got some options ahead of them.
Plays it through for Connolly was he brought down development on the edge of the area, and it is a free kick.
It's it's given as a free kick just outside the box and a yellow card for Hector Bellerin v.
A. R will look at this incident.
It did look like as that ball was tripped over the top.
It looked good, and Connolly looks like he may get on the end of it.
He pointed right where he wanted it.
Bellerin comes across and just clips his heels as he's going in.
Was he in the area? Is the question and that's what a R will look at big moment here.
As the clock hit 20 minutes, Delron caught out by the ball over the top, and it's it's a poor decision toe to bring Connolly down.
It's such a tight call.
He is right on the edge of the area.
When the contact is initiated.
The only question is, was the foul finished in the area, which which can still be given as a penalty.
It is, you know, important to note that.
So it'll either be a free kick from just outside the area, which is basically a mirror image of of the free kick that they scorpions Liverpool last week.
Um, it was just the other side of the box that they that Louis dunk score from dunk.
Not with the cleanest technique.
He basically passed it into the far corner of law.
Adrian was trying to set his wall, but there's four Brighton players over the ball.
Errand boy Pascal Gross.
The most interested Berlin trying to get things set.
It is confirmed Justus a free kick.
And now Pascal Gross and Aaron Boy, the only two players left Pascal Gross looks set to take this.
We'll see what type of technique he takes from 18 and 1/2 yards as the balls blown off of the spot goes to Ah goes to collect.
Correct that crows standing diagonal to the ball, Terrero taking up a kneeling position behind the wall.
He drives it low, but it's into the wall, collected by my boy.
The wall did its job, as is the commentators obligation to say, and we'll be a Brighton throw burn.
It's a missed opportunity with he went for power, and it's It's a technique that might have worked in in past years where the attacking team could place their own players in the wall.
It's Ah, it's a technique that that may have worked.
Um, but since that is no longer allowed it, uh, it's more difficult to get the wall to split when you want it to, as this ball flick through is a good turn initially and then ask our gross getting forward down that right hand side.
Strong challenge came in from classic match.
It is behind for a corner ****nal under a bit of pressure.
Now it's It's some decent play in midfield from Brighton.
That's that's led to this period of a little bit more pressure from the Siegels here in London.
Haskell grows to deliver the corner towards the center, and it is into the arms of Burn Leno.
Stevens got on the end of it.
He rose the highest.
No, excuse me. It wasn't Stevens.
The big centerback got on the end of it, but didn't get the power behind it.
T beat Leno when I saw it the whole way.
Caught it as well, preventing that rebound out in front.
The scraps, you know, as that's headed out for a throw.
They were looking for for pain, bringing down that down that right hand side.
And he, uh it was Louise looking long for him.
But burns jump and leap for that for that header.
Uh, kind of put off the Spanish right back.
Now Brighton looking to counter again.
Connolly's in space down this uptown side.
He's one on one with Louise.
Help arrives just in time through sad classic match.
And then Leno tried to keep it in.
It will be another Brighton corner.
This is a good break from Brighton.
The ball through the Connelly was good.
He Eventually Louise got the help that he needed on Leno, trying to keep it in slides well out of play, and it will be a Brighton corner.
Just as the clock strikes 25 minutes past grows to deliver another ball into the centre for Brighton.
Cross comes in, crowded in front of Leno, but ****nal do just about deal with it.
Gross lays it off.
The boy, keeping the pressure up more looking to deliver across, switches it to his right foot and does.
Will it fall formal pay? And it blazes past that far post.
Connolly was rushing in very nearly the opener for Brighton and Hove Albion.
Boy delivered the ball across.
It was flicked on bi tary era, and, as my Aunt Penny put it across the goalmouth, Connelly, it was just begging for a touch, and Connolly just mistimed his run Ever so slightly, Brighton have looked the more dangerous team, the last about six or seven minutes that ball through.
Not going to do it in Leno, able to restart play for ****nal ball for Brazil was looking for lock.
Is that luck? Is that tied up in a challenge there with uh, with Stevens in the center of the park? But it's a little bit of a Charley horse there.
It looks like Obama and get the ball in the right, lays it off to bear in.
They play it all the way back to Mustafi and then all the way back to burn Leno so Louise and then spread out.
So I say Mustafi! Sorry Socratic Freddie Insolent anyways, ****nal pouring forward.
Now they're desperate to regain control of this game.
Hertzel size it through for colossal notch.
There's old now for Giaka Herrera Herrera shaping to shoot here might come from Billig laid off Obama Yang and it trickles wide of the far post.
He went Sarah asking for a free kick.
Play continued, though, and I mean, it was a very advantageous position for ****nal.
Well, it played it off the lock is that who found out about being on the edge of the area and about it? He just gets the technique all wrong with it.
With his instep of his right foot from that position, you'd expect it to either go with his left or go for for power.
Um, with those leases with his right and in this case, he he kind of did the in between option, which, which was worse than than either of the the others Trickled would not threatening Ryan's goal.
It all and again ****nal not able to create a true kind of threat despite the attacking tools at their disposal, remind me at halftime to get a glass of water ball over the top.
Alexander Locke is that chasing Asante brings that one already control.
Brighton again playing out in the back and doing a good job of it.
I mean, we've seen we've seen ****nal have their share of mistakes in trying t play in that manner.
And now Brighton What? I mean, what a passing sequence it was the passing the end burns faster to Connelly was well over hit Herrera's Tyra's initial complaints.
He's calling for a foul, but he actually just kicks the ground.
Um, so I can't really be on it Chance so that the pressure from Assad was not a foul.
He puts an arm out, but he doesn't shove him or anything.
It's, uh, it's very soft, and really Terrero just just kicks the ground.
