It's been a while, um, was just streaming earlier this morning.
So if you join the stream earlier this morning, good to have you back.
Thanks for joining me.
And, uh, thanks for coming back here after a big when, um felt good today.
Um, it felt like a very productive game.
A very overall just bills in command.
They lead the entire game.
There was a point where it really wasn't a point where I was worried.
Yes, were playing the Dolphins, Not the best team.
But we're able to put up 37 points.
Um, that's the most we've had all year.
So that's that's a positive.
The offense really got going today.
The offense looked better than they have.
Ah, yet this year.
So that's something that you really gotta you gotta build off of for the coming weeks.
I mean, they're in a great spot right now, huh? They're seven and 31 of the best records that they've had in quite some time.
We've seen some some weak game Cem Cem week seasons from them.
So it's definitely going to see it's it's encouraging.
It's fun to watch.
Um so I'm gonna I'm just gonna break down everything that happened today.
Um, I mean, it was fun.
Uh, Josh out. Look great today.
Uh, the offensive play calling really turned around.
They did a great job today.
I think Brian table looks a lot better than he has in the past.
I've been I've been down on dave a lot this year.
I never thought that he looked great this year.
Um, I never thought that, and I kind of blamed him a lot for all the problems.
But he played a smart game today.
Um, he had Josh through of all 33 times and he had the bills were on 34 times.
So I mean, it's it's perfectly really the only complaint that I had today was special teams.
I guess they gave up a few few big, big grown backs from Hakeem Grant.
I mean, yeah, he had the kick return, so that definitely hurt.
I mean, if they didn't, if they would have stopped him on that kick return probably would have been 37 to 14.
People maybe would have said, Hey, look at that. The bills dominated.
Um, I the complete shutdown game that you would expect facing a Dolphins team like this.
So it's it was encouraging to watch today.
Um, it was definitely good what we needed from last week after the tough lost Thio Cleveland.
And then we got Denver next week.
So I mean, there's a lot to be excited about with this team.
We're sitting at 73 We go to Denver next week.
Um, Denver is, surprisingly, not as bad as people thought they were.
I guess, um, they kind of They kind of choked up big time today against Minnesota.
They're up, I believe 20 points at halftime, and they ended up losing 27 2 23.
So maybe they'll be down a little bit for next week with Brendan Allen being their head quarterback right now, their defense is strong, but I think that the bill should be able to get it done at home and move on to 83.
And that would be amazing because as of right now, the Bills are still sitting in that fifth wildcard spot at seven and three.
Um, Houston lost today, so that means that Indianapolis kind of took over the division for them.
So Houston and Indianapolis that kind of going back and forth, We gotta worry about Indianapolis.
I do think Houston will run away with that division, but Oakland is losing or the Oakland is winning right now.
Pittsburgh obviously lost on Thursday Night Football, and Tennessee had a bye.
So there's a few teams in the mix for that wild card.
I do think that the Bills will hold on to that.
That first wildcard spot.
Um, but overall, I mean, if you look at this game, there weren't too many things to complain about.
Josh Allen finished 21 for 2021 for 33 256 yards could not quite get to that 300 yard mark.
We've been waiting to see Josh.
I'll get to that 300 yard market.
Has not coId happened yet? So, um, But I mean, you can't complain with the game that this guy had today.
21 for 33 to 56 3 touchdowns, one of those touchdowns rushing.
Um, Alan also has six consecutive games were escort at least two touchdowns.
Katie, thank you very much for the thumbs up.
I really appreciate it.
Hopefully, you enjoyed the game today as much as I did.
Um, but yeah, Alan has six.
Consecutive is nothing with the court.
Um, he loved your nap during the game.
I'm sure you did.
Um, it was a riveting game.
Should have kept you awake the whole time, but that's all right.
Um, but I mean, like, I was saying, Brian Table had a great offensive.
And she loves you. High V.
I hope you're watching the game today, but I don't think you're I think you're at the Children's museum, so I hope you had fun.
Um, thanks for watching, but, um, yeah, I mean, the offensive coordinator, Brian.
David look great today.
He really kind of he turned it around.
He had a bad that year so far this year.
I was not a fan of him at all, but he had he had the bills, were on the ball 34 times, had Josh down, throw it 33 times.
