Now you can hear me.
Next. Family was popping, man.
And look, I know it looks a little bit different right now with the way that had everything set up and all that kind of stuff.
You know, I just popped right up on the screen.
Used to having a little something going on in the intro beforehand.
I couldn't do it that way this time because somebody took my Internet out.
I got some people out of my house working on some wires under the ground, and they accidentally cut my internet wires.
I've got a I'm jumping out from my mobile hot spot.
So it is what it is, man.
We're doing the best we can right now.
We will be able to take phone calls.
We're still gonna have a video chat. So we're gonna do it.
But listen, man, that's not what we're here to talk about.
We need to talk about the Knicks.
Blown a 17 point lead in the Philadelphia 76 is yes, You heard it correctly the next.
And a 17 point lead tonight over the Philadelphia 76 years.
And they blew the lead.
They could not hold on to the lead.
What are you gonna do about his team, man? I don't know.
So many times, these guys are able to hang and play tough with good teams and they can't get over the home.
They can't get over the hump, man.
The New York Knicks tonight they lost to the Philadelphia 76 years.
They had a 17 point lead.
They weren't able to hold on to the lead.
They played well, for the most part, we will get a chance to break down and look at the stats and all that good stuff.
You know, we talk about what the Knicks did, right? What the Knicks did wrong and what we could have done to win this game because the game was very winnable.
And I hope I don't know.
Does it give you confidence? That's what I want to know.
Does this game give you confidence that the Knicks can wind early stuff Stretch? Is that the have a tough stretch coming up and feeling that this game was just the beginning of a stretch? It was just the beginning right next to San Antonio didn't you got the Brooklyn Nets? Both of those games are very, very winnable.
Ladies and gentlemen, hold of a mom.
But we had one right here.
We had one tonight.
We could have pulled out.
We didn't get it.
Get the job done.
Let's get to the video chat, and I'm going to give a chance.
I don't have the lines open yet.
All right, But I will have the telephone lines open for you to call in, but I want to get someone issue, Ah, reactions from the guys that we have in the video chat.
They're not do a quick recap of the game.
And then at that recap, the game will, um, it to a couple of phone calls.
All right, so let's start with the guys in the video chat right now.
I got Nate got marking a video chat.
Um, well, see what these guys think, Nate? Coming to you right now.
My brother? This year's chat.
Um oh, no, one second.
Okay, Nate, tell me what you saw.
I mean, I saw a team that fought hard.
I mean, they played great defense for three and 3/4 you know, probably 3/4 or two and two due in, uh, 50 minutes.
I said it again.
We're just I thought the last couple of minutes were, like, typical mix, you know, basketball, not moving the ball.
And I get back on defense, given up wide open threes.
Um, but you know what? It really all started when they took Frank out of the game, you know, and and is that the part I don't understand.
I mean, I understand players got to get the rest, but when Frank is playing that good and that and he's and he's that hot, you can't pull him from the game, you know? I mean, as soon as they pulled him from the game, I mean, D j was getting eaten up, you know, and the team just was not running their offense.
And And when you have a lead like that, you gotta run your dogs until until an anymore.
I mean that. That's my philosophy.
You gotta You gotta put your foot on the throat and keep going. Okay.
But that's unfair, Dennis.
But let's be fair, though.
Up until that point, Dennis Smith Jr was playing well, also right.
He was a Well, he's playing well, so And I know about Fizdale Couldn't predict that when he took frank out, they were gonna lose a 17 point lead.
And maybe it was a 15 point lead.
When Frank Frank came out.
Hey, couldn't predict that that was gonna happen.
You know what I'm saying? And I think you know, Dennis Smith Jr had been playing well up into that point.
It been playing well and that's true.
Those guys got to come in and play, man.
And and you know, I'm not. I'm not let the players off the hook.
But what I'm going to say is that the coach, if we give up that lead by the end of the third quarter, Millikin is back in the lineup starting before I mean, you've got to play your best players when the when the game is is when you gotta leave.
And I think that Fizdale you know, it rested on his laurels and then put Frank in when they tied the game.
And you know, when you got a team that is that good and you're you're beating them, you gotta you gotta put your says you gotta put your foot on the throat and and and and go for the kill, you know? And they don't do that.
They let him back in the game, and then when they tied the game up, they're not good enough to win a game that close.
They're gonna make mistakes.
I mean, you saw Randall stupid screen play, Whatever he did, I don't know what he was doing there.
I mean, Morris and he's trying on the fast break.
Either get fouled, But he could have slowed that down and they ran something.
But, you know, it just we're not good enough to win those close games against a good enough team against those teams.
And we had to take the lead and run with it, and we didn't do that.
And that's why we lost the game.
I honestly believe that we were started in the boy for Frank, and it helps, you know, we would have kept the lead, you know, and who knows what happened? That was my thinking.
I mean, way could say a lot of things, but I just think your players are playing that well.
You gotta keep playing them.
I mean, you know, he had 16 points.
Um, you know, he was playing well, it and he played well in the third quarter.
It wasn't just me.
I get there like a point guard.
But, you know, he's not gonna He's not gonna play the entire every single second of the game.
You don't say that.
We have a fair place, all that.
All those minutes are you had all those minutes, he waas he waas.
But when you have a 15 a 17th 15 point lead, that is the time when you can say, OK, right, they got themselves coming in.
We're gonna bring this himself.
They should be able to hold the lead until our guys get back in.
I mean, keeping because, let's put it like this.
You gotta have your best player.
Right? But but check it out.
You could if he would have kept Frank and and everything came back anyway, right? Well, we could sit here and say, Oh, it wouldn't happen.
But we don't know.
And everything came back anyway.
And then Frank, Donna, Stretch of the game.
People have said, Well, Why didn't you give him a break? Because now Frank was tired.
Come down to the end of the fourth quarter.
I mean, it could go any way bench players, your bench.
The bench has been able to play well.
They've got to be able to step up and play well sometimes, man.
You know, and they have played well.
But the bench has been a storm point Force for the most part.
And it's not like the bench had played terrible this game.
Bench had played well.
Julia had played well.
Bench played well, so at that point again, you put a millionaire, okay? The bench played well.
Maybe they can come in with some energy.
It try to extend the lead.
And to its credit, he did.
B bring Frank back in earlier than expected.
I think maybe it was nine minutes left in the fourth quarter when he brought Frank back into the game, you know? I mean, you know, the bet's gotta be able to step up in place of basketball, too, You know? Me, um you can't expect that.
You know this stuff.
I mean, the bed's got to be a they got to be able to hold that lead, you know, And the lead t, To be honest with you, the lead just dissipate.
When the bets came in, the league has started to dissipate.
Before the bench came in, it was a 17 point lead, and I think before the bench came in and got, you know, that they had shaved it down to a 13 point lead.
So they started going on that run before the bench even came into the game.
You know, um, there's a lot we could say is a lot we can not say about the game.
Ah, you know, I hate it.
We couldn't wait.
Couldn't win the game, you know, that's that's Yeah, Obviously it's on the Knicks, you know? Same Because we should have been able to win that game.
You know what? Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, there's not gonna be many highlights or interviews and stuff like that because, you know, I don't have super duper fast Internet, so we're doing with what we can and we do what we came.
Not gonna be a bit have all that kind of stuff tonight.
I'm lucky that I'm able to have these guys talk.
Andrew, about to come to you.
Man, Talk to me, my brother.
You hear me? Sir? Yeah, I can hear you was going over to my man, I think, brother, having your own, I'll take away from the Knicks game with the li I.
I blame the raft.
I think that's held only really get back into.
That leaves a lot of those.
They called on the Nixon that to me help, you know, killed a moment.
Um, and they helpfully get back in the game and no, no, Also a person have a problem defensively is tether Knox, man.
He had a terrible defensive game, man, and I think that's what squandered the lead.
You know, Dennis Smith family played bad edges.
When he's in court, he's not really orchestrating the offense.
Instead, I'm saying he's looking more to score.
He's not really, you know, he's not really setting things on that thing.
That's what happened.
One frame got a friend got out.
You seen Hugo orchestrate that I held him Exactly.
And I think also when they said they pulled a home, a poor friend, too quick.
I kept him in it.
It seems I understand you need to get this man some minutes, but the guy was hot.
You don't understand that.
That was That was all senses.
One of the best.
I've seen him play the guy, like, two or three shots in a row.
Keep let him keep going.
And they just didn't do that, you know? I mean, I think they should have just You have a big league.
You gotta step on some of these guys next, man.
