giant podcast coming to you live on the SportsCastr platform, as we had mentioned, we're gonna be checking in on this one if you are following also my other endeavor here on the SportsCastr network.
We got Nets podcast.
I mentioned we were gonna be following, of course, the Nets versus the Cleveland Cavaliers.
And then I was hoping, and it worked out.
Able to come in here on the halftime, give some highlights about this game.
But then, also as we did on the Thursday night matchup, talk about what we are seeing from some potential free agent targets for the New York Giants as we look to the off season following what was certainly a disappointing Giants performance yesterday against the Chicago Bears.
This one? I don't know If you were expecting how close you thought this was going to be.
I certainly looked at it a situation where the Baltimore Ravens are just a team on fire right now and obviously started to become everyone's odds on favorites to make it to the Super Bowl.
We all know that roads, we're gonna probably go through a New England some point, but nevertheless, this is a team of behind Lamar Jackson.
The defense has been playing increasingly better on a week to week basis, and then, on the other side of things talk about a team going in different directions.
The L A Rams coming off of last year, you assumed it was gonna be just more of the same.
Watch this team going deep playoff run.
But now, sitting here at six and four, it seems like a lot of teams took that blueprint proved out by the New England Patriots and how to attack this offense.
They have had a very hard time here trying to get this done, highlighting.
Right now, the 21 rushes for 100 77 11 passes for 78.
Doesn't matter how you get it done in the NFL.
If you are chalking up wins, that is all that people want to see as the Ravens grab another first down here to start off the third quarter.
And this is certainly a team that is playing with a ton of confidence.
We'll start to walk through some of the first ever pull up.
We'll go ahead with the you know what? We will start on the the Rams side of things and just highlight what players are going to be free agents for them in the upcoming off season.
And, of course, what do we expect? You know, in terms of unrestricted versus restricted, and then guys, you also assume, are going to kind of be presumed returning players for them.
For example, as Lamar Jackson zips one over the middle incomplete, you may be thinking, we just go out and get the get Dante Fowler, right? But you know, assumptions will be that he's gonna be returning their salad and 2019 of 12 million.
Then you get into a guy like Andrew Whitworth.
Obviously, he's a veteran tackle who was playing on a team looking to get himself to a Super Bowl.
So even if you were not to return to the Rams, the Giants are not gonna be on his list and then a 38.
And I don't know how long you keep going back to that well on that player.
Certainly, if we had been in different situation a couple of years ago, I would have said that the perfect guy for the Giants to target, we moved through there, also going tohave defensive tackle as, ah, run off the left side.
We'll go for a handful of the third down coming up for the Ravens here.
But yet you had.
Ah, defensive tackle.
Rockers will be available at 29.
You think Got Cory Littleton inside linebacker, 26 years old.
I was about to move past bigger butt kicker Greg Zuerlein could be available to talk about have possibly bring in some competition for a guy like Rose Oscar moving on entirely from Rose Sauce.
We'll skip past Blake Bortles.
But you know they have inside linebacker Hager.
Ah, Turner's go through who we feel is gonna be Some of the higher profile guys like those bigger names are certainly the ones we want to mention.
And now what I will do is just then we'll take a dip over into pro football focus as Lamar Jackson zips one down the field, finds his tight end for a big scoot after their run and catch.
Look at this one down inside its mark.
You know that he has been a game that's been coming on week after week for the Baltimore Ravens.
In this particular instance, they just lose him in his own look.
They dump the rate of the top of that sitting safety there, and he goes ahead and then scoots on a nice big pick up there for the Baltimore Ravens driving down into the Rams.
Ah, defense of air defense zone.
And at this point, you can understand why it is a 28 to 16 here in the third.
And this could be one of those ones where a lot of the starters get to take some time off here later in the game. Action.
See how things go is.
The Ravens now find themselves inside the 25 another run off tackle for just a couple here.
Roles for women, piece of three or four on the roll there as he hurtled one of his offensive lineman there instead.
So we go ahead and we will get in.
As we said, we're taking a look here on the Rams.
Excuse me now some of these players, you know, I can highlight Dion, Dante Fowler, but I assume he's gonna come back.
Let's take a look at a couple of these linebackers that are highlighted here.
Littleton will be the 1st 1 that we will pull up.
And with that overall rating of 85.
8 on this season, 58 solo tackles, 20 assists, two interceptions, two forced fumbles.
