Not only did the Philadelphia Eagles loose to the Miami Dolphins, they blew a 14 point lead in the process.
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Fitz Magic, I guess.
Burns the Eagles again.
So last year against Tampa Bay, Week two Eagles go down the Raymond James Stadium and they get handed in out fight by Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Same thing happens today in Miami, so Dolphins score five straight touchdowns at one point.
But what really won the football game was their trio.
1/4 down conversions.
So they go for 1/4 and four.
Devante Parker Hall's in a touchdown on 1/4 and four on a jump ball situation down the left sideline.
This gets the Dolphin's back in the game early on in the proceeds.
They also go for a fake field goal, which they convert, and then 1/4 and one later on the game.
So three conversions, three key conversions on fourth down.
Because if you remember at that point in the game, it was 10.
Nothing birds and you got 1/4 and Florrie or any other coach would put that ball the ball back for the Eagles offense.
But no right, Flores.
He goes for it and Parker comes down with the big catch.
So Eagles, now five and seven on the season five and seven, still game behind Cowboys who obviously lost to the Bills on Thursday night.
Somehow, the Eagles are still in the running for the NFC East, and it's gonna come down to Week 16 at Lincoln Financial Field against Dallas.
That's what it's gonna come down to.
You know if the Eagles can actually win these next couple games.
Because, you know, I was on the radio today.
Fox Sports The Gambler here in Philadelphia on the pre game show, and I talked about, you know, Eagle's gotta be careful with this game coming in.
Got to be careful.
He's a guy who can get the ball out quick, and that is the recipe to beat the Eagles defense.
Quick three step drops.
Basically, don't even run the ball, because I don't I don't know how many times the Dolphins actually carried the ball in the second half.
I didn't seem like many.
They just kept dropping back the bat past, dropping back to pass, dropping back to pass.
And while the pressure was relentless in the first half.
It fell off in the second half, and Ryan Fitzpatrick did basically whatever he wanted to do.
Devante Parker might just sicky using their athleticism and their height advantage over some of the overmatched defensive backs.
So these two had huge games.
Mills allowed a pair of touchdowns in the red zone, one to Parker, where he slipped the other one where he lost depth.
I guess he was in his own and he lost the depth in his own, and he allowed just sick you to get behind them.
Look at that play again.
But, uh, yeah equals loose 37 31 that can't get the job done here in Miami.
And, you know, here's what we're gonna do now we're gonna take a look at it.
The schedules between the Eagles and Cowboys because, eagles, somehow we're still in this thing.
Giants Next Monday night at Washington.
You've got the the the Cowboys and week 16 of them at the Giants to close this season.
You would think that they should beat the Giants in the red skits, you would think, but you would have thought that they should beat the Dolphins and they did.
So you know nothing, is it? Gimme a TTE this point as the Eagles have lost the third straight game.
Now, uh, let's see.
Let's take a look at the Cowboys.
Cowboys have the Bears coming up on Thursday night.
Bears just beat the Lions on Thanksgiving.
Ah, let's see, at the Bears, you got the Rams at home ransoms putting a t******* on the Cardinals today, then at the evil.
So I mean, the Cowboys might lose one of those games.
Wouldn't surprise me if they lost one of the next two.
They have dropped three of four.
Uh, if they lose one, it probably to the ramps.
I don't think they will lose in Chicago to that bare steep, but I don't think anybody really thought the Bills.
We're gonna go into Big D beat him either.
So the winner of this NFC East is gonna be the four seat in the conference right now.
It's still up in the air.
Eagles are swimming with pigeons, They're drowning.
They're two games under 500.
But somehow, some way, they're in the right division because they could still win it somehow.
All right, that's it for this broadcast I'm Adrian Fenn.
