All right, I'm back.
Sorry, I changed the name of my of my, uh, of my stream here and when I didn't wanna be misleading everything, but I'm gonna talk a little bit about Todd Gurley and sort of the Rams and Ravens.
And I'm gonna hit on some players, some injuries that moving forward for fantasy football will be sort of keys into keys.
Your roster to manage correctly.
Um, let a few more people trickle in first and my Internet's on a little bit of a lag.
So I still haven't seen this third down in the red zone by the Rams that I'm about to watch.
But what I can tell you is that Todd Gurley is looking.
I mean, maybe this is what he's looked like most of this season.
I just haven't watched a lot of Rams games.
To be honest with you, I just don't I don't see it with him.
I don't He's definitely lacking burst.
He's definitely lacking.
Um, speed, he His cuts look awful.
He looks like, you know, Uncle Frank, you can't quite hit that corner when you're playing football with him in the backyard, but it's not looking great but at the very least, he's made will stay on the field, which obviously helped you vanished purposes.
It's just not ideal.
It's not an ideal situation, obviously, with girly, Um, But you know, I think at this point, you really need to consider handcuffing him if you have him.
So taking that into consideration that people like Malcolm Brown he really won't have that much value.
If Girlie goes down in terms of fantasy football, and I think that, um, Henderson would be the dude tohave I mean, he's a rookie, He's got his issues.
But Malcolm Brown's just a guy.
He's just a dude.
He just back up and he's not special.
He sort of reminds me of like Peyton Barber for the Bucks.
That's who Malcolm Brown reminds me of.
So if anybody is ever going to, anybody's gonna take over that Ram's role.
If girlie goes down because his condition doesn't get better as the season goes on, it actually gets worse at some point.
If girlie goes now because you still at a high risk to go down, then Darryl Henderson would be the dude to ad for me.
So I guess we can start there.
I won't bury the lead here. I'll start with one's.
Carson wants is fine.
X rays were negative.
Tests and exams were negative.
They say he has a Bruce finger.
Doug Peterson came out and said he expects him to play this week, so I don't think there are any issues there.
But let's go back on the subject of of handcuffs.
So for fantasy football burps is considering handcuffs is something that's super important.
Um, we need to understand exactly who the running back would be that steps up.
And if that person will have, um, we'll take control most of the touches in the backfield.
So here, a list of of players who potentially well, might be on your waiver wire and potentially could have pretty significant roles if there if the starter went down.
So they're not super groundbreaking names.
Obviously, that's right. Quell arms.
Armstead, Alexander Madison and Tony Pollard.
And then I just mentioned Darryl Henderson and Jamal Williams, to a lesser extent, probably isn't on a lot of waiver wires, maybe in deeper leagues.
All these dudes have pretty significant value if the if their starter goes now and this is definitely the time of the year for fantasy football that you wanna consider having, you know, handcuffs.
Even if it's not your handcuff.
You know something happens, you could break away and when your fantasy league because of handcuff.
So that's something to consider on the Ravens side of the ball, since I did skip over that a little bit.
Marquees Brown, who scored two touchdowns tonight already in the first half, isn't struggling with this ankle injury.
I don't really know how much it's gonna continue to bother him.
Um, because he's obviously scoring.
He just super inconsistent.
Somebody dropped him in my league.
It's a 12 person league.
So I went to pick him up.
He's on my bench, so I mean, I'm not using him or anything.
So but ah, in terms of in terms of his, his his situation moving forward, Um, you know, he could be a nice little ad if somebody dropped him on your waiver wire.
So that's something to consider For the Ravens, Lamar Jackson is a little bit of an increased risk for taking hits and getting hurt.
So I always remember that Gus Edwards, I think, would be a good another hand due to add to the handcuff list.
Um, justice holders hasn't been doing anything.
Obviously, Miles Sanders was not the dude.
I mean, he had 12 for 63 this week when his starter went down, but he's still split carries, you know, so nothing to groundbreaking there.
So let's get into a few players and their replacements.
Um, first of all, go pick up David Njoku, David and Joe, who might not play this week.
But down the stretch tight end is so terrible that you might not have better options.
Maybe you're like a Hooper and Kelsey owner, and you had both Maura Hooper and, you know, it's owner even or something like that.
Then you probably find I put him on my i r.
He might not be active until week 14 but again, he's worth that roster spots.
