What's up, guys? Welcome, Thio.
I know today later, but our post game recap on last lines game again.
Charlotte, Uh, it's a little bit like a cz one recorded a pocket pass last night.
Were kind of coming back with a strike.
I figured that was the other way to what we saw last night with Charlotte before.
I would kind of come out here and give my thoughts very frustrating game.
I mean, there's no two ways about it.
I know I've been on here staying.
I'm going to try to be pretty positive about things, but it's tough to be positive about last night.
Uh, we have 14 point lead at the half and look good.
Look like exactly what people thought the more optimistic people thought that the Pistons could be this year.
We're finally getting a little bit that, plus the healthy still my Reggie Jackson, obviously, but we're getting a team together like still not great, but it finally looks like we're gonna do what we should do that beat down on bad teams and kind of had the record to get back on track.
And then the second half happened and It was just really bad.
Everyone looked out of sync other than lengthen Galloway and we'll get the heaven.
He's on fire lately.
Um, Drummond had good stats, but nothing.
I didn't really feel like it was great impact in the game.
Blake still shooting pretty inefficient, and there's a couple of times where he launched a three and it barely hit the front of the Rams.
You can tell, but he's still missing some of the lift that he had last year.
Um, there's a terrible there grows turnover.
But the second left that anyone who wants to be could've called him can look at that because that's kept everything that he did, even whenever he was on his hot streak.
Start the season where we're getting the paint will jump up and then realize he's not take the shot.
But I'll just throw, pass and hope someone's there, and it's not good.
I mean, that's why I'm with There's a reason why we've been pretty high up in terms of turnovers this season, and that certainly didn't help the case.
Then it was became a most inopportune time.
I mean, when you're he could have a better use of that I would've been to just dribble the ball and hold and not actually take a shot.
And while that would've been annoying, just throwing it away with a second left is you just can't do that.
And you'd expect that from somebody like Speedy or carry Thomas is out with an injury or somebody like that who is kind of an experience.
But there goes the veteran, and he just he just has to know about that.
Uh, it doesn't help that Tony sent left the end mid game with him, sir, back another one goes out on an injury.
We can only have the whole team to get better ones, but I'm loving the excuses.
I mean, Charlotte came into this year looking to rebuild.
They look to be a bad team, and they storm fat and acted like they were the better team last night.
Uh, Langston Galloway was insane.
That is, 32 puts a new career high.
It's really, unfortunately, waste to just new career high, but he's plainly exactly what we would have to play like one Stan Van Gundy sent him, and he hasn't lived up to those expectations.
The last two years has been inconsistent, as has always been a big issue with him since he's been here.
But last night he was fantastic.
He's having a great start to the year.
Uh, now we get into a place where all of a sudden we're for nine, and while it's still really early in the season, we have time to turn it around.
You also get to aware place of where we go from here.
We have five days off until we play again.
But this was supposed to be the easy portion of the schedule.
And while yes, it sucks that we didn't have Blake and there rose for some live games and read for Jackson for many of those games before nine is just not enough.
Let's give the Bulls on the 20th.
So in four days, But then, after that, it's Hawkes Box Magic Hornets, Hornets.
That doesn't sound terrible, but like those air teams that round we're competing with, where do you see a win there? Um, before the season, you would have thought the Hornets breezy winds.
That's you patting your record and maybe they will be.
But they should.
They're not gonna be any ese out you go.
Whatever you were up for, Team.
They were still playing your top and then they stormed back.
Graham was really good.
Hit a bunch of clutch shots.
It's I don't have.
My optimism is certainly waiting after last night.
I'm I'm usually the most positive distance family fine, and I'm willing to criticize him, obviously.
But coming into this season, I was more interested than most I like. They see.
I think he needs to kind of re evaluate some things I like.
This roster is really optimistic they could and should and would be a playoff team.
But I don't look like it so far.
You can't eat with minister restrictions and things like that.