Obviously, the Giants don't have anyone up to that benchmark there.
This is the kind of guy at six foot 32 28 4747 speed out of Washington.
Drafted in 27 2016 by the Rams.
This is one of those guys now, obviously, you can.
You'd expect you're gonna get certainly some competition on the free agent market.
If not, these automatically gonna be coming back to the Rams.
But if you're talking about a needle mover, that would certainly be a player that the Giants could look to attack and free agency a 26 years old inside linebacker Position means you go ahead and replace a guy like Alec Ogletree.
As Lemar Jackson gets nailed as he throws that one out there, voice gets sacked.
The lease at 2nd 10 and now it could be an injury issue there for the linebacker on that place.
He will get up and off the field, but may have tweaked something there.
Ah, and want the double check on that, but second and 10 here now for Lamar Jackson and the Ravens from the 11.
So I could get a first down here without getting inside the end zone.
And then, obviously, you see there is, well, 44 drives for touchdowns for the Baltimore Ravens.
We'll see how the matchup goes here that actually have boil in a tight end on this particular set here.
Ingram the loan back takes the handoff, works off tackle, will pick up a solid three, gets hit, maybe 1/4 yard there at the end of it.
But again is the kind of thing where, if you're the Baltimore Ravens, no need to be taking any risks here.
Might as well go ahead and pad that beautiful stat line that you've been working with.
You have to think about too well. Try.
Let's also take a look here and pull up.
Ah, let's say four AM's 2020 Capra because that's the other thing right now.
We're also thinking About what? How is this team gonna match up with the number of players that they're gonna have to re sign potentially and then where they can look to go when they have certain free agents.
And that's where if you're the New York Giants or any of these teams that you're talking about, as Ingram runs this one straight on in there on 1/3 and six, that's gonna be a nice play right there.
Good Grieve. A reception executing on a run.
But reception there.
Another touchdown for Lamar Jackson as he skips his way through the down towards the end zone there.
And great to see a young player like this, who everyone looked at and said, He's not gonna go do things.
You need to do the NFL level.
Not going to be about for a passer.
He certainly, obviously is using his legs, and that's great.
But he's also executing things as Littleton.
Well, there you go.
No reason to keep him around on that roster, but he gave up that passing touchdown there and coverage, so might as well cut him and let the Giants pick him up.
But as we take a look at the sun, the dead cap hits, so they're gonna have not a lot of not a lot, really there, Uh, just want to get it.
Get a sense of what we can expect.
They'll have no first round picks next year.
They have picked the second, the third, the fourth.
No, none of the fifth.
Then they have their sixth and seventh.
So they've given up some of their capital to bring in some players onto their roster.
D'oh! Let's see here, take me a second to track this number down.
But in the meantime, Cory Littleton certainly a name to wash for right now, if you've ever if you've been following us is well, we've also highlighted some of the players at the collegiate level Weaver being the big name that I think depending on how we talk about the New York football Giants in the draft, could be a guy that you target in that second round selection of Penny Hillary full and how fast he rises up that roster.
I can go ahead actually, and pull that up right now.
We'd also highlighted job ACI at Michigan State, Patty Fisher coming out of Northwestern, and then it was Evan Weaver we're talking about.
This is a guy who maybe, you see, he's been rising up.
He has been rising of the draft board. Certainly.
Ah, but you wonder if it is someone who you could see possibly being available there.
How much would you be willing to invest in that we're going to impair drive through there? Some of the other outlooks on the draft right now to see where they full.
Okay, we're diving into that back into the first round into the second round.
As of right now, going by some, You know, of course, you're gonna have different projections in different places.
Here is still a guy, so, as of right now, falls outside of the top 50 currently listed going through ah, currently sporting news and check out some other ones as well.
But you know, So right now you're talking about guy that could fall second, even third round for you in Evan Weaver and Ivory.
I won't spend too much time on him now, but the reason why I highlighted like him is because he has spin an inside outside linebacker, done some edge work at the college level in California.
He has tthe ea 63 to 45.
He has enough speed and agility to go into coverage if needed.
He can also get sidelined the sideline.
So this is certainly a player that has not only the attributes to play the next level, but also as positional flexibility, Whether it is better old on the defensive or anyone else being able to know that you can rotate him around within that defensive unit, get him attacking with his size.
Big enough with that wait there will get bigger and stronger, as everyone does at the NFL level.
Certainly has an opportunity to make an impact.
