Yeah, Ready way are we'll have fewer people trickling in here when we start talking.
Some, uh, injuries.
NFL's best football, all the great stuff from drinking a Wisconsin amber.
I'm from Capitol Brewery.
My wife and I went there a couple weeks ago on Brought back a an entire shopping cart worth of beer because their beers that good.
And we're, uh, hop heads.
If that's what you wanna call it, that is what the kids are calling it.
This wasn't a special, but he goes out with you.
So we're drinking that you talk about some injuries.
And speaking of it seems as though my fantasy alerts told me that Mr Risky has a hip injury.
That's why he was benched for Jase Daniels could have fooled me.
Uh, considering the games complete snooze vest.
This was a total of the scored.
A total of 24 points.
Two teams? Well, I guess one Team Ram's last year who would have scored, you know, 17 points in 1/4 have somehow regressed to a team where they're hard to watch, so that's neither here nor there.
I think it's a really interesting things, really interesting regression for the Rams on, and I think it's accompanied by Todd Gurley's regression.
I think that both both both situations, um, sort of our go hand in hand.
There's probably a lot more coaching that go and scheme identification that goes into teams meaningful.
But you know, uh, a lot of times, you know, with talking early, especially with this degenerative knee condition that's also, you know, he would be good.
Mason players should never down.
He's not doing that.
Sure, he's not doing that this year.
That reduces the work load, and it's coming moral stories it's come with with a very, very watered down off.
So that's the point of what I'm trying to say.
So now that if you get bored in here, let's talk about some injuries that happened.
So it's a particularly one that happened today.
So Marlon Mack, who burned his hands with the reports, are Marlon Rose hand and depending on the severity of the condition, he might need to get pins in the hand.
Um, I mean, but even if we zoom out and talk about what it actually what's actually going on, we don't know for a fact, so your hand is the reason that our foot and ankle and hand specialist is because the hand is so intricately complex.
There just hundreds of structures in there.
You have different bones, different joints.
Um, you have different connective tissue.
You have different function of everything.
I feel all the bones in the joints and ligaments I go into the hand.
There's a reason that that hand specialists and foot ankle specialists exists, and that's because they dedicate their entire professional textual rear, too.
Learning the hand or learning the foot ankle very complex.
So to know exactly what's going on with Marlene Lost Max Hand, I would be I would be lying just to conjecture, and I would be guessing.
Well, I can tell you, is this his dominant hand? And because he has a fracture, it was known a hand.
It's going to be there.
More than likely you're going to need to do some type of A mobilization was essentially just means they're They're either gonna put him in a in a split or a cast, their immunity, something toe.
Let that bone heal and depending on how severe it is, if it's if it's displaced, which means they need to go and put it back together.
If you have surgery for that, then that's, uh, he's gonna be on the shelf a little longer than than most.
Most people would want to see him out now the high side or if it's a metacarpal, which means anything here, basically the middle of your hand up until it gets to the fingers.
Anything here in the middle of hand. Metacarpals.
It's a little scary.
Things get a little sketchy.
It's the range for these hand fractures, based on 3500 people that they went back and solve the ranges between 16 and 42 days for a return to sport when people fracture their hand.
So depending on what Marlon Max got going on, they're going to memorize.
He'll he'll speak to the surgeon there, trying to figure out exactly what's going on, what their best course of action is for the time being.
Obviously, he's not gonna play on Thursday.
That's too quick turnaround, even if it's even if it's a a minor fracture.
Quote unquote, you're lying.
And that's just bottom line.
So that's what's going on.
Martin Marlin mag uh, keeping your eye out for anything that you might hear.
If you hear metacarpal, then you won't mind when I started thinking this is more severe than we wanted to be, but I think even thinking worst case scenario, he has a chance to be back by playoff time.
That's the old Merlin.
Let's talk about the Thursday games a little bit.
So James Corner Just mystery, sir.
Deante Uh Freeman Frank Deante friend Johnson Johnson all left game due to an injury.
So juju and and deonte obviously left because off a concussion.
And then James Connor left because he re injured that a c joint.
I'm super concerned about James Connor the rest of season.
He was out for two weeks with this, A C injury.
I'm not totally sure he actually dislocated and they had to reduce it.
But I do know that he reaggravated the exact same injury and at the very least, you have to hit the reset button.
He's gonna be out at least to the same amount of time that he was last time lasted the last time he injured this a C joint, probably more so in terms of fantasy stuff.
You're gonna be without him for the next few weeks, at least.
So hopefully you're able to pick up Jake and Sam was just not a lot else to discuss their don't expect to have him.
UH, don't expect to have him next week.
And for the next few weeks.
James Connor, Lettuce Juju I'm a little concerned about Junior. This is his.
Third could do***ent a concussion What I saw and once you hit the three mark so one into.
