I went to bed last night.
Pats Nation excited.
I went to bed last night, pumped up.
The New England Patriots were nine and one.
They went to Philadelphia.
Hostile territory, Bad weather conditions.
Coming awful loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens beat the Texans.
If the Patriots want to keep control of the A F C, it's a must win.
They win the game.
And I'm just celebrating.
Oh, yeah, How do we feel All that kind of good stuff on Lee toe? Wake up this morning to look at a barrage of tweets in YouTube comments of people just frustrated, done upset through with the Patriots offense.
And a part of me gets it, Guys, I get it.
Patriot Fans of frustrated hell, Tom Brady is frustrated.
How often do we see Tom Brady upset after a victory? We've seen the Patriots offense not play well, and Tom Brady come out and say, It just feels good to get a win.
You know we'll win is a win. We're nine and one.
Whatever record they are at that point, we're gonna, you know, fix what we couldn't do today and we're gonna go forward.
Tom Brady looked exhausted after yesterday's game.
He looked frustrated.
He looked finished.
I mean, here was his quote.
They asked Tom Brady, How can you explain what's going on with the Patriots offense right now? He said, quote, up and down.
That's what it looks like to me.
We could probably do everything better.
What's going on, everybody? It's your boy, Ray.
And welcome to my little show here on D P N.
All right, guys.
So let's let's talk about this for a minute, okay? Yes, the Patriots offense has not been clicking on all cylinders, but there's a whole lot of cir***stances around why it hasn't been happening.
And it's only November.
The Patriots talk about it all the time.
Football season starts after Thanksgiving, so we still got a couple of weeks until the Patriots offense is in full gear.
I cannot believe the reaction.
The Patriots are never gonna win the Super Bowl like this.
Patriot fans relax.
They will get it together.
They will figure it out.
Just look at everything that's happened this season.
Let's start from the let's start from the start.
Let's go all the way back to March 1 of Tom Brady's favorite targets.
Quite possibly the most devastating player we've ever had on the Patriots.
His impact when he played was amazing.
Rob Gronkowski retires throughout the course of the season, going back to camp, going back to the pre season going back to are now in the current season, we've had to deal with Maurice Harris, Dontrelle Inman, Braxton Barrios.
Then you fast forward to the season starting going into Week one when they played the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, we thought the following a couple of games with guys got healthy.
The Patriots were gonna feel the team that included De Marius Thomas, Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon.
Here we are, after week, a weapon, Yes, Week 11 and the Patriots have Julian Edelman.
They've added Mohammed Sunu Nikkila.
Harry returns from his injury, where he's missed half of the season.
You have Philip Door set in Jacoby Meyers that I say Julian Edelman hopeful, said Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon.
Not on the team.
Not on the team, to Marius Thomas, not on the team, and it is what it is.
And yet the Patriots are nine and one nine and one guys weaves.
We've seen this Patriots offense struggle in September.
We've seen it struggle in October.
We've seen it struggle in November.
And let's face it, this Patriots offensive line has been absolutely atrocious.
But help is on the way.
Isaiah Win is finally coming off the I R.
When the Patriots hosted Dallas Cowboys, we will actually have somebody protecting Tom Brady's blindside Marshall Newhouse, Marshall, Outhouse, Whatever you want to call him.
The biggest liability in Patriots history is gone. Done.
The only person that's not gonna be a starter from, you know, a regular start on that line is Ted cares, and he's done an OK job, its center now.
His snaps are a little weak, sometimes a little low, but he's done a good job communicating.
He's not David Andrews, but he's done a formidable job.
Marshall Newhouse was not a formidable replacement for Isaiah.
Win me Mr Positive.
Finds everything positive to say about the Patriots.
I've been accused of being too big of a homer.
I've been accused of being up the Patriots ass talked to truth.
You're sugarcoating things even I could not find positive things to say about Newhouse.
Now we got all come together.
We gotta send positive energy for because we gotta pray that Isaiah Wind stays healthy and can go the regular the rest of the season because I've seen a lot of theories about what's happening with the entire offensive line.
Shack Mason hasn't had, you know this season that he's had the last couple of years, Marcus Cannon said.
A bounceback season, Joe to Nis, had his moments.
But one of the sea of theories that I saw, if you notice the whole line's changed after after Marshall.
Newhouse joined the team, and that makes total sense to me now.
I think the Patriots offensive line has been under so much pressure, especially the right side of the line, because they know that everybody's gonna blow through new House.