And, um, you know, it's the, uh it's the classic when you're out with your buddies and playing some golf and you blame the turf for ah, catching your your sling when your club had digs in and it's not your technique, it was it was purely the turfs fault is bright and getting forward down the left again boy left footed cross towards Connolly at the edge of the area tried to bring you down under pressure, but could not.
And again, ****nal.
Lot of lot of Ah, a lot of blame going around it are stolen every every opportunity or miskick Brighton again in possession, in the other match going on Castle still lead chef of the united at home, which is surprising.
But Newcastle have looked good of lately.
Obviously held Manchester City, the champions.
Uh, you Castle, Maybe maybe growing into their new signings.
Alan, some mock mock ***** scored the goal for Newcastle and he looks like such an exciting player.
Monaco use products.
I think he's a P s G use product.
Actually, remind me to look that up, But anyways, he's at Newcastle now and he's He's an extremely exciting player boy carrying on despite the foul but still in possession.
And no, you're not like Miss curing me or anything is Terra commits a foul here and then kept kept playing, um, kicking the ball last.
Terry was under, uh, under a Brighton player.
So now brighten her will take their time.
They tried to take the free kick quickly.
Herrera, Stop that from happening.
No booking forthcoming for for for Herrera.
But right now we'll take their time with this free kick and it's about 40 yards out.
Look to deliver.
Long diagonal ball upto One of the big men burn standing just outside the area.
Stevens dunk will be interested.
It's come across the Stevens.
Is it off? Cross does come in from the right hand side, but it's way over.
Hit and it'll go behind for ****nal.
Granddaughter Taking some notes down.
Be interesting to see.
I'm sure he'll be thrilled with how the match is gone so far.
****nal playing out from the back and eventually Leno just beats it.
Long does not say wins that initial header, but played back into the path of colossal.
Not for ****nal and, er.
So finds Lock is that who's drifted wide out to the left, but his link up with Joe Will IQ goes sour and then lock is that fouls Brighton on the counter, and that could be interesting to see if there's perhaps a card forthcoming.
No, Brighton, take the freak it quickly and a good save there from all pay Bye Burn Leno My pay with a good left, a shot from just outside the area.
You did well to get on with it after the foul by lock.
Is that in my pay? Directed the shot Well enforced.
A very good save out of burning Leno down to his left.
Leno perhaps deserves better than than what he's gotten this year in terms of goals conceded because he's made more saves on any keeper in the Premier League.
Shocking statistic from a team like carcinoma brightened.
Going forward again and you can see why he's needed to, as he met Estimate forced to make another save there.
This time it was, Ah, Davy Propper from the edge of the area, trying Thio trying to score shots from distance from Brighton.
But they are. They are testing Leno now.
Maybe perhaps just tryingto get a sheer volume of shots to the point of saturation.
But ****nal, dangerous going forward, would like tries to play the ball across the Obama Yang Burn will get their first though, and now Brighton play it a ball first time over the top, commonly to chase and Louise forced to put it out into touch.
Louise is visibly frustrated as he was the only defender tracking back and tracking that run from Connelly Brighton.
Despite some shaky moments in the early stages, they have looked extremely sharp.
Um, for the last about 20 minutes, they've been the better team and that's that shocking to say.
Still, to me about about an ****nal team at the Emirates is this.
Ball comes in towards Connelly.
Gross nearly found him.
It's cut out by ****nal, though, and eventually Ursula forced to booted into touch ****nal under all types of pressure here.
And it is they there.
There's all kinds of, as I said, blame going around and shouting at each other.
Brighton, though, look determined and look capable of leaving with three points.
If something doesn't change.
I think it's safe to say that despite the obvious talent on display for ****nal, they have loads of quality.
I think it's obvious that Yung Berg's got his work cut out for him and and indeed any manager that comes into that job.
Gross now tried to play across in towards Connelly, cut out Stevens, though, as the area Boyd shot blocked, deflected behind.
It will be a Brighton corner mile pay.
Just ducked beneath that Thio allow the ball to go out for the corner ****nals, faithful in the stands, not enjoying what they're seeing so far as bright and have another corner.
Pascal Gross delivery comes in towards burn, not a down Connolly.
It's Bobster from the penalty spot.
Well finished by Webster.
And it's it's another moment of shocking defending from ****nal.
From this that piece and with 10 minutes to go toe halftime, Brighton take.
I can't believe I'm about to say this, but a deserved lead at the entrance.
Connolly nearly got on the end of it, Louise, with some desperate defending to keep him from putting it in.
It felt a Webster.
He made absolutely no mistake with his right foot while falling down.
Brighton lead ****nal at the Emirates.
A lot of luck in the finish as he fall fell over as he took it.
But you can see what it means to the Brighton players and I think on balance of what's happened in the first half it it's still shocking, but it's it's deserved.
They've they've been, the better, the better side and it's it's It's been shocking at times from ****nal, Um, and and the defending on that is no different, um, as Brighton getting the ball back under control.
But Joe will IQ winning the ball off burn trying.
Trying to find Locke is that lock is that stumbled as he tried to take that and then as bright and try to break, Um, it was Mel pay coming back from an offside position and, uh, right not able to pursue that particular exact for anyone.
Just joining Brighton lead ****nal in London.
And now, while a foul given for a for simulation, maybe Brighton has been given a free kick.
It looked like a case of of ****nal, you know, winning a free kick deep in their territory.
But Jack is actually the fouls gone against ****nal and and now Brighton have another set piece and another chance to deliver the ball into the box.
We all know who's over it. It's gross.
Curling cross comes in, but burn Leno.
Yeah, I mean, it's far too close to him and burn Leno of much too high of a quality of keeper toe to allow that to to beat him.
Giaka, looking for the long ball over the top of Emmy and will bring this down Great touch across.
Tried to find Locke.
