This is Alex from unwrap sports here to break down NFL Week 11 Sunday ****ysis.
This is just on Sunday.
I actually do a video right after Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday Night Football.
If you want to get more in depth on those and hear my takes on those, they are in my viewing libraries to go ahead and take a look at those interested.
Let's go and start right off with Houston at Baltimore.
Baltimore got a very impressive victory, 41 to 7 in a game where I thought it would be more of a shootout.
It was quite the opposite.
Lamar Jackson continues to add to his MVP caliber season his ability to move around the pocket as well as make plays with his legs.
Lamar had the ability had the Texans defense on its heels all game.
Ravens defense had a day themselves with six acts of fumble, recovered in an interception off Watson.
With constant pressure in his face.
He was unable to connect with Hopkins on any big plays and by that I am referring to anything that was larger than 21 yards and up.
Watson and company have shown the ability to put a points.
But the Ravens defense, a unit who kept the Patriots and checked prevent prevented this offense from getting started.
Carlos Hyde ran the ball well.
I expect Houston to tryto re establish the run game moving forward.
I think he's shown a lot of promise and ability to kind of take advantage of what the defense gives him.
And that's definitely something they need to establish with a very tight race now that they are in with the Indianapolis Colts moving forward.
Next, I have the Atlanta Falcons at the Carolina Panthers, 29 3 victory After what seemed to be a complete and total Dumpster fire in Atlanta, the Falcons have won their second straight game and in impressive fashion, Falcons defense one who's struggled mightily early on kept Christian McCaffrey out of the end zone, a feat only done by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in Week two.
With the season that is ultimately a long shot for the Falcons, they have no problem going down fighting something that should be very encouraging.
The Falcons fans and those who keep up with the Falcons for the Panthers, the performance of cow Alan should make fans walked back their trade Cam Newton tweets.
Although he has struggled since last season, Cam Newton still presents the best talent of quarterback currently on the roster.
Alan had a barber himself with four interceptions.
If you would have made those interceptions, this would have been a very good game based on the stats.
But overall, he just made too many bad reads and put his team in a position where they couldn't really get going at all.
Panthers look hard pressed that they're currently out on the outside looking in two and 1/2 games back of the New Orleans Saints.
Next, we have the Dallas Cowboys of the Detroit Lions.
Dak Prescott continues to throw the ball well with an exceptional game, 444 yards and three touchdowns.
He may be a long shot for M V P, but you know he's definitely performed very well.
He isn't necessarily the quote unquote problem with Cal with the Dallas Cowboys in closing some of these games, Elliot struggling in this game, he wasn't able to get much going through the ground, something that I think is very concerning for them moving forward As you know, this could have been avoided.
If Zeke you, Elliot, you know, could have gotten the ball rolling earlier.
Detroit Lions, or one of three teams that have led in all of the games that they have played in.
What happened to have the worst record at 36 and one? You know, Johnson and Stafford's injury can shoot them, you know, a little bit of bail for, you know, the way they've play the in some of these closer games, but they're just missing that resilience factor that they had early on.
You know, for example, against the Chargers when they got that late interception off of Philip Rivers, you know, go into one of his main targets, Keenan Allen.
And, you know, as of right now, they have lost more than double their win total.
Now, um, 36 and one Lions, you know, it's gonna turn into what is a, you know, ah, season to kind of see what they have.
You know, they've kind of seen how effective Driscoll's been, you know, with the injury to Johnson, you know, they're looking at there running back death, and as of right now, nobody on the Detroit running back depth chart has done anything to really separate themselves from carry on at the moment.
So something to look for four on the next couple games is how Beau plays.
We have the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Indianapolis Colts Colts out this victory, 33 13.
Nick Foles, first game back, is spoiled by process returned to the lineup.
Percent has been impressive with his ability to be smart with the ball, his ability to be elusive in the pocket and keep plays alive, something that I think will only get more dangerous when t.
Y Houghton comes back.
Which looks to be the case in this upcoming game against the Texans.
Marlin Mad cut himself a game with 109 yards.
I believe all in the first half and a touchdown, But he did go down with a fractured hand, something that should keep him out for about 3 to 4 weeks if we're being very optimistic.
With Wilkins out, Jonathan Williams stepped up and had himself 160 yards on the ground.
Jaguars defense could not stop the run regardless of whoever the ball carrier was and with the Colts.
Their offensive line has just been immaculate.
There was a play where Quinton Nelson was, you know, on the left side.
And he was, you know, he saw no one was coming on his his assignment area, and he sees somebody one of the defensive lineman for the Jaguars coming for his quarterback has the instincts and awareness to get from his guard position to that outside position.
Hold the block to allow the the flower power set to make a play, which is beyond impressive.
To have a offensive lineman that you know, has the awareness to make a play if they have the ability to do so.
And you know, they did give him the opportunity to run the ball.
And now we have that kickstand touchdown celebration that I think is gonna be one of the NFL's best by the time the season ends.
