All right, What is going on? Everybody, I am back here.
Sorry about that.
But I am back here on the stream.
Thanks so much for tuning in 17 minutes left in the first period between the Capitals and Rangers.
That game just underway on Wednesday night Hockey and the Rangers have around mid ice.
This will be taken away by the Washington Capitals.
This one will be played around the boards.
Lundquist is back there to deal with it now, a battle up against the boards here and the capitals of the one who comes, the one who comes out with the puck now a shot from Backstrom that saves made by Henrik Lundquist, now Pa Nick that's taken away and a big hit there down when a Ranger on the play, now the capital, is trying to build out their end was taken away by the Rangers Rangers past the blue line.
This is passed off an opportunity behind the goal, the wraparound shot not quite executed there, but a good opportunity for the Rangers.
This puck will be played all the way back by the Washington Capitals.
Thanks Patrick for joining the broadcast.
What is going on welcoming hope.
You're having a good night and an opportunity here and hope he was there to make the safe.
That's when we'll play be played all the way down, ice off the boards.
The rosters I have here are really, really bad.
Now it's up against the boards.
The Rangers play the cross.
I didn't have enough time to, uh, write The roster's out, so I apologize.
So five minutes in taking it up is for the Capitals, I should say was Dmitry Orlov.
Now it's settled down by Ellard.
He is taken down here Come the Rangers.
The other way strong will drop back.
D'Angelo over to Panera.
Here is Artemis Panera and place it in the middle.
And this one now taken away.
Here come the capital's the other way.
A great opportunity there.
Free Jack A Brana.
But do you call for joining the broadcast? I appreciate it.
He hasn't taken away by Strom.
And now this shot will be deflected into the protective netting.
The shot there for the Washington Capitals coming from Brendan Leipzig.
What an opportunity There for the Rangers.
A little while ago but hope he was ready making the save.
And that brings us to our first commercial break of this game here on Wednesday night hockey.
Now let's head back to the Mavericks and Warriors, where the Mavericks lead at 47 18 10 38 to go in the second quarter.
So 10 36 left in the second quarter and the Warriors are being tourney apart here tonight, mostly by Luca Dawn Church.
But fouled there for the Golden State Warriors was Eric Pascal.
So he'll shoot two at the line, the first free throw or the sorry.
He got the and one.
My apologies and the shot is no good.
So here come the Mavericks the other way.
The Mavericks moving it around.
Now Delon Wright dishes it up and the shot from Arianna *****es.
No good, But there was a foul on the floor before that.
How about Villanova Wildcats in the MBA? Who are the 2017 and 18 N.
C a. A champion champions.
Excuse me? That includes Jalen Bronson on Dallas, Dante de Vincenzo on the Bucks.
That's just two out of five.
I mean, they got a lot of them.
It is impressive and this lay up is good.
The shot made there on the play.
What a great job.
Thereby Finney, Smith and he'll go to the line for a chance to convert a three point play.
And his free throw is no good.
The rebound taken by Golden State.
So you're Come Golden State the other way.
Here's Chi Bowman dishes it down low now.
Outside to Jordan Pool.
Here's Pascal driving to the rim.
The shot's no good, but Golden State when it back.
All going for the slam, there was Mark.
Use Chris and they'll call Defense of goaltending on the Mavericks and count the bucket.
Thanks for the tip, Paul.
I appreciate that.
I'm glad you're enjoying the broadcast here on SportsCastr 9 45 Left in the first half in this one.
Or rather, an offensive foul on marquees.
Chris, My apologies.
So this will be dished out.
Oh, that's That's a fell on.
Ah, Chi Bowman There.
Jalen Bronson initiating the contact.
So it is on the floor.
The Mavericks will inbound it from the side.
Put back on the play called on the shot clock, I should say, And this shot from Bronson is good right around from the free throw line, and the Mavericks are over the 50 mark with still nine minutes left in the half.
I mean, my goodness, that they could really break some records here for first half points if they kept this place up.
Bowman's open from three.
He had, said Bowman from Deep, and the Warriors close the gap to 28.
Chi Bowman with nine points, four for five from the field, probably the best producer in the lineup tonight for the Golden State Warriors.
Now this will be dished out from deep.
That's no good, but the rebound goes right back and to the hoop, another rebound and not being able to put it away.
There was the Mavericks opportunity after opportunity there, another shot that's missed and my goodness.
It just couldn't be put into the bucket by Maxie.
Clever and now on the other.
And the foul will be called on Dallas.
Wow, opportunity After opportunity.
There, you thought one of them would surely go in.
But that was not the case.
That and installment I'm Ari Stallman from outside is no good.
So Spellman goes back on D.
Meanwhile, here come the Mavericks the other way.
That ball was almost lost by Mariana, but she has at the corner popping the ball and he smartly placed it off.
He played it off of the leg there of a Golden State Warrior.
And that would be Amauri. Spellman.
Wow! Clever job.
Thereby Boban Marjanovic! And he will take a break here.
