What's popping is your boy and the Knicks that a much needed win tonight over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
They did it and blow out fashion.
Let me tell you something, ladies and gentlemen, you may not want to believe it, that I have wholeheartedly believe that this was the most important win of the Knicks.
That's how I feel about it.
I think it was the most important win of the season.
Everything came full circle.
They got blown out by the calves about a week ago.
What's prompted Steve Mills and Scott Perry tohave a press conference that's sitting the Knicks world on fire.
So to bring it back around full circle and get the win is big.
But Nick's let's take a minute.
Let's recap the game and they now we'll get into talking about it.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's make this rock.
Ladies and gentlemen, the next came out tonight right from the get go, Ready to play basketball.
They were ready for this one.
Ladies and gentlemen, they knew what this game met.
You see, right off back Julius Randle to Frank Miller. Akina.
But a nice lay in Marcus Morris posing from three he misses, but Taj Gibson? It's the tip and have to get into offensive rebounds.
On one play, the Knicks were ready to play up for Oh, right from the tip.
And that was a guy we had to key in on.
He goes to the cup and gets it.
Let the Knicks no vital right off the bat.
That last game wasn't a joke.
The next knew it.
They knew it wasn't a joke.
You see him get it once more, said it wasn't a joke.
I'm coming for your neck and coming for your throat.
Frankly, Lucchino was on guard.
Nobody had to do you see more gets the tooth kind of *** than once again to the lane.
Dips it off. Tristan Thompson.
Tristin Thompson puts an institute, the Knicks, up 10 7 at this point.
Bracknell Akina up the floor.
He had his best game, as in New York Knick.
Finally, the $63 million man.
Julius Randle, once again going one on one, pulls back, knocks it in.
Julius Randle kicks it.
R J. Barrett to Frank.
Frank pulls up at the free throw line knocks it down.
This the frank we like the scene that we want to see.
He's come into his own Julius Randle.
Once again, the Knicks up 20 to 9 at this point, then 24 to 10 Julius Randle once again knocks it down at a hell of a first quarter.
Julius Randle did.
He had 15 points in the first quarter.
Julius Randle was on his game today.
Conner ***ton in the paint, floats it in.
The Knicks are up 26 to 12.
Again, Julius Randle goes to the cup.
No, Kevin love there to defend Julius Randall because he was out with injury today, but still Elise Randall played his best game as a New York Knick.
As you see, the Cavs try to keep it close in that first quarter.
Damian Dotson off the bench.
He knocks it in from three.
Damion Dotson had a pretty good Oh, that was too.
Excuse me, ladies, gentlemen.
Jamie doesn't have a pretty good game tonight.
Haibal last game on a sprained ankle, but didn't so many signs of it tonight.
He did his thing.
You see, Damian Dots and once again with the dribble goes to the cup.
They mean Dotson.
He had a good game, so he had 11 points on the night.
You see the cash they're trying to stick in.
Their 34 22 was Kevin Porter Jr goes to the basket, but it gets blocked by Mitchell Robinson.
Damian Dotson, on the fast break, pulls it back out, but he says, No, I'll go in again.
Kicks it out to Dennis Smith Jr and Smith Jr going one on one. He takes it.
Not too many people gonna stay in front of Dennis made Junior when he's ready to explode, and it's made.
Junior had eight points tonight.
You love him in garbage time, but he still had eight points.
Kevin Porter Jr pulls it three, knocks it down the cash out.
A lot of threes tonight.
They shot a lot of trees that shot 47.
2% from the three point line, but they were still bound by 20 most of the night.
As you see him knocked down another 3 36 31 to cash.
Try to make a run here in the second quarter with the Knicks.
They stayed with it.
They had energy.
They knew what this game met.
Game Damien does into the cup.
Frank Miller Kino Showing off some point guard skills.
You started to get it, Ladies and gentlemen, Julius Randle knocks down another three, breaking allocated to move in the post.
Double double spin lays it in.
Marcus Morris had 23 points, one of the few games that Marcus Morris and Julius Randle played well together at the same time on the same night.
Bobby Portis, Noxon and three.
That's what we brought Bobby Portis here for folks.
We brought him to knock down threes.
Julie's ran to the cup.
Nice little floating.
Lays it in telling you that may have a monster night.
30 points with Julius Randle.
He tried to get his Tristan.
Thompson had nine points on the night.
They try to try to stay close to try to push it.
They actually cut the next 20 point lead to 13 which made me a little, you know, Obviously, I was a little bit skeptical once they cut it.
13. But still, the Knicks.
They were able to do that thing.
Julius Randle, once again from three, had his best night.
One of his best knights from three as a Nikas.
Well, I think Julie's Randall from three tonight, it was 345 He's been shot with 20% on the season.
Look unifies Bobby Portis for the photo and lay the Knicks up 62 to 42 with two minutes left.
But the calves keep pushing.
Frank Miller Kane again in the lane, goes to the cup trying to tell you guys, manage, This guy is developing into a point guard in the league.
Believe me or not, he is kind of ***ton from three.
He knocks it down 64 to 48.
Justin Thompson kicks it out, Sam, and there you go turns into a 13 point lead by half, but now it's 66 51 the beginning at the top of the third as Julius Randle dips it off to R. J. Barrett.
But a dunk right nil. Akina, Nifty.
Move aside, finds Taj Gibson for the dunk.
The Knicks extend lead back out 70 to 51.
Cleveland's not going away that easy, at least at this point, you can pour the junior race up the floor, lay the ball in coast to coast.
These that's after things that the Knicks got to stop.
Yeah, you can't let a guy just go coast to coast up. Influence score.
You know when you're up 20.
I guess you can.
You can live with it, But the Knicks aren't always up to money.
This is one of the rare games that Nick's were up 20 where gays an extra 22 CRD better race down the loose ball and lays it instead of just letting the ball be back.
That's the kind of effort that the Garden wants to see.
Kind of effort that I want to see.
Garland with Julius Randle the next.
Julie's Red was gonna do their move.
He's got the ball.
He pulls it up, knocks it in 79 to 60 or 80 to 60 because he got fouled.
He knocks down the three.
Like I said, the cats were hot.
13 point line this tonight, but they had a lot of turnovers, too.
He knocks it down from three.
The Knicks as a team.
8% from three tonight on break Jordan clocks, and he gets dumped.
The Knicks up 21 points.
They're 1/4 yet Kevin Knox finds Bobby Portis on the screen and roll the Nixon using that screen and roll more and more and more is becoming a staple in office, Especially with Mitchell.
See Gary's Garland? You know he finds whoever that is.
I can't even think of the guy's name in the paint for the little Mini.
Don't having knocks again to the cup.
He lays it in Kevin Knox tonight.
You know he was to pretend from the field with six points.
We need Kevin knocks toe, get back in the flow of the game.
He was having such a good game.
Ah, good season earlier.
But he gets this one on the brake, the two of his six points Julius Randle bringing the ball up.
The Knicks, up 25 pulls up at the top of the key.
Knocks it down again.
Julius Randle had 30 points, seven rebounds on tonight.
He also had four assists, only one turnover on the night.
The next up large Julie's Rando again with a nice little scoop behind the Rin Floater.
The Knicks go up 24 points and it was extended garbage time for awhile, Ladies and gentlemen, days Garland goes to the cup.
R J Bear brings the ball up.
He goes to the cup.
R J Bird is just a strong do.
You got to give it to him again, are you? Bear it to the Cup, followed up by Mitch Robinson.
And the Knicks have started get points in the paint because of Mitchell Robinson.
What? Mitchell Robinson being back? I think he's found a nice roll.
A nice needs a nice spot as the Knicks up 27 points coming off the bench.
Hey, just looks more comfortable to me.
And maybe it's because, you know the Knicks offenses.
They're finding ways to get him involved a little bit better, but he looks a little bit more comfortable in a second unit, in my opinion, in my opinion.
Mitchell Robinson tonight, ladies and gentlemen, he had seven points, eight rebounds on the night.
You see Mr Robinson right there.
He missed the alley you, but he gets his own rebound and puts it back in Big Mitch Robinson.
The Knicks up large.
Three minutes left in the game now is just extended garbage time.
You know, guys just playing around.
Not much defense being played these last 23 minutes of the game.
Major Robinson for Move, Morris.
One more time for the alley.
You, you know, in the Knicks.
They put it out there tonight, and it was important they needed to put it out there tonight.
They had the win tonight.
Ladies and gentlemen, in my opinion, there's no way, no way that the Knicks were going to be able to.
They couldn't lose this game.
It could lose this game.
They had to have any win out and they got it.
They took it so big up big.
Shout out to the Knicks for this one.
But this is obviously the game that all of us should be most proud off.
This season has to be the game that all of us the most proud of this season very good game by the New York Knicks.
Give me a second man and we'll go over Ah, whole bunch of the stats and take a look behind a rare blow out by the New York Knicks.
But before we get to, that man will listen to Julius Randle as he had his best game as a New York Knick.
Well, take a listen and Julius Randle And what it meant for the Knicks to get this win knowing that we got blown out by this team just a week ago.
Police radio, that not Julius Randle yet.
Now Billy is Randall.
Julius, you leave this one start to finish.
But I want to go back to that third quarter.
That's where you really put this cast teams away.
What was the game plan at the start of the third? Uh, just not get also slow Start.
Keep our foot on the gas.
Keep playing fast. Complaint.
Aggressive on Our biggest thing was just to get stops.
This Cavs team came to the garden eight days ago.
They beat you on this floor.
How important was it for this next team tonight to show them that you weren't gonna let them beat you twice here at home? It was big for us, you know.
They came in, you know, really smack this last time we were here on home court, but it was big.
Like you said, we want to protect the garden.
Wanna protect Home Court? And we did that.
Such an efficient game for you, Your 1st 30 point game here in the garden with all of these amazing fans.
How'd it feel to go out and just you? I know how hard you've been working.
You know, the game will slow for me tonight.
My teammates could feed me the ball, and I was just in a riddle, and I tried to stay in the rhythm and make the right play the whole night, whether it's scoring army passing.
So I tried to do that.
Hopefully, I can just keep doing it.
And you heard him all night long.
He tried to make the right play.
He tried to make the play that was going to be best for him or his teammates.
Sometimes the best play was for him to take shots, sometimes the best.
Sometimes the best play was was for him to pass the ball.
He did that tonight.
All right, Big shot out to Julius Randle for that because he did that, and I think he did a good job of it tonight.
People could say We can all say what we want about his defense and what he does on the defensive side.
The offensive side of the ball of the floor for him tonight came together.
It came to get came together for the entire next team.
And of course, we're gonna go over the stats a little bit deeper.
But the next shot 44.
9% from the field tonight, 34.
That's not bad, all right.
They had 47 rebounds.
It's one of the big keys to the game.
Next, only had seven.
Tunnel was on the night.
Another big key to the Knicks.
Winning this game don't know is what we'll go over those stats and a little bit more detail.
I so big, big, big shout out to the Knicks for big win.
One thing I do want to say is Coach Fizdale.
You know, we talk about the possibility of Coach Fizdale watching this stream, watching this channel or watching any other channel.
It could really be a possibility, folks because in coach fizz down one of his postgame interviews, you talked about a play of burning, you know, burning himself.
If you burn yourself too many times, you finally learned a lesson.
You know, I used that same scenario with Guillermo the other day.
I'm just saying, I'm just saying folks room to say But I used that same scenario with Gamma the other day.
I'm pretty sure Emma would tell you.
He probably remembers himself.
Probably remembers himself.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks won 1 23 2105 And we're gonna take a look as some of the numbers behind the game.
And then we'll get to some phone calls and we'll get to some video chat guys and see what these guys have to say about the game.
And, you know, Mark is gonna have something to say about Julius Randle.
So, Mark, I'll be waiting for you to come into Let's take a look at some of the numbers behind the game.
Ladies and gentlemen, as I said, the next 11 23 2105 Knicks have 47 rebounds.
They outrebounded the cash, which they should have done calves had 41.
The next only had 17 assists.
I obviously, we'd like to see more assistant that, but we'll take it on a night like this.
Okay, we'll take eight steals by the Knicks tonight.
