Hey, going on everybody.
So we're gonna do some, uh, early season MBA M v p talks, um, fastball reference.
Put out their top 10 M v p.
So we're just gonna look through that, See where I agree and disagree where some people are some surprise picks that around There has been pretty awesome.
Some drink out players.
Um, so let me just pull that up on my phone. Real quickly.
But I see the I did a little bit to find your quick.
Okay, Here is all right.
He's off to a terror again this year.
Putting up monster numbers.
Yana Santo Poco is number one on the M V P Tracker.
I'm not sure what he's putting up Stat waas.
We'll go look at that.
I know the Bucks are off to a really good start at nine and three.
They should be basically 11 and one, but they're two games that they lost their up like 19 and blew the lead early in the year.
But Johannes is averaging an absurd 29 points per game, Um, 14 rebounds per game and seven assists per game, with also one stock one steel in one block, 57% from the field and nearly 30 a 29 and 1/2 percent from three, is attempting a few three per game to the defence.
Besides the blocks and steals, there's always incredible.
He's always one of the best, that switching on two wings and bigger guys defending pain and that the rim, uh, he's absolutely incredible.
Uh, the three looks like it's coming along a little bit more, and at least he's attempting it a little bit more.
So that's another sign of his progression.
I still would love to see a little bit more of a mid range game out of him, but Johannes as you go, um, number one on this list, I probably agree with, So I'm fine with that.
James Harden is coming in at number two.
He's on a crazy terror right now.
I know the field goal on three point percentage isn't all that great, but if you look at his true shooting, he's still as efficient as always, actually the highest of his career since he's been in Houston.
So, um, he's still doing his thing.
They're winning games.
The last five or six games.
The Houston Rockets are number one in defensive rating, up from literally the worst air, 32nd and the MBA.
So regression to the mean it's happening out in Houston hardened balling.
He's averaging like 40 something, uh, during the stretch.
30 something on the season will go pull.
His number's up right now.
Yeah, he is averaging Hit 49 last night, but he's averaging 36.
Again, the field goal percentage is not good like it's just not.
But that's off to a really, really, really, really, really historically bad shooting start to the season, even by James Harden standards.
And we know he goes into some slums where the numbers are just absolutely terrible.
But him, number two I agree with number three is LeBron James and LeBron James.
This year, it's definitely his best year since 2018.
I guess we'll say.
But 2018 didn't know what defense was in the regular season, and he shouldn't have.
He had to do so much offensively for that team.
He would have honestly, taking a year of his career, maybe to apathy with putting the effort that he is on defense this year with the Lakers.
But the defense looks like it hasn't looked sense.
The Miami Heat days, at least in the regular season.
You've been always really good playoff defender.
So, um, the defense, then he looks much improved.
He's closing out hard.
He's making the right locations.
He's always been a good defender, flat out.
He's always been a good defenders.
Even when he wasn't that good of a defender, it was more of an effort thing.
Closing out was where people really, really didn't like groans defense recently.
Um, he's really good at staying in front of guys by using his body and not fouling to remember a blow against the Warriors.
D'Angelo Russell tried driving past I'm just moved.
His feet used his body, got him right out of their back out to the paint, are back out to the toward the three point line.
He shot up abysmal amid a mid arranger from the short base short line baseline.
So on then we already know he's he's leading the league in assists.
I think he has like seven rebounds per game.
On top of that 20 four points per game or something like that, he's again tonight.
I'll probably do a stream after that game.
More than likely they're gonna win.
They're buying the Hawks, who just lost by 49 to the Clippers.
Paul George looks incredible.
Oren do Paul George Stream.
Probably today, too, just how good he's looking.
What the Clippers ceiling is if he's gonna continue to play like that.
But LeBron James and at three, I really like that.
Don sit at four.
He's averaging **** near triple double or even is the triple double.
I think the assists were just below um, and averaging a triple double, So let's look his numbers trying to find on MBA dot com.
