Nick's family was popping is your boy and I am here.
But I'm gonna tell you right now, not feeling well, I know pretty sick.
I apologize for being a few minutes late, but I've had some Internet issues, apparently.
Well, they're doing some work around my house and work underground with electric in units and some things like that.
And for whatever reason, they made a mistake in a cup my Internet line.
So I had to jump on and use my mobile hot spot just to get online.
They're not gonna have my Internet fixed until tomorrow.
What can I say? What can I do not like to do about it, but deal with it? Hopefully, everything is coming out nice and clear for you, and you can hear everything and all that good stuff.
Um, as you can hear, I got a cold.
My voice is a little bit raspy.
I've been sick for the past couple of days.
That's the reason why I did not get on last night or yesterday.
But I wasn't feeling well at all.
I basically slept all day until it was game time.
Did have a game yesterday.
We didn't win the game.
But we've seen a lot of positive things in our game, a lot of positive things.
I could tell you this.
We're gonna be a very, very good defensive team, really good defensive team.
You know what I'm saying? So it's all good, man. It's all good.
Um, big shots out to you guys, man.
Hopefully you having a good day at work, and I could help you get do the end of your day if you approaching the end of the day.
And if you just gettinto work, then hopefully I can help you get Do the beginning of your work day as we break down the Knicks in the 70 Sixers.
But tonight is a big match up, ladies and gentlemen, I mean, there's no doubt about it.
It's a big match up tonight, as the Knicks take on a 76 is why is it such a big match up? Because this is the point in the season when we really start to play some tough competition opportunites point of the season.
The Knicks, in fact, the easiest schedule in the league and will for intent.
I'm not gonna take a whole lot put a whole lot into that right because we had Thio.
You know, we've been through some things.
We've had some injuries.
We gotta learn howto play basketball together.
No, that good stuff.
Don't not now hold a lot into it.
And as we see the Knicks, you know against some teams that are supposed to be much better than them, they usually step up its stepped up against San Antonio first game.
They stepped up against Brooklyn.
They didn't get those winds, but they stepped up and they played well.
It had a lead in the fourth quarter.
They did get blown out by Boston once, but they also competed with Boston once and had a lead in that fourth quarter and had a chance to win.
They beat Dallas twice.
No, the next have showed up against competition when they get blown out.
When it got blown out against Boston, it got blown out against Sacramento.
They got blown out against Cleveland.
It got blown out against Chicago.
I said I got blown out against some teams that they should have gotten blown out against.
I feel confident that they'll be able to step up tonight and play well, that's all I'm asking for.
That's all I'm asking for is for them to play well, right? This is going to be Let's listen.
We are no Fizdale in that.
He's slow at end game adjustments.
Let's just be real with it.
Very slow on endgame adjustments.
So I'm not expecting Fizdale to make the proper adjustments for tonight's game endgame.
The 76 is in a couple of days, and what I've seen so far from his deal this season is that he's able to.
Maybe he doesn't make those adjustments mid game and he's gonna have to start doing that.
I hope that you could start doing it from game to game.
He makes better adjustments in the coaching staff.
They make better adjustments Now. I can relate.
I could relate because it is hard to make adjustments in game.
The game is difficult.
It's not easy to make adjustments during the game because so much stuff is going on.
You really gotta have people that could sit back right that can sit back and look at the game from a different point of view, then give you some adjustments that you might be able to make.
It was very hard to make in game.
But just because the game goes so fast, although that is part of your job as a coach is to make in game adjustments, so we'll see if he could do it tonight.
I don't know, but he has made good in game.
Good adjustments, game to gate.
So tonight's game.
I know there's a It's weird playing to Philadelphia 76 years because of the size that they have, you know, saying it is weird.
Emmanuel, See you say used.
He makes adjustments during halftime.
I mean, he does make some adjustments during halftime, but I think he makes better adjustments going.
You have some cultures who are really, really good making adjustments at halftime really, really good.
I'm not exactly sure that he makes the best of justice that have time.
It seems to me like other teams make better adjustments.
I have time and you know, I don't know.
Maybe he'll get better at it as time goes on and he understands the roster a little bit more.
But you know where he goes back and he looks at film, and then the next game comes of power.
He seems to make decent adjustments all right, tonight.
The next play to 76 is they play him at seven o'clock tonight.
I don't like these seven about.
I do what I don't You say I do it, though sometimes.
You know, the game starts at seven o'clock.
You okay? You get it over early, but I like the regular time of seven dirty anyway.
The game starts at seven o'clock tonight.
Let's take a look at the projected starters for each team.
For the Knicks, coach Fizdale is Nobody said he's gonna have the same start line up.
Frankly, Latina, R J.
Barrett, Marcus Morris, Julius Randle, Julius Randle and Taj Gibson.
Oh, for the Philadelphia 76 is you got Ben Simmons, Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris and Al Horford, and you got Joel Joel Embiid as the starting center.
You look at this lineup, man, and it's a tough line up for the Knicks to deal with.
Tough lineup for the Knicks.
Deal with number one because you got Ben Simmons out there, Ben said.
This is a 6 10 point guard that makes him huge right off the bat.
That gives you a this match in your lineup, right off the bat right from Jump Street.