10 blocks on Lee. Seven turnovers.
The Caps at 19 destroyed the game.
You see the last game the Knicks had 21 turnovers.
Nick's got blown out tonight.
The cash had 19 turnovers, and they got blown out.
The Knicks out 44.
9% from the field to cash 47.
4 units with 34.
8% for the three point line.
It's okay below their average, but it's okay.
Could be better.
The Cavs shot 47.
2% of the three point line the cash actually took Tonight.
They took 36 3 point shots.
The next only took 23 but as Clyde Frazier said, the Knicks was scoring the old school way screen.
A roll back door cuts give and go.
In the Knicks, they shot 77% from the free throw line.
That's getting better.
That's getting better now.
The next they have a ton of assist, but they had 30 fast break points.
That's because the casual turning the ball over.
I will take that in lieu off the assists, because if you get those turnovers and then you're converting, I'm sorry that second chance points.
The Knicks at my bad.
My bad, My bad folks the next had nine fast break points, nine fast break points.
They had 32nd chance points.
I apologize about that.
But I'll take that, too, because that means the Knicks might have been getting some open shots.
They missed him.
But the Knicks got those offense of rebounds, which was one of the keys to the game getting those offensive rebound, keeping the cast from running.
Because the last game, the last game, that the Knicks played the cash.
And excuse me, um, a little bit 646 folks, the last game that the Knicks played the calves to Cash had 23 fast break points because the next turned the ball over so much it was important for the legs to take care of the ball.
Hit those offense of rebounds because they got those orphans of rebounds.
They had 32nd chance points points in the paint.
The Knicks had 54 it was important and parented that the Knicks took advantage of those points in the paint.
The calves give up 51 points in the gate per page, 51 points in the paint Pro game, so the Knicks got 54.
That was big because the Knicks used the only school about 44 points in the paint.
All right, and that was big.
Nick's got 54 points in the paint.
The leaders of the game, Julius Randle, had 30 points.
Kevin Porter Jr led to Cleveland Cavaliers with 18 said he Alckmin.
He had eight rebounds.
Taj Gibson led the Knicks with eight rebounds, twisted times to have one block.
Mitchell Robinson led.
The Nets were four blocks and, frankly, Latina led the Knicks with six assists, while Jordan Clarkson led the Cleveland Cavaliers were four assists.
And it is telling ladies and gentlemen that Kevin Porter Jr was the leading scorer for the Cleveland Cavaliers because the last game palace ***ting with working at 31 points.
He only had 14 points tonight's 5 13 from the field, so the Knicks did a decent job on Collins ***ton.
You noticed it was less switching tonight, less switching off a college ***ted, which was key to me because the more you switched off, the kind of *** and the more he's going to get called on Julius Randle, Taj Gibson and those guys, and he could take advantage of him by the next batch.
Played decent. Tonight.
They have 42 points.
All right? 23 rebounds, four assists, two steals, five blocks.
Only three turnovers to BET shot, 40% from the field, 25% from three.
The next artist, though, they came the ball.
They had 81 points to start, is dead 24 rebounds, 13 assists, six steals, five blocks, four turnovers.
They shot 48% from the field starter's shot, 45.
5% from three, mainly due to Julius Randle, right, because Julius Randle was 34513 point line.
Other starters that took three's Marcus Morris was one for three. R.
Barrett was one for one. Franklin Lucchino was open, too.
S So it was Julius Randle that was really hot from the three point line for the Knicks.
Oh, and for the starters, the players of the game N B A. Players it again.
You know they do the fantasy fantasy school and all that good stuff.
Julius Randle used to play the game for the next 30 points.
Seven rebounds or assist.
One block, two steals and only one turnover have imported.
Jodi had 18 points, four rebounds to assist zero blocks, one steal and three turnovers for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Good game for the New York Knicks.
Ladies and gentlemen, really good game for the New York Knicks.
Really good game, R.
Bird, By the way. He had 15 points tonight.
The bet was 5 30 foot field.
He had 15 points, all right.
Time skips, and he had seven points.
Market smaller, says.
I mentioned what we were looking at.
The what? We're looking at the highlights.
He had 23 points.
Frightening. Lucchino had eight points.
The only other person in double digits with Damien died 7 11 but it was good.
Balanced scoring across the board didn't.
Smith Jr with eight mental Robinson with seven.
Kevin Knox with six, Bobby Portis with seven.
Ah Wayne Ellington.
Alonso trail did not play due to the coach, you know, did not play coach's decision.
And, you know, there's still questions about why Lonzo Tree is not playing much.
But it's hard to question when you win like this, right? Hard to question anything.
If you're gonna get wins like this, Coach Fizdale, You guys can get ones like this.
No one's gonna catch question anything.
Goodwin by the New York Knicks Ladies in General Goodwin by the New York Knicks.
Let's see who's jumping in the video chat.
No, that's, um, guys get made it trying to get in, to chat, to see who these guys are.
We got at Zio just Isaiah for right now, ladies and gentlemen.
So before we get to the video chat, let's take a listen to, frankly, Latina do it.
Frankly, Lucchino had to say about tonight's victory.
All right, Uh, like I said, Right, Milla Kino is coming into his own.
Ladies and gentlemen, he's he's he's playing with more confidence.
Is shot is no is falling.
She isn't always fallen, you know.
Tonight, frightening looking was 3 to 7 from the field, but he's playing with confidence.
What? He has the ball in his head's That's what you want.
Let's take a listen to fight milk.
How did you get this Cavs team off rhythm from the start through the fourth, being really aggressive from the start, we knew they came out here really aggressive.
Last game, we played them with them.
Two guards who are very talented, so way decided to be aggressive on them.
And then you're talking about the backcourt aggressive last Sunday.
But then tonight, Great job keeping those guys out of the paint.
What was the key? Thio Stopping that inside penetration and make sure they couldn't get out.
Kick out to those three point shooter in defense, working out, working on pick and roll, being aggressive, stepping out to deny their rhythm and after just closing out to the passes and contain contain.
So we did a good job of that.
Big Biggs did a great job by talking and communicating.
So it was a step up tonight, Julius Randle, his 1st 30 point game here at the Garden, and you guards were looking for him all night long.
But how great was it to see him find that rhythm? Find that efficiency was amazing.
It just felt like the game was so easy for him and way just We're just so happy for him and way going to try to build on that, make easy plays for him and for the whole team s o.
Like I said, it's a step up tonight.
So we're gonna try and build on that.
Yes, that's what we gotta do.
We gotta try to build on a man because schedule that's coming up.
It's his schedule, actually.
Okay, so we can win.
You know, we we play the next.
We played the scent Antonio Spurs, and we'll get a chance to look at the schedule.
We'll break it down into three game increments, so we're not looking to deeper too far for the next three games.
Man, we got two of those games that we can win.
We really do. Two of them we can win.
What happens versus the Philadelphia 76 is about the Knicks tonight, a one they've won two out of their last three games.
Laugh if you want to, but it is the truth.
We've went over the last three.
They've been upto home.
Ladies and gentlemen, give it up, toe.
I don't give it up, toe.
Ah, Isaiah Coming to you, bro.
May Don't say I'm chilling, man.
I feel good. We just got us a nice win tonight.
You don't say so. Of course I'm happy about that.
Oh, man, I'm happy to mayor.
We definitely needed this win chart to the Knicks.
Um, it means nothing negative.
There's nothing negative states a man size guarding the three.
That's any much it. But that's normal.
Great ally around for everybody, you know, minutes.
Then I'm listening to you, man.
It just feels good that, you know, I feel like Frank is finally becoming the leader.
And, you know, you get this hearing His voice hand is actually that what he's doing, um you know, it Sze to me is like, so amazing how Fred and soon this imagining, you know, having patients for the 2021 year old c.
Let's see how far it takes.
You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, it is good to him.
Said that he's fine.
Is this you know this is all the good around, man.
I love that friends become a point more point guard.
He's becoming his own.
And, uh, yeah, man, I'm excited.
Let's let's build on this one.
I'm going to Philly.
Represent everybody ready? Okay.
Don't be a fam. Wait a minute.
You say you're going to Philly against not going? This is the game in Philly.
I thought the game was home games in Philly.
Is it okay? Yeah, I'm going.
I'm going to Philly.
You know, it's gonna be tough to win in Philly.
You know, that already is gonna be tough to win in Philly.
But you got to go there.
Represent you gotta NBK soon or something.
I mean, yeah, I still got the abdication.
That'll represent me. You've got to go.
The indication I'm little I'm little Russell, man, I'm little Russell.
You've got to do that, man.
You got to do that.
I mean, since you go, How you getting in your driving ticket? A train driver? Okay, I'll shoot you.
Might as well take another two hour chip and come down my way.
Hey, where? You know What? Actually, I'm all for some one on Thursday.
We'll talk about that.
We'll talk about it, talk about it, talk about it.
You know, saying I'd get you in the Jimmy crack.
You open real quick.
You know me Well, first of all, let's kill Kai for the role.
I want everybody to know that. Take that.
We did City for real.
What was Papa, bro? Let's go with you.
May come on where he's lives May nobody want to hear those lives.
Uh, let's go with what's happening, man.
How you how you feel about what you saw tonight? You know the same man? I feel good because we got the w.
Of course you already know that.
Like, you know, Sam, I just Well, I feel like we should be out 500.
Yeah, like, you know, I'm saying, but I like the intensity and I like that we played, you know.
Although we did not win the fourth quarter, which I wish we would have because that probably would have been the only game that we had.
We've won all quarters, but all in all, we got the w So that's what's up.
And then second, I just want to say Kudos, Whoever was at third Quarter who shouted out the Oh no lie on free throws that I can't remember his name.
But that other guy was Sure, let's take kudos for that because, you know, they pay you whoever was.
They pay homage to shed man, and I respect that.
No doubt you know how you feel about Julius Randle's game tonight.
Oh, you know what it's like.
I told, Like I told Sam Towler Entertainment said, This is the rental that everybody's been looking for, a brand new that we've always wanted to see and I'm glad it finally showed up.
So where you know, I'm saying he played efficient.
He barely played with his backs of that basket.
And that's what I like, Seem.
Is the growth of him because, you know, the first couple of games have too many games at once.
He was playing with his back to the basket a lot.
It was turnovers.
There was, you know, uh, files called turn on returning the tournament and he stopped and he started playing downhill and that was one of the things everybody was was rooting for.
Everybody was looking at especially mean when I kept saying, You know, Please don't play with your back to the basket.
I know you can do it, but just don't do it every time you get the basketball right? Every time he got the basketball, that's what he was doing.
He was just dribbling, dribble on, drilling back to the basket like, you know, face up, see the court And, like, you know, So I like it.
This is the Randall that we've been waiting to see.
And if yeah, big now, Peter, I can. You're bigger.
Um I'm going to tell you what I'm really impressed with about Julius Randle.
The past couple of games.
He's really been trying to figure out, figure out how to play within the offense, right? It figure out how to how to pass the ball.
Uh, when he doesn't have a shot, How did not force it? I mean, it was so bad in the beginning of the season watching him for sports for sports force.
Right now he is learning howto get the ball out of his hands.
I don't have a lane.
I'm going to get it out of my hands.
Let somebody else go on and it's It's helping him.
It's helping him.
He had 30 points tonight and he still did that, you know, to meet.
Yeah, I'm glad to see it.
I hope he continues and I hope it continues to happen, for I hope it continues to happen for him because he was looking really, really bad.
You know, those that first week of the season.
He was looking really bad, You know what I mean? So hopefully it continues to happen for him.
He continues to learn howto play within playing, share the ball, you know, Hopefully he can.
He could continue to learn and take that with him.
You know me, the last couple of games, even doing a good job.
He's been doing a decent job of it, and and and the thing is it if you watch from game to game, you've seen the growth.
You have seen the growth.
You know, there was one particular play tonight when he caught the ball on the wing.
Any turns and I was like he's about to force.
It isn't easy, but he's not going to force it.
Instead, he passed it to Damian Docks in and got out the way.
You know, saying I was okay, Good.
But it's easy to do that when you're shot is falling right? That's what I'll be looking for when you shot is falling and you already got 26 27 points.