So what they do is they have so much pressure to keep Brady protected on the right side.
The run game has been atrocious, and a lot of that has to do the offensive line.
They can't run the ball to the left side any time anybody does.
Is Sony Michelle Rex Burkhead James White when they hand the ball the Julian Edelman.
When they hand the ball to Mohammed Sunu, they try to go to the left side.
They are met by people on the line of scrimmage every time I watch the play.
Yesterday, where the whole line went left, the whole line went for the shift.
Ted Carrots out there. Beautiful block.
Marshall Newhouse was blocking nobody.
So why do I keep harping on this? Because we don't have to deal with Marshall Newhouse anymore.
Isaiah Win is officially a New England Patriot again.
Isaiah Win will be protecting Tom Brady's blindside.
Remember how the running game looked weak to against the Dolphins? The Patriots can't throw the ball on every play that became so predictable.
That's why you can double team James White.
That's why when you see Soni Michelle, you can just stuff the line.
I say when his back is gonna open up the playbook.
They don't need gim**** plays like they had Ah, yesterday and Philly with Julian Edelman throwing the touch on.
It's great and got the job done.
They survived the worst of it, but we know what this Patriots team does it just grow and they build and they roll and they grow and they build and they get better and better as the season goes on.
And that's exactly what we're going to see.
We need to relax.
It's on Lee November.
It's on Lee November.
The offense is gonna come along.
Mohammed Sunu is gonna figure things out.
Edelman will be Edelman, you know, in the offenses that helped Tom Brady a little bit.
I don't believe that this is a decline for Brady.
Brady's been forced to throw the ball quickly, and when he makes passes, you gotta catch him.
Adam and dropped a touchdown in the end zone yesterday.
Julian Edelman makes that catch 10 out of 10 times and he drops it.
It's just been a snowball effect of bad things, but we saw some positives with Ben Watson yesterday.
Getting involved in a couple of plays, Matt Lacoste is back.
Perhaps they could get him a little involved.
He he could help with the blocking.
Don't forget, Mala cost is as big as Rob Gronkowski.
He's not as talented, but he's as big as Rob Gronkowski and if Scarnecchia can work with him and make him a blocker.
Think about how good that line can look.
Were nine and one.
We're gonna be okay.
What is happening? Everybody.
Everybody who came out today here live on SportsCastr.
Thank you to you watching this.
The replay on YouTube.
Make sure you don't go anywhere because I got a whole lot of stuff to talk about.
I want to talk about Bill Belichick trolling Lane Johnson.
I want to talk about how my expectations maybe loafer Nikkila Harry this season.
But I'm excited about watching the keel Harry going forward.
Stuff on Gilmore was all over Zach Ertz and he even said that he was crying during the game.
I want to talk a little bit about Sam Darnold, who apparently seems to be turning things around.
Maybe maybe I'll talk about why he's not.
And lastly, are the Texans actually contenders? Or they just pretenders because after that ass whipping on the weekend, you kind of got a question it don't you? And for everybody who is watching here on sports caster, do not forget.

As soon as I'm finished, I promise we will get going.
Thanks to everybody who joined me last night for the live stream Live played by Ray as we all got to celebrate together as I did my play by play and reaction of the Patriots winning Well, that being said, I have wasted enough of your time.
Let's get this started because here DP and we like football.
We like football season and everything that goes with it.
So I'm not going to spend too much time on this.
But I do want to talk about something, and it's not Patriots related, But it's an opportunity.
Something important came up today, and it's an opportunity to talk about it.
So I was lucky enough.
Too big, you know, connect with the guy on Twitter and his name is Rob, and he's a really, really solid guy.
And our connection sort of started when we were talking about, um, you know, just military stuff.
And I found out that his son was in the military and he was in basic training.
You gonna serve this country? And he put out a tweet today, and it just said, having a rough day inside my head, I don't have time to spend time being critical.
Ah, really tough patriots when missing my son.
And it's just been a **** rough day and s.
So we went back and forth a couple times, and I tried to be as supportive as I could on Twitter, but it always makes you remember that here we are discussing trivial things like the Patriots offense.
And are they good enough to win the Super Bowl and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah? When there's men and women in any country in the world, I know that you know the United States, their soldiers.
There's Canadian soldiers, Australian soldiers, every and obviously every other country in the world, their soldiers out there defending our freedoms so that I can come to you on SportsCastr and live in a free world.