After someone, uh, see Jaguars on the outside looking in with the court's putting themselves in a great situation where it's basically went to get a lead in the A F C South as they face the Texans on Thursday nights.
Next, we have the Buffalo Bills at the Miami Dolphins, 37 20.
Josh Allen has played exceptionally well down the line, with 256 256 yards passing, 56 yards rushing and four touchdowns.
Three were through the air.
His development has really shown, and he continues to get the Bills in position of wind.
The Dolphins are not a team to really sleep on, like the Colts and Jets found out.
They can get you when you sleep on them.
With Walton be running back who seemed to have the most promise for the Dolphins.
That may have been the reason why they were so willing to get rid of Kenyon.
Drake is currently in some hot water with a domestic violence arrest, and from what I've seen, it's a second off.
You know of the type of situation biology needs to really step up.
He had nine carries for nine yards.
He has a really big opportunity toe solidify himself to kind of earned his roster spot for the next year.
So expect Balash to kind of have added motivation on his plate for this next game.
But, you know, John Brown is quietly been having a great season.
You know, he has over 800 yards throughout the season and put up 100.
Very impressive for what a lot of people thought.
Beasley was kind of be the possession receiver for Josh Allen.
Buffalo is a stronghold of the number five seed, while Miami is currently in the mix for a top five pick.
Now we have the Denver Broncos at the Minnesota Vikings.
Vikings pulled off a impressive victory, 27 23 in a game that ultimately looked like it was going to the Broncos.
How do I say this? It was going to be one of those kind of, you know, Maybe this will change there, trajectory and the way their season ends.
But you know that they came up to an early 20 I believe 20 lead at halftime, and I believe it was like zero for 99 like the team's record when they've been in that situation.
Kirk Cousins on.
I give him a lot of credit because a lot has been said about his ability to close games against teams that are good.
You know, obviously, you know, the Broncos aren't necessarily that team, but, you know, down 20 you know what we have seen from Kirk Cousins in the two seasons prior, You wouldn't think he'd be ableto get his team out of this hole, but he really did step up with 319 yards and three touchdowns.
And what looks to be the weakest link on this team has now solidified himself as a.
I'm gonna go out and say a great quarterback, you know, he's definitely turned the gripes from feeling and digs into the ah, you like that cousins coming out coming out of the woodwork.
So for the Vikings, I think it's a huge plus toe.
Have cousins being the performer he's been.
Add that with cooks.
Add that with feeling coming back and ****s kind of taking this complimentary roll back.
They are one of those dangerous teams to look out for in the NFC.
Next, we have the New Orleans Saints at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 34 17.
Saints secure business against the Bucks as Winston continues to add to his lead leading interception total 18 with four against the Saints down big early books were forced.
Throw the ball 51 times and we're only able to get 17 points out of that unless Bruce Arians thinks he can really get Winston back on track.
This maybe be the last season.
We see him as a starter, at least for the Buccaneers.
No real development.
He continues to kind of be the quote unquote gun slinger.
But to you, no no avail.
Breeze look great.
You know, the thumb looks to not be an issue that we don't have to worry about anymore.
Two and 28 yards through the air, three touchdowns.
Mike Thomas continues his impressive reception total with 8 414 and a touchdown, consistently one of the league's best at wide receiver, and is currently in position to knock off Marvin Harrison as having the most receptions in a season.
He currently has 94.
Next game we have here is the New York Jets at the Washington Redskins, 34 17 victory for the Jets.
Sam Darnold showed his potential with the four touchdown game and continues to really build chemistry with his tight end.
Griffin, five catches, 100 9 yards and a touchdown in Jamison Crowder five catches, 76 yards and a touchdown.
It was a lot of concern, with Griffin being the number two tight end and him having so much opportunity with Herndon being out, it's great to see it see him, you know, really establish himself as a great tight and target for Sam Darnold and, you know, for crowd.
Or it was, you know, he was obviously looked as the number two guy.
And, you know, there was a game where it looked like Donald in Anderson.
We're gonna be the kind of the show of the Jets offense for the passing game.
Crowder's really stepped himself up into becoming a real possession receiver for this team and someone they could definitely, you know, build off of, you know, they have a lot of pieces.
I just think Donald's injury and just a couple of, you know, bad games.
I mean, this team with, you know, a couple more additions on this offense, a couple more additions on that defense they keep. Your aunt was happy.
This could be a very dangerous team next season, but I'm very impressed with the passing attack of the Jets.
It's something that they need to really build off of, to kind of know what direction they need to go in the draft.
Belle has yet to really blow up in any game this season through the ground, but really continues to be a trustworthy receivers through the back through out of the backfield.
For the Redskins, there was a disappointing scene that was recorded where Haskins is talking to his linemen, trying to see what he could do to help them, regardless, what he meant.
It was a really sad see seem to see a young quarterback try to get his teammates going and then, kind of being about it.
Haskins did play better and, you know, should continue to build off this game.
I was actually very impressed by Geiss.