And that's something that I did it.
I mean I mean, you know, I'm not good.
I just can't blame it on just the fact that, you know, Frank came out the game.
Um, I just can't I just can't blame it on that.
The Knicks as a whole as an entire team.
Because even with Frank in the game, you know, the 76 is began to go on a run.
They started going on a run, you know, just 17 point.
You know, I went down to 13.
Okay, just blame it on that.
Um, I just can't blame it on just that on Just frank coming out.
Okay, but what I'm saying is also the officials the officials ruin with some Miss Cole that they miss Emelin dots and went to the basket and even from home, isn't at the free.
Don't I look at the discrepancy like, you know what I'm saying that that's what really ruined it.
Look at the date they blew hard against the Knicks, for one, and then for to all those women, Todd's Gibson march again because he helped him get believed with simple fact when they brought in Mitchell Roberts.
They understand any of the defense at this same time when Mitchell Robinsons in the game.
If you give him the bull 16 17 feet out, the person who's got him clogs the paint, so that makes kids really changes harder.
When we get to the basket, it makes the often stagnant.
I think that the play Michelle Robinson dispersed, but he did have a good moment when he was running a pickle roll with Morrison and Robinson.
It would go a lot.
They went away from there.
So you're not doing that while sitting on the floor.
You know what I'm saying? Like I don't have it came out that deepens.
He leave his speech, We easy.
And also Kevin, not a terrible defense of game it.
He looked lost out there, man.
Even even leave their main looked lost.
And that's the reason being that you're saying there is a lot of these factors that and go into it.
And also, I think this visit's playing on Jay too many minutes now.
I think he got to cut down on Ji Min.
All you get? I don't know the minute you played tonight, but I think he Yes, again, dots and more on more the burn, in my opinion.
Oh, E Dotson is playing really well.
I am unable to bring up those stats at the moment.
Um, so I'm not able to look at those stats, okay? Yeah, I'm on it, you know, because it ended that situation.
So I'm unable to bring those stats up, but I'm interested to see how many How many minutes are J. Barrett played tonight.
How many minutes? Dami dots and play tonight.
How many minutes fighting a Latina play tonight? You know, I do wonder, you know.
You know what Taj Gibson and I d'oh saying that again? Explain then.
Knox is not just out of it right now.
He's not playing well until now.
What? I'm losing it.
A man and Lucy Let me get to Gamow.
What was going on, man? First of all, most vocally you're doing better, man.
Oh, I know It's a night, man.
There was so many positives, that sort of thing.
Only negatives down the streets and get set of consequences.
First forms, you know.
I know people think about mentioned, Frank.
I thought Frank had a really good game, but our defensive, our savior almost on defense is Tosh Capes.
This guy was communicated.
The guys are blazing back on defense, but a dead ball, He was screaming for them to get back.
He had guys in position.
You know what I said? I said that you got a double team and be the ball on the floor in the pain.
You've got to give Simmons breathing space and we executed a while.
Men were in a little run.
You know, we would do that to a T, and we force those guys become popular players, man like it was beautiful again.
Then get to the back fundamentals, you know, like petrol bombs.
Did you know this guy's jumping for forehead face at the three point line and Andy was out there and he couldn't hit a three.
Whenever you can force him.
Bto, This is not a great permits.
And if you can force him to do that take, keep taking it, force him and Simmons become shooters.
You know what my Scott is? You know Tobias Harrison, You don't make those guys.
I mean, they pick those guys.
Ah, how to dribble and beach warden, I mean that and beating those guys didn't and it's Robson comes in, gives him power, goes to the head fakes and allow Simmons and beats have a two minute to minute game.
And then again, in terms of fundamentals in terms of offensive sets, you know, we got into trouble because literally we only have activity on one side of all.
I got said maybe we were doing a little dribble handoffs and stuff in the second half to the left, and guys get bogged down.
Ties had got the ball stole from Dotson, you know, couldn't make plays.
They're trying to driving.
Force things on that one side, exposing your offense when you have the pick passing, getting two guys all around the court.
I know we don't do enough off ball, but this week, but it's moving.
We could get the passes quick.
That helps us that allows us please bring some advantage against the defense.
I think we read a waiver that we try to get too much isil.
Rando is just You're so annoying.
As you know on the last follow.
What about crucial about the game? We're down about five.
That's the only time you want to show some power on a pick.
You should show some energy on a pick.
You know, it's the team needs to learn situational awareness month. We have.
We have very, very little ***ual, very situation.
I mean, you have those two guys.
Like I said, Beat and Simmons.
Let them try to beat you from the three, you know? I mean, don't play them up top.
Don't let them beat you from the three Mike Scott.
You know he's a gunner.
Can't let him kill you from the perimeter.
I'm not really a defense fell apart and I want to get on fizzled because fizzle Look here.
The ice was making a substitute.
He'll be reiterating to guy.
It shouldn't take Taj Gibson the basic.
Be the only guy telling guys against a position on defense.
You've gotta reiterate to them.
No, Mitch, stay on your feet.
You know what? Maybe could do.
You know? I mean, uh, you know what seems conducive is gonna give him.
So he's gonna dribble around a foul shot and try to reset it and pass it off.
You know what his game is? You know? I think so, Yeah.
I want to get on physical and say, you know, fire five physical.
But again, it's a physical players.
They've got to do a better job.
His defense is **** poor, misguided.
You start sitting man Randall.
I know he's a big ticket item, but he's not a victim.
Right now you made some shots, whatever, but in situation awareness, he just he doesn't get it.
You know, he had that one awful play way.
He tried to, like, spin, move.
You sort of double team coming instead of passing it out.
You try to spin into the baseline and tryto Castillo right beside it was that was terrible.
That was just not like That's not, you know, I mean, stuff like that again.
What if it's so safe? Estelle said that he's going to sit you down if you make stupid decisions.
If you if you do things with like that, I just don't know whatever.
Like if it's like that for whatever, he's trying to show it to be making mistakes, I guess.
What? You big stupid things.
Stuff like that rent a visa sick, you know, I mean, guys like that.
Like what? Interest segment? When Frank was hot, you got to keep him in there because you know how many games you two get? Frankie's.
I have yet to compensate now, but it's get them in there because look, if you're gonna sit down, guys like tides, whatever quarter, you know, play guys like Frank, maybe keep score that could give him space and try to play my top, and that opens up against that.
I know what you said.
Can you be other teams again? Two games in a row, always like way every bring or three days.
The, um the Hornets is like we bring we like if you could just take cuts off quarters and just extrapolate that out for the whole game, you could be a lively scene.
I mean, we'll get Mrs T this a game that we can't let down.
Yes, The Philly beat us over to have a talent in us.
We could have one win it.
Be one. This is what we would have stole this game.
So I guess we're supposed to win.
But, you know, it is what it is.
Fundamentals of biggest things.
And we gotta work up defenses, contextual awareness, you know? I mean, and this My last thing.
I just remember 2013 14 when his spurs play the heat and the spurs literally stayed away from LeBron on a perimeter like he was a disease.
And it was like you saw Popovich screaming at you saw other place screaming at they, you know, it can't just be times everybody has appeared in on defense on his team, but wouldn't be incentive to do so, but it is what it is.
But please, God be better construction.
Now. I feel you.
I feel you. I feel you.
Um, you know, I know.
There's a lot of things that we could have done.
Ah, you know, it's always going to be that way that there's a lot of things that we could have done, Uh, you know, go in different ways that we could have played better.
You know, the bottom line.
You know, we didn't do that.
We did not get those things done.
Um, I want to give a big shot up to hell.
Marshall, Thank you for the super said Mitch in foul trouble.
Um, not being in the game hurts face running, offense forwards too much.
I'm no, no, what I'm saying.
I was just reading off a super chap.
I was reading off a super check.
You know, we're Taj Gibson.
Yes, I believe you know, we did very well with Taj Gibson in the game.
We didn't play Taj Gibson as much tonight as I thought we could have.
I mean, you seem Taj Gibson really playing very well.
And, you know, uh, taken advantage of Joel Embiid.
In some cases, he was playing good defense is didn't keep him out there.
Face didn't keep him out there.
But, you know, I don't know.
Maybe, um, because up until that point, when we built that lead, you know, are bits had played well, you know, and, you know, you know, through the game and that lead, I kind of feel like the mo mentum of that lead was already changing before the bench players even came in demand.
In fact, I feel like he started to bring itself because he felt the moment, um, of the game changing.
Now, you know, they were able to, you know, the ***** was not able to Ah, change it and get it back in the next favor.
