all right? I don't know what just happened.
Just readily crashed, but yeah, my girlfriend's have striven in her bed right now.
Um, that's why I'm not normally where I am, but it, um So you ever gonna talk some mellow and Jamal Crawford? It's been, um it's been a rough start for Carmelo Anthony.
His numbers plus minus.
They're not good.
He's almost negative across the board.
Shooting numbers are pretty horrific.
They're losing games.
He was pretty bad on defense.
So basically all that we saw out of Carmelo when it came to on his concerns when he was in, um okay, see? And in Houston, which only lasted 10 games, they're still with him, and they're pretty evident in Portland.
And this is coming from someone who's a really big, mellow fan.
I want to see Miller do well in the Quran.
Just New York loves Carmon.
And, um, I think it's not really fair to duck him yet because he joined a team in disarray and didn't have their starting point guard and their injury throne.
And Anthony Tolliver was guarding ****ing Yonas Hansen, who go for quite a bit on that last game.
So against the books where he actually had a decent game.
I think he had 18 7 and four and shot the three ball world, but still, um, classic mellow stuff that people don't like.
I'm like him shooting the mid range shots, the post ops, um, the traffic own defense.
He just can't really close out on anybody effectively.
Um, there's not a lot there.
Um, I think in limit rolls, you can give you a little bit of scoring.
I mean, that's one thing that he's shown.
Is he? Still, he still king scored.
You still get Do is follow two decent amount.
What is when you start playing upwards of 2025 minutes? It's one really starts becoming a negative.
Go look at the numbers from his last few games.
I think they played to Dio.
Rather played the Cavaliers last night.
Yeah, he, uh, he had a pretty rough game is basically like what he's offering for the year.
He had 11 points, two rebounds, one assist, two steals, shot, 33% and obey from three on the year he's averaging 14 points per game.
Five gonna have rebound to assist 34% from the field and 31% from three.
You know, honestly, if you were to have less minutes on a better team, a little more limited role, it would probably be like 9 10 points per game, a little bit better of, Ah, a little bit better of efficiency.
Meaning it would be more beneficial to his team.
Would be less time.
That is out there on defense, especially in the fourth quarter, which he's been out there a lot in crunch time, which, honestly, that's a Miller's role.
He's he's not a crunch time defender.
We all know that.
And that's been evidence percent of thunder days.
When employ off Siri's, they just attack him, especially that Utah series, Um, but before the Trail Blazers, I guess it's the best option they have.
Um, I think overall, what is he? I don't think he's been a positively absolute at that.
No single game plus minus is not great.
But if you're constantly and negative for your team, um, if the eye test matches the statue, there's a reason for it.
And most defense, it is shooting of assumes.
Efficiency have been bad.
If you watch and he's been a negative um, at the end of every game.
So it's probably because of those two things, but single game plus minus sucks.
Uh, it's when you get a decent sample size, um, and some of the other A plus or minus and you've watched them.
They're really, really you're able Thio just really draw what is swaying that in what direction? Let's see, he's actually opposed to in the Cavs game, so that's good.
That's really the first time he was a plus.
Um, don't get late Thursday.
Yeah, in Milwaukee, in which is probably his best game.
Sister wives tickling input or simply in plus minus.
Not good. This was probably his best game.
He was a minus one. Okay, that's pretty good, too.
Yeah, he played well against Milwaukee than his first game.
I think he was by far his worst yet minus 20 of his first game, So I guess he's trying to get the right direction, but still, this is Mrs Brown is getting at with this whole mellow discussion.
He can help a game, and I think he is helping Portland.
There's just other issues with port.
What's going on.
But he shouldn't be a started That's for one, and he shouldn't be on the court at the end of the game.
That's for two, Um, because in those situations, if you're starting gunplay upwards of 2025 30 minutes, it's not Miller's role in 2000.
19,020 on he shouldn't be on the floor.
Thio indicate that's just not his role.
It'll end of quarters like last 56 minutes.
Little go out there. Shooters.
Middle range shots, provide some offense, hit some threes.
