Good morning, everybody.
And welcome to yet another episode of full press coverage.
This is Week 11.
I am your host, Ian Glen, and I am joined as I am every weekend.
Every Sunday morning at 10 a.
By Mr Brandon Ray R F, P C Bills managing editor, and Terrence Biggs, R F p c.
Raiders managing editor.
How we doing today, fellas? Ready for some or NFL action? Come on, fellows.
What's going on, guys? Have you been? Well, you know, you go leaving the agreement.
It's a dream. Exactly.
No, we got we got a great leopard games this week.
Uh, you know, Sundays they seemed to get better and better as the as the months Go on.
And guess what as it is for the team I follow every year.
It's now for you guys the same thing you guys have as bills and Raiders fans.
Something to cheer for.
And I'm not saying that to be an ******* or sorry.
I forgot my match of my language a little bit clean.
I haven't quite woken up yet, so you're gonna have to excuse my language.
Uh, I'll be right back.
You know, I'll get it.
I'll get a fine from the station's owner.
Okay, let's let's put it that way.
Um, but look, the Bills and the Raiders, two of the big story lines this season and this week and every week here on out are fighting for playoff spots.
And you know what? I am not going to say who I give the edge to to getting a playoff spot.
Not yet, at least.
I'll say that a little bit later, and I'll make one of you happy and probably one of you not so happy.
But it's great to see those teams in the mix and obviously, ah, well, having a playoff reach well in their graph.
So before we really get into a lot of these games and there are several really good ones there, you know, obviously we've already had a game this week.
I've talked about it Friday morning on EPC Radio Live.
I want to talk to you guys about it.
Obviously, the Browns did beat the Steelers.
It felt like a game that it was.
I thought it was gonna be a little bit more entertaining.
However, I don't know it just It was kind of Blair until the very end when things kind of went away.
WWF on us and ah, you know, Miles Garrett came out swinging helmets and Mason Rudolph tried to pick fights and and all that.
So I'll let you know my initial impression because I did say Friday morning that I thought Miles Garrett should be done for the year at a minimum.
Um, I thought no matter what his reputation is, no matter what precipitated what he did, what he did crossed the line above and beyond that.
So I think no matter what, he had to be gone for the year.
And initially I was kind of saying, Oh, you know what? Let's, um, let's take it easy on Pouncey and what? Not just because I don't know why.
I think I haven't had my coffee.
That's more this morning, but I did change my tune a little bit throughout the day.
I you know, I like that he defended his teammate, and I will defend that aspect of it.
But in the same breath as Myles Garrett.
Uh, eventually, you just cross the line, no matter what the cir***stances are, and him kicking at Garrett's head while he was on the ground was an issue, and I think he deserved the suspension.
So, um, needless to say, I think the NFL got 75% of it, right? Um, 25% that they didn't get right was Ah, this is a suspension of Mason Rudolph off.
And I think, you know, part of that could have just been Ah, you know, one gamer here, but I want to know what you guys think.
Do you guys agree with how the NFL handed out this d suspensions? And I'll, uh, I'll start with you.
I I feel good after watching the game again because I wanted to make sure that I caught everything.
They handled the gear suspension, right? And I think that it should wrap around the next season like he should be going a full year, which is 16 games.
He she he should have to face the rest of this year and part of next year.
But But for now, the rest of season is it's fair.
Mason Rudolph got away with antagonizing it.
Nothing Garrett did is all it is.
Is all his fault for doing it.
He he did it on him.
We're not condoning it.
Try to take care of Thomas coffee, kick him in his groin.
And then when they were separated, he ran upon Garrett.
And that is solely on Mason Rudolph.
Another issue I have, actually, I know they should have Is Marquis Pouncey only got three games.
He was punching a somebody being held and kicking them in the head.
You got, like, as a player, former player.
I mean, all of us played a sport.
We you like the fact that you stood up for teammate.
But what if that clean goes in the eye? It's true.
And he needs more than three games, but and and I think, and it just tiu that point real quick, and I'm combination talking.
I just want to say that I, you know, honestly, I could have lived with the punching like I mean, I think, you know, Yeah, maybe you don't like it in the long run, but at the end of day, the cir***stances would warrant that the kicking is really again crossing that line and really going above and beyond that line that's true.
So personally, I think that personally, I think that, you know rules are rules one straight before moment from that seventies, Show said.
If there were no rules in society, we all be in a tree flinging on crap in each other.
I think that they handled the garret situations very, very in the most, the most gone for the year postseason.
If they make it that far, I think you should have gone a year from that date.
Until that, like that's just uncalled for.
I think the marquees pounds.
He received a little bit of the The problem I have with the policy suspension is that you got three games.
But the Browns defensive lineman who show rode off blindside league.
What? Perhaps he was trying to go up on Gareth.
He only got one game for blind side.
He rode off and not doing.
I think he claims he was trying to defend Garrett.
He attacked a road up.
He attacked Rudolph, already hit my head, didn't do anything.
I think you should have the same specials policy, adding needs to get off.
I completely agree with, um, the gas suspension.
I give their credit because he apologized.
He made that public. He owned his mistakes.
Rudolph is playing the victim card like he was completely.
His hands are clean, and that's not true when you're trying to rip off a defensive line helmet and then you go after him and attack him after he's already being restrained, That's on you.
And I think that roof I should have been suspended at least multiple games for this flight.
The NFL doesn't seem to think it that way.
All right now, sobered office just cannot play on while Garrett's done for the year and Rob who's his son for three games.