I I know it is tough, man.
Uh, it's it's tough one to swallow for me because we had the game, we could have won the game.
We should have won the game and we weren't It's a game. The Emmy Emmy.
I'm sitting there thinking to myself when we when we were up 17 I'm like, Wow, we win this.
That means we've won three of the last four games and we could have been on a four game win streak.
You know, if we win this game If it wasn't for that last second shot by the Charlotte Hornets.
Now, that's what I'm thinking to myself.
When were up 17.
What I'm afraid of is that the Knicks were thinking the same thing, right? They were thinking the same thing.
You know, we win this one, and, you know, we went on.
Ah, you know, we we would have won three of the last four games.
Bubble, bubble block.
This is this is I got some stats up now that I could look at.
Marcus always played, was down the stretch.
I thought he started playing hero ball down the stretch.
Especially on that fast break at the end of the game.
Not not at the end of the game.
Ah, in the fourth quarter, the Knicks had a chance to go back up one, and it was maybe three on one.
Do we have to do something like that? Uh, maybe it was three onto it. Maybe he did get found.
I don't know, but he went to the basket.
You know, where he could have found somebody who was open for a better shot.
And then maybe the possession after that, when the Knicks have possession.
After that, he decided to go one on one in the paint.
And I felt like, uh, you know Marcus Morris? Maybe because he had family in town. I don't know.
Marcus Morris doesn't. Anyway, Maybe.
But maybe because he had family in town and stuff like that, you know, he was maybe pushing a little bit too much.
But I didn't like the way Marcus Morris played down the stretch.
Julius Randle, you know, for us.
Well, as he played in Cleveland, I seen him go back to make us some of the same mistakes.
Like Gammell just talked about where you know him in the post.
Joel Embiid coming to double team.
He decides to go baseline and try to flip it under the baseline and, frankly looking and the ball goes out of bounds. Uncontrollable.
Frank Little Kenny couldn't catch the ball, you know, plays like that now also, you know, whoever was Garden, Joel and B's got to cut to the basket.
You see, Joel will be going to double team.
You gotta You got to slide to the basket and hope that Julius Randle confined you.
It's easier said than done.
Jo Ellan Beat is a big guy, so you might not be able to see that cutter coming down the lane, you know.
Um, anyway, Marcus Morris, he had.
He played 40 minutes.
He had 22 points.
He also had 13 rebounds, six assists.
But he shot 38% from the field, 57% from three mics out.
Welcome, three overall. Julius Randle.
He played 35 minutes, had 17 points, shot 38.
5% from the field, 50% from 38 rebounds to assist Tides Gibson.
He only played 13 minutes, and it's just surprising because his 13 minutes were good.
He should have played more minutes.
He had 11 points.
He was five or six from the field.
Taj Gibson also had four rebounds.
J Barrett played 35 minutes.
He had eight points on Lee shot 33% from the field.
Zero assists Blood.
Then it Mitchell Robinson, which Robinson played 13 minutes.
He was at the foul trouble.
He had rebounds on the night.
Don't take any points.
He had two points.
He was one for six from the feet.
It also had three rebounds.
Um, you know, it's hard to say, Ladies and gentlemen, I understand you know how what people are saying about Frank Miller Kina coming out the game.
But when you look at it, the person will come in.
The form really only played 15 minutes looking to play the majority of those in.
It's at that point guard spot.
There's 48 minutes in the game.
He played 32 of those 48 minutes.
I don't play the other one minute, but Dennis Jr played 15 of those 48 minutes.
You know, when you know when the bench came in.
I mean, Coach Fizdale took Dennis McGee out the game early in there.
In that fourth quarter, you took him out with about nine minutes left.
I'm just not ready to blame the attacking on that one. Move.
Yeah, I think that Philadelphia was already on a run.
They were already on a run.
The Momenta was ready. Shifting.
Hey meets himself to try to stop that moment of Jeff and the ball was over the vote.
We couldn't stop it.
Ever agree? Come you may.
What's going on, brother? How you feeling? What's going on, man? Listen, I am not be a negative, Nancy.
I'm saying that.
I'm saying that's simply because you live out here in South Jersey.
Everybody out here, really.
Fans marching the game on a local channel on the commentators, they're at the post game.
I was like, Listen, this next team is not the same bad mixed team from last year, and they are also not the same bad 60.
First, it's even this next team.
Just put the Byerly on notice.
If you are not a point shooting team, if you are chief, that gets the majority of your buckets for the pain, the Knicks are gonna be a problem for you.
They're gonna be a problem for you with our size.
When you add, that is like the perfect basketball economic storm.
How you ale, you got bad.
Coles got us not getting cold.
And then the very end of Mars more is not kicking that ball off.
But Frank came in.
Hopefully he can hit that three cause he was the hot hand.
J being pulled out slightly early.
Barry looks like he had four turnovers.
How even go so far.
Say body port is probably because he went He shot 50%.
The only other two players to shoot over 50%.
We're, uh, Frank.
In time, it was like the league right now again, if you alright ah, playing team.
If you played from 14 beat in under.
We we have the ability to be a big problem.
Um, it just so happens a few shots here and there with Scott and then beat.
It's kind of what would steal the game.
And what blew the game was markets more persons last to which I'm not even mad at him making those decisions because he's been the one that's been as clutch as possible, or at least making the best decisions.
Went the ball in his hands at the end of the stretch for everyone that is losing their minds and getting upset at the way the Knicks played.
Understand? Yo, we got 24 fouls ready.
Let me make sure I'll get this is right.
I want to say we got 24 vows to Billy 11 right? Mmm.
That's that's a big That's a That's a 12 point difference, right? That's so soon.
That's a 13 point difference like that.
That makes a cute difference in that game, right? They won that game or a foul shot.
Like if you if you stared this box over score, they won that game over free throws, period, right? It was a very slow wasn't a fast paced game, and I'm cool with the ball not being fun because we have some weird offensive, which matches that could have been exploited if we played properly.
I'm cool with banging in the paint if we know we don't have much shooting.
But again, I think this game was really decided by the rest.
I don't think they were really much big, big defensive plays that we leaked on, and a lot of offensive plays that we played crappy on this game was decided by the reps as well as a couple of those small things at markets.
Morris did right but just didn't work out in our favor.
So I'm not gonna be a negative.
Okay, wait a **** good game and I'm looking forward to.
But before to the next game, we got San Antonio Nick San Antonio Mix.
That's a winnable San Antonio team.
Maybe we can redeem ourselves when that one.
Um Frank, obviously, everybody knows Frank had an amazing game.
Could you get pulled out too early? That's questionable.
Um, but I actually think that are our biggest issue is somebody teach having not.
And this is the third.
This 1/3 game that I watched they care would not have done this.
This guy, like from my understanding on defense, like I'm not an NBA player.
What I know from player basics for you Don't give up the baseline like, Oh, just don't do that.
If you're If you're playing deal, we don't give the bass line up and allow that man five.
You allow him to driving to the paint and allow him to block them by your other places that you got defense that we're gonna paint.
Why, it's frank.
Every for the last 34 games.
You're not Frank.
Kevin knocks for the last three or four games.
Heaven Knox consistently lets that lets his man drive baseline.
Yeah, this is the different.
He does so far was a having not to use the bench.
Yes, you pretty well, but Kevin, like me on the bench and Ah, Reggie Bullock.
Hurry up and come back or you pull out.
What did he ever Now Kevin knocks, You know, to be fair, Kevin Knocks only played 10 minutes tonight, mainly because his defense is lacking so much.
You know, his defense is lack of so much.
Kevin Knocks only played 10 minutes tonight.
Um, the next just to read off some some some numbers for you, ladies and gentlemen.
The Knicks had 42 rebounds tonight to the 76 is 44.
The Knicks had seven offensive rebounds and 76 had 10 Office of rebounds.
The Knicks had 35 defensive rebounds on Lee.
17 assists tonight for the Knicks.
The Knicks only average 20 assists on a season.
They only had 17 tonight.
The Philadelphia 76 has had 30 assists on the night already assist.
The Knicks still built a 17 point lead with that 30 assists, ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks have eight steals, six blocks, 14 Internal was on the night we started, you know, we had turnovers in that. They're a corner.
When the Philadelphia 76 we're going on the run yet.
Still, the Knicks outscored the 76 28 to 21 end at the quarter.
All right, So even though even though we had a 17 point lead in the third quarter, right, we ended before we ended the third quarter, we went into the fourth quarter with a five point lead.