And considering the state of the tight end position, Marlon Mack don't drop Marlon Mack.
Marlon Mac will be back by week 14 or 15.
Um, don't drop marlin back.
Somebody in my league dropped him.
I'm trying my best to pick him up.
I might not get him, but I'm gonna put in a bid for my only have three bucks left on my fatso Marlon Mack.
Go see if he's on your waiver wires because he might be.
So that leaves to a couple different players a few different ways.
I want to talk about James Connor.
Maybe consider picking up Benny smell.
Many still had, like 98 rush ours this week. He's not fantastic.
That offense isn't good.
But considering the fact that Snell sort of took control of that backfield with Connor out this week and also knowing that Corner's injury's gonna be at least two weeks, he was out.
He was out two weeks the last time it happened.
There's no it's not like he came back and all of a sudden you hit the reset button and he's completely healthy.
That shoulder's completely fine.
He's gonna be out at least another two weeks, so he's still got at least this week in the next week, potentially based off the hell it healing times for that injury.
It's 2 to 4 weeks, so Benny still might be somebody worth an ad.
Also, consider that James Connor might be out for the rest of the season potentially because, you know, if the Steelers air somehow still in second, I've seen North.
They're way behind the, um, waiting hand, the Ravens.
But there are in second Ah, and they're fighting for their life.
I doubt it happens, but you know, very they could very easily lose this week t to the Browns on.
And then they have a brutal matchup, brutal stretch of games.
I think after that they played the Bills.
I don't think they win that game.
The They could very easily just shut down James Connor.
At some point, I wouldn't be surprised.
It's not the Steeler style, unnecessarily, but from an injury perspective.
There's no way that he comes back and is completely healthy, even when he does come back.
So Benny smell somebody to invest in? If you couldn't get Jalen Samuels, you might have actually lucked out on the situation.
So, um, moving on, too.
We can talk about steak one.
I've been getting a lot of questions about sick one.
The truth of the matter is, I don't know exactly what's going on with him.
I need to go back and watch the film.
I need to watch how we how he's moving, what he looks like.
I need to see his burst.
I need to see what he's, how he's planning on that ankle.
I need to compare its his film from, you know, Week one.
Are we to or even last year? Last year's film.
I need to know exactly what's going on.
Before I could give a detailed ****ysis on what's going on.
But before I do that, I mean preliminarily, just go pick up when Goldman.
I'm not saying, like, Burn a roster spot like if you like.
I talked about, you know, marquees Brown and Marlon Mack.
I mean, if those dudes were one of those dudes are on your waiver wire, Goldman wouldn't take precedent over them.
Um, but he is somebody that you might consider adding, For now, if he's out there and he's cheap, you don't spend a ton of fab on him.
There's no guarantee, you know, last the Giants and so speaking the Steelers, who it's not their style of shutdown players.
That's exactly what the Giants did last year with Odell.
Around Week 15 I think, or 16 they just said he's he's done, he's gonna be shut down.
They have a history of doing this.
So that's something to consider.
I'm going to grab a Wayne Gallman deejay More R D J.
Moore did. David Johnson.
I wrote down D J.
Huh, Man, what's going on there? You don't think the Cardinals are gonna, you know, win the NFC West? Um, they're probably the fourth best team in that division.
So I'm split because, gosh, Lamar Jackson so fast.
Um, I'm split on Whether or not deejay actually has David Johnson has a legitimate injury.
I don't know if he's if it's still ailing him, because you don't think that the Cardinals who you know, let's see what their record record is at this point.
The Cardinals are fourth in the division, there's three and seven.
Even if they went out, which I would not expect they played, they'd be nine and seven. I mean, I guess it could.
It could happen because the Rams are bad, too, but they still be third in the division at best.
There's no way to go making the playoffs, and my thought process is that if David Johnson really was suffering from some sort of injury that you know, has been keeping him out this long or been preventing them from performing.
Then they would have put him on I r. By now.
But that just hasn't been the case, especially after the But maybe they're waiting to see how he responds after the by, I don't know, moral story here.
I would pick up Chase Edmunds.
I'd give him a whirl.
Um, he was dropped in a couple of my bigger leagues.
But, you know, even if he splits, cares Kenyon Drake, that volume, that offense has such a high volume that you might be it might be sustainable.