John Church also resting for now, anyways.
And thanks, Dale, Tina and Sean for all joining the broadcast.
I greatly appreciate it.
MBA action here on SportsCastr along with some NHL.
I would be doing the Celtics Clippers, but that game is at 10 p.
So Eastern for me.
So and I got school tomorrow, so I can't stay up for that one.
Not even the start.
Unfortunately, that should be a great one.
If I didn't have school tomorrow, I had 100% be commentating that game.
But I well, thanks Karam for joining the broadcast.
What is going on? Karam doing some, um, two way coverage here on SportsCastr between the NHL in MBA.
Friday, some good games taking place.
The Spurs against the 76 years at 8 p.
Eastern side and then the late game at 10:30 p.
Eastern time, it will be the Rockets and Clippers.
What a game that should be.
I might stay up for that one.
But who knows? Yes, Luca is going off again. Karam.
He really is amazing.
He's taking a rest on the bench right now, but I'm sure he'll be back out soon.
He scored 22 points in the first quarter and the Dallas Mavericks have 53 with eight minutes to go still in the second.
Now a three point shot.
The rebound taken by Willie Cauley Stein.
The I I assume so that you followed the maps to I figured you were.
You're a Mavericks fan, Karam.
Since you're the you're a Cowboys fan as well. Yeah.
Um, I figured that, Yeah.
I mean, it's a promising team, I will say with, with poor Zynga's and and, uh, Don Church, Of course.
I mean, wow, Eric Pascal.
Seven points tonight, three for nine from the field, two rebounds.
His second free throw is good.
That makes a 53 to 25.
Dallas leading bringing it up here for the Mavericks is Finney Smith, and that one is stuffed on the play by Amari Spellman, Thunder and Mavs are the two teams use You fall? Okay in a reminder the Boston Celtics taking on the L A Clippers that's coming up at 10 Eastern time.
Paul George getting prepared for that one wearing an ugly outfit.
It will be the first time in the season that Paul, George and Kawai Leonard will be playing together.
As you all know, I am a huge Celtics fan.
I would want 100% be commentating that game if it weren't so late.
But I do have school tomorrow, so off to get to bed before that one gets underway.
So that's why I'm doing this game instead.
But, hey, it's at least something now.
This will be dished out, and that will be a travelling violation on Jalen Bronson.
He called himself there, in between a pass in the shot, trying to get his dribble down in time, but could not.
A timeout on the floor, 6 54 to go in.
Quarter number one.
The Mavericks taking apart the Golden State Warriors here as we head back to the Rangers and Capitals, who are currently in a commercial break.
So I'll step aside for a moment and be back in a few minutes for more action here on SportsCastr in the NHL in MBA.
Stay tuned, everybody.
I will be right back in a moment.
Actually, we're back right now from a commercial break.
How about that? So I'll stay right here.
9 56 to go in the first period.
Nothing between the Rangers and Capitals.
David Quinn is the Rangers head coach.
The Rangers have lost three of the last four games, definitely in a rebuilding stage right now, you know, it's it's gonna be a rough season for them, as we're already seeing over a month in.
But you know, all teams go through it at one point, and you know, that's just that's just the type of this type of season where they're rebuilding, trying, trying to get something going for the upcoming years, using those draft picks, you know, because they have some good young players.
They really do like D'Angelo.
Like Fox, the Capitals now have it at the boards.
Thanks Avery for joining the broadcast.
What is going on. I am back here.
Oh, and a referee is down.
This looks serious.
A referee is down and quite a bit of pain.
Is that Yes, I am ready for my Celtics tonight.
I'm excited for the game and the referee is bleeding here.
Yeah, it will be a great game.
First time in the season that, um, Kawai and Paul George are playing together and the referee now being he's all right, look to be seriously, I would 100% be commentating the Celtics clippersgame Avery if it weren't so late.
But since it's at 10 o'clock and I have school tomorrow, you know, I I can't, so Oh, well, but the puck hit the referee in the mouth.
It seemed like so he is now up still bleeding a little bit as he gets a ah round of applause from the crowd as he skates his way off.
Thanks, leann, for joining the broadcasts.
I appreciate that.
So it looks like the referee is going to stay in there just trying to take care of that blood, get some getting some medical attention here with 9 22 to go in the first period.
His name is Firmin South, tonight's referee, who was shaken up here after taking a shot to the face with the from the puck.
Be good for you.
Thanks so much everyone for joining me tonight on the stream here on SportsCastr.
Tomorrow, I'll be on for Thursday Night Football.
It should be a good one as well.
So make sure you tune into that Friday.
I'll be on for Celtics, Um, and Nuggets out in Denver as the Celtics finally ends there.
What seems like a never ending West Coast trip? They've been out there for quite a while now was five games out west.
Tonight will be their 4th 1 before wrapping it up against Denver.
So firm and South looks to be good to go, as Stevenson has now kicked out of the face off here in the Washington zone.