Because Ben, sit Mrs 6 10 at point guard.
Hi, Josh Richardson.
I think it's 652 bias heirs or 6768 hour hole for his 696 10 Jolan beaters, like seven foot.
So right off the bag, you have some lineup issues.
You gotta figure out who's gonna defend Ben Simmons and that right there is the problem for every team that's in the league.
And, you know, we had some debate in the last episode, the last show, the last live stream as to who should guard Ben Sim.
It's all right, Nate seems to think it should be Frank Miller. Akina.
Big time that you a, uh to May Frank Miller.
Kina Frankly, Latina guards Ben Simmons.
Ben Simmons is going to post up Frank Miller Kilo every time down the floor.
That's what I would do if I was the coach.
I would post up front, allocated every time down the floor.
Men say Mrs 6 10 £240.
There's no way that Frank Miller Kita R J.
Barrett it's gonna be able to deal with Ben Simmons in the post.
So, in my opinion, you can't have frankly looking a garden.
Ben Simmons, right? So when you look at this scream and you see that matchup that's on the screen, you know you are at least position wise.
You see what's on the screen.
These guys are gonna be garden, these players.
Okay, so what I would do, I would have Marcus Morris Garden, Ben Simmons All right, Marcus Moors of 68 Ben Simmons and 6 10 The size match up is a little bit better.
Marcus Morris is definitely stronger.
The Frank Miller Kita I said, That's the first thing that I would do.
I would have Marcus Moore's Garden.
Barrett guard Josh Richardson.
I have Frank Miller, Kina guard Tobias Harris.
Now you got Taj Gibson, Congar Joel and Beat and Julius Randle can guard Al Horford.
I think that makes the matchups a little bit better right now.
What you do have to worry about is that Ben Simmons might be able to take Marcus Morris off the dribble.
I understand that.
And it makes a lot of sense right that he would be able to take Marcus Morris off the Jill.
But I think you know, from the time that I've been watching Marcus Morris, I think he's done a good job.
Offending guards on the perimeter when he's been forced to.
Now Ben Simmons is not doesn't have the same speed as a Colin ***ton, but he doesn't have the same speed as those guys.
So I'm not as concerned with Marcus Morris Garden Ben Simmons out on the perimeter.
I think that he'll be able to do a decent job.
Ben Simmons is not gonna be able to post up Marcus Morris right now.
Well, I'll get into that later because you know, there's a strategy that I'd like to use against Ben Simmons.
And a lot of that is gonna depend on whose garden.
So at times I would like to see Frank Miller Kid and Garden Ben Simmons, but I will tell you why jointly.
So once again, you got Frank Delicata, R J.
Barrett markets Moore's Julius Randle Times, Gibson.
If it's 76 is you got bed.
Sit ms dot so interesting to bystanders, Al Horford and you're well and beat.
All right, let's let's Ah, let's move on.
Look at the team comparison at the moment and this is wrong and 76 is there.
Not for 8 to 76 is a more like eight and five.
So let me go ahead and switch stand up right now to make sure that we got all the right information up there.
All right, Excuse me for my Gaff.
76 is at eight and five on the season, the Knicks of four in 10.
Both teams have a one game win streak.
If you want to call that a win streak, both teams have a one game win streak going on right now.
All right, the next just had a big win.
In my opinion, it was a big win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, a team that the Philadelphia 76 is blew out just before we play that and the next one a blowout fashion.
So that's that's a positive.
We want to blow our fashion over team that if we expect to be, you know, somewhere around the eighth seed of contending for the eighth seed.
At some point during this season, we should be blowing out teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The next average 101.
8 points per game.
Their opponents averaged one of 8.
9 points per game.
And guess what, ladies and gentlemen, that 108.
9 that opponents score gets the Knicks.
That's 13th in the league.
That's the 13th best in the league.
That's not bad that a defense of rating is 19th as you see them at the bottom of your screen.
But that opponents points per game.
It could get better and might get better.
But it's not bad.
4% from the field, 35.
They grabbed 46.
1 assists per game in that turn over that turnover numbers going down, going down every gate, the 15.
4 turnovers per game, then it's offensive rating is one of three.
Hey, it's 28th in the league, but that's up to notches because they were 30th in the league that would last in the league in office of waiting.
It's gone up a couple notches to stay.
Score 120 points against the caps.
The next defensive rating is 1 10.
1 as 19th in the league.
The Philadelphia 76 is the average 109.
8 points per game.
Opponents averaged 106.7.
1% from the field, 34.
1% from 3 46.8%.
They grab 40 the average 46.
8 rebounds per game.
Yeah, 26 assists the higher eternal 70.
So we we might be able to take advantage of those turnovers.
We take care of the basketball and take advantage of their turnovers.
You know, that could be a good recipe to compete.
Well, it's the 76 is the offensive rating is one of 6.
7 as 19th in the league.
The defense of waiting is one of 3.
6 that's 10th in the league to the decent defensive team.
We're gonna have to be on point taking care of the basketball.
Gonna be on point moving the basketball.
We'll talk about that in our keys, it's look, it's a key matchups.
The first key matchup is Ben Simmons.
You see, I don't have anybody there because it's going to depend on who coach Fizdale has guarding Ben Simmons.