It's easy to be like now.
I'm gonna get it out.
Let's see if he could do that when it shot isn't falling when he's not here, Can we talk about this? Him and we talk about this one thing.
We've been harping team for free throws me last couple of games, mascot.
Been a 70% and which is good, which is good, because road that makes us no longer in the bottom of the barrel, like you know what I mean.
It's hard to win games when you're shooting 60 over.
I can't 11 exact number was 60 something like 64% 64%.
So last game we shot like 80% or something like that Tonight.
I think we shot 77% so that's a good deal.
Let me get maximum. It's a big difference.
Big difference. I'm gonna get to a phone call.
I I'll be back to you.
Caller Caller, You're live another.
But Nick's was part blackest time set up for this chat.
I'm telling, man, I feel good, man.
I feel real good in that.
Which makes tonight veteran on the Knicks win always and and not just the wind.
Man, this is a big win for me.
I'm telling you, it's a big win, man.
Because the Knicks would have gotten blown out tonight by the cash.
If they would have lost, it would have been some of that brown stuff hitting the faint.
I think if they would've got blown out Ah, whole lot of that brown stuff would hit the fan.
I think you know what I'm saying.
So Oh, it's good that they got that wind really good that they got this win tonight.
We'll see if we can build on it and moving to go to Philadelphia.
Tell me what? What did you see tonight? Um, some some some highlights that I wantto point out.
Oh, you was talking about Randall's right up the back.
Oh, you know, one of the things that I was saying about him, and I'm not that he did.
He did it today with May quick decisions.
Yeah, I remember early, but like one of the first streak three games.
So I was I was saying it was very reminiscent of, uh, mellow holding the ball.
And how much effective mother was when he when he made quick decisions.
Whether it's shoot past, Dr whatever, you're going to read the defense and do it with, you know, within the 1st 2 seconds of getting the ball ran and he did that tonight, home, he he shot the mid range jumper he basically took with the defense gave up.
And if he does that and is this efficient? You know, she's a decent percentage that's going to change.
Change, huh? The whole night.
That's something that I've been calling out about the Knicks or years, which I say we would one at least four more games if it wasn't for turnovers.
And ah, it does.
As long as that improved, I think we can win at at least a decent clip.
Okay, um, you know everything else that's wrong.
Week. We could work on that.
But that stuff is stuff that, you know.
It's obviously out out that stuff that were giving away.
No, you're giving away with these mystery toes and you give your leaving points on a point of flora and you've given away easy basket opportunities or taking away a possession from yourself with the turnover, right? So, I mean, that was the best thing.
I like to see some tonight, you know? Okay, it was did the score per se.
You know, if you control those two things, I think we'll be in good shape.
You know, I seen you know, something that I seen tonight.
I seen way Maur off ball movement the night, Uh, you know, like when Julius Randle had the ball on one side of the floor, I seen people moving and cutting on the other side of the floor.
All right? And listen, the calves and people could say what you played the cash, the calves, and not a good team and done enough.
And they're not.
That's the truth.
They're not a good team at all.
But they came into this game 15th in the league and defensive rating.
So they're right in the middle of the pack, right? And we've seen the Knicks play terrible against worse.
So, you know, is the offense coming along? I mean, we scored the most tonight.
We scored 123 points tonight.
Is it coming along, or is it just, um, because of who we played? Because, look, we shot 44.
So it's not like we were, like, just blazing hot all night long.
Now, obviously, school No.
One I can guarantee without seeing any black scores.
We had way more possessions, offensive rebounds, saved home.
You know, there was times we had 34 offensive rebounds, one possession, right? You know that if we continue that which even I think we've been leading the league in offensive rebounds already, we lead the league in second chance points.
We did leave the legal secretary again.
Gonna be another plus for us, right? We had 32nd chance points.
Tonight we lead the league a second chance points, so Ah, yeah, definitely.
Um, you know, that's big.
We had 98 shot attempts tonight.
The Cleveland Cavaliers had 76 shattered tips tonight.
Yeah, only that the Knicks, you know that your percentage will go down, but the fact that you have 20 more shots than than it seems, you know you could live with that.
That bad shooting percentage.
We took eight more shots than in Cleveland Cavaliers.
We took eight more shots than them.
Now they took nine more three point shots than us.
They took 13 more three points.
They made nine more three point shots, and as we only shot 23 threes tonight, we were 18 to 23.
It was 17 for 36 from the three point line.
So you know, and and then field goals.
This field goals as as a whole, you know, as far as two point baskets.
That means that they made 19 2 point baskets.
Why they made 17 3 point baskets from the free throw line tonight.
Ah made 16 free throws. It was 16 for 30.
We made 27 threes free throws with 27 35 but on and one last shot out home saw the scene.
Um, that's that needs to continue.
Ah, you know, get this minute.
I think he's due.
We'll break out a breakout year home to be honest.
He's another guy.
That super poise, um, kind of sticks to what? He does well the most and has worked on the stuff that he wasn't great at.
You know, his that creation have creating his own shot.
He's gotten a lot better at that.
Um, and that's when I have made strength.
But, you know, I don't cringe when when he tries it.
Oh, I just I just have a feeling that if he keeps getting his minutes, he do that a breakout year and a couple of, you know, a phenomenal game sauce, Okay? And yeah, I mean this. He plays defense.
He can go from the two to the three, you know? So you can mate.
He can play multiple positions on offense.
He could defend multiple positions on defense.
Um, you know, Teasdale likes to switch.
Who wants to switch? What effect? That Damien Johnson can play multiple positions, you know, just feeds in today.
Yeah, that switching.
You know, saying you know, the defense that they want to play.
So big, you know, big kudos to the next man.
For for the for not just switching, but also chapping up high.
I think that was a big difference in the defense tonight.
Yeah, the point guard it, at least slow them down and stopped a lot of the penetration that that's been killing us, you know? Yeah, they did a lot more.
They found ways to get the ball out of college.
***tus hands? Because we've been having trouble with quick fast guards all season long, you know? So we found a way to get the ball out of his hands.
We did less switching on Colin ***.
And you seen, frankly, Latina r J Berry has seen these guys fighting over screens.
Or you see Mitchell Robertson or whoever you know was the big man.
Uh, hey, JJ, the ball handler while the guard recovered What you don't say? So there was less switching.
Which mitt, you know, there were.
There were less times when a guard was caught or when the guard had a mismatch with one of the bigs, you know, so that, you know, that was a big positive, A big thing That was a big key.
A big thing that I harped on is that we got someone with speed of common ***, and you can't continuously switch.
Because if you do that, it's gonna be a problem.
And we did it less tonight in less tonight.
So that's a big thing.
I don't know if you're gonna be a joy to be here, but I appreciate it.
You gonna be on for at least hours, right? Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, it's already 43 minutes, and I should be on for another hour.
I should be on for another 45 minutes or so.
I am being in, like, 20 minutes, I bet.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks had a good win tonight.
There's a lot of questions still, you know, But these are good questions, though, that we're asking tonight.
So is the offense coming together? That's what I want to know.
Are you starting to see the offense click a little bit? I could tell you one thing.
We're seeing something that we could say is a staple.
That screening role.
We're getting good at it.
You know, I didn't look up to see, you know how many screen and rolls you ran tonight and the official see off the screen and roll.
I will take a look at it.
Take a look at it, but the screen and roll is getting better.
It's the reason why Mitch is getting ducks at the basket, and you see where attempting it more more.
Kevin Knocks attempted it twice with Mitchell Robinson.
They didn't convert it, but they attempted it.
But we'll find any What time's Gibson.
We'll find it with Mitch in this mix when times get to starting and Mitchell Robinson, coming off the bench is working very well, right? I think Mitchell Robinson is kind of in a comfort zone.
Coming off the bench, he looks comfortable on the floor, Not to mention they're using this pick and roll to get him involved in the offense.
Well, we first started the season.
He was a little bit lost out there, but you know why? It was a little bit lost because there were guys that needed the ball in their hands to do some Julius Randle.
Ah, Marcus Morris.
You know, they were having a ball in their hands trying to do this or trying to do that.
So Mitch is just kind of like, OK, where do I go? What do I do? Playing in the second unit? See, Taj Gibson knows what to do.
He knows how to play without being part of the offensive system while being part of the offensive game plan.
As far as getting the basketball, he knows what to do.
Mitch, you know, in that second unit with a second unit, you're still sometimes playing with Frankie Got Diaz Day.
Bird is out there, right, but he's part of the office of game plan of that second unit, which I think is really benefiting Mitch.
It's really benefiting him, and you're seeing it a lot, you know.
Now he's getting comfortable out there on the floor.
I so that pick and roll is becoming something that's a staple of the Knicks offense.
You've seen it a lot.
You're seeing him attempt.
It's a converted screener role to Mitch Robinson.
So, you know, I don't know.
What do you think, man? We started to get some offensive rhythm.
We had it tonight.
We had it tonight.
We had a good offensive flow tonight, even though even though we didn't shoot that well from the field, I mean, we shot okay from the field.
I don't mean to say we didn't shoot that Well, you know, we didn't shoot this astronomical percentage from the field.
Just got a normal just kind of average.
You still score 100 23 points.
Second chance points will be made free throws as a big part of it.
Savvy company. You, bro.
It was good of Chile.
How are you? I'm doing well, buddy.
It's good to be back in the chat.
Shut out toe to the YouTube chat.
Shout out to the show, Man, that's the best next show on you to appreciate you, my brother.
Thank you for that.
Tell me, is this offense starting to click a little bit? Absolutely.
It's starting the flu, and it's beautiful to see.
I've actually been been wanted to talk about the offense clipping a couple a couple of nights now, but I keep on missing my opportunities together in but what I like that we're doing right now it is that for better or worse, we're making decisions about what's going to happen with respect and it's happening.
It's happening, you know, November you know.
So that's a decent time, friend.
You and I were talking earlier about opening.
It doesn't take until February.
Start getting some defined roles.
But even though we might be upset now about not saying as much Alonso tree here where we're getting players into positions where we can we can have a gap of space where we can put in a guy like that sentence.
Let him show us what his case is to make for having a position on the roster.
Okay, I love the fact that we've decided, OK, we're gonna go with Todd.
Gives him who has been playing better than I expected from the play, and we're gonna let him start.
We're gonna let Mitch come off the bench and they're going toe do their niches.
Two to an extent, I'm a consistent basis where we can schedule our efforts around them.
We can make place around them.
We can we can plug them in and get these matchups, right? You know what I mean? And we've been winning a lot of rebounds and we've been getting about a second chance points just by doing that without a big man? Yeah, yeah.
Ah, and Mitch Mitch is killing it on with second chance points.
Man, you know, Listen, he's not one of those strong rebound is.
This is gonna bull guys out the way, you know, he uses his length.
No time to time.
I do see a box of people out, but he uses his length, and then he finds a way to tap that ball to himself.
But those offensive rebounds and when your teammate, that's a shoot that well from the field, you really need those offensive rebounds and the Knicks and doing it.
They lead the league in second chance points.
Yes, and he's tenacious, too.
You know, I love I love the development just in his attitude, you know, from from last season to now, you know.
And it seems like ever since he came back from his concussion protocol, how he's been, he's been eager.
Thio maintain that intensity that we saw flashes own before he got her.
Okay, And and I love to see that, and I'm seeing that from a couple of God's on our roster.
I'm seeing that from him I'm seeing that from Dotson.
I'm saying that from Frank.
Added two developments that I feel like it's going to go a long way when it comes to communication and and our efforts during home games and our energy when we come out, you know what I mean? Like like Tommy did last time.
You even, like, fantasized of Frank and Akina doing something, like coming out the gate with a given Golec.
I mean, I don't fantasize about frankly Latina, but, you know, I don't need I don't think you know what that means.
But now I'm just messing with you, but I just don't have relations.
No. Yeah, definitely.
I'm just joking with you, but hey, yeah, I mean, listen, I mean, Frank Millikin is doing things like getting in the lane down low and then finding, like, on the past, Taj Gibson.
I think it was in the first the second quarter, you know, he was in the lane.
He's downloading is holding a guy off.
You know what is back and then, boom, You find stars Gibson, things like that.