I don't have a few days off.
There's in again.
Yeah, he absolutely lit it up in the Garden.
That was fun to watch Triple double in the Garden.
But the student, 20 years old, you forth in the M V P race.
His team is what's their record? Their six and five out West? Uh, the two really bad losses against the Knicks and the economic fan, but they have no business being in that team.
Um, Magadan City is averaging 28.
7 points per game, 10.
3 rebounds per game, 9.
He's, He's in second season.
He's 20 years old.
Uh, he's shooting the three. Decent.
Uh, I think it will.
Given the volume, I think he's shooting blow league average, but we already know how deadly his step back and just pulling up for him from three is him and forth for the MPP race.
I like a lot like a lot.
He he deserved it there.
This team's winning outside of to bad losses against the Knicks.
Um, they're in the playoff hunt where I picked them to be.
I thought they were gonna be there.
Um, coming into this season, I thought there'd be more than a seed.
That's still possible if because of the West is so packed.
A special with the Timberwolves, Another team surprising right now.
But fifth is Anthony Davis.
Um, if you've been watching, um, um, if you've been watching Sorry had kind of a call from my girlfriend tonight.
Um, have you been watching the Lakers this year? Has been absolutely anchoring that defense.
Um oh, my God, He's been absolutely anchoring that defense.
And on offense, he's been catching lobs from LeBron.
The three ball jump shot in general is not not falling at a rate that were used to, um, the mid range numbers are down way down compared to what we're used to with him.
But he's still getting easy buckets.
Constantly. LeBron is feeding him.
Uh, he's just feasting off missives on really good at rolling on their fitting together a lot better than they thought they were going to initially.
Um, and yet the defence of numbers And just if you're done washing the games at all, it's insane.
Okay, so the next one Kemba Walker Kevin Walker, recently given interview.
He's at six in the M P periods.
He gave an interview recently, and he said, How, um, he's never won this many games in a row.
He's loving the feeling that he's getting after games.
And for a guy like Kemba Walker, who that wasn't just read the entire time he was there.
Now, interestingly enough, they left, and guys like to take cram um, are just taking over and honestly, they're six and seven.
I thought there would be the worst team. Basketball is here.
But besides that, I mean, it's not like the whole Kyrie Irving situation where he left in.
His team's not doing bad and, uh, the previous teams doing good, both teams to do it because that's cool for the Hornets really liked apology work when you requested a trade, but anyway, um, carry car Campbell Walker has put up, like 30 game on this stretch of winning, Um, so it's really cool to see him get off of the team that, you know, it just wasn't good when he was there much.
Jordan has been a really bad owner doing out really bad contracts.
Two guys that were far past what they were getting paid.
Nicolas Batum is getting paid a 23,000,020 year on view for guys like Kemba Walker was playing with all these years.
Now he's out in the Celtics in Boston, and he's playing great, just like we're always accustomed to.
The team's playing great.
They're one of the best teams in offense, been defensive rating.
He's winning games and was feeling really good.
So Kevin Walker had six on this M V P Tractor and that basketball reference, but I definitely grew.
I think that's a really good spot for him.
I definitely wouldn't put him above a B Luca LeBron Hardin, are ya honest? But for a guy like Campbell to get this recognition on a good team and having the feeling that he is winning these Games, uh, it's really good for him.
I'm really happy for for Campbell, and that's a good placement for all India.
Guy number seven is Jimmie Walker, Jimmie Walker, Jimmy Butler, and I agree with this place into, um, Jimmy's done bowling in a way that we're not really accustomed to.
He's really taken on that leadership and number one, Um, just like the man roll, I guess in a way that we haven't really seen in this fashion because also acting like seven assists per game while blankly defense and scoring a little bit, too.
Um, we've never seen really Jimmy Butler be the lead playmaker, scorer, ball handler, and that's what he's doing with Goran Dragic going to the bench.
