Good morning, everybody.
And welcome to yet another episode of full press coverage. NFL.
Live it. It's Sunday.
It is Thanksgiving week.
And Glendon, I am one of your co host.
I'm joined, as always by Mr Brandon Ray and Mr Terence Biggs. Brandon.
Terrance, How are we doing this weekend? This morning.
What's up? You Oh, man, I I You know, I gotta ask you guys, it's a very, very partner question.
Um, ham or turkey? Turkey.
Oh, hand was meant for Christmas.
Who makes it like, if it's the regular dry turkey? No.
But if it's like, grew turkey, Yes, but if it is dry turkey or do you think that I will make a dry turkey? Yeah, I go ham.
I actually have a stake for Thanksgiving, so I'll take that as a steak Good.
Any day. The way I I think I can do that.
I don't mind creative meals for Thanksgiving.
I personally I'm not a big turkey fan.
I've been running that crusade the last couple of weeks here on on Twitter, if you've been paying attention.
But yeah, I'm a hand person.
I feel like, uh, you know, this whole you know, ham has to be on Christmas or Thanksgiving is a bunch of B s.
You know, it's it's ham's.
Better, infinitely better.
But that's not what we're here about.
I'm hoping you guys had a great Thanksgiving.
I eat a lot of food, watched a lot of great football, and, ah, you know what? It was a pretty good day, and I'm ready to finish off this week. 13.
So, um, a lot of stuff going on.
A lot of great games, Uh, today.
I mean, obviously tonight you got Houston and New England.
You have the Ravens and the 40 Niners.
It's just It's a long list of things that the Raiders and the Chiefs, of course, fighting for that A f c West lied.
So it's it's gonna be a lot of fun today, but, um, a few things up top, uh, Derwin James got activated for the Chargers.
Unfortunately for the Chargers, it seems a little too little, too late for them.
I think once again they've fallen out of the way through the race for the division or wild card.
Do you guys see anything changing for the Chargers at all.
No, I don't see it because, like you said, it's too late.
That team is what they They stunned the Packers, but yet they fall apart later.
The cheese there, microcosm of their quarterback like flashes of complete greatness in just a war just falls apart at then.
I think that James should just kind of just not take off the rest of the year, but kind of be careful, because those injuries will mount up.
And I'm thinking that this might be Phillips last go round in L. A.
Well, they they actually, I saw something this morning or late last night about there's there's rumblings that he might, if he continues to play poorly, get benched.
And that would certainly signify the end of Philip Rivers and not San Diego, but Los Angeles or wherever the hell they're playing in every weeks.
Um, yeah, so that's gonna be interesting to see.
And it's just it's one of those storylines that follows the Chargers each and every year.
It's injuries, injuries, injuries and underperformance.
So once again, same old story for the Chargers.
Another team in the NFC West, the Broncos.
They're going to get a new starting quarterback.
Drew Lock was activated off I r.
And Ah, I saw Ian Rapoport say that he will start today.
So a new quarterback ERA, this is John Elway's what, like eighth quarterback.
So he's over so far.
So let's let's let's hope that this is the one.
And look, I'm not giving him credit for Peyton Manning.
Let's let's be real here.
Anyone would have done well with Peyton Manning with that team.
So and again, half that team.
I wouldn't say half that team, but a good chunk of that core was drafted by the video head coaching staff in regime.
So I don't want to give John Elway too much credit.
But Syria's Drew luck.
What do you guys think? Roadblock is just not that guy. He's got.
He's got a strong arm, please, kind of.
He keeps track of all of that, but our rookie quarterback coming in his first game is in December, and you're playing at Denver, which is one of the most windiest one of the coldest city.
You complain you're already a star, yet you're clean.
Yet your first game is never sorry about that I don't see them.
This is kind of like a test to see if they have looked for him for tax free agency.
Or they could even go back to the draft like I don't know if Drew Lock has a lot of time to develop into gold.
But next year this is just kind of like a heart.
Let's see, what more could weapons you evaluation so well, it it's gonna be interesting.
Like you said, Ifit's John Elway can finally finally hit on a quarterback date.
I mean, like they have a pretty decent team in Denver.
It's just, It's always been, uh, riddled with quarterback uncer*****y.
And it's It's been that way since Peyton Manning left O R.
Since Peyton Manning lost his, you know, ability to be what he used to be, which was in his final season.
And again they wanted Super Bowl that year.
But really, the Broncos have been searching for that quarterback since then, Um, in a bit of ah, bad start.
Actually, this symbol unfortunate stories that came out of this weekend.
First of all, former NFL wide receiver Terrell Pryor was stabbed, and fortunately he's out of or he's out of critical care. He's still in the hospital.
However, this is obviously stemming from some domestic issue because he was arrested for simple assault.
Now his girlfriend was charged with attempted homicide.
So obviously, I think the most serious matter is in her, you know, in her hands.
But just unfortunate situation for a guy that has kind of had a really up and down career.
He had a grin of his loan. NFL highlights.
He had a 93 yard run against the Steelers, like when he was in Oakland as a quarterback, and that was people were upset when they release him because they thought he was a future.
They drafted Derek Carr.
It's sad to see him in this condition, but here's my thing.
If they were both charged, that means they could have both been mutual combatants.
And it's one of those things where you're hoping that he pulls through.
You don't want to see anybody getting knifed to death, but however this case shakes out, you want the best possible outcome for the individuals involved, like you want to make sure that if there are penalties to be ah, meat out to both parties, that they receive them? No.
And and that's the thing, it's just it's not.
It's not a good situation overall.
And, um, you know, I comment.
I said There's a couple of bad things and the other unfortunate and very untimely Very Ah, Terry Glenn Jr.
Obviously the son of former NFL wide receiver Terry Glenn, he was a cowboy.
He was a patriot who passed away a few years ago because of a car crash.
If I believe so, I might have misremembered that.
So if if I'm wrong, please correct me.
But his son's apparently died over the weekend because of an accidental overdose.
And if you look on his Twitter, the last thing he said was commenting about how he missed his dad being there for thanks.
I mean, it's it's just that it's a sad situation, sad for that family.
And, ah, you know anyone who's old enough to have watched Terry Glenn, you know, obviously I know I am.
I know Biggs is especially, uh, those early years with the Patriots and whatnot.