He's he's learning, and you could see the development coming game after game at the game, you know, and I'm not worried as much about the scoring If you scored a bunch of points.
I'm worried about the other stuff that I'm seeing on the floor and the Knicks coach Fizdale the players their value.
What frankly, lichen is doing.
You know, the person that I'm starting to worry about in this whole point guard rotation now is Dennis Smith Jr.
It's funny, because the beginning of the season everybody was Oh, Frank's out of the rotation is gonna be awful pain.
And then the Smith Jr right? I was one of the people that was like, Well, let's not say that yet.
Maybe that's what it looks like.
But I remember saying, Remember Emmanuel Moody last year? We thought the manual movie.
It was the last guy he was going to be out of the rotation.
He wasn't gonna get any playing time.
He ended up being the starter right? Right.
Now, frankly, Latina as games continue to go and we continue to play, he's starting to separate himself from the aged a little bit.
I feel that he is right.
I feel like just I don't watch when I'm watching the games.
I just feel like Fizdale is beginning to trust him or with the basketball trust, his decision making and, of course, trust his defense.
Now I'm a little bit worried about what happens to Dennis Smith Jr went Elfrid Payton comes back, right, because Dennis Smith Jr was one of the guys that beginning of the season.
We all thought it was key for him to take a step forward in order for the next two.
Do well do as well as we thought that they could do.
He's not taking that step forward so far.
Ah, and I don't know if it's I don't know if it's if it's injury, I don't know if he's thinking too much.
I don't know if he's confused about what he needs to be doing.
If he's just not playing his, if he's just not playing without thinking, I'm not sure, but it looks like to me like he's now.
While obviously clearly show most people could see he's now taking a step back.
Okay, and I'm glad that your brother the the keys to our team's advancement that we're talking about receipts because I was never one of the people that that felt like he in particular was key Thio our future.
I thought, like if one of either him or shrink was able to do it and we just had an okay, you know, display from Peyton, then we'd be all right.
You know, I don't think we could get super far without a marquee guy, the one But as long as we have those those two guys to depend on, I thought we'd be all right.
And I didn't care whether it was yes, J frank or pain, you know, occupying those two essential spots.
But now that we see what's going on, it's just everything toe how deep the team is.
The dream is rising to the top.
I'm not going to begrudge him the time that he has been, uh, the private of opportunities because he's either been hurt or or, you know, he's been going through his family tragedy and it.
But what I'm seeing from D.
S J lately is very, very clear loss of energy, and I don't want to say ambition that seems kind of permanent, but the hunger doesn't seem like a salient as it did.
You know, that first that first season, and I feel like just the sort of the ride the roller coaster has been on from being drafted by the Mavericks.
Okay, uh, and then coming over in the trade.
And then everything that happened in the off season and and then this season has taken its toll to an extent where he needs to just find his fault again.
You feel me and and it's gonna take time.
Let's see how much time he has in order to display that.
Because Peyton's gonna be back in the game hopefully pretty soon and trying out some things that we need to see you.
Yeah, I will say this, though.
I will say this though.
He's out there, he's given accurate.
And he's not standing still as much as he used to.
You talk about Dennis Smith, Jr.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but that's true of the whole team.
A lot of guys are moving.
And we've seen that today we said we've seen that a lot more today in this game.
We've seen guys moving off the ball, you know? Not as much standing around watching ball movement, man movement.
Ah, it was offense looked a little more just impressive to me today.
Let me get to Gamma Psi.
We gambled things.
M o you know, it was a good man, was good.
Now I want to ask you because one of the things that you mentioned earlier or not earlier, but in a couple of streams ago is that you still don't see something that you could point to as a staple.
Uh, I think that I'm starting to see it with this screen and roll to Mitch and to enter even to some of the other Biggs, because I'm seeing it a lot.
Well, you know, you know, it's instant right.
So you know, and again you have to see something for several games, right? You know, And it is the caps.
I'm not issued on the cows, but it is the calves ***y it is to cast.
I think I'm not Nick so much better than you know.
What I'm saying is, it is to cash, but they came into the league with the 15th best defense in the league.
So I mean, the 15th best defense, and they were only, you know, they're giving up well I think it was 100.
I forgot what is 107 points per game or something like that, Which was, like, 11th in the league.
I saw Ah, fairly decent.
But a guy? No, I I mean what I saw.
And I texted earlier today with defense, right? That's switching.
And people like everything about switching.
They think that, you know, we got a thing about something by this draconian way of basketball, right? You know, you can switch, but it just depends on the context, like you mentioned last, Vincent, you know, you can switch.
Sometimes you sometimes have to get around that screen, right? I just feel that with a team that with the front court, that's not his act.
Now, today, what I saw today was amazing.
And Tony Crow's point out that secrets are texting about where, even though, you know, Miss got the foul, The end, They in that same sequence.
You saw them switch sort of trap.
And you saw them peak where at least the on a pick a road.
A big guy came, helped out and then ran back to his other men.
His regular man Thio.
Wait for the other guy to come in and, um, recover on the open shooter, which I thought was like it was clinical.
I won't try to find where that place that I was able to watch, like only because I was at a charity.
That's how they probably watched little bits and pieces of the second half, mostly second half in parts of first half.
But that right there, and I know that look, we blew these guys out, but I saw a little other really good defensive stops.
I was like, all right, the hustling and also the smart on defense.
If we could have that night by night tonight and again, This game is so weird because we did things, have a good, good and then things that were like, ****, but it's still good, right? So a guy just ran the score and 30 points in the force half.
I'm not good at all, but it's not sustainable in a sense of that.
I would have liked to see those point spread out and about, but for me to say that things are going more consistently if I sort of spread out amongst other guys.
Then I'll have more face faith in the offensive system versus one guy having a really good game.
But it could work now.
It kind of was spread out.
So this is how it is when you swoop in.
Well, this is hatched eggs. Dr.
I'm not taking it away from our random.
I'm just saying that No, no, no.
I know what you're saying.
I know what you're saying.
You're saying, you know, you would have a little bit more afraid that this going with more spread out.
But you got Randall with 30.
Yeah. Marcus Morris, 23.
Barrett with 15.
Yeah, Damion Dotson with 11 right Guy gets in with seven.
Dennis Smith Jr had eight.
Bobby Porter said seven.
Mitchell Robinson had seven.
It was pretty spread out.
I think it was good.
It was good. But what I'm what I mean, though.
And please, guys don't take it like eye mission around.
I'm extremely happy and he got it.
But I just don't want it so that we're getting winds when, like I said, one or two guys have sir promoted games, right? Morris and Randall, right? And yes, it was spread out.
Someone I'm not Hagen had away friendly by Please take it as there is that when I see this offense, you know this office reminds you of what we're trying to do, but we don't have the point guards to do it or say, because they don't penetrate as well.
I was watching the son's offense right, and the sons of ah, it like Ricky Rubio.
In terms of the penetration, it's It's like, ****, it works perfectly for that team with a bunch of scores.
You have your scores in position.
You'll have to have them try toe, dribble, drive and create as much.
But I think that's what we're trying to what we have.
A point guard basically initiates the offense versus more off ball versus you know, 0.
4 type of play or affected 0.
So what, you think maybe hang out head on tonight, especially with the defense people trying to say I'm Hey, I'm I'm happy one guys, trust me.
I'm just saying that when I look at the offense, it was good in spite I might might take away was good, but I just don't know if it's sustainable, especially the town that we have not.
But as long as our defense is what it was tonight, where you saw guys active on the switch and it's smart, you know? I mean, even I distrust, still sore, and I'm gonna punch him in the back of his head.
Yeah, he had a few plays where he just lagging.
I don't I don't know what it is they needed.
Run drills are basically indiscriminate, random instate, random wisdom and Randall with German Randy Wizard man throughout the whole thing because I have so far today where literally ran was lagging.
And if this guy made a few points and it would've been a closer game, maybe mixed in wind.
But overall, I was having what I saw.
You know, these guys Taj Gibson, which Robinson dots in Frank R.
J. In terms of defense.
Active in Morse two active with hands active with the move and aware You saw guys literally since I can remember which play was.
But I think it was more so much more to Todd Kimmel, who was and their guy wasn't really in the play, and they saw themselves basically like in no man's Land and they hustle back to the guy like it was It was so it was so small.
But the nuance of that fundamental to know where your guy is and not a lot of open guy.
Maybe that shows that whatever it is that's trying, teach the guys in the film room.
Maybe it's getting so maybe you know that he might get fired.
So they they like this guy so much trying example what I saw tonight defensively, if we could keep going out being actively switches and defend that perimeter soon, you know that someone could build off.
Okay, I think that I think that they understood the importance of this game, too.
And with that being said, they've got to understand the importance of every game, not just one game, you know? I mean, just do a couple of numbers out.
You out there for you, Julius Randle.
Tonight he shot about 17% of the shots.
Hey, he had 17 shot attempts, Marcus Moore said.
J. Bell had 30 style attempts.
I mean, doesn't that 10 shot attempts? Kevin Knox had 10 shot attempts.
You only made two of them, but he had 10 shot attempts.
You don't know someone random, Cassie.
Some real quick.
And then do you know what? No, but I'm happy about and I don't know is the growth And whatever the team realize that Randal had the hot hand and it kept feeding him.
Yeah, you know, that's a very positive thing because we've seen guys like career.
We've seen guys like Tim Hardaway in the past.
The guy's on fire.
Like when BZ in that game.
And it's like now I want to eat to And Are you serious? So a they hand It wasn't what I want to see.
What I want to see is they say tomorrow, let's say my what's today? Monday? Let's say, uh, Wednesday, right? Well, we play Philadelphia.
Let's just say I hope his shots going well, let's just say Julius Randle was it because he did a really good job tonight.
So not forcing the issue.
Hey, catch the ball out on the perimeter where he caught the ball.
He doesn't see it, Lane.
He passed it off that the ball out.
Just just a simple pass to the person next to all that, the funny, nothing crazy.
But I want to see if he does that when he's not hitting, because it's really easy to do that.
When you've already got 27 points, right? It's really easy to be like, Okay, I'm gonna get the ball up, But let's see what happens when he's when he's You know, she wouldn't 40% from the field or 38%.
That's why that defense has a coming.
Because when you're not playing well, Cem offensively, you can walk.
Clyde Frazier says all the time.
You can't let that affect your defense because again you could be or for 20 would be having a crappy night.
Or, you know, you know, two for 10 or whatever.
If you could make it up on defense, you know, if you get the If you get the rebounds on the boards, that keeps the game within parameters and you guys win that bad shoot.
Tonight it gets a race.
But the only way the only area that I'm going to disagree with you is you know, you say, you know we can't keep relying on on one guy tow, Have you know 30 points or whatever it is on the night.
But most teams that have a star that star scores 25 to 30 points every night, and they're relying on that guy.
You know what I'm saying? So we don't have that star that's a star.
But that's but that's what I'm saying.
It's gonna be It's gonna be like that nights when somebody scores 25 to 30 points, they're gonna play really well and win.
We don't have that star.
Um, so you wanted to be spread around, But even our teams where they do every star, it's still sometimes to spread around.
But you still need that star to be ableto take the game over.
So it's gonna be like that for our team is gonna be different guys each night.
But what we need to have consistently is that at least one guy is that good every night.
Yes, the problem is you want to see star seen in those situations because so does a lot of coaches is not just physical.
Lot of coaches don't believe when it comes to crunch time, they just go isil right? They don't They don't really rely on Ah, on game play.
On off ball are certain sets, screens and things in a Christian, you know, I'm gonna start seeing them create place for and not just nationally just ice on top of the top of the key.
I'm gonna start Korean Place at the end of the game for Arjun, and I know he's not getting calls right.
But the fact that he can slash so effectively, I mean or kid that young and I know that his left is his bread and butter.
But you would have expected him coming from the cause, game to struggle.
Drive to the basket.
And I mean, he's he's he's slippery, like I gotta put it like you've seen him execute.
And the thing about that, you know, a guy like Randall, he's he's a big guy, is not give his Randall like he's playing extract putting down low, you know me.
So I want to see fizzle.