Not that in concussion is good, but if you have one or two, generally speaking, that's okay.
What research shows is, once you get to the third compression and you have a master chance to getting another one and another one another one, your symptoms get worse.
It's just having more than two concussions is Uh huh I hate to sound dramatic, but it really is sort of be beginning of the end.
If there's, there's a worth.
If there's a worst phrase t use, I wouldn't use that.
But essentially, it starts to get a little dangerous.
So with Judaism and monitor his symptoms.
He gets a little mini by a week, so hopefully he'll be able to be.
He'll be able to play in Week 12 and have resolution symptoms, complete resolution of symptoms.
It's not a guarantee.
It's not a slam dunk that he will be back by week 12.
So from here for that fiance, Jones and I haven't been able to find that he's hasn't had a history compressions, either.
He was bleeding out of his ear, but that was probably due to his helmet or something happened.
The force wasn't big enough.
I don't think it was from what what.
I have seen what I perent about the injury.
It wasn't probably due to that the hit man gave him a concussion in the first place.
So that's the deal in the street.
Let's move on to today.
Some of the some of the players I want to talk about.
Miles Sanders was a freaking bus today.
I needed him and he did nothing.
I've traded him out for Debo Samuel, who went off going to use That didn't happen.
Whatever Jordan Howard.
I'm not entirely sure what's going on.
Jordan Howard, other than they say, Yes, Stinger, which in reality a stinger that last two weeks is a nerve injury term injuries take a long time to heal.
And considering that he was not cleared for contact this week, he's got yet another chance to be out began next week.
So that's something to keep an eye on, something to monitor.
It doesn't mean they will be out for sure.
But this is, you know, they signed Jangi.
So definitely something to keep an eye out for, uh, Jordan.
Howard might be out another couple weeks.
Well, Fuller was surprised.
Inactive surprised me.
Maybe no surprise to you, but considering he was limited in practice, I mean, it was a surprise because it seemed like he was training in the right direction.
It seemed like he was training in the direction to play, and then he didn't fly to Baltimore with team.
So what that tells us is that they're taking an extremely slow I wrote. I wrote about this.
Um, I wrote about this and one column today, this week that it was around this time, I think, was around.
Week 9 10 11 ish.
Well, Fuller came back from hamstring injury, went onto the field tours a seal.
Are they directly connected? No way to prove that.
Are they more than likely connected Yes.
Simple because the hamstrings like I talk about all the time.
The hamstrings are instrumental in protecting a sale.
So you have hamstring injuries.
Like Will Fuller does.
They're gonna They're gonna bring him back slowly.
And I thought that was the right move.
What about school? Obviously feeling he has a chance to come back after the bye week in week 13.
Don't we count on it.
But I think that I think I'm gonna be about time.
Where? Where? Bill starts to think about bringing him back at the burial at the very latest.
Okay, let's see here.
Freeman, Dante Freeman.
I think it's an issue.
Took a turf toe.
Expect to be without him, Probably this week.
I think that by the time week 13 rolls around, he will be up and ready to go.
Awesome, Hubert, we 13 is actually probably the first realistic chance he has it coming back as well.
However or no, we 14.
We 14 for Hooper.
Austin Cooper is gonna be the first time he has a realistic shot at coming back on the field unless he just has a freak rehab.
I could always happen.
Don't don't don't expect to have awesome Hooper, though.
Falcons transplant fantasy players Until we 14.
It's just the reality of the situation.
He's had this injury before it held him out two games.
If it's the same me, it's definitely gonna hold out two games, probably longer.
George Kittle Super non specific injuries.
So I don't really know.
I can't say for a fact that he's gonna be back next week, but it does.
It wouldn't make some sense.
I was saying all week that he'll be back after the 40 Niners buy and Week 12.
Nobody corrected me, and I was.
I didn't realize the 40 Niners don't go on by and we 12 it at an early buying before.
So I think I confuse him with the Cardinals, who they're in the same division.
So because the Cardinals do gone by and we 12.
So the thing about George channeling his teammate Matt Bria is that their injuries are super not specific.
And like I said, I don't necessarily.
I don't receive him being out again next week, but I could be wrong. It just depends.
Kittle has a lot of stuff going on and considering that they're picking type of division are new, they lost ahead ahead.
So they're in second division right now.
They just one today.
I know I would expect them to rush him back, but I think Morita, who is literally made of iron and steel, should probably be back to Employers Song right here.
Tyler Lockett and Matthew Stafford.
So I think it's a beer here.
Who? Tyler Lockett.
A lot of people have been asking me why, thank you.
Tyler Lockett In the hospital.
Tyler, like a had a bone bruise or ah, muscle Bruce, This super super deep muscle Bruce.
And when you and I run into a door frame and we bruise ourselves is really just affecting the superficial layer of skin our skins like pretty thick.
