Cem, Cem trashed Rose.
Is that what we've settled on? How we settle on trash troves? Yeah, but you were calling it Bang Gate.
I called it Bang Gate last year, but it's expanded.
That whistle gate doesn't really work, but he's going to get into that with the preview, the upcoming.
And actually, I'm pretty excited about this upcoming PBS special Dodger stories.
It's about all of the L A era and and it's a history thing.
So why not bring in the most historic man we know who started it? You let me talking ****.
That's not my intent.

But we don't need to get too much into that right now.
We do have another friend of the show Erickson was on the street.

He says he will always have a button that you always wait for the goat.
That's right. Now he's like, now to go.
I got to have a nice dinner out. Out.
So, first, guys, the biggest news in baseball.
We're gonna call it Trash Gate this week.
Ah, I don't know how much the both of y'all or anybody in here is paying attention.
There's any of you people on the stream.
I'm pretty sure you are.
Because it's definitely by far the biggest story in baseball in one of the top male stories in all of sports right now, but it's become a little wild.
I was gonna ask you, Is this one of the biggest scandals that you've seen in baseball? No, absolutely not.
Because cheating has gone on forever in baseball, and you go back to the old days.
Any player trying to get the edge.
It goes back to the equipment that goes back to trying to doctor the field.
In the early sixties, the Dodgers would manicure the infield to Taylor for Colfax and Drysdale.
Bats have been doctored.
It's just part of the game.
But the difference is now on not referring to the Astros in general, but because of technology.
Now you're gonna have the issue of How far do you want this to go? Because you can look at the 1951 playoffs with the Dodgers and Giants.
He was a big secret that came out 50 years later, that the Giants were using a buzzer system.
Yeah, and thinking about this, though.
You're Ralph Branca, you give up the home run to Bobby Thompson and then later, maybe about 10 years later, you heard that maybe the Giants were cheating with a buzzer system.
Now you're gonna say anything that's gonna look like sour g****s.
Bobby Thompson has become your friend.
And now what you're gonna say.
And so it was kind of like this unspoken thing.
And even when it came out, Josh Prager, The Wall Street Journal, wrote about it later in a in a book, the echoing green.
They never talked about it. They did.
Ralph didn't want to say that to Bobby.
It was just unspoken because they had become friends.
And that's the type thing that happens.
You see their regrets in sports when you've got world domination and you look at the 19 seventies and East Germany and the swimmers and there's the systematic way of cheating.
And the American swimmers Shirley Babashoff, all the people that are getting the bronze and silver medals seemed to have no chance.
Now, suddenly, 40 years later, they do the do***entaries.
The Babish Office of the World are still wondering, Why didn't they get their fair chance? But then the East Germans were thinking we didn't want to cheat.
That was something we had to go along with and you just wonder in general, a team.
How is this going to be looked at as faras? What they uncover? And I've always said You really just gotta worry about yourself a sw far as a team.
It's like that with the playoffs, it's like anything.
All you can do is control what you can worry about.
You can't worry about the umps, you can't worry about your opponent.
And so this is not really a Dodger issue.
It's something that's always happened, and it's a major league baseball issue.
And it is for all sports as faras technology.
When you've got Apple, watch here and you've got all this other bells and whistles.
And as the old man historian, you know, I'm sure there's tons of technologies that I have absolutely no idea about, and you're going to say to yourself, Okay, as a society, what do we want? You know, look at all the areas as faras getting kids into college, wink, wink and setting people up.
There's cheating everywhere, But But as a society, what do you want? How are you going to feel? And it's the old question about what if you find