Look, if he's not gonna run plays for guys like dots, whatever or Ellington to hit a three, you know, the end of the game, whatever.
I want to see more place for for, um for RG because our Jacono so past better off the dribble.
I think that, uh, random and we need a guy who Look, if we don't, you know, Frank is not doing it.
D j is not doing a guy a dribble drive penetrate like John Moran or whatever.
Barrett do that? You know? I mean, like, like, create off of him.
Stop trying to create up the big ticket item, you know? I mean, so we play.
Let me play the sixes on Wednesday.
Semi interesting, because yes, after by, I don't know what their stats are right now, But obviously, if Pete's playing, you know, you're gonna have a hand.
You know, it can be another, uh, Andre examine game where we allow their centers of users.
Thumb comes in a basket and then be able to space on the floor when they want to.
You know, I want to see smart play on Simmons.
Back up off enforcing the shoot, and I want us to see us double team at the right time.
Like I want to see what we showed tonight against the six years.
So, you know, I'm happy with the next guy.
I'm not complaining.
Good thing I don't I don't want to see a guy fireman, even though I don't like this a bit.
Just so ***y guy. Fine.
But this defense, what we did tonight a perimeter.
We have to actually our bread and butter.
No matter if we don't score 100 some points our brother, But is that we're gonna make your field on defense if you shoot it like tonight.
When when Trish and times had that that play on Mitch when I texted you, I think he had about, like, five seconds, 54 seconds on the clock.
If you get the bone, someone's in 547 o'clock and not a private.
And I even a tertiary score.
That's a win. You know me.
And you're not closer, Bassett.
That's when that's how the Knicks should get it.
We're gonna force these guys such try to get it to the guy who way hot.
He has to make a play we're gonna we're gonna have on all the best players, man.
Like that should be our identity.

I mean, thank you for the super chat, but I'm not exactly sure what you were saying.
Here you said my wife's boyfriend and I I'm just gonna leave that alone and let you go ahead and whatever, you know, I don't know.
I love watching this show together.
Can't believe we won fire fits on hold.
Yeah, I think fire faces on hold.
It's on hold because you seem something.
You see some stuff tonight you see in a little bit more of what people have been asking for tonight.
Ah, not in game adjustments.
Just better justice from game to game.
I say that, you know, when learning like you played this team last time, you didn't do this.
You do that now, this team now this time you play them and you won by 20.
But you blew him out because you made some.
You made some adjustments from the last game.
Let's see if we could start getting these adjustment in Game two.
And why? I see you said What's up? Chat with some same.
Let's go mix. Appreciate you, Mrs. G.
Thank you for the Super chat.
Check the gas that you said was six game left until we reach 20 games.
Do we get another press conference from Steven Scott? It's good question.
Um We're coming up to a very challenging part of our season and let's see how we perform.
If we don't perform well, we're getting smacked.
Name maybe, you know, saying maybe we get another press conference.
Well, see, I don't know. We'll see.
Thank you for the superstar, you said.
J could still win Rookie of the year? I think he's still in the running it.
Can we look at a year? You're still in the running? All right, listen, he's played.
If the Knicks start playing better and getting some wind sun than their belt, he'll definitely be in the running for rookie of the year.
But regardless, if you wish, lookit here.
Barrett is gonna be a player for some time.
That kid could just flat out play basketball, and he, you know, he makes.
He plays basketball without making a lot of mistakes on the floor.
He doesn't make like a lot of rookie mistakes on the floor.
It is, he's been placed with a high basketball like you got a good, strong body.
Uh, we got a big future with R J Bear Man.
Big future will get bad and yeah, you know does he would look at the year.
I don't know if you wish will get here now, But the kid is Ah, the kid is serious And he is He's serious.
I mean to say that.
Call a Ladies and gentlemen, 516452246 Margo, Chico! Thinking for the super said he said, Is Randall a better second option? You know, on this team, is he a better second option on this team on another team on this team? I mean, up to this point in the season, Marcus Morris has looked like the best option.
But if Randall and I'm not saying scores 39 30 points every night, right, of course it is going to score 30 points every night.
People going to say he's the best option.
But what I'm saying is if Randall can play the way he played tonight, being patient in the offense, come to him passing the ball when he doesn't see the lanes open, then he am I don't know because if he does that, then more lanes are going to open for him.
This is one of the hardest things to get players place to have.
It's one of the hardest things to get them to understand that if you move the basketball and then you move your body Maur ladies, they're gonna open up for you.
You're going to get more opportunities for you to shoot the ball.
Ah, lot of people believe a lot of players feel like, Oh, I'm gonna pass the ball to him and he's going to get the shot was so many players don't understand, Especially if you are a really good score.
The ball is going to gravitate to you.
Trust me, it's gonna gravitate to you somehow some way, especially if your teammates trust you.
Right? So that's what Randall has to understand, you know? Yeah.
I could move the bark unless I could let other people get theirs off, because eventually is gonna is gonna gravitate back towards me and I'll get mine.
But when it does gravitate towards me because everybody else is getting off, it's gonna be easier for me to school.
I'll be able to go on one on one.
No, Call your love another but Nick's was apartment.
Hey, what's up? Let's go with you.
But I'm chilling.
Don't talk to me, man.
What's your feeling about tonight, man? How'd you feel about the offense? So, you see, it's the things that you think could be a staple of the offense.
Yeah, I'm seeing Ah, I like ball movement.
We're settling on rotation that, you know, I like where the rotation coming out.
I mean, I was I was I was with career, you know, a career.
They're, ah, little Patria for all summer.
But I mean, so we're working better without him.
You know what you're after? Um, I like the fact that we're not feet bring r j like we were much.
I mean, we're letting him flow into the game.
I like I mean, development of Frank.
Yeah, it is a beautiful thing.
We've been waiting here the last two years that we're seeing a teddy product only getting better.
I mean, let me ask you this, though.
Let me ask you let me ask you this.
And I'm gonna ask guys in the video chat, too, because this is including myself.
Were all you know, Everybody seems to be in the greens that Frank is taking some steps forward.
He's developing, um, and becoming a better player.
All right, um, but I want to read some things out to you about Frank Nil Akina this season.
Obviously, he's scoring better, right? He's obviously schooling better.
Well, listen, let's take a look at this.
You tell me, and I'm gonna ask the guys in the check.
What's making Frank Miller Akina a better point guard today than last year? I make and hear me? Well, yeah.
I thought you were talking to the guys.
Want to talk to you with Frank? Um, what I see is just I just be confident.
I mean, that's all he was black and last year.
I mean, that's all he lacked the entire time he came in.
The MBA is confident.
I really think that PBA, you know, going to Fi.
But I'm playing with that, you know, it's been playing and real quality champion.
You know, you can't on a losing team.
You just don't get those moment.
So winning back.
Okay, so So what do you What? What do you signifies? Confidence.
What is it? Tell me what it is, um, he's sure of himself.
You know, when you see them go to the basket, knows what he's doing or he was.
You know, last year when you watch Frank come up the court, many hit half court, he's getting rid of the ball.
Now he's coming down, initiating the offense.
If the guy gets incredible, he rolls out and then sets up the offense.
I mean, if you if you get the laying on a guy, he's going to the hole.
So he tried to yam on Chris on Chris stops.
I mean, that stuff we never saw way were begging for him to just be 1/3 of like tonight.
He had ***, anonymous *** and *** is a little guy.
So every chance he got, he's going to the lane.
If he got a chance to go, he went now he didn't always go in and, you know, over she just throw a bad shot.
But at least he was attacking.
I mean, that is that alone is all we really need from him.
I'm never I'm never looking at Frank to be a ah far score, but I mean, guys like Tony Allen.
So Shane Battier.
Those guys played a long time in the league, and they weren't They weren't like super scores.
They were just offensive dynamos.
And they, you know, they add championship teams because we need a guy who's gonna go in and take that perimeter.
Defend the best perimeter player.
And you're never gonna shut a guy down in the n b A.
That the rules already have a maid for defensive guys to shut guys down.
But if you concern 31 into 26 okay, you win by you and by two.
Hey, that's That's a great night.
You did a great job.
Um, let me I want to ask the video chat the same question.
And I appreciate the call.
All right? No, no, thank you very much.
FBC Come over here.
Uh, am I almost start with you again? I want to ask you the question.
Guillermo, can you hear me? Yeah, I'm okay, baby.
Maybe game. Okay, baby.
Let me see. I'll come too savvy.
Can you hear me? Yo.
Yeah, Um, I'm not as your question.
I want to ask you a question was, though you believe that? Frankly, Latina is, um, coming into his own as a point guard. I do.
Do you believe that? Oh, absolutely. Okay.
What is it? What is it that you are seeing from Frank Nall Akina Day? His confidence is one.
I definitely agree.
You could see the confidence on the floor.
What else is it? Speed.
And when I say speed, I mean decision making speed.
Ok, OK, he's not.
He is not uncertain or or plenty or hesitating like he used to.
Actually, I want to use that word.
There's a lot less hesitation.
His his motions are much smoother than they used to be.
That used to always be, you know, a little split second pause stop.
Whenever he drove the ball, he was kind of stop for a second look around, and then he would take action.
And now you're seeing just moved movements.
Just like just like the play I referenced earlier.
The given go, you know, toe to score that, like the 1st 2 points of the game.
Okay, Like, you can clearly see the moment he decided.
Okay, I'm I'm facing up this matchup.
Okay, instead of trying to cross him, I'm gonna I'm gonna make this this easy pass.
I'm gonna cut across, around, be the him on the other end, okay? And then and then and then lay it up and score that way. And it worked.
I mean, he didn't stop to think, you know, at any point in time, and he didn't telegraph what he was going to do, that was the biggest issue with his offense at the beginning was even when he's not trying to shoot it, you know, and he's trying to be aggressive and driver.
Then he's telegraphing where he's going to do, and then people can prepare and then stop that, and then being stopped consistently would reduce his confidence.
And then we'll just have, you know, it's all self perpetuating, you sort of cycle going on.
Not only is he being the ****e of he's, he's maintaining aggression.
And when you're saying question, you say what we say aggression, like down the stretch, tenacity down the stretch, we're down 10 15 points.
He's still attacking.
If we're up, you don't know, he said, attacking.
He's making good passes okay if he's looking for guys as certain places, all right, I think that, you know, a lot of you know, what people are saying is good.
And I'm glad this shows that next fancied paying attention of watching because even in a chat, Yeah, I see.
You know, a lot of in the I've seen a lot of the same things being said that you were saying as good Knicks fans it paying attention to your watching because I was really waiting for somebody to say, Always taking more shots now.
All right, I was waiting for someone to say that all.
He's shooting so much better now.
I was really waiting for someone to say that, right? Because in actuality, Frank, it's averaging less points this year than he did in his rookie year Is looking here.
9 points per game.
He's averaging 5.
2 so far this season, right in his rookie year.
In his rookie year, Frank took 6.
4 shots per game.
In his second year, he took 6.
6 shots per game.
This year, he's only taken 5.
5 shots per game in his rookie year, Frank shot 36.
4% from the field.
This year's shoes 36.1.
In his rookie dish, Frank shot 31.
This year's shooting, 32.
1% is rookie year.
Frank averaged, Ah, 0.
9 free throw tense per game this year is absolute 0.
8 free throw attempts per game.
Ah, this year, Frank.
It's average in 3.
3 assists per game.
In his rookie year, he averaged 3.
2 assists per game.
All right, so if if you if you're gonna try to base days on numbers, you won't see that because the numbers are gonna almost look identical.
Lt's manufactures taken less shot attempt this year than in the past.
But it is about what you see from him is the confidence is the energy is the fact that he's, you know, he's he's obviously strong on this faster right? They've says almost no more telegraph passes. That's true.
Almost no more telegraph passes.
Now he's still average.
2 turnovers per game.
Last season, he averaged 1.
3 turnovers per game.
The season before.
Average 1.7 turnovers per game.
The biggest jump with Frank Miller.
Kina, this is He averages 1.
Last year, he was 0.7.
The year before that, he was 0.8.
Um, you know, I go see Mia.
I gotta say this right.
As a Nick's friend, right? Who loves basketball, All right.
Understands the game.