I think you said 75% of correct, 25% still questionable know and and And I look like I said, I originally my initial impression was okay, you know, go a little light on Pouncey.
But the more the more I talked, you know, the more I thought about it and everything, it does seem like he got off a little bit easy.
I mean, look, this is a bad situation all around.
You don't want to see this This, You know, I saw people drawing comparisons to two other things and really The only comparison to me was, um you know, and Terence will know this the Marty McSorley incident where, you know, just I mean, that even then that was that was unprovoked.
In the sense that in that situation, McSorley later literally hits on unsuspecting ah, player on the ice with this stick and intentionally and that that was obviously a lot different than this.
But the idea of using part of your equipment especially very dangerous part as the weapon is kind of obviously the big issue here.
So, um, look, I mean, the fact that they're not playing again, I I wish, you know, like you said that, you know, Rudolph got a little bit more than just fine.
But, you know, like like other people have, ah, opinions on Twitter.
Maybe him playing is the worst punishment for the Steelers in the long run.
So, um, we'll see.
We'll let that play out, and obviously they're gonna have several days to think about it.
Um, two people watching on SportsCastr Brandon's cameras, just going out of your re sizing like crazy.
So I'm trying to multi task air and keep you, like, you know, from covering my face.
I mean, you know, whatever it is what it is.
So people on ah, on watching sports catch.
I'm working the issue in the background.
So obviously, before we get to the bunch of the game Sunday today, other news that came out or at least happened over the weekend to Colin Kaepernick situation.
Now, each and every felt like our There's something new, some new twist to this too.
You know, Reportedly, teams were supposed to get a Are there gonna be X amount of teams at this workout? He wanted cameras, say at the NFL, said no.
And then they agreed to this.
And then they disagreed to this, and it was ultimately ended up Kaepernick hosting his own workout and giving his own interview.
Um, you know, I said all this week that I kind of feel like this has just been a scam and a publicity stunt essentially from the NFL, and I think both parties of kind of gone about their situation with the idea of like, Okay, who's gonna blink first in this situation and you know what? To Kaepernick's credit, he went out.
He did what he had to do.
He went out and said, Said the right things.
He said that No, look, I've been waiting and I think we all think he's been waiting.
And, you know, at the end of the day, this is just gonna further divide the people that are against him and people that were form.
It's just it's really to me.
It hasn't really changed much mean until he gets a job or until he gets signed.
Really, Nothing has changed.
This'll half asked the attempt by the NFL that kind of put out an all the branches.
You know, if you believe what you hear about the reports that Jay Z kind of influence this and was like, Hey, you know, my image, quote unquote took a hit.
We need to do something to Roger Goodell That makes it even worse.
So I guess whoever wants take the floor.
I mean, it's a start, you know, if you have a strong opinion on it, go for it.
Uh, personally, I think it's kind of there's miscommunication of both photo for your book in some different ways, and I think Captain Keith yesterday, you know, there's no reason block from a talent perspective, he should be in the NFL as maybe like a bridge quarterback now, or like you know, that backup who can fit in the type of style offense.
No case point with Seattle.
Seattle's looking at him a couple of years ago because it was a perfect offense to look at him.
But the problem is, is that different interests, different conflicts that come in and they're going to come into play.
So you think you're about to reach a certain point.
You take five steps different back.
It's it's something else that comes out.
So while I think that Kaepernick has the talent to being, if I don't see him being signed by a team because these owners are just they're not won'th a look and because of the movement.
He started back 333 years ago, three or four years ago, and I just don't think that they're willing to put up with that type of distraction because they've already got a lot of pressure on them as well.
And and some of their you know and somebody says, you know, it's it's a 50 50 brick wall of even type of thing you got some who agree with him and some that want him out of the week.
You know, just it's kind of basically your own judgment and you said, Who's gonna blink first? And I'll depend on you? No.
Yeah, it's It's a shame that that's the case, you know, and my parents go, I agree.
Everything where the Brendan said is completely accurate.
I'll just add a couple of points first.
The fact The best thing that Brennan said, it's from a time standpoint.
We all see that he can play it.
Not that dispelled the narrative from others that he wasn't good enough to play and that he didn't have the talent to play.
That was now disproven.
Now it's a matter of the NFL owners who had it taken.
L ah, public l trying to collude to the point where they had to settle.
If you feel so you're about to win a case, you never settle.
So you go for the win and they caved in when they're about tohave toe, absorb a loss for me.
I mean, I don't think that Cabinet plays another down in the NFL the simple fact that owners they don't want, that they don't want it.
It's funny because some people in the fan base will still hold on to the notion of him disrespecting military.
This napkin, and has been widely is proven.
We don't have to go through it, but it's been a while.
It is proven that that is not the case, but yet they will hold on to that lie, and that lie gets perpetuated by the media, who also hold on that line.
We've seen media personalities offer the same tired, repeated everybody a narrative, and for me, from a talent standpoint, yes, he should be in the NFL, be it just like Bernie said.
Be a saddle, be it.
I would have said that this was gonna happen.
But he has done what he needed to do the league.
They want him to sign a waiver, and but not the kind of way that you get at a pro day or trial.
It was like a specialized waiver, and he balked at it.
That's why he moved.
He moved the workout once again, the lead trying to spit in there in this direction.
I think that this will further that this will divide NFL.
Honestly, this is one of the thing.
This is a watershed moment where when once he stop last stop playing.
But once he left the Niners, the legal limit changed it.
It just it became even more separate.
Now it's that casual will never be crossed.
It's It is what it is now.
And you have player on player.