I whoever is guarding Ben Simmons, that's That's one of the key matchups of the game.
Because Ben Simmons is a he is.
The engine for that team is the engine.
7 points per game, six rebounds per game, 7.
1 assistant game and 2.
3 steals per game shooting 56.
9% for the field.
Most of that is that the cover go into the basket posting up.
Threes is Europa 73 So now we gotta figure out how to be guarded, right? How do we gotta We gotta be smart with the way that regard him right? So the key matchup with Mason, Mrs.
Whoever's guarding him now, one of the things that I like to do what Ben Simmons is make him become stop him from facilitated, make him become a score.
There's ways to do that.
You can have Marcus Morris push up on them a little bit, because if Marcus Morris backs up, he's not gonna.
He's not going to shoot right.
Marcus Moore's backs up gives us of space.
He's not gonna shoot.
He's not gonna shoot.
It's gonna facilitate.
It's gonna look to get everybody else involved one of the ways.
Maybe have Marcus Morris push up, make him go to the Cup when he goes to when he puts the ball on the floor, goes to the Cup, sent a double team on his way as soon as he hits that floor.
Joel two, dribbles that second job, but he's making his move and he no, he's gathering to go up, send their double T.
But we gotta be smart to be able to get back out.
Whoever you double teamed off will be able to get back out to that person.
You're not gonna double team over to Bias airs because he could knock down threes.
He has a bit shooting well, this season, I think like 25% from three or something like that.
But you'll get hot.
Trust me, it'll change.
You're not gonna want to leave Joel and be so you're not gonna double with Taj Gibson or Mitchell Robinson it's gonna be.
Could knock it down from three.
Right? So you're gonna have to find some other way some creative ways to double team if you're gonna double team.
But I'd like to try toe, make him become, ah, score.
Press up on him a little bit, make him go to the basket.
Said the double team.
A late double t that way, you know, now he has to make a decision while it's in the air.
Do I pass it? The wife shooting.
All right, stop it and what that does.
And although he may still pass it, it stops him from being able to sit out there with the defenders, stay way back and facilitate.
Make the offense move.
I know there's gonna be some people that disagree with me, so people are going to say no, Lay back and let him shoot.
But guess what? He's not gonna shoot.
I don't think he's gonna shoot. He's gonna facility.
He's used to people stepping back off for him, right? He knows how to operate when people step back off another way, try to make him a score is from time to time.
Put Frank Miller keen on him from time to time.
Make him go down into the post.
You don't want to do it all the time because he'll begin to take advantage of, frankly, Latina from time to time.
Put him in the post from time to time.
Put Frank Miller, keen on Made Sam Is will go down into the post.
He'll become a score instead of a facilitator.
I like to keep him to four forces.
I could much easier said than done.
Much easier said than done.
That's what you know.
That's one of the keys.
That's what I'd like to do.
Uh, you try to do with Ben Simmons to stop him from facilitating Stop him from getting everybody else involved.
Much easier said than done, though it was not an easy task.
The guy, I hope.
Then the next key matchup.
Joel Embiid, seven foot, £249 It, uh, Then you got tired and Mitch and you see, I got tired and mix up there and I misspelled combined, you know, saying, you know, let me go ahead and fix that. There you go.
These two guys are going to share time on Joel Embiid, I charge.
And Mitch, they're gonna share time Mija wannabe.
Now, you're not gonna be able to stop it with just one person.
All right? You're not just gonna say Mitch, Go ahead.
You go out there, stop Wallaby because you're strong in the post and he can take it out to the perimeter.
You see, he shoots 38.
So it's gotta be both of these guys working together.
There's a Mitch is gonna pick up some fouls Todd's.
He could be smart, right? But I'd like to see Fizdale use Mitchell Robertson on Joel Embiid as well, giving different looks you want to beat Averages 22.
9 points per game, 11.4 rebounds.
9 assists per game, 1.
4 blocks per game.
He shoots the ball 49.
46 point 9% from the field, 38.
He could take it out to the perimeter.
Right? See, that's what Taj Gibson comes in.
And of course, the Philadelphia 76 is they're going to, uh, you know, they're not just gonna Whatever weakness.
The opposing player has their going to utilize, right? So with Mitch, they make you know what Mitch they can do.
Either they may bring him out to the perimeter.
They may try toe postal.
Well, Mitch has some length that may be able to disturb do well and be And, of course, Taj Gibson.
He'll be able to cover him out on the perimeter.
It should be able to cover Mt on the perimeter some, too, because it's not like he's gonna be super fast taking you off the dribble, at least in the past.
Maybe he's changed that.
Maybe something he's worked on, I don't know, but usually is not gonna be super fast trying to take you off the dribble on the perimeter.
It's gonna be super jump shots, and Mitch is pretty decent.
I'm getting out on those three point shooters, but Taj and Mitch combined average 60.
5 points per game.
Let me 0.4 rebounds per game.
8 assists per game in two blocks per game.
3% Excuse me, 62.
2% from the field and they don't they really don't tip three point shots.
Tides can shoot it and hit it.
They usually don't attempt.
So this is going to be key to me, you know, seeing the way that we use Rachel Robinson and tired skips and against Joel and Beat.
