dear Pats Nation.
I'm sure by now you've all either seen or heard that Antonio Brown issued an apology to Robert Kraft via Twitter and Instagram.
As soon as I saw that tweet, I thought, No, don't do that.
Now find mentions are gonna go crazy.
People kept asking me my thoughts on the matter, like my opinion really matters at all.
But I appreciate you reaching out to me and I don't take for granted that I'm somewhat of a representative of Pats Nation.
Follow me on Twitter and Instagram at DPM Underscore Rate.
Anyways, I wanted to let the apology percolate before I made any sort of response.
So if I really had to give an opinion, it's this.
Antonio Brown is a top three wide receiver, arguably the best receiver in the NFL.
Why would the Patriots not want his talent? I'm not asking why they would not want a be the person, but why would they not want a B the football player? We got a very short sample of what Antonio Brown and Tom Brady could do.
I'm assuming that a B was initially cut because of his inability to stop being stupid.
The Patriots stuck by him after his accusations became public.
They played him weak, too.
They were prepared to play him Week three, but Antonio Brown Group texted his friends and his lawyer about one of his accusers.
Maybe lots of people would do that.
But you know what they wouldn't do include the ink user in the text.
Robert Kraft didn't tell Bill Bala check to cut him because he was but hurt, which, by the way, is the worst phrase in the English language.
He told Bill Belichick to cut him because he was stupid, all a B had the Jewess sit quiet and he would still be a patriot Today, I don't think the text about craft is even a factor.
Just last week, Brown cursed out the NFL and said he was never going to play in the league again.
Now he's apologizing to craft.
Tomorrow he may tell the pope that he's an idiot, and on Saturday he may fly to the Vatican and apologize in person.
That's what is stopping Antonio Brown from plain for the Patriots.
So the $1,000,000 question do I want the Patriots to re sign Antonio Brown? Yes, 100% Yes.
Do I think it's gonna happen? No.
But like the rest of you, I can dream, can't I? And for everybody who's mad at me now and says Antonio Brown is a bad guy in a stain on the Patriots history.
For those of you that are gonna hold yourself to some moral high ground and look down on the rest of us, I would just like to remind you that you cheer for a team that's associated with the Flake eight Spy Gate.
Aaron Hernandez, Julian Edelman via 2011.
Robert Crafts Special massage.
Brandon Browner was a Super Bowl champion with the Patriots, the Patriots organization, and the Bill Belichick era is covered in stains.
I just don't care, and I cheer for them anyways, so you need to get over yourself.
So yeah, if for some reason Robert Kraft is cruising around YouTube reading my posts, listening to a small time youtuber talk about the Patriots, please sign Antonio Brown.
Mr Kraft, help your other son, Tom Brady.
Forget all about mega because it's all time for Mama Paga.
Make the Patriots great again.
Sincerely, your boy Ray, what's going on, everybody.

I got tons of stuff to talk about.
I'm gonna take a deeper dive on whether the Patriot should sign Antonio Brown.
I'm gonna talk about what we should expect with Isaiah Winds return.
I'm gonna talk about why Bill Belichick would not have been a successful coach in Dallas.
Is Michael Bennett gonna be looking for revenge on the Patriots of Bill Bala? Check this Sunday.
Jake Bailey, for the second time in his young career, has been specially selected a special teams player of the week.
And believe it or not, Jason Whitlock believes that he has found the secret sauce toe beating the New England Patriots.
All that and more here on D p n.
Don't forget, you can join me here on SportsCastr every single day of the week between 10 and 10. 30.

Make sure you hit that subscribe button.
Make sure you hit that like button? Well, that being said, let's get this thing going because here a DP and we like football.
We like football season and everything that goes with it.
Now, before I really get into the meat of things, just a couple of quick hits.
That's actually really only one quick it, but Mohammed Sunu and Philip Door set.
We're both absent from Patriots practice today.
So knew, of course, hurt his ankle returning a punt against the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday and Philip Thor set suffered a concussion.