He was he was a hell of a talent with, you know, obviously issues off the field, but, um, you know, it's just it's just sat over all special over the holidays.
It is one of those things that I mean.
I can't imagine what went through his mind and what he had to end early.
Losing a parent seriously at such a young age.
You do what you say.
It was a car accident.
It just It's one of those things that people deal with grief in different ways.
And you would mean you feel sad for that whole family because now they have to loved ones who won't make it for another holiday.
One had, ah, longer like a little longer life in his child with his child was still not child.
His son was still in his early to mid twenties, and he just it said, It's one of those things that makes you makes you appreciate the good people around you In the time that you have on this Earth.
Yeah, it's and it's it's, you know, it always.
Obviously, Thanksgiving is and has been for several years now.
Ah, a reminder with the passing of a show on Taylor, how you know how life can just be taken away from us so suddenly and you know, every year around Thanksgiving.
You you're reminded of that story where, you know, he was just a innocent by standard and obviously a home invasion, and it obviously ended his life.
So, um, hopefully, you know, the Glen family is able to move past and kind of cope with everything pretty well.
So, um, moving on, though, Moving on.
I don't want to keep on too many, uh, negative, sad topics.
But I gotta ask you guys, everyone saw that photo of Freddie Kitchens wearing the Pittsburgh started it shirt.
I got to know what you guys think about it, because personally, I think it's it's this is coming from someone who watched Matt Patricia walk off a plane wearing Ah Goodell's clown.
Um, I think I think the situations are a little different.
I think there's a lot of similarities.
Um, I I think this by Freddie Kitchens.
I think I think it just screams everything that we've been talking about with him in terms of lack of leadership being way over his head.
I mean, that's a terrible look into his credit.
He admitted so, but it still doesn't change the fact that he thought it was a good idea.
The wear, that shirt when you know, obviously ahead of this Pittsburgh and Cleveland game coming up here today.
So, guys, what do you think? I feel free? Give your unedited opinion.
You're the head coach for the reason your five and six your team is nowhere near its expectations but projected You're not a good right now You're is.
And why? It's like, I always say, this reason why they catch them because he did well.
His offensive coordinator, Baker, had a great rookie season last year.
Almost one year you've got, like the point of being a head coach is to gain the respect, be the mature one, be humble and be hungry at the same time.
Don't start this nonsense because then you're gonna be the price for it.
Later, it's I don't breathe at all.
It's kind of enjoys me and seeing that I was from this year, the attitude of the trauma, we've had the things it's just annoying.
And that's just like, kind of like, yeah, go for I share the same.
I agree with the two of you.
It is Super Child is like the map Patricia wearing the Goodell on the shirt. That's funny.
I mean, I'm sorry.
That's funny to me.
It doesn't hurt anybody.
And it doesn't inflame a violent incident.
Matt Patricia bore no violent ill will toward Robledo.
He just said, You know, the man is a clown.
And I think, Look, I think a lot of people might agree with that, too.
So I mean, there's there's yes, but for Freddie Kitchens to sit there and throw that shirt on.
Your clown is It's embarrassing.
You you wouldn't see McDermott.
You wouldn't see grouping.
You wouldn't see.
Ah, Bella, check.
Do this like that led to an incident where somebody got beamed over the head with ah, helmet.
Whether you're like your player, you're I mean, you're a player.
Tried to didn't somebody's dome with a helmet.
And when we all thought we could have, you know, think of you know, theoretically, Yes, Mr Rudolph was a bit of an instigator, but no one deserves to have a helmet across the top of their skull.
And in a way, it tried to make light of situation.
Like what if Mesa Rudolph had like, a cranial fracture because of it.
Helmets? Ah, hard they hurt.
What if he called him instead of like would like the top of them or the crown? If you turned the helmet upside down and use it like this, that's not funny.
And it's one of those things where you have immature quarterback.
You have image for white receivers.
Apparently, you have immature defense alignment.
You have amateur team.
Dorsey is sitting here watching this like I mean, they are five and 16 like, Brennan said.
But there are five and 16 with 11 and five talent.
Yeah, easily, easily.
And that's the thing to it's like it.
It reeks of lack of self awareness and lack of of just awareness in general because I mean, like, again, regardless of who you thought or think started that Myles Garrett.
Obviously, I had the most egregious act in that whole thing.
It's why he is suspended indefinitely, and that was upheld.
So no matter how you shake it, it's just it's just a terrible look.
And again, I think I think personally they'd be better off just moving on and just realizing, hopefully realizing that look, we made a mistake Let's not let this sit any longer.
Let's just pull that.
You know, Carol, you know the Cardinals Perfect example.
They realize they made a mistake hiring Steve Wilkes.
They cut bait after one year.
Doesn't happen often, but you got to realize when you're just in a little, it's a lost cause.
And I think Freddie Kitchens Is that so? Um, we'll see.
I mean, uh, it's gonna be an interesting ah rematch coming out here, but, um, real quick, I'm gonna run down some injury news because we got some T Y Hilton out again that that's a big blow for Indianapolis.
Um, it's just one of those guys he sees when he's healthy and on the field.
He's one of the best receivers in the league, and unfortunately, he has been missing quite a bit lately.
Uh, Jason recorded for the Patriots out again.
Adam feeling is questionable for Monday.
Mrs breaks this happen 139 consecutive games with a concussion.
He will be out for president today, So not that the Redskins air in it.
But you know that's a lost cause.
Ryan Kerrigan is a good player, and obviously you know, 139 games is nothing Thio, especially as a linebacker.
Nothing to Scott that for sure.
So, um, what's help? It's up.
I have, like, three different notes, so I'm bouncing back and forth between all these pages.
Dalvin Cook popped up on the injury report.
He is questionable heading into that Minnesota game and, of course, Tom Brady, his elbow popped up once again, but he should be all right.
So, guys, um, I'm excited for this weekend.
I like I said, I think it's laid out perfectly.
You have a great one o'clock lineup.
Obviously, I lighted by the 40 Niners and Ravens.
You have the Sunday night game between Houston and New England.
At four o'clock you have Oakland and the Kansas City Chiefs vying for that A F c Yeah, there you go.
There you go, Big vying for that a f c West lead.
And it's it's very possible that the Raiders could be ah, sitting on top of that bite days.
And so, um, but first, before we get to that, I do wanna I do wanna cause there's another team and I talked about the Colts.
You know, losing T y.