And I'm pretty sure, uh, Coach Fields, Dale's gonna use him zone tonight is, well, pretty sure he will, especially with a guy like Ben Simmons who does not shoot threes.
That's one way that you can.
It is one way that you can try to nullify him for being a distributor, right? Because when you use the zone, it cuts off some of your, um, you know, it cuts off some of your ah cutters and slashes to the basket right, Which is going to be good from negating our nullifying Ben Simmons as a distributor in a facilitator.
Hey, I would use Sum's old tonight, but a simple fact that Ben Simmons is not a shooter.
Ah Jo Ellan Beat is shooting well for the three point line, but but your homeboy Tobias Harris, he's not shooting well for the three point line.
That's something that I would do so let's get to my keys to the gate.
All right, The first key to the ladies and gentlemen, it is time to step up.
How is that a key to the game? Well, because the Knicks need to come out with that urge to see no one that okay there in the big leagues.
Now, we've had the easiest.
The easiest, uh, scheduling the lead so far.
Yeah, well, coming into a stretch of the season, Well, we may have the toughest schedule now.
Of course, some of those teams are playing as well saying, Antonio Golden State Portland.
But it's time for the Knicks to step up and be able to play this schedule.
It be focused and ready.
The plate is tough schedule.
That's the number one.
You gotta be ready. Be focused. Be ready.
Be on point number two.
Utilize Randall like they did verse two calves.
How did they do that? Well, it did have him handling the ball some, but it was mostly Randall who is making better decisions with the ball.
He's the one person that has the size and a body to be ableto compete athletically.
I don't want to say one person, but he's one of the guys on the team that has the size and the body and strength and the power and speed to compete athletically with some of the guys on the 76.
Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons.
He has those tools, but we need him to play the way that he played in.
Leave Lee or verse cleanly, and I don't mean scoring 30 points.
He may not, but I mean being patient, taking what's given to him and when it's time for him to go, he goes and he goes hard.
He doesn't waste time looking at thinking he goes and he attacks it right.
That's what we need from Julius Randle tonight.
A lot of what we've seen in Cleveland or burst cleanly.
A lot of that seems like he's getting it.
It's understanding it will see if he can double it up.
Can he do it again? That's always the challenge.
But can he do it again? We'll see tonight because he's gonna have the task of it's gonna have Al Horford autumn out.
Hopefully, it's a decent defender.
It's not gonna be easy for Julius Raylan to just post them up with score at will in the post, right? But Al Horford is, you know he's not gonna be the best.
Ah, defender on the perimeter.
So you'll be able to get Julius Randle in the move off for cuts and slashes from the perimeter, fromthe wing slashing and cutting to the basket, fighting them, you know, use his speed against our whole foot.
And I don't mean his speed as Faras getting about juggling past him, but his feet, his speed as far as cutting past him, slashing past him, get him going downhill.
When when Julie, if we're on a fast break it.
Julius Randle channeling the plate right down the middle of the lane.
Speed boom! Hit him. He goes up.
That's what we want to do with Julius Randle and use his speed against Al Horford.
But it doesn't have to be that he's dribbling past him.
He could be cutting a slashing past, keep the ball moving.
All right, Any team that you played, not just the 76 for any team that you play.
If you keep the ball moving, you're helping your making a play defense.
You making tires, you make you make the legs tired by a UC.
If you bought the ball is moving, then all of sudden on defense, the opposing team, they've gotta have some attention to detail.
They've got to be able to play defense for 24 seconds or however long you're gonna hold the basketball.
But it caused causes them to have to think on the defensive end, makes him work, makes him work them on, tires him out a little bit.
We've got to make these guys work on the defensive here.
We got to keep the ball moving.
All right, make.
Cem is a non facilitator.
I talked about this earlier.
I want to make him a non facilitator.
I don't want him instructing it, moving everybody around and getting the ball wherever he wants to get the ball.
If we place him zone, we may be able to nullify that.
All right, he'll be moving the basketball, but there won't be a lot of cuts.
That would be a lot of screening.
Going to be, you know, kind of make them stand still.
You know he's not a jump shooter, but he's not gonna shoot a ton of jump shots Tobias Harris isn't really hitting his jump shot, and at least he's not hitting three s.
So I placed him zone and mix it up the way that Fizdale has been doing.
I see if we can utilize.
Benson is not being able to hit that three.
I tried to make him try to nullify him.
Not only will it nullify him for being a facilitator, and I know some people going to say is gonna make a more of a facilitator because it's not as much pressure you'll be able to see the floor.
But guys won't be moving and cutting.
It kind of be standing still, right, So there's not.
There's nothing for him to really facilitate.
It's gonna make him think I have to try to figure out what to do.
I said we can cut down on some of that facilitation by bed.
Simmons also, like I said, get him in position where he's gonna be forced to try to score the ball.
I just backing off and see if he's going to shoot it because is used to that pushing up a little bit, making me try to go past you, send a double team when he gets it.
When he gathers to go up to the room, Maybe put frankly, locator R.
J Barrett all them try to force him to go in the post.
You might give up a point here.
There, Right here.
You might give up a bucket of something like that.
But if you could force him to be a score instead of, ah, facilitator, I think it's gonna be better for the Knicks.