So perfect balance right there.
Um and I mean, you can't speak enough at what this defense did today.
The Bills defense held Miami two just 23 yards rushing.
Um, and that's between 123 That's between five different guys.
That there was only 23 combined yards.
Rusher had nine yards today.
So I think that all this all this talk of the Bills run defense being one of the worst in the league.
Yes, they had a few bad weeks.
Yes, they're not facing the best team in the Dolphins, but to hold the team holed up there, the best runner to under nine yards is pretty incredible.
They had tailing blobs with nine yards, Hakeem Grant had seven yards and Patrick Wired had seven years as well.
So not one running back had more than 10 yards rushing.
So that's pretty incredible.
Andi, flip it over.
Devon Singletary had 15 yards, Um, or 15 carries, and he had 75 yards rushing.
So a good game from him.
I would really like to see a lot more from Devon Singletary.
He has not proven a whole lot to me.
He's had a few good God games, few good runs, but nothing too spectacular from him.
Um, I I really need to see a whole lot more if he's gonna be our future back our feature back going down in the future.
Um, and then Alan Game.
It's for our second leading rusher, seven carries, 56 yards and that Frank or had 11 cares for 27 years.
So I mean, run game wasn't really huge thing in this game.
But I mean, I'll tell you who was was John Brown.
This guy continues to prove that he was worth every single dime that we paid him in this offseason.
John Brown was finished with 99 catches for 100 and 37 yards and two touchdowns.
So, um, I'm really glad that John Brown is on this team for Josh.
Ah, he really kind of Is that that savior for him? The guy that he always looks for? I mean, he had 14 target targets today.
Ah, few drops food, bad passes.
But all in all, I mean, nine catches, 137 yards, two touchdowns.
You can't complain.
And I'm very glad that I started him and fantasy this week.
Um, and then second leading receiver was Cobra Cole Beasley for four catches, 38 yards.
I really like to see a whole lot more from from Colby easy this year.
Uh, he has not proven to be the guy that used to be when he was in Dallas, But maybe maybe he's a second half type of player.
Maybe you will see him come around a little more going down the stretch for the playoff push.
Um, Michelle, thank you very much for the 20 20 tickets and a thumbs up.
I really appreciate it.
I love you guys back in Buffalo there.
Um, but other than those two guys, I mean, John Brown and Cole Beasley, they They were really the only source of offense for must Dawson.
Knox had two catches today and that nice touchdown.
Um I mean, there's a nice touch down 23 yards.
I hit him over the middle.
Eso he finished two catches for 32 yards, so I mean, they got everybody really involved in the offense.
Tyler Kroft. We saw with the catch today.
He had a couple targets, But other than those guys, I mean, I'm not sold on Isaiah Mackenzie.
I'd really like to see them activate.
Do willing a lot more.
We saw as a Mackenzie get a lot of targets today.
He had six targets only had three catches.
But we see we saw a few times today that Josh L would try toe attempt those one on one balls where it was just drown Brown and the quarterback of the safety covering him.
And we would see Josh Ellen's kind of throw it up and hope that John Brown comes down to it.
And that's not really the type of wide receiver that John Brown is.
He is the type of wide receiver that will burn a burner cornerback and beat of deep downfield for 60 yards.
We're not going to see him go up for a one on one ball and just kind of Moslem and take it over his head. He's not.
He's not tall enough for that, Um, and he's not really strong enough for that.
But that's the type of player that Duke Williams is.
Duke willing to 63 That guy's a these are big beast of, ah, wide receiver.
Um, I mean, he loved the CFL last year in reception, so I would like to see him probably get a few more shots.
We saw him in the Tennessee game.
He had a touchdown.
Then we saw him for a few games after that.
I didn't see a whole lot of them after that.
But he's been inactive for a few games here, and Isaiah Mackenzie has been getting a lot of more a lot more starts, which I'm okay with seeing him in there.
Um, it's just He's kind of like he's like a John Brown, where he's that quick wide receiver that can, um, get a burst of speed and aero upfield and kind of break off some big yardage.
But we're not going to see a whole lot from from him.
Other in the passing game, it's usually maybe in the run game.
Jets sweet, kind of, Ah, those cut those types of plays, But I would love to see them kind of inactivate are inactive job.