But if you say plug him in on that on that line, they're going after a guy like Littleton would obviously make a ton of sense and free agency to try toe bolster what you're doing there.
Get ah, tandem unit there with Lorenzo Carter.
Whether Carter kicks in size, we file it or stays outside on the edge.
Now, all of a sudden you're building that unit up behind that defensive front and as one of our ah, one of our friends on the one sorry play like a jet podcast mentioned not only in our cross over, but we actually were just talking through Twitter here a little bit after Sunday.
You know, a guy like Leonard Williams is already stacking up a lot of nice stats in terms of hurries and pressures here in just three weeks as a giant, and fans may be clamoring, always not getting to the quarterback, but those not only do they convert to Sachs as you have better players around you, it also helps the players around you to be more effective and have more looks there.
So you gotta build talent around talent to be effective.
So we took a look there.
Corey Little 10 the only other guy that will really take a peek at particularly here, those two players that I'll jump in on real quick, and that will be just Hager and Carol.
I don't think Carraway is gonna call anything.
I honestly don't think either one of these players is.
Neff is necessarily gonna have returns on him, but we'll take a quick peek before we went around to a couple of different units here and then flip over certainly to the rave inside of the bowl and see if there's any potential pickups there, right? Ah, so diving in here real quick.
We talked about Hager grating on 64.7.
You know, this is a guy who again drafted 2015 by the Rams, coming up for opportunities, a late round pick, limited time on the field.
So I'm not going over.
****yze that one. Certainly.
He'll be available if you want to take a look at him.
But he's a backup at this stage of his career currently.
Maybe he gets an opportunity somewhere else, and then the other one will take a quick look at here.
Nothing doing there.
Okay, so if you're gonna talk about a player that you want to look to target, I'm gonna get pretty excited about the prospect of trying to attack a guy like Littleton.
And it's just gonna come down to the dollars and cents of how much you're going tohave left over when you talk about, ah, players that they're gonna want to sign or moves that they're gonna want to make.
So, uh, so here we go.
This is what we're looking at here.
Okay, so they were looking like right now, Justin Cap, Total cap space four ah, four of the L.
You're looking around 25 million.
So they're gonna have a relatively small market market camp room there to be able to bring back in some of these players.
And as we take a look back in there you are talking about then saying are you going to be able to bring back Dante Fowler? You know, would you be going back? Whitworth, If you are, it's gonna cost you a couple of bucks there as well.
And then you have guys like Michael Braugher's, then again to Cory Littleton and certainly his airline.
So, depending on what moves they make, though, you're really only looking at bringing back two out of those three.
Maybe what worth is taking a little bit of ah, you know, later deal to come back.
But those salaries right now at the top of this roster you're talking about Ah Fowler, 12,000,011 to 5 for Whitworth, and then Braugher's on 11 million.
So and then Broncos.
At 29 you still gonna become silent on the same number than Fowler, 26 is going looking for that big payday for himself is well, you can actually take a look here, Pull this up real quick as well.
Talking about market value.
Uh, they're saying you're talking about Is offensive linebacker ranking is 90.
The current contract ranks him would be seventh in terms of his contract making average annual salary of 12 million.
And average salaries should be there saying, at four years, 42 million, 10 and 1/2 1,000,000 a year, So you can tell me how you want to roll with that.
But if that's the case, even at that, you don't think using obscenity sign, in fact, necessarily.
But that someone that the Giants can also be in on if they so chose.
And we'll take a look inside of that number as well, just to give you where he's been in terms of performance this year.
And then relative, of course, to Ah Littleton since we've highlighted him as well.
At 6 30 to 55 he was drafted there by the Jaguars.
As we know, Um, I want them again playing to a 68 level here.
You assume he's going back to them as well, you know, given, given what they had to do to get him in the door.
But ah, so beyond Littleton, You now know that you look at this roster, and you can say you're talking about the lamp ****.
25 million to work with.
Is it gonna be Braugher's Whitworth fouler than you get into Cory Littleton? Maybe you identify him and they give him that big contract and you move on from Greg Zuerlein.
If there's still like their kicker, averaging 2.
25 right now, that's probably, you know, you have to see if that's gonna be something that moves the needle for them as well.
So I'm the only one talking about having two of these players that you talked about in the top 45 positions there that they're gonna have room to move on.
Now you may see some other roster moves happen, but these are the free agents they're dealing with.
