when the New England Patriots beat the Philadelphia Eagles.
Tom Brady's post game press conference made you feel like the Patriots just lost.
But it was also understandable that Brady was growing frustrated with the offense.
And even though he appreciated what the defense in the special teams had done for the team, it almost felt like Brady knew it just wasn't sustainable to keep putting up low scores in expecting to win.
That's why when the Patriots faced off against the Dallas Cowboys and another low scoring affair, we all expected Brady to go off the deep end.
But Brady took a very different approach and accepted that the Patriots offense was no longer the identity of the team.
Then it happened the same thing that happened in Baltimore.
The Patriots defense was not able to shut down to Shawn Watson in the Houston Texans offense, and Tom Brainy and the struggling offense were forced to try and score at least 29 points to win the game.
It never happened and the Patriots lost their second game of the season, which consequently dropped the Patriots from the first seat in the A F C to the second seed So you would expect Tom Brady to be livid after losing to the Houston Texans, 28 2 22 on Sunday Night Football, considering that most of the Patriots points came drink garbage time.
But Brady decided to take a different approach this time, and he's trying to keep things in perspective as faras Patriot fans go.
And I can be included to this, especially with my reaction to last night's game.
The Patriots second loss in four games in the Patriots, fourth straight games, where the offense really just looked like a shell of itself.
It can almost feel like the sky is falling, but Tom Brady doesn't see it that way.
And when it was on the Greg Hill show this morning, he seemed to almost downplay the loss.
And I get the impression that Brady feels the Patriots are still in a good position, which they are, But sometimes it's fans.
I think we allow our motions to get the best of us and not think with a clear head.
Now here's what Brady said aboutthe lost, he said.
It's not always going to be perfect.
Football is not a perfect game.
It's just got to be a pretty good game.
We're learning as we go.
We're not to intend, were 10 and two.
I know there's high expectations.
At least there are for us.
I think the expectations of our team are often very, very, very high level, and I understand that.
But at the same time, I think there's a realistic expectations without cir***stances and incorporating different elements like player injuries and different players.
And again, we're just trying to do our best that we can do.
We just gotta figure out how to be more consistent.
Just figure out how to stay on track, get the ball into the red area and just do a little bit of a better job and put us in a better position to win. End quote.
You know, even if Brady was ****ed off, I don't think we could expect him to come out and really say anything publicly.
That's just not the way Brady or anybody in the Patriots system under Bill Belichick handles their business.
As far as I'm concerned about the Patriots offense, am I concerned? Of course I am.
I can't sit here and tell you that the last four games.
I'm just thrilled with how the Patriots offense is performed.
AM I is concerned, as, let's say, Nick right? Max Kellerman are Shannon Sharpe? Absolutely not.
I'm not in the business of same things just to get a reaction the same way the fake sports media does.
I have seen positive parts of this offensive game.
I have seen moments when I believe the Patriots are getting it together.
It really just hasn't happened yet.
Look, I can't blame people who are upset that the Patriots let the Texans and the Ravens knocked them out of the number one seed.
But this time, I'm not losing sleep over it.
You know, I have long since passed the point where I doubt the Patriots until Tom Brady and Bill Belichick proved that they can no longer do it, and they can no longer be counted on to get it together.
I will always have face in this team, you know, it's kind of like this.
I doubted the Patriots back in 2014 when they got blown out on Monday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs.
I walked around that week moping, believing the chatter, believing the talk that perhaps Tom Brady and the Patriots were really done, and it's now one of those moments of fool me once.
Shame on you, fool me twice.
I will never again doubt the Patriots until they give me a reason to doubt them.
So I encourage everybody to take a deep breath.
And remember last season how we felt After back to back losses to the Titans and the Steelers? I want us to remember how a lot of people were sure the Patriots had no chance of going to the Super Bowl.
I have no idea how the Patriots are actually gonna fix whatever isn't working offensively because I throat every solution I had last year in hand.
The ball to Sony, Michelle and Pound.
The Rock was never one of my solutions.
That's why Josh McDaniels of Bill Belichick coach the team, and that's why I talk about the team on the Internet.
I Q is much greater than mine.
It's much greater than yours.
It's much greater than a lot of people in the National Football League and his fans of the New England Patriots.
As a fan of the New England Patriots.
I'm more than comfortable waiting to see what this team does near the end of December into January and into the, you know, and into the the real meat of the season before I deem them incompetent and not worthy.
Other seven Championship Sincerely, your boy Ray, What's going on? Everybody welcome to the show here on SportsCastr.
Thank you to everybody who's coming on in and enjoying the chat tonight.
That was my little rant and rave that I wanted to start out with.
Now it's open up to everybody, and we could talk about whatever we want to talk about.
I do have a couple of ideas in my head of things that I would like to discuss.