Now maybe I could hear what Nate saying.
I could hear what other people say may be given the fact that the lead change you start the fourth quarter with your starters, you bring it back in.
Maybe so, but I I still believe that that runs started well before of the ***** came into the game.
It was a well before the bets came into the game.
I believe that run started of the next shot, 47.
6% from the field.
It's 76 shot 43.
8% from the field.
The next shot, 52% from three.
The 76 a shot 40.
The Knicks actually made their free throws, but they only shot 15 free throws.
They were 11 for 15 on the free throw line for 73.3%.
76 is where 18 for 26.
They only made 69% of defeat those, but they shot 26 of them.
Those are the numbers on the night, ladies and gentlemen.
No, no, Listen, I say this.
If you looked at my game preview, I wasn't expecting the next to win.
Obviously, when you get up 17 points, that changes your expectations.
What I wanted to see was a value effort.
I want to see them come out and play well.
I feel like they played well.
Did they make mistakes? Yes, they made plenty of mistakes.
And guess what? Basketball is a game of mistakes you're going to make.
Let's put it like this.
This I tell my players this all the time because players get down on themselves, especially young players.
They get down on themselves when they make mistakes in the game, right? They missed a couple of shots to have a couple of turnovers, missed a couple of defensive assignments.
They shut the they start to hang their head and I'm not saying that plays an MBA, do this.
But what I'm saying is basketball is a game of mistakes.
So we're not gonna play a perfect game ever, ever.
Ah, perfect game is a game that includes mistakes.
Okay, if you shoot 48% from the field, that's good.
The next shot, 47% from the field, and that's good.
That's making less than 50% of your shots.
Think about that.
You shoot 47% from the field.
That's good, but that's making less than 50% of your shots.
Basketball is a game of mistakes.
The team that makes him less mistakes usually wins the game, so you're gonna make plenty of mistakes, plenty of mistakes every single game that'll get mad at the mistakes I get mad with.
Teams don't play hard, but teens don't show basketball principles on the floor.
I feel like the Knicks shows and basketball principles that this, but you know, this thing's that they got to do to be able to put together a complete game.
For example, we came down to floor twice.
You were alley oop to Mitch.
They couldn't stop it.
We got two ducks in a row off values to Mitt that we go away from it.
Why don't go away from something that works until the other team stops it.
Things like that, things like that, you know, you know some small decisions that we gotta make make better decisions on the floor.
I'm not entirely upset at the game, though.
What I want to see the Knicks do is play well against a good team and they did that.
It played well against a good team.
It had a chance to win against a good team.
I wish that they would have pulled it out.
I wish that they would have won, but I'm encouraged.
I feel like we could beat San Antonio.
I feel that we could beat Brooklyn.
We haven't won two games in a row yet.
I feel like we can win the next two games. I really do.
I really feel like we can win the next two games.
From the things that I'm seeing, you got to be focused.
I'm coming to you guys am coming.
We got to be focused.
We gotta have my straight.
We can't fall and feel like you get frustrated because of the losses and if we can put if we can put some things together, man, we could beat San Antonio, and not as good as they're not as good as he used to be.
And we could beat Brooklyn, put together to get a mystery.
I say I'm coming to you now, man.
What's going on? You at the game tonight, right? Yeah.
Um, I gotta I gotta say aboutthe, man, you know, where's the phone? I'll be right with you, man.
I was really frustrated with the game because we were up 17.
Happy grew, and I'm not saying if we saw two different things them.
But I've seen when the starters were and that Frank was in that the next up team.
But then when they finished substitute, go back and watch the game go back on the game.
That that moment, um, started to shift before the subs can Before the cops came in, that mill may start.
The whole arena was quiet.
You could hear me yell it that we know it's quiet one.
And that's when we go up.
But maybe I don't know.
I gotta take a look back at the game because I was there, but, um, I'm gonna be religious.
Um um, I've lost a lot of patients is, though, Like I'm talking to other Knick fans at the game.
We all there, like we're just talking.
And we were just green that man.
We didn't understand the rotation substitution.
Oh, OK, so So tell me, listen to tell me.
Tell me which one you hold up.
Tell me which ones you didn't understand tonight because he did.
He must have been something right to build a 17 point lead, right? Well, every game is going to substitution every game You're substitutes.
Have they got to come in and perform and they gotta perform? I've been I have been I have been on coach fizzed l's tail.
Okay, I've been getting out. Coach Fizdale.
I've been getting our coach Fizdale.
I have for a lot of stuff, but he had to have done something right for the team to build a 17 point lead.
When you bring in your subs, those players gotta perform, they gotta perform.
You don't say because no one's Frank played 32 minutes.
There's 48 minutes for that point guard spot.
He played 32 of them.
Dennis Smith Jr played 15 minutes, 15 minutes right.
He brought Dennis Smith Jr Dennis Majority at the game with about nine minutes left in the fourth quarter because he didn't like what he was doing, right.
I can't just put and blame everything on Fizdale for this game.
Really? I can't e I don't think anybody can.
Players gotta perform, too.
They gotta perform too.
And I don't feel like I mean, when you bring the sub's n, you have something We're supposed to be a deep team is not what everybody said. We're deep team.
We got one of the deepest teams in the league, right? You got Dennis with Julia supposed supposed to coming off the bench, and I'm not getting on Dennis Smith Jr right now.
But, you know what I'm saying is, these guys gotta perform and be able to do it when they get in the game, because you're not gonna have every player playing 48 minutes again, you know, can there be so you know, you could could there be some some, You know, maybe some things done better, Ofcourse, ofcourse.
But I'm not gonna take the put this straight on Fizdale shoulders because I don't care. I don't care.
I don't. I don't care.
You build a 17 point lead, players players can hold a 17 point lead, went out without the coach.
Their players can hold a 17 point lead.
They should be able to.
Players gotta perform to you every time, every as a coach, when I make mistakes like we had our first game yesterday, we lost the game.
And while yes, players made a lot of mistakes the young players, they make a lot of mistakes.
It made a lot of mistakes.
The one thing we did some players is somebody was coaching, too, because we gotta figure out where to put some of you guys in certain spots because we got a bunch of new players, you know, we got like, five or six new players.
We gotta figure some things out.
We haven't figured it out yet, Right, so we got we got We need to know what you guys could do.
You know, we gotta come up with some better.
You know, some better schemes to make sure that you guys are in the best position possible, right? So it, too is It's not just the places not just the coaches.
You don't say this is a night.
There are nights when it's mainly the coach there, nights when it's mainly the players.
I feel like tonight was mainly the players because there were situations then they were in when they made a better decision on the floor.
The players I'm talking about escape could be different.
This game could be different.
You say, You know, go ahead as a finished finished That what you're saying, I had to cut you all because I just I'm just not feeling just writing down our Fizdale on this one, This little scene at the instead of being up by one beaks out of three or whatever that word is out. That three.
That was a three point swing, and I didn't understand much more down the straight.
He really confused me through his runner.
It was so frustrating being there, since when, you know you have the whole building quiet with the next man.
But then when you get back and then you have to lease ran Marcus Moore, he's really playing ice water.
It's so frustrating seeing it selfish.
They played down stretch, and it's like, Oh God, I mean, it's not.
It's not all affected.
The prayers have to say something that he's got.
It doesn't make sense how showbiz they can play down there when they were playing so good during the game.
I'm literally Sim.
I'm at game looking at him.
Play good Fantine.
That's for moving the ball.
But then down the stretch, these tools just go crazy and just want to play.
I understand Marcus Morris from Philly.
He wants to play good for the ring, but he's hurting the team itself, and it was really freaking frustrating down the steps.
See him do it when we could have won the game.
I'm literally seeing plays of him being so selfish.
It's ruining the team chemistry.
We're not scoring downstairs were literally Hand is moving.
So I'll see them bring the ball up the court during the stretch and just shoot the ball by himself.
And is that I'm just really looking at.
I'm just amazed by R J.
Very being open, Frank being open.
He's not given in the book.
You got Julius Randle, Qian Dajun a double team down the stretch and he's throwing the ball the way.
It's crazy seeing this.
I'm just There was a is a second.
Well, I mean, I get it, I get it.
But those are player.
Those are player mistakes.
I'm coming to you, Mark.
I'm coming to you.
So I had a good day today and I'm happy about what I've seen in the game when I'm also also gonna sizzle depression, mold Because, bro, this Fizdale scapegoating Listen, you've got to stop because it is.
It's it's getting annoying out.
Change the difference when you have your vests.