Is that cut out well by Louis Dunk Well, Young Bird will be on the sidelines demanding a response before halftime.
Players will be desperate.
Thio reduce the arrears, but Bay Arena slipped.
Moyes charging down this left hand side goes infield.
Pascal gross! Across Davy Propper rolls it through looking for Connolly, but the ball is just over hit.
Connally knew that that was an opportunity.
****nals frailties, just showing themselves bearing.
Remember books as well.
So a couple of ****nal defenders playing now.
Ah, having to be careful, we'll just say And but ****nal back in possession here.
Herrera Herrera's rule has been interesting tonight, actually.
In fact, ****nal shape and attack has been, has been interesting is that Ball finds its way out to Obama.
Yang, one on one with burn Good skill comes into the centre.
Want to save Matt Ryan? Joe Will IQ must have thought he'd scored.
What a save Matt Ryan To keep Brighton in the lead up a meeting with a great step over the cross was delicious and will IQ his header.
He did everything right.
He got the header low.
It's out for an ****nal corner.
Ercel delivers this in headed away by Brighton Herrera trying to keep control of it and does keep it in ****nal. Possession.
Bayer in Is it to Shaka? Shocker with a couple of moves to get past Connelly? Is it across to Tara? It's a rare with long diagonal ball over the top Joe.
We're like trying to keep this one in.
Does Cross would come in from the left hand side headed? Get a dunk again? ****nal applying the pressure here later on in the first half.
You know he loves a shot from distance, but he thought better.
That finds Obama Yang Obama Yang shut shaping for the cross with his left headed away again by Brighton.
My pay chasing this one, but, alas, it matches the one who brings it under control class in ash, charging into the area and then well done by Webster to get that one clear ****nals response.
Since going behind has been good, it's the best.
It's the best football.
They played a hug all day, and I'm sure Young Bird will be asking Why? Why, Why? Why weren't you playing like this before? You conceded.
But you can see the sense of urgency amongst the ****nal player, so they are certainly trying to fight back into this one.
So much frustration and crept into the team just prior to Brighton taking the lead.
And, ah, it just showed in anxiousness almost in every facet of play.
****nal playing a little bit less nervous now, although that pass in the midfield, not the best boys pass deflected in the path of Connelly and that pass across four Mao Pai, he's cut out by ****nal.
In the end, it was a bad giveaway in midfield.
Just as I was praising ****nal, Connelly's play across Connolly was pay was upset about the cross, the ball that was laid across by Connolly.
It will be a Brighton corner and obviously they'll be looking to try to capitalize on another set piece situation.
I'm not sure what potters and get as many corners as possible.
That's his notes, his notes just read four set pieces.
Cross comes in again, headed away, this time by a combination of collapse snatch and avid Louise errand Boy sees it out for Brighton throw, though that was a chance just now on the counter on the break for for Brighton.
If Connolly finds not pay, it's just it's just a matter of beating the Keeper.
At that point, you would have been clean for you, writing back in possession ****nal again, pressing with urgency and lock.
Is that leading the line, triggering that press? And you can see ****nals front for moving into picture and pressing impacts.
Now it's it's what they should have been doing from from the first whistle.
They've really started to do it in earnest since going behind, and Davy Propper commits a foul there in that field as a as a result of the pressure from Joe.
Will it so, really, the conversation or the inquests has to be, you know, where where was the aggressiveness from ****nal from the get go? Because that would have been preferable to the somewhat anemic start debate that they did end up having in this first half and out chasing Brighton at home.
But Obama and getting four down.
The right cross comes in chested down to rare afflicts it through lockers that goes down in the area.
Was he brought down? No, says the referee lock.
Is that struggling to his feet.
Meanwhile, now paid.
Breaking down the other end for Brighton.
Obviously, the air.
We'll have a look at it.
Stevens, now on the ball and brighten just slowing things down.
Imagine there would be much at a time.
Is luck is that does well, coming back and winning that ball.
Joe will IQ in possession.
He's got all three Ford options ahead of them.
Rules it through for Obama Yang at exactly the wrong moment.
And Obama Yang had stopped making the run.
Will it played it the second that he stopped.
And, ah, that more or less sums up ****nals attacking place so far.
Well, **** Yang not pleased with the service from Will Lick, and we'll take another look.
It's a question mark of Terrero may be handling the ball as he brought it down, and then there is some slight contact in the box there.
I don't think you would see that given and now Colossal notch.
So crosses fouls Connolly down in the corner while they were still showing the replay.
Connolly chasing a long ball and then Ah, across this Actually, yeah, he he slid.
He tried to pull out of the challenge and he was booked for his troubles.
So second ****nal defender to go in the book, Hector bearing the first, and Davy Propper will have essentially a corner here because it was right down near the corner flag, uh, where the foul was committed.
So seeing Pascal Gross essentially have a corner kick to deliver as he does headed away.
And that will be that.
Halftime one. Nothing.
Brighton and Hove Albion lead ****nal in the Emirates Brighton given the lead on a corner, Webster scoring in the 36 minute and ah, so Cross is pleading with the referee, uh, about his yellow card.
Maybe he's on ac***ulation, I'm not sure.
Or maybe he's certain he'll get another u um, but in this case, Brighton good value for their lead.
As crazy as that may sound, ****nal have been threatening in in bits and spurts, but they have not consistently applied pressure to Brighton, and, uh, I'm sure Youngberg will have some choice words for his team at halftime once again the defense letting down ****nal.
And it's a set piece that pays off for Brighton.
Um, Brighton have now scored 10 goals from set pieces and none from open play.
Um, I guess you could count that as no, it's it's from a set piece.
Anyways, it is one nothing.
Brighton we'd ****nal at the Emirates.
I hope you've enjoyed the coverage so far on my first ever SportsCastr.
