Oh, welcome, everyone.
We're going to, um, just be re capping MBA Sunday for November the side of the 17th.
This was fun Sunday.
Some really exciting games like the Celtics finish.
Um, the Lakers went crazy.
Um, there was a lot of just good, good stat lines.
Full teddy. Nice. Feel good story today.
Do nice end to the game for him as well.
So it's gonna be recapping what happened today who stood out the most and all that good stuff.
Some women just pull out the MBA ab.
Uh, we'll start with the first game.
The story of this game was definitely Tobias Harris breaking out of his slump.
Hey, put up 27 542 and two.
14 um, one of two from three.
The six years just blew out the Cavs.
Hey, looked really good out there. I watched his highlights.
I was getting to his spots like he usually does.
He was confident shooting the ball.
And, um, it's overall.
I mean, there's not really much you can really take from that game.
Everyone else just they had don't did scores across the board, but That was definitely the story of that game was to buy Sarah Skin back to his winning ways, just really looking like what the Sixers paid him.
30 year to bay the second game.
This was a lot of fun today.
This was the Celtics, and the King's, uh, just had a really fun finish with, but he healed, hitting a go ahead shot and then Marcus Marcus smart the end barely missing a floater that reamed out, uh, body healed went absolutely off.
He had think, 36 he had 35 62 and four.
He hit seven of 12 from three.
Jamal Murray said.
I actually also hit seven threes about a separate game.
That's definitely a story of this game, I think.
Looks like he had the stat of the game lined up the game.
Yeah, yep, definitely was behind the line of the game.
The Celtics have the have been really good there now, the second best record in the league.
Because the Lakers also won tonight.
They're also one of the best offense Been defensive teams in the MBA.
Looks like they're still for a very, very, very, very good without Gordon Hayward.
They're gonna miss him for at least I think it's six weeks.
Um, is that really does suck for them.
But Campbell Walker, Like I said in my stream earlier today, he's really enjoying playing with these guys for the Celtics on a winning team with winning culture, and now they're gonna be just fine.
They're definitely be Top 34 seasonal in the East.
The King's, um, getting back to their winning ways again, which is going to see with the urn talks and Marvin Bag Leo.
They are five and seven.
That's with a really rough start.
I think they were, like one in 505 to start the year.
So now on a five into Little run right now, if we have, if we hummed on Phantom, if they had here on Fox and marking badly to be a part of this right now and they weren't off to that slope star, I think people who predicted them to be in the playoffs or in the playoff hunt would be a lot more confident about it.
But I mean, what the hell is gonna play like that? That's all we need.
Ah yeah, the Wizards in the Magic, and that's what I was saying earlier.
Helpful tennis career high, maybe in minutes, but definitely points 8 to 12.
He threw down to Monster jams one to end the game off of steel to basically seal the deal on in transition through Down of Thunder Slam. He had two threes.
Vukovich had, like 30 and 17 and six.
Of course, they played good defense, But for some reason, the Wizards this year actually really, really good offensive team.
If you look at whether Tours and this year it's like always, they lose that they put up like 1 2130 in the Rockets game, they put up like 1 54 Lost? Um, definitely not what I was expecting from this team.
I think they're just flat out bad.
I think Bradley Beal shouldn't have done what he did, but I'm not gonna tell a man what he should do with his money in his pockets.
Um, it sucks because he's such a good talent.
I don't even know what he had tonight where he had 34 6 and eight.
What is he? Everything on the season? 29 47? And it's just all gonna amount to nothing.
I know the Isiah Thomas feel good story was cool to start the year, but since he's been starting, he's been horrible.
And honestly, it's tough.
He the labrum tear that he that he suffered across all sports, especially basketball.
There's one really good recovery story, and that's the markets.
Aldridge, who's known to play such a boring and slow, methodical style, which fits into the Spurs system.
And that's why I think he's aging so well because he's playing in a system that also pleased that.
But labor terrorists, which is right in your hip, which to ah to and college football may have just suffered.
It's a debilitating injury to come back from just flat out.
If you look at the recovery and the outlook for the injury is absolutely terrible, which sucks.
And Thomas honestly, since he started, well, I'm gonna imagine shooting below 40% 44 but that's off to hops there and 41 from three, but still 13 and six and your team's three and eight, and he's also he's always gonna be one of the worst offenders.
Even when he was healthy, he was so I think it would be more suited for a six man roll just going out there getting buckets.
Definitely the story from that game.
He did not. That's not the standard.
The one stat of the night settle into the night.
But it's definitely Marco folds.