One of those things come in via a sort of Twitter conversation that I was having with Joe and a couple of other people on there, and we were talking about, you know, what was the most devastating loss for the Patriots this season? Not game loss.
But when we talk more about more about a player in personnel, you know, I think the name that came up was losing James Devlin and David Andrews, and they said that those were the two biggest losses of the year.
But I kind of had to counter that and said, I don't really buy that.
Actually, Andrew's I By James Devlin.
I think that was one of the top losses we had this year.
And, you know, having David Andrews not on the team sucks.
There's a lot of communication that happens between him and Tom Brady.
There's a lot of things that you know, you know, just you'd rather have David Anders on the field.
But I got to say that Ted Caress has done a really good job filling in for David Andrews.
You can't really say that Brady's been under constant pressure because of him.
I think they would have been fine.
They've snuck the ball behind Ted Cares Last night after he went down and for Nets had to come in.
That was when they didn't stick the ball special.
That fourth and inches.
That's where I think that's where God pointed out that that's we're losing.
David Andrews really became a thing and that I agree with okay because it really reduced a depth.
It would have been nice if we were to lose a lineman last night, it would have been Andrews and Ted cares.
Could it came in rather than for nets.
That center position is going to be It's gonna be an issue the rest of the season, especially from a depth perspective.
But at the end of the day, it was really, you know, it was really cool.
It was really, you know, just a cool conversation.
I want to just kind of share the thoughts.
And yeah, I mean, I agree with with Adam.
Steven Kostovski was a huge loss.
Um, Kai Forbath was released today.
I assume that means that focus coming back or Fulcher, whatever the hell his name is is coming back to the team.
Um, odds were that he was only gonna miss about a week after having his appendix removed and, you know, and they figured he'd be back.
And the Patriots also picked up some sort of depth defensive tackle today.
I can't remember his name from Philadelphia.
Mistresses guy That'll sit in active all the time.
I'm actually wanted what the corresponding move will be to bring folk back onto the team.
Who's gonna end up being released? Maybe it's what happened, and I missed it.
I don't know, but Ah, yes.
So we look at this game last night and, um, you know, there's there's a lot of things we can talk about with this Patriots game last night, but I don't know how much do we want to focus on a loss? You know, Bill Belichick I was watching is his post game press conference last night and his answers and sort of his demeanor and the way he was going about things, I really kind of just thought to myself, Man, the only thing that we were missing last night was we're on to Kansas City because you could tell the Bill Belichick just wanted nothing to do with anything.
But, you know, when we kind of talked about what went right, what would wrong all that kind of stuff in that Patriots game? I think it's really easy to point out the stuff that went wrong over the stuff that went right, and I don't know how much I want to talk about it today, because it kind of covered a lot of it in my pre game last night.
But you know, when we talk about what went right in yesterday's game when Sony Michelle was given the opportunity to do what he could do.
He did his job and did it adequately.
He ran the ball 10 times yesterday for 40 five yards.
5 carries per yard when you're averaging almost half a first down.
Every time he touched the ball, that's effective.
I don't know why they got away from the run on the first drive of the game.
He ran the ball six times, 33 yards, averaging five and 1/2 yards per carry.
He ran the ball one more time in the first half, three times in the second half and they just totally got away from from Sony. Michelle.
But what I'm really happy to see is there was a lot of people, you know.
As much as people were mad at Marshall Newhouse, we couldn't wait for Isaiah win to get back and all that kind of stuff.
Um, you know, it was Ah, you know Sony Michelle.
The last two games has really stepped up and I hope kind of ease some of the concerns that maybe some people have, because when he's given given the opportunity.
Ah, he's played well and that's the way it went.
You know, another good thing last night.
I know a lot of this came in garbage time, but it was really nice to see James White re involved in the game.
You know, he hasn't really been involved this season.
They've been covered him in a lot of double coverage stuff.
Um, he hasn't really got a lot of opportunities to run the ball.
He was well over like 150 yards last night and combined, rushing and passing scored a couple of touchdowns from Tom Brady on two tosses.
I think you'd like 79 rushing yards.
I was really not again.
It was garbage time.
But it was really away for the Patriots to build upon some of the things that Tom Brady and him could do, and we know sort of vintage.
You know what brainy Brady and White that we had from last season? But again, teams are getting wise to James White and they're not letting him just run down the field like they used to just be there for the screen passes and just those dumps in that kind of thing.
Um, so, yeah, that was really good.
And Rhino got his tooth pulled.
I know the tooth pain sucks.
I ended up with a ah, bad infection in my gums that damaged a bunch of nerves.
I did get two teeth pulled a couple of years ago.
Anybody who's been here for a while.
You guys remember that on YouTube? I couldn't do some stuff for a while.
And I'm getting two teeth pulled.
We're the front teeth right over back teeth. Man.
You look like a hockey player.