And right now, you may think that Cory Littleton is going to be a guy that, at least is going to be able to test a Fraser market.
Assuming that maybe ah, franchise tag goes somewhere else, or that they just find out.
No, they can't pay a bill.
It'll be interesting to see.
So that's where we stick on this particular team.
Let's head over to uh, the excuse me.
Let's take a look at the Ravens now and see if there's anyone that we might want to take a peek at.
Potentially a target for the Giants and free agency, Right? So they got guys like Jimmy Smith, Brendan Williams of the defensive tackle position as we watch Ah rumble there again on the ground before the Baltimore Ravens back in possession just to give a little stat lines here as well.
Passing lines 1 23 to 84 rushing yards, 203 to 19.
Red zone 55 Ravens 02 for the Rams and then, Ah, no, no turnovers on either side.
But that's almost even more ****ing if you're the, you know, the l A Rams.
Because, uh, that means a your play a clean game, and you still have middle to get anything done in this one, and certainly from a defensive side of things, you've got to be just completely flabbergasted here.
So, uh, back into a couple of these numbers here as the Ravens pick up another first down on the ground with Ingram, you're going to see I know I also want to highlight to Lamar Jackson immediately in and around the players.
They're trying to clear some bodies up and get his offensive line.
But I I just I'm very high on him having success because I just think he's the kind of guy, Uh, his attitudes approach to the game has been nothing but fantastic.
And you're seeing him have the success, and why not? I want to see someone like that happen kind of success.
The Ravens, currently as they head in there, they're gonna have their 1st 2nd 3rd 2 in the 4th 1 of the fifth, none of the sixth in one of the seventh round next next year.
And then I think they were just had just had that highlight number up there.
Estimated cap space at three a.
Now would be It would be estimated that they're looking at at 28 million in dead Capa's Well, eso dive into some of these numbers.
They're gonna be tightening up against the budget.
They've got a lot of guys were coming the cat.
But again, you talk about signing a lot.
Number these players back.
So Jimmy Smith at cornerback Williams, a defensive tackle.
Then you get into some offensive players like the guard Janda, who you know who is currently making nine million on the season right now.
Brendan car again.
He's on the I'm sorry.
Yes, yes, aren't yet that he's on the books there as well.
Ah, for seven million and then Ah, Earl Thomas at free safety.
So you know a number of players here certainly that are out there and available.
The question really becomes whether or not these have any value when you talk about getting to free agency and if the Giants would want to take a flier on one of them or get in on the action, we all know John's gonna have endor*****t cap room.
So if they identify two or three players in free agency before you head to the draft of flesh that out, you're gonna give yourself an opportunity to shore up some positions and maybe even turn a corner in turn a relative neutral or negative into an extreme positive for your roster.
So as we dive in on these numbers here, we just mentioned the one guard there.
Ah Janda going dive inside those numbers.
He is Ah, played 657 snaps, playing to an 80 pro football focus rating with just one sack allowed.
Now, we have had obviously a player draft in 2007.
So this is not a young skin here, as they say, um, you know, we dropped.
We obviously have a sight on the right side.
We have Hernandez.
Whether or not that he makes it to that point would certainly be interesting.
And as we looked at that, they're restricted during his age here, pulling up nothing in the age department right now.
So, unfortunately, I was ages offhand here, but he's gonna be out.
Uh, will he be on the market? Veteran player, Depending on how things go for the Ravens, you try to bring that back just to keep the line intact and secure.
Obviously, moving through some these other players, right? Cooks will be up, you know, actually, you know, I wasn't really thinking about thinking about him and thinking about a player like that in that regard.
Would the Giants have any interest in a somewhat injury prone, you know, cooks to see if he would be an option for them? We dive in just to give you some of the numbers that you seen from him then.
More importantly, though, what have we seen? Oh, I apologize.
Still of the year.
But I realized the ranch hand that pulled a while.
That is something, huh? The rams have cooks available along with Sorry, it won't take a look here.
Robert Woods and cooks will both be free agents in this as well.
All right, there.
There you go. I apologize.
I had it up on salary cap.
Not on Freedom Tracker.
Had it all figured out for the Rams here.
Now, we get into some of these names here before we go too far down that line. My apologies.
So the guys that were talking about in terms of that free agency here on this side of the ball for the Baltimore Ravens, it's gonna be a little bit left.
So I wasn't thinking that Janda it was a miss. No minute he was available.
Or that he was going to get free agent.
