O's Rock Your prints make us here by tonight.
Go tigers Coach.
It's great to see you, as I say each and every week.
Congrats on the win last week.
Plenty of work left to do.
Starting this weekend against Arkansas.
We'll get to that a little later on, but you got 10 games so far and 10 victories, including another road win in the SEC last Saturday.
REpower our football team, especially the offensive explosion.
I think offices clicking on all cylinders right now.
Get a little work to do defensively, but very probably went, you know, I think many people wondered after that physical and emotional game.
And I know you talked about it last week on this show.
The previous game against Alabama.
How would L s U come out against Ole Miss on the road? Coach, I got to tell you, there was no doubt very early on that you and the staff had him ready to go.
And you unleashed the Tigers in about 605 last Saturday.
You we knew it was gonna be a challenge We do was get their best effort.
I was very pleased with the performance of the whole football team in the first half.
There was no hangover from Alabama.
It shows maturity and leadership from my football team.
You know, several times on this show this year we talked about how well your organization I mean, everybody from the top down travels and, you know, they work very hard to make it a situation in hotel ballrooms and conference rooms to make it as similar as possible for a home game.
And you know, now that we've had five road games under your belt, we always talk about trying to be perfect in the aspiration to be perfect.
you know, how do you think your guys have done now that you've got those five road games under your about aboutthe way, they travel in moving forward this year? You got to give credit to Sam, made Jeff drinking stare apart.
Does guys handle all the travel plans? Everything has been sharp.
We've always early.
We have great food on the road.
We have great hotels to selling and we tell our guys it's a business trip we put around.
Suits will get on that plane, and the logic of getting on the plane is to win the football game, and we've done it.
I'm so proud of our football team.
How much do you guys balance when you go on the road again and getting some rest, but also keeping them focus based on meetings, film session and walk throughs? We keep a busy We really.
When we get to the hotel, we have supper together.
When special teams meeting, We have offense, defense meeting.
We have team meetings.
I like video, how coaches having, but now we're recording meeting from 9 to 10.
They check out players at the curfew at 10 o'clock and they used to get to sleep tomorrow.
Nine o'clock the next morning.
We have meetings.
We have walked through. Difficult A stadium.
All right, let's go to the phone lines again If you're out there tonight, the hotline is open in Baton Rouge.
225578 42 7 If you're listening anywhere in the US tonight, want to talk to Coach? Oh, it's easy to do.
1 803 158 to 55 Will goto Princey.
She lined up first here on this Wednesday night.
Prince, you're on Macoco.
Hey, principal say, Fritzi, I have been proud of you my entire life.
Okay? And I'm proud of the job that no did that we did up there.
That school up north.
We gotta dug it and they got your ass work.
I will tell you something in and everybody's gonna go.
What did the war was she talking about? You know what we love about it all, Control, Arkansas.
I'll gave us our kill. Leo.
Ugo, I know you have a boy.
You also occupy always that ugly, ugly, affraid photo.
So when they come in our stadium third night you know the drill.
We don't walk out of there and let me know, and we just keep on Marquis, known to the championship.
We love you all.
And thank you, Principal Love you All right, Pretty fired up here on this week.
Let's get back to the final.
That's Ricky calling from Birmingham.
I think Coach Ricky wants to talk about defense is in general based on the way offenses have changed in college football.
But I let Ricky asked a question.
Ricky, you're on with Coco.
Flush it, and the next victim can step up to the plant coach years ago.
You know, nobody could figure out how to stop the wishbone, but eventually they did.
And now spread run, pass, option.
That's the rage.
You think that recruiting needs, they're gonna change.
And instead of getting a traditional line back 65 to 15 from like that, you'd get like a bulky safety.
And that's the future as the high to stop.
But thanks and go talk to him.
There's no question about that.
You have to recruit drain athletes on defense.
It can make tackles in space, defending to spread offenses like basketball on grass is one on one.
The whole time with you.
Miss a tackle. Use this. A big player. Touchdown.
Thank you, Ricky, for the call before we go to our next break.
Let's head to Lake.
Charles Chan is on the line.
Chad, You're only coach.
Oh, go, Coach, uh, going the weekend.
All right, Chad.
Thank you. All right.
Hey, nothing wrong with being short into the point.
Thank you for the call.
We're gonna take a break coming up.
We're gonna discuss the game last week in the win over Ole Miss.
Later, we'll get a scatter report from Cocoa on the Arkansas Raiders Razorbacks.
We're live from TJ ribs, of course.

Updates on to get my score.
Okay, score updates.
This is from covers dot com.
I will give you a score update here and now.
Okay. Score update.
Philadelphia had 53.
That's in the That's at the halftime period.
Also, it is, um um, San Antonio had 69 63.
Um, that's in the game's going on.
Also, um, tied up a 26 between Charlotte in Brooklyn, and also I would see Miami.
That's in the second quarter.
Also, um, Toronto ahead.
Hold on Toronto.
Let's knock this down.
Tryingto is ahead 41 34.
Also, it is, um, let's see.
Milwaukee had 34 26.
Also, it is, um, Dallas had 42 16.
That's in the first.
I'm going into the end of the first quarter.
That's end of the first quarter.
Also, Minnesota had 54 Chicago versus Detroit.
Right now it's eight to Chicago on top, a two out of games going on later on this evening.
Um, Denver versus Houston at, um, Boston versus the L A.
Clippers at 9 10 o'clock tonight.
So that is your score updates? Um, uh, if you could see it, let me know.
I know it's a little blurry on, um, seeing it on the screen, A notable glory, But just please bear with us.
I know it's it's it's the app.
Once again, let's go back to the L S u coaches show Presented by the L s u sports radio network from WWL 5.
3 Ford F Series has been the best selling truck in America.
How does Ford pull off that championship run? With rock solid durability up to the nanosecond Technology and Shaw dropping capability drive the Ford F 1 50 of your Southern quality for dealer today.
Proud Parker of L Suf Lettuce roots down Gold ago.
Ty Davis Price off the left side into the end zone.
Touchdown Tigers fourth rushing touchdown of the season for the freshmen and the Tigers extend their lead 13 to nothing with a minute.
22 to go here in the first quarter.
Your calls for the cold **** to 25578 40 27 in the Baton Rouge area, or 1 803 15 80 to 55 from anywhere in the country and live via Twitter and L s radio.
This is show presented by Ford's radio network Tiger fans here in the House that TJ ribs on this Wednesday night, as they are each and every week as we continue to visit with Coco here on the road, you're on show, presented by Han****, Whitney and Coach talking about last week's when 58 37.
I know that you told Gordy Rush before the game.
You mentioned it.
You wanted a fast start for your team.
You get the opening kickoff.
Four completions, 15 yards on two runs from Clyde and the Tigers were up seven to nothing in two minutes and four seconds.
The question I have for is we've seen the passing game.
It has been stellar all season long.
The running game certainly has been an emphasis here over the last 345 weeks, and it's also improved.
How important was it for you to get the past and the run and keep utilizing both of them as you move forward this year.
Yeah, well, we wanted to start faster their stadium take the first.
They give us the bolt if we want to talk.
We were gonna take the ball way.
We're all guessing if you would like to take the ball, go down their score.
So they gave it to us and we went out to have scored.
I think when you look at the play of all offense, you have to talk about the job.
James Corrigan Offensive. Logical.
And the playoff offensive.
We went into that game with two offensive tackles that were reserved tackles and it in a phenomenal job.
We have to get the credit for offensive line.
Yeah, you know, that leads me to my next point, which was 714 yards of offense, second most in school history, most ever against an SEC opponent for 89 through the air to 25 on the ground.
And, as you mentioned, you go into that game on the tackle position.
Adrienne McGee Matar a tray aura anchoring those tackles, and they stood out on Saturday night along with Lord Cushion, Bury the rest of the guys.
But the fact that those guys were able to go in there and play as well as they did and be able to allow your skill players have the success means a lot.
Thanks a lot of football team.
We have saved the next man up way, 11 men on the field and we fight like tigers.
Those guys were ready.
They felt accountable to the teammates and I thought they did a phenomenal job.
You know, I was listening to some of the players this week coach during the media sessions, and most all of them were talking about the Brotherhood, which I know didn't happen by accident.
That's the culture you have created inside that football building.