At least at least two minimal consumerist standpoint, right? Like you watch 11 losses.
So you derive all your enjoyment from observing the way that the players are developed.
I guess that's what gives you hope. Future.
Keep on watching.
Right? So any next planet should be an expert on how especially the point guards are playing and making the decisions and performing.
Because every time we have a dope point guard, we do well, right every time.
You know? I mean, I haven't been watching as long as some people, so you know, I could be wrong.
I hate along by some people, but I feel like there's a strong correlation between strong, dependable point guard and the way that everything is happening out there, you know, across the season.
Yeah, 100% of the time.
I do want to tell you, man, your camera's looking real clear.
Crispy banner like that.
Thank you, buddy. Thank you.
I appreciate that you got there.
You got the right lighting set up, and you know, a lot of people don't understand.
You know, you gotta have the right light and all that.
You can look good, man.
I appreciate that.
I you know, I've been doing the thing.
I do a soft light from behind, and then I do a stronger life from the front.
I got that angle, and then you could see you see that? Hey, everybody.
Study Study how to get the light.
Right? So that you look good when you come upon camera.
Savvy is doing the work.
That's what I'm talking about.
I appreciate that.
You're no good for the show, man.
This is the next man.
Much our That's that's what I'm talking about.
That's what I'm saying is not a mature Al. We got to do it.
You gotta do it right, you know, say, But ladies and gentlemen, Julius Randall is not the only Nick to score 30 points tonight.
He did this thing in the G League tonight.
30 points tonight in a GE Li.
No, I want to take a look at Biggie doing his thing.
They are handed Ge Li.
Let's take a look. You see Ignited brush.
Now You see him on a fast break number down.
Don't go into the cup. Acknowledged.
Rustic is playing for the Westchester Nix.
You see, Iggy, stand outside the archy.
Let's a go bang.
It is very good.
I think it's good for Gigi to be getting this work down in the Geely.
Ladies and gentlemen, Gigi's goes to the basket, lays it and he had 36 points Tonight.
You see it one more time, goes to the couple game, lays it in through contact.
Big shout out to ignite brush.
Deacon's you seeing again.
Everything is going right now.
It looks like it's going from the right side of the floor to the left. But that's all good.
That's all good.
Ignited was ****. It's on the brake.
Man Thought he was gonna block it, but it wasn't happening.
Aggie from three bang.
Get with the offensive rebound goes back up.
That's ignited best diggers for you, Ladies and gentlemen, a G from three again as deep bang.
He knocks it down a G in the post that turns night. Nice drop.
Step back towards the basket or I wait from the basket.
Another nice move to the cup. Lays it in.
But you see eggy doing it's working.
Aggie Leak is a good thing that the Knicks got this guy on the contract refusing the D League doing his work.
Somebody be ready to pick him up.
Bam! Iggy from three knocks it down, wave eggy to get his confidence up.
Piggy to the cup.
Nice move in this school.
So nice you got to see it twice.
What car? Fraser would say.
Iggy posted a cup.
These guys can't stop a minute.
Julie dealing Ladies and gentlemen, see Gigi get the rebound.
You know, killing the G League is a G man.
That's that's that's personified.
Bigshots ignites, spreads deacons for killing the D League, you know.
And although the Westchester next didn't come up with the wind ignorance.
Miss Diggers did a stick, All right.
Scored 36 points tonight.
Why the West Chester Nick's dropped that one. Ignores most.
Dicus did his thing, and, you know, we can only hope that he's going to get his chance to do that in the n b A.
Play a little bit in the N B A.
We would love to see him do this in the N b a little bit.
Now, I want to ask this question.
A lot of the trade is not getting much playing time.
He was, Did he? We gotta DNP tonight, right? So got a d n p Any chance that you seize ogle planets, the league and Gigi come up and play in the N B A and get some minutes? I don't know where he would fit, you know, behind.
You know, you got Kevin knocks and you got Marcus Morris.
Oh, you got whoever else could play that three spot? Or is he just gonna chill in the G league for this season? What you think about that savvy? Ah, man, I really I want to say I really doubt it.
On the basis of talent But I don't want to deal in the way.
And I see that we have, you know, a bit of crowding and in terms of guards.
So you know, and Dotson's playing like he looked like he really wants to get rotation, so I wouldn't be surprised on the basis of just having to manage our our roster.
And I would That star, you know, players, because we have such a a surplus of players on the roster, but I don't want to see it.
I will say this, though.
It'll be good for him to go back and work on a few a few like fundamental gaps in his game.
You feel me when it comes to, uh, core vision.
And also when it comes to defense also filming Yeah, um, I don't know what's gonna happen with Zo, Man.
Um, I'm just puzzled like I don't know why he's not being played when Wayne Ellington it is being played.
That's and is being played.
And he's playing well, you know, or the minute he's being given.
Uh, yeah, I don't know. I mean Amy dots.
And the only thing that I can think of is this The only thing I could think of is that Jamie Dotson and wait aliens and play the style of basketball that Fizdale wants from a shooting guard.
The only thing I can think of right now, you know, they're not the kind of guards that need to have the ball in their hand and create.
That kind of got that kind of guards that run off screens, right? The kind of guards that, uh, you are catching, shoot these type of things, knocked down three point shooters, you know, catching the ball off their toes and going up bag.
That's the only thing that I could think of, you know? Right.
That's the only thing that that I could think of.
You know, the only thing I could think of it was you.
So I thought that just the tenacity and, like be added Children in his game would be of appeal toe fit of their You know, I really thought that, like, especially look when we first get him, like, two years ago last season.
He was a rookie last year.
You look at how time Time is Illmatic, man.
Yeah, but you write a musical magic man for well, but But I seem like he was the darling, right? Right, Right.
Him and midst, You know? You know, Kevin, not just kind of like the forgot guy.
There was. Zoe. Mitch.
Yeah, It's kind of a weird thing about last things in our first round.
That kind of played like a second round.
That was second round the emerged Thio.
Be like you're You know, this guy could have been the first round, and then I learned the tree and baby and dots, and we're kind of, like just two guys that that showed you that they had something and and you could see them sharpened, right? But then the fire that Ireland's a tree that had and where that he took over some of those games, you know, and and dropped 30 or something like that.
You know, I was like, office doesn't love.
This is I don't know what happened.
I don't know any.
You know, I was talking with someone earlier today on a phone call when I was doing the gay preview were never kind of saying that maybe Alonso trail has lost someone this kind of confidence lost his way, You know, maybe he's not exactly sure what is expected of him on the floor.
No se, I I don't know.
It's It's very hard to say right now.
Ladies and gentlemen, you know what's going on with Joe and wit Coach Fizdale and everything? Um, I don't know.
But listen, Ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks and a big victory tonight as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Garden and they defeated them in blowout fashion.
Ladies and gentlemen, they defeated them.
A blowout fashion.
And you can see I let that commercial go.
I didn't want to let that commercial goal, but here goes the Knicks, Ladies and gentlemen, you got a little commercial.
It is what it is.
You see right off the bat.
Julius Randle finds Frank Miller Akina, Julius Randle's abs, Your 3.
9 assists on this season, right? Taj Gibson with a couple of follow ups.
Put it back times. Gibson.
He always plays well for the most part job.
No, Taj Gibson does his part.
You know, he had 31 points the last time the Knicks seen Cavalli's.
He came out to try to say, Hey, I'm gonna get it done again Score the first few points for the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the next wasn't letting that happen This time.
They won't let that happen.
They did a better job defending kind of ***ton using traps.
Ah, better job not switching office.
You see Marcus Morris move.
Morris knocked down a little mid range jumper.
Kind of ***ton against the Cup.
Lays it off to Tristan Thompson, who puts it in.
But the Knicks? That wouldn't have in its night.
Julius Randle finally had the kind of game that deserves $63 million if he could do it all the time.
Julius Randle once again double step back.
Bang! Knocks it down right to the cup.
Comes back around.
We were just talking about, frankly, looking in his confidence.
That's an example right there of how friendly looking is confident Julius Randle with step back Jumper.
See Dennis McCoy Junior to Julius Randle.
Game pulls it up.
Julius Randle did a much better job tonight, recognizing his lanes a much better job recognizing when people are trying to double T when you get the ball out of the Senate's kind of ***ton Little pull up in the lane and accept 26 to 12.
Julius Randle once again to the cup.
Julius Randle had 15 points in the first quarter, Ladies and gentlemen, 23 points by halftime.
But maybe he was in tune for 40 40 point night.
Jordan Clarkson knocks down that three to try to keep the Cleveland Cavaliers close.
Maybe, Dot said.
We were just talking about that man.
He knocks it down.
That was a two, ladies and gentlemen, but he knocks it down.
Jamie does. He's gaining confidence, too.
He's Oh, he's coming to the league with confidence.
You know, the big shot blocker for the Knicks.
We need that guy down there.
Glad he was able to play tonight.
Offer that ankle injury.
Damien dancing to get to the cup.
He had 11 points on the night, and he's gaining confidence as we go.
Coach Fizdale likes what he sees from Damian Dotson.
Did you see Kevin Porter Jr gets blocked by Mitchell Robinson, baby dot Sit on the brake, pulls it back out.
Naming Dotson kicks it to Dennis Smith Jr and it's made junior bone.
Not many guys going to stay in front of Dennis Me, Julia.
When he's got you one, I want it's victory. Does not look.
Hasn't been looking the same all season, though.
I gotta say Kevin Porter Jr knocks down the three to clear the Cavaliers.
What hot from three tonight? There was 17 but 36 for the three point line. 47.2%.
They're not down another.
They tried to keep it close, but the Knicks they were gonna have it tonight.
David Dots and again to the cup.
Nick's weren't having it tonight, frankly, Latina Julius Randle.
He was happened. Three.
He made three or 53 pointers tonight, the next.
Continue to extend that lead.
She moved Moors is the ball in the post.
Spins back to the basket, Lays it in the Knicks up by nine.
At this point in the second quarter, the Knicks are gonna go up by more Bang Wayne Ellington.
He knocks one down.
He hasn't really been shooting Well, he was one of the guys were brought in to shoot well, along with that guy, Bobby Portis, neither one of Miss Shooting well, from three this season.
They're not down a couple of them tonight right there, Look, unifies Julius Randle.
Julius Randle goes to the cup, This is.
Randall had eight points in that second quarter for 23 by halftime.
As I told you before, the Knicks had built the 19 point lead before they let Cleveland kind of making a run and get back into it just before halftime.
Like the Knicks, up 54 39 at this point, is moot.
Goes to the Cup spends, he puts it in uh, R.
Barrett had me study in a minute.
Kicks it back out to Julius Randle.
Hey, knocks it in.
Like I said, he had 30 points on the night.
The Knicks, up 60 to 39 ***ton.
He goes to the Cup ***ton and 31 points the first game.
We only have 14 points tonight.
He only shot like 37 38% from the field to see frankly looking and kicked the ball off.
Tip it off the Bobby Portis, but a little folder and lane frightening.
Takes it up lazy.
Did you know you might try to dunk on you every once in a while, but for the most part, he's gonna lay it in good lay by Frank Miller. Akina.
But the Cleveland Cavaliers, they're sticking around.
They keep sticking around, sticking around.
Uh, it's, uh, being a 13 point lead by halftime.
Get into the colder.
The Knicks up 15 66 to 51.
They continue to apply.
Pressure is Julie's Red defines our jaybird along the baseline for the dunk.
It gets inside little jumbles.
Fires times, Gibson for the dunk in the next go up 70 to 51.
It's a playing ball ladies general playing nice, aggressive defense and you gotta love when they're playing aggressive defects.
***ed it up the floor.
Have imported junior up the floor.
Folk. Full court.
You don't like that kind of transition defense.
You need better transition defense.
Billy's Randall gets the ball over to R.
Barry, who knocks down the three, and that's what I'm talking about.
What Julius Randle tonight, instead of four snacks previous games, he would have forced it steady, kicking the R J.
Barrett now R J Bear on the break.
Instead of just letting the ball be a backcourt, he goes and takes it well.
Court. Just a lay up 77.
57 X up 26 minutes.
There is garlic.
He knocks down that three.
