How's it really doing out there in another land? Just finished, Uh, day of boards, exams, studying.
And, uh, that was fun.
It really is starting to get into full gear, prepping for my pre exam, which is essentially the what my school wants me to do prior to taking boards, passing their exam and then moving on to taking national war exams, which are in April.
So I'm a little fried.
As you can probably tell you got my nightly brew cellos.
I'm gonna talk some NFL injuries, some chiefs, Raiders, um, a little bit a little bit of strategy, maybe some d f s talk.
Um, really, Last week, if you would've tuned in one, Um, one of the projections that I don't really feel to necessarily not guilty isn't the word because I did say in my article made GFS article that if George kill goes off, I'm willing to live with it.
And maybe in retrospect, that wasn't the right process necessarily.
But given all the information we had at the time, it was difficult to see and a human individual human play through a fractured ankle, catch a 60 yard bomb, two touchdowns, whatever it Waas With all the information we had at the time, he had missed two games.
Um, you didn't really sound to be ready, so I don't know.
It was an interesting situation.
If you listen to me than you faded Kittel and missed out on some points like I did I mean, I did the same thing.
So my bad there.
But, you know, I sort of have a hard time saying that I wouldn't do it again, Just given the cir***stances.
He's probably one of those dudes that you start regardless of what you hear.
Maybe, um, I don't know.
That was an interesting situation to me.
He's just an athletic freakin place through pain, like it's his job.
It's not necessarily his job specifically to play through pain.
But anyway, other than that, you did pretty well.
You took my advice to use Earth's If you took my advice to use Mile Sanders, depending on the viewer DEA faster season long.
I've used in the season long.
Um, I was right about male Sanders.
Um did okay projecting Tyler Lockett.
We'll get into a few those those guys again, that happened to be on the, uh, topic list, so we'll start with here.
Let's start starting in those actors just because he's sort of a hot button player here.
She came on fact onto.
He came out of Wheat 12 with hamstring injury.
So when players are told or reports that they have a hamstring injury and they don't practice Wednesday and Thursday and then they do practice in a limited fashion Friday, it's not a slam dunk home run that he's gonna play.
There are reports out there surfacing saying that he is going to attempt to play, UM, which is I can see that happening.
It's necessary that I don't see him playing.
It's just I wonder how effective and or utilize he will be in a game where they'll have Nelson Agler back in a game where they'll have Al Shaun Geoffrey back in a game where J.
J and Mile Sanders will probably be able to carry the load the offensive load for them in a place where Carson Wentz will have a few more other places to go where Dallas gotta is always a good option.
I just wonder from like a d.
M s perspective and even sees a long perspective how utilized Zach Ertz will be against Miami Dolphins.
That's before you consider.
Will he be healthy? And will he be ready? Hamstring injuries take 123 weeks to heal.
We know that it is is probably on the less severe and considering you still wants to come out and play, he said that he's gonna try and play.
But it's just important to keep in mind.
Like with this Adam Adam's feeling situation where he came back too early, reaggravated the injury and then now is backpedaling.
We'll talk about it, but he's he's He's sort of changed his tone since he reinjured the injury, reinjured the hamstring, and that is not uncommon to happen with hamstring injuries for the skill position players.
So what I'm trying to say with all of this and I said this in my article, tread lightly with Earth's get it. It's the Dolphins.
But if if I were, I'm fading him in cash games and GFs specifically, um, in season long, if you were able to if you were able to get your hands on Ryan Griffin or UM or Tyler Higbee, even I I would consider using them and at least having them as a backup plan for Earth because it's not 100% that he'll go.
The Eagles might go with the with the plan that the Colts trying to use against the Dolphins, which actually ended up backfiring on them trying to play their backup quarterback because it was something inside.
The next time we talk about here, Cheryl ever it because I didn't mention Tyler Higbee, you know, ever is on a plane for D.
F s versus Consider Tyler.
Maybe he was soaking of targets before ever.
It was even rolled out.
So that's something interesting.
Something of no, the Rams should be.
You'd think the Rams would be able to get the show back on the road.
You're something else.
Score some points.
Then again, Jared Goff so bad he's just basically him and Mr Whiskey are I imagine this Spider Man gift where the two Spider Men are looking at each other.
That's how I imagined Mr Risky and Jared golf every day when I walk in the locker.
So it's not a guarantee.
It's not a slam dunk home run that the Rams offense will do much of anything, and if they do it might all be through Cooper Kuppinger over Woods Tyler.
He could be a super, super cheap option.
Unless you build a lot of lineups that are, you would be able to build most weeks.
So consider him, Let's see here.
Damian Williams is the dude who I mean into the season, people were saying like he can't hold up an entire workload.
He's never had more than 15 or whatever carries per season.
I get that I I understand from human performance.
Terror injury perspective.
He really, even though he's taking on a bigger load than usual before his first injury, the contusion he never was really using.
He there was never that much more volume, and he was kidding relative to the ports the end of last season.
So it's not like he's Christian McCaffrey touching the ball 2025 times a game or anything like that.
Um, so these injuries are sort of to me at least they seem like they're bad luck.
That's that's an impact injury.
Ribs decimate those air impact injuries.
There's a really, really difficult injuries, too sort of predict or project.
Ah, lot of people get these injuries It's just a matter how, how, how much damage is done with these injuries.
And obviously, Damian Williams, who's gonna play next week, has after the by even is having a lot more trouble with these ribs injuries than other players have.
I mean, you could even argue Mile Sanders should not have played last week, and he's played the last two.
It's just something to consider.
So in season long fantasy and you're gonna pick up probably with Shawn McCoy, General Williams will probably annoyingly take a goal line.
Carrie, Um, if you watch him play, he's just the most unathletic dude.