But when we watched Joe Borough, who again continues to set records at quarterback and we watch these receiving wide receivers who also are continuing to set records when plays have to be extended by Joe moving the pocket or whether he's sprinting out and extending plays, that's when that brotherhood kind of stands out to be on offense and I go back to a play.
The third touchdown in the game last Saturday 51 yard touchdown pass.
Borough moves everybody defensively to your old sidelined but far side, and somehow Jamaar Chase just instantly knows I'm gonna go to the end zone, gets behind the defense.
Joe hits him, and that's one of those examples of where they're all on the same page.
That's what I'll scramble rules we worked at every day.
In practice, we have scramble rules.
All the receivers know where Jones is gonna go to the football.
They break off the route.
They try to get open to the best thing about Joey's a great athlete.
He can extend plays with his feet. He's very smart.
He sees the whole field All right again.
I want to mention speaking of how great an athlete Jo Burrow is.
If you haven't checked out, we found our quarterback, which was I believe the second part was released today from L S U football.
Make sure you watch that.
Make sure if you miss the 1st 1 I doubt many in this room did.
But if you did go back and watch it, watch both segments.
You'll find out while we have a very special quarterback and Joe Pearl Let's go to the phone lines and Maddie calling in from Natchez matter.
You're on with Coach Oh, how hopeful way.
Don't recording way.
Doing phenomenal way.
Have a lot of great players that want to come.
We have a lot of commitments of some outstanding player with great character, great talent.
If we still have some guys left to Colin, we're harming some of the best Right now.
I believe we're the hottest things in the country.
I want to beat the SEC that want to play in our love Tiger stadium.
I thank you, Matty, for the call.
We appreciate you taking time out on this Wednesday night to give us a ring.
Coach. Jamaar Jace.
We gotta talk about him.
He received this week's SEC offensive Player of the Week, seventh such honor for a Tiger this season and, of course, Justin Jefferson. On Saturday.
They both combined 17 catches, 339 yards, five touchdowns combined now on the season 128 catches, 2126 yards and 24 scores and on Saturday night became just the third combo of receivers in the SEC to have over 101,000 yards each receiving in a season.
And they joined former Tigers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr and Florida's Jabbar, Gaffney and Richie Caldwell back in 2001.
It's been amazing to watch these two guys because if their arms and hands can get to the football more times than not, they're hauling it in.
Well, that's very couple of those names that you mentioned.
We all watched it.
We have a lot of respect for those players, is especially Jarvis, said Odell.
We still watching today.
They dominate in the NFL.
So you know those guys got a couple of years left.
Witness that we get the Terrance and Jamaar next year.
I don't know what just gonna do this year.
There's tremendous flair, tremendous tigers.
The best thing I like about the great teammates they pull to each other in the high five each other.
They could be just a tremendous group of receivers back after the phone lines.
Now Mike Alexandria Mike around.
Doing all right? Doing fine.
So you do have kind, man, I hope Kristina, But people doing great, Coach, I want to congratulate you on being selected semi finalist for the 2019 George Munger Coach of the Year award and also a candidate for the Bear Bryant coach of the Year award.
Did you ever imagine after Bear Bryant called your daddy's place for family Year's gonna be selected? This is one of the cousin of the year.
I mean, that's the mama.
Also, I want to say I got word gets you a big contract.
It can get cut off also.
Thank you, Miss Kelly, For being so good, Colton.
I mean, that's really sweet.
Shall take your time out for him, you know, doesn't notice so business and also coached, you know, you know, in an onside kick with you in which I won't congratulate Jeff because he did a textbook perfect recovery, that onside kick.
I mean, that was parked, you know, that really helped that a lot.
And the thing that they pulled that that they call playing.
You know, the fact that you called and they did a quick nap on it.
I'm well enough. We got an adjustment.
Nobody else somebody else gonna be looking at that down there.
Right? Well, you bury him.
Several takes all the kind words you said.
But it's about our football team, and it's always gonna be about our team.
In fact, almost try it.
Try what we call a global quick capital.
Or it was an incomplete pass, always enjoyable when Michael's in because he's got a Slew.
A question coach, He comes at you rapid fire.
But thanks for Mike for calling in.
We've got much more to come here on tonight.
Show plenty more to cover on the toaster on show presented by handcuffed Whitney.
Coming up will continue to take calls.
Couple of callers won't get too after the break.
We'll also check the Twitter machine.
See if there's any questions out there for coach and we'll continue to talk about the Oh Miss victory last week and look ahead to Arkansas this coming Saturday night. Stay Will.
It's It's the Etosha on show presented by Hand**** Whitney Live right here on the L S u Sports radio network.
Okay, the energy Ron show will be back in just a few moments.
I will go ahead and go over some more scores.
I'm gonna go over some more scores for you while we're waiting for the others.
run show to come back on the show with some simulcast live on W W from the L s U Sports network.
Ah, that's, um, the L s U um network.
Okay, let's give you the hockey scores.
Okay, 3 20 left to play in the first period.
Score is Ottawa Montreal scoreless.
And let's see other games going on.
I'll let me pull my screen up.
Okay, Washington versus ah B New York Rangers.
And that's no score in that game.
So we'll go to another school board update.
Let's give you some college football updates and give you tonight's college football school board.
Wow! Okay. College football Scoreboard Update.
Miami, Ohio is had 10.
The three that's in the second quarter.
Indium second quarter.
It's also, um, Buffalo.
It's seven 13 40 left to play in the second quarter in those games.
Now Thursday Night Football.
We'll give you 1/3 night run down.
Okay, Thursday Night Football nor North Carolina State Georgia Tech will play a Thursday night, so that's the only game that's gonna probably be on.
But the only but the game will have here.
It's gonna be southeastern versus the nickel state kernels.
That will be at 6 p.m.
We'll have the will join the broadcasts they saw three to sports Radio Network for that broadcasts tomorrow night.
So if you want to come in, listen to this broadcast.
You can Thanks for joining us.
So we will have, um we'll go back to the l S u uh, coaches show that's at Earth.
Ron will be back and back in a few minutes of thanks for joining us tonight.
If you could see me, let me know.
Give me Give me Give me some semi semi comment on on on on one.
Um, SportsCastr, So So we'll know if we're not getting a bad signal or not.
So if you're seeing me, so if you can hear the broadcast all you could see me, let me know.
So we're gonna go back to the l s u coaches show presented by, um w w l and L s U sports radio network appliance.
Mark and Bo's your city Mark, you're on with Coco.
How you doing, Mike man, cause we're so proud of you in this team, it's just a pleasure.
Goingto work every Monday morning.
This year I got a question for you, you know? And I know the business was down on themselves in the second half of this game and played such a phenomenal first half.
Does the defense get tired because the offense score so quick? You know what? When that happens, we usually rotate our guys.
And luckily, we have not been injured too much to where we can't rotate a special defensive lineman.
So though that wasn't the case at all, Thank you for the phone call.
And, you know, I want to mention Europe 31 to 7 at the half.
And obviously they get the football to start the third quarter.
They go to plays 31 seconds off the third quarter clock.
They get a two point conversion.
Suddenly it's 31 to 15.
L s, you would answer Kay York, who will talk about a little later, puts a field go up, Then you get the football back told Miss two plays again.
They score 33 seconds off the third quarter clock in a two point conversion is converted.
Suddenly it's an 11 point game 34 to 23.
Now I know you guys have studied this film? You have broke it down from every angle When you look at it and you see that sudden rash of score eoe what was it they were doing different.
And what was it that maybe L s u Maybe it was a bit Maybe it was.
I don't know what he would have called the stuff we ran killer by flat to take the common quarterback kept the ball. We missed a tackle.
He made a touchdown.
The rest of the place were more schematics.
We didn't have enough people at their point of attack, and we may have missed a tackle.
Admit Mr Assignment and their quarterback was a really good player.
But all those things are very flexible.
We were three hours on four players on Sunday And trust me, we've got a fix, you know, for the lay person like myself and maybe some of those out there listening tonight what was different on Saturday and what oh miss did in the first half versus the second half.
From a football perspective, I think the quarterback runs then Wilmore, susceptible to run the quarterback runs with the Connors that will market before technique out safety was on the other side.
We expected to play to hit the other side so we don't have enough people at the point of attack.
That's all it was.
All right, let's go out to the phone lines again.
Again, if you're out there listening tonight.
Got a question for the coach to 25578 42 7 in Baton Rouge, 1 803 15 80 to 55 from anywhere in the country.