Like like a hockey player.
I wear a denture with wisdom.
Look at that. Look at that toughness.
I look like I'm ready just to go out having mm.
Anybody? Anyplace time, someone says What happened? Your teeth, I say, Ah, bar fight.
Now, if this isn't groundbreaking sports media, I don't know what it is.
And you know, I don't know what you call this.
If you're not interested in seeing my missing teeth, I mean, I don't know. I don't know what else.
What else is gonna be it? Hey, look, the last thing that I want to discuss is, and I was really happy to see the Patriots do this last night almost reminded me of that Kansas City game Back in 2014 the Patriots never stopped fighting.
They kept fighting.
They never gave up throughout the game.
And even though it was garbage time, even though a lot of those those really those stats were patted because of, you know, all that kind of thing.
The Patriots fought and fought and fought and never gave up and Bill about.
I remember, you know, I think back to the first do your job And he was discussing the Kansas City game and he was saying that you know what he really liked about the team was that how match they kept fighting, how much they never gave up.
They kept playing for each other.
I think we saw that last night with the Patriots.
I mean, we called the game with what 45 minutes left after they scored.
After Houston scored and put up 28 points, we knew the game was over and really, even though we really had no reason to be in the game, we were Brandon Bolden, not getting a second hand up or not getting two inches off the ground Maur of recovering that onside kick and given Tom Brady 50 seconds to try to march down the field and score the winning touchdown.
Like you can never count out the New England Patriots as long as they keep trying.
And I was just happy to see him try and last night.
So those were really the three things that went right in the game.
What went wrong? Well, there's a lot of things we can talk about, right? Tom Brady and his receivers are still not on the same page.
You know, um, or the prime example with Jacoby Meyers.
And I'm gonna talk a little bit more in depth about this tomorrow in my blogging on my YouTube page.
But there was, ah, play with Jacoby Meyers, where Tom Brady was trying to guide him down the field and instead of Go and Brady was telling him to go, go, go down the seam, and instead of going down the seam, he came back to Tom Brady.
It ended up being an incomplete pass because he couldn't get away from the coverage, and you know he's foreseen.
He's really forcing these young rookie receivers like McKeel Harry and Jacoby Meyers toe add lip on, try to join the New England Patriots.
And when they have to ad lib, it just make things worse for them.
And and there's a big reason behind that.
And it's just that lack of star power that the Patriots have, and I'm gonna get really in depth on that tomorrow, so I'm not gonna talk too much about it.
But, yeah, they're not on the same page.
Mohammed Sunu might still be dealing with an ankle injury.
We hardly saw him on the field.
He got brought in on a crucial fourth down.
They've thrown to him on fourth down before he completed the first down, big third down catch last night.
But he drops a very catchable pass on fourth down.
I know that he was bumped before he got there, but it had nothing to do with him dropping the ball.
Yes, it should have been a penalty.
Yes, NFL referees suck, but it's gone against other teams.
Two, and it's helped the Patriots.
So, you know the NFL wraps.
Just suck the fact of the matter was That was a catchable ball that went right in and out of his hands.
And, you know, that was an awful drop pass, and Matt Lacoste dropped another pass that would have gone for a first down.
It was a staple Gronk, catch and run and you spectra tight end to pull that kind of stuff off.
It's been a staple on the Patriots, and he just didn't make the catch and he dropped it.
It was a brutal, brutal drop, you know, and the receiver's just couldn't get separation.
Adelman wasn't double coverage, White was in double coverage and door Seth Meyers and Harry were blimey, Harry barely got used after the interception.
Um, where you know, I can't blame Harry.
A lot of that was on Brady.
I thought it was, you know, it was a Miss throw is a stupid throw, but at the same time, you know, here he's gotta fight his body back to that ball harder.
But he's a rookie, so I'm gonna give him the, you know, the past on that.
But Myers couldn't get open.
The tight ends were really effective.
It was just, you know, there And then, of course, Brady made the poor decision on that interception.
You know, the defense gave up three legitimate passing touchdowns, one of them being a deep past.
The other two were long drives down the field over 80 yards.
The 1st 1 that they let up.
Yeah, a lot of the touchdown, but I mean, at the end of the day, it was, you know, the Houston started on the 20 yard on the pages 20 yard line because of the interception.
Um, you know, Kenny Stills burnt them for 35 yards on that touchdown pass.
DeAndre Hopkins was being covered by stuff on Gilmore.
He burnt them on a 27 yard past.
And really, they got away from the running game and it was working.
And that's where I put it on Josh McDaniels.
You know, that's right.
Put it on McDaniels and I'ma McDaniel supporter.
You guys know what I I converted Rhino and to being and to being a McDaniel supporter.
But a lot of that game was on him last night.
I wasn't happy with his play calling.