You have Media member on media member.
You have owner on owner, and it's just yeah, owners pretty much are united.
And it's sad because the guy still has talents. 32.
That's at least four or five years of, you know, serviceable play, not saying he's gonna go in and beat the beat the world.
But just at least when you you know when you have Ryan Fitzpatrick, who's garbage, who's been trash but like like he has one gig in the road? Oh, it's this magic and he becomes fixed garbage, just trash.
And it's just but yet him.
Todd Collins, Josh McCown idiom account hell, even Cade McNown.
It's It's all those guys they like.
They are recycled that they find job with each and every year, like Chase Daniel before this season took like and I'm not knocking at hustle, but it's it's more of the The league failed here, and they have have had a chance to make to earn our whole new fan base of be, not fans of football.
But captain fans who might, you know, come over and that he looked lost out on a demographic in Roger Goodell, Joe and Jay Z was worried about his image taking a hit.
It's already the moment, he said.
We're past noon.
His image in the community with over you're done, it's it's done.
Pack that up now, man.
You know, it's just unfortunate, just unfortunate situation that even now we're still dealing with and it doesn't seem like it's gonna get resolved.
But again, all it takes is one team toe to change that time and, you know, make progress in there.
So all right, we're gonna tiptoe to the actual football that's gonna be played on the field today because we do have several pretty good games.
And, you know, one of the one of the big things that we're going to try to answer today and it's gonna be the theme of the show is is which team or teams need a win the most.
Now I know that it's a tired narrative when you say OK, this is a must win in the middle of the regular season in any sport.
I mean, it just at the end of the day usually isn't a quote unquote month when you don't get those until the playoffs or at the very least, the last couple weeks of the season, so but we're gonna play that game anyway.
So if you're listening, try to think about it and comment in the obviously in the chat room on SportsCastr.
Let us know which team this weekend really needs to win the most.
Who's most desperate for a win.
And we're also gonna answer that throughout the day.
So ah, one of the game.
I do want to start with, and you know, this might kind of tip my cap a little bit, too, to what I think might be my answer to that last question.
I just asked, but, uh, I have New Orleans and both, uh, Baltimore, uh, Tampa Bay As one of my key games weekend.
New Orleans is going on the road in Tampa Bay to Tampa Bay to take the take on the Buccaneers.
Obviously, the states or seven into the Bucks are three and six.
This happens A you know, a bit of a panic if I were Saints fan to me because we know what the Bucks are there, either boom or bust.
And when they're boom, sometimes they're They're they're co boom, you know, because they just they fire on all cylinders on offense 1/4 and then the next Jamis Winston throws three interceptions and throws a you know, loses the ball by, I don't know, just some foolish happens.
And that's just kind of how Tampa plays, uh, the Saints becoming off a terrible, terrible loss.
And this could be a a really bad situation for them if they lose another game, not only obviously because they lose a game, but I also think it might start raising questions as to who should be under center for this team.
Whoever wants to start, what do you guys think of this game and R us concerned with saints as I am So personally, I think that you got sick saints.
I think that they don't necessarily need to win this game like they should, but it's not like a and they're still in the top of their division.
I think that right now they're saying it was a week, but when you look at the fact that, like you said Jameis Winston, you don't know what to get from each week he's got He's three and five against States in his career.
He's had one with he's had one, hold him win against the Saints and I was back in 27 CP three New Orleans Saints.
That's teachers Drew Brees, and it's got, um, quarterback in Michael Holmes and all these value weapons with that offensive line in front of them.
I don't trust this Buccaneers defense to stop nuance.
I don't think Winston while he can play from behind and he's able to show that type of potential.
I think the sickness because they were top five defense.
I don't think Weston's gonna be able to outsmart them.
I think I love you place here and there may be some later.
It's gonna bring a little closer once the fourth quarter has.
Overall, I don't see the Buccaneers coming and making this upset type of Victor.
I think you want gets their eighth win of the season.
I've got the Saints win it.
The highest scoring game.
Top 10 Passing offenses.
Tampa Bay's defense is not there.
Defense A little more. So take the Saints.
But I in this game I think that the the Saints need this just because now you can start toe lock up that number two seed in case the Niners will come back down the Earth.
It's a matter of they need toe one.
Put their foot on the rest of the division in the division.
Now is pretty much it put.
Put the division now now, like just then lock the second.
See? But the team, I think that has the most beautiful one of the Chiefs.
They're playing a charters team.
I know the charges are great, but they beat the Packers.
You know, they they smell a Packers round, both said in anger.
Motto, extreme headaches on the edge.
Then they banned.
I want to see what that need looks like from my mom's.
I want to see what that new flexibility is like because they're gonna be chasing him.
And the Raiders are game back.
They they're they're that close.
If the cheese are able to win this game, that put a little more distance.
But if the chief losing there is women but Bus, because you have Derek Carr has never won an arrowhead, this will be pretty much proven.
Moment is he will be making his check for next year with a win here.
And I think that this leads up.
If the chief put this game away and a even if they go five university, they win a division, but they need to start second.
He's wins because that division went from locked down to end out in our heart and the Raiders have an easy schedule.
They play one winning, ah, where they play one winning team.
You know, I I agree.
You did jump a little bit head, though, because I was I was Ah, I didn't want your actual answer, but I I just want to say I do agree with you.
Um, I do want to jump rope real quick back to the saints because I I the reason why I think that it's a must win for them is not, you know.
Obviously, they follow seven and three that they're so in really good position.
Thio even get a top seed or whatever.
You know, it's just it's the way it is.