Let's head to Pancho Tula.
Jeff is on the line with Coach.
Oh, hey, Coach, I know you treat your players like you do your own Children, and I know you hired the best coaches in the country and you let them coach.
And that's why we're number one in the country right now.
And that's a credit to you.
And I'd also like to say, um, that Coach big love.
When you say go tigers of effort interviews, you have way, love.
I mean, not that that makes us proud.
And I have one question coach and I'll hang up and listen.
Um, well, Michael Divinity, 20 in this game this week and and coach before what you go.
I wanted to say that, Um I was watching this the whole miss game at my brother's house and I had to leave.
But few minutes early and I turned on the radio.
And Chris Blair describes the game as if your look Matic on tbe He's that good.
So I love I'll hang up.
What are you saying that I love saying Go tigers.
It's an honor to be, no question about that.
I will trust us.
It's all the time.
And we appreciate a great job.
Christos for us.
It will not be eligible this week.
He's elder with a practice.
I stated today that if there is another road, there will be a not a game after a bowl.
Perhaps Michael will be eligible.
That would be a while.
We're not game like the whole Brexit.
Perhaps Michael will be eligible it with anybody listening that I don't think that we are related.
Um, Coach, I want to ask you this.
A lot of talking heads around college football this week especially, Said, Well, l s use offense, maybe unstoppable, At least up to this point.
It has been defensively, there's been question marks and, you know, I was looking back at some of the big games this year and you've had plenty of big game against very good opponents.
And this defense has been able to make big plays.
They've been able to take aways.
They've been ableto force punts when the when the Tigers needed them to do so.
So I'm playing Devil's Advocate here.
When somebody asks you, Are you disappointed in the L S u defense in 2019 you say no, and this is what you talk about.
That other stuff is block out the doors, all that stuff on TV, No matter.
We're gonna play football again and we gotta focus in on the task at hand.
And right now it's weak.
That's always focusing on. Absolutely.
The proof is in the pudding, continuing to talk with Coach Oh, here on this Wednesday night, let's talk about your kicker a little bit.
I said we would Earlier, Kate York, a young man goes three for four, including a new career long of 52 yards.
Now he tried one from 48 which was his previous long.
He just missed on it, too, as well, Kind of hit the flag.
Is it missed? Right upright on Zach Rosenberg.
Your partner couldn't get any better, Didn't have any punts on Saturday night.
Did an excellent job.
But you talked last week and you talked off season about the importance of your special teams.
The deeper we go into this season, it was great to see the youngster step up and perform on the road.
That 54 yard, a changeable bent over the football game Thegame was getting close.
We needed those points of that time.
I believe he's 16 to 19 will field goals this year, which is pretty good for a freshman.
He's acting on Monday.
I know he got a lot of rest.
Maybe at the roots of more expresses get warmed up for this week.
Let's go out to the phone line again before an expert.
We got slim calling and slide out slim from slide out.
You're on firm with Coco.
Coco, Stay slim.
Hey, and I'm gonna tell you it's a privilege and honor as a homegrown Louisianan to be talking to you right now.
Let me tell you, it's an honor to be a Louisiana and the whole nation is goingto understand that your shortly.
But let me tell you, we've been through a lot as l S u fan and we bad makes coaches Nick's Davin Left miles that we finally have a true Louisiana and and he's gonna do the job and they doing a job.
But I just want to thank you for finally being the first Louisiana and coach and the only use the any and coaches you wanna win out the championship you that they could say, Nick, save in one of the championship.
But you're gonna win us Devil championship like it's well, appreciate you.
Alright, fans coming out will continue to take more calls.
We got questions from the crowd here in TJ Ribs, and then we'll turn our sights on the game this weekend.
We'll get the scatter report on the Arkansas Razorbacks from Cho Cho's.
We finish up tonight.
It's the Eto Geron Show presented by Han**** Whitney.
We're live from TJ Ribs here on the L S u Sports radio network.
Okay, the energy Ron show will be back in just a few moments.
Let's give you some more scores.
Okay, let's give you some MBA schools in just a second.
I'm gonna I'm rolling up.
Okay, Um, New Yorkers, they had 60 to 53.
That's in the third quarter.
Also, it is San Antonio down 89 85.
Also, it is, um, Milwaukee.
And I'm Atlanta tied up 52.
Also, it is, um, Dallas. I had 56.
That's in the so golden State.
Looks like they're not.
They're relevant no more.
Looks like they kind of follow the port there. Down 56.
Also, it is Miami.
Also, it is Brooklyn.
Um, I had 50 to 42.
Also, it is Toronto.
I had 61 51 Tied up a 30 between Chicago and Detroit.
And also, um, it is, um umm Utah.
Um, so that's going on right now.
Let's give you the NHL scores, Okay? NHL scores still scoreless in the Montreal, Um, I don't want game.
And also New York Rangers, not Washington, which is Washington Capitals game.
And it's I'm, uh, no score in that game.
So I will go back to the, uh Wednesday night coaches show Heather's wrong show on progress.
Well, I had once again, after eight o'clock, we'll have the sports talk with care with my show.

You may be without this weekend for various reasons.
For those that may have missed that, can you update us on the overall health of the team number one and any Tigers that may or may not? Blake and start Consol this Saturday night? We're gonna see how great double does during the week.
I talked to him yesterday.
He wants to play if he can play.
If he's totally healthy, we're gonna put him in.
That's totally up to the trainer.
Trance says. He's healthy, wants to play.
We'll let it play.
We'll see what happens on that were pretty healthy.
All right, let's go to the crowd here at TJ Ribs.
I believe we got Bobby up first Bobby, you're on the coach.
How you doing, Coach? Coach? I'm from Larose, Louisiana, and honest.
I understood you at the beginning of the season when you said I'm coming.
We're coming right now.
The rest of the nation is gonna know we're coming.
Thank you, Coach.
I got a question about the early signing period is coming pretty fast.
Think, December 18 December 20th.
Uh, do you know how many recruits are gonna be signing during this period? About a heart 25 way? Got a lot of work to go way have 10 minute your graduates this year, which is great.
And we expect most of the signings that are committed to us to sign.
So it should be a Lord Sonny class of the early signing period.
Thank you, Bobby.
Go What you got for us this time, coach.
And they would get 27 guys and squeeze them in.
I don't worry about that.
You mean Well, maybe it'll be all right.
Coach Joseph Black and James Ward.
Are they gonna play some Saturday night for sure.
Yeah, well, it'll play you.
Yeah, hopefully we'll get some young guys in here and see how the game goes, we're gonna play as many freshmen as we can.
The new role of allowing freshman to play four games right at them.
Still so be red shirt.
It has really helped your time.
You place of guys and off his wine.
Don't nobody performance.
I thought they played extremely well in the you great, those guys out.
I think you're great out pretty well.
Do you know they're probably door try? I was very proud of Adrian McGee.
He's had excellent year force guys, the MVP of the effects of Lycos.
James Craig, I think, is not a phenomenal job.
I think I dreamed McGee may be the most improved Leon football. Yes, he has.
You know, he's a senior, and it's his time he's answered about Yes, sir.
Coach Joe Burrow is the man's j u x d u R e rex Job Earl is the main Wait.
Now will be to organize Miss Kevin hit the wrong man.
All right, everybody time now, toe. Call the neighbors.
Get him up. Turn the radios on.
It's time for the evil twin coach Raghu has removed all the sharp items from your lovely Arkansas wives.
Arkansas is like the planet Fluto Cole.
Dark, lonely, far away in some coal place out in the universe.
And, you know, Coach, the planet Bruto was so small and insignificant they degraded it from a planet to a large asteroid.
The football team at Arkansas is the same.
It's small and insignificant.
So I suggest that we declassified from an SEC team to a Sun Belt.
Teams off course they lost the Western Kentucky.
So that's actually in the insult to the Sun Belt teams.
Yeah, in the words of Beyonce's, it sucks to beauty, you know, like, now.
And you know, Coach, I have something to tell those Texas A and M people.
I won't be here next week for Thanksgiving.
So I wanted Texas saying them to know something.
I have a message for you.
You know, there was a Baptist church.
You have his big, more key.
It said to the person that stole our air conditioning.
Keep it because where you're going, you're gonna need it today.
And am I just to say you can keep your stolen victory.