So bruises go down deep into the muscle and are extremely painful.
Sometimes bruises are severe enough.
Trauma is severe enough that blood and oedema and inflammation immediately plus area.
That area starts to increase.
The pressure area increases.
The blood can't go anywhere.
The blood is stuck in that area.
Your body completely runs out of oxygen.
In that area, it uses up all the oxygen, and it's just carbon dioxide flowing in the area.
The reason this is dangerous is because the second that your that your body in the area, that muscle starts to run out of oxygen.
What happens is your muscle starts to die and literally physically waste away so those pieces of muscle actually can get to your kidneys once again to your kidneys.
You get this condition called arrived a mile Isis and your kidneys can't process that.
And it's extremely dangerous ink, and it kills people.
And 15% of cases.
Once people have a right to my list, it's super, super serious condition.
I don't know for a fact if the reports definitely didn't say that he had compartment syndrome, which is what you call that.
But they didn't keep him overnight for two nights, which is serious, right? That's something that you consider relatively serious.
Even if they were just monitoring him for it, they felt the need to keep in 48 hours.
So that's something to consider.
With all that being said, I don't see time in the locket coming back this week.
It was that severe of an issue, a regular contusion can actually keep players out for one or two weeks.
So imagine having a contusion so bad that you have to go to the hospital for it.
Stay two dates now.
Obviously, that's sort of an estimation.
That's an educated guess.
It doesn't mean that he's not ready to go because we haven't seen a practice reports.
But if you see that on Thursday, Tyler lockets, you know, does not practice.
There is a limited for adjustment.
Then he's probably not gonna play and we 13 are. We fell.
So that's what's going on with Tyler locking the Seahawks.
So hopefully the Dukan get back.
Uh, love Tyler Lockett pulls a little special little place in my heart.
I've said it over and over again because, uh, he was spectral champion.
And that was my freshman year of college when I went met my wife and just a lot of emotions attached to talk to Tyler Lockett.
Indirectly, in a weird way, so awfully gets better.
Last year, Matt Stafford.
We're report that said, um, Matthew Stafford is dealing with a six week injury that might not actually keep him out for six weeks, though, so I don't really know what that means.
I don't know what they're trying to say.
I don't know what that report when the report came from.
I love reporters and give me a lot of information I need, but it's It's funny, like it's just funny that disconnect between writers and people like me who are thinking more clinically oriented.
Sometimes you just don't match very well.
I don't know what that means, but what that does tell me is that if there's a time frame on it, it's something structural and ifit's something structural.
That means there's usually a protocol for it, or at least the estimation.
I'm nervous at this point.
Masters effort does have a small fracture in one of the vertebrae of his back.
If he has a small fracture in one of the Bird Braves back then, yes, that's there's nothing you can do for that.
Assigned from the surgery, that's very, very last line.
You do not wanna have surgery for small fractures like that.
A lot of times, what you want to do is just let him heal.
And since you can't cast back, the only treatment you can do is not move.
So not move and in a very extreme way.
So don't play obviously NFL football to get hit by an NFL defense climbing.
That's the deal.
So Mantis effort, they said, won't mind not be out of the six weeks.
I wouldn't expect to see Stafford again, at least for a few weeks if he really has this condition, because side effect of having a fracture like that is actually your muscles.
Lock up your muscles, don't know what to do that, and your brain tries to protect you so your brain tells your muscles to just lock up intense up in that sort of muscle spasm.
It's so obviously very pretty, serious condition, pretty serious situation.
And it's the same injury that kept him out last year.
So I think you're gonna take it slow with him.
They're not going anywhere.
There's no reason to rush in back.
They just lost again today.
They're completely out of the playoff race.
I don't see a reason to bring Matthew Stafford back more quickly than they have to, so that was there.
I just ran through a ton of them, so to summarize, for those of you joined a little later, Marlon Mack if it's a metacarpal injury, could be bad.
At least it could be two weeks at least.
That he's out, if not more of the range on that is all the way up to five weeks.
But I I think that if he doesn't need surgery, I think that if he doesn't need painting or a reduction of that fracture that he could be back within a few weeks.
Three or four weeks.
I'm don't expect to see him for the next few weeks.
Juju has a chance to come back and playing with 12 not a slam dunk.
Jordan Howard might be out another week.
That's gonna be a touch and go situation we don't know for a fact would.
Fall will be back.
They're gonna take it slow with him.
Freeman Another week, Cooper.
Another few weeks, Tyler Lockett won't be a slam dunk to come back.
Ketel Breed and not a slam dunk to come back.
Stafford Expect to be without him for the next month.
All right, that's it.
If you have questions, usually all do pretty good job following on Twitter at a student doc.
I answer almost everything.
It comes through there, that's it for today and join it
