Nick's family was popping.
Is your boy all my friends and family on SportsCastr? Thank you for joining me.
And I'm not gonna be too long.
I'm gonna be pretty quick because I know you know you got other things to do you got I love the food to start cooking and all that kind of stuff, So I'm gonna be quick.
Talk about two things.
We're gonna talk about the game preview, Knicks versus Raptor.
We're gonna talk about the Knicks being in the danger zone.
Are they in the danger zone right now? It's a very good chance that they are.
Ladies and gentlemen, they got six games coming up that could very well smash their season.
Smashed the season.
Well, let's talk about the game previewed.
Let's take a look at that.
Then we'll get into this whole danger zone talk and whether or not the Knicks could be trouble over the next six games and what happens if they are in trouble? What will be the results of these next six games? But anyway, let's talk about the Toronto Raptors first the Knicks play.
Let's run a wrap this tomorrow night, actually, tonight that is 12:53 a.m.
in, um, On Live.
But tonight, Then the next.
Play the Toronto Raptors tonight at 7:30 p.m.
At this sculpture bank arena.
See, I had to look at it at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, the projected starters for the New York Knicks or for 13 on the season.
Frankly, L. Akina, R.
Barrett, Marcus Morris, Julius Randle, Taj Gibson.
Now right now, the Kina suffering from you know, the same groin injuries always suffering from R. J. Barrett.
He's been having some sickness lately.
It's the reason why he sat out against Brooklyn.
But those guys are probable for tomorrow night, but there are on the injury report, although they're not on this screen on injury report.
Non injury report.
But both of those guys are probable.
Hey, that's a lot of right this 12 4 on the season, it projected stars a Fred Vanvleet No manpower O.
And you know, be old G and an o B past Garcia, Come and Marc Gasol.
Carl, are we? He's out with a film injury.
So Di Bacchus, out with an ankle injury.
But don't let that fool you Ladies and gentlemen, these guys are still very good.
There's still on a four game win streak, even know these guys air out.
It's still a very, very good team.
Get a team comparison.
The Knicks in there for 13 there on a three game losing streak.
The average 102 points per game, the average their opponents average 109 points of the game.
The Knicks shoot 42.
9% from the field, 37.
8% from 3 45 They grabbed 45.
6 rebounds per game.
The average 20 points.
Six assists per game, 15.
3 turnovers per game.
They're all offensive rating is one of 3.
4 29th in the league Defensive rating is 1 10.
1 that's 20th in the league.
It's a minor wrapped in there.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the Raptors go on a four game win streak, the average 112.
9 points per game.
They gave up 105.5 points begin.
3% from the field, 39.
That's number one in the league.
Number one in the league Now the Knicks are no slouch in that area, either, though there's one place where they're not a slouch.
One place The Knicks suit 37.
8% from three, and that's a thin the league, So kudos.
Kudos for not being last in something.
It's around a wrap.
This average 45.
9 rebounds per game, UH, 25.
4 assists per game and 15.
7 turnovers per game.
The offensive waiting for the Raptors, 1 10.
3 That's a thin the league, and the defensive rating is one of 3.
1 that sixth in the league.
Like I said, these guys are the opposite of the New York Knicks.
Stick of some key matchups past Kasey Ackerman, Julius Randle.
This could really give us problems, ladies and gentlemen, because we know about Julie's Man, whose defense so far this season past Kosiak Abi's killing.
The league's averaging 25.
7 points per game, 8.
4 rebounds a game for successful game.
Just under one still per game.
He's shooting 47.
4% from the field, 37.
He's killing the league right now, Tony, and he just might win the most improved player once again because he's taken a leap from averages 16 points a game to 25.7.
This guy's killing the lead.
He's a big reason.
Pascal Seaq um he's a big reason why it's a Ronald Wright is a still a contender in the East.
Julius Randle, 68 to 50.
He's averaged 16.