Rumor has its new could be out for a couple of weeks, which will obviously impact the Patriots drastically if Phillip Dorsett isn't able to go either.
Julian Edelman will be flanked with Jacoby Meyers and the keel hairy as pass catchers for the Pats.
Of course, gonna Rochelle Ski went on the I R today to make room for yesterday to make room for Isaiah win.
That's gonna put a lot of pressure on Tom Brady to try to get going with an offense that hasn't been the greatest.
That's why maybe we should discuss should the Patriots consider bringing back Antonio Brown.
Now I know that This is a split subject amongst people, and I've read articles that said the Patriots shouldn't go down this stream.
That would be stupid to be a bad look on the organization, and I've seen other articles that say You got to re sign him.
I've seen fans who want, um, fans that don't, but it is what it is.
I read an article today by Brandon How that kind by a non musket wire and you could read the entire article over.
There is a long, lengthy article, but it talked a lot about the Patriots offense and a lot of about Antonio Brown.
And I pulled out a couple of snippets from that article because I thought it made a lot of sense about what again.
So here's how it starts. It's all right.
I'm just gonna say it.
The Patriots need to re sign Antonio Brown whatever side of the fence.
You may be on about the whole initial aid. Be experiment.
Whatever feelings about him or you may not have put all of that aside for a moment and hear me out.
The Patriots offense has managed just 37 combined in points in their last two games.
To put that in perspective there 1st 8 games of the season, they scored 30 plus in six of them.
The offense had already become a growing problems and week leading up to the Ravens Ravens game.
And experts have had their doubts about the legitimacy of this Patriots team since the start of the season.
But now, more than ever, the Patriots need a spark, and I know that this article is really surrounded a round Antonio Brown.
But it's also surrounding the subject that has been a big topic of conversation.
What is going on with the Patriots offense and how do they fix it? And normally in these kind of situations you would talk of in the past, you talk about, get Gronkowski going, get Adelman going, get Amendola going, get Chris Hogan going, get the guys that have been there, done that.
That doesn't exist this year.
There's no Josh Gordon on this team.
He's in Seattle.
There's no dough. Marius Thomas.
I think he's on the I R.
But he's in New York.
If Mohammed Sunu is out for a couple of weeks, you're talking about an undrafted free agent and Jacoby Meyers in the keel.
Harry, who has played one professional game of his entire life, being the two leading pass catchers for Tom Brady.
Down the stretch in the meat in the heart of the Patriots schedule, they had to play the Dallas Cowboys, who I will talk about Maur this week and how they're actually pretty Lee evenly matched teams.
And this isn't a game that I think the Patriots could just rely on their defense that continuously bail them out.
The offense is gonna need to generate points.
And if the new isn't there, I mean, you're talking, you know, if if endorse set isn't there, you're talking big problems going into this weekend.
Here's how, um, here's how how finished up his article, he said, I think about it for a minute.
The offense is so bad right now that the Patriots had the ball at the Eagles four yard line and didn't run the ball a single time.
Plus, there was a bad drop by Adelman and a bad pass by Brady that should have been easily intercepted.
It is one game of the Patriots uniform.
Brown caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins in South Beach.
He and Brady looked to be like peanut butter and jelly connection, a peanut butter connecting on and off the field effortlessly.
Since Brown's departure, Brady has been relying on Julian Edelman, Philip Door Sat, Mohammed Sunu, Jacoby Meyers, Gunner Oshinsky, Matt Lacoste and Ben Watson.
First round draft choice McKeel Harry also made his regular season debut last weekend after being placed on the i R to start the season with Rob Gronkowski closing the door on a potential return.
This to the NFL the season.
The Patriots are running out of options on offense, with a be sitting at home, begging for a return to the league and wanting to contribute to a team, particularly the Patriots.
It seems it makes little to no sense as to why New England wouldn't give him a second chance if the allegations surrounding him right now proved to be unfounded in the NFL's official investigation.
I have to agree with him at the moment.