I think he's gonna have that Derrick Rose type treatment Dr his career, where we don't just everyone loves to see him do good.
And it's just because something that he loves just been taken from the number one pick showed up training cab three years back and just couldn't chew, and no one knew why.
So you a story? The night, uh, looks like either.
A moocher bill got the static in the line of the night from that game.
The next game was the Denver Nuggets, first in Memphis Grizzlies.
They blew him out.
Jamal Murray hit seven threes.
He had 39 points.
I wonder what his stats are for the year I've been paying that much attention to the Nuggets, I probably should, since I picked them to be number one in the West.
Not really a jump from last year, which is what I was expecting.
Inspecting a jump from last year.
Pullman's Yokich had a really tough game.
He only shot some.
Yokich will have those games where he just won't shoot.
I didn't even have that many assists.
By his standards.
He had eight normally, when he only shoots seven Charger expecting him 12 13 14 15 assists.
Because you seem that he's going to be really, uh, looking for his teammates.
But it looked like Jamal Murray had it all going that game.
I have John Durant do.
Yeah. I didn't want any of that game.
I zero interest in it.
To be honest, definitely this game to add zero interest in this one.
Uh, it really does suck honestly.
And I'm LeBron Finn really does start to see the Warriors.
And this is what I told my friends too.
We're talking about this Last year I always said that dynasties don't just crash like that.
Don't This is all just fall apart.
They just crash and burn.
We talked with mine.
He felt with bulls result with nuggets.
How the nuggets? The Celtics back in the day. You're good.
Good. Good group for a great great, great. And then you're ****.
I know that's what they're dealing with.
They dealt with Kevin Durant leaving.
So here's the four or five defensive perimeter defenders that they lost and some of them were two of them with the best of the best shooters to Kevin Durant via free agency.
Clay Thompson via injury.
Shaun Livingston retired.
Yeah, it was four.
Two way players that were vital to their success replaced it with D'Angelo.
Russell and I thought they were going to score a **** ton of point to be a bank the playoffs this year, but they got off to a slow start.
Steph Curry broke his hand.
Dream on, uh, did something to his thumb.
Uh, Willie Cauley Stein was hurt. Start the year.
And who else? D'Angelo Russell right now is also out with a sprained thumb or something.
So they called the injury bug.
They're the worst team in basketball right now, and I'm a Knicks fan.
So it's cool to say that the Warriors of the worst team in basketball, But I don't know about you guys, but I would love to watch Steph Curry MVP Steph Curry come back out this year, and that's what I was hoping for, So that really sucks.
They lost to the pelicans.
Who if you saw the injury report for this game, you wouldn't be asking where the **** was playing like the only two starters.
That and once I'm gonna start the only starter.
I'm pretty sure that played for the Pelicans Mystery holiday.
J. Red**** was in there and he started.
They were easily the best players in this game.
Eric Paschal heads 30 and seven, but I think of Drew.
Holiday had, like, 28 7 Red**** had 26 I believe.
I mean, I had no interest in that I big LeBron guy.
So I watched the last game tonight, and this game was a ton of fun.
If you don't follow me, I'm co director of basketball for MBA on raft.
So So I just tried to do it for around the league a lot, but I mostly watching Nicks and the Lakers.
Um, because time spares for a college kid, them also recovering from ankle surgery.
So I should have got to do to make sure that recovery is going well.
So I really doing games.
Actually had to sit down, Really? Watching ****yze a lot is any Knicks Lakers games and then the poems that they're playing so MBA unwrapped on Twitter.
Uh, I always feel like I am six, actually.
Always have highlights posted then.
And there was a tongue this game that works.
Um, the first quarter, uh, LeBron threw down in hell.
You from Danny Green, which is awesome.
They went up 30 to 6 to start the game than the Hawks went on.
No run, I believe.
Cut it down a little bit.
The Brown went to the bench after that, and when the Brown went to the bench, it's been a problem all year.
The net ratings with LeBron on the bench and only answered to gave us on for that duo.
Um, the numbers are not good.
I found pretty sure the Lakers have a net rating of liking negative seven or something.
Something like that.
It's definitely negative.
Um, with LeBron just on a tee off.
It's like plus in the opposite direction.
Maybe like five or six both on.
It's like close 12.
Fantastic on That's what that's definitely was a problem in this game I hate plus minus.
Well, when you're talking about players, Uh, especially just because I feel like it's a little misleading at times.
Thank you. Smile like that. I appreciate it.
They've coming in and for once, that tip.
But he took its appreciate it.