They're still still, I'm just saying, like if they lose again, back to back games special.
If they struggle on offense, I really think that the questions surrounding Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Brees, they're going to start to pop up a little bit more often.
I've been kind of saying it.
I think there's there's a big question that they have to answer in the off season in terms of what are they going to do at that position because of this unique situation that they're in having both of them currently on the roster and then both obviously having to be re signed for next year.
So, uh, that's where I think it's a It's a must win in terms of where is this franchise going forward? Is it gonna continue to back Drew Brees for the rest of this year? You know, if he struggles back to back games, so actually have to tell you, Bridgewater looked really good and obviously is more of the future if if you want to say that, so that's how I d'oh.
That's kind of how I see it.
But since Terrence gave gave us a good transition into another really key game that I want to talk to you, I I will shift back to that whole a f c West dynamic.
Because when I was kind of writing down my notes, I didn't really separate these two games because I think there's a lot that, um, you know what? I'm talking about Chargers in Kansas City tomorrow night on Monday night and then, of course, uh, Oakland playing this afternoon.
So I think there's a lot of implications for both teams.
Like parents said, Oakland obviously is playing the Cincinnati Bangles.
I mean, that I've never seen ah be as bad as the Bangles so efficiently.
I mean, they're just bad.
I mean, it's just how it's who they are.
It's what they are.
I think Oakland is gonna walk away with a pretty easy wind here and really like, and I, like Karen, said, I mean, it starts to tighten things up quite a bit because you know, not on Lee, not on Lee.
If Kansas City loses, you know, you're kind of starting to create a little bit of, ah, race between those two teams By virtue of beating Kansas City.
The Chargers aren't that far out of it.
I mean, they would be five and six.
Kansas City would be six and five, and then obviously Oakland would be six and five as well.
Um, or but 65 might be flipping their record around, but yeah, yeah, six and four.
They would be six and four because they obviously had a bye week already.
So, um, so all of a sudden you have a three team logjam, uh, it at the top of that F c West.
So there's a lot of lot of steaks riding, and I think Karen's was right.
I think Kansas City had as the most pressure to win this game, especially now with Patch Mahomes back.
At least with Matt Moore, they could kind of skirt that pressure a little bit because it's like, Oh, hey, we don't have our starting quarterback, But guess what.
You have your starting quarterback, you've lost his last three starts.
You got what you have to win this game.
You can't let Oakland gain any sort of confidence or month momentum or our belief that they could win this division.
It's I gotta apologize for jumping ahead of Lexie.
I'm into cheese and I jump offsides when it counts.
Most see there's no referee here ever to there.
No, a referee hit isn't there? You know? Actually, dude, there's no families that said They say that I cheated.
I just outside. My bad.
I'm just glad I got a chance to talk about the game, too, That's all. You know.
We shall get chances.
Ah, look at you.
But now I think the chief's like, super quick, but, huh? The Chiefs have a chance to establish offensive continuity with Mahomes and McCoy, and they have, like, speed in the outside.
This is a win because there is no girl in James and the the back seven of the charters are, and still they're not great.
And without, like, you have a Casey.
Hey, what can cover one person at a time? Ben Watkins.
Whoever is gonna is gonna get loose.
I see the chiefs winning.
Uh um I see it 37 34.
Oh, hi. Scoring. All right.
I mean, division games.
You don't You can't trust them.
You can't Division games are just the toughest ones, you know.
I don't care if you're I don't care for your undefeated nine and on your team in your division, going against a division opponents. Owen Knight.
That's still a tough matchup.
And but the Chiefs have lost one game on the road, which came last week because of a heartbreaker.
The Chargers are below 500 at home.
I think that I think this game is more lopsided.
When I got the chief 1 41 to 14 I don't think that the charges be ableto handle catching my homes, Remember, remember, this, too, is this is in Mexico City, too.
So it's a neutral, neutral field.
Yeah, mutual home.
But like you, technically, the charges.
I mean, this is right in the Chargers right up the track.
I mean, they're going to a place where no one's really if you know, ah, fan of one team, so it's it's it's good for the Chargers.
Might be bad for the Chiefs.
I just I just feel like Mahomes is you said.
This is a must win.
I don't think this is the team that has to win this week and things that must win by being the chief's do need to make a little statement of Oakland saying, If you want this division, come and get it, we're not gonna be a pushover.
You know the hype surrounding this new offense with Jon Gruden's second year.
It's very enlightening by, and you defy me. Andy Reid.
If I'm patching Mahomes, I stopped on the Chargers and that continue your path to get into the playoffs.
And overall, just win the division.
You know, Oakland will talk.
Okay, you can play.
Kansas City had just has the better quarterback.
The problem for Kansas City is, though, because, you know, we're not just talking about, you know, at the beginning of the season, you know we're talking about them is one of the one or two seeds.
I mean, now we're talking about again.
If the situation presents itself where Oakland wins, Kansas City loses Chargers win.
All of a sudden, it's not just the division that they might lose.
It might lose out on the playoffs because you've got to think about it.
The Bills continue to win a few more games.
If the if the Colts figure out you know this little slump that they're in, you know those air teams that they're competing for with four wild card, you know, assuming, say, Oakland takes the division or takes the lead into the vision.
So you know, there's no guarantee that they even make the playoffs, that they don't win these type of games.
So in my in my eyes, I think they have to are this week just they can't fall under 500.
They can't fall to six and five and expecto be able to look.
I mean, at this point, regardless, if they went or not, I still don't think that they can.