It wasn't happy that you had Sony Michelle, who was bawling out and suddenly, you know, suddenly, McDaniels gets away from the run game.
It was frustrating to me, and I talked about, you know, Sony Michelle plane.
And the way he was playing was one of the big positives of the game.
So, you know, it was just Bella check set of Perfect.
You gotta coach better.
You gotta play better.
You know, Hats off to the, you know, hats off to the Texans.
They did what they had to do.
They got the job done.
And it's that man a lot of good, a lot of bad, but it's on the Kansas City Joe.
What's going on? Thank you for coming in.
Will. He's in here.
Robertson here? Nobody yet.
But he's no Adam's been here since the beginning.
You know what? Right now, I have no idea why they took the ball out of Sony Michelle's hands.
Uh, I don't know if Josh McDaniels felt their best way to win was, you know, giving Brady the ball to throw.
I talked about it yesterday.
Or maybe the day I think maybe they think was yesterday.
I brought it up and I asked, you know, everybody in the chats, By the way, guys, 1000 over 1000 viewers on last night's Played by Ray.
My largest viewership ever hear on SportsCastr.
So thank you to everybody who came in That was the most active I've ever seen.
The chat on a game day.
So, uh, you know, it was thank you all.
But I put it out You guys last night and I said, Is this Tom Brady's ego? Is this Josh McDaniels believing that this is the best way to do things? You know? I don't know.
I don't I don't know the answer, and I doubt we'll get the answer by the Patriots.
And at this point in time, I don't feel like speculating because I just don't know you know where the Patriots just experimenting.
Let's see who can get open.
Let's see what we can do offensively.
Is this all building for the playoffs? You know, I always talk about the Patriots.
Season starts at the end of December, you know, usually the last two games of December is when we're going to see the Patriots game plan for the playoffs, and I think rhinos nail on the head and I said it all last season.
Josh McDaniels can out coach himself a times right.
He tries to do things that don't necessarily work.
And you know, if it gets back in their face.
So I gotta ask you Is it time, Rhino? Is it time to bring back Antonio Brown? Because the man is not making it easy on himself.
I'm on the Antonio Brown bandwagon and then gelatin ation puts out a post today at Sebi on Instagram A B shares it now.
I've heard since then that he's deleted it.
I'm not sure if he was advised to delete it or not.
But let me read to you what a be shared on his bloody instagram.
I'm starting to question if Robert Kraft wants to win.
This is a business.
You have rumors of your Hall of Fame quarterback wanting to leave as we already losing as well as already losing your All Pro tight end.
I would assume that you'd want to improve your offensive threats, which are obviously lacking.
Josh and Tom have nothing to work with.
Swallow your pride.
A report came out that you had fingers up your ass during the spot.
Just let us sign a B and you can win another Super Bowl.
If not, I'm not sure this is a Super Bowl winning roster, and I just sat there and thought, Somebody take his iPhone away and give him Ah, bloody flip phone.
Keep him off of social media now.
I don't know if he was advised to delete that or if you actually read it.
I feel like sometimes a bee just shares things that are added at him, and he saw his little gift dancing.
But I mean, here's I I believe, and I've heard people talk about it.
I believe that there's players and coaches within the organization trying to mend the bridges between our cake between RKK between Robert Kraft and Antonio Brown.
Rumor has it, and these air rumors.
But rumor has it that original apology from Antonio Brown was prompted.
Ah, by Robertson.
What the hell's his name? Michael Michael Craft.
Whatever his name is.
Little craft Jonathan.
It was prompted by Jonathan Kraft asking Abie to make a public apology, and I'm not kidding you guys.
I put together seven reasons today why the Patriots have signed Antonio Brown.
That was prior, so that instagram post going out and I 110% agree Any chance of Antonio Brown being a New England patriot is gone, and it's all because he's stupid.
And I said that when he went when he's just stupid, you're doing everything you can do to re.
He doesn't even want to come back just to the NFL.
I see all the people hate Comer.
The Eagles come to this team, come to that team.
He's like No, child, please.
No, He wants to be a New England patriot.
And then when there's hope, when there's hope that may be the Patriots offense looks like hell.
The players and coaches want you back.
Maybe Tommy can go and talk to Daddy and say, Please bring back Antonio.
You put out another post even if you didn't write it yourself.
You put out another post attacking Robert Kraft, the Onley person in your way from rejoining the Patriots.
I'm not even to go through my seven reasons to bring him back because it's a waste of time because my first point was yes, he's available.
He wants to be a patriot.
He's the best receiver available.
He's probably one of the best receivers in the league.
What are they waiting for? Well, you know what? They're waiting for him.
For him not to be an idiot.
And right now you said a perfect The train isn't just left the station.
It's derailed in.
You know, my body.