It's also know it started in the beginning.
Third quarter, you're seeing Benson.
Is he bust up the success he went, He went over on the screens and it's gonna run the patrol the way it was running.
Ben Simmons controlled at the four threes.
Four threes in the next half and number two seem I bench bro, that when people when people go at 50 Sistol troubled distant yet, bro, when you look at that second unit was lazy, bro, there's lazy They didn't keep that same mo mentum that the Saudis hat and people talking about plans have to say, you know that, right? do you know, Tosh, is that I gotta play 38 minutes anymore.
You know, you could have played 13 but when he could have played 1 13 you gotta play it more 13 minutes by 13 minutes.
He only played 13 minutes.
You're gonna play born 13 minutes, coach phase.
Gonna kept away from 1 13 minutes.
That's well, that's one way I'm going to say I don't believe Coach made the right decision.
Tide's gonna played more than 13 minutes tonight.
It should have 11 points.
It was more about the end.
It was more about scoring, too.
I think that's another thing that the next light took because people think that the next could just sub in display.
This player, bro, we're offensively Challenge.
But Hodge was scoring tonight.
Like I said, he had, like, 11 parents know Taj.
You think I should have been anything about a similar when Mitch came in? When this came in, he did what was necessary.
That tablet closing with two.
What? When? The last few minutes, I got to say the rest.
One road to look, look, look like that to me was on face.
Right? Because Mitch wasn't school.
He had those two alley Oops.
We didn't go back to it.
Uh, Mitch was a school, but Tides was scoring tonight, and he was playing good defense, too, you know? Said I think Todd should have been in the game.
The oh, Did you see it really defense Because everybody's just like count it up.
But you know, something is a good team.
I've never seen a 17 point lead go away so fast in my life.
We were obscenity to three minutes later, Gay was a five point game.
I was like, What the I mean, that's really that's what we'll all sit.
That's where we lost the game right there the last minute in the third quarter.
The last name, the third point when it came back.
That's when we lost.
Because, silly, I got the mo mental and a defense just waitinto hyperbolic Did Yeah, yeah, just want parabolic mole skin in this art that offensively good to school on defense like that, you gotta understand that they understand that we don't have a whole friends of players that can that can score on good defense like that, have guys that you all said that we don't have that way.
Court Frankfurt, just But But listen, but Toxie, times just like that kind of belief.
But that kind of guy touches that kind of guy that can really like Look, you know, his his voice, his presence on the floor is able to calm a team down, bring a team together.
You know what I'm saying? Ah, and I feel like I feel and I know the mark is going on.
I don't know what Mark is saying right now, but I wanted to get my point out about ties Gibson being on the floor.
So I'm gonna come back the mark, and I'm having repeat everything that he just said because I know Mark, get in here What I was trying to say.
So I'm gonna have to come back and repeat everything that he just said about Frank Miller Keen because I do want to get into Frank Miller Kina and his development because, frankly, Lucchino's clearly developing clearly developing into a very good point.
Got while let me not say very good.
Let me not jump off the jump off the roof just yet.
But Frank is definitely developing.
Developing it and he's, he's he's setting himself up so that Coach Fizdale is very hard to take Frank off the floor.
You don't say Mark a Mark.
Kmart be smart on the floor.
A floor marketing behaviour markets in his own world.
He can't hear what I'm saying.
China as Michael Question Can't even here with him sit because he's in its own way.
Coughing, ladies and gentlemen.
So while markets go ahead and rolling in his own world All right, I want to listen to Coach Fizdale.
Is Mark brought up? Frank Miller.
Kina, I wanna listen to Coach Fizdale reap some praises on Frank Miller Kane and hopefully you guys can hear this.
All right, this is Coach Fizdale on Frank Miller Akina and how he is developing as a point guard.
I'm gonna take it, Put my cell phone up to the mic.
So you guys gonna hear this? Let's go.
But what do you see from Frank? Just came to game.
It's getting better and better and better and more confident.
Um, you know, like I said, uh uh, we've gone through so much noise, you know he and I together, and I'm just so proud of him with the way he's handled everything.
And now he's just, you know, he's not even thinking about it.
I think you could say he's just out there playing and having fun and, uh, all the team.
We all have a lot of confidence and frightened Allocator.
Ladies and gentlemen, he's definitely becoming ah, guy.
That is very hard for Fizdale to take him off the floor.
You could see his confidence coming.
I was looking at one shot that, frankly, Lucchino pulled up tonight, and when he pulled it up, you could see that he didn't care for it.
I mean, obviously he wanted to make the shot, but he wasn't afraid to miss the shop, you know, he just pulled it up with confidence because he knew, You know, he knows now, like like he's He has settled in a CZ being the starting point guard pregnant Latina has.
He's no longer looking over his shoulder, and you can see it in his play.
You know, he's getting more and more confident.
You know, people say, you know, you don't get you don't get 17 points and frankly allocated every night.
We may not get it every night, but I think we're going to start seeing play like this from frightening Lucchino more often because he's he's he's confident he's feeling it, you know, saying and he's understanding the NBA's.
That's what he told coach when he went into the office Ah few weeks ago, he said.
Coach, I understand what it takes to play in the n B a.
Now, that's what he said.
I understand, he said.
I understand what it takes to play in the n b A.
I haven't showed it, but I'm a dog, too.
That's what Frank told coach Fizdale, you know, and Frank, I think Frank is getting it.
He's definitely getting it big.
Shot out the Frank Miller Keenan man.
I love what I'm seeing for, frankly, Latina and listen Frank himself.
People asked him, of course, just like everybody is complaining that, frankly, Lucchino was taking out the game and the substitutes came in and all that kind of stuff.
Frank was axed about it about taking out the game, he said, I'm a little bit tired.
I want to say to you, Isaiah and to Nate.
It's everybody else.
You know who says, Well, you know, our Jane Barry can play 37 minutes.
Why can't Frank, This is Frank has played 37 minutes.
He's played 38 minutes.
He has go back and look at it.
It's not like he has it, since he Since he's become the starter, he's played those type of minutes.
But also, let's think about this.
Every player has not made the same.
Every player isn't built the scene.
Every player, they play a different type of basketball game.
Okay, Frank Miller Kina is an aggressive type player.
He plays with a lot of energy on the floor.
He plays with a lot of defense.
When you have a player like that, you've got to give some breaks.
We have a player plays with that type of energy, right? That type of aggressiveness on defense.
You got to give him a break and let their body recover and then put him back in the game.
You got to I know you listen.
When you've got someone like that, you would really want to play them.
You do you want to play him 48 minutes.
There's other people don't bring that type of defense, but they get tired.
Why? Because they're human beings.
They're not machines.
Ladies and gentlemen, the human beings, they're human beings.
Feel I played 32 minutes.
It's still a good amount of minutes.
Well, a good amount of minutes.
You know, I get the frustration in all of that.
I understand it.
I understand all of that, you know? And I get it.
Gamow, I'm gonna come back to you, bro.
What's going on, man? Yeah, Uh, I don't know, man.
I mean, I didn't get all of Mark's ran because I was trying to get a word in, but I don't think Mark it here.
When I was saying I don't know if it was the technical issues you know of it was just Mark going off so he couldn't hear what I was saying.
Um, but, you know, we're talking about Frank Miller.
Keep a man and, you know, Frank is really becoming.
He's really becoming a staple.
And I'm so glad that Coach Fizdale on the retina, rest of the coaching staff, the Knicks as a whole recognizing the value off Frank, you know, because it hasn't always been that they have recognized the value of this kid.
But now they're truly recognizing the value, his value to this team.
You know me, and you know, he's, he's, he's, he's producing.
Not maybe not always offensively, but he's producing at least defensively.
You know, saying, Do you think Are you looking at Frank and say, Yeah, you know, from what I'm seeing right now, Frank is definitely our point guard of the future.
Are you looking at that right now saying that the way I would play the game, which would be I need I need a defensive clear and look you could.
Frank is a guy who could play off guard.
And when guys like, um, Moore's go on to other teams, you know you could play RG.
You know, even at the three, you know, do I see physical keeping them on? No cause physical ones that he wants to.
He wants the cold Anthony type of point guard he wants out of the air on Fox Guy.
The beach to the basket was looking to score.
His first option is to, you know, look to school amu*****t of basket dribble drive past outside perimeter.
Use his athleticism to Georgia.
Double teams in the paint, stuff like that.
Like because if that was a case, if Frank was the point guard of the future in their eyes, I think this offense is gonna look a lot different times.