Helen's gonna be a big blow.
They have an opportunity with the Houston Texans playing the playing the Patriots tonight to gain some ground and gained control of that division.
However, there's another team that's kind of just poking their head back into this race.
And that's the Tennessee Titans.
And part of the huge reason for that is Thea.
Let's say reemergence of of one Ryan Tannehill.
And we all know one guy, one person mutually that we work with.
That is a a huge Ryan Tannehill fan, so I don't want to get, you know, I'm not gonna give him too much credit.
But ah, Tyler Kating.
He's been on the Tannehill bandwagon for quite some time.
In fact, he is Thea, I think, president of the Ryan Tannehill Fan Club.
And that's not to be disputed.
So, um, look, I mean, since he look, since he's been in since he's been in, I I have the numbers here.
I'm pulling him up like I said, very, very unorganized.
But the Titan's air foreign one, um, marry Yoda was obviously ah, holding them back in a way because he was just playing very, incredibly portly.
This is a terrible attempt at trying to stall while I look for these numbers that I had.
But look, the point is, Ryan Tannehill has been fantastic in his five starts.
He looks like an NFL quality quarterback.
You look at his numbers throughout.
I think he's around 10 touchdowns passing three rushing touchdowns to 10 touchdowns, Air second or third only behind Lamar Jackson.
Um, you know, the passing yardage is up there.
His quarterback rating of 100 I want to say 11 or 12 in that span is also one of the best in the league, only behind the Mark Jackson.
So, um, whoever wants to answer first, I'm gonna ask, you should should the Titans seriously consider him a a somewhat long term solution? And I'm not just talking about a bridge quarterback, but but a guy that they can tried out there for the next several years because he seems to, you know, I don't I don't think anyone's ever disputed his talent.
It's just that through ah, couple injuries and just not being able to play consistently.
I think it's really hurt him.
But do you guys think he could be the answer for Tennessee? Because clearly it's not markets. Mario.
Yeah, I think it's on the Tennessee Titans.
Okay, so So here's the thing with Danielle.
If first of all, if he wins today, he gets his 500 career record as a starter.
And, if untested times, I evaluate the next five games.
So they have to play the Colts, the Raiders, Texans twice and nor on Saints.
One thing that those things have in common, they're all about 502 of home are getting more like would be in the class, maybe even three, or even on for who knows, Even if you get the Titans.
Don't necessarily win those games.
You have value in Tanana and see how he performs only 31.
So he's still relatively young for the court in our position.
Give him a one a two year deal.
Let it be that bridge quarterback that most teams have to go through before the draft or rookie quarterback hoping that their future.
I'm thinking that if you drop this quarterback, he can work something from Tannehill.
It's not best player overall, but he knows a thing or two.
He's been in the league and he went any.
He inherited this Tennessee offense.
Who's got talent around him, and he's You lost it.
You can't deny it.
The bond The Titans look to see how he does individually against these next five games.
If he does enough, keep him for 1 to 2 years.
But then you're You eventually have to go get a quarterback, either in free agency or if they do it.
The draft, Whether it's next year of year after itinerary, we're bringing, I think that I would spend it somewhat sideways where, just like he said, I would sigh intended heel toe, a two year deal.
But I would front load it for next year, which means that he has started next year.
But with that said, I would also draft a quarterback next year, so just like he said, he's a bridge, so he'll get enough rope to see if this was a Jeremy Lin situation.
We just came in hot and just captivated the team and kind of you know, brought them into the playoff hunt or if it was just a you know, like something offered something more long term.
He's worth a two year deal, but nothing where you are breaking the bank.
Given that 10 $12 million a year, like I said, make it so It's all front loaded, so the majority of it falls next year.
So if the bridge quarterback is ready by the end of 2020 you can kind of push him along and kind of get him some rips.
I I think he's good for right now, like it's gonna so bad.
But it's not like it's tight, you know? He may not be Mr right.
He's pretty much Mr right now.
Yeah, it's fair.
Well, uh oh, God, you got to kind of ride the hot hand.
Well, that's the thing, too.
I feel like the Titans are a team that's built to at least come for a playoff division title, especially in that a F C South.
So even now and then the next couple of years, So I feel like they have to take advantage of that.
And when you have a quarterback that I think is good enough to win you some games and a defense.
That's that's pretty good and some some talent on that team.
I do like Mike Rabel as a coach.
So, um, you know, we'll see.
But I think they should take a hard look at him and not, you know, think about trying to jump.
I mean, obviously you're always thinking about if you're smart organization, you're always thinking about the future and evaluating quarterbacks, especially.
But I don't think that they should make a concerted effort to grab their quarterback of the future next year, I think, or even in the year after, I think you find the right one and just ride Tannehill until you can.
But again, maybe I'm just reacting to the very small sample size, but it's not like he had an opportunity otherwise, too, you know, show anything because he had been injured, But I like it said, Well, it'll be interesting to see, but, uh, so like I said, we have a couple questions. One concern.
See Bills and the Raiders, and we will get to that in just But Bill's already played this weekend and guess what? They won again and they beat the Cowboys.
So this'd isn't just question isn't so much here towards the Bills, but it's geared more towards the Cowboys because, um, way saw, uh, Sherry Jones say that he's not letting go.
Jason Garrett the sea in season.
But he certainly didn't give any ringing endor*****t.
And he has his concerns, and we know that Jerry Jones is the Dallas Cowboys.
So, um, even with the Philadelphia Eagles win today, uh, that would tie them at atop the NFC East at six and six, Theo Cowboys would still control their own destiny.
How much? What's your confidence level in the Cowboys winning the NFC East? Because they looked like a team that, um, early on looked like Okay, they turned the corner.
But as we moved along in the season, it became very clear that they beat bad teams and could not beat good teams.
So, uh, what's your confidence level that guys go out there? It's good.
Um lo I see that like I think we're winning division because of who's in.
It's more of the last call pizza.
It's a wonder you're you know, you've had a couple of your hungry.
You wanna have some tea before you kind of lay down with whatever you just drank and you will find me greasy pizza spot.
And you know what? It's the best of a bad situation.
Dominoes at 3 30 in the morning.
Yes, the NFC East is the best of a bad singer.
It's It's the best of that situation.
That's what the Cowboys are.
They they're they're win by the fault because the Eagles aren't impressing the body.
I don't believe so.