You can keep your nephew that got his butt whipped and you can keep your commemorative cups because you know what? On November 30th at six o'clock, there's gonna be there's going to be atonement for your sins and save Beibei is gonna be there.
A. Shoot a welcome.
You gonna wish you in here when you got so coach or no, Wait, that's wrong.
I should say, SEC, coach of the year and deservedly national coach of the Year.
I have a question.
Tell us about our offensive line.
I know there's a lot of shake up Teller left the right.
Who do we got coming in? Who's gonna be the backup? Yeah, we expect a dream like you to play left tackle.
Give that a girl played outstanding it door.
Obviously long term strippers will be center deluded.
Right? Gord Austin Decadence is healthy.
Is not a heart percent healthy right now, so we don't know if he or the doctor always said you got thank you guys are fan questions segment each week brought to you by Anheuser Busch Tiger fans, whether it's at the tailgate or the watch party, keep it crisp with a nice cold.
But life we got some phone calls to get to.
Then we talk about the Arkansas Razorbacks as we finish up here on this Wednesday night X mark.
Professional moment equipment trusted to toe one by top landscape rose over the next best selling brand of zero turn mowers.
And as we go to break, here's the X mark.
Take it to the House replay as Joe Borough found Jamaar Chase for a 61 yards score, the record setting 13th of the season for the sop****re receiver from Metarie, Louisiana.
Unless you're doing it through the air, Ole Miss doing it on the ground.
Snap back to Joe Borough.
Here comes the pressure.
They bring the House. Quick slant.
Breaks a tackle at the 45 across midfield down the middle of the field.

Got about maybe 50 14 minutes into the show.
We will have the sports talk with car with my show immediately following He had overthrown Show Talked with me from the l s u Sports radio network this weekend.
The Tiger's return home for the first time in two weeks.
Take on the Arkansas Razorbacks under interim head coach Barry Lonny The Hogs two and eight on the season.
Owen six in conference play.
They had last week off the plate for the first time under this interim staff this coming Saturday.
Tigers of winner of three straight over Arkansas, including last year's 24 to 17 win on a cold November night in Fayetteville we'll start our coverage Saturday.
Four o'clock with L s U Game day from Cheon Steiger One village followed by kickoff just after six o'clock here on the L S U Sports radio network coach.
I thought you really succinctly describe what it's like during an interim transition for a coaching the team on Monday.
Here in your press conference.
Very Lonny, the former tight end coach, is now leading the Razorbacks and will no doubt give this team a little spark.
Trying to make football fun again.
What's it like for a coaching a team when these things take place? You know, I think it's challenging for the coach.
I think it's channeled through the country. Seth.
I do believe that the players look at it as a breath of fresh air.
I know he's gonna tell him it's a new season way.
Oh, no, and it's a great opportunity for us.
Hey, played football in Arkansas, has a lot of pride in Arkansas, wants to play a Razorback football, so he's gonna have fired up.
I'm sure is gonna be new places.
You wrinkles that we haven't seen.
We'll have to just two.
It would be fun.
You know when I got to Monday during your press conference getting ready for this week's game, I realized they last played on November 9th as we touched on lost 45 to 19 to the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky.
Obviously, a true low point.
The decision was made.
London was asked to take over.
They had a finally week last week, having so many different quarterbacks.
When you look at the film this season for Arkansas, so many different attempts to run the ball, pass the ball anything they could do to move the chains and score premier standpoint, the coaching staff standpoint isn't a challenge to scout and prep for a team that maybe nobody has film, you know, it's about the way we're gonna play about the way we're gonna fit out defense about the way we're gonna tackle after last week's film.
If they don't see obeisance till we expected a lot of quarterback runs, they could put KJ Jephson, number one back there were expecting him to be the quarterback, so we're prepared for that.
All right, let's go out to the phone lines.
A question about defense against the run will go to Barry Bear you've been waiting patiently.
You're on Mako. Joe.
I've got a question for you.
What? You are about to run defense? Yeah.
Fix it. Fast way made some adjustments.
We did some things that way.
Should have put out players in a better position against someone there.
When we made some mistakes with Mason mistakes that we worked hard on those plays, a couple of those plays that they ran against us when you place, which we hadn't seen before.
So I think it's a combination of everything, but we're gonna fix it.
Before this game, we had a pretty good run defense.
I think we'll second and SEC.
So we're not gonna panic.
We're gonna fix it and we'll go to mention a quarterback we expect or most people expect.
KJ Jefferson to at least get the start again.
We've seen next Dark Open Hicks, John Stephen Jones in that position for Arkansas.
When you go into the film this week again, assuming K J.
Jefferson is gonna be the starters, do you still have to get prepared for for all of those quarterbacks, Do you go back and watch some of the film when they're in the game, obviously watched every every game that they played this year.
We're prepared for basic plan against each quarterback.
We also prepared to play the things that hurt us.
We think that the things that has hurt us in several games or defense, they're going to run and we should be ready.
Ricky Boy Brush for over 1000 yards this season, has eight rushing touchdown.
He's been utilized in the passing game.
He's got 15 catches on the year.
What do you expect? And when you watch this team when it comes to the running game, what have you prepared for specifically for Arkansas, along with her offensive line? Well, first of all, the boys are the best backs of their species.
Big physical had very fast.
He gave us problems last year.
We expect a lot of gaps, schemes, a lot of counters.
A lot of power is a lot of outside zone and a good quarterback runs all right.
We got a couple of phone calls to get to and in our final segment tonight with Coco, talk about the Arkansas defense and what it means for the Tigers to finally come back home after two very good road winds for L s u Stay with us.
Our final moments with cocoa on this week's show Coming up right after this on the toes are on show presented by Hand**** Whitney on the l s u Sports radio network.
Okay, show about seven minutes on in the show, there will be back in just a few moments.
Commercial break so well over some more scores.
Well, I had to go over a little bit more scores on the college basketball side.
Let's give you some scores.
Um, uh, ST Louis is ahead of high 0.
Troy's ahead of Texas A and I'm 25 17.
That's at halftime.
I work. I had 52. 32.
Also, it is u A b.
I had 25 27 against most Saint Marissa at halftime.
Also, Memphis's I had 28. 23.
Um, Missouri is they had 36 29.
Also, it is Banda Bill had 38 37 at halftime.
I Also it is Chicago ST.
Yes, I had 40 to 34.
Uh, the line this is this is, uh this is upset Special right here.
The line is they had 20 to 16.
12 55 remaining in that game in the first half for North Carolina since early for them.
I also it is sacramental state.
I had 10 8 final scores.
Miami, Ohio defeating ***ual state 82 45.
Also, it is Florida State winning 89 53 over Chattanooga.
Be at my wedding over Kris, Kristen college and think it's what it is.
I'm not too sure what it is.
Okay, That's one of the schools, um, going on.
So we switch this over, switches back in, So Yep.
So it's 96 to 20.
Drexel wins 86 74.
I also Louisville wins over North Carolina, South Carolina, Upstate 76.
So we just updated the scores for you.
So that's scores.
That's going on, but see it, But that's going on in the n b a.
We'll scroll it down. Okay.
MBA right now is New York 82.
Um, Philadelphia, 78 4 4/4 10.
Also, it is San Antonio leading 1 11 to 106 and at half time it is, um, Atlanta leading.
Also, Golden State is just getting absolutely destroyed by Dallas, 74 38 and Cleveland's also getting destroyed by Miami, 75 48 at halftime.
And also Brooklyn ahead.
Toronto We had 65 55.
Also, it is Chicago.
I had 47 42 also it is Minnesota head, Um, 34 to 28.

They had great teammates right there.
All right, all right.
Great to see you guys here tonight.
Let's head out to the phone lines one quick time before we're John Mike in Baton Rouge.
He wants to talk about the Arkansas defense.
Mike, you're only coach Oh, hey, Coach.
How you doing? Listen, I wanted to come in you, your ability to deal with adversity.
You you have with your ups and downs you have.
It means something to me.
I think a lot of people in Louisiana, we're passionate people.
Be different people in South Louisiana.
One of us, you understand that.
And it does my heart.
It does a lot of people do it to know that you with us because you like family.
But, coach, you know Arkansas is gonna come in.
But when people come to Tiger Stadium to play when you ain't got nothing to lose, that's a dangerous person.
Yeah, well, thanks for the great things you said my prelim, insidious way.
Understand that about Arkansas? They They gave us a tough time last year, but we got him at home.