Um, then since then, he should be like an end of quarter guy to get your starter some rest.
Now, the problem is with the Blazers, they have so many injuries.
No, he has to play a little bit of center because no, Kage, he has to play some power forward because that Collins being hurt.
Um, even some small forward with, if 10 days more, it's not playing well, there are Mario Hezonja.
I mean, honestly, you're gonna want mellow more than Mario Hezonja.
Lookee here. Appreciate that, brothers.
Um, so yeah, that's why I'm with Melo.
Um, as a metal fan, I'm really happy he's back.
It's been awesome to watch him the whole double.
07 things cool? Um, he could help the team.
He is helping the Blazers.
There's other problems going on with the Blazers, but you she shouldn't be a starter.
You shouldn't be on the court down the game.
That's where you're just giving fuel to the fire, Um, of the mellow haters or just people that I mean, honestly critique him, Um, for what he's deserved.
I mean, he deserves some criticism.
That's where you really give them the fuel for the fire where he shouldn't be in the N b A.
Because look at this.
He gets blown up on this play in a crucial part of the game.
But then I just come back and I'm like, You shouldn't be on the court and that's not his role begins as 19.
That's where I am with Melo and then with Jamal Crawford.
There's been ah, whole discussion.
Um, this week on Twitter with ah started last week with him saying that it baffles him how he's not in the N B A right now.
He knows he could still play, and I mean that that's right.
To think anyone should be like You shouldn't be like No, it makes sense why I'm not in the MBA.
So I had no problem with him saying that, and I have no problem with the team picking him up.
I think he can help the team put it depends.
Um, there's discussions going on with Dave before and Brian or injure of, um, who are both smart people in the community.
Um, that Jamal Crawford hasn't been a positive player.
Send 1,014,015 on the previous year.
He wanted six man.
And if you really do go back and look at the numbers across the board, Jamal Crawford was a negative, uh, offensively and defensively, even the year that he won six.
Man of the Year.
Um, he provided some things for the Clippers that they needed in, like shot creation and just secondary ball handler.
But the point still stands.
Hay was well below the efficiency.
Um, the year he even 1/6 Man of the Year last his field goal percentage was way down is true.
Shooting percentage play down.
Field goal percentage of lay down three point percentage. Three down.
Um, and he's just been on a downward spiral ever since last year.
He was a negative six overall for the Sons, and he didn't even provide anything for them for offensively to now if he didn't have that 50 point, UM game, which was like last game of the season, I think we would be really looking at tomorrow.
But he, of course, he ends the season with that little glimmer of hope, given us a 50 point game where he just looked like his like his old self.
Um so that's why I think people are so confused why it's not in the MBA.
There's a lot of reasons why if you go and look at the stats composed on my phone right now, I hate to be such stat guy, but I watched the MBA constantly on dumb.
If you're against stats, then I don't know why you really watch sports because they tell us what we see.
You know, there's times where steps, um, go against what the eye is, and no one uses those steps.
They are aware that's a bad that, but let's go and look at Jamal.
Crawford wants you.
We've pulled the events metrics.
So, um, offensive box four plus minus and Defense box were plus minus.
Um, let's go back.
Let's go back a few years.
Matilda was last year with the Clippers, 2016 17 and do it the last three years.
So in 16 4017 he was a negative one and negative three.
Offensive, Black, Box, Bos minus and, um, defensive.
So he's even a negative on offense.
That year, it's treated, released or whatever it was.
He traded to the Hawks and then released, and then he signed with the two rules.
Here's a negative four offensively for them, and the whole talk was that Jamal Crawford was really bad for them, for both both reasons often silly and defensively, He actually was 0.
1 worst offensively, which is nothing, because it's essentially a negative four on offense, the negative four on defense and then last year for the Sun's easily his worst year.
Its oldest. You're in the NBA.
He was a negative for in a negative six.
Ah, he also in those years shot the ball.
What's he his percentages? 36% from 3 33% from three and 33% from 3 41 from the field, 41 from the field and 39% from the field.