I think that Philadelphia sneaks up on Lee because of the strength of schedule.
The Eagles have to play the Dolphins that joins the Redskins, and then they're facing the Cowboys in Philadelphia.
That's you couldn't ask for a better set of our team.
That is just a way of performing.
You couldn't ask for anything about the Cowboys have to go up against the little Fiat.
They have to play the Rams.
They have to go to Chicago, and then they got to the rescue.
So you're looking at maybe two wins.
Philadelphia could win all four if they really wanted to, as they should.
If they like Eagles.
Okay, Eagle's opponents have a combined record of quote 33.
The Cowboys stress points 19 and 26.
The Eagles have an easier path.
It's a close divisional.
Dak Prescott is not a $40 million quarterback.
He can play, but he's not gonna If you don't rely on Prescott before quarter, just turn off the TV and go to bed, All right, I don't see Dac coming up big in that type of moment, and I think that Carson Wentz, This is the motivation for Bill Adelphia to get that division.
So I don't think Dallas wins this division.
Yeah, you know, I I almost feel like I'm leaning towards Brandon's, uh, point on this one, because it has nothing to do with confidence.
I haven't but more so the just the strength of schedule.
Now again, the Eagles could win all for those games, but they could also lose two of them.
And then then, of course, then it would be moot, and they probably lose the division.
But this team is just it's it's.
It's hard to not take account, take into account the number of injuries they've had.
Especially offensively, however, this team is.
There's a lot more issues beyond just injuries.
There's a lot of, uh, underperforming across, you know, the entire roster.
So again, I'm not.
I'm not going to say like Noah's.
Long as they get healthy, they'll be fine.
No, I think they could still have some issues.
But that schedule is just so I mean appealing.
Unless the Red rocket in Cincinnati comes, comes around, turns turns, turns their season around.
I don't I don't see it happening.
So I almost feel like the cowboys.
Just I mean, I just Yeah, I'm losing losing a lot of faith in the Cowboys because they're not even doing things that they were good at before.
They're not running the ball.
Well, they're not getting their.
Their strength of their team has been built, especially through their offensive line.
And they're nothing more than just a a mediocre toe. Okay, Unit.
And that doesn't work for this team.
They need that that force up front, they need that that solid line.
So, um, you know, You know what? I'm gonna agree with breading on this one.
I don't think that they're gonna end up winning this division, and it has nothing to do with Ah, how I think, because I don't think the Eagles are a good team, either, but they I think they're ceilings a little bit higher, get healthy.
So, uh, next question I have.
And this is, um, somewhat related to the counter.
Where is related to the Cowboys opponent is the Bills.
So, the Bills in the Raiders last week we talked a lot about how excited we were for the Raiders, the opportunity they had.
Move t play the chief's this week with identical records.
And they laid a massive dud that you can tell by Terrence hanging his head.
He's acknowledging it.
Um, what was more impressive to use the bill's beating the Cowboys? Or was it more? I'm sorry. Let me rephrase that.
Was it more impressive to you that the Bills beat the Cowboys, or are you more disappointed in the Raiders performance last week? I know it's a loaded question, but I figured it was a good, good ones.
So I'll start with Terrence because I think he wants to get something off his chest.
I was more disappointed in the rate is off.
The bills are for real, and I wasn't sure they want to go into Dallas and smell the Cowboys like this.
I thought they would win, but not like destroy the Cowboys on national TV.
What they've given. Thank you, Buffalo.
But the Raiders just They faced a team with just not much as far as an offense, but yet you had Braxton Barrios, former Patriot, great for like a minute and 1/2.
Take a pass on Swenton, go 69 yards.
You can't have fourth and fifth receivers who have called at the hands of the entire year.
Go 69 yards and don't score them.
He didn't score.
He just just run seven yard.
And it's in indicative of what the problems are on this team.
The defense outside of Max Crosby, the left offensive end defenses trash.
They have the worst linebackers in football by a mile.
Tahir Whitehead should not be anywhere near a sub package, but I think I think that the Raiders, if they don't win today, this seals Derek Carr's fate.
As far as this is the biggest game of his entire career, he's oh, in six at Arrowhead.
For context, Carson Palmer as a Raider was too No worse.
JaMarcus Russell is to win.
Oh, now at Arrowhead.
Don't say that now fax their car.
This is the biggest game of his entire pro career, and it's right that the Chiefs do not have a strong defense.
All you're hoping for for Oakland is score 31 hoping the defense only gives up there.
He's going like this.
We'll go find him.
This is one of those watershed moments all on the table for him.
And if he doesn't perform well, this seals his fate as far as a fan base.
He's done well, and that's a lot of that pressure is due to the fact that you didn't take care of job against the Jets, you could you could have won against the Jets and then had come into this game with a lot more, Ah, leeway in terms of how, with the ultimate outcome come.
So so Brandon, also to you.
What do you think? More impressed with the Bills or more disappointed in the Ravens are Raiders.
So first of all, I got I got to start off this segment shot out and get a 9% is completed, 231 years of custom adding one on the ground.
That man is becoming gene.
Quarterback for Buffalo on corner right now. Second year.
Right now that kid is mentally and physically tough.
It showed you on 1/4.
Valerie Fumbled, picked up the ball and he didn't.
And then he driving the thunder with him over a lot of scratch.
I'm more impressed.
So I was more surprised that the Bills were consistent defensively. Bon surprised.
They want more surprise with Jets.
Jets win over the radio.
If you look at these numbers, the Raiders gave up 21 1st house against this offense.
That's just sometimes can't get going.
The Raiders just a closed over 200 total yards.
They completed 33% that place on third downs.
And here's what's crazy, Josh.
Jacob's only 10 cares for 34 yards, Josh.
Yeah, that was a leading.
You could make a case for his empty p type of season.
You could make a little bit of the case.
I'm very surprised that the Raiders didn't just lose. They got crushed.
You know, I projected the justice that I was being upset.
I didn't think it was gonna be David versus Goliath.
And who would have thought that the Jets would have been the big dog on top of their self? A blue, the Jets over the Raiders? Yeah, and I actually, this is gonna be a clean sweep.
I I agree, because I think we all and we've talked about it.
We all are impressed by the bills.
And look, I was I was impressed by their victory.
No doubt I didn't think that going blow out the Cowboys.