Almost say, where were they? Will look a Dodge even know Lucas still had 10 points.
I mean, 10 assists had a triple double, you know, we were really forcing him to shoot the ball a lot.
No, Frankly, Lucchino put a lot of pressure on a fragment.
Uh, look a dark.
Church and its limits.
They might play some similar games.
Luca obviously is a better scorer.
Yeah, but the difference is, this difference in size is there.
Have you put Frank out of the whole game? It's gonna be a lot of posting that we only want a little bit.
You're only allowed one a little bit.
We gotta hit the glass.
These guys average 46.
8 rebounds per game.
The Knicks of 46.6.
We got to hit the glass, rebound the basketball.
Don't let him dominate the glass.
All right? We're not gonna shoot.
Well, we'll see.
Maybe what? Maybe our shooting is beginning to change, right? But we gotta hit the glass, take care of basketball.
Those two things are always important to me.
Hit the glass and take care of the basketball.
It nullifies fast break points.
And if you're not a good shooting team and you can hit that offensive glass the Knicks on the best in the league Ah, they are the top team in second chance points.
Partly because we're not a good shooting team.
But we gotta hit the glass, take care of the basketball can.
Ah, we can nullify weaken the gate.
We avoid out fast break points.
That's what we wanted.
Those are my keys to the game.
Ladies and gentlemen, those are my keys.
I don't know of you.
I hope that you do, But you can give me a call.
Hopefully, everything is working.
But enough for you to give me a call.
if you want to give me a call, I have 164 or 5 to 246 Give me a call.
You could tell me what your keys are to the game.
But you think the next need to do to win this game? If anybody wants to join in the appearance, you can feel free to join it.
I'd like to get your keys to the game.
I were not the appear, right.
I'm sorry whereby dot com slash NBK All right.
And you can ah, you know, you can go ahead and it's ship.
Get your piece in and let me know what you feel.
Are your keys to the gate.
A big shout out to you guys for joining me in the chat.
Like I said, I hope I hope that you having a good day so far.
You know, um, you may all see you says it might be too worried about Simmons.
I am worried about Ben Simmons.
I'm definitely worried about Ben Simmons because I feel like Ben Simmons could do, um, a lot.
He can do a lot.
You could do a lot, you know, He could take it inside.
You could facilitate.
You can go to the cup.
The one thing you can't do right now is shoot, you know? But he is the engine that makes them go.
That's the reason why.
You know, I'm so concerned about Ben Simmons because he's the guy that really makes them go.
You know, he's a facilitator.
He's the leader out there on the floor.
And if you can cut the snake off at the head, you're gonna win.
Just about every time.
Let me try to get to a phone call here.
Do we do call your lab another one? Next was popular.
Hello? Okay, maybe I'm not getting there. Okay.
Call him if we get this thing going.
Carla, can you hear me? Hello? Here we go.
What was going on with you, my man? I'm good, man.
How you feeling? Uh, yeah.
Can you hear me? Yeah. Kind of breaking up.
A little bit of getting out of Okay. Good.
That was going on with you, man.
Just didn't ready for this gang and ready to work.
You know, uh, one time in on a couple of keys.
I feel like we should do tonight.
Okay? I think we should try her.
Maybe, uh, you run a known as well my question to you right now.
What do you think about running like a I got boxing one like a one t two zone.
Uh uh, the senate as well.
Let it be in that way, we could, you know, throw a couple of different bodies out there on Simmons such as Morris, And you know, no Latina and bury it, but still have, you know, the zone toe to get back on, be sniffin help big Horford in and beat her.
You know of amount.
There s So you said running 1 to 2.
Oh, I want Yeah.
No, Listen, I I like that right.
I ran a 1 to 2 last night and a matter of fact, we ran a 1 to 2 with it with this young lady who, uh, it was their first basketball game.
First varsity basketball game ever.
But she's a heck of a feather.
I mean, she just puts pressure on the ball like eyes crazy, and they want to to It was so effective because she put so much pressure on the ball.
She was able to nullify the ball handler.
That ball handle was the best three point shooter as well.
He was able to nullify her, Uh, just negate everything that she was doing.
Because the pressure on defense, that's definitely something that you can do.
I think Ben Simmons.
You know it That And that's where you can have If you're running a 1 to 2, you have frank about it.
Stop putting that pressure on Ben Simmons.
Right, Uh, forced him to get the ball out of his hands and didn't see where he moved.
You know, see where he moves to.
He's gonna move somewhere, but that can help.
You know, that could definitely be a good strategy.
You know, there's a lot of people that don't like Yep.
I feel my way will be good to it as well.
You can use the downtime.
It's really not have to worry about then, but, you know, make them move around.
You stay on the perimeter, you know, bread anymore.
And then when he passed, you go help somewhere both dig down.
You know, big and the clothes you know, double team or whatever.
I feel like that.
The best chance, you know, not let them in. Just bully.
Are are Argh! Are the hard part? Get in trouble if Filipina very get in trouble.
What APPA brother docked in our career are you know, they're They're They're way smaller.
Very good, milady.
We'll definitely have problems, right? I have to try to keep our guard out of foul trouble.
Our our big guards out of foul trouble, Right? And I see Guillermo just actually chat.