That's what's gonna happen when you switch.
Big Guy's gonna have trouble.
Gardner's little guys move.
Morris knocks down the mid range and gets fouled.
The Knicks, up 80 to 60.
Imported Julia Bag.
He knocks down from three.
Like I said, they will have from three all night.
But they kept turning the ball over and let the Knicks Bill Daley.
He steps back right after that.
Knocks down the three.
Now is 90 67 Knicks leaving Cavalli's get a rare fast break.
But the next. Drop.
Big. They're up by 21.
Having knocks, he finds Bobby Portis.
Kevin Knox didn't have the best Knights, and for the past few games, Kevin Knox has been struggling just a little bit.
Ladies and gentlemen, right tonight he did have six points.
Pretend from the field. Kevin Ducks.
Dennis Smith Jr.
Trying to find Dennis.
See what's up with him? He's in the game right now since the screen for Kevin knocks to go to the basket.
Who lays it in? Hes got a couple chicks behind the back.
It is it. Toe roll.
The Knicks, up big in the fourth quarter, 96 to 73 the first time all season ever knocks on the break.
All right, Julius Randle.
It comes up. The field comes.
Field comes up the court.
He pulls up at the top of the key 173 Knicks, the biggest lead all season.
That the Knicks, the faster they had to feel good.
It had to feel great.
Julius Randle game.
Little left handed.
He is left handed scoop under the basket. Nice move.
Picks up one or 2 to 78 years.
Garland comes down, he goes to the cup.
Nice little scoop to the basket.
The lead is big.
We've got leads.
Is still trying to fight.
But the Knicks were gonna let him get back in the game.
Take to the basket he lays it in.
Gotta love Artie. Better strength.
Sergeant Barrett, once again Strong take to the basket.
He misses, but Mr Robinson is there for the putback.
Mr. Robinson had eight points tonight.
Seven points and five and eight rebounds.
Tonight was Mitchell Robinson, but Mitchell Robinson, the screen and roll.
What? Mitchell Robertson has become a staple of this offense, ladies and gentlemen, and it looks good.
See, frankly looking.
You could test kept, reported Julia, but he knocks it down anyway.
It's still good defense by Frank.
Drop big here in the fourth quarter, right there, looking again.
Another contest right there.
The guy knocks it down, very similar to what Homeboy did from the Charlotte Hornets the other night.
The odds a bit to the Cup commits Robinson, who missed the dump, but it gets it back and puts it back in, and the Knicks run away with this victim.
Me, Ladies and gentlemen, the best feeling victory of this season with the New York Knicks.
The best feeling victory of the season for the Knicks.
Nice when very good win for the New York Knicks as they defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers and they're on to the next one because the next game is it tough one.
The next one is very tough.
They've gotta play the Philadelphia 76 years as they embark on the toughest stretch of this young season.
Toughest stretch of the young season.
So I want to break this down into three game increments.
That's what I want to do.
I want to break it down in the three game increments.
Well, look at the next three games and look at our chances of winning because we've been looking at the Knicks record and not the record.
We've been looking at the next schedule that we've been looking at, you know so far down the road I have been it's my fault.
I'll take the blame.
But we've been looking far down the road, taken in three games increments because if I were David Fizdale, that's what I'd do.
I'd say obviously you're gonna look at the next game because that's what you're planning for right? But I'd say Let's look at the next three games to see what we could do.
The Knicks a two and three Over the last three games, we haven't been able to put together any back to back wins, but they're two and three over the last three games.
Okay, I take that all day.
This could go to win three or with three games, stretches all the time all season long.
Take it all day.
I, too, want to be over the last three games they beat, Ah, they beat the Dallas Mavericks.
Now they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Now we're onto some tough competition.
The Philadelphia 76 ers and in Philadelphia 76 is doing a tough team to play.
Ladies, gentlemen, without a doubt, you know it.
They are a tough team to grapple with.
How do we beat the Philadelphia 76 is That's what I want to know from you.
What do we have to do? It beat the Philadelphia 76 to Philadelphia.
The Cleveland Cavaliers last night, leaving Cavaliers, won a second game of a back to back.
They beat the Cleveland Cavaliers last night.
I'm going to get back to the Philadelphia 76 is, though.
You know, I skipped.
I jumped forward a little bit.
I'll jump forward a little bit because I'm one of them got the next three teams and they will talk about this.
Philadelphia 76 is all right.
So the next three teams that we play first and foremost, we play the Philadelphia 76 years.
All right, then at do we play the 70 Sixers.
We played a San Antonio suppose.
All right, so right now the Knicks are four and 10 on the season, looking at the next three games and 76 San Antonio Stir Spurs in the Brooklyn Nets.
So I just want to look at those three games right now.
Those three games 76 is going to be tough.
We know that you gonna be a tough team to be San Antonio Spurs.
We played in the first game of the season.
We had a lead in the fourth quarter.
We were right there in the fourth quarter.
We had a lead, the Brooklyn Nets.
We had a lead in the fourth corner right there.
We could have won.
How do you get a chance to play both these teams at home? Philadelphia 76 is we're playing them for the first time.
I want to look at these three games at these three gays will focus on the next three.
Philadelphia 76 is How do we beat the Philadelphia 76 is.
That's my question to you right now, because it's obviously not easy.
They got a lot of size, a lot of size, their team that is expected to be an Eastern Conference contender.
All right, expected to be in Eastern Conference contender.
Demo. Coming to you, man.
I want to know what we gotta do.
How do we beat the Philadelphia 76? Is Oh, I mean, you gotta sit down.
Ben Simmons, Man, that's That's the rhythm.
That's the brittle but a man.
And when when he when he's able to get the ball around with the ball around the guys.
Look, I think Joan means a solid player.
I like him a lot, but he can get into bad habits where he's trying to take Freddie perimeter shots.
He's not impulsive Lot, you know, is it's just cool as he is yet trapped in a double.
Team stopped and make that passes.
But Ben Simmons, you know this is got time and time again.
You know, one thing Robinson is that he doesn't allow himself to just lose just taking the ball from top of the key or just take the wallet from half court over.
He's a guy that he moves around.
No, no, he's not a good shooter, you know.
He likes to get the ball.
We can just get cut to the basket.
Where is decision to send the block about? So I think that Nick's apart. Gonna go zone.
I'm gonna go to three zone and try to force.
Maybe got like, Tobias Harris is shot to **** about the gym, which could hurt him.
But, you know, to buy satisfied yet their best for church area territory.
Score, touch your best player.
Not a schoolgirl, their best player.
But it seems to me maybe you gotta shut down, Vincent.
You cannot lie to be a factor.
But you just facilitated and getting, you know, the second chance rebounds, you know, driving to the basket.
Because once that happens, But when she gets in Well, the fast break, man, it's kind of hard to stop.
It was 67 you know, hybrid of players.
Stop incidents harassing.
You know, if you say about top of the key.
You know, back off enforcement shoot.
You know, he has a ball on fast breaks.
If you can force him to one side to kind of slow down his momentum.
Well, maybe even try to trap that will teach him or you say, but again, open space in the middle of court.
Jolan Beeman Double T even when he's trying to make that move down a little double team right before you make a little turn that the past of the double team him forcibly making, forcing me to become a perimeter shooter.
A good part is you came permission.
Yeah, but he can not.
Suppose I will always do what I say or abuse.
It was just my fear of your replacement back in, but just force him to become that type of player.
That's not really what he is.
You know, you could do it, but sometimes falls in love is shot as we're gonna get back on the block.
So was my keys. It'll be okay.
Um, city, how do you think we beat Philadelphia? It's gonna be rough, but, um, play good defense.
It our free throws and then make somebody go nuts like make somebody go ham makes somebody try to play Hero Bowl and shut down the rest of the team.
Whoever else it is, it doesn't matter which player it is on Philadelphia that we can make him go ahead.
But make somebody make somebody want to be the guy that wants the drop 50.
And I'm sure everybody else down and do what we've been doing these last couple of these last two games, although we lost one, but, like I said, had our free throws.
Don't turn the ball over as much as we've been going and, um, trust, trust them.
But we need to do those aerial solid like he's a game.
Makes somebody else go ahead.
Make somebody else feel like they need to be the star of this show and light up the night and shut everybody else down.
I would be, though I would be.
Let me take that.
I would be okay with, um and be dropping 45 us get the w you know why? Because a So what? He dropped 45 to guess what we got to win.
So let's for somebody Oh, that's for somebody to suit up and put the put the cape bone and want to play a rowboat.
All right, all right.
And, you know, that's kind of the strategy that I used that I wanted to do against the Dallas Mavericks.
You know, it is kind of is make look a dotage kind of go one on one.
Take the rest of the team out of the play out of the game on Mongo.
Chico thinking with Super Chat.
You said Dyson plays more defense and that think is better from three.
Well, you know what, baby Adoption is definitely gonna play a role against the Philadelphia 76 years at the Philadelphia 76 is listen to the starting line up.
They got a tough start lining up to deal with.
You got Ben Simmons, that point guard Josh Richardson, that shooting guard Joel and be that center.
Our hope for that powerful.
But it's a buy ourselves that small forward.
Those are some guys to deal with.
Ladies and gentlemen, you know, some tough guys deal with Ben Simmons so far this season.
Now he's averaging 30.
He's shooting 56.
9% from the field, 0% from three, which means he's not really attempting three point shots.
We need to use that to our advantage.
We've got to use that to our advantage, so I'm really gonna be paying attention to see what kind of strategy.
What kind of strategy is Fizdale Goto used against Ben Simmons? Ben Simmons? Josh Richardson.
He's dead shooting guard is shooting at 42% from the field, is averaging 14.
8 points per game, though you shoot with 31.
That's the guy that we gotta watch.
Guess you're Sammy obviously meant Simmons is gonna be a frightening Aquinas assignment.
Al Horford, Al Horford Powerful.
We just picked up from us from the Celtics.
He's average of 15 points, seven rebounds a game, shooting 44.
4% for the field, 31.
Poor sister game is, well, foul for one block.
And then, of course, you got to buy his Harris.
Last game, he had 27 points to buy a serious other season.
He's average of 17.
67 point nine rebounds, 3.
5% from the field.
But trust me, that 25.
5% from three is not gonna last long with Tobias Harris.
I want he's gonna catch fire and we don't want it to be against the Knicks.
Then, of course, you got Joel and beat right.
The Wallabies a monster.
He's averaging 22.
9 points per game, 11.
4 rebounds per game, 2.
9 blocks per game, 46.
9% from the field.
And he's shooting 38.
Joel and Beat is only 8.
9% from 3 80 percent from the free throw line they have is 1.
4 blocks, then a beast of a team that we got to deal with.
There's no doubt about it.
These guys are a beast of a team, you know, when they started five, you know, you know, how do they match up with our starting five is good.
It's gonna be tough.
Not gonna be easy.
76 8 and five on the season, abs 109.
8 points per game.
They give up on Jin Ah, 106.
7 points per game.
2 assists per game.
A lot of those cysts.
You know, obviously coming from Ben Simmons.
There's six of one in the Eastern Conference to want to know where the Atlantic Division.
So this is gonna be, you know, it's gonna be a tough game for the Knicks.
Gonna be itself. Game for the Knicks.
What I want to see from the Knicks in this game is I want to see them come out and fight, all right? If they don't win, it's not gonna be the end of the world for me.
I want to see him come out and fight.
I want to see him come out, uh, and, you know, be there.
That's what I want.
I want him to just be there, give himself a chance to win.
You know, I think we've got to use some strategies.
We gotta find some strategies to use against Ben Simmons.
The problem is, you know, if you're gonna put frankly Latina on Ben Simmons if that's what you're going to do.
You gotta worry about Benson is backing down like the Latina, right? You gotta worry about Ben Simmons.
Um, you know, scoring are frightened indicating a post because he could do that.
You might want to put Marcus Moore some Ben Simmons.
You know, maybe that's a strategy that you use.
Maybe you put Marcus Moore some Benson's look. Ben Simmons.
Ladies and gentlemen, he's He's 6 10 £240.
You're probably gonna have to put someone like Marcus Moore some bed Simmons.