End of the year.
So you have Ah, you have the club option on the guy like Brendan car cornerback at 34.
Not that interest the Giants.
Then you have Pierce on the defensive line and 27 unrestricted, making three million this year.
Jimmy Smith is still there, though, as I thought he was unrestricted of 32 though again not a cornerback.
The Giants are gonna want to sniff in on Seth Roberts at the wider see record is going to be up as well, along with a guy like Marcus Peters out there, so we'll just quickly take a look at Ah at Let's take a little look air on Pierce on the defensive for the defensive tackle position.
Will get a look at Marcus Peters as well, both 27 years old.
So both certainly up for an opportunity to make some money for themselves if they get to the free agent market.
Playing to an 83.
4 rating as markets Peters this year, 29 solo tackles to go along with four interceptions.
He's been targets 44 times and given up 25 reception.
But that zoo over 50% mark, but on more on the positive and the negative.
There have to like what you have seen from him this year, obviously, and you wonder after they made, obviously after they've made this move, uh, in this season showed so much improvement.
Do you want to retain him and keep that run going? So that could be a potential player that the, uh, the Baltimore Ravens are gonna look toe secure back up as they move into the offseason.
Then we talked about just now the Michael Pierce and he's only played in limited number of snaps here on this season.
Just 16 solo tackles.
Four assists so far, 70 rating.
Six foot 3 40 He obviously fits the part of being a big body there, as they say, but it'll be interesting to see again.
Is it someone who wants to return? I mean, I can list him as a possibility.
I think any chance of getting Marcus Peters is slim.
I wouldn't assume that he makes it out to free agency, ultimately scanning down a list here a little bit.
Ah, you know McPhee and 31 outside linebacker.
A lot of age here on this one.
How bad out here we go, let's pull up.
This might be an option.
That's let's get a number on the table before we bring up.
The name was right.
I just touched it on Anthony Levine there for a minute.
But I was looking in a different direction.
Levine, you will be up, and he's not having a good season.
That's why didn't and he was 33.
So we're not looking to go that route.
But we would be possibly looking at Richardson is not playing, uh, have a bun.
Let's take one last look here at there we go trying to see if Trey work has gotten any snaps this year.
Taking a shot in the dark here.
Very limited information on him as well.
4 on that limited action.
Not a lot of players of big note here.
And when you start to look at these free agents and you see Sally numbers attached to him 734 don't you know these guys? They're falling down that list.
They're more than likely, obviously.
You know, some of these guys, they're younger and you see that number.
Then you can think maybe there's a big opportunity there, but most of the big names in around them are fairly low on the totem pole.
No, I will take a look at a wide receiver.
Talk about the possibility lot of the chatter there around the trade deadline about would the Giants think about moving on immediately from Golden Tate just to get value back in forum? We highlighted Guy as gashing up the middle goes anger.
My first and 18 runs for 20 plus good gravy, this offensive line and Evan Ingram us Our evidence.
Just phenomenal, phenomenal stuff, Uh, limited information there on a Seth Roberts.
That's six, too, though you know, Ah, 16 targets. 11 receptions.
I was not in a lot of her home, but only gets a 58 pro football focus, but a little bit of size.
There were obviously one of the next position that will be diving into is gonna be wide receiver free agents for the New York football Giants because you assume guys like Bennie Fowler and Cody Latimer loose and movement there from that standpoint, and then you look to get in some other bodies and guys that can contribute more consistently and can be bigger threats overall for this team.
So wasn't buying far.
I'm not gonna go to crazy on anyone that we're seeing here on either side of this bull of the outside of Littleton being an obvious, massive target that the Giants would want to look for.
And then we talk about a guy like Michael Pierce.
So, you know, and by for the most part, it's only gonna be a couple players to look at right.
And only you can really hope for if you're the New York Giants is that was you.
Look around the league of these players.
We get this on the Thursday night matchup is, well, maybe one or two of these guys finds their way to free agency.
And if they reach that point, if it's someone of the Giants are high on and think can improve their team, they're going to have the ability to spend more money than most and bring them in the door.
So, you know, a guy like Littleton really would make a ton of sense if it comes to pass that he gets to free agency.
Ah, and you know, the Rams are unable t bring him back in the door and certainly, you know, now and again in a season like this where the Rams were moving in the wrong direction.
Maybe some of the cachet of being able to you to contend for Super Bowls.
Maybe that changes the tune, and not that it's gonna be.