And I can, you know, have a YouTube page and Aiken freely talk on Twitter, and we can also back in enjoy Patriot's games together.
Now I don't ask Pats Nation to do a whole lot.
Here's all I'm asking for you, though, and I didn't tell him I'm doing this.
He might get mad at me if if you are.
I'm sorry, Rob, but anybody asked Twitter, do me a favor.
His Twitter handle is at Iron Rooster 315 That's at Iron I r O N Rooster R o S T E r.
3 15 Show him some love.
Let's get together as a football family.
Just say hi let him know you're there for him.
I think we're all down.
You know, in a couple of weeks, a lot of you're gonna be sitting down with your families for Thanksgiving, and his son is not gonna be with him for Thanksgiving because he is dead.
You know, he's dedicating this part of his life to serving his country, and I think that we got to keep all of that kind of stuff in perspective as we go about things.
So I just want to touch on that.
Rob, if I, you know, you put it on Twitter, you made a public and if you didn't like it, I apologize.
But I just wanted to I just wanted to put it out there.
So make sure you show of my boy Robson love and just just help him through.
He needs some encouraging words right now and help him through this time.
All right, let's talk about something that hopefully make rob laugh.
Bill Belichick does not do anything, anything without it being thought out and planned.
Let me read you the quote during his press conference yesterday after the game, it says, quote, it was a really good team victory for us today.
I'm really proud of the way our guys competed.
They just went out there and they competed for 60 minutes.
I know we didn't get off to a great start, but we just kept battling and made plays in all three phases of the game.
We played for 60 minutes and played some good situational football and made plays that we needed to make toe win.
Big Dr Offensively, coming off a goal line in the fourth quarter, put our our defense in a good field position.
Defense played really well in the second quarter.
The players covered well, rushed well and they tackled really well.
They just did a good job.
It looked like everyone had fun out there today and we played a lot of good energy and it was good to come down here and get a win end quote.
Now, most of that quote sounded exactly like a built ballot checking.
But he added in it looked like everyone had fun out there today and I think everybody in Patriots nation knows exactly exactly who that was.
Johnson, who talked about the robotic no fun culture, the New England Patriots and I said it yesterday.
Who was having more fun? The Victoria's New England Patriots or the loser Philadelphia Eagles? And the fact that Lane Johnson's words got to build Bala check makes it that much better.
I love that Bill Belichick is trolling Lane Johnson, and I know Lane Johnson's out with a concussion.
There's certain people in this world.
I don't care what bad things happen to them.
And Lane Johnson is one of those guys on my list, and the fact that he was sitting there with a concussion being trolled by Bill Belichick was the greatest justice in the world, the guy who was obsessed with the New England Patriots for the entire off season after they won the Super Bowl, he decided not to listen to Teddy Bruschi, who said it takes more than dog masks and gim**** plays to win back to back Super Bowls.
And the Patriots were having fun because winning is fun and build ballot checks.
Humor this year.
I don't know if you guys have saw the stuff he's been talking about with the the snap face and all that stuff and you know his little piano calls or how he was just screwing with the NFL playbook when they're playing the Jets.
And he just kept taking delay games.
And you know that little bit of gamesmanship, Bill Ballot Shack has been showing just he's just been showing a lighter side, ahem thing, and I absolutely, positively love it.
And a lot of you know, a lot of Patriots were sort of trolling yesterday Patriots that you never suspect look at stuff on Gilmore, the best quarterback in the league, but probably the most soft spoken player in the Patriotslocker room.
You never expect him to trash talk or say anything bad about an opposing player, he says.
Not that kind of guy.
That just shows you how much the Eagles got under the Patriots player skin.
You're going into the game On Sunday, I said that the only thing the Patriots needed to do was neutralized.
Zach Ertz filly had injuries all over the place.
Jeffries was out.
You know, we know Jackson's out for the year.
They didn't have that much of a great attack that they could put against the Patriots.
I said, stop Zach Ertz or at least neutralize them.
Making is ineffective as possible, and the Patriots defense should have no problem stopping the Eagles offense.
He hasn't looked the same since she's been injured.
We saw it yesterday, held the ball too long.
The strip sack was because he didn't even see the pressure coming and it was right in front him.
Danny Shelton should not be stripping the ball from player that should be coming from linebackers.
Not, you know, big £300 defensive lineman and Carson Winston Cm.