Meanwhile, the Capitals win the faceoff around the net, it goes, and this will be a shot in on goal from the Rangers, but a save made by braiding, hoping no problem there, and he'll hold on to it with the gloves and he never saw.
More what what So the face off here sent all the way down the shots on goal in favor.
Branko, I want to say, by Henrik Lundquist.
Qu'est made the diving save on a breakaway opportunity for the Washington Capitals.
Wow, what a chance there.
But one quest had other ideas.
Wow, What a play right there.
Now the Capitals have it.
It's played out wide with Carlson.
Carlson sends one in that goes wide, and now this one is fed back around by Washington.
The Rangers takeover in possession here.
Thanks for the popcorn Lee, and I appreciate that a lot.
I'm a little disorganized.
Night hero scores around the league or one score around the league.
There's only one other game going on on the one. Montreal.
Nothing in that one in the first period Wednesday night, usually not a common night for NHL games.
It's usually Tuesday, 30 Thursday, Saturday.
Those are the most common days.
Just like NBA's most common days are Wednesday, Friday, Monday.
Sort of, you know, it's not always the case, but they do put the primetime games on on the other days, where those usually the pretty much the only games going on.
So there's only two NHL games going on tonight.
This is one of them. What a save by Lundquist.
Little while ago.
I mean, what a play, right? Its body.
What mother? Beautiful right.
Beautiful right pad save.
So 7 53 left here in the first period between the Rangers and Capitals.
Face off one here by the Capitals.
One caused, by the way, has four career shut outs against the, um Capitals in his career.
So he's had good success against Washington.
Tryingto prove it again tonight.
Now here's the shot from the side.
They're an opportunity there for he tal.
But that one wide in a big hit out neutral zone.
My goodness! So now it's taken behind the net.
Chris Kreider plays it out off the boards.
Now it's played across shot sent in and it's a save by hoping.
And that puck my thing, found its way up to the protective netting Some off.
7 13 to go in the period.
Wow! What a big hit that Waas Wow! True by nodding anticipating the hit, but he took a big one.
You always got to be aware out on that ice and another shot this time again from the left wing.
It saved by hoping so another face off to take place.
I think like two seconds ticked off the clock there, and that was all.
Capitals have it behind their own goal.
Pressure being put on here by the Rangers.
Now it's taken away and Kemp me trying to get it up, but Jensen loses it.
Wilson, with a team high 79 hits the season.
This puck goes off the boards, the Rangers still with it, and this one sent in on goal.
But no problem for Braid and Hopi, the shot coming in from Capo Kokko and this one will now go all the way back for icing.
So my face off to take place in the Washingtons, Washington's own here.
Ovechkin out there right now for the capital's.
Meanwhile, taking a little break for the Rangers is Ryan, lingering 6 38 to go in the first period at Madison Square Garden, Washington, with double the amount of faceoffs 18 to 4 in that category.
Shots on goal, seven apiece.
Now this one sent in the rebound goes wide right of the goal and now up against the boards and the capital's almost want it back.
But the Rangers still have it in the zone.
This one zipped around the boards.
Wilson bumps into a Ranger and wins it, but this one will go off the boards all the way back for icing again.
Fed quite a bit of icings here in this first period, and there's another 1601 left in the period.
Michael Michael Scar Bosa has made an impact for the, UH, minor league team for the Capitals in Hershey and the H L 17.
Game seven Gold, seven assists.
This is his first game with the Capitals, and those stats show you why he is coming up to the NHL for the first time tonight because he deserves it.
I mean, putting up those numbers with her, she and the HL, he really deserves his chance.
And that was going to say I don't remember him.
A chance there the save made by the pad of braided Hopi Rangers.
Still with that, they've been the better team here for since that last commercial break.
But this has taken over by Wilson.
Here come the capital's the shot, a save Lundquist, the shot in on goal there by the Capitals and by John Carlson.
And that will take us to a commercial break up and down action here on Wednesday night. Hockey.
It's the Capitals and the Rangers taking each other on Still nothing.
Nothing as we head back to the Mavericks Warriors.
Milko, It is at the line.
Luca Don Church, 59 to 28.
The Mavericks lead it.
I should just stop doing this game.
Shouldn't put a mercy rule in here.
The first free throw made for 25 left in the first half.
Yeah, and here comes the second free throw NB Wednesday doubleheader.
Of course, the Clippers Celtics coming up.
I wish I could stay up for that one and commentated for you, but I cannot.
Unfortunately, I have school tomorrow, but I'll definitely record that one and catch it in the morning if I have time.
There's a risk of missing the bus, but hey, so this will be dished out driving to the paint and a nice past there.
But the shot No good.
It was nice distribution from the Warriors But here come the Mavericks the other way.
Nice pass and Dodge, which puts it off the glass and end for the bucket.
63 28 Mavericks and lead.
Wow! What? What a performance here from not just Lucas on church, but the whole Mavericks team, Really? But Don Church in particular.