But just the fact that that the Raiders had this golden opportunity to really, really sees Caesar sees a great opportunity to take control of division.
And you come out against a look.
Give the Jets credit.
They've been playing better as of late.
The offense has been playing better, saying, Donald obviously is playing a little bit better.
Um, he's not the best quarterback in the NFC East, according to finish matter, but, you know, again, he's kind of whatever, but, uh, dork.
I mean, I don't I don't I don't want to get into that, but, uh, but I I yet, but I agree.
I think that the Raiders lost was far more disappointing in the long run because, I mean, they still have the opportunity today and into Terry's point.
I think they can redeem themselves.
I think this is the Derrick Car's biggest game of his career of his Oakland career because, like, if you can't go in and make a statement and win this game, um, when are you ever going to do it? And ah, this against this late in the season, having an opportunity to take this division, you got to come through.
And if Derek Carr can't, then I think Terry might be right.
You might wanna consider moving on.
So we're gonna move on, though, because that's that's what we do.
We try to move on and take care of the sick way.
Yes, exactly the great segue way.
Um, like, So I figured we'd do symbol a couple bold predictions that will get into our profits because we do that before we do our regular predictions.
And, um so actually, you know what? No.
I'm thrown a curve ball.
We're gonna do prop.
That's first, because it kind of works better with how I'm gonna do my bold predictions.
So, um, I you know, it kind of it wouldn't make sense do it backwards, because I have a few that are fairly related.
So I'm gonna start now something I didn't mention before.
But it looks like Mohammad Sanu and Philip Door set are going to be good to go for the Patriots.
So for the first time, in what seems like forever, the Patriots are going to be playing in a fair weather condition, obviously, inside a dome with their full complement of weapons.
And they're starting left tackle.
Uh, so there's gonna be a lot of opportunity for the Patriots offense to to make a statement in this game.
You know, they've obviously heard a lot about the lackluster play.
Again, I've defended it much, but over Under, and Tom Brady's had a lot of success against this Texans team throughout the years.
I mean, it's pretty much as as you can.
You can bet it's a safe of a bet as any that Tom Brady is gonna get his against the Houston Texans.
So I'll ask you.
He averages 287 yards a game against this team.
He hasn't hit that mark.
He's only hit that mark once in the last three games, he's come fairly close, and obviously he's Tom Brady today.
You know, I'm gonna say over.
I think that New England, as much as I give praise to tax, is trying to build behind a young quarterback.
It's still Tom Brady's, the grandfather and lots of little kid coming up on the gravel always wins, and I think that he doesn't have any evidence to seven.
I'll get 300 so I'm gonna go over, Okay.
Oh, I go way over for this whole effect that I'll I'll keep it.
The Raiders traded their former lead corner are gearing Congress to the Texans The week that they were playing the Texans, that means they had no faith, and Gary and Conley being a started hearing colleagues roasted constantly.
Tom Brady will find Number 21 pick on him and make him pay for I think Tom Brady goes 3 75 All right, Okay.
Look, I I obviously agree, and I I alluded to the fact that part of my bold prediction is going to involve some of these over under bats or something similar.
So I'm taking the over and I will elaborate on that a little bit later.
So, uh, who's got one? Those one Give us.
I got one bold prediction over the steel over under, over, under and facing a in facing a stout Vikings defense.
I think that Di Kate Metcalf is one of those players where he's a boomer bus project where he has all the physical gifts because you've seen him.
But there are mental lapses and I think playing against a Mackenzie Alexander in exurbia roads guys like this who are going to try to disrupt his patterns over under three drops for decay.
Metcalf, I'm gonna stay under.
I think that men, I think you're gonna see a lot more involvement in that.
Caf? And I think that because you have the NBC again, Russell Wilson thrown the ball.
The accuracy is there, and I think because a lot of people are saying that this Minnesota secondary can shut you down it granted they can.
I'm not saying you can't, but when you're facing up against someone who has beaten you the last five times, you face him.
When he's getting new weapons around him, I don't think that Kath is gonna be trumped by the secondary, I think. Wilson.
Good women. Good position.
The only madcap drops it is.
It really goes right through his hands.
That's the only way your bomber to go under.
Who, Uh, You know, I'm gonna get I'm gonna live a little dangerously here.
I want I'm gonna I'm gonna go against the grain, and I'm gonna stay over.
Um, you know, I think I I think he had a reputation coming into the league for obviously someone who had struggled to catch the ball at times.
And I think at times, that has shown throughout the season.
So I think he's performed well.
But again, I do think that Minnesota defense will give him trouble.
Uh, and look, I'm going.
Like I said, I'm going.
I'm gonna go a little crazy and say he's gonna get over.
Only four traps.
I got three guys, so I'm restore her stick stick with same gang.
Oh, same game. Okay.
Russell Wilson in space.
The Minnesota Like he's five times in his career.
Once in the playoffs, he's five. You know against that.
Minnesota has big muscles.
Russell Wilson never passed for over 300 yards over this Vikings defense over under that he does that today.
I'll say under just because I think it plays into, uh, just how I think the offense might struggle against this Minnesota defense.
And obviously, if d K.
Metcalf drops four passes and you know that that's an issue, I mean, that's that's a lot of passes.
So I'm gonna say under, I'm going to stay under.
I'm going to say under I think that other new hunter on the outside is gonna be a the problem as well built as the Seahawks have tried with the offensive line, Hunter is an elite pass rusher and he's gonna force early throes.
He's gonna four throwaways.
I think that the Seahawks, well, Lou will talk with the gay prediction, but I think that 300 maybe a lot against that defense, I'm gonna greet the reason why put it up.
There is President Wilson's got the magic, but I am gonna go under.
But I'll give you 75 you know, which would eclipse his career high against Minnesota.
So I'm gonna go under.
I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if he went over three.
I mean, it's certainly within it.
Waited in his capabilities.
I just don't think it's going to happen.
So we talked earlier about Freddie Kitchens and, of course, Thea.
Big rematch involving players.
I don't even wanna play.
Um, obviously, Myles Garrett has been suspended, and Mason Rudolph has been benched.
So that game penalties overall in that game and grossed over 200 yards.
And totally, actually, I think it didn't go over 200 yards in a penalty yardage.
So, um, the rematch today over under 12 and 1/2 penalties in this game jumping.