Who's a Steelers fan when Antonio was still a stealer texted me one day video of Antonio Brown saying some And he said, Do you think he has mental health issues? And I think some of you know my real profession outside of screaming about the Patriots is I'm a mental health professional, and I said to him, I think he does, man.
And the guy who texted me happened to be somebody I worked with.
He's now my, you know, one of my best friends growing up.
But he's also in the in the Mental Health and Addiction field and and criminal Justice Field as well.
And we both started talking about like, maybe it's this.
Maybe it's C T. E.
Maybe it's some sort of post traumatic stress disorder.
Now you're hearing about his music coming out that he was shot in the ear and he got into police chases and he got into all the other stuff, and I know that people are calling him a thug.
But I'm just looking at, you know, I don't necessarily always call people thugs when they go through that stuff.
I say they're products of their environment and you're just seen it come out and you know, a part of me and and someone tweeted this a while ago and a part of me believes it.
But they showed the Vontaze Burfict hit on him in the playoffs.
I think that was back in 2014 or 2016 when the Patriots beat the Steelers in the next round in the NFC championship game, when Perfect came and just laid a helmet to helmet late Antonio Brown out.
If you really look at it, he's never been the same since, and I agree with you.
Man is there's something There's something that there's underlying issues that he's not dealing with.
He needs to see a psychologist.
He needs to see something I don't know, blond guy.
What's going on? Bobby, What's happening? Not long.
I know you were here at the beginning.
Don't know why I didn't show you.
No. Then thank you for coming in.
Bobby, thank you for coming in.
Well, now that that's derailed and I am no longer gonna talk about you know why, it's time to bring back Antonio Brown.
Just spent 20 minutes talking about how stupid he is.
I do got to talk about my favorite team to talk about, and that's the Cleveland Browns.
I'm not gonna spend much time on it, But you guys know how much the Cleveland Browns ****ed me off.
Not just Ah, not because of a Patriots fan, because I'm a pure football fan, you know.
And the Cleveland Browns had coats.
Freddie, I'm the worst coach in the world kitchens.
He wore a shirt on Friday.
Thought he becue thought he'd have a little laugh That red Pittsburgh started it.
And I don't necessarily disagree with him.
You guys know, man, I I think way too many people have defended Mason Rudolph.
He had a big part.
He started that whole melee.
You know when after I saw the kick to the boys they threw on Garrett, I really you know, I I I didn't feel any sympathy for him, but when you're Freddie kitchens and you're the coach of the most dysfunctional locker room in the National Football League.
The last thing you need to do is add fuel to the fire.
The Cleveland Browns.
I need to start focusing on playing football and not making headlines for all the wrong reasons, because you laughed on Friday and the Steelers laughed when they BU 20 to 3 and you drop down to five and seven years with Freddie wrote, he wrote.
He said, Quote award T shirts.
I wore a jacket with it.
My daughters wanted me to wear the T shirt and I'd wear it again.
The T shirt didn't cause us to give up.
40 yards are give up 40 yard passes and we were ready to play.
That's the only thing people need to be concerned about. No Fred.
Maybe the T shirt directly had nothing to do with loss.
I get that directly.
It had nothing to do with loss, but man this.
It was just a microcosm of the entire Brown season.
The Garrett incident.
Baker Mayfield having a war of words with Rex Ryan of all people Odell Beckham Jr being underutilized, Odell Beckham Jr.
Giving Tom Brady a pair of God of his own quarterback.
I have zero interest of anything ever good or bad or if the Browns have any success.
As long as it doesn't affect the Patriots, I don't care.
I really don't care.
What was once a historical franchise that had Jim Brown, one of the greatest football players to ever play a guy that I still watch. Highlight Guy.
I never watched live that I watch.
Highlights off because of how good he waas very much ago, Rob Gronkowski retired in his prime.
That organization has been a disgrace since Art Modell picked it up.
Moved at the Baltimore I appreciate the talent that the Cleveland Browns have, and I'm really disgusted that Baker, Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Old B J.
Jarvis Landry, Myles Garrett.
They're all being wasted because the Cleveland Browns just insist on keeping this incompetent coach.
What can I say? Stew? What's happening, Buddy Jandi.
If that was ready to play, what's wrong with transferred approximately game? The Ravens had Jim Brown.
Not these Browns.
Jim Brown, technically, is the Baltimore Ravens.
Uh, I mean like, it's it's like this.
You know what No, I'm not gonna waste any more time on the Cleveland Brown.
You could replace kitchens.
Ah, I think Josh McDaniels would be a great fit in Cleveland.
I don't think Rex Ryan, they can't have a bravado guy in there.
They need someone that can come in and calm the waters.
Actually, Brian Flores would have been a great coach, but obviously he's not available now.
You know what, j m D.
I don't think it matters if they have an offense or defense of coach right now.
I think what they need to do is just they need a calming factor.
They need someone to put Baker Mayfield in check.
They need to tell him.