But it's supposed to be.
And so I'm going to this game.
So we were looking at the weather.
My wife and I was supposed to be 25 30 mile, an hour, mile per hour winds, and that's significant.
Now I'm not saying that's gonna affect necessarily.
I mean, it could affect the passing game.
Patrick Holmes arms so strong in mind, not really matter.
You might be able to get the passes where he wants him anyway, but it's definitely a consideration.
Um, it's definitely consideration toward if it's altering the past is enough, they might run a little more than usual.
So that's something considered fancy purposes.
And I wonder how much that will actually affect the way that the Raiders play it.
It's the chief's.
If this will actually be a closer game than usual.
If the Chiefs can't run the better, pass the ball as much as they want.
Thio and the Raiders shoes to run the ball, Josh Jacobs over and over again and just pound that defense because they're so bad at playing run defense.
If the Raiders might actually used to see with their advantage, and it might be a closer game, then maybe it should be.
Or maybe then everybody thinks it might be.
Then again, moans might just throw for three or four touchdowns in the first half and call again.
So those are the options.
This is arranges of outcomes for the Chiefs and the Raiders.
Tomorrow I will be there, I will be there.
I'll be there in mind, um, partially in mind.
I'll definitely be there physically, but it'll be a good time.
So I'm excited to do that with my family.
We talked to Adam's feeling just a little bit so I'll mention him again.
He's been telling reporters that he's not certain that he's gonna go, which is not what you usually hear from players.
Usually what you hear from players.
I'm gonna be active.
You know, when you could go.
Either way, they either come, you know, they play and be not productive.
It all or not play at all.
Usually, when you when you hear a player talk about you hear players tell reporters that they're not certain, then you can really take their word.
For that. They're legitimately Nasser.
So that's gonna obviously hurt the Vikings against this past defense of the Seahawks.
And it's just not it's just bad.
And then Damien client Kami, who is sort of on away from fantasy stuff he is.
He says he's gonna try to play.
But hell, it sounds like he needs surgery, grub, sports, hernia surgery.
We'll see what happens.
But without that pastor set, that secondary is even more vulnerable.
That means that Biggs is isn't play here.
You want that is over on passing you on receiving yards.
I don't even know what it is, but especially if Clowney is an actor and I'm probably gonna hammer that over if feeling is an active, I'm absolutely hammering that over.
That's something to consider if you're in a state where it's legal to bail on the substance, Um, let's see here.
So feeling speaking of that same game mentioned Tyler Lockett here last week, Locket was dealing with I'm that contusion that hospitalized him for two nights and people were asking me like, What's the big deal he's done from the hospital with? The big deal is that even though he didn't get Compartment syndrome necessarily, even though he didn't have surgery, the bruise and the muscle and the demon, the swelling was bad enough for them to hold him overnight.
That doesn't make the pain go away.
That doesn't mean this Well, that doesn't it doesn't make the swelling go away any more quickly.
Doesn't make anything, um, really help his cir***stances from a pain perspective.
And that's really what matters when our deal, when you're dealing with contusions like that and we saw and you also have to think about the indirect stuff like I stuff that I talked about as well last week, he wasn't.
He wasn't rehab a lot in the facility.
He wasn't in his many offensive meetings.
He wasn't directly involved in this scheme like he probably is every week, simply because they were. He just wasn't president.
Um, you know, he lost a week of practice like every inch matters in this game.
And when an injury indirectly affects players and keeps him out of the off the practice field or out of the film room, whatever that's gonna you're gonna see that show up on the field, you know? And also it's physically, too.
I mean, you saw T y Hilton last week as well.
In the Thursday night games.
He, uh, you just didn't look right.
And it's not just that the he physically wasn't right.
He mentally did not look right at me.
A couple of balls in the right hands.
He didn't catch them.
I mean, it's a game of inches legitimately.
It's corny saying, but it's so true when these elite athletes get thrown off or out of the routine, it really just spectacle.
So with all that, said Tyler Lockett, dealing with homeless now, not just that, the confusion was should be getting better.
It's probably mostly resolved by now.
Um, if not, you know at least 75 80%.
But the thing about being sick is that he either had the flu or he had the stomach bug 24 hour summit.
But we don't really know what happened, but apparently it was bad enough where he missed practice yesterday.
You worry about hydration.
You worry about fatigue.
You worry about not feeling well.
If he's still not well, if he saw that he broke a fever like there's so many factors, we don't even those Vikings pass defenses is you can pick on it, I guess.
Um, I would not be I wouldn't say that again.
Second week in a row, the town of lock.
It's a slam dunk, like in cash games and GFS and stuff like that.
Those are the places that I'm definitely not playing.
If you're in season long, probably rolling with him, I can see this game.
Um, getting up there in points so I can understand why you would want to use lock it in a game like this.
So I wouldn't blame you necessarily, but I don't think if you're doing the slow.
That's showdown slates.
I don't think I will use them for a captain or anything like that.
I'm I don't even use them at all.
Um, so those are just some things to consider.
So, getting to summarize, Earth's not a slam dunk to play.
And if he is, I don't know how effective he'll be.
He always he's that he's a volatile risk to Rangers hamstring.
Gerald ever is gonna be out.
So consider his teammate Tyler Higbee, who was absorbing some targets before the brains were really bad.
Jared Goff is really bad, so we'll see what happens with this offense.
That was ribs considered LaShawn McCoy, and they actually might run the ball a little more than usual.
So that's something to consider as well.
Adam's feeling, not a slam dunk to play, and if he does not a slam dunk reform.
I'm sort of insane boat, not really trusting those last two dudes lock in feeling in cash games or anything like that.
You just got my, um my, uh we 13 phase in place for free.
I just talk to you through every single one of those dudes.