I think that that is over because the shirt that constant brown running there miles and there's ah, underrated aspect of others his butt do pre hasn't has Ah, under the under cover history of taking brutal shots at quarterbacks will take the extra two steps and lay into a quarterback to be a chest head.
It's not right. I'm not.
I'm not condoning, but he has a history of doing it.
He's been fine multiple times.
I think that he takes a shot at Baker Mayfield like he takes a not just a regular football play, he takes a shot, and I think that that itself will incur multiple penalties.
So I think I'll take the over.
I'm gonna take a layover.
I think this game is this game is just a regular season game.
They're gonna be watching, like, guaranteed more than, like, great between rival teams.
There's no good blood.
How long is it gonna be made? It's It's just tryingto it's just Yeah, I'm gonna take the older because, like, this game, just give me if someone got hurt and someone got hurt.
I wouldn't be surprised.
Fortunate, just because the way these two teams are going about the last incident, so I'm gonna save you over.
Well, I This is why I'm not.
I'd lined center because I'm taking the over a CZ Well, and, uh, look like the Browns are horribly undisciplined team as it is.
So if they don't need the Steelers or a past incident to be undisciplined, and they could very well get 14 penalties on their own, So yeah, I'm taking the over on this one.
I do think it's going to get a little, very chippy.
Ah, almost instantly, because again you think about some of these A f C North battles anyways, you know, think about all the Steelers and Bangles, ones that were just like right off the I mean, if there was fighting in football, this would be the equivalent of starting a hockey game and just two players dropping the gloves to settle the score.
Because that's that's kind of how these games play out.
So I see something similar again in this game, and I'll take the way over.
So so, naturally, our timing has been, has been terrible, all show in terms of trying to keep a.
I had a whole lineup of what we're gonna fit in what time? So we're behind schedule a little bit, but that's fine.
That's OK, because you know we can kind of do we want, but real quick.
You guys want to give me one more, uh, over under, and we'll move on to the next one because I I do like this segment.
But I do have some other fun stuff.
James White, the if he's playing, I see the over under us Harvard, the number of touches 12 I.
I think he gets at least 12 touches.
I like his game, but he is the prototypical pass receiving back.
And you gotta love that.
He fits his role perfectly.
Always provides positive yardage.
I love that guy.
I hate the pages, but I love that guy.
That's a It's a It's a good number because, like, like I said, I mean, they're gonna They're gonna, like, for the first time, have a full complement of their weapons who is currently on the roster with Harry and obviously Seenu in Dorset returning in good weather.
So, uh, I wanna I'm gonna take the under because I I just I feel like the ball is going to be spread quite a bit.
Um bye, Brady by, uh, this team.
So I think he's gonna not quite get to that number, But it does.
It's not going to say he's not gonna have impact on this game.
I think he will.
I'm gonna say over I think that what they said to keep it is real perfectly.
I think that he's gonna be the one consistent, um, receiver running back wherever you want to call him.
I trusted more than study.
Michelle obviously trusted one. Rex Burkhead.
so I think if they get the balls and quickly, what could make some place in the field? Ah, and Brandy, you got one more.
So I'm gonna go to a game of the week.
Uh, we're seeing Nick Bos s 08 sacks on the year.
He's second on team I inherit Armstead Sacks Lamar Jackson.
Not once, but twice today, I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say over.
I'm sorry, I'm not twice.
I'm going to say over and this is This is I have to pretty bold predictions that better coming up here in a minute.
And this is going to kind of play into one of them.
Um, I just I love this 40 Niners defense.
I love their front.
Um, I think the Ravens are really good.
Ah, by just getting on a really hot I mean, teams get on a hot streak there on the hottest of hot streaks, but they're not throwing.
They've been able to be shut down.
And there's a trunk in the middle of season where, you know, they had a guy wants a pedestrian, but far less explosive offense and what they have now, So, um, and when you go up against what I think is the second best defense in the league and your struggle.
So, um, yeah, I I'll take.
I'll take that. I'll take the over, I think.
Yeah, I like it.
I don't think the over as well.
I One thing you really quick about Nick Bosa when he gets by the tackle, he's so disciplined where he won't fly so far a field where he creates of like, ah, vacated Lane.
He actually stays discipline in his pursuit.
He gets three. Yep.
I like I must say, I'm gonna take the over.
I think that Lamar Jackson to be humbled today.
I'm not seeing a great player, but it's time for him to run to a little bit brick wall and think that for diners are not long.
Well, and I guess that this I was gonna say this one second, we're gonna move jump right into bold predictions before we give our regular predictions that we will usually in the show.
It's so, um, my bold prediction one of them.
And and like I said, I was going to say this one second, but, um, where is it? Okay.
San Francisco is going to.
Okay, so Lamar Jackson has been held under 60 yards rushing only twice this year.
Uh, and it was twice in the 1st 3 weeks in the first game in season, he only attempted three for six yards.
So clearly there was no attempt for him to get 60 yards or any sort of a huge gain on the ground.
Um, and he's thrown fewer than 100 60 yards in a game once.
I think Lamar Jar San Francisco holds him under both those numbers today and like you said, a very humbling game.
So he's gonna get under 60 yards rushing and under 160 yards passing.
And what's gonna be a pretty, ah, rough game for him in that offense? I agree with you. On that.
I got I got Lamar rushing for no more than 50 yards, so I maybe it wasn't.
I like the flash of the quarterback, But this 40 100 defense is going to be their biggest challenge yet, Like they may know, even look like a P B squad.
And I think for your daughters have a much stronger front four right now anyways, so I'll take that you like that big thing? Is that not bold enough? I feel like that might not have been bold enough.
I think we might all agree on this one.
I think we're good, man.
Listen, I Oh, my God.
I think we are are all in agreement.
Okay, What's that moment? Well, okay, the reasoning is again.
You know, you can't get any hotter than what the what the Ravens have done the last three weeks.
But, you know, again, this is This kind of speaks to the what have you done for me now? Lately? And the, you know, live in the moment mentality that a lot of media and fans have, and it's like, Oh, great, they've been awesome for three weeks.
Ah, very impressive win against New England.
And that's kind of, you know, if you have a big one against the Patriots, that generally sparks the best team in the league talk and then rightfully so, Okay, whatever it happens.
But you look to the middle of their schedule where they lost a couple of games and that offense was, you know, it was okay.
It wasn't this otherworldly offense.