Gamble just asked in the chat.
Didn't need a boxing one.
I mean, I don't I don't really mean a box.
I don't want to act that.
You did say boxing one.
I kind of think that a kind of think that the, um uh, just running the 1 to 2 would be better than a box of one, because then you still have, you know, you could still have Frank, Frank.
Oh, whoever you have at the top of the one to to put pressure on him at the top of the key.
And then if he does cut and trying to post him up at some point, you still got Biggs down.
They're that able to deal with him down in the post, you know, three.
No, I mean, I think that could be a great strategy.
How do you think? How do you think? Who do you think it should? It's raw.
Should be gone in to eat tonight.
You think it should be taught to get I believe? I think I think that charge in Mitch, I think Taj, uh, admit should home.
I think they should share the duties.
Are Joe Wallaby? Yeah.
Yeah, I think they should share the duties, You know, that way you give him a few different looks, you know? Uh huh.
You give and then want working. One more thing.
There's no other college.
How do you think, Uh, what do you think about energy level like lately like that? That's my whole I don't care how many points, fours or what he does.
His energy level, Phil about it, energy level on his activity on the court, after like the last game was probably his best game.
But then, like I'm not like in the second half, he kind of like legs back unless I feel like like third quarter.
He I don't know.
I think I missed whose.
Whose energy level did you say? Whose energy level.
They let it get Julius Randle.
Oh, Julius Randle.
Julius Randle. 11 Infected.
Um, I still think Julius Randle has some habits.
Said he's got a break.
You know, we would take it with relaxing on, please.
You know, you see plays and that takes him off.
You know? Say even when he has good energy, it still plays where he takes it off on the defensive end.
Look, if you're gonna take a play off, take it off on the office of side, Right? That's how I feel.
You gotta take a play off.
Take it off on Officer side.
Never on the defensive side.
I feel like he takes place off on a decrease of side sometimes.
Yeah, you can feel like, Okay, if you can take a break on the offense A psych and you can just give the ball up are you know, those fans stand in the corner, you know? But even if you have to always be interred, you can't give a point Or are you no lecture teammate inmate down on an assignment on the rotation.
So I just feel like, you know, his His energy level is not always there like his activity.
Like I feel like I don't know.
I always thought he was more inner.
I thought he had more, uh, 70 than that.
Maybe it's because he's, you know, our so called Ben Star player or not.
You know, I'm just looking at him, You know, every play now, right? Right.
I've always had with him and I can't figure it out because But he'll show glimpses.
Other worlds grab bull well, but then other times we won't I don't know.
Yeah, and I think that's the point.
I think that's a big part of it.
Like you just said, we're paying way more attention to Julius Randle because he is supposed to be that guy paying way more attention to our little intricacies of his game and probably in the past.
Right now we're seeing all the little you know exactly exactly every detail.
You can see every detail every flaw because I feel like, you know, honestly, I feel like you run a good system for him to let him get all to do its thing on offense.
I just don't see sometimes I don't see the energy, the energy level there, even on offense.
Like the want like last name.
I've seen it like he he wanted to score.
He wanted to get the boy like sometimes I don't see him.
Want to get the I don't know.
I feel you e times when the star players get the black, you know? And we were down 12.
When we need a bucket, I wanna see Randall call for the book.
I don't make it or miss it, but I want to see you take that.
You know that initiative and take that, you know, show that effort.
No, but I'll let you go.
Yeah, I appreciate the call, man.
Let me appreciate the call.
Look forward here for you later on tonight.
I later we got any in the chat man.
I'ma get Thio One more, call them and get the Andy The number I gotta get.
I gotta film session Thio today about 3 45 I've got to get to So get to this caller.
You're live another, but next was popping them.
Let's go with you, bro.
How you feeling? I'm feeling good family, you know, another day, Another wait to see what? Tonight on the floor.
Uh, added quite.
I haven't called in in a minute because my emotions have been roller coaster with team. I could change.
Have you already? I'm so admissible, disgusted with team, but, you know, way Knicksbench through and through.
So we still got a ride, right? Of course.
You know I get you, man, it's been a roller coaster ride.
You know, you see glimpses.
You see things you like. Okay.
You know, it looks like they could do something that all of a sudden they, you know, they don't egg out there, you know, saying, but, you know, for me Oh, it's against the most this heartening things that I've seen so far with teen.
And we talked about this, you know, during the summer, I really wanted Julius Randle here, right? I mean, you talk.
I mean, you talk and I was like, you know, big big boy, big, tough, rough.
And for good minute, he looked like a bull in the China shop, you know, And I'm like, is the is the coaching.
They're not able to get him to understand, like way needs to be on the floor.
And it was, you know, all of the games, all of the games.
Except for the Cleveland game.
We just seem to find it's like that.
They used him improperly and him bringing up the ball.
And, you know, one.
The offense bribes me crazy when I see him.
And don't when I see him in that mold, I'm like, Dude, I was trouble till one day The day I said, Julius Randall is not a good passage.
Julius Randle is a willing packet is a difference.
True, they drew is unselfish.
But at times, when he gets the ball over a dozen he wants to do with and one thing with the with the duck with the dribble and the distant debt I'm like But are you a breaker? Sit him down.