They can compete with Baltimore or New England at this point, but in terms of trying to make the playoffs, I think they kill their hopes or at least really start to put a lot of pressure on themselves if they lose this game.
So I'm getting pretty close to this being a must win for them and again, just like like I said before, they lost three of, uh, homes.
I mean, he's on a three game personal losing streak and, you know, say what you want about the team around him.
He's had a hand in some of that and, you know, Kansas City Chiefs fans won't accept it.
So you know, some of the media won't accept it.
But you know, he's been part of the issue.
Let's not say he's been the sole issue.
There's been a lot of issues for the Chiefs, so he's got to get off the snide and kind of put together that that big moment in that big, uh win for this team, and it'll be interesting to see if they do it.
I you know, maybe this is a little bit of bias product.
It's probably a lot of bit of bias, but I don't think they dio.
I think Los Angeles, this is.
And it just kind of speaks more towards the randomness of the Los Angeles Chargers that they beat them twice last year.
And this just kind of feels like one of those Los Angeles Chargers moments where they say, Oh, yeah, that's right.
We have a lot of talent.
We can kind of play sometimes and We're gonna give you one of those moments right now, and they're gonna go out and beat the chief.
So, um, I don't have a score for that one.
I'm kind of bouncing back and forth.
I don't think it's gonna be a high scoring game.
I think you talkin, you know, 2020 points ish aside for each team himself.
Maybe something like 2127 21 win for the Chargers.
And then the Raiders will be sitting pretty.
You know, wait up Bangles and I'm and I'm I'm concerned because there's been an overwhelming cut like No, don't get it.
It's the Bangles Bangles, but isn't here against like there are players and fans are like, Well, they just can come and just show up to play this deal in NFL team slightly.
And it's just this is this is a trap game where you could see Derek are throwing three picks.
Well, I mean, I can see their car throwing three picks in any game, but I just that we we talked about the Bangles in the off season we talked about, Ah, the absence of A J.
Green about devastating that would be for them.
Well, hey, we were right about something because he's been out, uh, going to be out.
It's actually is, you know, quote unquote dumpster fire.
And they look clearly like the worst team in the league.
I think the Jets are not too far off, and a lot of that has to do with just poor management and stuff like that.
But, uh, the Bengals that just aren't good.
I just don't see how they beat Oakland.
And and even that's even accepting that Oakland can be their biggest enemy at times.
And it's always a chance that they're going to go, but doing some stupid or or committing a bad penalty or just the bad turnover At the worst time I e diving for the end zone against cream bit.
I mean that, you know, that that play completely flipped the script on that game and had such a huge impact on the outcome because it was ultimately ended up being like a 13 point swing.
When you factor in what happened coming out of the woods yet.
Exactly So, um, I'm so I'm deaf pulling up, putting past the Raiders thio, you know, put off a clunker.
But even if they do, I don't see how they lose the singles scene.
I hope this they just need just the, you know, play smart.
Don't don't do it the extraordinary.
Just play basic football.
Like if they want to go old school, mumble and come up with four plays on offense and four plays on defense.
Just nothing foolish.
Nothing foolish like I don't want to be Eric Cartman Open field, trying to run upfield and tryingto no, none of that.
Get down, Get down.
I mean a lesson.
The last time the bus had the last three meets to the Bangles and the Raiders the Bangles of one off three times by no less than 14 points.
So that should be a little scared.
But don't just Driscoll.
I don't see Raiders working.
I see the bending at what? I don't see them like.
I don't see them giving away the only loses games that they give away the game.
Bangles are the worst union myself utilized.
Josh Jacobs, Pound pound, the Bangles run defense.
Get the rookie running back out there, getting booked 200 yards today.
I think the Raiders can handle this as long as there's no mistakes.
They don't cause penalties on them.
You know, they don't play bad Buffalo Bills football.
How about that? Because I hate to agree with me on that one of the models, because they didn't get dominated it because they gave away the game because of certain aspects.
So the Raiders should win this game easily by by the time the fourth quarter starts, you should have the result was gonna win just their card.
Don't throw three picks.
Could I start you like, fantasy team for everything you tell me to? Oh, wow.
You guys were really just, uh, is a gamble.
But just win, baby, right? Just went away.
And then, you know, other than that, I guess I guess Derek Carr has to do well so you guys could do well in fantasy.
But if you're a Raiders fan, just just win, baby, but hurt.
Yeah, And don't get hurt.
That, um so probably probably the marquee game, Especially the one o'clock hour today.
Houston Texans hosting the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Ravens Evident to Houston Texans six and three.
Ah, it's it's obvious what's at stake in this game.
There's a lot of implications.
Not on Lee standing wise.
You have to division leaders going head to head, you know, obviously to try toe, reach that second seed in the A F C u have the M v p race.
Uh, I'd say in my opinion, number two and number three M V P.
Race right now going head to head.
So, you know, for all intents and purposes, this will kind of decide who is gonna be going neck and neck with Russell Wells on the rest of the year, in my opinion, you know, because we're coming into the point now where you know it.
Unless you have this incredible late game stretch by a certain player or late late season stretched by a certain player, I don't think anyone else is really going to enter the race.
In my opinion, I think ultimately it's going to be Russell Wilson versus whoever you know.
And obviously cir***stances can change this.
But let's just say whoever wins this game you would assume would have played better.
Let's just assume that I mean, we can obviously adjust that if you know, the real results warrant that, but to me.
I think it's gonna come down to Russell Wilson versus Lamar Jackson and Shawn Watson at this point, and you know this game.