Uh, stream and I will be back for the second half in about 15 minutes, and I'm going to grab a glass of water and grab a refreshment, grab something and join me for the second half.
It is sure to be an absolute cracker.
Well, the team's air coming back out.
And, uh, it looks like ****nal are readying a halftime change.
Nikola Pepe has come on.
Um not sure who he is.
Oh, Joe Bullock has actually been withdrawn.
It's an interesting move, because looking at the stats at halftime, Joe will It has actually been the best attacking player for a personal Um but I think it probably constitutes a slight change of shape with Ursula moving to the 10 and, uh, Pepe, obviously moving out into a wider attacking position.
But it'll be interesting to see if the Frenchman can make an impact.
Um since his impact has not been greatly felt since joining ****nal in the summer from Lille.
But ****nal, starting starting decently here, flicked around the corner of EMI Antique.
Alaskan actually was looking for rehearsal.
Brighton able the deals that, though well, he's just nudges Mount pay off the ball and then some suggestions that so Cross has held Connolly there to keep him from winning it.
But nothing given by the referee.
And then Herrera's past cut out by Devi proper.
And these opening minutes as ah the game and Sheffield is going to end as a Newcastle win.
Um Newcastle building off of the momentum of last week of holding the champions at home.
They go to Sheffield and win in a difficult place.
I mean, plenty of teams have seen how tough it is to go to Sheffield and get the three points.
Um, especially with Sheffield saying in like fifth place right now.
Um, but Jonjo Shelvey grabbed the second after Ah, some moxie! Mom, grab the first in a nice little interplay there by ****nal, Nearly leads in the cool of the day, having a chance.
It will be an ****nal corner, though put behind by Brighton and Ursa will look to take this one.
We're singles players taking their time, getting getting forward.
There's a way into the area headed away by burn.
Then Connolly, nudged off the ball by Pepe.
Fairly, says the referee cuts back.
You know, Comfort's rare on the edge of the area.
Cut out Herrera going down.
Brighton players complaining that Connolly should shoulder to shoulder challenge from Hep A And then, yeah, I'll pay as he came as he came to clear it in basically career.
Just kicked his ankle.
Um, but nothing given on that, said the referee.
It was a, uh it was a throw for ****nal.
And then Brighton cut out their little interchange down this left hand side.
But ****nal win the ball back.
That me and the lock is that, like, is that thought he was fouled? Class a notch wins the ball back.
Thing's getting pretty crowded over there on that ****nal left, or someone just look to slow it down.
Hey, who's on this right wing? One on one with burn that becomes it back for ER's ill muscles off the ball by a combination of Stevens and Moye Moye.
Able t to find more pay.
We'll pay You're a lot of attention from Giaka eventually wins the winds to throw for Brighton.
Well, Pepe versus Burn is essentially the matchup that Youngberg is is hoping to exploit.
It would've here, Um, we'll see.
We'll see if he can make it count.
I mean, he's he's looked T Cook burned down that ****nal right a couple of times, so we'll see if he gets it done.
Is Freddie Young Bird just takes a little bit of a spill trying Thio Field.
That ball is it went out of play He's used to wearing cleats.
Might be a not top 10 kind of moment, but ****nal getting on with it again down this right hand side with Pepe slides.
It's true for bellerin on the over overlap it's put behind by Bern will be another corner.
Pepe, making an impact there down that right hand side right, may have to find a way to get burned.
Some help down that flank ****nal had a pretty narrow shape, especially on the left with earns a lot on the flank Now, Ursula Bloggers.
Another corner flicked on by a luck.
Is that to the far post and it's in.
It's bungled in ****nal are level Alexander Locke that will get credit for the goal? Herrera made sure it got across the line.
We'll see who gets the goal.
Eventually, everyone is saying that they did not get a touch.
Jocko was in the in the neighborhood as well.
It's a goal for Alexandre.
Lacazette finally gets this near post flick Giaka questions of offside.
It'll get looked at Jack.
It doesn't actually make contact with the ball and don't think.
But he may have been in an offside position, and he certainly influences the play.
Well, it'll be interesting because it will definitely get looked at.
There's a question mark as well.
If I think there's a question if the jacket committed a foul, I think that would be extremely soft.
If it was given that was given again. Shocker.
I think, Uh, I think the question mark is is did he just lean offside? No, I guess not.
It's not getting checked, so brightened.
Go straight down the other end, but it's a little disjointed from Brighton and Leno ableto catch, so ****nal are level.
It's not the prettiest girl that Alexander Locke is that Wagner score, but it is his fifth goal of the season and are still aren't back level and now have a chance.
So write, write.
What they surely see is a is a score line that they should, uh, one especially a fixture that they should be getting.
The three points out of right now on the ball looked long down the right.
Down there, left hand side bearing cuts that out Central for Herrera or someone with a little bit again.
Just maintaining that renewed sense to be smelling a little blood in the water is, Ah, a little bit of a shove there from Jack as he ran into the area and brighten breaking on the counter.
Dangerous one on one.
So crosses on a yellow.
Remember in Connally's left footed shot as well, wide.
He had boy in support to his left and maybe could have taken a different option there, but he was desperate to get the shot away.
It is deflected, actually behind right that'll be a Brighton corner, I believe.
Good ball from O pe Connolly.
Little bit of trouble getting it out on his feet.
But it does look like it takes a deflection off of so crosses before it heads behind.
So brighten with another chance and you can see.
I mean, there are still those still those vulnerabilities from ****nal, although they have looked better, much better in attacking sense.
Um, since going behind, we'll be in from Pascal Gross flicked into the arms of Burn Leno.
Liberals out for bear in.
So Crassus, trying to offer burying an option, finds Ercel, who's drifted out to the right.
That right flank is a long ball across for class, A magical ass.
A match escaping proper, not severa out.