There'd be a lot more for both sides of the other ball.
You want to be one side dribble handoffs and and beat your man.
I sold and pass it out the double team or the defense collapse.
So you you do things to get Frank open or two.
Get Frank more opportunity Now.
I'll say it's about Frank.
I'll say Frank is improving more so in what fizzle wants to do because he's taking guys want one now is shooting off the dribble.
You know, extreme confidence has a little step back.
Ah, you know, a little.
Not like a floating, you know, it's like a you know, a little.
He gets to the painting, kind of like, you know, face in a phase of what? May that little nice little shop I wanted to Because look, so we've seen tonight, but the next don't have a finished, you don't have a couples right, This team out of successes will be predicated on defense.
Way of getting at these teams is not us, you know, coming down, shooting threes and the only thing twos.
And they miss a few shots here and there.
If it for not every time we make these runs where active on the boards were getting stills, we get in interceptions passively.
You know me like I want him to be the point guard of future because I see the value in him and we're not even running the system that best suits him.
And he's still steadily improving.
Now you still need more confidence, because even tonight, when he made that little step back, three won't got on him the first time because he passed it out.
And I think there's some more.
So I can remember who the more it's passed back outside and they dribble.
And what I think you're in shot and made it, but it's like that initial shot when you get the two wide open. Gotta shoot that.
But yeah, but you know how much you know I had I had a problem with wall clock for his wrong.
That one right because that's because if that was, I did have a problem and I didn't have a problem all in the same vein, right? I did not did because if that was Chris Paul who didn't take that shot, nobody would say anything about it.
Nobody would care what they all say.
Only read about what? Chris Paul, Chris, Paul.
And he's buying one of smarts, point guards of all time.
He's thinking of something, so it's not Chris.
Paul is not taking it because of a lack of confidence.
He's probably not taken it, because maybe it's shots not forming or he sees he sees something like Chris, Paul is that you see something and try to force the issue.
Try to forget that pass or get it to me.
Oh, this advantage of you know, an advantage.
You know, Miss Matthews me someone else.
So he's maybe see somebody about Chris.
Paul smile like that.
Frank is not do that, because again he hesitates now has this kind of increase.
But But But But what I'm saying is, but what I'm saying is if Chris Paul did the exact same play, nobody will say anything because he gets the respect as somebody who's thinking of something and maybe in a year or two will realize, Oh, well, maybe Frank is thinking of something.
Maybe Frank has some things in mind.
It didn't work out at that moment so that he did something else.
He's not getting that kind of respect that because he hasn't proved himself to be that type of a point guard.
But you know, Frank has, you know, in the past, Frank has been showing over the past few games.
He's not hesitating on taking shots.
Obviously, the play after that he stepped back and knock down the three right right.
Thing about assume is that we've seen Frank not take those shots because of a lack of confidence.
So I think Walcott phrases, sees a precedent there and seize hesitation and reverses.
It is Chris Paul, you know, the guys in play in a league for so long.
He's a fearless player and you've seen it.
That's all right.
You know what? He's not not taking a shot because he doesn't think he can make it as a as he scared.
But what Frank? I mean, and I don't blame too much way Still got to be paid for the kid and knows something about is that we're not playing the proper, the offense that you seem excel in, you know, partially with you in a second I first year was more ball pick and pop, pick and roll with KP.
Even with France, this offense is literally maybe wanted to guys set picks for each other and moving its emotion.
And other than that, you go.
I So So we inside to be patient.
The fact that one Frank is still turning right and Frank is still he's still trying to play at Let's for lack of a better term.
He's trying playing Americanized game, where it's Eisold Beecher men, and that's not his game.
He doesn't have that athleticism, doesn't have the mindset, but he's slowly trying to Akron, mate.
And I remember the beginning, Caesar says.
Sim, Frank and, um, fizzle.
They got to meet each other halfway in terms of Hey, I'm gonna do things to get you a better position.
It's a CNN Frank.
You've got to come halfway and do things that I want you to do, and I think that Frank is more so coming towards what fizz Om want wants more than what physical owns a fizzle.
More than what? Franklin, What is it? Do them because we don't really play on ball.
I'm telling if this more ball, I've seen it where, like you showed that video last year, where Frank is a is a play where Frank had that passed to Ah, Sonya.
And, you know, I was only missed a shot.
There was so much more off ball movement in that one play.
Frank was quick and decisive with it is like he thought about it before in terms of, you know, where the boss was ago.
He's like, he's like a top notch quarterback where is like, I know what it was supposed to go.
You just gotta be there.
A pastor to house only has only Mr.
But it's a good play.
But we don't run that release in with this team.
Only we run the past reversals.
Like Aziza says, point out, we're in the past versus, and maybe you see one guy.
You see a doctor and get open off the perimeter.
Will you see Ah, Knox get open.
That's the only guys really moving a ball.
So to me I'm having with, um never keen is going back.
I just don't see the scene.
It was gonna say the same regime with physical.
It's not that I don't think I don't know, man.
I don't know, because I think he's beginning to find, you know, his learn his find his crevices within, within within what they're trying to do.
I think he's starting to find little spots where he knows he can get his shots.
He's obviously is not gonna be the kind of guy that forces shots, you know? I'm saying, you know, he's gonna you know, he's gonna take shots that are there for him.
Take shots that are open, you know? He's not gonna ease Neri.
Well, I'm not going to say never.
He's not the kind of guy right now that is going to be out there, You know, breaking down defenses with dribble, create shots, baby, in a year or two, though, because I see instances here and there where he can do it like when the shot clock is running down.
He has the ball. He has to just do something.
I've seen instances where he could break the defense down and get inside.
You know that's not his natural inclination yet, you know, saying Maybe will one day, maybe as he learns the game and he gets more confident, you know, he continues to find ways that he, you know, he could fit in offensively.
Um, with the remainder of this year, I think that he's going to be the starter for the remainder of this year.
Even when l for painting comes back, I don't know what's gonna happen with, uh, Dennis Smith Jr.
You know, I know peon.
You know, people are still saying that people are still saying that.
You know Dennis Smith Jr is David Fizdale is guy.
I'm not so sure there's a clear difference in the way the team looks when Dennis Smith Jr frightening Larkin is on the floor, you know, so I'm not so sure.
If Dennis Smith Jr was Fidel's guy, there wouldn't have been a discrepancy of his guy where he's like, I'm gonna make sure that the Smith Jr is getting his.
There would have been a discrepancy of 32 minutes for Frank in 15 minutes for them to Smith Jr.
For paying some guy say this real quick about that.
I still think that he wants.
I got to say two things.
That's mystery does not look healthy.
You know, his explosions, not there.
He looks a little fatter.
Think Mitch is still hurt because he just couldn't go after Reed like he just looked off it with Desert Julia.
I'll just say this right.
I think it's really trying to bring him on.
And I think they run more direct plays for Desmond.
You write whenever there's an injury, he always shouted, Makes sure that Mitch is in there so I could run a pick and roll.
And then that this move, Jews able to penetrate into the basket off the pick and roll and get into the paint.
And we've seen desperate here, we say.
But against the pain, make those little little shots whatever, and that's his game right now is not really gonna hit shots like, you know, he's been in a few three Syrian air, so I think that fizzles play.
Now look, Frank has given me the best value at the point guard position right now, so I can't take him.
I need his defense.
He's only has really keeping us in the game.
But if Dennis was Judas, Lily get healthy, you know.
So he recovered from his step Mom's passing away, you know, for what we have right now.
Look, is he gonna know units of star point guard? No, but there's a junior in terms of offensively.
He He basically represents what physical ones.
And, you know, for these past few games, he's been doing OK offensively.
Just that Frank is just better overall.
But, you know, it is what is, I think I think fizzle.
Honestly, Just looking towards the draft, he's gonna look for ah Cole Anthony type, you know, you know, active athletic point guards.
But, you know, for we have right now, I think that he's gonna find value.
He's gonna find ways to get Dennis Smith Jr going because they don't really run for plays for Frank like that.
Every time You see Frank, scoring is not a set play for Frank.
But every time you see DOJ scorn for the most part, it's really called on place with these J that pickle roll.
But I mean so I mean but but but But I think that.
I mean, yeah, because Because, you know, Frank, I mean, you're not gonna call plays for Frank.
I don't think you're gonna call plays for point, because he's not.
He's not a creator that way, you know? I mean, you know, Frank is going to be more of a guy that's gonna get, you know, when you when you get an open shot or, you know, awful.