I don't see a reason except for Robert Hurt being a Robert Kraft being hurt by Antonio Brown coming out and calling him out again, and I talked about it in my little, you know, introduction of my letter to Pats Nation.
I know some of you already read that, uh, you know, read that letter on on my post on YouTube today.
It's, but it's I mean it when I say it.
The Patriots has a dark stained history in this Brady Bala check era.
I've never been one to run from it.
You know, Tyson over a master works formally kissed the rings formally. Bling dynasty.
He's never ran from the history of the Patriots.
People call us cheaters.
I always safety ain't cheating.
The ain't trying.
We can't deny that Aaron Hernandez wasn't a patriot.
We can't deny that Brandon Browner wasn't a pager.
We can't deny that Julian Edelman had similar accusations against him in 2011.
We can't deny that Robert Kraft was nailed in a spot this year.
Getting more than a back rub.
The Fleet Gate happened.
Spy Gate happened, and look, we could rationalize it all day.
Just like every team in the league.
The Patriots are staying.
There's no team in the NFL that's not stained.
Kansas City Chiefs.
They got Tyree kill the Baltimore Ravens that got Ray Rice, Cleveland Browns got cream hunt right now and so on and so on and so on.
We could make a list of names, you know, Ray Lewis and just Warren Sapp.
It's a huge list of things, so I'm not worried about a stain on the organization.
I'm not worried about a distraction in the locker room.
The only reason that the whole baby thing would be a big story right now because you return to the Patriots.
It would reopen up the media, but it would be a lot like the Tyreke thing.
After a while, it would.
It would eventually go away, right? Eventually, it really does just become about football, and we're getting to the point of the season now, when it is just about football.
And when's the last time you heard, except for some guys on Twitter talking about, You know, Antonio Brown are talking about Tyree kill? You know you don't hear the media calling them out.
And yeah, it's always gonna be harder on the Patriots.
Rob Parker is gonna be harder on the Patriots and and Nick, right? And Max Kellerman and all of those kind of guys.
Stephen a Smith, whoever.
They're always gonna be harder on the pages because the Patriots are a ***y story to talk about.
But away from that, they're not gonna be dealing with anything that other teams aren't dealing with already.
So I'm at a point right now to where I'm just saying, Why not bring back Antonio Brown if he helps us win a Super Bowl? If we get to add another ring to the six that we already have of another, Lombardi sits in its rightful place in New England.
If if the if the Patriots tie the Buffalo Bills record of four straight Super Bowls if they beat the Steelers record of seven Super Bowl titles, The stain of Antonio Brown is not gonna be glaring.
And that's just my opinion.
I know that this is a contentious conversation.
I know that it's a split decision down the middle.
I know some of you hated some of you like it.
I happen to be on this side of it.
You might be on the other side of it.
That's the beauty of sports.
We can have disagreements.
We don't have to agree with each other, but I think One thing that we can agree with is that we do not have to talk about Marshall Newhouse anymore.
I think that we are thrilled that we do not have to deal with a sub par offensive linemen because Isaiah Win has officially been activated off the i r.
It wasn't even like in the keel Harry Thing where Bill Belichick waited until Saturday.
He was back on Tuesday, the day he was eligible to be activated to the roster.
Isaiah when was activated to the roster.
Let's let's look at it a little bit deeper.
Zach Cox and Nason wrote a really great article today, talking about Isaiah Win and what Patriot fans could expect from winning and again another long, long, beautifully written article.
I didn't I don't have the whole thing here has got little bits of it, but it starts with this.
How can Isaiah win help the New England Patriots in his return from the injured reserve? Just ask Bud to pre the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pass rushers squared off against the New England's young left tackle close to three dozen times back in Wheat Week one and barely laid a finger on Tom Brady after eight weeks on the I R, where he also spent his entire rookie season win, was activated to the Patriots 53 man roster Tuesday in his expected to start on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
And while his sample size is undoubtedly small, everything that Georgia product has shown us far suggests he will be a significant upgrade over Marshall Newhouse, his temporary replacement.
Now I am not taking anything away from Isaiah.