So just stops accurate and we're fine and the Patriots did an okay job.
You still end up with nine catches for 94 yards, but a big chunk of those yards came like in the last two minutes of the game.
I think 35 of those came off a one play right, but he didn't score a touchdown.
He scored a touchdown against him in the Super Bowl.
He opened up other people, and it wasn't just Gilmore on top of hurts.
A lot of guys were, but Gilmore had what could be the greatest quote of the season, so they asked Gilmore what it was like.
You know, covering Zach Ertz.
And he said this quote, he was crying.
I'm in a positive light.
That's how Stefan Gilmore opened up his comment. Quote.
He did that on film a lot, too, if you get into it with him, if you don't get the ball or you don't get the calls, he cries.
But he's a good receiver, though.
A good, tight end end quote.
That's probably about as much trash talking as you're ever gonna hear out of stuff on Gilmore, and I don't know, it just it tickled me funny to hear him saying that, and I mean, he listen, Gilmore.
The way he even explains things, is hilarious.
Here's so they asked him, What's the difference between covering a wide receiver and covering a tight end in Gilmore? Says quote.
I've gotta slow myself down a little bit because they're so slow.
We always hear about how fast these tight ends aren't.
Gilmore's is because they're so slow.
They're bigger, though they push off a lot.
It's just got I just got to slow myself down a little bit because I'm used to covering fast guys.
Um, if I do that, then I can play them pretty tight.
That's amazing again.
It's just amazing to me how Gilmore Just like he said.
And you know, he said it in this just like this. Yeah.
You know, uh, I gotta so might ask myself down because they're so slow.
Like he's just He's a quiet, mellow, chill guy.
He never gives the media anything, so the fact that he made those quotes it just shows you how much the Patriots wanted this game, right? They wanted this game so bad, and they're letting their letting that Eagles trust me.
Eagles practice is not going to be fun this week.
And I think the Patriots besides Tom Brady, who was at practice today or at the facility today, let alone having a victory Monday.
I think the Patriots still have fun winning, and, like I said, the offense is gonna come together.
Everything's gonna roll into a nice little package, and I'm really not concerned whatsoever.
But I love those quotes from Gilmore.
I love him coming out in trolling.
I love built Bella check trolling.
I just love how the Patriots, regardless of any deficiencies they may have had, I just love how they enjoyed this victory, and they made sure that Philly knew how much they were enjoying it.
One thing that I think Patriot fans enjoyed yesterday, just a cz Muchas the Patriot community.
The victory is we finally got to see the debut of Nick Eel Harry, the Patriots first round draft pick.
I know I was happy to see him.
He did pretty much exactly what I thought he would, you know? I said a couple of catches.
He caught three, I think was like 33 yards or something like that.
He played a lot more than I thought he would.
A lot of that came because of the door SAT injury, but he played a lot, and but and I talked about this in my post game last night.
I'm talking about it now.
Anybody who missed it, The one thing that I was the most impressed about with McKeel Harry was how he was able two bail Brady out and I think being and it was that play.
I think you came in the fourth quarter and Brady avoided a sack he bent over.
The defender, jumped over him.
He needed to get rid of the ball Um, and the Kill Harry is one.
I think like a buttonhook.
At that time, Brady threw the ball.
He caught the ball, and that's a big thing, right? Brady needs toe build trust with the receiver.
Trust me when I say Jacoby Meyers.
Unfortunately, he made the list last night and not the circle of trust list.
He made the other list.
It starts with an S.
Brady was trying to throw him a fade route.
He went the wrong way.
He was supposed to go outside.
I was really surprised that brain eating to get nailed with intentional grounding.
The past was so far away.
But you could tell Brady was just the look he gave him.
And I don't remember seeing Jacoby Meyers after that.
McKeel Harry came through when he needed to come through, and I don't expect I expect this season to get better every game.
I don't expect him to be a superstar by the end of the year, but I think what we're seeing now is a glimpse of what the Patriots are gonna have for a long time.
Beyond Tom Brady and I talked about, I like this Patriots young core on offense.
McKeel Harry Jacoby Meyers, Damian Harris, Sony, Michelle.
Four big pieces that you can build around as an offense.
If Jared Stem can figure out the system and get it together, or they can find a quarterback that could do 1/2 decent job using those guys.
I'm happy with this core, you know.
He started building it a little bit on the defense.