26 points, eight for nine from the field, five for six from three.
And now Chris will put it up marquees Chris with the bucket and the Warriors down by 23 bringing it up here for the Los Angeles for the Dallas Mavericks. My apologies.
I'm looking ahead to tonight.
Celtics Clippers Game is daunted.
She got the shot off in time.
Any at the three.
Are you kidding me? Look, a dodgy banking shots left and right from however deep you wanted.
I wouldn't be surprised if you made a full court shot.
At this point, he's up to 29.
6 for seven from behind the arc.
He makes it look easy out there.
Meanwhile, a foul called and the Warriors will go to the line.
A dawn church doing everything.
Look at how smooth that three point shot is made.
And what can you do? Defending that, Jaime? Not much.
The 76 years I was losing to the Knicks.
Luca Don Church already, as I mentioned with 29 points, that's a career high in any half for him.
We thought 42 points was truly remarkable, which it is the other the other night on Monday, but he's on pace.
Thio easily surpassed 42.
He's looking for the half century mark.
At least 75 to 60.
Well, yeah, ripped the Warriors.
Yeah, it's too bad for them.
The the dynasty is over.
It's safe to say that's a brick, meanwhile, from Dallas, but it does go off of the Warriors.
So ah, break from Tim Hardaway.
But then you get the ball back.
Since it did not hit the rim.
There are three seconds, 3.
6 seconds to go on the shot clock.
This one will be inbounded from behind the hoop or from underneath the basket.
I should say a lot, not the good one from John Church, but we'll give him a break on that woman is he's done everything right, Willie Cauley Stein gets it up and the layup No good from our keys.
Chris and Awkward shot Kristaps Porzingis comes out with it, plays it up to Tim Hardaway Jr.
Hardaway had it poked out, and here come the Warriors the other way.
Now it's dished off and the shot No good from Chris marquees.
Struggling out there with the past was Alec Burkes.
But here comes Kristaps pores that you know.
My apologies, Luca.
John should bring it up once again for the Mavericks over the Tim Hardaway art away.
Back to dawn church. Dawn.
A beautiful pass.
The shot is up, but it's no good, but a foul is called.
You could tell right there that looking for the fell that.
Excuse me, Dwight Powell was looking for the foul and he gets the call.
He'll shoot, too.
It was a great pass from Lucca Dawn Church.
He's a great distributor as well.
I mean, he did a great job.
There will be better next year when clay and career back.
Yeah, yeah, they'll be back better next year, for sure.
Yeah, in a time outs now called 1 56 to go in the first half.
It's all Dallas here on SportsCastr, as we now head back to the Capitals Rangers with 3 56 to go in the first period that when a slap shot is blocked.
Still nothing, nothing in this one.
Yeah, they'll be better next year for sure, every three.
But you know, it's, um yeah, then be a so interesting this season because like all the teams are different, it's new.
Look, teams all across the shot in a safe by Lundquist.
He somehow kept that one from going over the line.
The capital's probably thought they had the first goal of the game, but Lundquist coming up big tonight, Alex Ovechkin still can't believe it.
Wow, What a save by Henrik Lundquist.
Well, it took a funny bounces.
Well, meanwhile, on the other end, Stevenson took one right to the side.
That one stings.
He blocked a shot, but I think he's all right.
I didn't catch if he got up or not, but yeah, apparently he did season the face off here.
So Stevenson is good to go after taking that a slap shot right to the side, and now another slap shot from or lobbies wide of the goal Carlson sends into the middle.
It's chipped on across to the far side.
Now it's moved right back in the middle.
A slap shot hits the post.
What an opportunity there for John Carlson and you ring the post.
You can still hear that right now.
3 10 to go in the first period.
And that puck went off the post into the protective netting.
What a Ripper, their first from Dmitry Orlov and then from John Carlson.
Great opportunities here.
Building up for the Capitol's just can't quite find that first goal quite yet.
And another shot here from the capital's is they won the faceoff.
That one went just wide of the goal.
And now the Rangers finally have possession with it.
Is our Tenney Panera, who plays with across mid ice.
Now this will be sent into the near side corner.
This one has sent back off the boards.
Rangers keeping in the zone, though now a centering pass.
But it couldn't quite be, uh, make excuse me in front of gold.
There it was a misfire, and to mark stall couldn't quite make contact with the puck.
Now, with it behind the goal for the New York Rangers is Tony D'Angelo, a really talented player for this Rangers team, this one sent into 20 to go in this first period.
Here are the Washington Capitals This one sent down the boards, and this one's now back to Jensen Jensen down the boards.
Rangers takeover in possession once again and I spend around move their New York gets it up.
Tied nine apiece for each dean.
This one's rattled around the boards.
Now this one played in front.
The shot goes line.
What a chance! There the Capitals now with it behind the goal.
Jensen sends it all the way up.
Now lobbing it into the board's behind Lundquist there for the New York Rangers.
WAAS, I believe, has a way.