I think he's a great player.
If he can stay healthy, he could become a long term staple on the offensive line for the Patriots.
But right now, I almost feel like if I went and put on £20 I would be a significant upgrade over Marshall Newhouse and how he's played Marshall Newhouse has been an absolute liability for the New England Patriots since the moment he stepped onto the fields.
Tom Brady has spent more time running for his life.
Tom Brady has had the Mist open receivers because he's busy trying to escape a pocket that's collapsing from the left side.
If Isaiah win is 10% better, 10% better than Marshall Newhouse, we're going to see a significant upgrade to the Patriots offense this weekend, the article continued.
Brady began hyping winds return weeks ago, and it's easy to see why New House has been a liability in the stead, allowing more sacks.
Six per football focus pro football focus than the rest of the starting offensive line combined a five.
The Patriots have allowed Tom Brady since Wind got injured to be sacked 11 times, and Marshall Newhouse has allowed six of them.
The veteran journeymen also leads the team in total pressures allowed with 29 has committed three penalties tied for the most amongst Patriots lineman among tackles who have played 100 plus snaps this season, Newhouse ranks 52nd in Pff, past blocking grade 63.
4 and 73rd and run blocking grade at 51.2.
The nimbler, more athletic win is known more for his past blocking prowess, but having a back in the mix should provide a boost in both areas.
I mean, how could you not agree with anything that he just said right March? New house has been a disaster, and as I read that I was cringing because I just started thinking about more and more this season and some of the fare UN criticism that Tom Brady has taken because of Marshall Newhouse.
I thought about the unfair criticism that Sony Michelle has taken because of Marshall Newhouse.
The Patriots haven't been able to run the ball to the left side because of Marshall Newhouse.
Marshall Newhouse should be thrilled that he does not have to play another game for the New England Patriots.
I don't think I've ever been this excited about an offensive lineman returning like I really feel like it's a first round draft pick.
I am or excited about Isaiah Win playing against the Dallas Cowboys than I was about McKeel Harry playing against Philadelphia last week.
And you know what? I know those people out there going.
Oh, he's injury prone.
He's washed up while he's a roster walk ways to spot a shut up.
You know what? The kids had some problems with them. Some injuries.
It always makes me laugh when Patriot fans talk about injury prone players like they're this plague on the team.
You worship at the feet of Rob Gronkowski, who was injured more than any Patriot I can ever remember, So shut up already with this whole injury thing and just gonna get hurt again.
Why don't you just enjoy the fact that he's coming back? It is not everybody I know it's not.
I just find that the critical ones with loudest that never shut up.
You know, the real levelheaded fans who understand what this team is and who they are.
I don't they just get out talk.
But what I think what we need to do is, though now is manage expectations.
Because expectations have to be like is high.
Is, is the tallest building in the world right now.
I mean, I think we're all expecting Marshall knew our eyes and when to come back and just run all around the offensive line on block everybody.
That's obviously not gonna happen.
Isaiah Win is gonna be a significant boost to the Patriots offense, but it's not going to solve everything.
Here's how another I'm gonna finish this last piece of the article that I thought was really great, It says.
Don't expect him to immediately cure all the Patriots sputtering offense, though In all likelihood, winds return won't be the magic pill that restores new England status is the NFL Premier point scoring powerhouse.
But this Patriots team, with it's suffocating defense and weaponized special teams, is built to win a Super Bowl.
Without an elite offense, it can settle for an improved one, and that win certainly can provide.
And we talked a lot about it on this show, right? I know there's other people out there that are doubting me and indirectly calling me out about what I'm saying, and that's fine.
But you know what? If you want to know that if you want to know the truth from two guys who aren't homers, two guys who will criticize the Patriots when it needs to be criticized and compliment, the Patriots need to be complimented and have the confidence in the Patriots when the confidence should be instilled.
It's me and Taison over at master at where formally kissed the rings.
There's a lot of Patriots hate that comes from Patriots players, you know.
That's why I always laugh when I hear the whole oh haters gonna hate kind of thing because it works that way.