That's my one thing with this deal.
Eat what you kill that Will you eat what you kill and I would see And I know you wanna you wanna, you know, pep up his confidence.
So called What? What better than to run the message or give the message by sitting him down when he's doing too much, right? I mean, listen, we've seen the same thing with fish there last year with Tim Hardaway, you know, saying, uh you know he's not gonna do it.
Not gonna do it.
What? Glad do know you.
This is for your survival.
Okay, because none of them over there, none of them from top down could be sleeping good at night with this team.
Hey, if it means your survival and for you to be able to get, you know, a certain level off consistent, efficient play, especially especially from the dude who you gave the most money too.
It's not like it's not like I'm trying to, you know, make Julius Randle into something that he's not the star.
One of whatever.
You know, I was never on that, you know? All star this that No, come in.
Come do your job, rebound the ball comes school like I we need you to score.
You know, when we need you to score and let's go from there.
You see what I'm saying? It's like a love this, you know, so many things that they put in his head before that, you know, Can you being all also Can you that not Can you survive? So, Jenny, where? Okay, yeah, I mean, but But but But I will say, you know, he played a decent game last game.
And not just because you scored 30 but you know, his ability, Thio He was getting the ball in his hands sooner.
Right? Uh, you know, he didn't force it into, you know, he didn't just force it because, you know, what a lot of teams were doing with Julius Randle is you get the ball, they take a couple dribbles, and then they sent in late double team.
So he was, you know, he'd get the ball and said, You know what? I don't really have the laid.
I'm gonna get it out, get it out my hands.
They did a much better job, but that in the last game was the cash, you know, But of course, it's easier to do that when your shots falling.
Right? When your shots falling, you already got 25 26 points.
It's easy to say.
Okay, I'm gonna get the ball out.
But where the shots not falling? You know shooting as well.
Now you feel like, you know, some people might feel like, Oh, I got to go get me a bucket because I'm not scoring.
I'm not doing this. I'm not doing that.
Look, you know, we'll see.
We'll see if you can continue to keep it up.
I know it's something he's been working on.
That's what he said.
I totally hope so.
You know, I really hope so because I can't live you.
I've never wanted to trade a man out of this city faster than Julia.
I have been on the ring because I have been quality Schmidt, everything but a child of God.
Look, what what is going on him like the dribble handoff.
And I didn't see it as much in the Queen's in game driving me crazy rising.
Unlike Dude, do you not think the other team has been scouting the dribble, handoff and watching and knowing that won't the guy who's heading off the ball? He's got an offensive threat in the initial procedures, like it's easy that it's easy to put hands in the lane, not balls away.
If you're going, if you're going, you know side to side instead of going north yourself, will you? Yeah.
I like what I saw out of them.
I know Cleveland, but you know what? We don't give wins back.
We don't give wins back, you know, hopefully, you know, it stays the same.
I'm not listening.
And I noticed your boy.
I'm I'm I'm almost out of patience with Chase Bank of Chances in the second gate of league.
You know, if the FBI has gotta have a breakout gay fact nights might have a breakout game tonight.
And me and one of my guys argued about this, and he's he's feeling things.
You do this my thing with knock.
I shouldn't have, Like the fire on the film.
I did think I get it.
What else? What? The effort of the energy that has that should be the off.
I get it. I get it.
Um, this might be the game that's might have a good game tonight.
He's been he has been here, and he might have a good one tonight.
You know, we said we see it was going to go on.
You know you might have a good one today.
I want to get some a man Andy in a chat.
Uh, Andy was going on with you, man.
The head of by the heads.
I gotta fill obsession of mobile lead to it.
Yeah. There we go.
What's going on, Andy? Yeah, I'm gonna make a shortcut.
I know you've got your late That it? The call they were stopping I know are back.
So So, you know, I water him once in my view, your point to win the game.
And you know, the deficits, I would add Ah, huge thing that our baby could stay on the ground around MT.
As we know, working depends so much that the guards were gonna leave the ground and going to get those foul calls on them.
And as you said, I think we need to juggle the defense's see what works and you know, not only versus Simmons it's gonna be the whole team effort for them as well.
So we gotta juggle death from song too.
Man to man even know and switching and not switching and stuff.
I got tried everything and throw everyone after, you know, versus Simmons so he can catch up and think no ahead of the play, what he's going to be doing and stuff like that.
And I'm really curious how it's gonna work this out.
Frank's gonna some Simmons.
What? No one by what? Maybe not bothers me.
Just I'm afraid of pumping because we got a couple of wins, But, uh, when we got those wins, I still didn't see a thing like a really, really good game of basketball.
We just grind it out on.
But w may be the last game a little bit better about I still didn't see.
It was more like me.
The caf about had a bad game then.
Then we had a really, really good and we could No, on this day is something we have a game like that on this day.
Consider you would be anything you know, and then gate.
But I still didn't see that game come from Lex.
And I realized that it was a better game, you know, versus the cavern.
But I think it was more of a caf having clearly backing and I think a great one.
um, you know that That could be You know it.
We'll see tonight.
And, you know, everything doesn't have to be about a win.
If we could just perform well, Yeah, exactly.
That you stay competitive, you know, don't get blown up because that really fat.
