e Allow me to clear my throat really quick before we jump into this all rights.
What is up? Ravens flock, a k a.
Ravens Nation, A k A.
I don't know what else you call of Ravens fans.
I guess that's just the basic.
Ravens get the Dub again.
And it feels like every single week, Man, I'm just coming here on the live stream on SportsCastr or on YouTube wherever I'm doing it, and it's always after a w.
I can't complain.
I really cannot complete.
I am happy that we keep getting these dubs, man.
And you know what shat out to the media shadow to anybody that does power rankings Shout out to anybody that, you know feels the Ravens aren't for real.
You can keep making excuses all you want.
Please make all the excuses you want.
I'm sure there will be some for today's game.
I have no doubt in my mind that they will find something to talk about.
Um, there's gonna be some excuses for this win, But guess what? You can keep making excuses and we're going to keep winning, baby that's all that matters.
We're going to keep winning.
We are eight and two, eight and two.
I never would have imagined that we would have been at this point in this season, especially after facing against the tough stretch of our schedule, which I've been talking about for the longest time the Seahawks, the Patriots and the Texans all riel teams.
At least that's what they were called before they faced up against us.
Now I'm sure the Texans are going to be called a mediocre team, Um, because they just lost to us.
So that's always what happens.
Every single time a team loses to the Ravens, they become a mediocre team.
That's what I've seen.
So now the Texans are gonna become a trash team.
That's what everybody is going to be saying.
Um, you know, it's It's just what I've come to expect this season.
It is what it is.
I mean, not much more than you can say, man, it's it's crazy.
The scoreboard speaks for itself.
Now I know it was a huge, you know, difference here in the score, but it wasn't a perfect game.
You know, there was a lot of things that did go wrong.
Especially early on for the Ravens.
Um, especially in the first quarter.
So Justin Tucker did miss a field goal.
I think it was like a 43 yarder that he just it hit the postman.
Um, so there's that.
There's also we attempted a fake field goal, which just didn't go well at all.
There was that as well.
Um, just a bunch of a bunch of different things, you know, dropping balls.
Lamar was a little bit off, you know, It felt like the chemistry wasn't really there with some of his receivers.
Um, quite a few issues in the first quarter, especially where it ended to.
But then we really started getting going there in the second quarter and it was 14 to, I believe at half.
The Texans did attempt to kick a field goal, and they missed the defense for the most part.
Played pretty well.
Ah, there was a couple of, you know, questionable calls there.
A lot of people said that the Marlon Humphrey Place should have been a DP I I think that it probably should have been.
So I'm not gonna take that away from me.
If you guys want to say that it was a DP I that's fine.
I'll agree with you.
It was definitely questionable, and I was surprised it didn't get called.
Um, but even if they did give that to them, it would have been, what, seven.
So they would have scored seven.
They scored another seven.
They scored so they would have scored.
There was to DP eyes that should have been called, according to Texans fans, I'm sure, or really any of any NFL fan.
Um, so if you spot them, those two to DP eyes say they would have scored two touchdowns, so it still would have been, what, 41 to 21? It's not like it really would have changed the outcome of the game.
So I'm sure that a lot of people are gonna be saying that those penalties really did change the outcome of the game.
You know, even if we spotted them 30 points, they still would have lost.
So, um, just utter domination.
So let's take a look at some stats, guys, let's go into some stats here, and then we will continue talking about it. So does Sean.
Watson did not have the best game.
He was under duress pretty much the entire game.
He went 18 of 2900 and 69 yards.
No touchdowns to one pick.
Um I mean, what else can I say? It was just utter domination by the defense.
The secondary was playing great.
I mean, unless you're counting like De Sean, I mean, dish on DeAndre Hopkins nuke.
He did get open a little more than you would like to see.
That's for sure.
Um, you know, he was He definitely got a lot of work there, no doubt.
But I mean, aside from that, they really couldn't get anything going.
Will Fuller was out, so I'm sure that will be an excuse for sure.
Well, we didn't have all our weapons or they didn't have all their weapons.
They're gonna beat them again in the playoffs when they face off again.
Ah, so you know, it is what it is.