Don't worry about, you know, talking.
Don't worry about the media.
Give these blanket boring answers.
Focus on playing football.
You have what could be the best running back in the league.
I know that some people will say Mark Ingram.
I know some people say Delvin cooks.
I'm a big fan of Nick Chubb, I think, because he plays on Cleveland.
He's so underrated.
Dropped it, and I love Sony Michelle, but I would have wept myself if we add it up with Nick Chubb.
And I'll tell you the truth.
Nick Shop wasn't on my radar going into this season.
So it's not like I can sit here and and say, like, Oh, I knew Nick Job was gonna be there, you know? But they have so much talent and it's just being wasted.
Myles Garrett could be one of the best linebackers in the league and, yeah, this helmet thing, it's gonna it's gonna haunt him for a little bit.
But I think when he comes back is long, you know he'll be fine.
I mean, it's not like you can look at Miles Garrett and say, like, you know, this is repeat behavior by him.
I don't think we've ever seen anybody during a game take off their helmets, you know, beat their opponent half to death, which wasn't what happened.
But that's the way people like to describe it.
So that's the way I'm going to describe it.
Be nice in Cleveland.
You know, Mike Tomlin would almost be good in Cleveland.
I know he's gonna be could be a free agent at the end of the season.
Imagine being 10 and two and you have to go on the road like tannin, too, and you have to go on the road in the playoffs.
And I know look, that divisions are gonna come down a week.
We know it right, but it's still fun to think about.
I ****ed off a lot of San Francisco fans yesterday, and it really irritated me because I made a typo in the tweet, which, as I'm being flagrantly attacked by 40 Niners fans, rhinos just throwing fuel on the fire.
Thanks for that, buddy.
I couldn't even talk smack back because I screwed up the tweet so much I couldn't even talk smack back.
But what I was trying to say.
Waas Jimmy Garoppolo had been tested three times in the regular season, and he's one for two.
I wrote one for three, and I knew at that point look, everybody in the world knew what I meant.
Everybody in the world knew that it was a typo, but in those kind of situations, if you make that kind of mistake, you're screwed.
And I knew it and I just had to eat it, mute the conversation and move on with my life because I clicked on it after and it was still going and I thought, Oh my God, all the good **** that I tweet And this is the one that blows up and I've had it.
I had a rough week on Twitter last week.
Guys, I really did.
Auto correct was killing me.
I'd had to delete so many friggin tweets and rewrite them, and I swear to God Twitter will not add an edit button just to screw with people like me.
That's a least my belief.
Another touchdown for Seattle game is so over on a screen pass.
You know, Russell Wilson just does not get the respect in the league.
I think he deserves.
He really doesn't.
And I mean, I know that there was a screen pass.
You can't turn around and say That was Russell Wilson.
But you know, he's not flashy, like uh, Shawn Watson or Lamar Jackson's.
I don't think he doesn't get the style points, but man, he is such he's such a fast mobile quarterback and he's tough and I've always you guys and go back to my live chats last year on YouTube and I always When people would ask me, You know, if you didn't have Tom Brady, which quarterback would you wish would you want? Right now, you know, And I'd say, Well, obviously, Patrick my Holmes is on my list, but it really if I'm looking at long term I was looking at.
And at that point, you know, we didn't know if Patrick Holmes is gonna come out and look like this this year.
I mean, look at Cam Newton, right? I said, Russell Wilson, man.
Russell Wells Number one is a Super Bowl champion.
He's done it with.
Really? No offense was like him.
And Marshawn Lynch.
You know, Curse wasn't really anything special.
His best receiver in the Super Bowl against the Patriots of the guy who never caught the ball hadn't caught a pass all season.
Russell Wilson's a tank is a machine, so yeah, it's crazy.
Uh, Allie's gotta retire, right? Like there's no way he could be sitting there right now, thinking that stain and playing footballs in his best interest.
I mean, who's going to give him a contract for real? Like who is going to give Eli Manning the contract right now who's desperate enough that they need? He's nothing more than a veteran back.
I don't even think Chicago for Eli, you know, Look at Nick Fools.
I mean, not experiments over pretty quick.
And and Jacksonville, they're going back the gardener immediately.
I mean, uh, who was the guy? I think Cam Newton could end up in Chicago.
I think that's Ah ah.
Viable landing spot for him.
I mean, but I don't even know.
I've heard rumors that Chicago is comfortable staying with Mitch Strabinsky as their quarterback, which is insane because he's awful.
Speaking of awful, yeah, they're stuck with fools in Jacksonville, completely stuck.
But speaking of awful, I haven't watched the game yet, but I'm gonna watch both these games.
How bad are the New York Jets? Number one? Number two, like, how bad are the Philadelphia? How bad is the NFC East like? How did the Jets lose to the Cincinnati Bengals, who are now one in 11? How could people turn around and tell me that the Jets were the biggest threat to the Patriots in the A F C East and Dallas is trying their ****edest to give the Eagles the East they are.