You can't blow a 14 point, second half lead against the team like Charlotte.
It's just not something that, uh, is acceptable.
So it'll be interesting to see the Bulls we play on.
We play them on 20th like I said and they're in a similar position that we are.
They're not meeting expectations there.
Young talent is kind of struggling, but we already played the months this year, uh, the first month, actually and they beat us.
So it's not like that's an easy win, either.
So, uh, I'm less optimistic than I was before I put it on my Twitter.
That there hasn't been.
This has been a rough season by the Russian of the season, obviously, but the injuries and there hasn't been a a result.
That really bothered me yet, because I mean, you can understand most of them while you're playing weaker teams, there's There's a week where we had no point card from the roster plate didn't play.
This is only a second game playing.
Reggie Jackson's been out, so there's definitely reasons to explain some of these losses.
There's no explanation for last night, Um, so I'm looking like that.
Ruin my whole outlook for the season.
But it is certainly the 1st 1 that really, really bothered me.
And I like Malik month.
I like something out of college. He's not been.
I thought he would be in the pros, but it shots like that, which are while I am, it's he's he should include, really could be clutch.
They can make the shots and I thought that shot was fantastic.
So I don't know you can do.
You have the limit turnovers.
You have to be a better on defense and turnovers, actually, convicts fixing the defense and this is this is some, like I'm beating up broken drum at this point, but Vince isn't something.
You can really fix this roster.
I don't see where they make a move.
I'm not at the point yet where I'm saying, Let's blow it up, but give me a couple weeks If we're say in its time right after Thanksgiving, where five and 18 or whatever the math would work out to be, if it's not that bad, it would be like five and 15.
You might see me a little bit closer to that, but I don't know it's tough, but we're in a really weird position where other than most people were up after this year, like Drummond can leave after this year ready.
Jackson's a free agent after this year.
Langston Galloway, who suddenly playing himself into a new contract, is a free agent after this year.
Um, so we'll see.
I don't I don't know what to expect on.
It's the first time that I really felt that way this season.
It's not like last year where I was pretty sure that 500 was what they were This year.
I thought they could win about 45 games.
Now they'll be probably lucky to get the 500 again.
Um, and it's a pretty common topic of love, man.
But in things like that and we talked about last night and strike three.
So check that out.
It's much easier for team with the Clippers to the old load management because they're loaded from a talent perspective, not just with Paul George, but their roster is very gritty, very consistent.
Um, Blake Griffin and Derrick Rose probably need live management's on the history that I have with injuries and nagging injuries and even what you are seeing this season.
But if they miss more games, I don't see a way.
The distance finished about 500.
So, um, I don't know it.
Sze top of uh now I thought I was angry headed last night, and I'm just a little bit the press because no maid service for four days and be like, Well, what? What kind of an opportunity did we just miss? And it's tough to call anything I must win on the 15th of November, but certainly less.
I felt like one, and they didn't so its second year in a row, we've lost on a buzzer beater to Charlotte in the neither year with Charlotte.
Very good, but sure, they were a little bit better.
But, um, I think they have some of the stuff that we've lost six games in a row to Charlotte, which for team, it has been a consistent bottom dweller.
I mean, you can't have those.
I probably feels the same way the T Wolves did before they got the win on Wednesday against us, where we had to beat them eight straight in a row.
And it's just not a good look.
So, um, back at it again Chicago this week that'll probably the next time I do one of these real quick, since I also kind of look at other teams a little bit, Um, I wanted to talk about the next situation a little bit and I have an article coming out soon about it.
But where it kind of explains some of my reason a little bit more, but it's a disaster.
I mean, it's just really embarrassing as an organization that you're gonna do that to. Coach Fizdale.
Um, I like physics, so maybe I'm a little bit biased.
I thought he was fantastic in Miami.
I don't There's no he's the issue.
Um, it was completely unprofessional to go about way that they did, Um, so I just don't understand how you can blame him.