Whoever wins this, you know, takes firm control.
That second seed in the A F C.
Has a chance to catch the Patriots.
Houston still get to play the Patriots, but Baltimore already beat them so they have a leg up.
In that sense, uh, this.
I'm excited to watch these two players go.
I mean, at the end of day.
I mean, it's just exciting football to wash dish on.
Watson and Lamar Jackson play in these two respective teams, so I'll start with parents were looking for in this game.
What do you most excited seeing? Who do you give the edge to it? Who? I give the edge to the Ravens because without Why being there? Thio Chase Jackson The past rushes kind of toothless of merciless, but it just uh plus I, Lamar Jax and Greg Roman.
Corner has done a masterful job of crafting the entire offense to fit large acts like a glove and the fact that day I have using so innovation where they had Jackson RG three and Mark Ingram in the same backfield last last week.
That is something that teams have to game plan for. He's in it.
I don't know why. Greg.
Greg Roman is not a head coach somewhere.
But the fact that he's using Jackson's gifts and he's using, he's not trying to put him in spots where he won't be able to succeed.
He's actually say, Hey, this is what I know.
You can do it so you can't D'oh do what you can do will work on the rest of the off season.
I like the fact that the offense and the defense Judah is I name a team don't want.
You might not hear too often the defensive end, but he provides them a pass rush that I thought when Terrell Suggs left that it would be missing.
That defense is fairly style.
The Texans, they have a stripper on offense.
I like Hopkins I like, but But I don't think that plus, the Texans have one of the work of secondaries in the NFL.
When you trade 1/3 round pick for Gary and Conley, who to the from the team that you're playing the following weekend and they pick on him because I know that he's not very good as Faras tackling.
That's an issue.
They have tried to pee, smell that defense and that the secondary is gonna get torched.
26 17 all the more.
Yeah, I I I like I like that.
That kind of That's how I feel about this game.
You know, Like I said last week, I think it was last week, and I apologize because I I forget what show I say things on.
So I mean, hell, I can't even get the day straight sometimes.
So you're gonna you're gonna have to deal with that.
I said at some point to someone on some platform platform.
Yes, that, uh, I will not believe in the Houston Texans until they beat the New England Patriots in a big game.
I mean, it will help, let alone a big game a an actual game.
Eso all this hype surrounding the Texans, I just don't like I'm excited to see it because I'm excited to see how they do against another really good team.
Um, but all this excitement surrounding Watson in the offense and this that and the other.
Like Terence said.
I mean, at the end of day, it's the same old Texans.
The Patriots go out and tear them apart.
Defensively, they won't have enough, uh, kick offensively.
And the beat goes on and they, you know, once again, eh, eh? On the surface.
Really good team.
That just doesn't pack the punch.
And, um, this is an opportunity to kind of show a little bit of that again.
You know, if they go out and dominate the Ravens.
Yeah, you know, maybe up will rethink what I'm thinking, but still at the end, eh? I still want to see them beat the Patriots in the playoffs.
Well, I mean, I don't want to see that, but you know what I'm saying? Um, like, I want to see that, too, to convince myself that the Texans are actually Avijit Super Bowl contender, cause until they do that, I just I won't believe in them.
I mean, I I just I have too many memories of watching Ah, you know, watching J.
Watt and and you know, that whole crew walk in with Letterman jackets.
Antonio, uh, Pierce, I want to say, uh, maybe mis remembering his name but walking in like Letterman jackets, like, you know, the 14 and two Texans and just getting stopped.
Yeah, they were just looking at that.
And that was really I mean, look, there were J v team.
And until they prove themselves, ah, that's what they've they've had been.
So, uh, so anyway, so But at the end of the day, I do think this is a huge game for bubble teams because, you know, this concede right now is obviously what they're fighting for.
It could open up the first seed.
You know, whoever wins this game is a huge opportunity for not only the Ravens to really, you know, put a stamp on this run because we know last week they played that girl.
So anything that doesn't it doesn't matter, because the Bangles on that's what That's what Twitter tells me.
Released tells me about Paige.
It's so I think the Ravens are gonna win this game.
I think they're gonna handle it pretty good, because at the end of day, I don't believe too much in the Texans.
I think you know the same old Texans.
A tiger doesn't change its stripes and same coaching staff, same front office saying What not? I mean, it's It's the same old Texans to me and, you know, especially without J J.
What, again? That's another thing.
I mean, every year, J.
Watt has great in front or whatever.
I mean, even he wasn't as good as he says been in the past.
But at the UN today, he's injured, and he's gonna miss the rest of the season and not be there for for them in the playoffs.
Oh, that's unfortunate for them and again, kind of further exercises.
Same old Texan. So, yeah, that's my thoughts.
But I I completely no, I think there's a must win game, you know, It's a second skin opening.
It could open up when the trucks to crumble from here on out.
And that if we never know, anything is possible in this.
Lee, I think when you look at these two top offenses you look at, you know they're like metal pack of these defense.
You know, Grant Houston is stuck in their E because I can rack up 200 receiving yards against that second likely nice things like that But did we forget who's playing quarterback for Houston? Did we forget the magic that he does like understanding? Like if I had to prepare someone to Russell Wilson and see it's the Sean Jackson? I'm sorry from Jackson, Shawn.
I think that Watson has had the magic touch since he came out of college.
I think that passed just a C all injury.
He at his work a year.
He's really dominated this.
You know, this division, these different games.
You know, the Patriots have only sections, but to show him lots of competes with the Patriots, you know, they show that in the second outing, and I believe that Houston is not given as much credit because approved going up against them.