So, um, it's just getting to the point where, um, he's really only going to be on a team and a roster.
Uh um, ordering food real quick.
Oh, he's only really get around a team if he really needs it.
Like a team that really needs just someone who can create their own shop.
Um, it doesn't matter if it's going down a decent rate at some point.
Just shot Creation just helps the flow of an offense just little bit.
Or having a secondary ball handler out there can really just hope.
Now there's better options for teams, but sometimes get desperate and they truly need it.
One team that I've that I've really thought about it and think that they truly truly need him right now because won their offense is bad when they're healthy and to their two best offense.
Blair Scott Hurt is the Orlando Magic.
Um, Bruce vich and recording Bold spring their ankles with in place of each other the other night with one of the most stagnant offenses and worst offenses in the NBA.
Now, with them out.
You're gonna be relying on guys like Jonathan Isaac Mo Bamba Game, Birch, um, to try and create their own shots.
And the guys that can on that team are Marco fold.
Can't really shoot the ball.
Uh, Terrence Ross, 70 down here for the last year.
D. J. Augustine.
He's a fine lawyer book.
He's a fine player.
Um, that's normally like, really everyone. Evan. Foreign Yang.
You mean he's a decent shot creator for himself? He's better spotting up in shooting threes.
So this is a team right now that just desperately need some offense from somewhere.
It doesn't even matter.
Um, Jamal Crawford.
What he did for the Sun's last year would help the Magic right now, just out of necessity now, when the their best offense players come back and they're healthy.
Jamal Crawford wouldn't see the court anymore, But I think Jamal Crawford can help some teams.
Um, that's probably one of the only few.
Maybe the Pistons, the hole Laker Jamal Crawford conversation I've seen on Twitter is not.
Not with the Lakers.
Need the Lakers.
Don't need Jamal Crawford going out there and taking possessions and the ball in the hand out of better players.
I mean, flat out on a LeBron team.
You want the ball in the Bronx and you want it now with 81 19 eighties.
And, um, as with all the flaws that Rondo has, I would rather the ball being Rondo's Pan, especially in like 1/4 quarter just because he's not gonna put off a bad shot.
And he's just study ball handler veterans over the ball and he'll find one of those shooters.
Um, Ron is also about defender, but Jamal Crawford historically, even its prime time is one of the worst.
So I mean, um, see, that's where I'm at with the Mellow and Jamal Crawford something.
I think Melo can help teams if he doesn't end the year on Trump.
Hey may get picked up by another team or if they just release him because day I'm gonna make the playoffs and Mellow wants to play for contender than I think.
I think that's possible to Jamal Covert.
I don't know if he doesn't get picked up right now by a team like the Magic that desperately needs a shot creation, Not even just like efficient offense, just shot creation because they don't have anyone that really can.
I'm not sure if tomorrow Harvard's gonna be back in the N b A.
Um, for a team like the Lakers that has been connected to, I think it's just because the Lakers and he played for the Clippers and just you put those two together.
Um, but I don't I don't see that.
I mean, the Lakers need a guy like Gigi.
We'll see if he gets bought out, But that's not the type of wing that they need s Oh, yeah, I think Melo can help the Blazers.
They gotta put him in the right positions to succeed And Jamal Crawford.
I think he could help a team like the Magic right now who need your some shock creation and some offense from somewhere.
Um, no matter where it's from or how efficient it is or isn't, um you could just a lot of time just by getting to a spot being secondary ball handler, correcting alone, shot.
So that's all for this room on a mellow and Jamal Crawford.
They've been enticing conversation on social media and Twitter and in the media this year, and people have their opinions on Jamal Crawford is great.
Still, he can really help a team stupid.
He's not picked up.
And then the people that air Jamal Crawfords horrible is no place in the n B A.
They're also wrong.
Um, a shot creations valuable.
His efficiency and his defense is not, um so it really is just cir***stantial when it comes to him.
I think you can really help the magic.
And, uh, I would love that signing for them, but that's a for the stream.
Everybody that came in, uh, we live in a little bit again.