We got a lot of things to play for.
We don't talk about it, but a lot on the line on every games.
Guys, understand that.
I expect us to play lights, lights at football.
Thank you, Mike, for the call coach this week in practice, anything stressed for the offense in preparation of this game.
Any specific elements you wanted to emphasize your really protection protected Geo able to hit the deep balls down the field, continue to run the football.
We had short of practices.
I cut about 20 minutes off each practice.
Guys was flying around the practice for us.
I wanted to be pressure on the football field on Saturday and throughout the season.
Coaches we close up shop denied.
I know you were busy last Saturday at the team hotel getting ready for the game, meeting with the team over an olive branch.
But I think I represent all l s u fans when I tell you that the peace Tom Rinaldi did on you during college gameday was his moving and inspiring as anything I've ever seen.
Not that I could have helped you, but I was fired up in my room up there in 3 28 I was ready to suit up and do whatever I could for you.
But regardless of what happens from this point forward, thank you for what you do for L s U football.

Okay, that concludes tonight's show.
We will have the sports talk with Karen.
Everybody welcome back to the sports talk with Caroline Mayer show.
Wednesday, November 20th.
We'll go over tonight's breakdown.
I will bow in the wall in Saints versus the Carolina Panthers.
This coming, um uh, Sunday on.
That's, um so that's it's gonna be a pretty good this is going to be, ah, mining middle game for both change Carolina in the Saints Because right now Cal on it's like two behind in the NFC South standings.
So right now, look, we can't slip up.
That's one thing about it.
So let's go ahead and give you some press conferences.
I would give you some press conferences.
From today, we will have coach Ron Rivera.
We also have coach Sean Payton, and they would be explaining This game also will go over the specifics in this game afterwards.
So let's begin where? With our press conferences tonight, it is showing Peyton up first and then Brian Barbera up next.
What? I wanted to come up with the blank screen might have this all, but it might be a blank screen.
You have a blank screen one.
See if I get it, huh? She won't ever get it.
I won't ever get it.
I'm probably gonna have to see if I get it.
But this one What say we go? We'll go round with barrel first.
I don't think we can.
We'll try to see if we could get.
We'll get those press conferences up for you.
I would try to do that.
I'm No, I know. We have a blank screen.
I'm just trying to get this up, so just some Please.
Um please be patient with us.
We'll get this up on the screen.
I end the screen and stuff like that.
Okay, Um won't get that so we won't be able to get that side.
So we'll probably have to go to the other website, so apologize for everything.
I'm just trying to get everything up on the screen.
So this some please have patience with us.
I'm trying to get everything set up, so I know.
I know it's a low pain in the ass, but so we'll try to get the audio set up in a second.
Let me just sign.
Get that set up.
I'm gonna try to see if we can get it set up for the audio conference is set up on the screen.
I'll see what we could do it.
So I will have Remember barrel also have Sean Payton in just a second on my screen because they can't get it in chrome sire.
But that and while we can't get those screens up, why we're not getting the screens up. Apologize.
Good morning, Border.
Good morning Showing.
Looking at the way Carolina has used Christian McCaffrey, How creative have they been? Or have they evolved to over the years? Well, I think, um, I think it's it's really the opposite.
I mean, in other words, I think he's their feature at back And maybe, uh, two years ago you saw him in a lot of different roles.
And I think now, uh, you know, you're I mean, of course he's He's the guy that has that versatility in the passing game.
But man, he's he's on the field for, you know, close to 100% of the snaps.
And so you're seeing him obviously as a runner, uh, and getting a lot of Cherries and then also in the passing game before Guy his size has his durability been been a bit of a surprise, or he did man e.
I think it's a good question.
I think one of the one of his traits that he has, like Alvin, is that they're hard.
D'oh! They're hard to get a real square head on and so he can edge defender, um, you know, play with good pad level.
It's one of the things that he does exceptionally well.
Sure, the thing we talked about this before, but what do you remember about that 2017 running back classes? I think Calvin Cooke was in it to the opening Christian McCaffrey.
Look, you, you have the grades on players, you identify where you're selecting and you trust your board.
Uh, you know, Terry Cohen from Chicago was in that class.
So you you really look at where you're selecting and it's just one position.
There's obviously a number of positions that are taking place at the same time.
I don't think that we asked you about it earlier this week, but after looking at that as a film, what would you think of the Keystone plays in places? Ponders.
But he played well.
Uh, you know, he thought we did a good job of front against a pretty good run defense, and I thought our protection it was good.
We got a few times early in the game and then and then kind of sorted that out.
But I thought overall, I was pleased, Obviously.
Week 17 last year, you guys got the first look at Kyle Allen and a starting NFL quarterback.
What do you remember about his performance? Listen, he makes big throws, and you certainly have a chance to look at that film.
But we've got so much film from this season, you know that you're really you're really seeing him in a starter's Rolande.
That's kind of how we're approaching.
Is he doing anything different now that what you saw? Well, you just had limited exposure last season.
So no, I look someone that's confident.
I think he's got real good athleticism.
You can get out of the pocket, make throws on the run.
He's got a good arm.
Um, he's played well formed this year.
Gerald McCoy added anything that they made a little bit different than you used Thio.
Yeah, I think there's things you've got personnel that have changed, and then in their base package, you know, they're playing a lot of this okey structure under defense.
And so, Gerald, you know, it was playing in the three technique position.
Um, they lead the NFL in sacks first in the NFL, and, uh, getting to the quarterback.
I mean, you can see that on film.
And Mario Addison Bruce served, and all these guys are playing at a high level.
Um, it's noticeably different.
All right. Thanks, guys.
Okay, this is a short Peyton's Prescott audio press conference will go to remember, but we have OK, switch it over to rhyme Ribera on press conference.
Let's go ahead and do that.
I'm going to do it right now.
Must switch the audio feed over.
I give you the broadcast.
No, Hold on one second.
Sorry about that.
We'll get Ron Rivera up in just a few seconds, so let me get it up while you're Thank you.
How you doing? Together.
How are you guys doing? Great, thank you.
You only get two of us rest of us around at practice right now, so that makes life a lot easier.
Exactly. Keep it easy on you.
So I'll start off with that.
You face the saints a whole lot in your career.
What do you think Demario Davis has brought to this defense? Uh, well, I'll tell you what, he's um you know it its speed.
I mean, that's what this lately is really turning into.
You got a guy that can run around, make place for them as a linebacker, that can run.
I mean, that's before we've been very fortunate you, in my time here we had.
We've had three guys that could really, truly get after it by in terms of fast, you know, every down playmaker guys.
And you started to see that with him.
As he gets more and more comfortable on what they do in the way they do things.
Is there anything that stands out in particular about the Saints defensive line to you? Oh, they're an aggressive group.
I mean, they attack up, you know, and I like all the guys, but I've always been been fun.
That camera Jordan be the Golden Bear, you know, from the University California.
So I've always kind of appreciated watching him play.
I really think that he helped set the tone in Temple for that.
For that front is deaf speaking.
Defensive line particulars is death, something that they kind of have in spades right now, I think a lot of depth all the way across the board when you look at what they got as far as our D line could start.
I mean, they have, You know what? What, you what you look for, in my opinion, and that's guys up front that set the tone in tempo.
Guys that front that impact the game, influence the guys behind him and help them to be better football players.
You know, a lot of people talk about you know, about certain elements of defense's Bobo, but I've always been one that believes it starts up front, and you feel really good about the way those guys were playing.
It kind of to me, it just kind of permeate throughout the rest of the unit because they feel that and they the impact those guys up from May come, and I really do.
I think they've got a good 10 of our outside rushers, you know, I think they get good push on the inside so guys can't step up.
That's why they've had some success this year.
What did you learn about Kyle and that week, 17 game last year? Um, that he doesn't know any better.
He's a young guy that still learning the game and still understand the game.
And he just, you know, you went out there waiting and it's crazy.
But he's a young guy that that's gonna be like, You know, I said after Sunday's game, you know, people just up and down the field and then a couple crazy things happening trying to force a football in, turn it over and those are growing pains and it couldn't happen with the young guy he's gonna learn, and he's gonna have to make sure he does things the right way all the time.
It's not just wing it game out there.
You're playing against a very good people and you've just got to understand that and take what's there.
And it's not, you know, throw a ball away.
I'm gonna ask you to speculate a little bit here, so I apologize for that ahead of time.