Dallas is like, Man, we don't want to go to the playoffs.
Eagles taken away from us and they just won't do it.
And now they're full game behind Dallas.
Dallas has the tie breaker, and they're finished.
And yet the L A Rams, who are seven in five, may not make the playoffs.
Matter of fact, they probably won't.
Minnesota is gonna drop to eight and four.
The Packers air there at nine and three.
So Minnesota's a wild card team.
New Orleans Saints or 10 and two.
They were gonna win their division tonight.
Seattle's gonna move to 10 and two.
San Francisco intended to.
We're gonna be a wild card.
And yet the six and six Dallas Cowboys or the five and seven Eagles have an opportunity to make the playoffs.
And I mean, it's just crazy.
How are you that bad? Like it's impossible that you're that bad.
So I don't know, just awful, miss watching the look at Kirk Cousins on that throw.
It's a game, guys.
This game is far from over.
It is a game to score game with 12 minutes left.
I mean, if we thought the page it still had a chance.
You got to think of 10 point game is is there I would like I would like to see Dallas make the playoffs and get knocked out first round.
I would like nothing more than Eagles fans who believed the next dynasty was created after Super Bowl 52.
And, yeah, the Chiefs will play Baltimore in the playoffs.
If it ended today, they'd have to get through the first round, though.
Bolt, right now Baltimore in New England, would have the buy.
The Bills would be a wild card team, and it's, I think the Steelers right now with the tie breaker, are a wild card, t r the other wild card scene.
So the Bills would face Houston and the Steelers would face Kansas City in the first round and then the winner of Kansas City and Pittsburgh.
Buffalo would play Kansas City.
Yes, Buffalo would pit play.
Kansas City in Houston would play Pittsburgh the win if if the Steelers won well, actually the winner, because it's the last her team.
So it would either be the Chiefs or the Steelers the past or Houston.
It looks like if things go, if Buffalo beats cans or beats, Kansas City will be Patriots and Buffalo in the divisional round.
If the season ended today with Baltimore taking on either Pittsburgh or Houston, if Pittsburgh one they'd be taking on Baltimore and the Patriots would be taken out there.
There's a whole lot of different things here.
So the only way that the Buffalo and and ah, Baltimore can meet, I believe, actually, if the Chiefs won, actually, if the Chiefs won because their division winners, Baltimore, would play either the Steelers or the Bills.
If the Houston wins and Buffalo wins, it'll be Buffalo in Baltimore in the divisional round in Houston and the Patriots.
It is not by Recker announced by standings, it'll be Houston and the Patriots in the in the divisional round in New England.
This time, if the Kansas City Chiefs won in Houston one, then Houston would go to Baltimore.
Kansas City would go to New England, I believe, and if the Steelers won and the Chiefs won, if the Steelers win, they go to Baltimore.
No matter what happens if Buffalo wins and the Steelers win, Buffalo would go to New England.
Otherwise, Buffalo is going to go to the chief's unless the Steelers beat Houston.
That makes sense to everybody, and Bobby's got our Yeah, Bobby's got a right.
We still gotta beat the Chiefs next week.
We still gotta beat the Bangles.
We still gotta beat the Bills again.
And we still got to beat the Dolphins again.
We still got four games ahead of us before we get to the playoffs next week.
We still got to tough games in Kansas City and Buffalo.
Buffalo's gotta come to Foxboro at the end of December, so I'm not overly concerned about that game.
But, I mean, I'm liking this Josh Allen kid, and I'm liking that Buffalo defense.
It is a Patriots fan, but you all know me.
I love football.
I can appreciate good teams and buffaloes a good team.
They really are.
And you got to appreciate some of those things that they're doing.
So it's Ah, yeah.
I mean, it's you gotta It's just the way it goes.
Ah, that's too much right now.
Not ready for playoff schedule.
Ah, what you got here? Ah, got a person on YouTube telling me our offense is a college offense and Meyer socks.
All because I said Myers, do the penalties was a winner.
I mean, Jacoby Meyers is doing his job.
I wouldn't necessarily.
I wouldn't call it a call it.
We got to college receiver to rookie receivers.
Besides that, it's a team full of veterans.
Well, I guess you know Sonny Michelle's a second year player, but it's mostly I mean, it's a veteran offensive line.
For the most part, it's a 42 year old quarterback.
It's a 33 year old Julian Adelman.
It's a former first round draft pick and Philip Thor set.
Now that's a little bit of a ridiculous statement to make, right.
So look, ah, you two people are an angry crowd.
I'll tell you that much.
I mean, I've never seen a crowd so angry with a team like I've seen the YouTube crowd and I almost feel bad for the Patriots at time because you know, if any of those players are ever to watch my videos, which I know they don't guys, let's not go crazy here and think, Oh, look, a raise and prima.