Sorry, I'm very disorganized.
Night. Here's T J Oshie the shot.
Oh, it's off the Baja one.
Opportunity for T.
J Oshie now, eh? Chance here for the Capitals and we're under a minute to go here in period number one on a Wednesday night hockey between the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers.
Thanks so much everyone for joining me tonight.
Now this one directed back in the shot attempts, though 20 the 13 in favor of Washington and spend an entertaining first period really.
Chances for both teams won a big headed.
We have a delayed penalty coming up.
And now the capital's touch the buck and the penalty is enforced.
Now Tom Wilson trying to get into it here before he heads to the box, getting some final words in before he heads to the box.
Yeah, dangerous hit there on hike and the Rangers will head to the power play here, a great opportunity for the Rangers to get on the board here.
33 seconds left in the first period.
Boarding called on Wilson and the Rangers power play we'll carry over into the second period.
Unless, of course, they were together Goal in these final seconds of the first half.
So the Rangers win the faceoff.
That's huge for them to start.
This one's play the cross.
Now back to our tent, even Aaron.
But it gets by put Aaron.
He's now in a race here, and the other boards in its one by the Capitals here is Alex Ovechkin, now in the neutral zone.
This will be sent all the way in on Golan.
Quest made The save lets it go two seconds left in the period, and that will run out this clock.
A shot from behind center ice is padded off by brain and hoping, and that takes us to the end of the first period, one period down.
Nothing, nothing. The score.
Also, how about big news in the NHL? Mike Bab**** fired in Toronto.
Also, the Blues having a lot of injuries, and also the senator is taken on the Canadians.
I will get you updated on that one out in Montreal, up in Canada.
Meanwhile, this one end of the first period Washington Nothing.
New York, He Mike Bab**** firing.
Which has come to the surprise of many.
And that's big, big NHL news.
As we now head back to the Mavericks Warriors, it's 74 to 35.
My goodness, the national nationally televised game is an absolute blowout here.
7 seconds left on the half.
So both teams will be at an intermission here shortly, the first free throw made here by Golden State.
Let's check in on how many points taunted jazz since we left, probably added on five or five or more while we were over at Washington and New York.
Now the jumper is made by Golden State and offensive rebound.
That's at least a pause of notes of the half, but not many positives to take out of that first half.
If you're Golden State, the score at half time.
You heard me right.
74 Golden State 38.
Look at the launch.
It's dropping dimes left and right, having the best half of his career.
Let's see if you can just continue it.
Continue rolling on in the second half, cause if he die King night, I'll be back for more.
After this, I'll get you caught up on all the action between the Rangers and Capitals in the NHL and the Warriors.
Mavericks in the N B A. Stay tuned, everybody.
I'll be right back.
All right, Welcome back here to the Stream.
The Golden State Warriors taken on the Dallas Mavericks as well as the Washington Capitals, taking on the New York Rangers here on SportsCastr and in the Capitals Rangers game.
It's nothing, nothing at the first intermission, but how about big NHL news? The Maple Leafs has fired their head coach, Mike Bab****, and my oh my, That's huge news in the National Hockey League today, and, you know, wow, I I don't really know what else to say.
It's huge news, you know? It's not the best of starts to the season for them, but I think that may believe they can.
They can still makeup possible, run in the playoffs, No doubt about it.
Um, I think they're trying to make a change sooner rather than later.
Mike Bab****, with the really good teams in all five of those years that he was in Toronto but never was able to get past the first round.
You know, ultimately, that definitely had a had an impact on the eventual firing.
I do believe such huge NHL news today around the league on this.
When? When that news came out during the afternoon.
Now it's Wednesday night.
Yeah, you can't believe it as well. Yeah, I know.
When I saw that I was, I was surprised.
Honestly, like, you know, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
I I need to take a start to the season for them.
I kind of like, kind of like how surprised Avery that Mauricio Pacino got fired at Tottenham, and then they hired Josie Marino about 12 hours later.
I don't know if you I know you follow the Premier League, Avery, and I'm not sure if you heard about all of that news.
That was pretty incredible as well.
Of course, in the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs in the Eastern Conference first round Game seven, the Maple leaves fell to the Bruins.
I will kindly remind you of that.
All of you tuning in players, but yes, 03 straight first round playoff exits with Toronto.
There you have it.
That's really that really explains it all.
So the May please.
Right now, Yeah.
They are off to a really a really rough start.
I didn't realize that.
So, yeah, All of those factors come into its firing still early in the season, though, So that's kind of how that kind of is what makes it.
Ah, hard to believe he was fired during the fifth season of his eight year, $50 million contract.
So you know it's a big decision from the Maple Leafs will see if it pays off.
We'll see if they can turn around this season right around uneven record.
That's probably why they made the decision early on in the season.
So they have time to turn around because a lot of times you see franchises wait too long.
Well, see, it's it's it's a risk, but it could be rewarding.
It's it's a gamble.
We'll see what the end result is.