This offense is who's behind who's under center? Baltimore.
I think that in the upset, you know, it's not really upset.
My Houston comes out on top because I think that Watson is gonna have to get the ball under two minutes.
Who's to say that? Watch it can't leave Dr, you know.
And I great not granted Baltimore defense.
You know Matt June.
Yet he provides that pass rush that no one really talks about you fully agree with Sean wants and still to Sean, What's it's like we say Tom Brady's calm Brady.
He's just got that touch.
He's got that it factor.
And Jane network his closeness and come into play.
And let's not forget from Watson has not been satchel holdup this year.
Competitors for his two year okay, they invested, I hope, in supplies to protect him.
And while it's still needs working improvement when Watson's not touched lots of makes place.
And I don't see Baltimore's defense holding up in the last couple minutes of report.
Theo reason why they're on a close battle.
I don't believe in both wars, Deacon's just yet.
So I think the strong Watson used in wins this game.
No, I look, I I actually I agree.
I agree with what a lot of what you just said, because I do like the shot wants in a lot.
And I think that's the biggest difference, obviously, from just Texans team and most.
But you know, in my opinion, I still think that they would get outcoached and and when it comes to Baltimore, I agree with you in accidents, too.
I don't think they're as good as they've been the last.
I mean, the last two weeks have been just a great run for them.
I mean, a lot of people will sit there and say they dominated the major.
They had an incredible first quarter against the Patriots.
And if you want to just based entire opinion on that game on that, then yes, they look like the greatest team that's ever played for three years.
It was a what you would expect out of two of the best teams in the NFC, a pretty fare back and forth.
Now again, you talk about two key situations, obviously the most important one being the Julian Edelman fumble.
And that kind of change is just kind of what the ultimate outcome was.
But look, give the grievance credit.
They came out Patriots in the mouth in those 1st 15 minutes and really just capitalize on every opportunity they got, and ultimately that won them the game.
But, um, I do think that Ravens are a good team.
I just you don't, you know, just kind of like, you know, you take the whole big picture into account.
They're not as good as the best that they've looked in there.
Not as bad as the worst that they look.
So you got to kind of find yourself in between.
And I think the Ravens and the Texans are gonna get a pretty good match.
Look, I wouldn't be surprised if the, you know Watson and John Watson and detections win this game, so we will see.
We got about nine minutes left.
We didn't want to wrap it up right at 11 cause we have Kyle Center hosting the F p C fantasy football show Coming up here at 11.
I'll give him a follow in, tune in and all that stuff.
So, um, obviously the most important game of the weekend and I think you guys will agree. Don't disagree.
Just, you know, I agree with what I'm saying.
The New England Patriots first filled out the Eagles.
Folks, it's a rematch.
Answer. Bull 39.
Both teams coming off a bye week.
I hate it's just it's more Patriots football.
So I think Yeah, and I've kind of, you know, feeling since you know, the first day of my week, uh, I really like the Patriots in this game.
both teams coming off by.
I think the Patriots are a better team, and I think getting that, you know, kick to the chin and having two weeks to think about it.
It's going to do them wonders in terms of preparing for this game and, you know, executing in a highly hope to see Camille Harry, uh, kill Harry out there.
So, guys, what do you guys think? And, uh, you better say the right thing because I got the drop camera button right here, like the white eye.
When I think of the Patriots in this last civil right, Like the last couple.
I'm a boxing fan.
They kind of They remind me of Mohammed Ali where no matter who they face, it's, you know, they use like they use their own up.
They use the opponents releases against them, they will.
They will find that weakness and they exploited, and then they will not be appointed.
They will knock the opponent out Every team in his last run who have beaten Patriots.
The Bills were up on them.
Do you like the bills are up from the Ravens? They used the Joe Frazier attack with my homily, Which means just go right for him.
Just start punching him in the mouth.
Don't Don't try it.
You know, keep attacking.
And I think that that's the way that you like when teams have had successes, the Patriots that you beat them like you.
You start that process of lean on them, punch him in the mouth repeatedly.
And don't stop this.
That Eagles team is not this one.
This one is flawed like no snag.
Lord couldn't catch if he if he had five hands.
Carson Wentz is like he's the king of the yellow pad.
I just got caught up here. It's what happens.
They have no, exactly.
And is this for me? It's I just don't see that same sparkling.
This Eagles team has been too long where they still have a lot of the same pieces, but not a lot of the same swag, sweat, swag, same swag drip you with trans e.
I crack up every time I see that.
I think that it's just I think the Patriots win because they're they've been consistent the entire time.
Like they're the same person they've always been is gonna just just say measured approach.
No, not high enough, darling.
I just that I just something about the Eagles team is missing something like from their championship run.
I don't feel it.
I kind of thought do Sean Jackson.
So way we keep fumbling all the names, and I have been guilty of it, too.
But I'm actually talking about the Shar Jackson this time.
I think he he was going to be kind of that difference maker for them when we saw it.
Even in the very limited time that he was out there.
Ah, in his second set as an eagle how explosive that offense could be.
But obviously he's done for the year.
And likely, I would imagine, isn't gonna be anywhere near what he has been in the past, given his agent injury history so that that ship has sailed.
Obviously mentioned also on Jeffrey's, not they're so offensively, they're they're limited.
They do get the third round of J J. Ah.
He will be day viewing tonight.
But Jordan Howard is out, so yeah, I'm right there with you.
They don't have that same possess.
They don't have Nick full of fools being ableto give his magic.