The lock is that clock.
So much continued.
His run for the lock is that tried to offer an option, but not found.
And now Dad Louise will try to switch the focal point of the attack out wide to bury.
And he does find him, Nicola Teppei running it burn.
This is the matchup they looked to exploit and have done so decent effects so far that they earned the corner that got ****nal the equalizer.
The arena attempts toe flick the ball around the corner to himself does well to win it back crosses to the far post.
Obama Yang was there.
Bayer in gets thumbs up from everybody in the ****nal team off them Young just caught a little flat footed here.
Maybe I know the cross was behind him.
The cross was behind him.
In the end, it's funny.
Reacted almost too quickly, and it was a flick from a bright head Webster in central defense that I put it behind.
But Freddie Youngberg urging his team forward, Do you seem to have a renewed sense of belief in a renewed sense that they can get? Get the three points here? It was a period of the first half that didn't look like ****nal, particularly wanted Toa be playing the game.
But now they look the more likely of the two sides to grab a second tell two halves and other football cliches.
55 minutes gone.
It is 11 Webster's opener for Brighton cancelled out by lockers.
That's header two goals from set pieces and now luck is that with the tackle winds it back high of the field, and as Obama Yang slid in the center, he couldn't turn home.
Collapsed matches cross some shots from Brighton for a foul.
The initial challenge from lockers that was certainly sturdy did appear to win the ball, though.
I'm not going to replay that.
It flashed just in front of the boot of Pierre. America.
Who slaps the ground in frustration? A couple of chances for the Gabonese forward.
You're in the second half, one ball forward from Brighton Judge to have come off a burn instead of Pappa.
And it will be, Ah, it will be an ****nal throw Active very in will lead off the ball there and, uh, eventually David Proper.
Place it back to Matt.
Ryan will go along that Ryan with a remarkable save in the first half from Joe Will Aku, who has been obviously substituted too rare there.
Ruff Ruff challenge and then actually comes out second best.
I think, uh, he's taking a cleat to the unmentionables in executing what was not a good tackle.
Um, yeah, he's just is ah, it's not gonna feel good.
We'll just have to say that Suffice it to say he's down receiving treatment.
Still 11 Terror being helped to his feet.
He's, uh, walk that off.
It was not a good challenge, but take another look of the goal, flicked on by lockers at Just Evaded everybody.
Well, I hope, if you could have slender that we see a.
A more suave celebration from Alexander Locke is that we used to see in the swag as this ball comes in to the far post, headed on by Webster, who grabbed the first.
But the headers far two week Thio be burn Leno from that distance burn little catches easily.
They immediately go long ball played through jackal looking for Herrera, who again just falls over very easily.
Um, you just come on after nursing his jewels.
Now Brighton able to go the other way with it, just just taking off the all too easily for the type of player that you kind of expect and now brightened getting foreign boy of them left hand side, shaping the shoot blocked well behind by Pepe.
And yes, Pepe was tracking back into ****nals box.
And, uh, as the clock strikes 59 you're in the second half it will be a Brighton corner and yeah, I mean, you can see that he's he's been there's a bit of a shove and he's made a meal of it.
Referee not buying it.
And, ah, at the other end.
Now Brighton with the corner set pieces or where they've made their money go short time boy, boy, left foot across low cleared.
And then it's gonna be a deliberate handball there, I think, uh, yellow card issued as Brighton looking to stop Ercel on the brake.
Yeah, Pascoe promise holds out his hand.
I mean, I'm not sure whether he's trying to handle it or not, but it's certainly a yellow card.
Um and, uh, and he is shown brightens first booking of the game.
Pascal Gross, who delivered the corner, which eventually led to Webster's opener as pressure on ****nal's defense now, as they try to play out from the back, it's worked pretty well, though Terrero escapes the attention of to brighten players, rules that through Alabama, Yang of Emmy and has to slow down to control the ball couldn't continue the momentum of the attack and then his switch looking for Nicola Pepe is cut out by Moy.
Now Pascal girls can head the other way and two and stuff years.
We crossed the hour mark right and slowing things down a little bit themselves about paying out on the edge of the area.
Lt's at say, more coming in about paying in front of goal somehow can't direct it home and a corner has been given.
Corner's been given.
Leno is incensed that the corner forgiven.
It did initially look like it came for me off of my pay last, I know, but Leno does make a vital intervention.
It's a bang bang play turns making that call but bright. And you were in a corner.
Okay, we'll be wanting that one back a little bit.
Let's go Gross to the far post dunk rising with Leno.
I think it was a judge to be.
I'm not sure if it's a goal kicker of foul, but ah Leno And down under that leap from dunk, don't grant away protesting.
So I think a foul potentially would have been given in that case, even if dunk had reached it now longball over the top for Nicola Pep, eh? burn has clipped his heels.
I don't know that there was a lot of intent behind it, But I think he has caught that day.
Yeah, yeah, it's unfortunate.
That's very unfortunate.
He's looking for the ball.
He just steps on his foot.
It's a foul 100% but yeah, there's no malice in that.
No mouse from burn.
But unfortunately, it doesn't matter and it gives ****nal of free kick.
They take it quickly.
L ran across two colossal match and I think I'm not sure what.
Maybe Alcide Oh, they tried to take the free kick quickly.
I think v a r was potentially checking.
Maybe checking that as as a potential red card incident.
Obviously it wouldn't have been, but they did not let them take the freak it quickly.
It'll come in now.
Daven Louise has put it in the back of the net.
But he looked well. Offside.
Louise has given ****nal of lead.
It will certainly be checked.
Well, he either time has run to perfection or he's miles off.
He was all alone in front in front of the goal.
I think the linesmen actually yet he's clearly off it.
It'll it'll be chopped off.
The entire ****nal team is offside, and it just wasn't Wow, The linesman didn't raise his flag, which I know they're told.