Your brother actually knows basketball.
And also, there's been bad news for the Blues as the injuries keep on piling up for them.
It's really affecting their starts of the season.
They started out really well, but injuries definitely playing a factor in these last couple of games.
Meanwhile, back over in the n B A.
The Los Angeles Clippers taken on the Boston Celtics later on tonight.
I am so excited for that game.
You see me rep in my Celtics, jersey or shirt, but that's coming up at 10 Eastern time.
He keeps telling you that Luca will be in the n b P. Contradiction.
There you go and I will be back in a moment.
That commercial breaks one of the first intermission, the other in half time.
I'll be back for more in a moment.
Stay tuned here on SportsCastr.
Welcome back to the broadcast, everybody.
First intermission between the Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers.
They're tied at 00 Thanks so much, Michael, for joining the broadcast.
What is going on? I hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday night and I appreciate you coming into the stream.
Also other NHL news The N h L p.
A has filed a grievance challenging Dustin Ah Buffon's suspension.
So that's some other league news elsewhere.
So that will be interesting to see what they decide in that one, cause I forget how long he was suspended.
But it was, you know, it was a dirty hit elbow right to the face about, But, um, we'll see if that that grievance challenging the suspension will be overturned.
What's going on, Grant? Welcome into the broadcast, my man.
Hope you're having a good night, Grant.
I appreciate you stopping by here on the stream, doing both NHL and MBA action here.
I would have done Celtics Clippers, but of course it's at 10 o'clock out on the West Coast so I couldn't do so.
What's up, Ryan? Welcome And everyone's pop it in here on SportsCastr.
I greatly appreciated everybody.
We're currently at the first intermission between the Capitals and Rangers in at halftime of the Warriors Mavericks, and you see the score right here of the Warriors Mavericks.
70 4 to 38 at the half.
The Mavericks dominated from the beginning, and, yeah, I I really wanted to do Clipper Celtics.
But the game's at 10 and I have school tomorrow so I can't do it.
Unfortunately, that's a bummer.
Kyrie, Kyrie Kawai and Paul George playing together for the first time this season tonight.
By the way, it should be a good challenge for the Celtics.
I was looking forward to it, but or I am looking forward to it.
Well, I'll have to miss it.
I'll record it. Catch it in the morning.
Also other news in the NHL Blues forward Sami blazes out at least 10 weeks.
He'll have surgery on his right wrist.
The injury's definitely piling up for the Blues.
Why don't I just stay up? I'm I'm not really allowed to Ryan.
My parents make me go to bed so I'm not allowed to stay a plus side.
I need to get enough sleep or else I'd be miserable at school.
No, no, I want to stay up.
But thanks for the thumbs up.
Right. I appreciate that.
I would like to stay up, but my parents make me go to bed at, like, 10.
Unless the Patriots they're playing.
But even that ends that, like 11 15 if they're playing in prime time, not 12.
30 like the Celtics game will end that.
But yes, so we're at intermission, just kind of hanging out here.
I appreciate all of you coming into the stream.
Let's go back to the Mavericks Warriors and see what they have going on Us.
Went on a rant about how NASCAR is the easiest for to commentate.
Well, I need to check that out then.
Oh, both games are currently in the commercial break.
I will step aside for a moment.
Get something to drink and thank you, cowboy X factor for joining the broadcast go Patriots this weekend, cowboy X factor.
That doesn't kick you off the stream.
But, um, I appreciate you coming by hands? It's been a rough night for you on the Caps and Rangers game.
Yeah, I I didn't have time to, uh, right.
The roster's down and I printed them out.
But my printer is not working, right, so I could barely read the numbers, so Oh, well, I'll be right back, everybody.
I was gonna get something to drink.
Stay right here.
We got second half action in second period action coming up for you here in the NHL in MBA.
All right, MBA action here started the third quarter. Your score.
The Dallas Mavericks 74.
The Golden State Warriors 38.
Here's some first half stats for you and my goodness.
Ready for this, everybody? Golden State had a total of 38 points in the first half.
Luca Dawn Church had a total of 33 just five points less than the whole Golden State team.
John ****s 10 for 11 from the field.
And my goodness, he is on fire.
Had 42 points on Monday.
He's going to surpass that tonight.
No doubt about it.
You're starting to think that there are bots on this app.
I I I am starting to think that is, well writing.
I'm starting to think that as well.
Just the first half, absolutely dominating in all assets of the game, making plays on defense of playmakers, some no look passes and, of course, putting 33 points on the board as well.
That's no big deal, he said, in shots from way out beyond the three point line as well, making it look routine.
It's been incredible.
Really? Yes, yeah, something.
People do seem that big accounts and never stream.
It really does feel like bots like, I feel like 80% of the people with accounts here on SportsCastr don't stream.
I don't know if it's if it's just me, her.
I feel like that's the truth.
All right, ready for this? The last 48 minutes play.
Luka Dawn Church has 70.
70 I mean, that's unbelievable.
That is unbelievable.