You can see there's some inconsistencies so it can certainly, Ah, it can certainly.
Ah change So bold prediction.
Who's next? I got only you Got a bottle and facing the Carolina Panthers, by the way happens.
DeWayne hasn't with Rafferty three types. Sounds.
It's a gut feeling where I am moved by the visual of him, standing on the sideline, talking offense of line, and they're just looking like this.
They're like Fist, they don't care.
And I, in effect that when they won, he was out there celebrating with the crowd.
That means this this kid gets it.
He really wants to be in Washington life, don't know, but he really wants to play for them.
And I think that that energy is gonna mean the Panthers are pretty much done.
What Ron Rivera like.
He pretty much had Camden and killed, basically, like his career like uninjured.
I think that Haskins captures a little bit of lightning in throws for three scores.
I like it and looked to the Redskins Ah, car or the fans credit.
They have a terrible franchise, but incredible fan base.
I mean, Redskins fans are an interesting bunch, but they love their they love their teams.
So, uh, yeah, I I like that.
I'll be interested to see if he can.
You know, this is a little bit of a coming out game here.
What do you got? Yeah, I could see it now.
I could see an accident.
I like dependence defense a little bit, but Haskins wants to win.
He wants to prove that he could take this franchise by the horns and make a statement.
You know, you may not win, but if you can, you can do individual production.
You can't blame it on, you know, bold prediction.
I think, Um, first win of the season.
Facing off against the New York Jets, Antigone is what is now the starter coming back there in Cincinnati.
The Bengals win in overtime, folks, is further along my further along my prediction.
So, what do you guys think? Ah, I won't give away too much, because I I do want to give my score in, uh, the pick section.
But I You know what? I kind of agree.
I feel like this is gonna be one of those.
Look, Andy Dalton's back, you know, they're going to catch a little Ah, catch a little luck and, uh yeah, you know what? I I can't I can't disagree with that.
I can't fight you on that with that.
I mean, the red rifle got hate.
That nickname is.
I mean, they're they're all in just a win.
At least one, they get their one.
I think I like it.
So, um, I do want to I do want to throw out one more bold prediction here because I do want to get to the game picks because they only have a few minutes left, and I don't want overlap.
We have full press coverage of fantasy football show with Kyle.
Son are coming up here at 11.
So I don't want overlap too much here, but and I alluded to this earlier because I do think the Patriots offense it's gonna show up and show up big today.
Um, Tom Brady and I have a feeling this isn't gonna be as bold as I originally thought, because I feel like you guys might maybe not go as far as I do, but you know, you can see it.
I think Tom Brady throws for over 400 yards today and four touchdowns again, I I think a lot of people have a a a misguided view of what he is right now.
And a lot of it has to do with the mouth breathers on on TV.
Just about if you pay attention, my Twitter.
I spend most of my day, uh, combating that.
So check it out at a I G l e and 31.
I enjoy it, but no, I think they show up and they show up big.
The last week they trotted out Julian Edelman and an undrafted wide receiver and, uh, undrafted free agent of rookie and Camille Aires, who is obviously making a second start of his NFL career.
So two rookies and Julian Edelman were there, receiving corps in in the pouring rain This'll Week.
They have wide receivers and perfectly controlled indoor temperatures in Houston.
So, uh, Tom Brady shows up big.
This often shows up big, and that's obviously gonna lead to a pretty big win for this team.
I can't get the visual of the Texans wearing a Letterman's jacket out of my head, a ruin diner up in a few years? No.
But that that will go down in the all time corniest thing in the history of courting like you're a grown man.
Why are you wearing a Letterman jacket? You're on, Adam.
I mean, why? And then you go, You talk all this noise and that Patriot hang crooked numbers on your back and beat you sideway.
I couldn't that canceled him for me as a franchise until they get, like, a complete change at the top.
It Patriots go over huge humor, say, understand.
Comrade throws for four touchdowns, but doesn't clips over 400.
I'm just going to say that I don't think he reaches that mark just yet.
So But I do see before Customs out absolutely well, I think.
And here's the thing, too.
I mean, at 42 years old, he leads the league in pass attempts, which is his speaks volumes.
And yeah, the touchdown numbers aren't there.
But we can argue for all day about the difference between throwing at the five or three yard line versus handing the ball off which the Patriots do quite a bit.
So I don't want to hear about the touchdown totals.
But the fact that his age that he's still throwing as often as he is, Uh, tells me he's he's perfectly fine, and I think in a much more ideal situation, given his his talent around him, both wide receiver wise and at the left tackle position in particular.
And, of course, the environment.
I think again this is gonna be a A a stark and humbling reminder to a lot of people out there who were thinking, Yep, this is finally the year that he falls off and to t big this point about the Letterman jacket that I made a comment on Twitter this week about the Ravens like, yeah, you know, what they're doing is great.
But, you know, they could go on and win the Super Bowl and, you know, do what hurled Comets says, and all that stuff.
And Or they could be the Houston Texans, which they walked in.
You know, big, big guys 14 into Letterman jackets and, like Terence said, uh, just got but smack steamrolled.
So look good for the Ravens there, playing really good football right now, I I if I'm if I'm a Ravens fan, I don't necessarily like that, you know, we're gonna be in the Super Bowl comment, because again, I think that tells me they're buying a little bit too much into their own hype.
And that could hurt them in the long run.
But, um, we'll see.
But so game picks.
Because again, we're I said, we're gonna take about.
We're two minutes away from what are normal.
It's so we're going to run through him Republican and try toe be as right as possible.
So we talked about Titans, Colts, Colts hosting the Titans in this one.
I think the Titans show up big against a limited coltsoffense 24 to 10.
Tennessee Titans 14.
Attempt Colt 17. 14.
All right, I like it. So, yeah.
Got a lone wolf, right? Is that what they say on NFL live? Our network? You don't You don't get any wolf masks in that ba*****t, do you? I mean, look, I don't have no, I don't have a ba*****t anymore.
But I know ba*****ts are good for just having the most random crafting home.
So, um, my ba*****t is the ocean, so unfortunately, so jets and Bangles and and I we already know who's Brandon thinks is going to win this game, but I happen to agree with him.
I think, uh, Andy Dalton gets the Bengals their first win 28 to 25 against the Jets, 27 15 Bangles.
Clean, sweet tangles getting their win.
Well, it's just what you score on the whole, though.