Inside of Pats Nation, don't expect this offense to be back to looking like 2007 because that's not gonna happen.
What you can expect, though, is Isaiah went to make them significantly better.
Do you know who couldn't have made the Dallas Cowboys better, though? That's Bill Belichick.
And why would I be talking about Bill Ballot Shack in the Dallas Cowboys? And it's because of a little story.
Jerry Jones told that.
I'm sure a lot of you heard it already.
And if you have it, I'm going to read you the story.
This is Jerry Jones talking about Bill Balanchine.
Years ago, it was right after balance.
I could just been fired by the Cleveland Browns or Baltimore Ravens.
I guess, whatever you wanna call him, Jerry Jones says.
I was renting skis for my grandkids and there was a line and I'm sitting in the back.
Somebody bumps up against me a few times, and I turned around and there was this guy.
I couldn't make him out because he had ski stuff on and goggles raised up.
It was Bill Bella.
Check dental Jones.
If you ever get an opportunity, don't forget about me.
Jones says he thought a lot about that interaction.
Many times since then, he says, Quote, You never know when you confined a great coach.
You can find them in a ski checkout line sometimes end. Quote.
And I'm sure there's a lot of Dallas Cowboy fans were just cursing Jerry Jones now, Jerry, and you could have had Bill Belichick.
You could have had the greatest coach to ever coach the game.
Unfortunately for Dallas, fans will not really.
Unfortunately, it's fortunately for Patriots and button for Bill Belichick.
Never would have worked with the Dallas Cowboys.
Jerry Jones needs to control way too much of what happens as an organization.
Nothing happens without running through him.
He's the general manager.
He negotiates contracts.
He pays guys too much money.
Bill Belichick never would've been able to have the control of the team that he needed to build the Patriots the way that he built built them.
Bill Parcells didn't last long in Dallas, and as good as Bill Belichick is, is he needed the freedom he needed the culture set by Robert Kraft.
That's why when we talk about who's responsible for the Patriots dynasty was a craft was a ballot check was a Brady.
It's a combination of all three.
It's the Rushmore of the dynasty.
I don't believe that you could have had Belichick as successful as he was with any other owner.
There's way too many of them that get involved with the football operations.
Robert Kraft allowed Bill Ballot Shack to build the Patriots the way he wanted set the culture that he wanted.
And it wasn't until 2017 18 years after Bill Belichick assumed the role as head coach and general manager of the Patriots, did We hear any rumbling of Robert Kraft getting involved in football decisions, And that came down to the whole Jimmy Garoppolo Tom Brady thing, and we don't even know how much of that is true.
So, yeah, it's a great thought for Cowboys fans thinking they could have had Bill ballot check.
But I'm telling you right now, it never would have worked in Dallas.
Speaking of Dallas, they're coming to town on Sunday and it's Wednesday.
So this is the time of the week that this story lines start to percolate a little bit.
There's nothing really firing up yet.
We really get into a Thursday is when a lot of the storylines start coming out Friday.
They're on fire by Saturday.
We want to run through walls, and then Sunday it all gets left out on the field.
But one of the stories coming out of this week, it's obviously Michael Bennett returning to New England.
Michael Bennett had one of the shortest 10 years as a New England patriot.
You I remember when Bennett was traded when balletic traded for Bennett.
You go back and find the video on YouTube.
I was ecstatic that they brought in Michael Bennett.
I thought he was gonna be one of the ultimate, uh, one of the ultimate game changers on the Patriots, and it all kind of went to hell in a handbasket very early.
He wasn't used way.
He wanted to be used.
He got suspended after having it out with a coach, and eventually he was sent home.
But I think that they're actually both in good places by both, I mean, the New England Patriots and Michael Bennett.
Michael Bennett has to be thrilled to be in Dallas, and I think that the Patriots just weren't a fit for Michael Bennett.
And I don't think Michael Bennett was a fit for the Patriots.
Like I don't think it works either way, so I can't see Michael Bennett being overly upset.