2 points per game, 9.
8 assists per game, just under one steel for gang shoots, 44.
4% from the field and 26.
Julius Randle, We thought, was gonna put up similar numbers to pass out. See Jackal.
Maybe it's not too early, but it's not an average 25.
7 points per game.
And she just goes on a crazy tear, averaging 30 points per game for the next 10 to 15 games of something wild.
A doubt that's gonna happen.
Not exactly thrilled with the way that Fizdale uses home, and I think that's part of the reason why he only averages 16.
3 points per game.
Nonetheless, he still has to guard Pascal See Asco, and that's the issue.
Julius Randle Garden.
You know this this? You know, there's a lot of issues with Julius Randle in his defense.
You know that? Does he, you know, doesn't make us rotations Busy meeting his assignments? Um, a lot of issues with it.
Sometimes he's just lazy.
I've seen them play good defense.
Sometimes he's just lazy.
This matchup was the key matchup of the game to me, but there's another key matchup because it's Ryan, a Raptor.
Have a guard Fred Vanvleet, who's subbing in.
Not subbing in, but he's a starting point guard, while Carl Larry is out.
Vanvleet, 611 97 point guard is averaging 18.
5 points per game, 3.
9 rebounds per game, 7.
7 assists, 1.8 steals.
2% from the field and 37.
And that's what I'm afraid.
That's why I'm scared at 37.
7% because we have some trouble guarding a screen and roll and we have problems switching.
We switch a lot and if we continuously switch.
Frankly. Lucchino off. Afraid. Van, please.
He's gonna kill us from three.
It's gonna kill it. He'll light it up.
That's not what we want.
It's not what we need.
I want, frankly located to fight over the screens.
I want, frankly, Latina to stay tight on Fred Vanvleet not let him get loose and start killing us from three.
It'll do it. She was 37.7%.
And he's not the best three point shooter on the team.
We'll talk about him in a little bit.
What we need fighting and Akina to d up Fred VanVleet make it tough for him to facilitate.
Well, the way we're gonna have a chance.
Keys to the game.
Ladies and gentlemen, guarded three point line.
And here's what I'm talking about.
When I said Fred VanVleet is not the best three point shooter on the team.
Why? Because an n o B is an N o.
Shoots 49% from the three point line.
Just about 50% from the three point line, folks.
Marcus Morris is gonna be gardening.
Marcus Morris has gotta play some defense on stop him from shooting.
Don't let that man see the bars.
Easier said than done.
I know, but you can't let this man get loose from the three point line.
We need help on SEAQ.
Um, see, Akram is their main guy.
He's their score.
And we got one of our worst defenders on him in Julius Randle.
So we need help.
Pascal goes to the basket.
Then we need somebody helping the helper.
We gotta have our defense on the string because there is no well that seaq um get his and it shut down everybody else because that's not how they play.
They play a team style offense.
Yes, Pascal seaq, um takes the most shots, but they play a team style offense.
So if you think you're just gonna let pass Qazi asking go see, I couldn't get loose it shut down.
Everybody else is probably not gonna happen because they moved the ball very well.
5 assists per game.
So that leads me to the next key to the gate.
We gotta play 24 seconds of defense.
These guys move the basketball, get assists.
They play a team style of offense and defense.
But we gotta play 24 seconds of defense, get stops, can't give up.
Used to pee in our the pick and roll with Mitchell Robinson and talks Gibson.
So deep pockets out.
Marc Gasol is the starting center open.
These guys are going to see time on Marc Gasol.
Marc Gasol is gonna see time on both of these guys.
So used that pick and roll.
Mitch has been successful this season in the pick and roll.
Used the pick and roll.
See if we can catch Marcus so flat footed.
See if we could catch Marc Gasol.
Not ready or too slow.
See if we could take advantage of it.
We gotta pick up the pace post.
Fizdale said he wants to pick up the pace.