And, you know, I think at the end of the day that the Patriots are just gonna be too motivated coming off that bad law, you know, tough loss and against the Ravens.
And, you know, look, I think the Patriots are the best team in the league.
Still, so now it takes the reason why I think they would beat a Neagle's team.
That certainly is not up to snuff, as they have released it to the level that they have been in the most recent past.
So, Brandon, what do you think this is a most win game for both teams for the Patriots aspect there now there, now vulnerable.
You know, Baltimore believes that smack in the loft, you know, and they just couldn't get out.
They couldn't get off the ground.
And I think that now teams are starting to take notice like, yeah, everyone's a special team.
They're a great team.
By taking notes not, you know, they're not invincible.
They're not unstoppable.
Every team is beautiful.
When you look at the Eagles aspect, Eagles right now are in a race just to get you know the Eagles.
The Eagles make the playoffs.
It's not gonna be because of a wild card spot.
They've got to get people doubts for the division.
If the girls are gonna get in the playoffs, they've got out.
Beat Dallas in Dallas, and Dallas is beating that now.
This year, most recent 37. Detect.
He's in the eight seed right now.
You know they could jump from 8 to 4 in a matter of weeks because they're not gonna get a wildcard spot between on behind Minnesota in Seattle.
Nel Scoville against the Rams.
They've got the Panthers and Bears breathing down their necks.
I think the Patriots win this game.
But don't think that the Eagles can't spark a fire late in the fourth quarter.
That's gonna cause extra pressure on New England.
Not saying Brady can handle Brady's the king of clutch comebacks.
You know that's a that's a probe at, but the Eagles have to win this game that pages have to win this game proposed to different reasons.
Obviously, you guys have more pressure, but the Patriots air in the you know they're trying to get the place to run to Roxborough once again, you gotta beat this type of teams that are in the run for a playoffs, especially in the NFC team, because let's face the NSC is the most more dominant conference in the A F C.
You can if you can.
You can beat down one of these NFC teams.
You're in good shape.
You know, you're you're proven that you can make a playoff run, not to make a bus, a plane up rock.
And that's where I think that Philadelphia Karan into some trouble.
If they don't beat New England, they I don't think they're gonna be able to beat these other teams.
They have to compete within the same conference.
So I got New England winning and a much more Titan contested game.
I got the 1 22 14 I think the Eagles defense rough so Brady a little bit, But I think Grady overcomes that second day.
So I got Patriots winning 2040.
Yeah, me Look, New England's in a good spot now.
If they keep winning a driver's seat because of ground by even even because even though they lost the Ravens, they still have that upper hand and you know this is a tough stretch for them.
But you know this.
This is where you know what they say.
Iron sharpens iron type of thing.
And, you know, this could be a good opportunity for them to find a fine tune, some issues and kind of smooth out about some issues that they've had as they get healthy.
So I do like the idea that this is a big game in a big moment for both teams.
I think, obviously, the Eagles are far more desperate in the sense that they have to win this game in order to keep their playoff hopes.
No, no, realistically, alive.
So all right, so we just got about 20 seconds left.
Um, I do real quick to get your prediction on two games that we have that you haven't talked about yet.
There's several others that we haven't.
But these two key games, I think, have a lot of implications.
First Jacksonville The returning Nick Foles, Indianapolis Terrance real quick.
Could you got one? That Kim, I think Nick Foles like, just like your brain damage.
And Nick, you know that Nick Foles magic.
I think that he leads into ah, four point victory.
I like it, Brandon, Jacksonville.
They wouldn't buy over 10 points.
All right, clean sweep.
We all got Jacksonville here.
Um, and of course, the other game I did want to get your prediction on it is Ah, what I have here.
Where's my notes? It was the Ah, Chicago in L.
Obviously, the ramps are are teetering on the verge of having just a lost season.
Sunday night football.
I think none of us really believe in the Bears.
But who do you have? One of the game? This is hobbled.
This is the hot liquid.
Quarterback is bowl, huh? Um, they're both, like, travesty and golf.
You know, they as weird as it sounds being so young.
Yeah, pretty much life.
Their window is closed.
Their window is closed and it's a weird It was open for one season, and it just is this weird? Me, I just I don't have any faith in Jericho off doing anything, and I think that people have been on a clear Mac all season for, you know, hopefully having five ***.
And that Randall offensive line is going to get Jared Goff hurt.
Not hurt, But he's if you can get him on.
You'll get them sack this week.
I think the Bears do just enough to screw over the Raiders.
Number one pick because Oakland has Chicago's own pick.
And for me, I would like to see the Bears tank all way through and rest all their starters for for the rest of the season, because on of the need to see my team but that to get the better pick.
But objectively, that does it better than the Ram.
So I 12 granted, I got I got that.
There's one, I believe.
Well, Mac, I clear Magritte's Aaron bottled.
I I've been a fan of Mac ever since.
And to think a little Max takes down cause minimum three times.
I wouldn't I don't think that comes off the line.
Is gonna be much protection of golf, And that's gonna take out Cooper Cup.
Robert Woods girlie whoever you want throw in.
I think that the Bears win because of defensive play.
Well, I'm actually gonna disagree with you guys.
I'm going to say the Rams win.
Um, but not by their own doing.
I think it's gonna be some Mitch Dubitsky off.
Awful turn over something late in the game, that kind of gifts, The rants.
Ah, it's gonna be It's gonna be a false So for Ram, Sam's going to be like that as shut.
So thank you guys for joining us.
We got ah, Kyle Center should be starting the FBC Fantasy football show just about now.