You want Bentley, John, William, Georgia, one or no, John Manley.
I'll get back to that.
I know it's not drawing Bentley, but Juan Williams.
What the hell is Bentley's name? I feel kind of stupid now.
Now I gotta write Bentley Patriots.
I'm sure people are that John Bentley and you, Juan Williams.
You know, I like those two young guys.
Um, I think that the Patriots got some good young core Chase winter, which obviously is a good young defensive end that they can build around.
I like the Patriots young core man.
I think it's really getting good. I think it's really getting better.
Thank you, Nick. I totally forgot about J. C. Jackson.
Yes, so they're just building around these young guys.
Well, maybe, you know, will it be the continuation of a 20 year dynasty? I don't know.
But I think right now that I'm not afraid of a big long rebuild, because I think they've already got core pieces.
The Patriots may only go through maybe one or two years of not great seasons before they're right back in the mix of being a competitors, you know? And I think as long as Bill Belichick is the coach, I think as long as that core is together, I think as long as Josh McDaniels is the offensive coordinator, I think we'll be okay, man.
I think that will be okay.
All right, guys, I need to move on from the Patriots for a little bit.
And then I'll come circle back for all my SportsCastr viewers.
And I will take your questions, which I'm sure with the Patriots related. I'm sorry.
A guy who just rips on Josh McDaniels just said that he is a living legend.
So I just thank you, Ryan, or you're the man.
Are the Houston Texans contenders or pretenders in the A F. C.
They got absolutely demolished by the ****.
The Ravens, 41 to 7, now is a Patriots fan criticizing the Texans for losing badly to the Ravens.
I don't even know to call it hypocritical, considering what happened to the Patriots when they played the Ravens.
But I watched most of that game yesterday.
The Patriots, in my opinion, put up a way bigger fight.
Then this John Watson did.
The Patriots are also nine and one, and their only loss of the season came to the Ravens.
The Texans, who had control of their division, are now behind the Indianapolis Colts tractor, dropping to 64.
The Colts are leading the South, the Texas.
Now we're probably, you know, with what's going on down in the West and with the Buffalo Bills.
The taxes are now fighting for a playoff spot.
They're not just trying to fight for their division.
They're fighting for a playoff spot.
You know, Jackson didn't even have that great of a game compared to what he's done the last two weeks.
Lamar Jackson goes 17 for 24 for 222 yards, nine Rogers for 86 yards, zero touchdowns? No.
He's got. He was over 300 yards combined.
But I'm saying compared to what we've seen, it was a good game.
Was the great game Ingram was rolling up the field.
What kind of game, though? Do you expect your team wins 41 to 7? This team scores 41 points.
The quarterback doesn't have a single point in the game.
That's just so collectively good.
The Baltimore Ravens are like I said, Somebody's gotta figure out how to stop that offense.
Shawn Watson, on the other hand, 18 for 2969 yards, three rushes for 12 yards, one interception, zero touchdowns.
Watson was in the conversation for possibly being the M V p of the league.
I believe that that's gone.
That's out the window Now.
It's now a two. It's virus.
I'm sure it's a two horse race between Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson.
I still think it's Russell Wilson, but you don't know.
You know at this point of the time of the season, with J. J.
Watt out and just, you know, performances like they had on Sunday, I feel confident this time to say that the Houston taxes air pretenders.
I think Indy's been more consistent.
They've had their moments, but they've been They've been more consistent.
I think the Raiders are more consistent than to make the playoffs.
I think the Bills are more consistent to make the playoffs, and I think that's it, guys, I absolutely, positively do not believe that the Houston Tex will make the playoffs.
They believe the Pretenders that they do make the playoffs.
It will be a first round bounce and finishing that statement with balances.
The perfect lead onto has Sam Darnold bounce back after two big weeks against the New York Giants in the Washington Redskins, the Jets owning the NFC East, the Jets have beat Dallas, the Giants and Washington.
Like when you really think about that.
They won three games in the NFC East.
Their only loss came to the Eagles team.
The Patriots beat the Patriots are three, you know against the NFC East, gonna try to go for a no next week against Dallas.
But the question is, did Sam Darnold come back? I don't like bringing up the level of competition because I know that that was an excuse thrown at the Patriots for a long time, right? They were talking about the Patriots, all the other level of competition.
It'd be nice if they could play a whole team than the minimum of whatever, right? So I pulled up some stats.