Um, yeah, plus minus is not my favorite because especially here, just watching box scores.
It's really not truly telling because this guy could be plus five, let's say, for a game in a really close game yet to put on the floor during just over on where teams just making constant stories.
Uh, was he really the problem for the rest of the other team? Hot.
So I feel like if you watch the game and then the plus minus numbers are telling you what you're I saw, that's the best way to go about it.
And in this game, LeBron was plus 30 and ah yeah, yeah, I watched the entire game.
It was definitely accurate at that point.
He was plus 38 that's because after the Hawks cut it to like nine, they put the brown back on the floor and they went up 25 down the half and then they have Danny Green.
I don't know if you guys saw through town put back slam that no one was expecting.
Hey, got the hell up for I think he's 33 34 years old.
Um, he threw that That thing that held down that was awesome.
Definitely highlight up a post that over at MBI unwrapped.
But, um, we're all this close 30 in this game.
And if you watched the game is extremely telling.
Hit six stories tonight.
Showtime was back. He was throwing some lobs.
Carnality, You stalling that down? But Kobe was in the building.
He adopt up Kobe immediately hit three right after.
If there's one thing LeBron really conscious of honestly, it's how thio he knows how to put on show he knows how to make a highlight to go viral, maybe even for his instagram.
I mean, if you'll follow his instagram, he loves himself.
Um, as soon as he doubted Kobe, I was like, All right, he's gonna try dunking on somewhere shooting right after just to make that a clue for ****ing bleacher.
A border house of highlights.
And that's what he did.
But Ramos, plus 30 80 was plus six in this game.
He struggled greatly on the Brown, picked up the slack.
And that's the awesome part about this duo as well as they fit on the court together.
Um, if one's having a bad game, Maurine the Bronze Favor if eighties having a bad game, LeBron couldn't really pick up the slack and lead them to a win. Anything.
Davis, That's, um, that's that he still has to just I mean, you've been in New Orleans with really bad teams, is best players and weren't DeMarcus cousins.
He tore his Achilles Drew holiday.
Uh, most people, if you put your holiday second best player not really doing too much in the playoffs are getting to the finals.
Um, his starting shooting small for the entire time was Solomon Hill.
Um, yeah, he's just not really accustomed to having that role on a winning team on the spotlight next to LeBron James in Los Angeles.
So that's gonna come around.
I mean, it's just going to he's that talented and the shots still not following, and it's going to he's that good.
His shooting numbers from mid range this year a little bit more down than we're accustomed to.
Those we're gonna come back up.
Regression to the mean is something in the real in the MBA, I was saying earlier to, um, when the Rockets were the worst team defensively in the MBA.
Made zero sense where the men lost five games.
Regression to the mean.
They've been the best defensive team in the NBA during the last five games.
So you can't get too carried away or too worked up.
Um, in the beginning of seasons, in any sport, especially basketball, because how long it truly is in football, you have three bad weeks.
You have very limited time.
Honestly, if you're if you're playing a tough conference, especially to turn it around, you know, open three for basketball.
Oh, the sky's falling all over react, and then they go on a five game winning streak.
You look dominant.
So regression to the mean and all sorts of the real thing, especially basketball.
But yeah, for sure, LeBron was the line of the night story of the night.
I guess someone must want, say, Kobe.
There was a really cool moment to with Dwight and Kobe um, just happen each other up. Just smiling.
I mean, I wasn't there. I'm not them.
I'm gonna imagine that one through their heads, like, man, we problem.
Which we should have done so much better than we did that season.
But that was fun.
Uh, Trey Young continued his strong play.
I didn't realize it was such a blowout, I guess.
And he realized that Trey Young had 31 in seven 50% shooting.
I mean, that's gonna happen to a lot of Eastern Conference teams this year.
They're gonna come in because I feel the Eastern Conference teams usually do.
When they go on the road to the West Coast, it's normal.
You have the Warriors, the Kings and the two l A teams.
When you have the two other l A teams back to back, which we've seen with for a few teams already this year.
Um, Raptor had the Russia.
They went one on one, but for the lower.
And teams like the Hawks, they're just gonna get curb stomped in those games.
Um, but that's this stream.
I'm gonna go live in a little bit too, Like 30 minutes.
Just have work to do.
Um, you want to join me on that one? Just come back in, like, 30 minutes.
We'll be talking a little bit of the Clippers, Paul, George and just all their players around the league.
So thank you guys all for coming in.
You all enjoy your MBA Sunday, Ana, that you're getting salad for the tip.
Have a good night of room.