But Patrick Morgan of musket fire? He believes the Michael Bennett may be looking for revenge this weekend.
Here's what he wrote.
Other than winning the Super Bowl, being named to the Pro Bowl or or or earning millions of extra dollars in meeting contracts.
Incentives, There are few things probably more satisfying for a professional football player than sticking it to their own team.
Old team own team.
Through the 1st 6 games, the New England Patriots season Bennett, plane, time and snap percentage steadily declined on a week to week basis in two of those six games, he didn't make enough of an impact on the game to fill the box score.
Conflict between player and the team eventually boiled over, with Bennett reportedly getting into with his position. Leader.
Defensive coach Bryant Memoli.
Believe I mean sorry.
Reportedly getting into with the leader, but only after the Patriots Week six victory over the New York Giants.
Better later apologized for his role in the argument and referred to the matter as a philosophical disagreement.
I believe that I and I believe that Michael Bennett's apology was genuine.
He doesn't seem like a guy to me who wouldn't apologize unless it was a genuine apology.
It was probably also, at that moment to that bill Ballot Shack, and Michael Bennett realized this just isn't gonna work.
Bennett wanted more play time.
He wasn't fitting into the Patriot system.
Yeah, and you know what I mean? The only was going getting like some, like 36% of snaps.
He was still like the third or fourth most played defense alignment that the Patriots had.
But he wants to play 40 45 50% Bill, Ballot Shack.
Could have traded him to anybody.
He could have sent him to Miami.
He could have sent him.
You know, he could have given the Cleveland Brown treatment like he did the Jamie Collins, but he didn't.
He trained with the Dallas Cowboys, who are probably gonna win the NFC East.
So it's not like he screwed him for this season.
And I don't I don't think it was all just because of attitude.
I think it was just a fit.
Bennett wanted to play.
He wasn't getting the playtime ballot checks that fine.
Go play somewhere else.
I don't see this as a mash Ah, Cassius Marsh situation where Marsh was just whatever.
And I think that the media is gonna make this a bigger story than the Patriots and Bennett are.
But there's no Morgan finish the story, he said.
Even with both Bennett and the Patriots seemingly pleased with the net positive games from the change, you have to think that the veteran defensive end still has this weekend's game against his former team circled in bright red ink on his calendar.
He'll undoubtedly want to prove the ballot shack, bulimia and all of Pat Patriots Nation that they made a grave error in undervaluing his contributions.
And the best way to do that, of course, is by wreaking havoc on Tom Brady and the Patriots offense again.
That's a great narrative for a guy who's trying to get clicks on a website.
It's a great narrative for me who talks about the New England Patriots.
It's an interesting topic to have a conversation about what's the reality, Though Michael Bennett has played for four teams in two years, I'm sure if he's talking about an S list of teams that he wants to get back at.
I'm sure Seattle sits at the very top of that list.
Things didn't ax necessarily and peachy out in Philadelphia.
And it's funny because I remember Philly fans saying to us, Have fun with Bennett When we got him, it didn't work in New England.
He got sent to Dallas.
He got sent to a good situation.
He got sent to a situation where a He's getting playing. Time be.
The guy is performing for the Dallas Cowboys.
He fits their system better.
And see he was with the Patriots for a matter of mere months.
Will hold a little bit of hostility, probably, but I don't think it's gonna be a CZ big of a deal as people are trying to make it out to be.
Let's talk about something really, really positive before we talk about something really funny.
Jake Bailey, when he was drafted, I remember Patriot fans enemy.
Why did they waste the draft pick on a punter? They already had Ryan Allen, who half jokingly half serious people said should have been a candidate as Super Bowl M V P.
Of Super Bowl 53.
They gave ride out a $1,000,000 contract to come punt the ball.
Why did you bring in Jake Bailey? Well, they were brought in for games like last Sunday when he played the Eagles.
Bailey was brought in to kick eight times over the course of the game, and he dropped six of those kicks inside the Eagles 20 yard line.