For for the morale in and for for for the fans, man, that the fact that they take this, this this organization of France is really, really hard.
And you see it from year to year.
No wins where when the social media came on, man that did this organization can't get a break, man.
It's important getting bad.
And we're going to fire the coach and you get the w and relax. Okay.
You got 11 game, you know, off, you know, occurred so you can stay off for this one game.
But if you lose it, you're still gonna be fired.
So defensive crazy about Brian.
And I think that's the organization in the front office.
So the fans every year born more than they get, you know that they're sticking to it.
They don't like it like no back in the day that whatever the next? No.
Prayed that they knew They're gonna be no, the full full of MSG.
It is gonna be full still.
But you know, the whistles, the ****s are gonna come really, really soon in the season.
So I don't think, you know, we can get bamboozled by that for many more years.
Yeah, I feel you, man.
So, what do you think? Do we get the win, man? I hope so.
But like I said, man, I'm not different to make any more wins this season.
Everyone early. And that's right.
I think that this man could get 500.
I'm gonna let you go, man.
All right? Because I got to get out of here.
I talk to you later.
Have a good one.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, and what I'm gonna do is I'm going to finish this off and let this ride out with a, uh, just listen to what the courts Fizdale has to say about this game.
Ah, and you know, this is what it's gonna be the last thing that you hear, Ladies, gentlemen.
And then all right, off into the sunset and I let you listen to boats Fizdale as I ride off into the sunset.
Ghostface There, ladies and gentlemen.
So same lineup, obviously, Yeah.
Do you like that? Maybe signing up.
Grab some rotations and the fact that we've been I just feel like the last three guys with more consistently.
I think it helps down, down to kind of get into a role and get into a groove said, Nothing's ever in stone, but for us right now that actually have you know where a guy that starting to kind of get comfortable in starting place.
I think it's a good thing I didn't I didn't realize how good a reminder he was.
You know, that's what I said the other night.
When we played, I think it was his Dallas.
He didn't play that great offensively, right? I was so you couldn't even score.
If you go back to watch the fourth quarter, you got every rebound.
So that's why I said, I just love the kid because he is always engaged in trying to win the game.
And it's not just about him being a score or playmaker ended at.
He's always doing something to try to help you can.
You got a feel for the game and it's free.
Those are getting better.
He's just solid, You know.
He's been through this a design as Faras Rodeo, you know, and he's comfortable in all of these roles.
Whether you planned you don't plan to start on, bring him off the bench.
He doesn't It doesn't matter that no, because he never gets messed up in the head.
But I think he does give that starting lineup of a sense of stability, you know? And he's also been fantastic for Mitch so that that relationship has been really worthwhile.
No, and I'm not overplaying.
I don't feel like I'm over plan of minutes wise way.
Always gonna be my father's body and take care of his body.
60 ability to defensively.
He just cc stuff ahead of time.
You know, that's what I said.
He's He's seen every action you're gonna throw out.
So it's not like he gets caught off guard or like, Oh, I've never seen that before, you know? You know, he's just been doing it for so long at such a high level defensively that I think you just trying to help you communicate things early.
I want a big weapon.
I'm not giving away company secrets, but it is It is, Ah, weapon for us, obviously, which is a super live threat.
We've just been working at it, just working at the fundamentals of how to get to the right place, how to throw the right past.
The timing of it.
The spacing around competition is proving a bit of help next time round looking forward.
So we're taking a one at a time.
But for him, it's not great.
With 11 straight playoff teams from last year, you know, Not that I don't look at any of these teams Azizi game, But when you know you're going into the belly of the beast, something for young kid, that's a test.
I remember meeting him out L A combine work, but I've never seen a player, young player, beam or communicated with the other place.
Is there something special about his communication skills and carrying? Absolutely.
It was It was when we met him foot before the draft on had our meeting with him.
I immediately just I like him immediately because of how he communicated what he talked about, what was important to him.
He's a very engaging and is high.
You know, he knows a little bit about everything on, but he's humble.
And so that's kind of guy that you want to be around.
And I think our guys really, really enjoy working with him.
Our veterans love spending time with, but he never acts like he's above anybody.
You wear some now it's fashion choices I'm not gonna get next about.
But that's not something I would particularly where.
But yeah, a few of them got some serious fashion stuff going on.
And I know him well.
I'm so happy for him.
I'm you know, he should be back on and I'm happy for him and he's on a playoff team, you know.
He's gonna get a chance.
Thio play playoff basketball again.
So I'm really happy for him.
And I wish him well.
What did he do? He started shooting.
Well, probably make something that probably done that.
Yeah, that's a tough, tough ass to just come fresh off off, off the off the pine and gelato endgame.
But he'll get his legs underneath him and you'll help that team win games.
Did you see him? Scrimmages? Whatever Took a pic of gang Berman pick up guys.
I mean, yeah, I was there.
Yeah, it was great.
And he actually, you know, he grabbed a couple of our young guys and was paying Is giving them pointers and stuff like that.
You know what I said? I got it.
I got a real affection for Melo.
All of those guys in that class.
I'm really close to that.
You know, the boss class, Wade, mellow all of those bron.
I'm close to all of those guys.
So to see him back crying, I think all of us are just really happy for you.