But the Shawn Watson was under duress all day on Lee.
100 and 69 yards passing I mean, one more can you say And I believe he got *** seven times if I'm not mistaken, which, by the way, is just crazy, cause it's like we have a pass rush all of a sudden.
Where did this come from? Jude on.
He was bawling out today, man shouted to Judah, And I think he does get a game ball from me.
Of course, Lamar will get one as well because he's just been bawling out every single week.
That's what he does, you know l j eight.
But, um, Carlos Hyde had a decent game.
He did have that touchdown, which I missed.
Unfortunately, because about 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter, it was like I think it was like 34 to.
And then CBS decided, Okay, this game is over.
Let's just switch to the Broncos and Vikings game.
So unfortunately for me, I did.
I did miss a good chunk of the game, but it did end up coming back on for me a little bit later, um, in which I did get to watch the rest of the game.
So unfortunately, I did miss a good chunk and I also missed the touchdown that the Texan scored.
So I don't get to, you know, give my thoughts on that, unfortunately, but I guess Carlos Hyde was the one that scored the touchdown.
So, so, so congrats to him, I guess.
Um, they did only have 122 rushing yards and a touchdown.
So pretty good from the.
For the most part, I did talk about the Texans, had a rare, very good rushing attack, and we needed to stop that because we could not allow that the play action game to get going or the Russian game to get going, because then it could have been detrimental to our defense.
D Hop did okay, like 10 for 80 yards.
Zero touchdowns, though, so he actually had seven receptions for 80 yards, no touchdowns.
So early on, I felt like he had, like, 45 receptions in like the first quarter men do.
Shawn Watson was just going straight to Hopkins every single time, and I'm like, cover this dude, man, cover this guy and you know, like I said before the game, I said that Hopkins is probably going to get his and he did get some work.
Not a lot, you know.
So it wasn't to Ah, you know, it wasn't too disappointing.
I mean, we did, only we didn't even allow 200 yards through the air.
So it's it's a pretty good ah, pretty good game from the defense.
I mean, overall, just a great performance.
Uh, not much to say.
We pretty much shut down their offense entirely.
Um, you know, this defense has really been starting to come into their own, and that's that's what I think makes this team so dangerous because you look at the offense and you're like, Yes, it's a crazy offense.
It's **** near unstoppable.
But guess what? Now we have a defense to back it up.
So this team is looking very dangerous, like I really do feel like it's super dangerous, like contender.
Dangerous, like I truly do believe it.
And you guys know, man, I'm always I'm always trying to hold back. I'm never trying.
Thio, you know, be overconfident in the team.
But this team is something special. Men.
This team is something special.
You always see like we saw a couple of years ago, the Eagles, they would be dominating opponents, beat went on the year that they went to the Super Bowl and won the Super Bowl.
You look around the league.
Is there anybody else that's dominating opponents like we are? No, there isn't.
The Ravens have been dominating and not just like beating him beating opponents.
You know, we did have that little bit of a stretch where we kind of a lot of people didn't take us for serious because we lost the cheese.
Then we lost the Browns.
Then we barely beat the Steelers, and then we barely beat the Bangles, even though we dominated them swell.
Just the scoreboard didn't show that.
So people are like, uh, they're good, they're getting wins, But I don't I don't think they're legit, you know? They're foreign to look at us now, baby coming off four huge winds and we're eight and two dominating teams.
D line surprised me for real with no Michael Pearce. Yes.
So I talked about that in the preview game in the actually in the pregame that I said I wasn't too concerned about Michael Pierce being out on Lee because we did make the signings of Justin Ellis and D'Amato Peco and they came in and they just, you know, like I said, they fit right in like a glove, and that's what I expected to happen.
And, you know, they they performed.
They did what I expected them to do.
They clogged up running lanes, you know, they did their job.
So that's awesome.
Um, Michael Pearce.
He is a very good player.
I just think that you know what we use them as is pretty easily replicable.
I'm not going to say that, you know, we don't need Michael Pierce, but I'm just saying that Peco and Ellis did a great job, so for sure.
So let's move on to the Ravens side of things.