Donna thinks the Patriots are watching this stuff.
I know they're not watching my stuff.
Kyle Van Noise not flick around on what's racing today.
Um, otherwise he'd respond to my direct message about joining me on the show.
Um, I'm looking at SportsCastrs.
Got a partnership? The n f l p A.
Make Kyle Vanoy talk to me.
Ah, yeah, man, it's really ah, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about Brady and how he's been performing.
But he always comes through in the clutch and look in my YouTube video tonight.
Or at the beginning of this stream, you would've heard me say, Am I do have concerns about the offense? Of course I do.
I'd be crazy if I didn't have some concerns, right? Like I'm not oblivious to some of the defaults.
What happened? You guys watching the game? What happened here? I didn't or fake punt.
Look at that easily picks up the first down by 150.
All I love fake punts.
Pete Carroll's got some balls, man.
When he wants to do, and he's got balls to make the calls goes right over to a special team coach.
I mean, it's Ah, wanna play.
But anyways, what I was getting at is, of course, I have concerns, right? But it doesn't mean that I'm doubting they can't get it together, you know? And I and I had the same concerns week 13 and 14 last year when we lost to Pittsburgh and then lost to tennis or loss of Tennessee, then lost the Pittsburgh.
You know, it's we can't just sit here and say the team is perfect.
I mean, we all watch the game last night.
We know the team is not perfect, right? I mean, we would just be fooling ourselves if we were to say the New England Patriots are a perfect team.
What does that mean? That they're not going to get it together? Does that mean that they're not gonna win the Super Bowl? Does that not mean that tall brainy is still the gold lick? Of course they are, and I think that's what's driving me crazy.
It's driving me crazy.
That people somehow have.
This illusion like this is like a brand new team that has no chance of doing anything like it's the New England friggin Patriots, man.
It's a team that has just been proving people wrong day in and day out.
And I you know, I said it and you on YouTube and I said it here.
It's, you know, back in 2014 we got blown out to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.
I walked around that week.
I will admit it.
I walked around that week.
Not at the team upset because it was over the Patriots and the dominance as we knew it was done.
Shame on me, fool.
More full of shame on you.
And that was exactly the way I felt about that game.
And I feel about this team now.
There is no way that I can be upset, or there's no way that I could be concerned about it because I've been proved wrong on so many other occasions.
I will never doubt the Patriots again, and that also means that I'm getting to that point of the night where I'm just rambling and because of that, I'm going to say good night, guys, I'm tired.
I've still got work to do.
I've got to prepare for tomorrow.
I hope that you will all come back and join me tomorrow around 10 p.m.
Tweet that all the patriots and say join Ray on D P n Thank you guys for tuning in.
Thank you. SportsCastr.
Gives me the opportunity to come out here each and every night.
You guys need to tweet how much you love me on SportsCastr because my contract's coming up and we're going to start discussing moving forward this week.
So they need to know how much you love watching DP an on SportsCastr so that they continue to want to keep me here.
Ah, thank you, guys.
Thank you to all of your past nature.
Like I said, it wasn't for all of you.
I would just be a crazy pages fans screaming to a microphone.
You're the ones who make me look normal.
I appreciate that So much you guys have been Ah, pleasure.
You thinking, you know, thanks for making life less stressful.
Thank you for making my life less stressful.
You know, as much as you guys like to come listen to me talk.
Um, I love to come talk to you guys.
This is an outlet for me.
I have just as much fun as I hope you guys have.
I've always said I would stop doing YouTube and I would stop doing sports cars.
And I stopped in all this stuff when it wasn't fun.
It means it's still fun.
And yeah, we fight.
Yeah, we get on each other's skin.
Ryan and I have gone at it.
Bobby and I have gone out of Joe.
You and I have gone out on it.
You guys of the bomb, You guys are the best.
And I've already said even a SportsCastr doesn't extend me.
Maybe I shouldn't say this on here and blow my negotiation, But I don't like to come watch me this far into it.
Even they don't extend me.
I love the SportsCastr audience.
I won't leave SportsCastr.
I'll try to figure out different ways to make money.
That's not that's not an issue for me right now.
Um, it was up to me.
I'd leave you too and stick with forecaster full time.
You know what? Half pays the bills right now.
Get a lot more money on there.
so I kind of just stick it out on there.
But I love this.
This crew here, this SportsCastr crew, the Von guy, Bobby Stew, Joe Rhino.
Nicky, when he's here.
Ah, you know, um, Adam, all you guys, I'm trying to think of a couple others who aren't here right now.
They used to come around, and you guys are what make this best.
I love the SportsCastr crew, and you guys are my Twitter crew, and it's all good and ah, I'm done tired.
Thank you so much.