Why don't we need to pick up the pace? I'll tell you why.
Because we shoot 42 point 8% from the field or whatever it is.
You shoot that low from the field, you need more shots to make more shots.
We don't shoot a high percentage, see if you shoot a high percentage.
It can also help your defense because you can slow down the pace right, get a good shot score, come back and play defense and make the other team B a little bit slower.
See if you pick up the pace because you shoot a low percentage.
Other teams get more shots, too, so I don't know.
I don't know, but they do need to pick up the pace.
They play a little bit better and rhythm when they pick up the pace.
I think we need to capitalize on the size of the guards.
Frankly, Lucchino, R J.
Barrett gets Fred Van Fleet and the other dude that sees, like 63 capitalize on their sides.
We got more sized in them.
Let's see if we can score in the paint a little bit.
I see we're just going to pay.
Let's see if we can post up R J.
Buried is something like that.
Since we have more size from the guards standpoint, a game will be matching up with Fred Van Flee in Norman Powell that Van Fleet 61 No.
One powers like 6364 so that kind of small.
See if we can use our size.
That's my keys to the game.
Ladies and gentlemen, once more guarded three point line.
Don't let any No.
And, you know, being Fred Vanvleet and them guys get loose help on Seattle, he's going to be, Ah, he's gonna be tough to deal with, but we gotta give him as much help as possible.
Julius Randle, Marcus Morris.
Where is autumn? 24 seconds of defense.
Because these guys move the basketball, the average 24.
5 assists per game.
Gotta play 24 seconds of defense.
Use the pick and roll with Mitch and tides.
All right, Marc Gasol is a little bit slower.
Maybe he can't keep up with those guys used to screen the role.
We've been successful.
Pick up the pace.
Get up with the ball. Is getting good shots.
Don't get good shots.
If you know if you don't get a girl shot, then use procession moving the ball.
Don't just pass it. Catch standing.
Look past that cat standing.
No, we don't need that.
We need the bottom move! Boom, boom, boom boom boom Cut slash.
Basket that space big that space in Let's capitalize on the size of the guards.
Capitalize on it.
Frankly, Latina R J. Barrett.
A tower over Fred Van Fleet in normal power that he utilized that.
So, ladies and gentlemen, let's talk about the reason why I say we've entered the danger zone because the Toronto Raptors game is just the beginning.
It's just the beginning.
But the danger zone First game of what I'm considering the danger zone is gonna be tough is why I say is the danger zone, Folks, I want you to take a real close look at this schedule that's coming up.
That's it's a tough schedule of schedule.
This might be the toughest schedule in the league at the moment, Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know.
Maybe it is maybe Nate, but the next place.
The Toronto Raptors tomorrow night, Wednesday, November 27 in our Friday, November 29th and explain the 70 Sixers in our Sunday December the first.
They play the Boston Celtics.
Monday, December, the second they played the Milwaukee Bucks.
Then, on Thursday, December the fifth, they played the Denver Nuggets.
Saturday, December the seventh, they played the Indiana Pacers.
This folks is the danger zone, calling it the danger zone.
Why? Because the Knicks are four and 13.
They play these six games, and there's a very, very good chance that they lose all six to extend their losing streak to nine.
A very good chance that this happens, ladies and gentlemen.
And if this happens and this will be four in 19 on this season and who knows what happens from there, it could be trouble.
Could be a lot of trouble.
The danger zone.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks are entering the danger zone.
We will see how they respond.
Coach Fizdale says he likes the fact that the Knicks are playing so many contenders at one time.
Hey, you know what? I get it when you're a team that somewhere around 500 when your team that's for 13 men, you need a CZ many easy teams on the schedule as possible.
Not happening with Nick's folks.
It's not happening.
But anyway, ladies and gentlemen, think of joining me.
I'm out of here, man.
I just want to jump on real quick.
Say, what's up to you guys? I will be on tomorrow night after the game.
