occurs at the New York Giants.
So we this was really a back on track game for Green Bay.
After looking really bad last week against the 40 Niners, they came into New York, and the first half honestly wasn't the game that I expect to be.
I thought the Packers were gonna look more like they did in the second half, but the Giants kept up Damon Jones.
Jackson did decent the first half.
The final status for Don's were 20 or 37 240 yards, touched out three receptions.
And then the final steps for Aaron Rodgers was 21 of 33 243 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions.
So since this was a back on tracking for the Packers, it also brings in about a Adams.
So the 1st 2 games of the season, he didn't have any touchdowns, But he had all these yards and then he misses four games and everybody just kind of have to learn how to give the ball to other receivers because they're top receiver wasn't playing since he was out.
The Packers went for now.
But these last two games, Adam says, looked really good.
He had three touchdowns in the last two games and on Lee and telling a Brown has more touchdowns than Toronto.
Adam since 2016 when he barely started, come into the league and be this top wide receivers.
Now he really is this tremendous route runner.
He could make people miss like it's crazy.
He who will be running a sling around this guy would be over here.
They run around.
I don't know how he does it, but he does it well.
He had two touchdown catches.
That looks great.
And he also had a flag for force, the pass interference that could make a person goal for the Packers that led to a touchdown by tight and studious Lewis.
So if we go and going on to the giant side, wide receiver variously in their rookie actually looks pretty good.
So a lot of people were out for the Giants today, so you would think that he would be kind of like a top target.
Well, he had nine targets and he had six sessions for 44 yards and on the season now has 461 yards and five touchdowns.
That's pretty good for a rookie wide receiver, especially with of rookie quarterback.
But Donald Jones didn't do phenomenal in the second half.
Well, he had three interceptions.
One was a bookie, Donald Sa***e.
The other one was coming king.
And this age will sky tomorrow. Williams.
Now the interception by Donald Sa***e kind of just was a bad pass.
I mean, it wa ce clearly over the head of his receiver, and there was nothing that you could really do.
I mean, it couldn't he would have ended a little bit better, but it was almost impossible to avoid.
Now the interception.
By coming king, he just Kevin King had underneath coverage.
He just had the edge, all receiving.
He was covering and it led to an interception.
What really shocked me was the interception from tomorrow. Williams.
That was a great interception.
The past wasn't on the money, but the receiver could have thought that that was a very good chance.
So the fact that tamale and got the interception was really surprising.
He is an ageless wonder, working always creating pass deflections or interceptions or some big play in the game.
Now, when it comes to Kevin King and the defense they're not.
He never gives up huge place or guest pass deflections like it's ridiculous.
There's nothing in between.
He doesn't just give up 56 yards.
Every once in a while, he gives up 20 plus years place or nothing at all, like he had that reception and then end up being a flag and call back.
But he gave up like a 25 yard perception earlier in the game.
So speaking of the interceptions, Jones actually went 110 passes without having an interception.
So the fact that he had three interceptions this game shows that he was under pressure and Darius Smith really put him under pressure.
I didn't actually look up his final stats, but he was all over the place.
I every single play, maybe every other play their waas a pressure or sad or drunk that because of various myths, he looked phenomenal.
Jones just needs to work on ball place man like me as a as a rookie, it's hard to always put the ball on the money, but you need to work on ball placement whether you're under pressure or not.
You have toe find what you have to find, what you're good at and stick with that.
You know, he's not a maneuver out of the pocket and floozies tournament.
Tremendous passes like Aaron Rodgers, and that's fine.
So he's a pocket passer.
Stay cool under pressure.
He's going to stay in the pocket.
That's just how you need to do it.
So Aaron Rodgers actually holds the current record for passes without an interception as well.
He came in tied for third for this game, but Baker Mayfield broke his because he had an interception against the Steelers.
Alan is still going.
He played on Thursday, and her cousins is.
The other one was leading before this week, but he has yet to play.
He plays Seattle on Monday night in Rogers is just the best at getting the 12 men on the field for defense.
Illegal substitution, offsides.
He always has those free place and the way that he causes that.
Even see, he runs up to the line, and then he just throws touchdown passes.
That's exactly what he did for the Montana second touchdown pass of the game.
The way that he does that blows my mind He's had so many passes where he's going to the ground and their 20 are completions or the fact that they went for it on fourth and 10 and he got it to Allison.
He was literally halfway to the ground and he got a complete.
I'm screaming looking here, take the points, take the points and because of last week, especially when you when they faced San Francisco, that went for it on fourth and one and they didn't get it.
So I'm sitting here, take the points.
It's a close game still, and they got it on fourth and 10 because he could just make these magnificent throws and she wasn't Air murders was not sacked out.
All this game, the offensive line stood up completely.
So the upcoming schedule for the Dream A Packers.
Now they have the Redskins next week.
So I'm not saying it's going to be a I'm not saying it's going to be an easy game because the way that the Redskins have been playing against Carolina today actually looked pretty good.
Er, Dwayne Haskins had a really good they didn't score any points off, unfortunately, but before the half ended, they had a really good Dr toe.
Hopefully go down and score some points.
So the Redskins are going to have to be a little bit more of a tougher game.
Like we think of New York like the first half will.
Probably this tough game.
It will be close, and then hopefully the patterns will end up pulling away.
And then so they play all division games last three weeks, Chicago at Minnesota and an active story that Monday night game against Minnesota is going to be a huge game for the Packers.
Let's just say Minnesota ends up losing to see out.
So the Packers went up to nine and three and the Vikings bogo from 83 to 84 you have one game lead.
But just because our spittle is easier does not mean that we're going to end up having about a record.
Minnesota could actually beat Seattle, and then the half assing record in that game Monday night will come down for the division, rather be the third seed, or we could be the fifth c.
You know, I honestly believe that rebate will probably be playing Minnesota for the wild cart unless the same sons of losing a couple of games and we can move up to the second place and have a first round bye.
But like I said, that game will be a phenomenal game and the Packers really got back on track that steam and they play home against the Redskins next week.
So let's hope Grandma just couldn't keep it up.
He has 23 games with four or more touchdowns.
That's third among active quarterbacks.
That's a phenomenal staff to have multiple games with four plus cuts, down passes.
That's ridiculous, and you don't see that very often.
And the fact that he's 23 those games blows my mind.
Aaron Rodgers could be back on pace for the M V P.
I still think that Lamar Jackson is going to win, I think, he said.
For murdering his beat out, Russell well said, especially with how they played today against the 40 Niners.
But he's back in that conversation.
After today and after he plays Redskins and hopefully the Barrys, he will be almost at the top of the list.
This team is finding the rhythm again and they will find it begin next week and hopefully they will keep it against Chicago and Minnesota in Detroit to close out the season.
Well, that's all I have for you guys.
I want to thank you for joining my broadcast with a recap of the Giants and Packers game.
I'll see you guys next time.