The Giants are going for Super Bowls, but it just means that, hey, it's an open market.
And whoever could give you the best contract might be the way that players go, as many of them do with a limited career time.
So if Littleton were to reach, that's a target that will put down on the board.
One of the things that we will also do is I'm put me through what is been just, ah, cavalcade of notes on some of these players that have been available.
I'm gonna go ahead and wrap these back up into a tight, calm prize list.
And then at the end of the season, what we'll do is we'll start to walk through and say, Here are the guys that we think the Giants were moving on from what the captain implications for those players here are the players that we talked about targeting.
If let's say we do best case scenarios for targets, think we can realistically attack in free agency.
What does that do to the camp and then has that impacted moves that we want to make When it comes to the draft players like on the front of first round pick a guy like Thomas at left tackle that there's no one that you're going to get in free agency? No one's walking through the door.
It's gonna change your mind about drafting him, so it makes it easier to say when I'm looking to address the tackle position in free agency, so we know we need to go draft there.
And that makes the first round selection tender leaning that way, even though the guy like Chase Young is available for you, Maybe you think you want to go that route, but I would tend to say potentially.
If you bring in a guy like Littleton through the door, you can start to think about how does that work within the other coat pieces that you have currently on the roster? And then who else is going to be available later on in the draft? That is necessarily gonna equal a chase young, but certainly I can give you value within the defensive unit.
And then finally, the other thing to think about as well here is from even from the offensive line perspective.
Even if it isn't, Thomas said, You want to go to Chase that you talked about this being a deep class across the offensive line, so you don't have to go to the big board and think about second round pick.
Is there enough value early in the second round, a guy that you feel like it Blufgan starter, especially at the left tackle position at this stage that you think you can go out and get that would make sense and then you can play with that a little bit.
But ultimately, I don't think you're going to free agency for a lot of the solutions across this offensive line, maybe center.
And I think we've taken a peek at that once before, so as I should have just doubled back on some of my notes in that regard, this is where we had highlighted right a guy like Henson out of Oregon, a 2 to 4 round range in the draft or a 3 to 5 rounds, center slash guard Williams out of Mississippi state, and we're gonna keep an eye on those guys and continue to highlight them.
Because now you're saying, if say, you can get one of those two guys in the USA Williams right, 3rd 4th round and scatter report we had done on him was ideal for Center, given that he has a little lower strengths of the typical off center, not necessarily worried about their strength as much and effective in the affected every run and then and then dependable in the passing.
So consistency, right? Worst rated offensive lineman for the Giants so far this season has been jalape o.
You know, we talked about getting into some of this game action in figuring out, even though we know that that Nate soldiers giving up nine sacks around the left side.
We also know that Daniel Jones had a hard time.
Then you will step up in the pocket necessarily from decision making, being a rookie quarterback because the pocket is not available to him.
So it's collapsing from all angles, which isn't great, but we know that Zeitler has been the highest rating, has been a strong right guard for them.
Roemer's has been average to slightly below.
And then Hernandez has even been a little bit of an issue there at left guard.
And now it's just about identifying what is the key? What is the key component you can change out here to be a solution? Does it have to be Nate? Soldier? I highlighted this on the last one as well.
Ah, Andy Mackerel.
It's on the one giant podcast talked about possibly kicking that gentleman around to the right side.
If you're gonna have to have that salary there, and then you replace a left tackle through the draft and you see it on a soldier can be, you know, uh, average, even at right guard with less responsibility, less expectation, That's a possibility.
But I still think you have to look at between free agency in the draft, bring in the center, bringing in attack, right, And then you think about Nick Gates on the roster and what he could do for you.
So it'll be interesting to see what kind of play the Giants have as we move through this.
At any rate, I will comprise this down, bring some of these fat lines together, and then that's what we'll look to do as we approach the off season.
Right now, we highlight.
Littleton is being a key, potential free agency target for the New York football Giants.
Plug him in there in the middle of the defense.
Instant upgrade over anyone, and that will be the last thing that I'll notice.
You said up over 80 in terms of his rating, right? So just to give you that run down through the edge and inside linebacker of breakouts, we mentioned you like we like Connelly.
He's shown some flashes rated out on pro football.
56 point tonight.
I test may tell you different.
Ogletree sub 60 Mayo.
3 An expendable piece, but that it has played well for us.
Buchanan Early returns hasn't looked good.