70 points in the last pretty much game with the combining the second half of the last game in the first half of this one. That's unbelievable.
Yeah, I know Mike Bab**** was fired.
I like how it bleeps out the end of his name and Golden State struggling.
They're scoring leaders passed out with 10 points.
Meanwhile, Dawn Church with 33 is the leader for the Mavericks driving in the paint here and the buckets made by Finney Smith.
He has a chance for the end one.
Yeah, that's funny, but yeah, I know.
That's big NHL news that he was fired.
I know you can feel the same way.
Sam Lee at times, Grant.
Yeah, I know it's weird, but whatever.
I don't know how.
It's only Wednesday.
I mean, dude, this week has been so long and I got a test tomorrow.
And then another test Friday.
I had one today.
Yeah, the broadcasting camp is really fun. Ryan.
Yeah. Grant was my roommate.
Um, here on here on Sports Caster right now on the stream.
We had a good time, Grant, didn't we? Yeah, that it was really fun.
Ryan, you should definitely consider going next year.
I understand that it's really expensive, but it was worth it.
I thought Yeah, it was It was a blast.
Like the overnight I know it was like twice as expensive, but it was It was like it was so worth The overnight experience made it all the much better.
And, uh, what the heck was that game called? I'm already rug burn ball.
That was fun, too.
What do you do? You learn like everything about sports broadcasting, Ryan, and practice everything you can think of.
Like your own sports talk show breaking news segments.
Play by play, sideline reporting.
Um, like your own p t I.
It's pretty awesome.
It's like everything.
Yeah, yeah, it's really fun.
And then we got to go to Fenway Park as well.
Thio, stand up, Report front.
Live from Fenway Park with the field in the background.
Yeah, so you do a lot and it's a lot of fun.
It's a lot of fun.
And I learned a lot honestly from that to a lot of kids.
Yeah, they were, like, 120 something at the Boston camp last year, I think.
Yeah, there were a lot of kids.
That was the most they've had ever at Boston.
Yeah, there were a lot of people.
There was fun. Ky Bowman from three.
And Oh, yeah, yeah, it's crazy.
And Ryan, they have guest speakers.
We had Sean Grandi, the Celtics commentator Bob Soc for the Patriots, Judd, Surat for the Bruins and a former camper.
I feel so bad I forget his name. Mori Hearst.
Gordon was his name.
He was a former camper at the Boston play by play Ah, sports broadcasting camp, and he's now an anchor for not an anchor.
But he's Ah, he's does sports reporting for the local CBS channel at ah in Providence.
So that's pretty awesome.
Ah, play by play camper Who's succeeding, Um, in the in the real world, in broadcasting.
And then also Cheon to Davis, who was on the Patriots.
I have no idea if he's even on the team anymore, but we got to, ah, have, like, a mock press conference with him like a fake one, but it was pretty cool.
We got to ask him questions.
He came in and we got to ask him any questions we wanted.
And, yeah, the guest speakers like John Suraj, Sean Grandee and Bob Soc coming and that was that was really, really fun, and they, like, told their background stories and stuff.
We got pictures with them.
It was really cool experience.
Dallas leader Chi Bowman, mid range shot from the corner. And it's good.
Well, yeah, I definitely suggested the price is crazy, but, like it's worth it.
Well, I'm gonna look up where Chianti Davis is right now, because I'm sure Grant you'd be in gonna Grant left for a little while.
I'm sure he'd be interested as well.
All right. It says he's still with the Patriots.
He's not ever on the roster, so I'm not really sure what's going on with him lately.
Oh, use placed on I r.
Yeah, He's been on the i r all season.
Okay, That's what that explains it.
Yeah, Help me along, Ryan. It really did.
I learned so much from that.
And, you know, they make it like a riel.
Like it's like real life.
Like a real sports show.
They have green screen in the back, tons of cameras.
You practice anchoring as well.
Um, yeah, it helped me aton like that was huge for me.
I I learned a lot out of it, and I definitely suggested now go into the paint.
The shot is up in a foul is called.
Alec Burkes will shoot two at the line, and the first free throw is good.
This is an absolute blowout.
I wasn't expecting it to be this much of a blood.
We'll head back to the Capitals Rangers, which should, uh, that's second period.
Action should be underway.
Second free throw made a 12 to go in the quarter.
Now Dawn church fires to Finney.
Smith out the heart away, and he's fouled on the shot and he'll shoot three.
Hardaway got bumped there from the corner, so he'll now shoot two at the line for the Dallas Mavericks four minutes into the second half.
Celtics Clippers coming up after this one.
So here comes the two shots.
The 1st 1 is made a reminder of the upcoming N B A schedule.
Portland taking on Milwaukee at 8 p.m.
Eastern time in at 10:30 p.m.
The New Orleans Pelicans will face the Phoenix Suns tomorrow.
I'll be on for Texans.
That should be an entertaining Thursday night game.