Three of those punts pinned the Eagles inside their own 10 yard line, including 1/4 quarter boot that left Philly with 94 yards to go in order to tie the game, Bailey was named the A F C special teams player of the Week on Wednesday and recognition of performance.
And this is the second time that he's now the prize during his rookie career.
Jake Bailey is the real deal.
Jake Bailey's got a leg.
His control and accuracy is getting better.
He's also used on the Kickoffs because of how strong his leg is and how accurate is getting on those Kickoffs.
And I was one of those people that wondered why the Patriots used a draft pick on a punter.
Couldn't you bring in an undrafted free agent? But watching him play now, watching the performances have how he's helped the defense, and the offense has put Jake Bailey and some peculiar situations this season.
Bailey is a legitimate weapon for the Patriots.
I'm not always right.
I'm actually usually wrong, and I didn't think that Jake Bailey wasn't gonna be a good punter.
But I question why they use a draft pick.
That was my problem.
I questioned Bill Belichick something.
Patriots fans were taken too many liberties of doing too often.
Anyways, let's finish off for something funny.
So Jason Whitlock he's probably right up there with Nick, right? Rob Parker when it comes to Patriots takes.
But this mother believes that he's found the secret sauce toe beating the Patriots here.
What Jason Whitlock wrote, according to Adam London of Nessen, he said, quote, I think the Ronnie I think the running quarterback is the secret sauce, Whitlock said on Tuesday on F S.
One. Speak for yourself.
If I'm Randy re, Andy Reid and the Chiefs, I've had a conversation with Patrick, my homes, like we gotta have a little of this with your legs.
If we're going to do anything in the postseason.
If we see New England end quote I'm gonna read you Adam London's response before I give mine, cause I think it sums it up.
Yes, Lamar Jackson had his way with the Patriots defense in Week nine that says, it feels fair to say that the Baltimore Ravens signal caller is one of a kind in the NFL.
We haven't seen a quarterback speed like Jackson since the days of Michael Michael Vick.
And while the final score of the Patriots and Ravens will lead you to forget New England relatively subdued Jackson in the second half, the Patriots had the opportunity to take the lead in the second act.
That's not in the article, but he should have said that to the Patriots were a Julian Edelman fumble, a way of taking control of the game, and I'm not taking anything away from Lamar Jackson.
I'm not taking anything away from the Ravens.
I'm just speaking.
Fact back to Lana's article.
The Patriots have dealt with other mobile quarterbacks this season, including Josh, Alan and Carson Wentz, neither of whom had any real success a success against New England with the home field advantage.
So while a running quarterback, of course, is tougher to prepare for.
It's proven to be something that Bill ballot Jack and Coke can handle.
I just love that we look at one game and we all do it.
Even Patriot fans do it to the Patriots and the and you and you guys judge other teams because of one game.
I through the same thing I should say.
You guys, we judge other teams over one game.
The Patriots have one game where the team kind of gets run over, and it's like, That's the sauce.
That's the sauce to beat the Patriots.
Everybody just needs to get a Lamar Jackson.
If everybody has Lamar Jackson deliver, the pages will never lose or never win.
I just love that people look at a team season and think, Okay, how can they beat the Patriots? If there's some helm end up playing the Patriots in the playoffs, How do you beat the Patriots? The New England Patriots are a national obsession for the for the media and other fan bases.
Lamar Jackson and I mean after that Baltimore game, I talked about it a lot.
I refused to take anything away from Lamar Jackson.
He is a special special talent If you're a Kansas City Chiefs fan, do you really want Patrick Mahomes running around the field the same way that Lamar Jackson does? Do you want to see High Tower or Jamie Collins chasing him down and hitting him as Patriot fans? We want to see Tom Brady doing that if he could run.
So though I appreciate Jason's opinion, it's wrong again and I just started shared with you guys.
I debated whether to put it on here tonight.
I thought, It's not really news.
It's kind of a stupid opinion, all that kind of stuff.
Yeah, but I thought I'd talk about it.
Finish it off of the joke.
I am going to bypass the Q and A tonight.