I like the quarterback rankings, and I looked at Devi always, because that is, I think TV aways Devi away is the best that to really see what a team looks like.
Sam Darnold and Devi away adjust everything.
Your opponents, the games you played with your way you play, they adjust for everything.
Sam Darnold has the league worst Devi away for starting quarterbacks with a minus 35.
6, the league worst.
Those two games against the Giants and the Redskins did nothing to boost his Devi away.
And let's look at his quarterback rating when you compare him to defense's and what their rankings are so weak When he plays the Buffalo Bills, he has an 84.
9 quarterback rating.
Not too bad, but not great.
The Bills defense Devi away is 12.
Our story is the 12th of the 12th ranked defense in the league, so I'm just gonna say rank now, not just keep saying DDO exit.
Conduct with the ring.
He returns Week six against the Dallas Cowboys, whose defense is ranked 16th.
His quarterback rating is 113.8.
He hosts hosts a MetLife Stadium, the New England Patriots, the number one ranked defense in the NFL.
His quarterback rating is 3.
I didn't even realize that quarterback ratings went that low.
Of course, that's a day he was seeing ghosts.
And so, for what we've seen is going up against Top 15.
Defense is he hasn't been able to hit 90 in the quarterback rating because then he goes to Jacksonville and faces the 11th ranked defense and puts up a quarterback rating of 73.3.
Then he plays Miami, the 31st worst defense in the NFL, the 31st worst a game that if he was really bouncing back a game that if he was really that good, you had a d v A of 100 100 million, you know he should have broke records.
A news, a quarterback ranking never seen before.
It's sort of a pedestrian 85.
4 quarterback rating.
I want to throw a comparison.
Tom Brady's rating when he played the Miami Dolphins was 124.7.
Sam Darnold was 85.
4, and then he is too big games against the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins.
9 quarterback rating and finally hits 100 for the second gets Washington Ah, 1 21.
3 against the 26 23rd.
Worst defense is in the NFL in the NFL again, I don't want to talk about schedule because I know that it's a contentious point for me, for all the stuff I had to hear about the Patriots schedule.
But I can't in my right mind turn around and say, Yes, he's bouncing back when any time he's faced a top 15 defense, he's wet his pants.
He couldn't beat up on the 31st ranked defense Miami Dolphins, but he beat upon the Giants in the Redskins.
So I need to see more before the best court before Aiken deem the best quarterback in the A F C bouncing back and That's all that I have to talk about for today.
So right now I will open it up to some questions.
And I already got some questions right here.
Ryan's got my first question today.
Ray, are you worried about Dac? I'm super mean, Dak Prescott.
I would take Zeke out, double Lamari and say, There you go dack.
Beat us if you can.
That sounds like a great game plan.
I'm not worried about Dak Prescott and I agree with you.
They need to take out a Mari.
I'm in Ohio State, Guy.
I watched his eagle.
You run the ball a lot.
Oh, and I I followed him through through his pro career.
Just like I follow all Ohio guys.
I'm following Dwayne Haskins. I followed the Buckeyes.
I hope for good things for them when they're not playing the Patriots.
Zeke has not been the Zeke of the past, and I get the Dak Prescott Had a look.
Doc had a great game against Detroit against a map. Patricia Defense.
What do you go? 29 for? 46 444 yards.
1 16 quarterback rating.
You gotta also remember, though, that they're playing without Matthew Stafford on the other side of the ball right, which means they're gonna get the ball back to you more to give you more opportunity to do things.
But yeah, Zeke has been a disappointment.
16 carries, 45 yards average, 2.
He did score a touchdown, pulling up his stats on the season here 194 Rush is 838 133 yards, 4.
3 yards per abd along a 27.
It's not Zeke like numbers, but they're still better numbers and other people right? 833 yards over what? How many games of dolls played? 10 or 11? You know he's averaging 80 yards a game, basically, give or take.
What's the Yeah, they play 10 games was averaging like he's averaging 18.
3 yards per game.
So it's not atrocious, right? It's not atrocious, but yeah, you got to stop Zeke, and I agree.
If you make that beat you, Joe, I've known, is that fans hold Brady.
Uh, I've noticed when fans hold Brady accountable, they say he's in decline.
Why? Because Patriot fans Joe don't know howto hold Tom Brady accountable.
That's why, because we've never placed blame on Tom Brady shoulders.
I'm just is guilty of it.
It's only been, really, since I've started on my YouTube page and on on Sports Catwoman.