He's really been given the chance to do this, Kendrick numb you point guard but he's really more of, Ah, combo guard.
He's scoring the ball like 20 points per game on.
He's really good at that.
You know, he's a good secondary ball handler, but Jimmy Butler, by far, hands down.
If you've been watching the Heat at all or even a future, some paying attention them easily.
There there, leave ball handler and playmaker.
So I definitely like him in this spot.
I think I'd look up his full numbers, but I know he's average.
He's not been assists per game this year, which is something we're not really accustomed to within.
Um, yeah, he's averaging 18.
So it went down last night.
2.8 steals for him.
Uh, he's not really shooting the three well, but 46 46% from the field.
Uh, he's scoring is rebounding.
He's passing, explaining defense and the top bit the heater winning.
So I like that place in for him, I think.
The heat Yeah, they're nine and three there.
One of the best teams in the MBA and in the East.
Um, eighth is Karl Anthony.
Towns definitely agree with this to Karl Anthony Towns has been in a bag. This year.
He's heading Step Back three sets all the other night being lost, its withered.
But there wasn't six step back three years sitting.
He also is trying to get rid of that.
That's soft label that he had on him.
Um, which a lot of it was from Jimmy Butler.
Instrument enough? Uh, he's obviously we know about the brawl with you will.
Indeed, he also stood up for himself against Rudy Gay the other night against Spurs.
Um, he's definitely taking on that number one man roll now.
Wiggins, interestingly enough, has completely did a 1 80 on his career and is really, really, really turning everything around.
He's taking the lowest percentage of 16% or a 16 foot toe, three point range, which is just basically that in most inefficient, long, too shot he's down to like.
11% of the shots were coming from there this year, which used to be like in the twenties, 25%.
So, interestingly enough, you get rid of the word meeting least efficient and were shot in basketball, and you instantly start having a better year.
I don't know why we're talking about Andrew Williams when it's called a date out of the car.
Leaving town Absolutely while he's averaging, but with numbers Road Warrior he's averaging changed you to turn around.
31 point five is shooting 50% from field and 42% from three on, like seven tons per game.
So Karl Anthony Towns is really special talent.
Uh, the Timberwolves, before they lost, left two games.
They were seven in for another seven and six s o there, and they put themselves really in the playoff on early, which you want to do out West.
But coming in in the last spot is bam out of bio, which this one was a complete surprise.
Big, but one of my boys, Aaron, washed in his big Miami Finn.
I've seen him raving about Bambaataa Bile all year over having white side all these years on the biggest thing with him, I guess, is passing his playmaking and his actual defense like it's not pretend defense where the blocking numbers look good.
But if you watch the game, he's just missing rotations and getting blown up in the post and in space.
One of I was able to garden space.
He's a good play maker is bad problem.
He's probably better Roll threatened.
Hey, runs the floor a lot better, and that's the biggest thing about Bam Out about is really a RIM runner out in transition.
I'm not even sure what his numbers are for the year. So we're better.
Looked those up, and that'll be the end of this.
He's averaging 13.
34 point six assists, 1.
Oh, you should Yeah, he's having just an all around special year.
6 assists for a center who gets the amount of minutes that he does on the amount of touches that he does is wild.
I definitely watch him or bam on a violin.
That's the That's the best ball references.
Top 10 M V P list So far Drink have made the honest answer.
James Harden it to LeBron James of three.
Move down strapped for Anthony Davis out.
Five. Um, come Walker at six.
Giving about seven.
Um, I think that it was Call Anthony Towns.
Oh, Gordon Hayward.
Was that not any skipped right over that? That's gonna change completely.
Gordon Hayward's out with fractured hand, but good for him.
That was Carlos.
Any time to eat? Uh, Gordon Hayward at nine.
Out of Iowa. 10.
Uh, we're gonna go live in a little bit later.
We're gonna talk after the Laker game.
I might do like a pull, George.
Clever stream to thank you, everyone for joining and catch you next time.