Wait now, because they are will get it.
But that was he's well off these miles off.
So yeah, this one will be dried back.
It'll still be 11 I mean, the fact they need Thio go to V A r to check.
This is a bit embarrassing for the referee and crew.
Quite honestly, it's the quickest outside decision you'll ever see.
They didn't even need to draw the lines.
It looked offside.
Even from where I'm sitting, Devon, Louise doesn't get into those type of wide open positions quite often.
Um, not exactly the Pacey ists player on the pitch, but 11 shocking decision from the lensman.
That it needed a video review to spot that, um, stood right on the line.
Still couldn't Anyways, it is 11 ****nal thought momentarily.
I don't think **** it.
Louise even thought that gold would be given this devil Louise now Mrs Ahead at the other end and then flies into a challenge with Connolly does win the ball fairly, though.
Let's not say now in possession for Brighton, though, I'll pay.
I can't get on the end of that ball through and Louise forced to put this into touches. He's under pressure.
Live a sarcastic clap.
Okay, we'll take the throat for Britain.
Hey, looks like a tough guy to play with.
Um, yes, an opinion on every single action by anyone on the field.
And goes over so easily.
Yeah, Sue, I know that.
I know that ****nal fans love Lucas Terra.
Um, but some Some of the decisions he makes are shocking.
He's just a very like he's very Uruguay in and that he's always trying to win an advantage for his team, which, you know, that's that's football.
You you try toe, take advantage of what you can, but he tries to do it in such a way.
That's very I don't know, I guess a Uruguay and reputation to seeds and, um brightened getting back for the other way After that freaking it was given, uh, but now brightened back in possession and being patient, obviously, given the fact that their ah still level, but now ****nal win the ball back.
Pepe rolls a good ball through Pierre America.
Obama Yang Well watched bios Otto behind for ****nal corner That was a great break from ****nal and Nicola Pepe again showing out.
Agency can be the ball through to obey me ing nearly perfect off them. Yang.
He almost has to hit it.
First time the angles closed down so quickly by Brighton.
****nal corner in towards David Louise.
Clear about Pompeii.
Connelly tries to bring that under control.
Pepe wins it back.
Peppy on the edge.
The ****nale area drives a shot in blocks well by burn now.
Brighton breaking again.
He's surrounded by ****nal shirts.
Was he fouled? Thereby Louise.
It's a poor decision by David Louise.
There's no reason to bring Connolly down.
He's running down a blind alley.
He's looking for a free kick.
He shoves him in the back, and since it's on the counter, Dad Louise earns himself a yellow card as well.
It's he had other defenders covering that.
There's no reason that he had to go through the back of Connolly in that situation.
Brightened free kick.
I mean, it's well up out of the box.
They can potentially float something into the area here and brightens.
Players are lined up on the edge of the box.
Look to deliver something We're into the 69th minute, floated to the far post, headed on.
But again, Webster couldn't get power on the header.
And it's straight.
It was essentially a carbon copy of the last, the last head around Bull that Webster produced.
Never going to be let go the ball and is decent, but he's got a head.
He can't generate the power off of it.
He's gonna put it back down into the box if he wants to create able from that sort of situation.
Doing a good, decent job since, ah, since Pepe was introduced of kind of handling that threat lock is that dunk.
Asking for offside puts it into the box for Brazil.
Purcell fires wide.
He's asking, saying there was a deflection and again, yeah, like is that was offside, um, in the building.
But again, the linesman, not not giving anything, Even if there's a let scored it, it would have been it would have been shocked back chalked off.
Excuse me, Matt Ryan taking the gold, Kate.
The ensuing goal kick.
And it'll be here in Tierney.
Believe is being readied.
Bye, Freddy. Younger toe.
Come on for ****nal.
I mean, it's not from the fact that multiple defenders air on yellow cards, but I think Colossus matches is one is the one that isn't and Tierney's the left back, but maybe they bring him on as a left sided attacker.
I'm not sure Frightened, though.
At the other end my pay escaping colossal Nationals at a finding Webster 70.
70 minutes played now still 11 ball deflected by Terrero and, uh, ****nal Look to break Herrera Lock is that chest it down for ER's ill but well, watched by Webster.
It's a rare went diving into a challenge and absolutely airmailed.
Um, he's lucky he did, cause if it any sort of contact on that would have been made.
There's been there have been questions off potential red at the force that he flew in, but just kind of did it because I guess I'm not really sure.
Um, we were near nowhere near proper for the best for all parties involved, or someone of Acto Louise out wide for class a notch screen forward else.
That's a poor challenge.
Be a booking for ALS out.
The ball is gone.
Yeah, I guess he tries to pull out of it, but he definitely goes straight through the ankle of Colossal Match, waiting for confirmation of the booking.
Must've reviewing it as a potential red card incident.
I guess maybe Yeah.
I mean, he he goes in, but he no studs showing just his knee is down.
Yeah, it's colossal notch for Tierney.
It's ah light for, like switches.
A strange change.
Also, Arcel also ****nal fans come get your boy.
With the shirt tucked in going full FIFA region, Hertzel delivers a free kick.
He looked for Pepe out on that right hand side, headed away by burn ****nal being made to work by Brighton for this, uh, elusive second goal.
And now right and trying to get forward.
Boys, play the ball forward for Connolly.
But ask way too much of the young forward Too rare now on the ball for ****nal.
Well, finds its way back to Dad Louise looking long for Pepe over the top.
Wise to it, though, comes out well and claims it easily throws long across to Al Zaatar, which I don't think I was not.
It was booked for, uh, for that for that challenge.
Never got confirmation that he actually received a ah yellow card.
It looked like a yellow card in real time.
So maybe the referees just shown some restraint.