So Robert Foster can't think Ah, and that, uh, put Robert Foster on the bench and start Duke Williams.
Duke Williams is a big wide receiver that Josh Alan can really trust.
I think that's what he needs.
Draft played a great game today.
He always plays kind of his best games.
When it comes to playing Miami, we see him two times a year, so he gets a good chance against the weaker defense, and he proved that he could do it.
He finished with 256 yards, like I said, but that some of the throws that he was making were pretty incredible.
Um, but on the flip side with the defense, the defense played good today, even though they gave up the three touchdowns they got to Ryan Fitzpatrick seven times.
So they sacked him seven times today, which is a season high for us.
That's what we need to do.
We need to try to do every game we might not be able to all the time, But I mean, you see Tremaine Avon's Matt Moore on all those two guys were all over the field.
They shared a sack. Today.
They have a sack Starla tool. They had a sack.
He had a good game as well.
He's kind of been the guy on the defense where a lot of fingers been pointing out for the weakness upfront to hear a good game today.
Ah, at Oliver had his first kind of NFL sec.
Um, first real one.
He had his first SEC against Washington.
It was kind of a trick play where it wasn't the quarterback and he got to the backfield.
But this was his first true sack, where he got some backfield got right to Ryan Fitzpatrick.
I think it might have been a blown block, but that's that's something else. That doesn't matter.
It's still counts.
So Jordan Phillips continues to produce this guy.
His seven sacks.
He leads the NFL, uh, for defensive tackles with sacks of the year. So yes, seven.
Um, Jack Lawson got in there.
Jerry Hughes got in there.
Those guys played a great game.
Cory Lujan has kind of a dumb play.
He had that that pass interference on Ryan's.
It's sorry roughing the passer on Ryan Fitzpatrick, but he you had a good game.
I mean, I think he's definitely helping in the run game.
Like I said, we held him to 23 points.
So are 23 rushing yards, so you can't complain.
Fitzpatrick did finish that 323 yards throwing, But you're gonna expect that Ryan, since Patrick's a good quarterback, he's a capable quarterback.
But if you're constantly getting to the quarterback and having seven sacks and shutting down the wrong game.
You're gonna win the game.
And that's exactly what happened today.
And that's what we need to see every week from this team.
Ah, we see them going up against Denver next week, So not an easy match up.
Ah, they've been kind of surprisingly good this year.
Their defense, we kind of knew was they were going to be good, but they're they're tops in the league for defense when it comes to pass defense.
So, um, we really need Josh Allen, too.
Josh has been very smart these past four weeks.
He hasn't had an interception.
He had a few fumbles, but he needs to be very smart.
Uh, we need our wide receivers to get more open.
We need them tow, find more space when it comes to Manda man, because it seems like they have a lot of trouble creating space.
Um, so that will be a real test test against a good defense next week against Denver.
But the Bills defense should be able to ah, handle the broncosoffense.
Brendan Allen has been kind of He's been strangely good.
We kind of came out of nowhere.
Nobody really expected him to do a whole lot, but, um, Brendan Allen has been very good these past two weeks.
He played against Cleveland, He beat Cleveland.
They went up against Minnesota today and they almost got the wind.
But not quite so, uh, Phil's definitely have to be smart against the Broncos, but that could be an easy win.
Um, if it's played right and then we got Thanksgiving and we go up against the Cowboys.
So that's not a That's not a loss.
I don't I don't think that I'm writing it off as a loss yet, for sure.
Um, a lot of teams have been given the Cowboys from troubles this year, so I think the Bills could definitely do that to, um, get the raisins.
I'm a positive bill's friends, so I'm gonna say we got a chance.
But it's gonna be definitely tough.
Um, so we're looking good going down stretch here.
There's there's a lot of surprises in today's then, uh, this week.
So far, I mean, Arizona's only they got a three point lead with 40 seconds left against the San Francisco 40 Niners, so they've been getting them in trouble this year.
But I'm just worried about the bills.
Right now, there's 773 should be eight and three next week on def.
The Patriots could lose the today against the Eagles, which it is, I believe 17 to 10.
Um, New England is up.
What if they if they lose bills, we're only one game back in the division.
So you never know with the NFL, So keep it locked in.
I will be streaming later on this week to preview the Denver game.