I mean, but Frank does get those elbow jumpers off the screen and rolls where he knocks down those jumpers, gets those off screen rules.
It may not be on every watch those places every time he makes those plays, Two of the guys basically cheat off the guy that Senate pickers usually say more so Taj or even Mitch, because they expected they're trying to force Ah, uh, Frank t hit those shots, you know? I mean, it's not just calling plays for shooting, right.
They don't call, place it to show frank strength, which is yes, the pick and roll.
But also more off bullet guys.
They're coming around, and friend could make that proper pass because I've seen it with these j.
Where did she has to make that type ass and just hesitates.
He just mentally he's not there yet.
Especially this year I've seen sometimes last year.
But frankly, I really don't call enough off both to really Showcase is passing out of you watch the first year we want a psycho.
The first half morning say, Frank was eating off that off ball movement like him and KP, and you have a guy I don't think it is.
There's no back, remember? But you had ah, three points. Yeah.
Was it shot? National dreams.
Okay, I'm drawing a blank now, but guys were literally coming off.
So it was basic AP and another guy to basically flank Frank where I got the pick and roll, pick and pop.
And then I got another guy coming around and frame was basically driving in. Boom, boom, boom.
Make it collapse.
Get the guy on this hit past KP passing on the perimeter, and that showcases value.
So Frank was getting the assist of the hockey passes which show this guy can facilitate an offense.
If you have more of a book, it could be effective.
Even these are scorned, but there's no doesn't run like that, but fizzle reason Run, old bull, period.
So I don't want to say I'm just saying I'm afraid when l for painting comes back.
You know where Dennis Smith Jr is gonna end up in the They have a chart on this team, you know? You know that. That's going to be interested.
It's gonna be interesting to see where he ends up on the depth chart.
Ladies gentleman, I don't want to make an announcement real quick.
And thank you for being here with me.
I appreciate you make sure you subscribe to the channel.
Ring that notification Bell would be notified whenever I go.
Live video opposed to my community section.
You know, a SportsCastr.
Make sure you follow me out, SportsCastr.
I'm sorry tonight when they were not able to bring up highlights and have many interviews and stuff like that because dealing with, uh, slower, slower internet tonight.
You know, I had some Ah, some issues outside of my house where they put it in new new lines.
I don't know what kind of lines.
I guess new electric lines under the ground where I live.
We don't have telephone poles with electric lines.
That go above ground.
All of our electrical lines are below ground, so I guess they're putting in some new lines below the ground.
So the digging up my yard, they're digging up the neighbor's yard and doing all this stuff around the house.
But the new lines and they cut my Internet Mine does at home doing work today.
And, um, you know, uh, uploaded some stuff for a client.
And I'm like, What's up? Why is my Internet not working? S So I call up Horizon and then you find out that, you know the line is being cut.
They're coming out tomorrow to fix it.
So I'm operating off of a hot spot, which is doing okay, but, you know, it could be doing better.
Well, you know, it could be better obviously if I had the faster Internet.
So we're doing what we could do the way that we can do it.
So subscribe to the channel anyway, and I do want to make an announcement for all of my Knicks fans out there and Rangers fans, if you're looking to get into show business, there's an opportunity for you right now.
If you like the Knicks.
And you like the Rangers.
You are a hard core failed.
Excuse me of the Knicks and the Rangers, I want you to pay attention to this ad that I'm about to bring across the screen.
Okay? Right now, Paladin.
Oh, casting as partnered with Pepsi.
Excuse me, MSG Network, the host to find a host to represent the fans.
And that person would be called a chief fan officer inside the coffin, All in the microphone.
Ladies, gentlemen, I'm also sick, by the way.
All right, So if you have extensive knowledge of the Knicks and Rangers and you know the history of players and you know the game apply to be the chief and Officer Pala Dino casting reached out to me.
I don't have extensive knowledge of the Rangers.
They need one person who has extensive knowledge of the Knicks and the Rangers.
So if you are that person, reach out to me and I hook you up with Paladino so that you can audition.
And I'm probably not doing a good ad fit in right now because I'm coughing all over the microphone.
But my throat was tickling because I got this blew a cold or whatever is going on with me right now.
So I'm gonna say one more time.
Pala Dino Casting is connecting with Pepsi in MSG to find a host to represent Knicks and Rangers fans.
That host would be called Ah, Chief fan officer.
If you have extension extensive knowledge of the Knicks and Rangers and you know the history of players of the history of the team, you know, the game apply.
And how do you apply Reach out to me? I'll get you a contact with Pala Dino casting.
And then you can put you back in the rain and maybe you could be Come, chief faint officer.
So, um, all you gotta do is hit me up.
That's Russell at nothing but necks dot com.
And I make sure I get you in touch with ho you need get in touch with All right.
So, ladies and gentlemen, make sure you do that again.
Our pilot's eyes for coughing all over the microphone.
But whatever reason during that time, and I'm gonna do that again, my throat kept pitching cause I got this cold and it's killing me right now.
All right, Phillipe, Next up.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have San Antonio.
I think we can go on a two game win streak.
I think we could be San Antonio that I think we could be Brooklyn.
I want to know what you guys think.
Oh, Can we be San Antonio? Can we be broken? San Antonio is not doing too well right there, like you see, I think the under 500 right? Uh, that's my check.
They're like, Yeah, the five and 10.
So they just lost to the Wizard.
So, you know, last time it was a gun.
Exact that Boyd, Uh, yon tamer who killed us with a speed.
I mean, like, we didn't get back.
Um, remember how well he shot? But I know he was killing us off the fast breaks.
We could be done.
Look, the Spurs, right now, Popovich might be on his last legs are still a great coach, not taking that away from him.
But, I mean, he lost in wizards.
Even though Roy hot tomorrow is good.
Don't get me wrong.
That boy could play, but I mean, the loss of a wizard so royal we had 15 tonight.
Bradley Bill had 33.
So and then date Davis.
Bert Towns had 21.
It's Schmidt had 21.
So that sounds like there's some defensive breakdown.
So this myth is not a good shooter.
So they're probably just playing them straight up.
Normally uses being guys, that basket facilitating on you have forces.
But I mean, yeah, we could be the man, because last game we had, um like, right now, they're kind of that, you know, there's a dearth of talent.
The market's Algiers still solid.
The only I told points, the Rosen had 31 points.
I think he killed us at the end of the game, Right? Like in the fourth quarter, you kind of came alive, remember? Um, you know, so right now, I mean, I don't have a great discount.
I just remember that DJs on T v Auntie Murray killed us.
Like with his speed.
And that goes so weirdness.
You gotta know what they put their players.
I got no, this scouting.
I mean, I gotta put you gotta play closer to kid.
You can't let him be you off the dribble laying back foursome to shoot for they become apparent primitive player.
I mean, NASA be throughout the game and because sin, it's it's deflating, you know? I mean, like I said, I think it's gonna be a blowup with Randall and somebody because, you know, outside that little possibly have the inbounds play.
We stole the ball and got the foul.
You know, Randall is just He's such a drag dude.
But he wants the ball on often so much.
And it's like if I was a player like No, no, no, no.
Until you show me on defense, I'm not passing the ball. So you do.
Go on, get the ball.
Being a proper spots that might get you the ball.
So you know this again with the Spurs, you got to be disciplined.
Has published a cz Muchas the seam is suffering right now.
Five and 10 is a top notch coach.
He's gonna know your weaknesses are he's gonna attack that, you know me.
So it has got to be smart, man.
I think we could beat them.
Look, Rudy Gay is not a good shooter, but he kind of hit a few shots.
Ah, few places last game.
Um Yeah, I'm not scared of spurs, man.
Just be the guy got practice.
Had been You gotta play with the right fundamentals, man.
You know, if you're playing, if you're playing with a guy like like I remember last year two years ago in Popular is getting out of rockets out just because you're screwed too much periphery wasn't taking it down low.
A guy like Mitch Robinson, you know the guy and the guy's shooting, you know, to like six or two for seven or some like that, too, for eight from the perimeter.
And his shots aren't falling.
Mitch Robinson don't go out and run out him and allow him to drive to the back playback.
You know, he did that tonight against indeed I'm like, What are you doing? You know, I mean situational awareness, situational basketball.
That's the type of stuff that gets teams with lesser talent.
That's that. Get some wins.
You know, part of it has been doing that for years.
Even before Kawai, we want a little low parents where you had those veterans and guys get her situation.
Oh, basketball that can get you a lot of winds, Trust me.
Fizzle meets a priest that he also looked accountability Re Tommy Stream.