2017 in overtime.
Okay. All right. All right.
Oh, yeah, that's right.
You said that already. I forgot just to remind the audience.
So I remember when I was I was asking you for the rest of the audience.
So Redskins heading to Carolina.
I think the Redskins are going to win this game.
I think it's gonna be close, but, you know, again, Yeah, I think it's gonna be a Redskins victory.
I'm gonna say the Panthers, 24 to 21 29 20.
Washington are right.
And the biggest game of the day, perhaps the biggest game of the season.
When the time will tell the 40 Niners heading to Baltimore to take on the Ravens.
I have the 40 Niners winning 38 Earth.
31 2 20 I think that Ravens will score touchdown late.
So I think this is gonna be a pretty, uh, dominant 40 Niners victory where they're gonna be leading for if not the entirety of the game.
Mostly Game 49 28 21 Okay.
So we got Ah, yeah.
Hey, 40 Niners moving to 11 to 1.
Ravens will be good for the Patriots to them to lose.
So that's what I'm going for.
The Battle of Central Florida.
Um, uh, I have I mean, what I have the Jaguars winning this game.
I think this is gonna be a nick full game.
I don't know why I look the Buccaneers offense.
We know what it is.
It's it's it's it's incredible boom and terrible bust.
And I think we're gonna get a lot of bust against this game against this team.
And I think the Jaguars win 17 to 14.
Buccaneers 31 28.
Jacksonville calls to nine and 19 since the 2017 championship game.
It Doug Marrone does not produce.
Yes, they were the Ravens before the Chiefs were the Ravens before the Chiefs were the chief.
So Ah, yes, Just a reminder to everyone that just because you have a good regular season doesn't mean it's gonna last forever.
Biggs, what do you think? 32 12 bucks.
I think that their front seven gets home again.
Another five ***.
All right, So game of the ah wrestling match, Her main event.
However, you want to call it the hard core match of the of the weekend.
We got the Browns heading to Pittsburgh.
I got the Pittsburgh Steelers with Duck Hodges making his Ah, well, making a start, not his NFL debut.
Obviously, he's started in played before, but with Duck Hodges, I think they just I I think this is gonna be a bad day in Cleveland because I just it's gonna get ugly.
I think they're gonna be undisciplined, Take a lot of penalties and the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to roll 27 to 13.
Cleveland 36 Pittsburgh 13.
How called Big big Blowout.
It's Pittsburgh 35 Cleveland 30 I love a man that would that would be great.
That would be fantastic.
What a Packers at Giants and trust me, I I I would love love to pick against packers in this one.
But even I am not that bold because the Giants are just They're the giant.
So I think the packers win this one 31 toe the 13 Packers 24 14 and robbers throws for over 400 yards because he's a bad man.
Am I right? Yeah.
You'll You mean You mean he's gonna shuttle off to the running back and his wide receivers and they're gonna run? Coming? Okay.
I buy it because you know what? That's that's That's what the advanced numbers say he does.
And that's all they can do right now.
I could go with that.
Actor story three.
Giants 32 wow. Okay. All right.
It's like you go wins it.
You know, in spite of Rogers, I'm sure Aaron Jones the best on the Packers.
Yes, we'll do the bullet a wrong? Yes, yes, exactly.
So eagles at the Dolphins again.
I'd like to pick, actually.
You know what? No, no, I'm not gonna do it.
Um, a cz much is.
I'm not As much as I don't have faith in the Eagles, I have enough faith in them to beat the Dolphins.
I think they win.
It's gonna be ugly.
I think it's gonna be something like 17 to 10 Philadelphia.
I'm gonna say Eagles shut out the dolphin's 17.
All right, Okay.
I saw work that's going like it.
All right, So, rams at the Cardinals.
I think this is gonna be fascinating, because I think we might have some different different opinions on this, or we might all agree on this.
I have the Cardinals winning at home against the Rams because I think the Rams air just a what? What? The kids call a hot mess right now, and I just don't think it's gonna get any better.
Um, yeah, I I just I see the cardinals winning this one.
It's gonna be 28 28 to 13.
Say the Cardinals, 26 2 20 26 20.
Clean sweep by doing 16.
I have no faith in the Ram to do anything that just tells me that we're all incredibly, incredibly smart.
So and no one can tell us otherwise, unless but which means that the Rams are probably gonna win today, and then we'll have to live with that or just never bring it up again.
So moving on Broncos, hosting the Chargers and Drew locks first start.
I think the Broncos beat the Chargers because this again is a team that I have absolutely zero faith in.
Derwin James isn't gonna be enough.
I think the Broncos surprised because, look, they have a pretty decent team.
I think again, once again, their quarterback has been the issue, and I think Drew Lock might give him a little spark in his first start. Doesn't mean it's sustainable.
I'm just saying today in particular, I think he, uh, gives them a little.
So I got the Broncos 21 Thio 10 over the charges.
I'm going to say the charges 21 to 20.
Close one, Broncos 19 charges 16.
I just It's time for Phil to kind of moving on.
Yeah, he might be done.
That's where I'm kind of thinking with this.
Chiefs are last four o'clock game for 25.
The Chiefs are hosting the Oakland Raiders And if I had a button for upset alert, I would be ringing it right now because I think despite what I saw last week, and trust me, what I saw last week made me want to throw up.
Um, I think the Raiders come in and beat a team that has had a reputation of being a very good home team but have not been that team this year.
So I think the chief stumble once again.
I think the Raiders squeak out a 28 2 27 victory against this team.
I'm gonna say that she is 35 14.
Not a close game at all.
Raiders get garbage point.
This'd is the last battle for Derek Hart.
This is one time like I have very little belief.
Like he is a good, accurate passer When the game don't matter. This game matters.
But against all that one time, I will believe in him one more time.
This is gonna be it.
All right. Okay. To Raiders won chiefs.
All right, so Sunday Night Football, the Patriots heading to Houston.
Um, I have the patriots win it Big 35 13.
I don't think this is a close game.
I think that defense, if anything, that the Texans get a They have a good good drive.
Maybe, Ah, take advantage of a broken coverage.
But this offense is gonna roll.
So 35 to 13 patriots, I'm gonna say New England 28 13 36 to 9.
Patriots at a laugher course.
I love straight scores.
E I wonder if that would be score.
Gabi, I love those when that pops out like a we've never seen this score ever.