Lamar Jackson had a great game.
I think he started off 11 of six.
A lot of those were just miscommunications or he just wasn't really putting the ball in the right place.
It was in the first quarter, man, that first quarter was definitely troubling.
Hopefully, you know because usually we start off hot and we just keep scoring and we keep scoring.
But this game we kind of just started off really slow on offense and ah you know, shadow to the defense for having our backs there in the first quarter because if we had allowed some scores, you know this could be a completely different game.
So shadow to the defense there.
But Lamar Jackson ended the day 17 of 24 222 yards, four touchdowns, zero picks and rushing wise.
He also went nine carries 86 yards for a total of about over 300 yards.
For sure, I think so.
I mean, Lamar is just having an incredible season.
I think that if he out, if he outduels dish on Watson and he out, place him that he should be the favorite for M v p.
And to be honest with you, he totally dominated this game.
He outdueled dish on Watson easily.
Um, so I think he should be the front runner for M V P right now, Um, you know what? And we're not talking about that right now, so I guess that's a topic for another video. I'll probably talk.
I'll touch on that and tomorrow stream.
I don't want to get this.
I don't want to let the stream get too long.
It's already been 12 minutes um So let's continue with the stats here, Gus.
The bus had a great game.
Eight carries for 112 yards and a touchdown.
I believe that is the first over 100 yard rusher that the Texans have allowed this season.
I told the men I told you guys, you know, you may, you may have a good run defense, but you've never seen a rushing attack like this.
It's just **** near impossible to stop.
So Gus had a great game.
Lamar Jackson, of course, had a great game.
Ingram was, you know, he was stuffed up pretty well, as I predicted.
I did think that Thea, the Texans dealing, was gonna do a pretty good job of stuffing up Ingram because, um, because they have a good run defense, so but overall, 263 yards on the grounds, I still don't have an answer how you beat this offense.
Um, Mark Andrews had a great game for reception.
75 yards and a touchdown.
Mark Ingram had to receiving touchdowns.
And aside from that, everybody else Oh, and Seth Roberts finally got his first touchdown of the season.
So that was cool Shadow toe Lamar because he did call it in a little bit of an interview that ah, or a Q and A type thing.
He said that he wanted to get Seth a touchdown, and he did.
He you know, he made that promise today.
So that's awesome.
And aside from that, I mean, Josh Bynes had a pick that was cool.
To see Jude on had an incredible game.
Like I said, Definitely gets a game ball for me.
Two sacks, three TF.
Els Um Ferguson.
Gotta Saca's Well, awesome peanut Brandon Williams even got in there.
It was just a crate.
Like I'm like, where did this pass rush come from? Men.
But, I mean, you love to see it.
You know, if we could actually get the pass Trish going plus our secondary the way they've been playing, they've been covering so well, man Jimmy Smith and the addition of Marcus Peters has just been a godsend for this defense.
It really as just overall, I mean, the team is looking great.
I think we're ready for the Rams.
We do have to come over here to the West Coast.
I wish I could have gone to the game.
But right now, to be honest with you guys, I am kind of suffering financially a little bit.
So it Unfortunately, I'm not gonna be able to make the trip to L.
The Rams play the Ravens.
I really wish I could.
Unfortunately, I'm not gonna be able to make it to next week's game, so that sucks.
But I'll probably be watching at home.
I'm gonna be rooting on the Ravens and, ah, you know, hopefully we can get the wind man and moved to nine and two.
That would just be awesome, Justin.
And it's been an incredible season so far, Man, I heard it's really been incredible.
I mean, like I said, who else is dominating like this? You look around, there's no other teams dominating like this.
So it's just something you gotta enjoy.
And tomorrow, guys, I am gonna be streaming on YouTube, so make sure you guys have subscribed to me over there, and right now we're gonna be Eagles fans for the next couple hours.
If the Eagles do beat the Patriots, the Ravens do move up to the first seed.
So that's definitely something that we're gonna be looking out for.
Hopefully, the Eagles can take care of business.
I'm not sure. The score right now.
Last I checked, it was 3 to.
So hopefully the Eagles can stay up there, So All right, fellas.