Zimin is showing flashes 65.4.
Think he can continue to grow as a rookie? Ah, Golden.
In spite of being a guy that's got a lot of sacks, forces raided 55.
5 you go back to prior to the Bears.
I will update these numbers as well.
But then Carter and 69.
7 is our best, and then Martin, the guys would have forgotten piece.
You think they'll move on from the off since you're talking about pulling in and got it would be far and away the best rated member off this unit.
So you can think about the impact that would have for you combining with then going into the draft and maybe picking up a piece.
Let's think about the idea of going out and attacking a little tenant free agency and then maybe still taking Chase Young early in the draft.
Now the son you have overhauled that unit you've brought into dynamic pieces to them.
And now you can start to think about getting after play, getting after offense, getting after quarterbacks and being able to give that secondary a little bit of a reprieve.
And then you think about what are the adjusted.
We have a lot of young talent there.
Can they come through? So that's gonna be a player that I'll pull to the side and we'll start to develop our big board for free agency targets as we move towards the draft in the off season.
And as we've been mentioning on these, this is just the silver lining approach than trying to take to these last six now five games from New York football giants highlighting targets we may want to look like Look at did it on Thursday, doing again here on Monday night had to make the hard choice between watching the Brooklyn Nets yesterday or watching the Giants committed watch the Giants game line, but couldn't sportscast on it next week with the Green Bay matchup.
I will try my best a line that up so I can do it.
And then, if possible, if I have to move on from a Brooklyn Nets game, maybe I will.
We'll see, though, because obviously, Nets were building up that ground swell.
While the Giants are just timbering down towards the end of what has been a disappointing season as we watch this game here, 35 to 6 as the third quarter wrap up, I was maybe gonna stick around for the rest of this year.
But as this game is just for, in a way, a debacle, by all intents and purposes for the L A Rams and what could be spelling into the season for them, we'll take a look at some of the other positions as we move through here.
I'll try and touch base.
Maybe tomorrow we'll dive into the wide receiving corps, look at the wide receiver options and then also start to do on social media.
If you want to follow us on Twitter Instagram and on Facebook at one giant podcast we'll start to do is ah within the story mode.
And the highlights, especially on Instagram, will go ahead and list out what we're talking about.
Position by position free agents, that we're looking at potential departures that we're seeing, and then where we want to go in the draft so that we can contract this all the way through free agency in the draft and know if we're going on the march some of those targets that they fall into our range for us.
Did the organization identify these same players that maybe I and Andy Markowitz has certainly been seeing you know, to look at potential? It's for this organization, so that's gonna do it for us here Already mentioned the social media.
All also throw in there that if you are heading over to iTunes or wherever you surprise a podcast, you can go ahead and like rate and review the one giant podcast.
If you give us that rate, a nice five star rating if you're enjoying it, obviously means the world to us.
And make sure you go ahead and get that automatic download going so that we're registering with you.
Don't miss any of the episodes, and then it also helps us rise up the ranks.
We are certainly trying to build it doing more crossovers.
We did a couple of weeks.
We go with the play like a Jet podcasts and Mason, who was fantastic.
We did the Bears crossover with the Bear report with Zak and Aaron.
That was fantastic as well.
We'll try to line up as many as we can here as we close out the season.
And then we're also gonna have some stuff again with play like a jet podcast is we go in the off season, so we're constantly bringing you so new content.
And you can also, of course, find us here on this SportsCastr Livestream.
And we're very excited to be partnering in with and looking for words that building this relationship through the remainder of the regular season.
Looking into the playoffs, the off season and then really expanding what we've been doing for you on a week to week basis focusing on the Giants game action.
We will do that this year.
But then, moving through the offseason looking at the 2020 season, you can expect that big presents from us here is, well, many thanks for any of you that joined in.
I know that there's obviously some Monday Night football action, and talking giants may not be big on your list of things to do right now.
The podcast that we racked up on Sunday night will be available tomorrow morning for you.
So you could go check that after your morning drive time.
Er, any point that you want.
And then Andi Mack, wits and myself will be coming in later in the week with what is our typical Friday morning.
Or, you know, find a drive time looking ahead at the following match up with the Green Bay Packers, talking about some of the players who want to highlight and for the most part, focusing in a lot of young players and seeing how they're progressing over the last remaining games because this is about assessment for the Giants and figuring out who could be a part of our future and who is maybe about toe fall by the wayside, as always for one giant podcast.