I will say I'm looking forward to that one so I'll be on for that 86 to 47.
Now the Warriors bring it up the court.
Here's Willy Cauley, Stein, Kali Stein to the paint.
It's off the backboard and end.
Nice job, thereby Kali Stein to get that one to go.
It's and here's a wild shot that is no good by dawn church, but it is off of the Warriors, so the Mavericks will have the ball once again here, and it will be inbounded from underneath the hoop dished out.
Here's Luca Don Church.
Can he, uh, continue on here and have a magical second half? He shoots a 30 it's no good.
Wow, I've been used to seeing every one of those go, and it's surprising when he misses for the on Lee the second time from three he's missed.
Tonight, this will be dished out three point shot and it's no good.
They're coming deep from Eric Pascal now the Mavericks with the rebound.
Here they come, Hardaway passes it over.
Now the shot and it's good.
A nice deep, too.
They're made on the play by Justin Jackson and now a foul will be called on Dawn Church and it's on the floor in a timeout called 80 eights of 49 the Mavericks leading the Warriors, 6 36 to go in the third and absolute blowout on MBA Wednesday here on SportsCastr.
So we will make our way back to the Capitals and Rangers, where they have 40 minutes ago, all the Rangers took the lead while we were over at the Mavericks and Warriors.
How about that? We missed the goal, unfortunately, but the Rangers in the lead over the capital's wow, a big open ice hit as well, and Wilson just absolutely taking down Brent Holden to the ice.
Ah, big hit there.
It's been physical so far in this game.
It's what you like to see on Wednesday night Hockey.
The hits 16 to 9 in favor of the Washington Capitals.
14 minutes left.
The Capitals with around center ice.
Rangers regain possession now high ex pass intercepted, but it's taken right back by the New York Rangers and center ice by Chris Kreider.
Crider drops it off.
No, not a bad look.
This one will make its way around the boards.
Hoping is there.
The net was open for a second, sending in across goal, but the Capitals were prepared now.
Oh, that one's taken away by the Washington Capitals.
Big defensive effort there.
And here come the capital's the other way a shot.
And that is, Why did the goal the rebound there for the taking off the boards and there will be a penalty coming up.
So the call is a trip here, and it will go against the Rangers.
Greg McCaig will be the one going to the box.
That's a nice rhyming name.
Just like Capo Kokko.
New York leader 12 58 to go in the period.
Power play coming up for the Capitals.
That could be big for them.
Now back to the M E.
There at a commercial breaks.
I'll step aside for a second and be back for more here on SportsCastr.
Stay right here.
Well, how about this? An MBA history for players 20 or younger, Daunted Breaking all kinds records.
5 points per game.
That's the most all time.
3 assists per game.
That's the most all time 10.
7 rebounds per game.
That's fourth all time behind the likes of Shaquille O'Neal and, uh, what's his name? Duh Andre Drummond.
So now a foul called 88 49 the Mavericks tearing apart the Golden State Warriors here. Your background.
I appreciate it.
Yeah, I was While you were gone. I was.
I looked up where? Cheon to how keel into Davis's doing cause I have in a heard about him all season along with the Patriots, and it's because he's been on injured reserve all season long, Unfortunately, because I was thinking that was pretty cool when we got to meet him at camp.
But I was like, I haven't heard his name mentioned once.
So what's going on with him? And I looked it up.
He's been on injured reserve all season long.
Yeah, it is too bad because I didn't know if he was let go, and it was with another team or something.
Free throws coming up here for the Warriors.
The first free throws, no good at the line.
Golden State is Alec Berks and absolute blowout here on Wednesday night on NBC Wednesday.
I should say the jacks could use them.
Yeah, they could.
They could use them and the second free throws made as well.
So a 38 point game and absolute blowout in this one dawn church dishes it out.
Three point from the corner and it's drain there.
Smith hits the three and 91 to 50.
Wow! Still, only halfway through the third quarter, folks, this could get way worse within his.
Robinson has taken away. Nice deal by dawn Church.
Check all the way up and gets it in the finger.
Roll into the bucket.
Warriors throw up without Curry.
Yeah, they do without Clay Thompson as well.
And D'Angelo Russell.
Yeah, I know they really.
D'oh! Willie Cauley Stein shot a couple times off the rim.
Spend that type of night for Golden State.
Just support Zynga's back to Luca.
Don Church now pours and gets going.
One on one with Kali Stein underneath the hoop gets it off the glass.
It's no good. He was coming for a foul.
Nothing was called.
Here come the workers on the fastbreak Jordan pool.
The Michigan product dishes it out, and now a fail a shot from Pascal's no good and look who it is Luca Dawn Church With the rebound, he's all over the court making plays for the Mavericks.
Now a three pointer that's an air ball from dawn church.
That's a rare scene.
And here comes Golden State Warriors to the paint, the reverse layup from pool.
And now it's up with Kristaps Porzingis, this shell and off the glass and in there in a nice bucket made on the play that time but Justin Jackson?