Link put together a roster that, like the Pistons as they had one, so they were in a little bit better position in the distance and that repair.
But they've had one point guard for most of the season with a Smith missing time and effort.
And you had to play R.
Barrett, point guard, which, while I think he's very good, it's not his position.
But Robinson's this time with a concussion.
It's your You were young, it is special.
Begin with and you've been injured, So I don't I think most people would have projected them to be near the bottom of the East.
That's where they are.
Yes, it's embarrassing to lose by 20th home to things when they were reeling and the calf.
But I don't see how that's Fizdale fault and I think you'd be a scapegoat for an organization that is inherently flawed.
Uh, and that starts at the top a cz. I saw someone.
I think it was, uh, Justin.
It's up to, you know, put on a sweater.
It's whenever you're bad for one or a few years.
It's the coach's fault.
When you're bad for four or five years, it's the GMC Felt.
When you're bad for 20 it's the owner's fault.
And that's what it is like.
I mean, he'll never go out of his own team's what day he creates controversy and all points.
It's always kicking a can down the road and saying, You're gonna go big star hunting and kind of being interfering with everything.
But, like you've hired Fizdale, who was a sought after coach after his time in Memphis, and he turned on other options because he wanted to be there and coach, forcing guess and then you drink port, Um, which was made fun of at the time, like it's not like this is an inside people mock them a time that was the best player drafted, Probably Shin's Patrick Ewing, Um, and you gave him away for what turns out.
It looks like nothing.
I mean, you got some draft picks which don't look to be great.
You got Dennis Smith Jr.
Which I liked, but he hasn't really put it together yet.
And you did it under the guise off.
We created cap space and we're in a tank and get's ion and Tyree and Tedy Am and said, You have a large Roberto again.
I want a lot, but I don't think he'll be the franchise team with his eye on is and you but Julius Randle in Taj Gibson and Bobby Portis.
So, uh, I don't understand how GM can survive that.
I really don't know.
It's It's I know Steve Mills is a longtime professional in this league, but, uh, if that's just a bachelor, but you can't go without planning from away with nothing.
I think it's smart that all of them are on one plus ones other than Randall, cause that were tied to the long term, and they give you a little bit of flexibility.
But I mean, you just you can't live in a world where it's Tisdale's fault because you gave him this roster.
Should they be doing better? Yeah, should his rotation to be a little bit more? Quite possibly.
But they've been injured.
So how do you keep a consistent rotation? Uh, Frank Millikin probably needs to play more, but then he gets cooked.
So, um, I don't know what to expect with them knowing in New York that will probably fire Fizdale within the next week or two.
And I just think it would be a mistake.
And I don't understand how you can convince people to come there and work.
They think they're gonna sit there and Ah, the rumor was they're gonna offer a missile.
Huge money, Which I guess he likes a challenge.
So maybe, But I can imagine wanting to leave to run over there, and then they talk about, but we're two years away from Johannes.
Well, that's every two years.
You're in line for the next big superstar.
Eventually, you have to realize that what you have is is what you get.
So, um, but that's it.
I thought this was supposed to be broadcast, but that's kind of just something.
His father being the last week.
So, um, catch me on Twitter.
L s M uh, Pistons lead Next lead.
Lakers leave Stretch three.
Drop in the bay.
Um, one thing that and you can send a tow any of the twitters.
But I would prefer to mind, because that's when I checked the most at sea Org Y t l s m uh, I am looking for help naming this.
I'm not the most creative type.
So I have been since I often I label this is a pistons postgame, but on, I'll talk a lot about the piston just cause that's what I know the most about.
I have spread my wings, talk about a little bit of other things when I'm on here.
So if you guys have any suggestions for what we could name these, I'd be willing to wouldn't listen.
This my ideas and maybe, uh, kind of give credit where credit is due.
Don't help me Come up with a cool name will give you a shout out on here.
So until next time, guys.
So probably next Wednesday, Unless something crazy happens between now and then, have a good one