But it's been a long time since Ah, somebody other than a quarterback won the M v P.
I think you've got two guys in this game who could make a pretty good cases for it this year.
What do you think about a guy like like Christian or Michael Thomas? Uh, being named like a most valuable player in the league.
Well, you know, I'll tell you what.
When you have guys that impact the games every game, they playing you most of all, you gotta consider, especially guys like that that are impacting the game constantly.
You know, I'll say this, too.
I think there's some guys that don't get enough recognition on the defense side.
You know, for years, look has been a tremendous player for us, but as I said, and I'm very no, I'm very partial to carry out or not.
I think that's another guy that impacts the game.
I really do so to me.
You know, the the MP, the league MVP is a guy that you know that you take him off his team and your team becomes an average team on, put him on another team.
That team becomes better.
That that that, to me, is an impact player.
That's definitely gonna be tough guys, you know, Those guys that I mentioned are all guys I think are really, really good football players in the What do you remember about evaluating this? This 2017 running back class, obviously Christian, was in it album Camaro was in it.
Three Cohen bunch of bunch of really good running backs in that class.
What you remember about just kind of looking through that group.
I'm trying to figure out you know which guy we should be honest with you and we always felt really good about Christian.
But we all said it.
Then I will say this and I'm not just saying this because he turned out to be a really good pro but album with somebody that was way we're paying attention to as well.
I mean, he really has just become a real special player, a lot of good things for the Saints.
And I'll tell you what.
Sean makes it hard on people because the way he uses his talented players, a lot of these guys, you look at their roles in the offense.
I think Christian and Alvin are a prime example of that.
Are you? Look at the way these things guys in that class impact impact games.
They're not just you're running backs like like you typically like traditionally expected that position to play their guys impact the game.
Well, I I think those guys are changing the position you know, And I will say, you know, this is that when you have guys that are matchup problems and not just at the running back position, but it tight end and receiver, you know, they really impact your opponent preparation.
And that thing that happens when you know whenever you play the saint is that, you know, they're gonna they're gonna create matchup problems and you have to be aware of those things.
And, you know, I mean, you know, he needed a cz crazy, it seems, and people are really taken those.
But tasting Hill is a is a guy that creates matchup problems.
So you have to prepare for all these types of potential things that happens.
And Sean noses, he does it on purpose and he makes it hard on defense.
And that's why they're so successful Iran.
I guess this follows logically from that answer.
We sit here and watch my Thomas every week get 8 10 12 catches and wonder, why don't they just doubling Maur and do something to slow him down? Can you explain the dilemma of trying to devote extra resource is to him and maybe exposing yourself elsewhere? You answer the question for me, you that should expose yourself somewhere else.
And plus, he's got too many playmakers at that.
If he has to, you know, give the ball.
Who could have fallen down the camaras hands as much as he needs to.
You know, he he's got he got two good tight end that you gotta pay attention. 53.
I mean, I like all three of those guys, I think, cook hill and are on alert for guys.
You got to be aware where they are, you know? And then you've got the speed of Teddy again, and we all know very well I mean, you you can take all your resource is all the times and put it there all the time.
Because you know what you're shopping for.
A quarterback will figure that.
I mean, you you want him on tape and you see him checking and you know it.
He knows what they're doing.
He's got a feel for it.
He's gonna do something else, and you can watch it.
You could see it on, and sometimes you can't stop it.
And what is it that makes Mike so difficult to guard? Um, because he goes after the ball.
He doesn't wait for the ball to get him.
He goes, get this receiver's everyone great, Brown said.
That that are fast and run by people, but they don't get the ball when it's here.
Their mentality is not the same as this guy's.
This guy's mentality is the balls in the air.
It's month, and as a country, we appreciate that mentality.
Just getting back to Kyle for a second.
Now that there is a lot more of him on film, having played so much this year, do you see opponent starting to get some idea of how they might want to defend him compared to maybe earlier in the year? Maybe.
Maybe, you know, it's funny because way played against all types of defense attorneys at six hours and he's had some failures, and in some of those cases it was not necessarily descended here, but how the defendant's mother and then other times it was, I think, that they did specifically for him, you know.
So again, I think it just depends on the way people want to attack and whether or not we could handle certain things as a team to that's The thing we can't forget is that we're not putting him out there.
Say you win the game by yourself.
You know, we're putting out there telling you hate your job within the framework of what we you know what we could be Game, blast and attack the opponent.
You know, the way that we talked about attacking, and that's the thing that he has to remember.
You have to understand.
You know, at one point I told the guys, Hey, there's not a a 26 point play you got to take.
You have to do it one play at a time.
You gotta do it one at a time.
And so if you try to get it all the watch, it's not gonna happen.
And that's the thing that the young guys my opinion has tomorrow.
Yeah, and I think he's learning and growing gradually.
Obviously you guys were very familiar with with Gerald McCoy.
Can you take me through when he became available that I become a priority he was for you guys to get and then what he's brought to your offense. Blond unit.
Since he's been here, he's a big party way was after starting the lady left, we lost that extra combination guy.
We needed another guy to go with, you know, with a combination of guys that we have with KK and way got Don Terry pose big stout guys just have a terrific year for us.
Some good things.
And when you have that Kei Wan short God, you need that third component and looking for a dynamic guy out there that became available without a This is a guy we gotta go out and get.
And he's been everything we thought.
He he has to be forced.
The unfortunate part is, KK being heard is really kind of impacted our defense a little bit.
But, you know, I'm just just thrilled that we have a guy like, uh like him on our side, I think, Gerald, just a terrific football player and a heck of a young man.
Well, thanks. Done.
All right, guys, appreciate it.
Okay, That was the coach Sean Payton and s.
So let's go ahead and not give you the breakdown on this game Sunday.
Let's go ahead and begin with the Saints.
Let's go ahead and look at the score and offenses.
But go ahead and do that right on the screen.
Everything is right after screen.
Okay, um, Carolina scores 22 points a game.
The same score 23 points a game.
So that's kind of hot.
Hot hot action will show stateside scoring 23 But in the first quarter, this is a big thing right here.
We're looking at first quarter.
They only score 4.
Same school, only three.
So that's kind of big in the first quarter.
Now, in the second quarter breakdown, I'm Carolina does score six points, 6.
4 say school or 6.5.
I can't even match number right there between both teams, but it's a one point advantage for them now.
Um, in the third quarter, Carolina scores 6.
1 points and I'm saying score 6.5.
So it's ah difference right there.
Now in the fourth quarter, say some Carolina scores six.
So that's the difference right there between the first the quarter by quarter and in the stats.
So they score a total of 22 points.
Also, say score 23.
So that's one thing.
Both teams let's see, give up on the sea are both teams.
Let's see, they give up 19 points again.
Saints give up 19 points.
Carolina gets up a total of 25 point.
So that's the dust of concern right there.
So I look, Carolina, they're gonna come in.
They're gonna come in blazing hot.
That's one thing about it.
Will come in blazing hot.
Um, in this game, um, if you could bet your bottom dollar on it, let's give me the, um, total.
Total offense about stats.
Uh, Carolina, um averages 346 yards a game.
Sinks averaged 3 64 So both teams on the difference right there.
6 for Carolina and the sanctions.
So the Saints were averaging close to six yards per play on offense.
Carolinas that, um, I'd say close toe six.
Um, so both teams now running the football, both teams Carolina run to 24 times for 126 yards.
Saints run it 107 times for 20 or 25 carries.
3 yards up for average in games now passing wise.
This is going to be the biggest.
Um, stat, that's gonna, um um beat of reversals, ST.
Some average is 256 yards passing.
That's on 36 attempts on also 26 completions on I'm 36 attempts and see complacence is that, um 26.
4 today complete 26.4.
Carolina completes 22 a half, 22 a half Now completion percentages.
I must say this Carolina said 60% sanctuary at, um 71.
So that's a pretty good of assessment right there.
But in the wall in Saints, in this game now on sax, Carolina gives up 3.
Saints get up only 1.
9, um, sacks a game.
So, Zach, your this 28.
9 sanctuary a 14.9.
So that's the difference right there Between these two offenses right there.
Carolina and the Saints, um, one gives up Maur Saks than the other team.
So now the quarterback ratings Games Quarterback rating Sanctuary at 100.4.
Carolina said 74.
6 in games. So 74.6.