You know he got one less carry than Adrian Peterson, but his ability to kind of run with the ball He got one reception turned that off into a 45 yard touchdown grab, which was consequently the first touchdown for the Redskins and 16 quarters.
It's impressive to see that, as you know, he did lose his first season to injury.
He did lose a good chunk of the season.
He looked great. He moved very well.
Definitely someone I think the Redskins could build off of.
I think they are gonna really put guys to the test in the next couple of weeks, So that would be something to really look out, especially if he's still available in fantasy.
I don't really talk too much about fantasy.
I picked him up, got me 13.
4 points in 1/2 PPR league.
So definitely someone I would consider keeping an eye on next I have is the Arizona Cardinals at the San Francisco 40 Niners 40.
Niners pulled out this victory 36 26.
Cardinals took an early lead but turned the ball over and got the 40 Niners back into the game collar.
Mary accounted for three scores and definitely should be an exciting player to watch these next two games.
Cardinalsoffense looks to be in good hands.
That was something I know a lot of people were concerned about. You know his size.
Can he really translate his college game to this to the NFL? He has really shown that he can.
I think this Cardinals team has found their franchise quarterback.
I have been beyond impressed with this team.
He's, you know, improved on all the things that I would that I have said throughout the season early on that he needs to improve on.
He's done that and, you know, continues to be a bright spot for this team.
David Johnson was active but did not get any carries for a team that traded for Kenyon Drake.
It is very concerning to see his usage, you know, going forward.
You know, I know it looks like he's hurt.
I mean, it kind of looks like a situation like Cam Newton where he's hurt, but he's trying to fight it through.
But you know, the fact that they got Kane, Kenyon Drake is very concerning to me.
I hope that they can have a healthy David Johnson down the line, but there may be a surprise shut down for him if if it's something that's lingering as it looks like it has 40 Niners defense did get exposed early but was able to shut the door when it was needed the most, with the last second last second formal recovery touchdown to kind of close the door.
On this game, 40 Niners have played very well with an injured Sanders without breed a Kittle.
Garoppolo has a lot of improvement needed in his passing game.
To really solidify this team as a riel, you know, threat through the air.
But you know, he played exceptionally well in this game when they needed into.
In three games where Garoppolo has had to be the guy to win the game, he's won two of them.
I would be happy if I was a 40 Niner friend that that is impressive to see and you know he's gonna get better.
He has the ability that to kind of lean on his running game, you know, in his defense, which is great for any any young quarterback, as he's barely over 16 17 games into his NFL career and starts.
So definitely something to look forward to, especially with this game as their running game, their bread and butter was not existent.
Next, we have these Cincinnati Bengals at the Oakland Raiders.
Raiders get a hard fought victory, 17 10 in what some described as a blowout game for the Raiders.
In their predictions, Bengal showed life and fight toe only lose by seven.
This victory was impressive for both teams, and I will explain why Bangles or hurt they turned to another quarterback they benched Andy Dalton.
There's still without a J.
Green, and John Ross, who looked to show promise early, is still currently on I R.
And they were still a Burt if he's able to be competitive for the Raiders.
They struggled to get things going early but were ultimately able to pull this game out.
Regardless of how you get the win, it's the ability to win the games when you're not at your best.
That, I think, shows a bigger picture of the team that you are.
You know, Raiders have shown that, and they look to be putting up a fight for that ABC West crown with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Car played well and was able to make the necessary place to keep his team in the game.
And Josh Jacobs is impressed with his running ability with another 100 yard game.
Very impressed by this Ricky, I think he's If I'm not blinking out right now, I think he should be in lead for offensive rookie of the year.
If you know Jacobs can keep himself, uh, with this type of production, this team could be a real threat.
With the emergence of Waller and Williams for Derek Carr.
Next game we have is the New England Patriots at the Philadelphia Eagles.
17 10. New England.
In the game that slipped out of their hands, angular, the Eagles had a real opportunity to sneak a win from the Patriots.
The Eagles defense was able to not only hold doing with 17 points, but the Eagles offense had multiple opportunities to, you know, get themselves in a position to win the running game.
Definitely, Miss Jordan Howard, as Saunders really couldn't get much against the stout New England run defense.
I think Jordan Howard might have fared a little better.
He's, Ah, veteran runner, definitely.
You know, not shy of contact, and, you know, it might have been able to really kind of burst through a little better.
Agler had a tough drop in the back of the end zone as the Eagles fell short.
Eagles would have been in a great position to keep up with the Cowboys, but now fall one game behind just makes the next matchup.
They have the Eagles in the Cowboys that much more important as they are fighting for that division crown.
All right, guys, thank you guys for tuning in.
Uh, like I said earlier in the broadcast, I do Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday night separately.
As you know, I usually like to do it after the game when you know everybody still fresh on that game.
So I check out my page and see those.
If you'd like to get the breakdown on those, I will be back in about 2 to 3 minutes to do my NFL.
Thank you guys for watching.