So do we talk about all these guys playing? Terrible.
Okay, They play terrible.
Take him out the **** game.
What is it? What is Mitt More? It's gonna do.
I'm gonna do I'm gonna hit, you know, take them out the game.
You're still coach.
Don't matter how old you are.
You could still learn from the game. And Morse knows he's doing.
It's a little bit too much.
Do you do little to her? But when you're high, I give it a ball all the time. Broke.
We did not hot, dude.
And you have a three on one fast break.
We have that ugly turn around or work that I don't know.
That was where I think we don't like 5%.
She said, Awful shot off balance as I do.
You're taking us out the game and like, I think it's Andrew.
Everybody said you showed a bad example to the young guy's not gonna pick up your bad habits and think they could do it because one is no accountability.
I suffer for striking a Latina.
And to now it's like he's doing it.
Let me get my own my own to me.
So physically suppress accountability.
I disagree with Mark in terms of all beginning to know.
Because the thing about that, yes.
If your plays at being stupid, you take them out.
So to be men, be disciplined.
Do the proper scouting reports on these guys.
You know who the shooters are, You know, their guns are You know what Deante Murray has done to you in the past? A smart man way in this game you had on last game That now what? Now I'll say this.
I think from game to game coach visit there has done a good job of making adjustments from Jake on game to game.
You know, a CE farce playing the same team, right? You know, we seen it, Gil.
We've seen it with the Cavs.
The Knicks played better.
We've seen it with Boston and explain better.
We've seen it with Dallas, where they won both games in Dallas.
Well, see, Well, we played Philadelphia soon, I think next week.
So we'll see if I mean, we could have won this game.
We were up 17 We'll see if those adjustments will be made.
And then now we played San Antonio was today.
We play San Antonio on Friday and we'll see what adjustments have could be made now.
The Knicks had a lead in the fourth quarter against San Antonio.
So, UM, you know, we'll see.
But I do believe that he's made good adjustments game to game when we played the same team twice and we'll see if you know we could make those that just make those adjustments again.
But I think that we were playing.
San Antonio will play in Brooklyn.
We played those two teams the 1st 2 games of the season.
I think we could beat both of them.
I think we could put together our 1st 2 game win streak of the season.
I really think we came.
I don't know of Nate's there, is he? He's not.
I don't see his picture up there.
I don't see his face up there.
But Nate, are you there? No, he's not dead.
But I think we could beat him.
I say I'm coming to you.
San Antonio, You're on the way back.
You were about to Connecticut for Philly, Right? Driving? Yeah.
Was it a long drive? The ride back wasn't bad.
I was, like, four hours to get there, um, to get that again.
So it wasn't okay.
Oh, but ah, San Antonio talked to me about San Antonio.
Can we be saying that, Tony? I think we could be San Antonio.
I think we can get our first to our first ah, to game win streak.
I think we can win our first get out first.
Back to back victories over the next two games s Oh, I totally agree with you.
There's no plate on its stand talking.
There's only one person.
Tony. Tony. Oh, excuse me.
I don't care how bad team is.
A man still left the basketball me to meet the greatest coach of all time.
So any player I'm this worried about Greg popular, uh, adjustments and others to the aim.
It he's like you.
It's only, you know, you know the crazy talk about what's his name.
What's the guy named shooting guard? What's the name tomorrow? Tomorrow is the market, Rosa.
Uh, he's about looking like he's getting older.
You know, it is not that You know, you seem to expect them at the same Senate.
That war used to, and they're, you know, they're probably gonna blow it up so the public gonna start re failed.
So I think this is a great opportunity.
I really was angry, but there was a lot of good science out of this game today.
Like, if you just tell me if you minus the hair a bowl at the end next, inexplicably a good game.
Besides, Kevin looks horrible defense, Which, and, sir, I mean this kid.
I mean, I don't care what next summer he does.
He does not need to do anything often suddenly Just need to work on defense.
If he doesn't meet as they do anything offensive, you need the work.
You know, I think we're proud of it.
We can't have a moral victory.
We got a countess as well.
We need a win when we need, and we gotta play like we played for most of the Philly game size of little silly isil, Airballs waken minus the hero balls.
I think we could Yeah, I don't think I don't think that the Knicks are looking and saying, Um, you know, we played well against the 70 Sixers, and you know, we got it, but I don't think so.
You know, I think his team understands it's expected of them, and you know, they want to go out and win basketball games.
I don't think they're taking moral victories with him.
I really know now can they do it? That's one thing, but I don't think they're taking more victories.
I don't think they're taking the victories.
Um, I want to give Ah couple of shout outs for super chats.
Uptown Swan, you said, thinking for the super Sat.
By the way you said Here, get some cough drops.
Guy feel better? Yes, I plan to.
I'm actually getting better.
You should have seen me yesterday.
I was down and out yesterday.
I still had a coach as well, but I was down and out and agree How? Thank you for the superstar.
You said get well soon.
Hopefully this thing breaks up.
Yeah, but you know, when you work when you send a lot of time around kids, this is gonna happen.
You know you're going to get sick a lot.
And I spent a lot of time around.
Kids meet elementary school kids, middle school kids, high school kids, junior high school kids, you know.
You know, we have a gym full of kids as they're working on the big basketball game.
You know, 30 kids every day working on their game, 40 kids every day, working on their game, you know, Um, so will you remind a lot of kids, man, you're gonna get sick as basically what it is.
But, you know, I went to a coffin spell a little earlier.
Now, hopefully the coughing spell is gone.
Okay? And I could make this announcement a little bit better if you are a fan of the New York Knicks and the New York Rangers.
And you know, you have extensive knowledge of the team players.
The game in this position just might be for you.
All right? Pepsi and MSG Networks, they've come together, and they're looking for a host to represent Knicks and Rangers fans as the Chief Fain officer.
All right, so if you have this kind of knowledge of the Knicks and the Rangers apply apply for this all you got? Just email me and I will give you the information so that you can put your bidding the look of her fans.
They're looking for emcees, influences, bloggers, bloggers, journalists.
And you're interested.
You want to get into show biz? Is your opportunity to get into show biz, man the opportunity to do it.
So I'm gonna put this.
I'm gonna put this in my comments on YouTube as well.
So you can have that chance.
And I posted on Twitter and Instagram as well.
All right, Paladin. Oh, casting.
So make sure you put your name in the hat.
If you think this is you make sure you do it.
And it was soon because I'm pretty sure it's gonna be plenty of people that's putting their name in the hat.
All right, ladies.
Gentlemen, Look, I'm going to get about here so I can, you know, get some medicine in me.
I don't really take a lot of medicine.
Uh, I tried not to, but I got some work that I got to get done tonight, so I'm going to take some medicine.
I try not to take medicine.
You know, I try to let whatever I have, whatever is going on.
I'm trying to let it run its course, you know, And I keep I keep going and I keep working, Keep moving.
But I tried to let it run, you know, let it run its course, but I'll take some cough drops of something since I got super chat for.
I appreciate you, you know, try to clear this up, but I will be on tomorrow, no matter what it is.
If I Hopefully the Internet is fixed by the time I get on tomorrow.
If not, then we'll be doing it the same way, All right, But I'll be honest of all so we could do a gay preview the next verse.
City San Antonio Spurs.
I think we can get two wins in a row looking forward to it.
I want to see us do it.
We had a 17 point lead, but I felt good about some of the things that I saw.
Obviously, the players, you know, made some bad decisions down the stretch of the game.
You know, they could have did some things much better down the stretch of the game, but I'm starting to see better signs that the team is still healthy.
You know, internally, there's still healthy.
They still believe they still believe almost still believe you know me. I could see the signs.
I don't see the signs that they're giving up and did.
They're stopping that.
They really ready to throw the season down the tubes.
I believe that they believe, you know, And if they can be nice, if they could come out and they can get two wins, you know, they still might just be five and 11 but they're keeping themselves a flute.
You know, we didn't do after stretch.
We pick off couple wins here.
Couple wins there.
You know, ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna get up out of here and don't end.
You know, as I float on off the screen, I bring this adverti*****t back up so you can look at it as I'm leaving Day.
I am going to catch you guys tomorrow.
Gonna go get me some rest.
Gonna go, uh, get some some herbs.
I mean, some healing herbs in me.
Not the kind of herbs you guys probably thinking about.
Bosom healing herbs.
We'll try to get some of that in me, you know? I mean and come back fresh tomorrow.
Ladies and gentlemen, I will catch you guys tomorrow and I'll be peaceful for the rest of the night.