Uh, so I look at it this way, This is Ah, this is a very good team.
Sure they don't have Cam Newton.
Now they're gonna have Kyle Allen.
They're gonna have, um, Christian McCaffrey.
So they don't have a good running game coming into this sum game this Sunday coming in so they'll have a running game.
So So let's give you the young fumbles.
9 for Carolina and 0.
1 for the Saints.
So this is the fumbles right here.
5 for the Saints for Carolina Panthers and 0.
6 for the Saints.
6 now, Pelle the yards.
This is Pelham the yards.
52 yards for the Carolina Panthers and 57 yards from the New Orleans Saints.
So that's a difference right there.
So *** have Maur Appel only yards than the Carolina Panthers combined.
Now, on the third down conversions, this is what we're talking about.
This is the main stat they talk about on games again.
Okay, on third down Conversions.
Carolina said 30% The thanks.
All right, 44.2%.
That's on third down.
Conversions alone now on red on fourth down conversions.
Carolina's at 46%.
So it's a different story right there and the wall in Saints at 37%.
So they're going to convert on those fourth down.
So the biggest key in this game is limit.
That runs on first down.
That's what you gotta do.
You gotta live it there runs on first downs.
You also got a limit.
Their runs on third down, because they don't they'll go.
Maybe short passes or whatever to get those converse is So So that was the breakdown right there.
I will give you some more breakdown.
So let's give you a breakdown on some more breakdowns from Carolina.
Okay? We'll give you a ranking breakdown.
Um, we'll do that right now, but they must screen.
Okay, this is the ranking.
Some breakdown on offense for Carolina.
Carolina is points, um, points scored by teams that ranked 50 on yours to rank 18 and turnovers.
They're right, 27 also in first downs.
That rank 20th on attempts.
The right ninth, Um, that's on on attempts.
Also yours that rank 20 seconds on touchdown, said right.
29th on interceptions that ranked 20th on yours for average.
That's your that yards for pass attempt to rank 27 Onrushing, um, on yours.
That rank champ.
So they So they got the jump Best, um, running offense in the NFL.
They also ranked 19th in the champs.
The rank second with touchdowns.
It also ranked second on yours for chow.
Okay, average drives.
Um, scrimmage yours.
That ranked 21st as firm's percentages touched.
Turn over percentages.
Carolina's rank eight starting percentage.
They starting drives the ranked third time of possession that right? 30 seconds.
So they're not good in time of possession.
Also in place that ranked 26 also on average yards on drives the rank 25th and also points that rank 20 in that hour.
So that's that's your complete breakdown or not.
Carolina's, uh offense.
Okay, we'll give you a defense of breakdown on on the defensive side.
Give me one second toe refreshed there, So Oh, switching over it is okay.
This is on defense aside, the football on points scored by t.
Carolina's ranked 25th on yours too, right? 19 on turnovers.
That right? Four on formal lost by a team there.
Champ on first sounds defense That right? 26 26.
And, um, first down defense attempts to write 21st on yours that right? 14 on touchdowns given up their ranks. Seven.
Also interceptions that ranked on third, uh, in that area.
So their third best interception team, Right? I write to this point also a net yards, average old passes that ranked seventh Now on the run, game run defense, their rank. 27.
So they're not that, uh, great when it comes to, um, run defense.
So they write 27 yours given up on attempts against the defense.
That right? 17 on touchdowns.
That right? 30 seconds.
That's rushing touchdowns.
And also in yours for average.
That ranked 29 now, um, defense of starting drives on.
Um, but senators on scrimmage scores and right, 17 turnover percentage ranked seventh starting Dr.
They're ranked 21st Thoma possessing the right film.
I would place the right film on your DS.
That right jump.
And also, um um on points that rank 20.
So that's kind of that's kind of odd right there.
When you look at the Carolina patterns, that's kind of I would you look at that situation, the way the right.
So we'll give you the full rankings of both teams.
Can we pull this up? Okay.
Full ranking of both teams, Um, on your screen turnovers.
This is what we're talking about. Turnover differential.
The say too right for a turnover differential with eight plus eight.
So, plus eight in a turnover ratio s So that's the breakdown right there.
Okay, um, let's see, um, has passed offense.
Ninth for the same 27 2nd 40 arm.
17 for the Saints.
So they have a jump.
Best team running the football and running dogs.
So that's one thing about it.
So we're gonna be facing a very good, um, run offense in the Carolina Panthers.
So the objective is is to stop those runs on third down, first down and whatever plates that that suit you.
So I look at it this way, This game right here, we're gonna look at their box score.
Let's go ahead and give you their box score from last.
Um um Ah, Sunday Give you less.
Sunday. Fox scorebook lookin.
Last sunday, they lost 29 3 um, that's bullets up.
They lost in the Atlanta Falcons 29 to 3 in that game.
Um, um, Carolina head, um, 15 carries for 77 gold.
So they only have 15 calories in that football game for 77 yards.
They threw 27 in a game last Sunday.
So, um, against some, but their quarterback was sacked five times and the, um, in a football game.
So red zone opportunities for the gum.
Um, Carolina Panthers.
They were open to and writes on opportunities.
I'm going into this game last Sunday.
Now the time of possession.
Um, it lose the turnover wth e time of possession battle 13 26 28 24 28 24.
So they kind of was not, um um in that game last Sunday.
Let's give you the box score breakdown on last week's game.
Okay? Kyle Allen had 31 of 50 passing.
He had four interceptions.
Christian McCaffrey had 14 carries for 70 yards.
His longest was 18.
Um, but he also had forthe 11 catches, 1 21 So he had 11 catches for 1 21 So he is He had some impact in this game, but not much.
So the sacks was, um they had three sacks ahead, Addison McCoy and I'm Pope.
I had a sack of peace in that game versus, um, the Atlanta Falcons.
So So that's your, um, So I look at it this way? Look, if you can hold them to, ah, single amount of yours, that would be perfect right there for the Saints, if you ask me.
So I look at it this way, because this is That was last week's game.
Caroline, I'm gonna tell you.
Look at that game.
Right? There was just flat out getting there was flight of getting blown out of this game, um, against, um, the Atlanta Falcons.
They did score first.
They scored at 11.
He also scored at the 59 2nd book in the first quarter.
And also, they scored in the second quarter.
I was a field goal.
Atlanta had, um, touchdown.
That was 22 not eso.
It was 20 nothin.
And then, um, Atlanta had a touchdown in the third quarter.
Was that the 6 40 more I was on Calvin Ridley's six Or catch what touchdown.
And also, um, Carolina kicked the field goal.
That was their only points in the game.
They kicked the field goal in the fourth quarter.
And then count Atlanta kicked the field goal as well.
So that was That was the score right there.
That was the actual scoring of that game last Sunday against the Falcons.
They only scored in that third quarter.
Was that the 30 minute mark? So? So I look at it this way.
Uh, what these did This is gonna be a very good game right here.
So let's bullets up.
Okay, let's give you the bomb.
Um, I'm gonna give you the yum stats on him.
I'll give you us stats on the Carolina, but do that one second.
Let me get this pulled up on the screen.
You pulled my stats up a Carolina? OK? Carolina was Go ahead and go over. These guys.
Came a pull of up in the second.
Okay, this is some what I'm showing you in the screen.
Um, your leaders.
Right now it's on McCaffrey.
McCaffrey is the leader and touchdowns.
McCaffrey's a leader.
And, um um, let's see Russian Kahlo.
And it's one of the leaders of passing hits 1923 yards.
Moore has 707 9 yards and I Memorial Addison has 8.
So that was your leaders right there for the, uh, Carolina Pam **** in this game.
So I'm gonna give you the full stats on them.
Let me give you the full stats on on.
Um, Well, look at him right here.
Okay. Kyle. Ellen? Yes.
Has 10 touchdown to nine interceptions.
Cam Newton, we don't know when can do is gonna come back.
It's kind of, um, up up in the air with that situation with Cam Newton.
So I'm pretty sure Kahlan will be playing this Sunday.
You may running back leaders.
Christian McCaffrey has, um, $1059.
He also has 11 touchdowns, so he has an average of 5.
3 yards for also ready Bonham bottom fin has 95 yards.
That's not a guy.
You also has a touchdown as well.
So that's, uh that's gonna be the running game right there.
So if you got the Caffrey you got Bonham Finn, you got, um um see, Samuel.
Now it's gonna be a three guys that's gonna make a big impact.