So consider Chase Edmunds.
Another dude who put out put up a big fat goose egg this weekend.
Uh, Marty Cooper has a chance to continue to put a big numbers.
Um, you know, he can come back and produce, and he probably will, But that doesn't mean that you can't consider grabbing copper or Devon Smith, who was, uh, when Gallup went out.
Devon Smith was a hot commodity, but, um, I don't know, something to consider that one's a little less.
That was a little deeper that was a little more of, Ah, thinking out loud.
Cooper's injuries haven't have been adding up, and they haven't been getting better.
And I don't necessarily expect that to expect his interest to get better as the season goes on.
Another wide receiver here is Golden Tate, who obviously got a concussion this week.
And considering that Golden Tate, I need to look that up.
That's what I forgot to do.
I need to see how many concussions is that he has.
Um, what I was going to say Lamar Jackson just stumbled to two yard line.
I'm sorry. I'm just watching this. Sorry, guys.
The one yard line.
Um, so Golden State has pito hand me so No, he doesn't have a history of I'm surprised, which is good.
Pleasantly surprised he doesn't have ah history of any concussions.
So he might be back this week is very likely that he comes back next week.
But every concussions different.
I might be looking at an inaccurate sports predictor injury.
Whatever people there.
Um but that means go grab dairy Slaten preemptively Go graph.
Go grab Stanley Shepherd preemptively because those two dudes like you have nothing else.
Girl say Kwan's not doing anything.
Um, Evan Ingram.
Probably not coming back this week.
Darius Layton and Sterling Shepherd could eat based off of pure volume.
Um, but again, if you look at their match up here tempting Week three Week 13 they play the Packers who have just hemorrhaging, man.
The Packers defense was a joke from the beginning.
I never thought they were good to begin with.
Sorry, Packers fans out there, but you know when Aaron Rogers came out. So we finally have a defense.
I didn't believe that for one second, because they don't that.
And, ah, the 40 Niners offense is not that good.
Guys, Um, they're just not Jimmy G's decent.
They have good skill players.
George Kettle makes good good plays on the ball after he catches the ball, but they're not stellar.
They're not like the Rams of 18 or the Chiefs.
The 40 Niners out offenses very average.
Um, and they made the Packers look absolutely silly last night.
So that's who the Giants play next week.
So consider Sterling Shepard and Dairy Slaten, especially if Golden Tate is still out last.
You don't talk about here is Eric Ebron in the fallout? Um, in terms of injury and fantasy stuff.
Eric Ebron eyes going on I r for his ankles.
Allegedly I don't know, I haven't really looked into.
I didn't know he was still hurt.
I didn't know he was hurt most of season, but he's gonna go on i r So he's done for the fantasy season and not necessarily the whole season, I guess.
Potential probably the whole season surgery.
Um, Devon Funches would be a very, very, very interesting ad for me.
He's Devin Funchess himself is still on i r.
But they just put, um, you know, since they just put Ebron I r they could take punches off.
Um, he's coming back from from a clavicle fracture, so it's not necessarily an injury that will limit him per se.
It's just one that they want to make sure is stabilized, is doing okay and won't re fracture when they do get out there again.
Um, considering that LeBron and Funches and Doyle are all pretty much the same dudes Ah, you know, I I would consider that I would think you think that this this coltsoffense, um who just her all over the place Would would throw the ball to Devin Funchess if he's active.
But of course, we need a way to see if he's active.
I think he's someone that I would definitely go on grab if you can.
If you can afford to go grab him because he might be back, at least for the fantasy championship, if not for the entire playoffs.
So that's it on Eric Ebron.
Those are all the injuries that I wanted to talk about tonight.
Moving forward, I really want to emphasize the importance of, um, these chronic injuries don't get better, guys.
So Mark Cooper, foot and thigh and me.
I think it's not necessarily getting better.
Um, say Quan ankle not getting better.
His shoulder is not in a better condition than it was two weeks ago.
What I'm trying to say is, as the season goes on these these issues tend to crop up and stay in linger.
They don't necessarily get better, so there's something considered it.
A lot of these. It's not like you really make a lot of moves.
It's just something that I wanted everybody to be aware of.
that the longer that the season wears on, the more likely players are, too.
Worsen their injury or get one, unfortunately, is just more exposure.
So that's something.
Appreciate the tip.