Or maybe you put, uh, you know, you're probably not gonna put Julius Randle on Ben Simmons, but I think it would make sense to put Marcus smart son Ben Simmons.
And then you could put and you know, then you could take and you could put Let me see the You aren't Tobias Harris.
You can either put frightening Akina or you could put, um or you could put, uh, r j Barry onto by says you could put one of those those two guys there.
Josh Richards said he's a 65 guard.
You know, whichever one of those guys guards Tobias Harris.
The other one could guard to buy, uh, Josh Richards, you know.
So I think you got to think about it that way.
Forget about the positions.
You're gonna have to match him up with size.
You're probably gonna put, um, types Gibson on Joel Embiid.
You probably put Julius Randle on on Ah, Al Horford.
Tobias Harris either, you know, frankly, Latino or RG Barry.
And then on Ben Simmons, she got Marcus Morris.
And then whoever's left gonna be guarded by, you know, what's his name? They're shooting guard jobs with Justin guarded by frightening Latina or ours a bear.
And I think that's the way that you got to go about it.
That's that's how I think you got to go about it.
I think that's gonna be the smarter move.
And that'll be the smarter move.
Instead of putting lightning takina on Ben Simmons, I think Brennan Katie is just too small.
You say it's too fast for more.
I don't know if he's too fast.
He's 6 10 I mean, it was kind of fast.
He doesn't play with that much speed, you say? I think that I think that.
I think Marcus Morris would be okay.
I think putting Frank nearly keen on Ben Simmons might be the bigger issue.
In my opinion, I think it might be the bigger issue, because, um, hey is going to back if you put frankly, Lucchino, R J.
Barry, He's 6 10 He's the size of a powerful.
Would you put him in the post against Franklin again O or R J? Barry's gonna back him down.
I think Marcus Morris has better size.
I think he'll be able to stay in front of him on the perimeter.
You know, he'll do.
He'll be okay on Oprah.
Moment of staying in front of him.
Who else you gonna put your Not gonna put Julius Randle on.
Um, it has got to be Marcus Morris.
That's my painting.
Things got to be making s'mores it to a couple phone calls.
Call your love another.
But Nick's was popped.
I'm chilling, man.
How you feeling? Um, they're really Well, just have a quick question.
Yeah, the question is, are two this season? What do you think about what do you think about thinking and try to get the first overall pick? Obviously.
No, this isn't We have a problem with foreign car.
So I was thinking about probably for yourself and try to get a limo a ball, or Cole asked me to keep from New York.
I wanted your opinion.
And you're inside of that.
Yeah. I've never been a guy for thinking.
I just think it promotes bad habits.
Um, you know, you know, you may get you may get a team to that that does well with it, but I just feel like it promotes bad habits.
I rather, you know, promote winning.
Oh, you know, trying to help you develop the guys that you have on your team.
I don't feel like tanking develops the place that you already have on your team. Your young guys.
Frankly, looking at Kevin knocks, you know, those young guys, I don't feel like it helps them to develop, you know, because if you're taking and you're trying to lose on purpose, you're probably not working on good habits either.
And you're not getting in those type of games.
Especially when you get closer to playoffs.
You know, be the next I'm not saying they're gonna be in the playoffs, but if they could put themselves in a position where they're at least waiting for a spot, the mentality, the preparation, all that stuff is different, you know, saying and with the way things are now a days.
I mean, the Knicks had the worst record in the league last year.
They still ended up with a pick.
You know, you look at the elegance.
They jumped on the way up to the first.
What hasn't it? In the pelicans, They jumped on the way up to the first pick.
That is sure on the house is possible, but it would be better basketball.
But, um, I hopefully gonna shoot for 25 games.
The reason why calling brother this question is watching the NBL and obviously watching the metal, elevating his game.
I feel like, you know, the next year, Dr thank you.
That will be the now after that, all of this makes we're looking for I don't know.
It's just I feel like as a point guard, he had, like, the whole entire package, you know, shooting long range is passing.
Even any training for even being the floor.
I just feel like Dustin.
Like having Romelo Frank are So that's the reason why I called you Nak you Oka You think Melo will be right player? Or what do you think about Cole, etc? Just in case if we do end up with the first or second overall pick.
Yeah, well, you know, I haven't had a lot of time Thio just go ahead and really study those guys.
I mean, I've seen I've seen them both play, but I haven't really broken down and study them.
I say this This what I'm going to say after these Next.
You know, the next month and 1/2 we'll have a much better idea of what the Knicks are looking out for the remainder of the season, you know? And and I'll be looking at that, but I'm gonna take some time, you know, when it gets to that point, it studied those guys, but I haven't really looked at him this much.
Uh, that much right now, you know? So I couldn't even answer your question.
No, no, no, it's OK.
I'll call back within a couple of months and we'll be where we at with the, uh, sounds good, man.
May we see it Are by ace.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, do me a favor.
Subscribe to that channel.
Smashed that, like button for me, please hit the like button.
That, like, share this out. Facebook.
Well, you're on YouTube, but share it out.
Facebook instagram twitter where you share it out to share it out for me, please.
I appreciate it.
Uh, my people who signed up to be an NBK ambassador look for email tomorrow so that we could have a meeting on Wednesday.
I'm gonna have a meeting.
You just talk about some things that some plans that we have in place of some things that we want to do.
Alright, Eh? So look for that in ah, Central Conference call number and all that kind of stuff for everyone who signed up to be an NBK ambassador so we could talk some things we could discuss some things.
All right, the next plane to Philadelphia, 76 on Wednesday, and it'd be nice to see if we could put together a two game win streak.
We haven't done it all season long.
I haven't done it all season long.
All right, let's hope that we can get it done.
I see Nate just joined us in the chat.
Uh, so I'm gonna give him a chance to say what he thinks about this Philadelphia game, and then I'm out of here.
Is my throat hurts.
You probably can hear that. I'm sick.
Not feeling well.
So, you know, Nate madman thing about the 70 Sixers game, and we can get this win.
Um, see, I disagree with you.
I think that I would put the Latina on Simmons.
More soap for the fact is that Simmons does not utilize the size you say post up, but I rarely ever see in post up.
I mean, obviously are.
It's just at the top of the key or driving to the basket.
I don't guillotine.
You know why you don't see him? Post up is much because tease put a bigger person on him, so Oh, they didn't have a shot either.
Right? But but what I'm saying teams they usually match up size wise, so they put a bigger, you know, forward on Ben Simmons and then Ben Simmons like, Okay, I gotta forward on me.
I could take him to the basket.
That's why you're gonna see him post up much.
I've seen the post up.
He's got supposed I rather take him in the post and have him shoot that work in a shop.
And, you know, you know, then you know him on the top of the key.
You know, I think I think you're not giving crypt ranking of credit, man.
I mean, look at Luca. Daunted by me.
This is total of Simmons is, but he's about his biggest Simmons.
But this is the thing.
I mean, Luca, But he's any Still, he still had a triple double every game.
Did he plan right? Starting to look up 37 dances game? No, but it is going to be a different style because Ben Simmons can operate out of the post.
You could still get his assists out of the post.
They could score.
See, Luka Dotage is 68 6768 Ben Simmons is 6 10 24 to get it.
I get it. I get his collar.
But like I said, his offenses terrible man.
I mean, really, all you have to do is just put a body on him and put your hands up.
And more likely, he's gonna miss the shot.
Have one of those.
He can't seem to get to the cup.
But what I'm saying is, Frank, he's he's gonna post Frank Miller Akina up.
I'm telling you because yes, you huh? But he could be a shoot within eight feet, though.
You can shoot with an eight feet, you know, he's I just read it off.
You know, he's shooting 56% from the field.
He doesn't shoot threes.
That all dunks. Probably right.
He doesn't shoot threes, right? But he could shoot in the pain.
He could score in the paint.
He knocked down a three on you, but he could score in the paint.
Well, here's the reason why I say Frank's gotta play.
Simmons is because I want Morris on Andy, and Morris is an enforcer, and he could get under indeed, skin.
And that's how you do it and you have to get under his skin, get the frustrate him, and I don't know if Taj Gibson to do that, I think Morris can because Morris is that type of I I I mean, I think that's what reason one of these what we signed, Morris, this this soft season was to go up against a guy like an indeed.
You know, it's a rough a mother, you know, getting this head.
I mean, I mean, you know, we put Marcus Morris on KP because Mark, because KP is much thinner and Joel and bead, right? And KP doesn't post up.
The Okapi wants to shoot the ball on the perimeter.
Dorland beat is gonna post, and he is huge.
Have you seen the size O Joel and B, But you can split.
What I'm saying is, you can frustrate and B because N b can get more can get get bothered very quickly if you watch games in the past.
Especially when he had Horford on him at times.
You know, our white side, he would he would get frustrated by that.
Well, we'll see.
I mean, who who knows what's gonna happen? I mean, honestly, we're this a mismatch for us all the way around.
I mean, it's gonna be tough toe win this game.
I'm not saying the next can't do it, but, I mean, I don't see it happening.
I think the six years he's too talented, and I mean, I don't watch the game tonight.
Um, but I'm just, you know, I don't know.
Did you see it? You see? Ignites.
Get 36 on the west.
Seen it? I've seen it.
I've seen it in L A good A man.
Maybe he needs to get some playing time with us.
Um I don't know, man.
I think that Ah, I mean, I think that we're probably going to see, um I think last year, as a matter of fact, last year Hold it.
Ho Did he put on Ben Simmons last year for God.
He put one of the four words I've been since last year.
Remember who it waas? Um, no.
He put know of our lay on Benson this last year, But the thing the thing is too Symon, I'm a Simpsons.
How simple is that with big guys? I mean, you can usually, you know, they hate smaller guys, you know, they hate pest.
And I think I'm telling you, man, I think Frank.
I mean, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong.
But I think, Frank, man, I'm not saying you put on my one on one the whole time, you know? Help him out.
But, I mean, I did that.
I'd give it to the strength, man.
I mean, because we don't have a known, but only at that size of that kind of athleticism, you know? I don't know, man.
I don't know. I know.
But, Nate, I appreciate it, man.
I'm about to head about here.
And, you know, I do see, you know, there's no dumb user, you know, person in the channel.
Listen, ladies, gentlemen, you're gonna have stupid people like this all over the place.
Obviously, I'm gonna report this to, uh I'm gonna report it to YouTube, and hopefully they'll do whatever they do.
But do the best we can to try to ignore these people when we can hopefully keep them out of the check, right? You know, I mean, you know, you know, people are gonna come in and do all this crazy stuff.
Let me, um What can you do about? He got stupid people all over the world. No.
Just long as you don't take it as everybody is the same.
You know, everybody's gonna do.
You know, whoever put this in there, you know, it's going to be other people that are in this chap that would support that because and not Okay, this is just one dumb, stupid person.
Okay, but anyway, I appreciate you guys for being here with me and, you know, hopefully it doesn't happen again.
All right? But the Knicks played a Philadelphia 70 Sixers tomorrow Wednesday night, and it's gonna be a big one for us, man.
Let's hope Let's hope that we can go get this victory.
I'm not looking forward to be a victory.
Not going to say it's gonna be a victory, but I want I want a fight.
I wanted to be a good game.
I want to see a lot of the stuff that we've seen tonight.
I'm saying we see a lot of the stuff that we've seen tonight.
Even if we don't win the game, you can say, Hey, you know what played a good game? We fought.
It does improvement.
That's that's improvement.
And we played Philip.
Then we play San Antonio when we play Brooklyn, both of those games at home games that we can win.
Those gays for sure knows that.
And we can We can win those game for sure.
Anyway, ladies and gentlemen, the great he said, old man.
I'm sorry, Seymour.
Is that idiot saying those words? Um, don't worry about a d grant.
I'm not worried about that guy, you know? I'm saying, you know that, guys, that dumb knucklehead, whoever I'm not worried about that guy, I I appreciate you guys for being on with me.
I will do a game preview tomorrow, so make sure you check out the game preview.
I'll be doing that game preview at two o'clock tomorrow.
All right? So make sure you check me out, you'll get a notification, make sure you subscribe to the channel so that you can get that notification.
Ladies and gentlemen.
All right, I'm out of here.