I'm running that football for the Carolina Panthers.
Why receivers, Let's give your wide receivers wide receivers for Carolina.
J. Moore's got one touchdown.
McCaffrey got three, so he's got 10 catches.
So he's a good pass catcher as well.
Look, he's a tight end, so he's gonna be most likely making impacts in this game.
This I think he's gonna play.
It's another guy that will catch the football as well.
But he Carolina Pachter.
So you only got four people.
That's gonna be impact players for this sum.
Carolina Panthers football team.
So now your defense of guys these get D. C guys, these.
These are the guys who make a sax.
Eric Reid has three sacks.
Um, Shaquille Thompson has three.
Ah Po has four as four.
Also, um, James Bradley has, um, one.
And you made guy is Addison.
That's the guy that's going to be the biggest, Um, problem for the safe, odd offense because he has a sax on the season.
That's one thing that this office of line has to do it could try to contain these guys because they could They could come up.
Um, either on the left side that could come off on the right side or come up the middle if you have a good low, um, hold for them.
They don't make don't cause problems.
So that's the dust.
That's the linebackers.
That's gonna be the biggest concern.
But the saints, um, offense.
I like to see offense.
I do some slides of Texas.
That's what I like to see.
Uh, do some absolute slide for Texas.
Um, the going against these attacks because I'm gonna tell you they're going.
They're going to have some players that's going to make those impacts for the, um, Carolina Pap there.
So this coming Sunday, now the part now to kick off part returns, let's go ahead and go over the punt returners.
Okay? You main guy is making impact is right.
Right, Macleod, The third also, um, beyond great White is eight catches as well.
1 74 years, a 21.
So the other guys, I don't think it'll be less than a factor.
I think it's gonna be these two guys White and Macleod's.
It's gonna be the biggest on the kick officer.
Now, the part returners, this could be it's gonna be same situation.
I would say Macleod makes ah big impact for this sum team this Sunday And in those games, so s O the Saints secondary has to be on its toes because they'll have somebody that can run the football back.
And believe me, they will score.
They don't ever touched down yet.
Macleod doesn't have a touchdown yet, but it could happen at any time.
So that is, um ah, the in depth look at the Carolina Panthers now.
We'll give you some breakdowns.
Let's go ahead and give you, um um, breakdown on the, um, point spread breakdown.
Let's give you the trend breakdown.
Go ahead and give you that in a second.
Give you that break down.
I could give you the trend breakdown.
OK, The trend breakdown for Carolina and the Saints will go over it individually.
Okay, Carolina 80 s trends.
Carolina right now is six of one in the last seven games after score less than 15 points for their last game.
Now, um Carolina 62 in the last eight games last 12 games.
So that's in the last 12 now on field start, their six and two and at last eight games.
That's another discerning stat right there now, Um, Carolina, in their last seven games versus the NFC is two and five.
So that two and five verses the NFC.
That's against the spread now, um, Carolina as one for the last five games out there, passing in their previous games.
Also one in five in the last six games, Um, after allowing 90 yards rushing in their previous games, also in the month of November.
There, um, one in five.
So the month of November, that's kind of not been good for the Carolina Panthers have been one and five as of late.
Now, um, New Orleans Saints there seven and one, Um, and their last game.
Eight games overall, now six and one in their last seven versus the NFC Self.
That's, um and um, uh, thanks for five and one in there.
Um, last six games with straight up wins also sank her for one in their last five games on field TERT also sanctuary for one in their last five games.
Following straight up with UM, more than 14 points sank your nine and three minute last 12 after scoring 30 points of their last previous games.
Also in the month of November of the Saints of five, too.
So that's a pretty good record for the Saints in, um in games now to say to 34 60 in their last 51 games file in the 80 s when also the Saints of two and five in the last seven games.
So this week 12 32 and five week 12.
Now, this is on, um, over and on the trends.
Carolina is foreign zero in their last four games and we 12.
So that's in the over and under segments.
Um, let's say, um, any under, um um, Carolina is foreign.
One with double digit losses.
Also, I'm a C over.
Caroline is formed one of the last five games after ac***ulating 90 yards.
That's less than 90.
Yours will bless so less than 90 yards a game.
Um, Carolina is 20 to 6 birth.
Um, in the last 28 on field tartare also 22 8 and one in the last 31 games score less than 15 points.
Also, see um, under five and two, um, five and two, um, in at last seven, Um, following a straight up loss.
More than 14 points.
Also 12 and five in the last 17 games versus team winning records.
Now the Saints, uh, thanks for four and zero in the last four days, following straight up wins more than 14 points.
Also, um, sank in the last four games at scoring more than 30 points.
Also be, let's say, um under its art Form one Saints.
On their last five games, November also ate to their last 10 games with straight up winds.
Also on that last eight games following straight up Wednesday 862 Also, they're five to their last seven.
11 and five, Um, and at last 16 versus the NFC, now in the head to head, um ST 6 to in the over on the dog nine and one in their last time.
Meetings also, um over is 82 in their last 10 meetings.
Also, Carolina is 14 and 5 80 s in their last 19 games versus the Saints.
Also, Um, um, Road team is 25 11 in the last 36 games.
So that's that's the stats we talked about right there.
So that's something right there.
That's that's called trends.
We show you nobody.
Well, we'll show you the some things in this broadcast other than me, because this is some something we do.
So I look at it this way.
This is some, uh, sometimes the Saints.
Like I said, this team Sure, sure way.
One last week against side Tampa Bay.
We had a pretty good game last week, and Carolina headed very dismal game against the Atlanta Falcons.
But I'm gonna tell you, these two cheese with these two teams match up, they these two teams go at it and they go out for real.
And And this and this right here.
Yes, this is going to be an NFC self, um, game that the saints have to keep, um, keep a head off because, look, if you want to get that, um, Cinque's right now are currently I think they're in the third seed right now.
The playoffs with and, um um at the season would end this today, they would be the third seed.
I'm pretty sure, but you gotta We gotta work our way up in this game.
We gotta get We got to get some wins here.
You got to get some quality wins because you're gonna have Atlanta next the next time.
And you also going to head the San Francisco 40 Niners, which is another good team in the NFL.
They had some setbacks.
What the truth of the matter is Look, they're gonna bag going to be top down the road because we gotta win these games.
We gotta win these NFC South games if we're going to be considered Wendy NFC South title again and get it to the playoffs.
So, um so let's give you the young point spread on this game.
I'm gonna give you the point spread on this football game.
Do that in one second on to give you what the point spread tells us we're gonna go to the odds in one second.
Let me go ahead and switch it over because I'm gonna give you some odds in a second.
Let me give you a breakdown of the Saints.
The NFL IEDs, Um, at 8 52 Central time, that's not too over there.
And, um, East Coast.
Okay, the game for the Saints in the scroll with Down Saints.
As of right now, it's a nine point favorites.
So one of them is eight point favorites.
So it's eight and 1/2 but that's going to be See, that's going to be fan do Pandu.
It's got him at eight.
Um, Ben, who's got him at eight? Everybody else has got about nine.
So I'm gonna say this.
If the Saints could come out and not make no penalties and stuff like that, I think they'll cover the nine points I think they will in the first half.
But it's gonna probably be maybe attend the 13 point game.
If my memory serves me correct, I think it's gonna be maybe 10.
The 13 point football game here, nine points is is kind of highly, but its saints in the Carolinas matchup.
But the truth of the matter is, look, look, I think it's gonna be even Maur.
It's gonna probably over the point spread.
That's that's gonna happen this coming Sunday.
So So that's my ****ysis on the Saints versus the, um, Carolina Panthers.
So So we just gave you the trends and all that.
So it's ah, nine point favorites.
So hope it opened at seven.
So it opened at seven, but it went up two points to nine points.
So I think that's Amore.
Um um more respectful points to get the Saints, But I think one of them, Pandu, has him at eight.
But I think it's going to be could be nine in the first half and then probably scoring in the second half.
Most likely, I'd say between 10 or 13 points.
All may be greater denied.
So I said the safe win this game.
I say 27 um, 27.
I say the game will be a 27 14 game 27 14 victory for the sames.
So I hope I'm wrong.
But I kinda, um but But I have the ****ysis on here, so I have the point spreads its nine points.
So once again, that's this.
Concludes tonight's Saints versus Carolina breakdown.
Let's go ahead and switch this out.