Here is Santa has a ball played off him for an ****nal thrown out granite Giaka to tyranny.
Daven Louise, too.
So Crassus, looking for the long balls, out of out of defense, and he was looking forward for Obama.
Yang, cut out by brighten up a founds more finds my boy a lot of more and more.
My pay boy rolled back through Davy Propper, looking for boy played off David Louise, and it'll be another Brighton corner just over 15 minutes left to play.
Still 11 of the Emirates Brighton with their ninth corner of the game, one of which led to the opening goal of this of this match up and it looks like Brighton are readying their first, their first substitution of the match.
Also not a looks set to come off, and Montoya, who I think is, you know, we are more accustomed to seeing in that right.
That spot comes in a light for like switch.
And now no, wait, is it a double? Isn't a double change because Connolly has come off this well.
Montoya on for Connelly.
A holes are still still in the game.
Cross comes in, headed down, burned a couple of bites of the cherry, but it's cleared by ****nal in Montoya.
First clear it, so it's a definitely defense of substitution if all zat am and Montoya remained on the field, which they do now, pay up front by himself.
But don't stop writing from trying to get forward.
All zat say, down this right hand side, released by proper drags it back.
What can also to do from here, looking for a cross? Any becomes too clever by half and please it off himself for an ****nal goal kick.
Gabrielle Martinelli Coming on for Alexander Locke is that the youth products has ah impressed in the League Cup.
For sure Lock is that it fortunate to score ****nals lone goal, but we know that I was under lock is that is very adept at finding himself in the right place at the right time.
Martinelli immediately involved in a coming together with Webster.
It's not much fit.
Some from you just jump.
They both jump for the header.
They called the foul against Martinelli.
But Martinelli has impressed in the Cup competitions Europa League and Ah and care about cups so far.
UM, he's on now in the Premier League to try Thio, help ****nal win this win this match as ah, bright and trying to get forward down the right and Moya is offside.
Are the throw goes ****nals way? Excuse me, the way the assistant raised his flight.
It looks like outside decision, but just a throw.
Brighton win the throw immediately.
They'll eventually find the feet of Webster. The goal score.
Matt Ryan's long ball in the vicinity of all Zat say it's taking up a more advanced role.
Now that Montoya is coming on to come onto the field, Clinton is more winger now than a than a right back.
****nal, playing out from the back, finds a way back to Leno and then to Devon ****ies.
Louise looking forward, headed down by Montoya, though he's looking for Martinelli.
Down that left hand side.
And now Brighton getting forward.
Mope a tomboy back to mom.
Pay near the penalty spot.
My pain with the left footed shot blocked.
Well, it find its way back to my pay.
But Brighton will hold on the possession offside given against Ah, all them in Yang has he tried to come back of Emmy and wearing the captain's arm man for ****nal.
Still after that decision by memory to, Ah, strip granite, Jack of the Captaincy.
And now another change Buy Brighton show.
Starred comes on for Pascal Gross.
Esko Gross put a shift in the just shy of 80 minutes.
Broussard offering a bit of fresh legs in attack Brighton.
Certainly not shying away from this one.
They they think they can go on and win it.
Boy Cross comes in heading on by my pain.
Oh, my o PE is given Brighton.
The lead with 10 minutes to play in the Emirates stunned the Emirates faithful neo Ma okay with the flicks header.
The involvement from sure Starr was immediate.
The cross from Boy was good and the header from our pay was pinpoint.
Brighton and Hove Albion and lead optional in the Emirates.
The goal comes in the 80th minute.
Louise just caught out.
He was the right side of Mount A No issues there.
But my pay as he headed it on, he flicked it across, actually came from behind him.
He did well to adjust his body and grabs his fifth goal of the season.
You know Mom Hey, who joined Brighton from Redford for £24 million proving worth every penny at the Emirates tonight.
The two changes from Graham Potter have have made an impact in this game.
Montoya freeing L Zazi to be a little more attacking.
But trust SARD immediately linking up with Errand Boy to create that goal is now that that will be a foul on Ah Davy Propper.
As ****nal looked to break like you to avoid a yellow card there David proper.
I thought he was taking one for the team.
Well, ****nals woes get worse and worse unless they can find a way to really turn things around here in the final 10 minutes, they certainly will try Pepe from distance straight into the hands.
Well, Brighton will certainly take their time now, but I said just before the goal that Brighton were confident of getting a result and confident of winning.
The substitution showed that it was Noah.
Defensive minded subs or anything that would suggest they can't get a result will pay, trying to make things worse for them.
Now lose it off.
Trucks are getting past Louise.
Trust aren't looking for all Santa, who had moved to the penalty spot.
But Brighton here, looking to make things even worse for ****nal.
Eventually, the ball trickles back under the control of burn Leno ****nal fans clearly displeased with state of things and Emery is out.
But the troubles have not left ****nal.
This is a job that will take some doing is now Brighton.
Look to get forward, but then a foul given against Apple Louise for a full of the shirt.
Excuse me given against Brighton on David Louise for a foul on Deva Booze.
****nal with Herrera.
I mean, I have to think is well that at some point as burying getting forward here really great run burned diving in cross came in clot and smothered in the end by, uh by Matt Ryan, looking looking at the bench for National it is it's a difficult situation for them because, I mean, Pepe and Martinelli are really the two Attackers available.
I mean, they have Reese Nelson on the bench, but certainly an unproven talent and more of a roll of the dice.
But bringing on Tierney just seems so strange.
I'm not really sure what the what the thought was.
Their colossal match was actually pretty effective going forward, but, um, just five minutes for ****nal to try to sal***e something from this match.
So I have to refresh my stream.
Why, why you do this? Oh, no.
Hope I didn't miss anything.
Its journey in possession.
It's your need Could make a fool out of me with the header flaked on.