That's why it started when I was on YouTube.
It only started when I had to talk about the Patriots and football, all the client all the time that I started putting.
You know, I had to start looking at these a little bit more objection, and you could put blame on Tom Brady again.
It's It's so hard to question or to assess where Tom Brady really is because he's under constant pressure by the offensive line.
He doesn't have Gronkowski where you could just quickly dump that ball to is gonna run for 30 yards after the catch.
His running games not working.
There's a lot of things around Tom Brady that aren't working, but here's some stats that I actually forgot to bring up in the beginning.
I want to talk about the Patriots so everybody talks about how bad the Patriots record is.
I looked at their Devia ways today of some football outsiders looking at all their Devi away scores and all that.
There's there's a statin wanted here.
It's called the Patriots efficiency score, and that's that's total of everything.
That's offense, defense, special teams, all that, okay, and it's a weighted Devi away.
So the way the Devi away is ranked based on your efficiency over the last couple of games, not the whole season.
And I like that one because it's more of a reflection of where teams have been.
So I think it's two or three games that they base things on.
The Patriots, even after losing that game in Baltimore, are the number one ranked team in waited Devi away.
The Patriots offense is number 11.
There's still a top 15 offense.
Their defense is ranked number two on their special teams ranked number 18.
You know, sometimes stats and all that kind of stuff doesn't carry over to Howard teams actually playing, Here's some comparisons.
Okay, so here's the top five, right? What they call waited Devi away on efficiency scores to the Patriots of number 19 and one record number to San Francisco, 40 Niners nine and one record.
That all makes sense, right number three.
Our competition on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys were six and four, number four, the Kansas City Chiefs, six and four and then the Baltimore Ravens or number 58 and two.
Kansas City could have beat Tennessee last week.
Probably should have beat Tennessee last week.
Their offense is still amazing, but their defense is atrocious.
The reason that the Patriots are ranked number one is because their offense is a top 15 and their defense is a top three and it's the combined play of an entire team.
So I don't want to just get on the players.
We gotta get on everything and all three.
I'm satisfied where the Patriots are going.
Um, how much better with line be play with wind? I think 1000 times better.
And I don't know if I'm just being overly optimistic.
I get excited very easy about things.
I've been let down a lot.
Ah, but I think it's gonna be 1000 times better.
Nick, Honest to God, I think it will be.
Josh is other than outhouse.
Ah, do you think having no David Andrews is also the problem? Since the center and quarterback connection is so important.
I kind of mentioned this tonight and kind of addressed it already.
But let me address it this way.
Yes, Not having David.
Andrew Andrews has affected the offensive line, especially the communication to the line.
Ted cares when he was on a child and noise show on YouTube.
There talked about how it's, you know, there's a lot more responsibility on you as a centre than just a guard.
But he's done okay.
You know, he's been a good, formidable replacement.
He's not David Andrews, who to me is one of the best centers in the NFL.
I think he was very underappreciated by teams or bye bye, Patriots fans.
I think he's one of the best centers in the NFL, and I'm not just saying that I'm riding on.
The Patriots are up their ass again.
I really believe and I'm a former.
I was a left guard, you know.
I used to be the guy standing beside the center and everything I've seen David Andrews do makes me believe that he's one of the best centers in the league.
There's probably the position I understand the most is the offensive line I played everything I wanted. I never played.
I'd never played center.
I played left guard and occasionally would play tackle.
But I was mainly a guard.
Ah, and then when I got into my older years, I only played guard and I played on the left side.
Detective blindside, baby.
It's why they'd be on the left.
I think David as one of the best.
So losing one of the best in the league is going to be an issue.
But I think that he's done a good enough job, so I don't think a lot of it is coming because of him.
The problem is Marshall Newhouse.
He's the biggest liability of every seven.
When his footwork is atrocious, his hands are atrocious.
His jump is atrocious.
Sidestep is atrocious. His plant is atrocious.
He jams nobody as an offensive lineman.
It drives me crazy to watch him play and shack.
Mason has me worried this because his footwork has been awful and that's been his biggest problem.
His footwork has been awful.
That's one of the problems arriving too.
Fundamentals, Marshall knew s.
I don't know if it's because he's in decline because he's old.
I mean I think he was with.
I think he was with Aaron Rodgers back in 2011 but his fundamentals have sucked.
Oh, Houston had, ah, p.
I not overturned.