What a save by Ryan again.
The header came in, and there's two Brighton players down as well.
It looks like a clash of heads.
Martinelli, nearly sparing the blush, is we get across to his left.
It's a good header from Martinelli, and it's just a brilliant safe looks like there was perhaps a collision of the two Brighton players, yet unfortunate, both reaching for the ball and just ah, just a clash of heads there in the center.
Martinelli must have thought similar to Joe Will Lick in in the first half.
Must have thought you've done enough to score.
Is Louis dunk and, uh, and Webster undergo the concussion? Protocol's slight, uh, slight cut above Webster's left eye.
Just might have to be.
I just might have to be dealt with.
Um, it is behind for a corner after the saved by Ryan and brightened making their third and final change.
It certainly will be a defensive change, and they're bringing on the big boys now.
All Santa will come off.
We thought he was coming off in the earlier stages of the second half, but Shane Duffy will come on.
They make the change just before a corner, but they're certainly getting a bit more height into the proceedings.
By bringing Duffy on.
Cross comes into the center well cleared by burn.
Happy went down and the free kick was given That this is heavy will grab the ball.
But this is ah this is a dive.
Um, I hate to say it, but there's nothing in that.
I'm not sure how the referees given a file.
It should be a yellow card for simulation.
That's a That's a shock.
That's a shocking dive.
Um, suffice it to say, But, um, we know that.
What? Nicole, if it can do from free kicks and this will certainly be a dangerous situation.
Michael Oppa Bay rescuing game against Victoria with two brilliant free kicks laid on.
You knew exactly what he was doing diving to win the free kick here because he definitely backs himself from this type of position.
He'll look to that far corner that Ryan must know, but not Ryan cheating to that far corner and hoping the wall covers.
The rest goes to the far corner it's behind.
Did it get a touch on the way through? That's the plea from Pepe, and it will be an ****nal corner.
Just took a flick off A Brighton player on the way through personal delivers the corner and headed away.
But at the near post, my boy, there's a little re collect.
But he was offside.
Four added minutes for Brighton to potentially see out would be a famous and vital victory for them as they try to climb out of the relegation places.
The crazy thing is that with a win, Brighton would move to just a point behind ****nal.
If this is a crazy season, ****nal on just 19 points, Brighton, currently on 15 and with a win, would move to 18 and brighten her in 16th.
Insane ****nal regained possession.
O'Banion was chasing Martinelli, pressing as well.
Eventually, the ball's played off reversal by Martin Montoya and Brighten earns the throw.
We've already played a minute of the at a time.
What goes all the way back to Leno won both forward and it away Brighton but into the path of David Louise out looking for Tierney.
He tries to slide a ball through for Martinelli to chase.
Martinelli slides in on Montoya.
Ball was played off.
Martin Elliot believe no.
The throw goes ****nals way.
Sure, it's a rehearsal.
Still time for for ****nal toe to sal***e something here, Burian wide for Obama.
Yang floats across into the center, just about dealt with by Martin Montoya and then Davy Propper gets it fully cleared.
But not fully fully cleared as the cross comes back in from Tierney just it down, Terreri goes for the volley and then fold it over on the edge of the area.
Does not get the treatment that Pepe did, and it's told to get up.
Brighton now breaking the other way and the outside flag.
No, uh, that was a very strange sequence of Brighton because they had a chance to break, and I think everybody is suited that something was going to be given.
And it wasn't but anyways, ****nal back in possession a loose touch from Granite Jack in midfield.
Trio start is one on one with David.
Louise sends him the wrong way.
Crosses on the cover and trust start blazes over well, nearly the dagger for Brighton and Hove Albion.
With just a minute of added time left to play, he did everything right to work the shot and then just got a little bit underneath it.
Shorts are nearly with the icing on the cake for Brighton, but they have about 40 seconds to still see out here as ****nal are pouring forward now message.
There is no anything.
Anyone can create something, it's him tyranny.
Cross goes to the far post.
It looks like Ryan will catch this comfortably and fall to the ground and smother it.
Sly wink going to his defenders.
And that may just about do it.
This will be ****nals.
First time going winless in nine straight matches since 1977 a stunning record.
We're across the 94 minute mark, and that is full time Brighton, with a famous victory at the Emirates and just a shocking run of form for ****nal continues.
They stay tent on 19 Brighton jump to 13 on 18 and the craziness in that mid the bottom table is just insane about pay plays the hero.
Today, Webster open the scoring for Brighton to give them the lead in the first half.
Lockers that saved ****nals blush is slightly with a good header.
In the beginning of the second half, Brighton thought, or ****nal thought they had, they had taken the lead as our Earth will.
Now, with some choice words towards the bench, you can tell the mood around the Emirates is not happy among the playing, coaching managerial staffs or indeed amongst the fans as the stands empty out quite quickly.
But the, um, luck is that our that Louise thought he had given ****nal the lead again, but the goal was rightly chalked off by V a r.
After a clear offside was not given during the run of play.
And then Neil my pay, who is now over applauding the Brighton travelling support New multi scored the winner.
It was a great cross from Errand Boy.
No, my pay with the flu.
Tedder to give Brighton of vital three points to climb further away from that relegation zone and to put ****nal into further misery, Too.
Tough results for Freddie Youngberg in that interim position.
But does the pressure now amount on ****nal to make an appointment of a permanent manager and someone who can right the ship before things get too far out of hand and nine games windless? Nine games winless for ****nal, meanwhile, brightened.
Snap a three game losing streak and climb up to 13th place.
Graham Potter will be extremely pleased with the way things have gone, but the bottom line is ****nal did not take their chances and ah should have asserted their dominance in this game.
****nals first ever home lost to Brighton in any competition.
A stunning result here today.
Brighton and Hove Albion to ****nal at home at the Emirates.