How much that affected game.
And will Hawkins get fined for calling out the head of NFL officiating? Uh, Hopkins? Yes, number one Hopkins.
Well, I saw that on Twitter when he put the picture up.
Number two, Um, if they would have lost by 10 points, even 14 points, all that kind of stuff.
Yeah, I would have.
I would have had a serious concern over that call and say that was a real game changer.
Um, and I get that.
That's a momentum changing this as they lost 41 to 7.
You cannot blame the referees when you lose 41 to 7.
Whether you're DeAndre Hopkins, Joe on on SportsCastr Ray on SportsCastr.
That's you guys can't do it.
Um, the officiating.
It's like this year everybody knows that everybody knows is not called.
Look at the hit.
Um, Terrence Brooks through yesterday.
I put it up on Twitter today.
Ah, you have the replay from different angles.
It's a clean hit.
Hit him right here in the chest, didn't hit him in the neck, didn't hit him in the head.
And, yeah, it's That's waiters.
No word on Philip Door set yet.
Oh, so I let me finish the last point.
And, yeah, I think the Andrea Hopkins will get fined.
You can't do that.
I don't think he cares.
Just you guys know DeAndre Hopkins, one of my favorite players in the league, outside of pages, player from people Always talk about you know, who is your top five? 10 players outside of the Patriots? DeAndre Hopkins.
I think he's the best receiver in the NFL behind Odell Beckham Jr.
Just my opinion, though.
Um, heard nothing on door set.
They didn't have a ah practice today, so there was no injury report.
We probably won't find out until Wednesday What's going on with him? Ah, the Patriots are usually pretty good at keeping things.
Mom, I'll tell you the truth.
I didn't do a specific search today for it, so there could be something going on with him.
And the last update was Phillip Dorsett ruled out of the game, so Ah, no, there's nothing yet.
We'll probably find out on Wednesday, I assume since he was ruled out of the game, he's probably in the concussion protocol, which means we may not see him.
Um, on Sunday, we'll have to see.
Do you think Bill would want Odell since he wants to play for them so badly? Yeah.
Bill tried to get I don't know if he's gonna want him now.
I mean, there's a lot of things take into consideration salary, all that kind of stuff.
Yada, yada, yada.
But, um I mean, he tried trading for him two years ago.
We know what we found out.
It almost happened.
The deal was done and the Giants backed out at the last minute.
Odell Beckham Jr should have been a New England patriot last season.
Ah, and he wasn't because the Giants backed out.
And now he's a Cleveland Brown.
So I think of an opportunity arose, I think.
What? L back in June.
That's why he signed.
You know Antonio Brown when he was cut by the Raiders, the Patriot Bell check and recognized talent.
He recognizes passion.
I think he would take him in a heartbeat.
What did you say about tequila, Harry? I missed a bunch.
I said that I was.
I was happy in his debut is exactly what I thought he was gonna do.
I think he's gonna get better as the season goes on.
I don't expect him to be a huge part of the Patriots offense.
I expect him to be a reliable receiver when they need him.
And I think that he is the core of the future.
Ah, my expectations for him this season are low.
My expectations for him going forward are sky high.
All right, here's the perfect question to finish off the stream with Gronk to the ex, have foul.
I do that on Twitter.
Um uh, would not be amazing.
Would not just be the headline of the century.
Rob Gronkowski is Final Troll.
He's gonna play a season in the XFL instead of playing with Tom Brady and the Patriots to try toe win his third legit Super Bowl.
Because don't forget one of his rings.
It's not *****ed, but one of his rings he didn't play.
Gronk is technically two and two in the playoffs in the Super Bowl, so I would love to see him play.
Will there be a battle between Devlin and Johnson in 2020.
I don't know, Joe, to be honest with you, I don't know.
I'd probably actually have to wait until training camp to answer that question.
Because if you could be on scene shows that he could be as effective as James Devlin.
That it could be.
But I don't think that is good.
I don't think he was as good as Devlin.
So we have to see.
But that's a question I really can't answer right now.
And with all that being said, guys, I am done for the night.
My throat is finished.
I was on yesterday for over four hours of between commentary and post game.
Positive smoke too many cigarettes today.
It's 11 o'clock.
I want to go spend a couple of minutes with my wife because she is finer than frog hair.
And anybody who didn't see my stupid car.
There's only one person in the world right now that understands what I'm talking about.
And he just laughed in the comments.
